Idk how obvious this is but I have like, three scrapped beginnings of lbl. The sky arc I already posted all I had of it, but this was going to be the new beginning, focused around warriors, but of course, the story got too complicated and I decided to just scrap the whole thing. I figured there’s no reason to hide it anymore. It’s not canon to the story but I’m sure y’all will enjoy seeing it anyways :)

I’ve been trying to avoid coming to this conclusion for a while but, as much as I love comics, I’m extremely insecure about my skillset in it. Like more insecure than I thought. If you were waiting for that Batfamily comic, this has been the reason why I haven’t done it yet. So I decided to stop doing comics for the time being until I gain my confidence, I don’t want to be anxious about drawing comics so I need to take my time with drawing again. Or at the very least start really small comics and then work my way up.

Anyway here’s a sketch of Gwen and Ganke…I have more sketches, lemme know if you wanna see the rest but do be warned…a couple of pages are just my Spider-Man ships.

Me: ugh working on my comic is going so slow, I hope I'm not just being lazy.

Also me: trying to learn sign language, studying animal anatomy and biology, researching heaps of political and social structure history, researching story structure and art technique, teaching myself 3D modeling in order to make the work easier all while building a full world and designs catalog so I have consistent visual language throughout the whole comic--

Me: nah definitely lazy...
