Since it'll be a while longer until alecto releases (take your time tamsyn) I think we should try to avoid the usual insanity that befells a starved fandom by doing something unheard of:
Reading another book. So uh.
What books would you recommend to your fellow locked tomb fans to help with the urges until we get alecto?

I loved the bit where Brad says he doesn’t see anyone in the room with high enough rank to detain him and Loki just says, “I don’t work here.”

Imagine your f/o validating your emotions, even if you're in your PMS.
No, just because it's the time of month that you're more sad doesn't mean that those feelings aren't valid. You are allowed to cry, and cry more than usual, just as you're allowed and respected if you cry as much as you want on any other day.
You aren't emotional (/neg), you're feeling feelings. That's how feelings work. You don't have to bottle or disregard your feelings just because of brain chemicals making you feel things more than normal.

Linda McCartney played on Paul's 1989 album Flowers in the Dirt (specifically the song Rough Ride). Producers Trevor Horn, Stephen Lipson, and Chris Hughes were completely besotted remember working with her:
Trevor Horn: The other thing that I remember about Rough Ride was that we brought Linda in and Linda played some really great synths. She came up with this idea for a mini-moog part. We really liked Linda. So I was pretty keen to get her on the record. She also seemed to have a really good influence on him. He really liked her, if you know what I mean. [I know] that’s a dumb thing to say, but he did. Sometimes you meet people who don’t like their wives, you know.
Stephen Lipson: She was wonderful; absolutely brilliant. I haven’t got a bad thought in my head about her. She was the best; so warm. She invited us into their lives in a really lovely way. And that was Rough Ride. And then we mixed it.
Chris Hughes: I got very close with Linda. She was great. I spent a lot of time with her, and both of them; just hanging out. The pair of them invited me around to their place and cooked supper and they were great. Linda, particularly, was wonderful.
Trevor Horn: What are my memories of it? My memories are of Linda. I’ve still got the photographs she took of me and Steve, I’ve got them up on the wall downstairs.
