Hmmm Tempest is pretty close to Rebecca, they’re like siblings in a way. He’s very protective of her, and made a loft in his library so she could do her own work and look after Rosebud. The two spend a lot of time tending quietly to the garden and recording things they’re told about

Thinking about it, Blue parts always have some sort of charge they’re watching over or get closer to. Hail with Bunny, Flour with Dosy, Guard Flower and Wilt.. it seems obvious to me that Tempest and Rebecca are close, because why would they not be?

🌺 Describe one part of your inner world.

The Forest is someplace I don’t think of often, a bit like the Wheat Field in that it’s an in-between place between the two systems, the difference being that it exists in the same world as all the rest (unlike the wheat field, which exists somewhere separate from what I know?)

The Forest is made up mostly of very tall spruce trees, and it climbs up the side of a mountain that runs behind the Cottage. It’s always dark and lush in the forest, though the grounds tend to be somewhat bare considering how dark it gets. Its a friendly darkness, like cool shade on a hot summer’s day. There are faint remnants of cobbled pathways that look old and worn away, covered mostly by moss and lichen. In small clearings there’s abandoned metal tables and chairs, and a stuffed rabbit comes to take orders for sweets and drinks when you sit down at one.

There’s a special greenhouse tunnel nestled into the ground, where Cerberus used to lead little ones through to the back of the Cottage also, I don’t know if it’s used much anymore

Somewhere there’s a very old bridge that runs over a gentle river. Cerberus had it hidden behind an invisible barrier, but since stepped aside when he took Nette and Hailstorm under his wing. On the other side of the river and a ways away is a large clearing with glaring sun and tall weeds, and in the middle of it is an old stone well.

Somewhere in the forest is also Tempest’s library, but it changes locations when it’s found

frankly, the people whose kneejerk reaction to bisan asking for a global strike form the 21st-28th is to say that it takes years to organize a general strike are really unhelpful! no one is saying otherwise, but palestine will be a smoking crater if we all wait for years to do anything - bisan is asking us to do something now. Like are we only supposed to do something if we can do it perfectly??? At some point it’s a valid critique about the work that goes into social movement, and at another point I feel like some people are just trying to absolve themselves from not putting any effort into observing a week of economic inaction.

like idk! I get it, okay! People have bills to pay that don’t magically go away for a strike, we don’t have nearly enough social infrastructure in place to support people to fully stop going to work for a week. But fuck, dude! Stop immediately responding in such a defeatist way! Cut out unnecessary purchases! Try to shop local! Put more effort into promoting Palestinian voices online! Attend a protest, call a local rep, do something!

I just wanna say bc I KNOW you're somewhere on tumblr, to the teenage girl who attended Take Your Kid To Work Day at an office building in Ontario, Canada circa 2013 and had a conversation with a middle aged woman in which you showed her your Black Veil Brides fanart and fanfics and ship content and told her about different fanfic tropes including a/b/o verse bc she happened to know who Panic! at The Disco and Fallout Boy were and thus you felt the need to show her your bandblr ship art, that was my fucking mother and I had to clarify all that to her including looking my mother in the eye and trying to explain a/b/o verse without sounding like a lunatic.

Hmmmm

Flour and the Docile(Dosy subsystem) are inseparable and they have been for a veryy long time. I don’t really know how to describe it exactly, but they have kind of a begrudging/toxic soulmates bond where Flour will be more aggressive as she needs(or perceives as she needs). He hates her, resents her, but will always protect her, and she can always hold onto him. Its definitely not the most ideal, but its comforting in a way because thats what Dosy perceives as an equal partnership to her (everything outside of that, like with R and with Chime feel inconceivably good, too good for her really)

Its special to Dosy because Flour’s rough handle on her’s pushed her through the last year of being with the family and moving out. Its the only way we could’ve gotten through it, I think. Its an old way to cope but its solid

-With Dosybear(Dosy 1), their relationship is on equal ground. She is the Bridge(between the two systems) and his is the Gate(that keeps her from being trampled on). They are platonic business partners and if Flour stirs shit she stands her ground pretty firmly now

-With Dosy 2(Maybear? She wants something May, because Dosy 2 holds three different May months as being significant to her, but she struggles to have a name), Flour is more romantically entangled, because he handles most of her attachment (which is the disregarded ‘horrible’ trauma sludge that makes Dosys unworthy). He drags her through the wheat field and lets her regress quietly behind him

-With Dosy 3(Maybelline), Flour doesn’t really engage with, he keeps her locked in a dusty attic in an old farmhouse. We dont know a lot about her outside her being a small porcelain doll

-With Dosy 4(Middy, according to a dream) he feels the need to protect her, also dragging her along the same way he does with Dosy 2, in part because Dosy 4’s legs hardly work and come apart easily. He can’t bring himself to be harsh with her unless she asks specifically

☀️ How do you all prefer to communicate?

By listening to music and drawing! Our favorite way to communicate is through comics, so writing back and fourth to eachother with added visuals

🍁 How do your parts get their names?

Sometimes they come with names that feel familiar(like mr. H, I knew when I heard it that he was that ‘imaginary friend’ I had as a kid). Sometimes they have names from old characters(Dosy, Taiga). A lot of us choose names or have Chime or R help pick out new names, because the old ones have negative connotations (Sick Bunny->Venus, (childhood nickname from Chris)->Cinna) or we just didnt have names to begin with (none of the Flowers had names, because we didnt consider ourselves to have enough personhood for names)

This... this is a whole different kind of psychic damage here. When nightmares got Marcille, we get to knew that her's biggest fear is outliving her friends. This isn't even canon probably, but look at this. This isn't a "I don't want my friends to die" kind of dream. This is a "I'm terrified of loosing my daughters, of something killing them, and being incapable of stopping it" kind of dream. It's so simple yet it explains perfectly the whole of chilchucks character. He loves, he cares, deeply. But he, or doesn't acknowledges, or doesn't know what to do with that knowledge.

Besides that. Someone had to wake him up after this. Imagine the devastation in this man after he wakes up. He just saw his three little babys murdered corpses (or maybe he saw them die, wich isn't better). He would possibly not talk about it, and that would worry the hell out of the party, because we'll, they see him all down and only one of them knows what he saw. Imagine being the one to pull him from that nightmare. Seeing this man, usually so composed, fuking staring with tears and terror in his eyes to the composes of what you can only assume are his daughters. It would be heartwrenching.
