Okay I got tagged by both @arkhana and @maniac-reboggles for this, so here you go!

3 Ships: I don’t get invested in character relationships, but here are the three couples I’ve enjoyed thinking about lately:

Mina Murray x Jonathan Harker - I’m so glad Dracula Daily happened and more people became aware of this couple, the healthiest canonical relationship in classic horror literature. They are such a good team and so caring of and dedicated to each other without being particularly unhealthy or alarming about it and it’s a travesty that popular culture ignored practically everything about this relationship.

Agent Stone x Dr. Robotnik - I’ve not actually been thinking about this one a lot, but every time I remember it exists, it brings me joy. Lee Majdoub totally sells it as an assistant/minion who is very much in love with his mad scientist/boss. They are the best thing about the Sonic movies for me. Every good mad scientist needs a dedicated right hand henchman I truly wish that Agent Stone starts appearing beside Robotnik in everything from now on.

Salvatore Moreau x Bernadette Beneviento - I have been thinking about this couple a lot… although she is mentioned in game, Bernadette B is technically an OC and since RE didn’t give us much to work with regarding Moreau I have a lot of free reign to make their backstory connected and as tragic as I see fit! BWHAHAHA!

1st Ever Ship: …I genuinely have no idea. I was wracking my brain, but I don’t remember ever being wholly obsessed with a fandom relationship. However I do remember enjoying Bernard and Bianca in the Rescuers and Rescuers Down Under - so sweet and such a great team.

I wonder what would happen if her and Bernard swapped places in the films?

I like to think the reason Bianca can stay calm has to do with her leaving home and how traumatic it was for her. Because she saw so much and because it really was so terrible, she knows that staying calm is a way to take control of a situation. So if you switch them and now Bernard is the US delegate while Bianca is the one doing secretary work or keeping the offices tidy (mouse gotta eat, mouse gotta get a paycheck), Bianca is still calm while Bernard is suddenly under immense pressure and it's on display for hundreds of mice to see. Bernard does not do good with pressure but he's got a lot of heart and he'll do his best even when he's not okay. We love him for it. But that can't be comfortable. At all. If Bianca does like flirting with Bernard (she does) she probably makes sure he has his paperwork and finds reasons to slip it to him before meetings or feigns reasons to duck in quietly and slap it on his table before excusing herself. IF you reversed them, that is. :X

Some days I just think about how Frank Angones had a Rescue Rangers reboot planned and ready to go that would’ve involved the Rangers wanting to follow in the footsteps of the Rescue Aid Society (from The Rescuers) and Bernard was going to be a character and there was a whole mystery about the Society fizzing out after Bianca mysteriously disappeared (a la Della, if I may be so bold) and there was a backstory about the Society being founded by Olivia Flaversham after growing up as Basil’s protégé but Disney execs weren’t interested.

We were Fucking Robbed.

Is it wrong / to put all our hopes together / and wish for something better? (x)

I’ve had these sketches for a while where I continued brainstorming scenarios for the Riku and Kairi adventure to find Sora, and I’ve recently been able to return to them. I wanted to draw them in period appropriate clothing if they went to see the 101 Dalmatians, which made me want to draw Rinoa and Angelo in the style of the dog owners in the film :). I think it could be interesting if only one of them took a form of a dog to explore the idea of communication because I think that could be an issue in the AU. If there was a third act break up, it could revolve around miscommunication and Riku needing to trust in Kairi and her abilities. Also, if he left her behind, I’d like to think Kairi would just hitch a ride with Tantalus and ask Captain Silver for help (someone who wouldn’t like to be told to stay put either because of the whole “preserving the world order” business.) And I thought it might be fun to have The Rescue Aid Society involved in finding Sora and for Miss Bianca and Bernard to bring Kairi and Riku back together.
