Small but significant character moments that I actually really adore are from both the times we see the boys as tots. There is a reoccurrence that happens in both of them that I find so incredibly interesting.
For the turtle tot short, Splinter leaves the boys with weapons. In the short, Raph is the one who suggests they do “what Lou Jitsu would do” and Leo is the one who takes point when Splinter comes back to reprimand them. Leo, in taking point, is the one to defend them and get Splinter off their tails.
And then, in the flashback regarding the Kuroi Yōroi helmet, Raph is the one who grabs and throws “Skully” as a way to replace their missing ball which breaks it into pieces, but Leo is the one who speaks for the group and rushes into action to fix the teapot.
I love this for multiple reasons, but the biggest are how it shows that Raph has always been inclined toward the bold and fun and making the plans to include his brothers in what he loves and believes they’d love, whereas Leo has always been inclined to be the “Face” of the group and shoulder the attention even if it’s potentially negative all while coming up with on the spot attempts to fix the situation.

what's demon ragathas favorite food.
i need dinner ideas-
demon ragaths favrouite food is tomato soup and grilled cheese sandwich ! this is becuse nun pomni made it for her the first time (nun pomni cannot cook many things, she is not the best, sometimes she burns the grilled cheese or fucks up the tomato soup but to ragatah she will always enjly it as long as pomni makes it)
ALSO !!! ragatha has the worst hadndwriring ever, but nit in a scribbly way (like demon pomni does) but in a too fancy old ass cursive that is barely readable and pomni just has to learn it like its a new language

The Mammon we know from the first game is just so into being praised because it's been centuries since someone, anyone, treated him right, even his brothers, therefore anytime you tell him he's great, or you tell him he's done something right, he's basking in the compliments.
I feel like the Mammon from Nightbringer is entirely different (although still hungry for validation mind you) because he hasn't been as mistreated. I don't want to spoil a particular scene that made me sob, but we arrive basically before all the brothers call him worthless, scummy, or idiotic. He does something incredibly good and selfless of his own will, without any possible greedy gain, and we as the MC, give him validation before he starts to pity himself and before he devalues himself.
Also even before he does this, he has an idea that at first might seem greedy, and since we know him, we might start thinking he's doing it for the Grimms, but he does a lot to get validation, to be seen and accepted. If the MC wasn't here, I'm pretty sure he'd be ignored most of the time and turn into the Mammon we actually know, who isn't bad, but who has low self-esteem hidden behind his mask.

the teenage girl character that everyone hates bc omg she's sooo annoying & everyone knows that the worst thing a girl can be is kind of irritating so everyone hates her and thinks she's vile and irredeemable (she's 15) and then the show goes on and her personality changes as she grows up and those same people are like omggg they ruined her character she's so different from how she used to be how could they do this it's such a shame 💔💔
