yep! based on damien echols, who narrowly avoided the death penalty in west memphis, arkansas because he took an Alford (guilty) plea for a murder he didn't commit. he was accused of killing three young boys when he was a teenager, and a lot of the evidence used against him relied on the fact that he was into "weird" stuff like dark music and the occult.

the paradise lost documentary series goes really in-depth on the case, and i watched all of them within one night. they're definitely made with some bias (especially #2 iirc), and contain pretty graphic photos and descriptions of the crime scene, so i don't recommend watching it without mental/emotional preparation for that. i'm not into "true crime" (actually like. vehemently hate it most of the time.) but i think the doc is really good at exploring corruption in the US criminal justice system, and that series is part of what saved him.

in june, he petitioned the court to take into account new DNA evidence to prove who killed the boys, but the state of arkansas denied him. like i'm glad to have learned about him because of the show, but man do i feel like they could've done better.

Greetings. I have been researching the Hermetic Order of The Golden Dawn’s Ceremonial Magick Rituals lately. I have been doing the Lesser Banishing of the Pentagram Ritual quite frequently and after the Invocation of Thoth [ Mercury ] I figured that I would do some more planetary energy work.

In the LBPR, you call out to 4 Archangels, the Archangels of the Elements. You say “ In Front of me Stands Raphael” and this is the Element of Air. Then you say “Behind me Stands Gabriel”, the Element of Water. Then you say “ On My Right Hand, Michael” the Element of Fire. The “ On My Left Hand, Uriel” the Element of Earth.

I’ve been watching a lot of Damien Echols YouTube videos recently. He is an incredible man and even better magician. I was inclined to read his books, and in his book “ Angels and Archangels,” he explains so much of what is going on when you perform these Ancient Rituals. He likes to also invoke the Archangel of Kether above him, Metatron. And the Archangel of Malkuth below, Sandalphon. This adds a lot of energy to the LBRP and any other Pentagram Ritual. He included in his book, the Sigils for these 6 Archangels that I will include here:

Come on, y’all. The necklace was only tested for blood type! BLOOD! TYPE! It could have been Stevie Branch’s blood or Jason Baldwin’s blood. It’s not a both situation here. They had the same BLOOD TYPE!

And forgive me for not believing the prosecutions theory about that necklace. If I’m not mistaken it was Fogelman’s son that discovered these tiny blood spots. Why in the hell was his son handling the evidence in the first place? And why in the hell did the lab not see this before? So much incompetence or outright corruption. Ugh.

Also, for everyone screaming about Damien not wanting to test that necklace? The whole sample was used up in 94. There’s nothing to test now, ffs. Damien and Jason shared that necklace. I don’t even think it was on Damien when he was arrested. I think it was Jason. The reports on their belongings were a mess when they were arrested. And both were wearing necklaces at the time.

All this to say, letitgooooo. I didn’t include this in my last post because it was not presented to the jury. Nor were Damien’s mental health records. So it was not used as evidence against them. It doesn’t help your case of guilt.
