You and Gwen had just finished a particularly difficult and demanding mission, so when you both finally arrive to your apartment, she helps you take care of your bruises and scratches. You return the favor, taking care of her too

Warnings: mention of injuries, cursing, not very angsty, more like fluff actually, reader lives alone because I wanted to?? but not necessarily 18+, in my head it makes sense. SFW ofc

A/N: reader is kinda chaotic and clumsy?? because I was writing some HCs for this type of reader when I had the idea for this scenario so... it's kinda complementing my HCs post(that I haven't posted yet). Also, I didn't specify the relationship she has with the reader, so you can choose whether or not you guys are dating or something else, but it is romantic(cute feelings and kisses yay!). Proofread and written at 3am so idk if this is good but let's gooo.

She might’ve never admitted it out loud, but Gwen loved being paired with you for missions. That was one of the ways she found to keep an eye on you and make sure you were safe during dangerous fights. The two of you had slowly gotten closer with time– you met her through the Spider Society, of course, and despite her attempts to keep her emotional walls up and high, you managed to find a way into her heart. And when you did? Oh boy, she could not let go of you.

It was her instinct to become more and more protective of you, given everything she's gone through. Besides, that's what happens when you feel a deep connection to someone. She wants to protect you, keep you safe, make sure nothing bad ever happens to her precious spidey. And you were very aware of that. It was obvious, from the way she would find any excuse and moment to casually touch you, to how she'd stand closer to you whenever Miguel's anger over some mishap in a mission was starting to get out of hand, or when she'd keep her gaze on you from a distance whenever you were up to some trouble, always ready to rescue you when needed. You could tell how protective she was over you, and it made your heart grow warmer each time she showed you.

But even with all the protection she could offer you, keeping you completely unharmed was a very difficult task. You were a free spirited person, guided by your curiosity and passion, and there was not a single person in the entire multiverse who could get you to settle down and chill out. In other words, getting into trouble was a daily occurrence to you.

You had a tendency to dive head first into danger, and your passion for your "spider-duties" and keeping people safe encouraged you to jump into action without second thought. And of course, your approach wasn't always successful. This time wasn't very different.

Miguel had assigned you both to a particularly difficult mission. This anomaly you had to contain was unlike your usual villains, which is why you were caught by surprise and unprepared. Even though it demanded more effort than your average missions, you and Gwen were actually able to knock out this unconventional villain, but unfortunately, not before it did a number on both of you.

The nasty wound on your knee that caused you to limp was enough reason for her to not leave you unsupervised for a single moment. She refused to let go of you when heading back to the HQ, carefully helping you walk as she slung your arm over her shoulders to support you. No matter how much you protested(not much anyways, because you enjoyed how close she was to you...) and tried to convince her your bruise wasn't that serious, she simply wouldn't listen. She had to make sure herself that you were fine, and she wouldn't rest until she took proper care of your injury.

"Gwen, it's not that bad! I can still walk, I'm just slower than-"

"Shut up, you got hurt and I'm gonna take you home to make sure you're fine. Forgive me if I don't trust your words, troublemaker, but with the frequency you get yourself hurt, I have reason to worry," she tells you in a scolding tone, but you know she's not serious, seeing the hint of a smile on the corner of her lips, causing you to chuckle.

"Aw, you're worried about me?" you tease her, your gaze fixed on her as she narrows her eyes at you, playfully pretending to be fed up with your attitude. You laughed to yourself.

After a quick word with Miguel to make sure everything went okay with the mission, she insists on taking you home. Even though she had some injuries herself, she pushed them to the back of her mind, focusing on making sure your wound was properly taken care of before she worried about her own.

So, once you crawl inside through your window with her help, you allow your body to fall on your bed, letting out a loud sigh as you dramatically throw your arms up and cross them over your eyes. Gwen lets out a chuckle while watching you, your playfulness soothing her nerves since you don't seem to be too affected by your bruised knee. At this point, she knew your apartment like the back of her hand, so she hurried to get the first aid kit you kept in your bathroom cabinet.

Coming back into your bedroom, she sat with her legs crossed on your bed, placing the box beside her. She positioned your legs over each of her thighs, sitting between them so she could take proper care of your knee.

"Use the Hello Kitty[or whatever character you'd like] band-aids this time," you say, jokingly pretending to be mad at her, uncovering your eyes to look at her.

"Oh, you think those band-aids are gonna cover this wound? Cute," she teases you, laughing as she takes a few items from the first aid kit.

"It's not that bad," you dramatically let your arms fall on the bed, causing her to look at you. She knew she could get overly worried at times, but judging from your expression, you didn't seem mad at her. "I mean, usually it's a lot less worse, though. But did you see that villain? They were huge!" she chuckles, listening to your rant as she starts to clean the big scratch on your skin.

You kept rambling about the mission, as you usually do, letting Gwen do her thing. And in the back of your mind, you noticed how nice it felt. Not the wound, obviously. But how gentle she was when taking care of you. You had kind of a taste for danger, whether intentionally or not, but you were glad to have someone so patient and caring to patch you up every time you needed. And you could handle her totally non-threatening scolds, neither of you taking it seriously, knowing it wouldn't keep you from getting yourself hurt again.

You also started realizing how attentive she was. I mean, she was very focused on your bruise, carefully cleaning it to prevent any infections. But she also seemed to pay attention to your whole rant, complementing your comments with her own experiences from the mission. Most people would've tuned it out now, or wouldn't be able to focus on both things.

Your talk started to slow down, and as you fixed your gaze on her, admiring her focused expression, you noticed your breaths getting deeper and slower. You couldn't help noticing how pretty she looked. The bedroom was only dimly lit, the lamp on your bedside table illuminating your wound enough for her, but you could faintly see her freckles, and her soft smile that had appeared during your conversation, and how her hair was covering part of her face, her head tilted, eyes on your bruise...

Realizing that you had gone quiet for a moment, she looked up at you with a curious expression. Her hands stopped cleaning the scratch on your leg when she noticed the way you were looking at her. You weren't aware of it, of course, but she felt her heart skip a beat in that moment. "Why are you staring at me like that, you weirdo?" she joked, letting out a nervous chuckle. You hesitate for a moment.

Propping yourself up on your hands, you shift closer as you keep your gaze on hers. Her breath hitches with your sudden movement, surprised and curious about your intentions. "Because you look really pretty," you confess, trying to ignore how fast your heart is beating. Her eyes slightly widen at your words, and you can see a bit of her tooth gap as her lips slightly part when she lets out a subtle gasp. You brush a strand of hair away from her face, allowing you to have a better look at her, and it sends a shiver down her spine. "Thank you for putting up with me, and always taking care of me when I get hurt. Which is often," you let out a low chuckle, admiring her eyes as you straighten your seated position, your faces only a few inches apart.

Gwen's mind went blank for a moment, thoughts clouded as time seemed to melt while she was seated in front of you, closer than she would've dared, but not close enough for her liking. Your words make her scoff, slightly smiling as she shakes her head, "Yeah, more often than I'd like." She drops the cloth she was using to clean your scratch, allowing her hands to rest on your thighs. "It would be great if you could be more careful, but we both know that's not gonna happen," she quietly laughs, her gaze traveling across your face, observing all your features, that she adores so much.

You giggle, shaking your head from side to side, "No..." a playful grin appears on your face, knowing this scene would keep repeating itself, in different ways and settings, but reveling in the idea that she'd still be there for you. "Good thing I always have my princess charming to catch me right in time, right?" you say, tilting your head slightly to the side, wrapping your arms around her shoulders as you bring her closer. The grin that appears on her face matches yours, and she can't help but chuckle at your choice of words.

"Yeah, you always do," taking one last look at your eyes, she says before closing the distance between you two. Her hands move towards your waist, bringing you even closer as she kisses you. Even with your lips connected, you can feel the both of you smiling.

When you two pull back, breaking the kiss, you notice the softness and admiration in her gaze. You can only assume your eyes express the same for her. Breaking the silence, she turns her gaze to your bruise once again. "Alright, stop distracting me now, your knee still needs bandage," she tells you, and you let out a loud sigh as you let you body drop on the bed once more, but unable to hold back your giggles as you continue to gaze at her.

She quickly finishes patching you up, placing a large band-aid on your knee before reaching out to grab one of the colorful pens you keep on your bedside table. She draws [whatever character you like] over it, remembering how you wanted her to use your cuter, but unfortunately smaller, band-aids. "Done, are you happy now?" she asks, teasing you.

Sitting up again, you notice her drawing on your bandage, which makes your eyes light up. To her, the look on your face was the equivalent to cartoon characters having stars in their big, wide eyes, and seeing you like that made her giggle. You quickly embrace her in a tight hug, only pulling back to pepper kisses on her face, causing you both to laugh.

"Thank you, it looks super cute," you say with a sweet smile on your face. Despite the darker setting, you could almost see a slight shade of pink on her cheeks. "Did you get any bad bruises too?" you ask, concerned about her state as well, even though she hadn't complained about any injuries.

She shakes her head, a small smile still on her face as her expression softens at your gentleness and concern. "Nothing a shower can't take care of," she replies, reassuring you. You nod, slowly pulling away your arms from her shoulders.

The two of you had gotten used to this. You enjoyed having company in your apartment, so you'd always invite her over, sometimes for a sleepover, and sometimes it would last a few days... You got used to her borrowing your clothes, eating your food, sleeping on your bed(because you refused to let her sleep on the couch, even though she said it would be fine). It was nice to constantly have her as a house guest.

So you get up, carefully as to not hurt your knee again, and make your way towards your closet, finding clean, comfortable clothes for her to borrow. Handing them to her, she gets up from your bed and plants a kiss on your forehead as a thank you, heading to your bathroom to take a shower.

While you wait for her, you notice the sounds coming from your stomach, and you assume she might be hungry as well. Since you have time, but not a lot of energy since you got back from a mission, you decide to make a quick and easy meal just for the two of you.

Right after her, you take a quick shower, feeling more comfortable and warm. You bring the two bowls with food to your bedroom, sitting down in bed with Gwen, your backs against the headboard as you turn on the TV to watch something while you eat.

Despite the intensity of the day, it feels relaxing to simply enjoy a simple meal in bed, right beside her as you laugh at the TV screen. For these few moments, there's no Spider duty, no problems that need to be solved. She could finally relax, knowing the both of you were safe and okay.

After a while, both plates finished and now in an almost laid down position, the tiredness from the day started setting in. A few yawns were let out by both of you as your eyes wanted to drift closed, but neither of you wanted to give in, enjoying each other's company too much to let your exhaustion get in the way.

Unable to resist any longer, and partially because you wanted to feel Gwen closer to you, you finally decide to turn off the lights. Laying down and finding a comfortable position, you wrap your arms around her, bringing her down to lay next to you. You gently hold her face, laying her head on your chest as your arms wrap tightly yet comfortably around her.

Gwen was a bit surprised by your actions. Of course you had already slept in the same bed before, but being this close to you? That's a new one. It took her a moment to really adjust to it.

She started noticing how softly you were holding her, even though your grip was tight enough to keep her close. It made her feel comforted and wanted. And when you started playing with her hair, oh, she melted under your touch.

Almost instinctively, she buried her head deeper into your chest, her arms wrapping tightly around your waist. You could tell what it meant for her to be held like that, so you placed a soft kiss on the top of her head, glad to offer her comfort in return for how caring and gentle she was with you.

Truly, it meant a lot for you too. You might be reckless, like, 90% of the time, but being able to witness this, to notice how all of her muscles relax while you're lovingly holding her, how her breath starts to slow down and get steadier with each second, it was like being bathed in sunlight. As you felt both of you drifting asleep, all you wished for was that this moment would last for as long as it could.

When we pull into Chan’s designated parking spot I’m so nervous I could puke. 

“Hey,” Chan says, gently putting a hand on my knee to stop its bouncing. “They’ll all love you just as much as I do. But if you still want to go home I’ll drive you ‘kay?”

“No, I want to meet them.” I force out of my mouth. He just nods and we both get out of the car and begin to walk towards the door. When he opens it, the first thing I notice is the smell of freshly baked brownies. Then, I hear yelling and laughing coming from the living room.

“YOU landed on MY property. PAY ME THE DANG FINE.” 

Then I fear another voice scream

“YOU’RE IN JAIL! I’M NOT GIVING MONEY TO A CRIMINAL.”

“THAT’S NOT HOW YOU PLAY!!!” the first screams.

All of this over a game of monopoly? 

“Boys” I mutter with a playful roll of my eyes. “I know right” Chan responds with a small smile.

Chan leads me to the living room. “Hey guys” he greets the six men casually.

“Hey Chan hyung.” one with mid length dark hair and glasses responds. “Who’s that?” he asks, pointing to me.

“This is Y/n. She’s a good friend of mine and older than half of you so show some manners and introduce yourselves.”

“I’m Jeongin” glasses says.

“Seungmin”

“I’m Felix”

“I’m sexy king Hyunjin”

“Man shut up.” the shortest says with a small laugh, “I’m Changbin”

“I’m Minho”

Then they go around again and tell me their ages. But I thought Chan told me they’re were eight members in his group? As I finish my thought, someone bursts in through the door.

“‘Sorry I’m late guys. Oh hi… what’s your name? I’m…”

“Han?”

There is a pause, a moment of silence, and for a second I regret saying anything.

“Uh yea, I’m Han Jisung. How did you know my name?”

“Chan talks about you gusy all the time. I just assumed it was you because you were the only one missing. I’m Y/n''

oh my gosh, oh my gosh, oh my gosh there is no way HAN JISUNG the man who is (partially) responsible for my villain backstory is the eighth member of Chan’s band

“I’m gonna run to the bathroom real quick” I say, trying to excuse myself from the source of my impending panic attack. I speed walk to Chan’s bathroom and lock the door behind me. Once I get the feeling that I’m safe, I slide my back down the door and sit on the floor, bringing my knees to my chest and burying my head between them. Then I try to regulate my breathing before I start hyperventilating.

Breath in, one two three, breath out. Breath in, one two three, breath out

I repeat it over anad over again until my breathing is as regulated as it is going to get. Then, I get up and fix my mascara and blot away the bits that escaped with my tears.

I walk out of the bathroom and find Chan alone in the kitchen. “Hey Chan, I’m feeling kind of sick so I think I’m going to head home.” 

“Are you okay? You were fine when we were at lunch.” he looked concerned. Great, now I feel bad for lying

“I just got really bad cramps out of nowhere. And you know I get crabby wehen I don’t feel very well.” I try to end the conversation quickly so he doesn’t catch me lying. “Oh, I didn’t know you were on your period. I would have just brought lunch to your place. Let me go get my keys so I can get you home, kay?” 

My period? Ohhhh, he thinks I’m on my period. Thank God he thought I was on my dperiod because I hadn’t thought that far into my lie. While celebrating that little victory, Han walks into the kitchen. 

“Oh hey. I saw you were looking sick and I wanted to come check up on you” he said while grabbing a soda from the fridge. “Yea I just have really bad cramps.” I lied again.

“That sucks,” he started, taking a sip of his fanta. “Hey, I was just wondering if you went to Fairview High School. You kinda look like this girl I used to hang out with.”

“Uh yeah, I went there. I thought I knew you from somewhere but I couldn’t tell.” I responded. ‘A girl I used to hang out with’ huh. Was I really the only one that was thinking about our relationship for the past seven years. Not gonna lie, that kind of hurt. Because up to a couple moments ago I thought very highly of Han, I still considered him a friend. Because he had been my only friend for so long, I sort of held hope that he would be my friend forever. But I was too naive, I should have known he would forget me. I mean, I’m not that memorable; but I thought I would at least be more than a girl he ‘used to hang out with.’

Not a moment later, Chan comes back into the kitchen with my shoes. “Oh, hey Han. The kids are waiting for you so they can start a new game of uno.”

“Ok. Nice catching up with you Y/N.” I mustered the nicest smile I could at the moment and responded with a bitter ‘you too’ before moving to hop off the counter to put on my shoes. 

Chan holds me down by my knees and kneels down to lace up my converse himself. “What were you guys talking about?” he asked after tying the first shoe. “We used to go to the same highschool.”

“Cool, were you guys friends?” Chan asks, now finished with tying both shoes. “I thought so” I mumble, mostly to myself.

Peter saying he doesn't deserve the kid after Miles saved his life TWICE. Love they showed Peter can't believe it. Its so cool how they showed Miles saving him those both times and Miles still says "Its a 2 spiderman job" I'm gonna CRY!!

Peter also really shocked Miles reformed his sworn enemy its so cool oh my god

MILES and his sworn enemy Martin Li (rightfully so the man caused a lot of harm) WORK TOGETHER TO SAVE PETER?!? (Second time for Miles)

also I haven't finished all the wraith missions since the next one isn't available yet I have a few main missions left but when The Flame ended his sentence with "carnage" and he was holding the symbiote container and the symbiote turned red-ish??

and then Yuri/Wraith said she'll look into his past identities INCLUDING "Cletus Kasady" like?!

LIKE THIS GAME IS HITTING EVERYTHING.

We even got MJ AS SCREAM?! And Peter fighting her and they're having their heart to heart WHILE FIGHTING THE SYMBIOTE CONTROLLING HER??

And of course before all that, Peter really turned crazy with the symbiote I'm glad cause that was scary and we needed it omg poor Miles like had to deal with that all along with MJ too

And man idk how Harry is gonna come back from this as Venom?? We all saw Venom right?? We got to play as Venom oh man

I just finished watch season 2 of Dead End: Paranormal Park (aka just dead end) and OMFG IT WAS SO GOOD. Literally left me in tears, excuse me while I ramble: (Spoilers for Season 2, duh, please go watch it if you haven't already before reading)

First off, the character Fingers???? So well executed!! At the beginning I was like, "something's up with him" but I couldn't put my FINGER on him (get it?? Yes pun intended). With that, what's up with the master?? He said he had a deal with him and it's almosy like Fingers was afraid of disappointing him! (I mean probably because he would/did get killed but still makes me wonder what made him like that to start with and how their relationship came to be. Hope we can see some backstory in a hopefully season 3) Also Fingers character design and personality is so good!! He's got this creepy vibe to him that immediately caught my attention and sjshdu. Not to mention Im gonna make either a cosplay or overall humanoid version of him simply cause I think it would be AMAZING seriously I know I'm supposed to hate him and stuff but I can't get over how well his character is made!!!

Second, PUGSLEY! NO! That entire scene of him "dying" (putting that in quotations but I don't think he's actually dead with that whole shot at the very end of the episode) with the other Pugsley (The Watcher? Idk mate) was also very well executed and did not disappoint and when they did that whole head nod thing towards each other I was like, "what are they- oh. oh no" I was literally screaming, kind of happy I was home alone while watching this.

Third, all of the callbacks to the first season in the last episode we're amazing!! Not to mention all the new characters and Norma coming out as bi to her mom!!! The whole gym sequence and Asmodeus (seriously if I had a nickel for every time Alex Brightman was in a show with someone else as Asmodeus I would have two nickels. Which isn't a lot but it's weird it's happened twice, right?) ALSO ALSO NORMA ADMITTING HER CRUSH TO BADYAH?? THEN BADYAH REJECTING HER??? IT HURT TO WATCH BUT THAT WAS SO IMPORTANT TO SHOW THAT YOUR NOT ALWAYS GONNA GET THE PERSON YOU LIKE AND SUCH! And then Badyah saying something along the lines of her never experiencing romantic feelings? That left me wondering if she was aroace and just didn't realize yet! Not to mention it would be wonderful representation as if this show didn't have enough of that! Oh yeah, if you haven't watched the show and are still reading this, it has wonderful representation! Not only LGBTQ+ but also people who are hispanic and different religions too!! Please watch it it's so good I can not emphasize enough how much I love it!!

Overall VERY well made and I am very much hoping for a season 3 or at least a mini series to tie up what we saw at the end. If you have any extra things to add to this post PLEASE I would love to hear them!!!!

I typically draw whatever interests me depending on the day, but I probably should've made a list first to make it clear what those interests are.

Note: I'm very fic reliant. I could like a show but what REALLY gets me into them is the fan content bc they tend to flesh things out more, in a way that I can understand, and make me appreciate characters/events that were not properly explored in canon. Idk if that's gonna be an issue but I'm sure there are elitist people out there who only claim canon content while bashing everyone else for enjoying fan theories and aus.

🚫Oh and some proship warning, I guess? (I've seen other artists include it so..) Excluding my notps, I'd read any story with ships I probably didn't know existed so long as: I already like one or two of the characters in the ship, the thought of them together makes me curious instead of repulsed, and if the story itself looked too interesting for me to ignore.🚫

Haven't caught up to the manga yet but loosely following the anime. Read quite a bit of lengthy Deku centric fics, and that + what I've gotten so far from the show are what fuels my headcanon aus when I draw them.

Naruto

Tbh I only watched the og kids Naruto when I was young and any shippuden knowledge I have is a mix of posts from other fans, Google, and fics. Already said this before in an older post but I read a lot of time travel/fix its so I just assume that when similar events are included in more than 2 timetravel fics (if it's still set in naruto's timeline and not like, minato's or pre konoha), then that's probably what happened in canon. I also just Google any shippuden powers or characters I'm not familiar with, which is quite a lot but it works for me.

Log #1 "Okay So- I got myself into this mess" Loading....

Some friends gave me their thoughts on the series after I asked around and their answers made me think.

AreOri is an alternate timeline where Fubuki Atsuya lives, the alien attack didn't happen, Gouenji didn't have to run, Raimon got divorced and went separate ways, and teams have sponsors now because capitalism. (im joking on some parts but still)

Now, we're starting where everything is dead and done and Raimon already went to other schools and made a name for themselves, and we're following a new cast who have to deal with the aftermath of everything. And the new villain, children perfectionism/ half-joke. I haven't finished Ares yet, but I can feel like that's a part of the theme especially with the whole schtick the Balance of Ares program's got going on. But that's a different story for a different time.

What I'm gonna be talking about now is the characters.

Of course that characters we loved and knew from the OG series are gonna be different here. (im still confused about someoka ngl) The development they went through in the OG is gonna be pretty different here or probably non-existent. A huge part of Fubuki's arc was caused by his family's death and it all avalanched into mental instability. (if my memory's right, it's been a while since i've revisted the OG series) Kazemaru also probably didn't leave Raimon in the AreOri timeline, so guess what, he just teams up with the antagonist in his character arc in every timeline. It actually reveals an interesting about his character, tho (i HAVE to watch the entirety of OG, im feeling it)

But the thing is, we also have ANOTHER cast to develop along with explaining some of the changes with the first cast. I feel like there's going to be a lot of flashback moments with the old cast. And to make up for the lack of development of some characters, I'm gonna involve the new cast into their development so the spotlight gets shared equally if it comes to it. Cause the new cast needs some love AND development. But I still have to finish the series and study them more.

So, my thoughts so far on Ares:

Rushed. Jesus H. Christ, twas rushed. It gives the feeling of tuning in while missing out on parts of the story, atleast for me. The first episode made me feel like I was missing the first half of it. I wished they let us see what the kids' life on the island was like. You know to SHOW US WHY WE SHOULD CARE FOR IT. Shoving a bunch of kids crying for their parents on screen aint gonna cut it for everyone, my good men. Show us what their life was like, what they were gonna miss. At least like a part so the flashbacks in their training felt a bit foreshadowed and connects to what we saw to the first ep to make it a little more memorable. (i am losing brain power fast, so im not sure if this makes any good sense)

The thing with Ares, Akane, and Nosaka got me curious. The Inakuni has potential. Haizuki's funny. I kind of like his development. Also I love Endou's civilian fit when he made his first appearance. Idk i just fell in love with it. (give him back his melanin pls) Kozoumaru's interesting, especially his connection with Gouenji (dude helps out a kid in every timeline). Hiura's supposed to be like a detective, right? Let him be more detective-y. Goujin's funny. He has a little charm to him. Mansaku and Michinari are interesting, especially their family dynamics. I love Iwato and Hattori's relationship. They're cute. Who is Okuiri Hiro? I love Norika's personality (it's a personal favorite thing). I think her backstory and home life are interesting. Hiyori's cute and I like him. He's silly. Coach Zhao is Coach Zhao. (this man is a war criminal) I like the new managers. She's silly and Anna's nice.

I'm gonna save Asuto (Bug Boy) for another post.

You might have seen my art and been wondering wtf is happening in it. Well, tbh sometimes I also have no idea. But most of the time it's my OCs from one of my stories!

This blog is like a larva… It's just been lying there but soon enough it will just stir and become the strange creature: a blog for both serious long posts about my story and some absolute shitposts.

I want to do this post to talk a little bit about the process behind the stories I'm planning to tell: how they were created at first, what are they called, and how I'm gonna try and organize this blog! :D

Below is a long post with me talking about my stories and what I plan to do with them!!

DOZENS OF ASPECTS

"Dozens of Aspects" (or DA) is the main story that I'm currently working on. It's a detective fantasy story set in space!! It's also got lots of fantasy science and cosmic ace lesbians.

The supposed form for it is an illustrated book. The stage I'm at — character designs & script preparation!

It takes place in the year of 3012 in the cosmoopera-like universe, and the main characters are scientists who work with anomalies. One of them, Eli makes a particularly strange acquaintance (well, tbh, they kinda randomly adopt a kid. He is called Kayleigh and he has a secret. A secret anomaly friend...)

That gets them on a trail of a pretty strange series of events…

It's a story about different societies, plants, flowers' memories, red skies, and many other strange things... There's a detective story that has a complicated plot and shows life inside some of the planets in this universe.

Funnily enough, originally it was supposed to be a prequel to the DLG (the next story this post tells about), but the plot grew so complicated this story became its own thing. I've been working on DA for like 4 or 5 years now, but I haven't done much, as a couple of years of work have been taken from me by depression and health complications… Right now I have finally started somewhat digging the vibes again and, hopefully, I'll be able to progress with it soon! :D

DOPPELGANGER

"Doppelganger" (or DLG) is the next in line after the DA story, it follows the life of one of the main characters - Kayleigh. In DA they were 12 yo, and DLG tells about their adulthood after the DA events.

Supposed form of the story — maybe a comic? Or also an illustrated book? Idk I need to write DA first. The stage I'm at — idk I just draw OCs from there sometimes :D

(No, the tattoo-ed person is not grown-up Kayleigh, that's Qiyong, she is just very hot so I love to draw them A LOT) The events take place at 3019, Kayleigh, now grown up, goes back to Alta-Costar, one of the cities where DA events took place, to dig up more info. He makes some new friends and meets some older frenemies… And btw also there's a revolution boiling up in Alta-Costar.

While DLG is kinda frozen at the moment, it has the coolest cast of characters and immense vibes, so I still feel like drawing it sometimes... ;w;

GREAT LIVES

"Great lives" (or GL) is a story (it is frozen for now) that happens in the other corner of the same universe as the other two stories. It's a series of cosmic road-movies following one spaceship captain and her new alien girlfriend. Just fun and gay stuff.

Supposed form - a comic? Also illustrated book? Idk!! I haven't been working on this story for a while but one day I will!!!!

Fun fact: I've invented GL when I was like 12, and I felt that this story can be REALLY COOL, but I'm not cool enough to tell it yet. So yeah, about 7 years later, I'm still waiting to become cool enough. But the main characters already went from a messy triangle to an nb lesbians polycule, so I think we are getting somewhere-

I'm trying so hard to post about my Tntduo politics au bc it's based on the politics of my country but I can't stop trauma dumping all over it bc I grew up watching the news and was smart enough to understand the horrible things I saw

Anyway, before I go on about how the war on drugs made me scared of being killed by the police and how the terrorism in my country psychologically affected me as a child let me show you some of the ideas I came up with and a short drabble I haven't finished

Quackity is a law student or maybe like an intern at a law firm who works as a hitman to pay his bills. Wilbur, Tubbo, Tommy, and maybe Fundy are con men turned politicians (so essentially still con men- *gets shot*) I’m gonna figure out what their family tree is and how they’re all related to each other which will probably be a challenge, a slightly horrifying, somewhat frustrating challenge

Also quackity’s family tree what am I gonna do about that

Okay so Sam and Ponk are his fathers, Sam works at a bank/is a policeman and Ponk is a doctor/nurse. I haven’t really decided yet but for Sam I’ll probably go with police because this story is all about the government in a bad way and I think a cop would help like emulate that theme better than a banker (also because I have more personal issues with cops than bankers dfjlsdjfks) They have this weird on and off relationship but Ponk is always nice to him.

Tw: mentions of police killing

Sam gets into legal trouble for idk police brutality (edit: he got mad at someone and shot them while off-duty bc for some reason they let policemen keep their guns in my country) and to avoid further controversy he was dismissed/told to resign so now Q is living with Ponk in his apartment and Ponk hasn’t been getting a lot of patients lately due to new technology being developed making it way easier to treat the things Ponk normally does so they’re struggling financially. George is there too ig, he has a job in tech support and is considered good at it because he's so apathetic he can handle anyone or we can take this another way where that's just his facade and underneath that is boiling rage

Anyway one day Q is out doing his job and his target is the up and coming politician William/Wilbur Soot of the somethingsomething party, they’re in their apartment or whatever and Q is in position. He’s paying close attention to what they’re saying and doing because there were no other close buildings for him to snipe from and he hopes that he isn’t noticed by them

(This part went from outline to mostly just writing)

They’re discussing their tactics and within the first 15 seconds of listening in on them while he readies his gear several alarms go off in his head because literally everything they’re talking about doing is super super illegal.

Quackity had seen his fair share of illegal activity over the years, but none of them riled him up as much as this did.

He couldn’t believe this man was the guy who was going to become president if he wasn’t sent here.

Quackity liked to think of himself as a justice-oriented person. After all, it was the entire reason he had studied so hard, pushed himself so far, to pass the board exam and become a lawyer.

And yes, he does acknowledge that being a hitman is super illegal, but his targets usually had it coming. Justice isn’t about being nice, it’s about being fair. They did horrible horrible things, some Quackity had witnessed with his very own eyes, so he was glad to take most of them down.

But in the end, he was just serving and furthering the agenda of his equally, if not worse employer. And he knows himself enough that unless someone points him a person, hands him triple his family’s rent money, he doesn’t have it in him to shoot.

Quackity decided that day that he was tired of this. Tired of hiding in the shadows and letting all of this happen. He wasn’t going to be like his dad’s superiors, allowing him to get away scot-free if he retired, if he went down quietly.

Then he goes and kills his employer then registers himself as a candidate but I haven't written that yet

I'm so glad you wrote so much Leatin for TW and I hope you continue to grow as a writer. I wanted to reach out to you but couldn't do so as I refuse to make a tumblr account XD so I enlisted my buddy that I made from the wilds discord server to do it. Take it easy, you've got a forever reader in me.

So let me attempt to explain a little why I have an outline and not a completed fic. The fic that I plan to release after the Star Wars AU was being written around the same time I was working on the outline for the s3 fic, and they felt fairly similar to me. Idk if I can blame outlining or the fact that I was writing a fic that seemed too similar to parts of the outline for shaking me out of actually writing the s3 fic. I have two and a half chapters actually written, I think, and there's not much of it I'm particularly fond of, even though I like the premise I came up with overall. Translating the outline into an actual fic, in this specific case, is difficult for some reason.

I'm slowing down with writing right now. It happens. I wrote A LOT between February and the beginning of July. My life's changing. If it wasn't burnout, I'd still be forced to slow down, even though I've proven to myself that I can write a shit ton in a short amount of time if I'm given the opportunity and have the will to do it. It normally comes back around, but I'm not gonna attempt to predict what my writing-related future holds at this point.

I may just use this opportunity to spill a little more emotion or at least share some of my writing journey over the last year and a half. I started The Wilds on a whim, at 10 pm, while I should've finished a different show. Literally I can't explain what compelled me to watch the show, and I stayed up until 3 because I was hooked. 1x09 convinced me of Leatin, and I was a FTWD writer but suddenly felt compelled to write for yet another non-canon wlw ship that didn't have a lot of fic (at least, when I wrote my first Leatin fic, there wasn't much). I wrote a oneshot that my now best friend commented on before we started messaging; writing that fic literally brought us together. Writing Leatin fic got me through my second - and ultimately final - semester of law school. I posted daily updates of and it's like our world but we're the last ones left in the midst of law homework and exams. Similarly, I wrote the exes fic, we're falling apart still we hold together, while deciding to leave law school and posted chapters during exams. I wrote a fic without an endgame that I liked and know plenty of people did not. I forced the ending of another fic because I was afraid people wouldn't like what I felt was its natural conclusion and chickened out of following it. I wrote two AUs I never expected myself to write (fake dating and soulmates). Writing i'll be waiting on you forever helped me work through and process some of my personal shit.

All of that - and I haven't even covered every Leatin fic I've written - to say, writing Leatin fics has helped me in ways even I probably don't fully understand. It's made me friends that I love dearly. Though I will say, my popularity did spook me for a while. I've made peace with it, and now it's kinda funny. Anyway, for the last year and a half, I've had something I've wanted to write about, something to pour all my creative energy into. I've been able to share my work, and save for a few minor things, everyone has been unbelievably kind to me. The cancellation sucks, but it's still hard for me to be sad because writing these fics and discussing them and making friends because of them has been one of the biggest highlights of the last year of my life. I mean, my life is not what I expected it to be back when I began writing Leatin fics. So much has changed, but working on Leatin fics remained consistent and it helped me. It helped me personally, since writing is my coping mechanism, but it also helped me push myself as a writer, and I think I've seen results.

I'm not sure I'm making sense anymore. It's 2 am lol so I'll stop, but I'm glad the s3 outline is useful for something. Otherwise it might've just sat on my drive forever, and what good would that do? Alright, I'm done for real now. Thank you, seriously.

Okay so I have a lot of feelings about this episode, but I’ve gotta say it might be my favorite episode of desperado so far? Like I’m a MASSIVE fan of someone to dance with and the ending of s2e1 is a scene that will echo in my brain until I fucking die, but this one just had so much in it...like so much. but also, how the hell did she know Abby was at the aquarium??? everyone's saying Nora probably told her, but we saw that whole interaction, and it was never mentioned? she beat the shit out of Nora, there's no way Nora was telling her anything. and I don't imagine she would've asked anyone else because 1, there were too many and they all wanted her dead and 2, she was basically in the basement (I think? haven't finished the rewatch yet) or the parking garage, so I'm sure she found an exit that way. she could've overheard someone talking about it, but she seemed pretty shaken up when she got back to Dina and Jesse, so I doubt she was in the right headspace to eavesdrop

☆guess who's back!☆

IDK if I still have any mutuals on here after how long I've been away, but I'm back and excited to start posting again! I have a lot of fun written, musical and artistic content that I'm excited to share on here again. I've missed the text-based blog format and I'm ready to return! Without further ado, here are some of the projects I'll be working on this year.

My original musical "On Replay" is getting professional workshops done with the full length draft of the script and song demos THIS MAY! I have 3 weeks to finish my script and another 2 on top of that for my demos to be ready for audition weekend in march. I'm incredibly excited as this is my biggest and most long term passion project from when I did my first short-form workshops in August last year. I cannot wait to see where this goes.

I'm playing Dogberry in TAPAC's season of Much Ado About Nothing! The performance will be the weekend before I've set auditions for On Replay to be which will be tight but means I've finished the show before sorting auditions for another.

I'm going to start being active on my Youtube Channel "MeKaiElla" again! I'm going to be posting regular covers as of this weekend every 2 weeks, hopefully working on some more general youtube content as well if I can get a good video camera

I'll be posting regular content reviews of shows, movies, music and other art that I get to enjoy on here, hopefully at least weekly or two times a week

I'll be tabling at a LOT of conventions and markets this year, as many as I can get my hands on reserving to up my con-game and selling game this year. I haven't secured a table for Overload as of yet but I will be putting aside cash for when I get the email that a table is ready for me and whoever I plan to split it with!

Speaking of my art, I'm going to be investing a lot more time in making art more regularly, I've missed it and have been finding my joy in it again recently without pressure, but I want to improve my skills and build my graphic design and illustration brand if I can so I'll be posting more regularly, making and hopefully reaching feasible growth goals and hopefully be able to cultivate a supportive and large enough audience that I can open my very own Patreon.

My partner and best friend are working on a podcast! It'll either be called the "Three Braincell Podcast" or "The Chodecast" depending on what we decide, once my friend moves into her new place we're gonna get started on planning our format and getting some test streams and episodes out there.

I plan to work on more cosplay content as I am now an exec member of my university's cosplay association, I will be bringing monthly content both on here and at @azuresparkz.cos on instagram. I MAY be returning to tiktok creation at some point, but I'm still on the fence. It's been 3 years since I made Beetlejuice content on there and I havent redownloaded tiktok since may of last year, so we'll just have to see what happens.

I'm actively studying theatre and acting at university, so i want to put some of my time into writing skits and working more on my scripts and putting them to the performance test on both larger and smaller scales such as on youtube, reels and tiktok. I also

I've been applying for a TONNE of jobs, currently employed as a freelance graphic designer currently hired on a monthly basis by a Training Company and also working at a vineyard close to my parent's house. I've got 3 more jobs in the works, a cafe near my flat that's wanting me for casual work, a Theatre in the city looking for FOH and the University Magazine! I'm looking at the Cafe's contract today and am waiting on interview dates for both the magazine and the theatre this week, but all opportunities are very exciting! Hopefully I'll be able to organise myself and these jobs so I can prevent myself from overstretching with my studies, work and projects and not burn out like last year

My band "Kaloula" is going to be doing tonnes of gigs this year so I'll be posting bits and pieces about our gigs, recordings we do, and such and the like so if you're in the Auckland NZ area you should come check us out at the Portland Public House every other week @ 10pm! (once we get our dates for this year teehee)

I plan to also develop and produce a solo EP this year, ready for full release by the end of this year, with solos dropping throughout the year. I'll be talking more about this after my focus on my musical and it's concept album are complete.

So! A lot of plans, a lot to work on and a lot of opportunities and projects to be excited about. I can't wait to share all of this on here and connect more with an audience for all my exciting projects!
