genre : mixte

croyance : iels se sont détachés du diable il y a quelques décennies, aujourd’hui, c’est avec hécate qu’iels ont pactisé, se détachant des autres covens. cependant, se détacher du diable est un changement lourd de conséquences, et ils en paient le prix. la suprême et son bras droit se doivent de garder la face, d’habiller d’illusions les membres du coven et de garder l’équilibre entre la vérité et les mensonges qu’ils prônent. chaque année, en grand secret, la suprême fait don de l’un de ses membres, le condamnant ainsi à une septicémie fulgurante, tout ça pour que le diable les laisse en paix. la mort du malheureux était tragique, on demandait de l’aide à hécate, et la suprême jouait son rôle de mère qui s’inquiétait, tout en sachant qu’il était déjà trop tard, en sachant que c’était elle qui l’avait choisi. les morts suspectes se sont accumulées ces dernières années, et si personne ne sait rien, certains commencent à douter de l’air si innocent de leur mère spirituelle. après tout, qui étaient-ils pour penser que le diable ne viendrait quand même pas réclamer sa part ? 

réputation : iles se disent purs. les voilà; habillés de blanc étincellant. Iels cherchent la pureté de l’âme, refusent les traditions qu’iles jugent barbares et clament haut et fort qu’ils sont la nouvelle génération sorcière. iels ne sacrifient plus, ne tuent plus de pauvres animaux, non, iels offrent sur l’autel de leur divinité, des plantes odorantes, de l’encens, du thé aux herbes. ils se veulent progressistes et les voilà, à accepter les sorciers, les sorcières, à guider les humains avec des dons, voir même, à les laisser rejoindre le coven. iels se veulent proches de la nature et bienveillants. mais cela n’est qu’une façade, sous les apparences, se cache une fissure. et bon nombre vont tenter de l’exploiter. 

enseignements et domaine de prédilection : le contrôle de la magie avant tout, comment exploiter les plantes, faire des potions. prédilection en tout ce qui a attrait à la nature. 

points faibles : magie assez faible (sauf si regroupés) dû aux enseignements qui ne portent que sur le contrôle mais peu sur l’exploitation de la magie en elle-même. les rares membres aux pouvoirs développés l’ont appris par eux-mêmes, ou avec des livres. 

rapport avec les personnes non magiques : peu importe! qu’ils disent. le coven respecte les humains et se soucient peu d’eux. évidemment, étant donné que le coven possède quand même une faible énergie, les humains ont peu d’attrait. par contre, les humains avec des dons magiques, là, c’est autre chose. ils cherchent à les endoctriner, les pensant naïfs, pour pouvoir par la suite, puiser dans la force de leur magie. et puis la suprême doit désigner une victime pour le diable, chaque année, ça l’arrange plus quand elle est née humaine. 

rapport avec les autres groupes : du mépris tout au plus. rien d’autre, le coven d’hécate reste dans son coin et tente de narguer les autres grâce à leurs pratiques avant-gardistes et cela a pour don d’envenimer les choses. Des menaces ont été faites, à voir si finalement, elles seront appliquées.
