Welcome to Radiation & Echos

A DSMP ask blog set in an AU where the nuke was just a little stronger than expected. Tommy and Dream are now stuck in the same limbo, which happens to be Pandora's Vault (before the nuke, of course).

Sometimes either Tommy or Dream wake up in limbos belonging to other members who were taken out by the nuke but it usually fixes itself in a few hours.

There is one new little quirk though. There are voices.

it's you, you are the voices, ask questions.

1-2 posts will be every Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday 9PM - 2AM (at the latest) UTC+2.

The post amount may change depending on how many questions are submitted.

the prophecy-echo

A long time ago a prophecy was edged into stone walls. It would state that 4 divine beings would take on mortal form and bring hope into the world. The harbinger of chaos. The guardian of animals. The child of nature. And the purple star. (Lore morsel of the day is more of a clarification. The 4 divine beings taking on mortal form means that they're all gods just have their power sealed. Tommy's the god of chaos and youth, Ranboo's the god of animals, Tubbo's the god of agriculture and nature, and Purpled's the god of stars and constellations. )

Las Nevadas

Ooo.

So it’s no secret that c!Quackity cares a lot about appearances, mostly after the Pogtopia v Manberg arc and his relationship with c!Schlatt. I think this influenced a lot about Las Nevadas.

I mean, he literally made a fake desert. He has got to care about the look of it to a massive degree or he wouldn’t have cared about the biome.

It payed off. Las Nevadas is easily one of the prettiest faction/country on the server, if not the prettiest overall. And comparing it to factions like the greater DSMP or L’Manberg, it looks very put together in comparison.

But Las Nevadas feels like a movie set at best and a picture from a holiday magazine at worst, and I LOVE THAT about it. Because it adds a lot to the weight of the story - there’s no community there, likely due to the way c!Quackity got people o join. Las Nevadas doesn’t feel lived in like L’Manberg or like a found family setting. Because.. it isn’t.

And I think that’s really sick.
