SKA pin: Quick History lesson because I had no idea what it was: definitely google more:

SKA is a music genre that originated in Jamaica. In the 70s a lot of Jamaicans immigrated to the UK. Punks and young Jamaican immigrants felt a sense of unity due to both being screwed over by the system. This led to 2 Tone SKA which mixed SKA with punk rock elements. While 2 Tone SKA is a genre, it was also a movement that focused on racial unity.

Rude Boy patch: In late 60s Jamaica RudeBoys were young “delinquents” who listened to rocksteady music. Term was used in England to refer to fans of SKA and 2 tone. Think the other insults used for punks that have been reclaimed.

Checker Print pin: Represents racial unity in the movement. 

Target patch: Symbol for the Mod subculture. Google this one to.

Union Jack pin (on bag) and patch: He sure is British

Smiley face pin: I believe it’s just a generic smiley face but it could be a logo. 

Unknown metal(?) pin: I can’t get a clear enough look at it to even begin to guess what it is. 

Unknown pin: I have no idea. The one between the metal one and the checker print. No a clue.

Unknown flag(?) pin: A flag with horizontal blue, yellow, and red stripes but I can’t find anything with those colors in that order.

Hey so fun idea; What if the forbidden knowledge was the knowledge of other worlds (that contradicts with celestias laws)? It’s already been stated that the sky is a lie, and teyvat is inside an egg shell type thing? Venti knows, but he’s a shade of a shade of Phanes, and the other one who we know knew is the goddess of flowers, the only seelie who retained her true form.

Venti brings them up in the manga in reference to sacrifice seeding life, and whether entering celestia made you a god. In essence, in other worlds to be a god was to sacrifice oneself, Pangu making the seas and rivers with his blood, etc, but the gods in favour of celestia openly act selfishly, with the conflict between phanes and the second descender, the cruel night forest mentioned in the Pale Princess, not to mention the whole colonisation thing. Gods define natrual law as seen in the story about that one guy from sumeru trying to make a glider without ventis blessing, so knowledge of these god’s selflessness would actively contradict teyvats natrual law. This may cause the whole corruption thing that happened in the desert nation.

Somehow confused the words “pickle” and “sausage” in the context of a well-known phrase. 

Inexplicably physically morphed into the Prosecution’s imprisoned brother briefly during a trial. This is never addressed. 

Said ‘Ah’ AT LEAST 12 times in Apollo Justice. I’m pretty sure I missed some 

“Eh heh heh, you want to know about my tool do you?”

Was placed on security for a major venue with literally no means of communication with backup?? She had to physically go and get people. This is not her fault.

She has been set on fire. This was also not her fault.

She’s canonically very clumsy. Allegedly breaks bulbs all the time. Did I mention I love her.

Momentarily considered going on a destructive rampage at a concert she was supposed to be security for.

Very nearly let a 15 year old girl convince her to eat potential evidence at a crime scene.

On the one hand, the entire situation of James Somerton’s plagiarism sucks and I hate it, because I liked his videos, and I liked how he presented stuff. I hate that it took a 4h video from a YouTuber I’d never watched before telling me he plagiarized basically everything for me to realize. It makes me feel pretty stupid, you know? That I just took information at face value.

But on the other hand, I can now air out my main issues with stuff he’s said in his videos.

1) only the boring gays survived the AIDS epidemic

For the record, I’m not the best when it comes to empathy, all related -pathies, and emotions. But Jesus fucking Christ how insensitive do you have to be to say that?! Like holy fuck, have a little compassion or sympathy or whatever the correct term is! For fucks sake. It’s not that hard! The people who’ve survived the epidemic have had to see so many of their friends and family die. They’ve lived to see so many deaths, deaths that the government saw and did nothing about. How disrespectful do you have to be to boil them down to “the boring ones”

2) comparing sex to broccoli in a “you won’t know you won’t like it unless you try it” way

Fuck right off with that. I say this as an asexual who has never had, and never intends to have, sex, but that’s not how it works for everyone. ASEXUALITY IS A SPECTRUM! EVERYONE HAS DIFFERENT EXPERIENCES! Some people have sex before they realize they’re asexual, some don’t. Acting like we all have the same experience is a gross generalization, one I especially hate to hear from someone who made an entire podcast episode thing on asexuality.

they mean the first one, take it off before you sleep because it’s risky to wear it for longer than 8 hours. as far as i’m aware, there’s nothing especially bad about laying down in a binder

Me when I defend Snape so much and remember that Snaters brush me off as just “some Snape apologist” even though I actually have so many criticisms of his awful actions, love his deep-rooted flaws and complexities, love to analyse how much his horrible childhood shaped him out to be for the rest of his life and how it turned him into what he hated most (a bully), and usually the only times I defend him are when his haters misconstrue what he did and make up fanon claims about him, not because I can’t handle when they say anything bad about a character I love, but because I simply can’t handle when people misunderstand his character (for better or for worse):

one thing i’m stuck on is why did ltx draw lg here? seems like a such an odd detail to add if there’s no importance. I guess it can be chen bin, but even the hair shape is more like lu guangs. Plus she drew her father with brown hair so i don’t see why she wouldn’t for cb.

It’s kinda tricky if ltx has even seen lg before… this is before they ask her to look into how he’s doing. did she only become aware of what ltc is truly doing during the chen bin possession? if not she would have seen lg when ql was possessed. but why not use the actual person who got possessed as the example? ql only received memories of ltx, cb and lg too. (but she said she got the memories of many people so it could have been off screen). In the fairytale sequence she wakes up and finds him hunting in the night (the rabbit family) but she also sees him hunting during the day. I can see the hunts during the nights being the ones symbolizing his killings to keep her in the dark. Honestly i’m leaning towards her only becoming aware during chen bins possession. I feel like she wouldn’t react well to him killing the other innocents either?

Then why would they even possess lg? if it was related to the whole qian jin/liu min plotline i’m sure that would have been shown. liu xiao was in contact with ltc to get liu mins phone so maybe he also had him snoop in on lg….. (so does ltc know lg memories… i feel like he would definitely use that as a jab towards lg, but maybe he was instructed not to look into lg memories by lx and only look at the present studio?)

or maybe i’m over reading it and they just decided to use him as easy representation for her powers. cxs or ql didn’t react to it being lg so.. still seems like a weird detail to add but it can be a red herring.

I’m only making this because I am a little anxious after seeing a post. If someone is having delusions and you are trying to help them. Do your best to not confirm or deny them.

If you’re confirming (ex: these meds make the bugs go away/well I’ll protect you from them) it could make the delusions much worse.

If you’re deny (ex: that’s impossible for that to happen/that’s crazy) it will make them not trust you.

Be there for that person. Do not leave them alone, especially for long periods of time. Be aware of their emotions. Be caring and supportive. Help them seek therapy.

one thing I genuinely appreciate about early jjk is that you have a group of villains/antagonists who are ostensibly on the same side but literally no one has the same goal. kenjaku’s set on evolving the human race for his own amusement, mahito is very much a child in that he’s basically just doing whatever feels best to him at any given time (which does mean he aligns with the others more often than not), jogo, hanami, and dagon are fighting to replace humanity and want to bring about a new age of curses using sukuna as their trump card… meanwhile sukuna wants nothing to do with any of them and is just biding his time until he can enact his own plans to resurrect himself. I’m always particularly fascinated by kenjaku aligning himself with jogo and the others because while yes he has his own agenda and is more or less using them it’s just funny because… what was he going to do if sukuna did agree to help jogo? like there goes humanity and all his test subjects. anyway I just think this was a fun dynamic. the only thing that could’ve made it more interesting was in fighting but there’s actually something really good about the sense of camaraderie, real or otherwise
