Hey! so if you’re still accepting CR songs, I listened to “She Keeps Me Warm” by Mary Lambert the other day and man, I didn’t think I was super invested in any c2 ships yet, but GOD it just gave me some kinda FEELINGS about Beau/Jester and I needed to share. (also i’m not caught up on c1 yet but I feel like Kima/Allura could work too because it’s just such a sweet and precious ladies-loving-ladies song, hell ye)

OH NO there are a lot of my favourite emotional gay songs tonight and!!! Fuck!!!! Thank you!!

I definitely see it for Beaujester, with them taking care of each other, being the constant in each other’s lives, their room being a home they build together: “She says I smell like safety and home.” And I can totally imagine Jester badgering Beau with all these questions:

“What’s your middle name?/ Do you hate your job?/ Do you fall in love too easily?/ What’s your favourite word?/ You like kissing girls?”

(EDIT: I was so caught up in how much I love this song that I forgot that it’s already on the list for them!! Buuuut it still works well.)

Spoilers for c1, but I think it works for Kimallura, too!! Especially after they’ve gotten back together during the Chroma Conclave Arc and decided that they never want to be apart again: “I named both of her eyes Forever and Please Don’t Go.”

As some of you already know Pocahontas is my favorite princess. Today’s #disneyboundchallenge prompt is Disney Heroine day but it is also International Women’s Day. So with that I have chosen to post a bound of Pocahontas. . . While the movie itself may be historically and politically incorrect the main message is not: Be open to other cultures. Language, color, and race do not matter because we are all human. Learning about and accepting different cultures will make you a more empathetic and knowledgeable citizen of the world. . . . Try to understand each others differences. Don’t be afraid of or vilify someone just because they’re different from you. We have more in common than we know. . . . Another message is standing up for what you believe in. It takes courage and doing the right thing can literally save lives. . . . With everything that’s happening right now, here in the U.S., I feel like a lot of people today need to understand these important messages. . . Even with all of its faults this was the first time I saw on the big screen someone that looked like me. Representation matters. Happy third Advent Sunday everyone :3 it's snowing right now where I am so it's a perfect day to let Elsa show herself!

I just couldn't go a year without repainting any Elsa and this one is very special to me as I still love her coronation look the most and I only ever did one disneystore version forever ago which isn't in my collection anymore.

The before doll was a OFA Elsa that I bought for a buck at the fleamarket 3 or 4 years ago.. It's not the exact doll seen in the before pic, I just didn't take a proper before picture back then. But mine didn't come with clothes and part of her hair was chopped off so I had to reroot her. Due to the fact that I still had the coronation dress from the first deluxe set she just had to be in her coronation look :3

This summer I finally managed to repaint her, so she's been finished a while ago. But December seemed to be a more fitting time to post her :3

Frozen was such an important movie for me. I love Disney and I love many of the heroines, even when the movies are a bit problematic. But there are so many things that Frozen reverted, and I felt that Disney had finally understood many of the problems of these movies and was trying to solve them (and then Moana came out, and the world was a perfect place for a brief moment). If Disney continues in this direction, Frozen is going to be the first of a new kind of princess movies, much like Beauty and the Beast was (another favorite of mine).
