also by the way i am always obsessed with how spider-people just click and can work together without anything being said in spiderverse . mcu spiderman being like "omg ive never worked in a team” “how are we going to work together” “well im on a team so i’ll lead us" like that was the most boring way to do it . spiderverse instead saying "we just know how to work together because our histories and lives are so linked, its like knowing someone your whole life. seeing the self in the other. our lives rhyme.” LIKE I LOVE YOU GUYS

Another favourite angst trope: When a character is so used to being treated badly that they don't see anything wrong with it and talk and think about it very matter-of-factly
Until they meet the other characters and see how HORRIFIED they are every time they reveal another detail from their past

Might as well put this here-
Please..... please say something about fat characters that isn't "huggable" or something along those lines... listen, I love love those softer aspects of being fat- hell, I love giving hugs! ...but it really feels like such a dang neutral statement at this point. Like it feels like half the folks that say it are either afraid of saying anything positive about fat folks, or they've just had the idea that thats all we're good for nailed into their head for so long it feels like the dang default.
Just... call a fat character pretty, or cute, or handsome or beautiful or whatever else, I'm tired of huggable. ESPECIALLY cause while I'm a little more open to hugging folks I'm not as familiar with, Hattie's got a big ol' problem with physical contact when it comes to folks they don't know touching 'em or talking about touching their characters. Just... please, actually compliment a fat character rather than tip toeing around the idea that a fat person might actually be worthy of praise for once...

so, you know, a couple of things:
s2 is set in 2023 (ie around 4 years after s1)
voluntary uk driving tests were introduced in 1935, so around 90 years ago
bentley in the show is the 1933 model, and crowley has "had [her] from new"
im fairly certain im connecting dots here
this bitch

“but what if other people follow Aaron Bushnell’s example and go killing themselves?!”
if our leaders give a shit, they’ll answer his call to action and prevent that from happening, which is the whole goddamn point. he didn’t want more people following suit. he wanted to be the last fucking straw. if other people copy him, then you know who to blame, he TOLD us: the ruling class.
