There’s sth so fascinating to me about how Mathieu and Wout seem to be really chill and friendly and chatty with each other during the tour de france and then their usual slightly tense slightly awkward and rivalry-minded selves every other time of the year. Seasonal rivalry

Sannyo has a surprising amount of interest in branding.

clothing, betting markers, trays. Maybe it's like a modern casino? it would be funny to think she offers cups or coasters with that logo too.

It shouldn't come as much surprise that when Sannyo is looking for an appropriate logo for the Komakusa Den, she went with her namesake.

The "Komakusa" or Dicentra peregrina. Is a mountain flower that grows in rough environments. it's a flower associated with something unobtainable, a supreme beauty, or a prize out of reach.

A smart choice for a logo, it is an incredibly distinct looking flower after all. (Yet it's hairstyle is somehow incredibly familiar looking)

Peri started to laugh. It was a chuckle at first, but rapidly expanded into a huge belly laugh. The Doctor looked down at her, shining his torch into her eyes. `What's so funny?' he asked, genuinely affronted.

Peri stopped laughing with an exaggerated cough. 'Nothing. I just can't take...'

'When you've seen some of the spiders I have, then you can laugh'

Peri stifled a smirk. The Doctor stayed where he was. `What are you waiting for?'

Peri looked up to see what looked like any old average house spider sitting harmlessly in a web, some of the ubiquitous flies suspended in the silvery threads 'That's it? The guy who happily whips up revolutions and faces down megalomaniacs is scared of a teeny little spider?'

`Peri, you're not helping' said the Doctor dryly.

Peri held out a free hand and coaxed the spider into her palms and it dropped harmlessly from an invisible thread to a rung lower down, scuttling away into the shadows.
