When you turn around and find Katsuki standing behind you in the kitchen, you nearly drop your breakfast— three healthy scoops of vanilla ice cream sitting in a small ceramic bowl decorated with bunnies.
Maybe he won't notice, you think— you hope. You scurry past him, doing your best to seem nonchalant, like having ice cream at eight o'clock in the morning is the most natural thing in the world.
"Oi!" he half-yells and you jump, knowing from the tone of his voice that you've been caught. "What the fuck is that?"
You whirl around and find him glaring at your bowl like it’s done something to offend. Actually, knowing Katsuki, it probably has. You smile sheepishly, "Breakfast?"
Katsuki's eyes flicker up to yours, then back down to your bowl. His mouth twists into a scowl as he says, "That's fucking ice cream."
"...and?" you ask, tempting fate itself with your question.
"That's not fucking breakfast," he grounds out as if it should be obvious.
At this moment, there are two choices left open to you: concede and probably put your ice cream back in the freezer to be enjoyed at a more Katsuki approved time or to defend your choice.
You choose the latter.
"Sure it is," you argue, your tone light in an attempt to make it seem like you're not picking a fight with Katsuki who is most definitely a fan of the traditional Japanese breakfast. "Whatever you eat first thing in the morning counts as breakfast, right?"
He growls and you really should have known that he wouldn't let you off the hook with that kind of explanation. "You know what I mean, brat!"
You frown and shoot back. "I wanted something sweet!"
"Then fuckin' make pancakes or something!"
"No! That's too much effort!" you argue. While you can agree that some American breakfast offerings would definitely satisfy your sweet tooth, all of them require way more effort than you're willing to put in on a weekday morning when you have work.
Katsuki scowls and you wonder if maybe, just maybe he'll make you pancakes. If he makes you pancakes, that would be the best thing ever, actually. You wouldn't mind giving up your ice cream for a taste of Katsuki's amazingly fluffy and soft pancakes. You know he knows this too, with the way he grins menacingly at you. Were you in the right mind, and not thinking of Katsuki's delicious homemade pancakes, you would have realized the truth of what's about to happen, but you're not and Katsuki lifts the bowl from your hands and deposits it in the freezer.
In your foolishness, you make your way to the table and wait, your mind filled with images of pancakes— stacks of warm pancakes slathered in slabs of melty butter and drenched in luscious rivers of maple syrup. You’re practically salivating at the thought.  A few moments later Katsuki deposits another bowl before you and…
It’s yogurt.
A modest amount of creamy white yogurt in a bowl, topped with an arrangement of fresh berries topped with a glimmering drizzle of honey with a sprinkle of granola. Katsuki’s not the type to go all out on plating, so you know that he tried here, but…
“These aren’t pancakes,” you say flatly, betrayed.
"Y'really think I've got time to make fucking pancakes?" Katsuki retorts, ready to dig into his own bowl of fruit and yogurt.
You glance at the clock and he's got to leave in the next hour and you know that Katsuki's homemade pancakes are at least a two hour affair.
"...guess not," you grumble, pouting. You lift the spoon and thank him for the breakfast but before you take a bite, you decide to ask. "...what's the difference between this and ice cream anyway? Other than the toppings."
" 's healthier, you idiot!" he hisses. "Now shut up and eat or you'll be late!"
"...but Katsuki," you whimper pathetically. "I want pancakes now. Take responsibility for deceiving me with the promise of pancakes."
He shoots you a glare but you ignore it and give him your best puppy dog eyes. The two of you have a staring contest that lasts a couple minutes and finally, finally, he rips his gaze from yours with the annoyed click of his tongue and you know that that means he's lost.
"Fucking fine! I'll make you pancakes on our next day off!" he relents and you cheer. "But I better not fucking catch you trying to have ice cream for breakfast again!"
"Okay!" you agree cheerfully, finally digging into the yogurt bowl Katsuki’s made for you, pleased that there will be pancakes.
Even though it’s going to be a whole week until you get them.

As someone who loves sweets, what fine desserts exist across Tamriel? I’ll bet the bosmer get super creative! And the Khajiit are sure winners.
Aside from candies and sweets, desserts across Tamriel reflect local tastes and vary in complexity, flavour, and texture.
Altmer
Dessert in Summerset is always served cool or chilled, and is bound to be just the right amount of flavourful and refreshing. Take, for example, the famous sorbet cups served everywhere from street corners in Alinor to posh dining tables. Some of my favourite flavours are candied cherry blossom, jasmine with dark chocolate chips, and mint with lime zest.
Argonians
Nothing beats the popping "onde-onde" balls beloved by Black Marsh residents. These sticky "cakes" are made of glutinous rice, and have a liquid coconut or palm sugar centre, and are liberally coated in shredded coconut. While small and easy to eat in a bite, the glutinous rice does get quite filling, so four is usually enough for dessert!
Bosmer
Custard, in its most perfect, creamy, glorious, silky form, is one of the staples of Valenwood desserts. Made with sugar mammoth cream and eggs, these lightly sweet custards are served as is, chilled, or topped with bacon bits for some crunch. My personal favourite is the non-Green Pact version of a creme brulee, where custard is drizzled with moon sugar and blasted with a flame spell until caramelised and crisp on top.
Bretons
The humble chocolate pastry is probably every Breton's favourite everyday treat, and for good reason. Sweet dark chocolate enveloped by buttery puff pastry is oh so simple yet oh so decadent. Best served with a cup of tea or coffee.
Dunmer
A traditional Dark Elf dessert loved by all from Mournhold to Windhelm is a deliciously weird "cake" made from a layer of sweetened glutinous saltrice, and topped with an equally-sized firm layer of marshmerrow custard. Served chilled, these "kueh salat" are enormously addictive and satisfying. One of my favourite desserts.
Imperials
Every Imperial dessert is enjoyable in my book, especially those containing a drop or two of something boozy. Take, for example, the humble tiramisu of Bruma. Almond and coffee and all things flavourful make up this rich, mascarpone-based cake, made traditionally with almond biscuits soaked in amaretto as a base. Topped with a mound of glorious cocoa powder, it's a sumptuous delight of a dessert.
Khajiit
Miso...caramel? Umami fermented soy bean paste meets rich moon sugar caramel for the ultimate flavour fusion that I certainly wasn't prepared for! Big batches of Miso caramel are always on hand in any confectioner's kitchen. It goes in everything from ice cream and cheesecake to being mixed with dulce de leche for an outrageously decadent pudding. On that note, I'll have one miso caramel pudding with a miso caramel cream coffee, thanks.
Nords
Steamed treacle pudding gets my vote as one of Skyrim's best desserts. Dense and gooey, and sometimes even drenched in mead, these puddings are served hot at every tavern (rivalling Breton sticky toffee pudding). Topped with whipped cream, the rich treacle is a real treat when poured over and infused into the rich butter pudding!
Orcs
Sweet potato pudding is a set custard infused with lots and lots of roasted sweet potatoes! Mashed and mixed into a plain creme patissiere, then swirled through with a spiced caramel swirl, these ganache-like treats are simply to die for (and you just might, if you try nick this off an Orc).
Redguards
Cardamom and saffron are ubiquitous in Redguard cooking, and this includes desserts. "Rasmalai", a dish made from fried, spongy patties of cottage cheese soaked in cardamon syrup, floating in a thick and sweet saffron and cardamom milk sauce. While it sounds a bit odd, rasmalai is a true treat for the senses, and is a rich and flavourful end to any meal.

Just imagine…..
Laying back on Mikey’s bed, you are naked and at his mercy. Your hands are bound together and tied to the headboard. Mikey has a tray on the nightstand filled with cookie icing squeeze tubes, cans of whipped cream, chocolate syrup, caramel sauce, an assortment of different candies and sprinkles.
Mikey’s grin is pure sin as he runs a finger down your torso. First, he grabs the cookie icing. Being an artist by nature, he uses the icing to create a picture over your bared skin. Swirls and various Christmas images are littered along your stomach and chest. Little ornaments, bows and bells, but the the best part is when he makes one breast look like Rudolph. Your nipple is topped with a red hard candy to represent the reindeer’s nose. Mikey hums his approval as he looks over your top half.
“Good thing I’m ‘horngry’ tonight! You’re a feast, my little sugar plum!” he giggles.
You lift a skeptical brow, “‘Horngry?’”
“Yeah, like hangry except you’re horny and hungry instead of angry and hungry,” he explains.
Only my Mikey, you think to yourself. You squeal in surprise as he starts adding cold whipped cream to your body, erecting goosebumps all over. He sits back and looks over his masterpiece and grabs his phone to take a quick pic. Then, the artist rubs his hands together gleefully.
“Time to eat!”
The next hour is spent with Mikey slowly licking off every bit of sugary sweetness off your naked body. Your nipples are painfully hard and when he finally sucks them, you nearly cry in relief. He closes his eyes and moans at the taste of your chocolate syrup drenched pussy, and proceeds to leave not one millimeter untouched by his talented tongue. Your hips roll as he eats you out expertly. You cum beautifully in his mouth, all writhing pleasure and low moans, and he savors every drop.
You pant afterwards, “God, Mikey, that was incredible.”
He grins and then kisses you deeply, tasting of you but much sweeter.
“You can thank Donnie. He gave me the idea from licking the icing off the pop tarts and then putting them back in the box.” 🧡

Ambrosia [1] - Obey Me! Barbatos, Lucifer, Diavolo x Reader
NSFW
*For the sake of convenience, the reader is referred to as "MC" where applicable*
---
PART I
"Don't you ever read warning labels?"
You started working at the Demon King’s castle a few months ago, mainly because you wanted more Grim to spend. It was both for yourself and Lucifer, since you didn’t want to freeload at the House of Lamentation forever, even if the softhearted hardass would probably have let you. Workaholic no. 2, despite how much it pained him, was the one to usually assign you jobs, although Diavolo had made a few requests. For better or worse, Diavolo compensated you fairly rather than lavish you with Grim you didn’t earn.
Naturally, that was at your insistence.
“MC, are you here?” You turn your head up from the corner you’ve been cleaning to hear a set of familiar shoes clacking against the floor. You half-wonder if you should respond, given that you’re working, but before you can commit to a decision, Lucifer appears in your vision. “There you are.”
“Something you want?” you ask, fully turning towards him, and you watch his eyes flick across your uniform for a moment before he steps closer. “Lucifer?” You ask as he closes the distance between you, until your shoes are practically touching. You can smell the soap on his skin—he must have taken a shower recently.
“That isn’t supposed to be a bow,” he says, and you watch as he unloops the piece of white cloth around your neck before expertly knotting it and tucking the end of the tie into your uniform.
“...Barbatos said it was fine,” you reply, even as you look up at Lucifer’s red eyes.
“Then I’m disappointed in him.”
“Rude. Anyway, what do you want? I’m kind of cleaning right now, so if it’s not important, then I’m going to get back to my job.” Lucifer smiles, and you melt just a little bit at the sweetness of it.
“I think I’m starting to rub off on you,” he remarks, almost chuckling. “In any case, Diavolo bought Cubirian Chocolate, and he requested that both of us enjoy it with him.”
“Cubirian?” you ask, even as Lucifer starts leading you away from your work area and towards the sitting room Barbatos had been dusting this morning. “Is it special?” Lucifer nods.
“It’s notoriously difficult to make.”
“More or less than macarons?”
“More,” he says after a moment. Well, I guess I have to try it then, you think to yourself as you let Lucifer steer you into the room where Diavolo awaits, and he immediately rises to happily greet you.
You expect to see a box of chocolates on the table, so you’re quite disappointed to find four glasses sitting on the table and a bottle of demonus. Did they just lure you here to drink with them?
However, as you sit down and Diavolo uncorks the bottle, you see Barbatos wheeling in a cart, upon which seems to be... ice cream toppings?
“My lord, are you sure about this?” Barbatos asks, even as Diavolo starts pouring into all of the glasses, the deep red liquid scattering the dim light across the table as it splashes against the walls of the glass. Come to think of it, these glasses are quite large. “It’s barely evening.”
“It’s fine,” Diavolo replies, waving away Barbatos’ concern. “We can relax once in a while, right?”
“That is true, but...” Barbatos hesitates before he eventually gives in to Diavolo’s pleading expression and pops open a container that immediately sends the smell of rich chocolate spilling into the air. Your mouth starts to water, even as Barbatos starts to scoop out the ice cream and plop it into the glasses, garnishing them with dark chocolate pieces and cherries. He lines the rim of each glass with some kind of bright red syrup which slowly runs down the outside until it looks like the dark floats are bleeding.
“So, spiked demonus float?” you joke as you take yours, only to be surprised that the glass isn’t cold—it’s warm. That wasn’t ice cream?
“That’s quite close,” Diavolo muses, even as he takes a long spoon from Barbatos and splits off a piece of the Cubirian chocolate, drenching it in demonus before he puts it to his mouth. “Cubirian chocolate cream has a very similar texture, although it’s usually spiced with crushed pixie wings. Try it; I’m sure you’ll be surprised.”
Eventually, you bring a piece of the chocolate to your lips, and you almost gasp as it touches your tongue. It’s tinglingly spicy and surprisingly hot to the touch, the rich alcoholic taste of the demonus blending with the sweetness of the chocolate. It’s creamy and a faint bitterness lingers in your mouth once it’s disappeared, the warmth pleasantly traveling through your body.
“Good, isn’t it?” Diavolo prods with a grin, even as he urges Barbatos to enjoy his. “Sir Lascivi recommended this to me when I bought them, and I must say he wasn’t wrong about the combination.”
“You will have to send him my thanks,” Lucifer replies with a faint smile, even as he tenderly spoons out a small morsel from his glass, this one with a piece of dark chocolate. “He’s outdone himself.”
“Agreed,” Barbatos joins, and you can’t help but share their smiles as you enjoy the dessert in the peace of the castle.
“So,” you say as you’re finishing up. “Who is Sir Lascivi?”
“Hm? He’s a friend of mine. He used to be a pastry chef, but he decided his passion lies in chocolate. It’s quite an endearing story, really. Before he got married, his then-girlfriend was the reason he started doing it.” A guy making chocolate for his significant other... definitely more sweet than store bought chocolate, you think with an idle smile.
“My lord,” Barbatos says, and I notice his voice has become somewhat strained. “By any chance... is that Lussuria demonus?”
“Hm? Yes; that was the brand that he recommended.” Barbatos pales. “Why? What’s wrong?”
“Sir Lascivi...” he groans, looking at the ceiling and covering his face. “My lord, did you forget what happens when you mix the Lussuria family’s demonus with cocoa solids?”
Diavolo pauses.
“...ah.”
“What happens?” Lucifer asks, apparently just as confused as you.
“This is hard to say,” Diavolo begins, placing his palms against each other and pressing his fingertips to his mouth. He briefly looks at you before he closes his eyes. “But, well, you might feel the need to consult Dr. Jackoff in a few minutes.”
“A doctor? It’s that bad?” you ask, even as Lucifer stiffens.
“Yes,” Lucifer answers. “It’s quite bad, actually. In fact, we should probably quarantine you for safety reasons.”
“Wha—Why just me?!” you ask, even as the guys agree and start pulling you in the direction of an empty room. “Shouldn’t I see him too??”
“No, you’ll be fine as long as you aren’t around us,” Lucifer assures, but you stop him from shutting the door in your face.
“Lucifer, you can’t just leave it there!” you protest. “How much trouble are you three in?!”
“It’s nothing to be worried about, MC,” Barbatos interjects with a smile, even as he steps in front of you, holding the door. “Just a minor mishap that we can have solved soon.” And with that, Barbatos closes the door before you can get a word in edgewise.

A lemon slice adds a solar flare to the world that once was.
Capitol Crumbs Bakery
Sweet and Tart Catcake - by Virginia

May the Odds be Ever In Your Flavor

This burger is made to look like a city night, in all its glowing glory. Patties can be made of beef or beans, but either way, they'll still come out bright blue — as will all the toppings.
The Freezer Burn - by Rainy
Inspired by the greens that entice so many tributes in the food court, pick a healthy and bright tasting salad! topped with a hard-boiled egg and fresh green tomatoes. So good it’s worth freezing for.

Feel as triumphant as a Victor while dining on this rich chocolate ganache poised on a soft bed of edible gold flakes, with caramel-chocolate ice cream, gold cookie crumble, and a healthy topping of whipped cream and delicate chocolate wafers on top.
The Bloodslide - by Greta
This update on a classic Cup of Dirt features crushed sour gummy people six feet under a layer of Black Forest ice cream (dark chocolate with cherry swirls), a layer of chocolate cookie crumbles, a layer of chocolate pudding, a thin layer of raspberry syrup (or, for the more alcoholically minded, raspberry liqueur), and chocolate shavings. The dish is then topped with a scoop of raspberry ripple ice cream, dark chocolate ice cream, chocolate covered marshmallows, and spun chocolate in a shape reminiscent of the Cornucopia.

Caramelised Banana Sundae
Tumblr media
It might seem early in the season to be enjoying a frozen treat, and no doubt my girlfriend would remind me how only last October I thought it a tad early for so many Aucklanders to be licking ice cream cones left and right when we were there --by the time we were in Rotorua though, I’d given into temptation and I was happily tucking into ice cream, hokey pokey mainly, for the rest of our holiday! Thus, as I found out and philosophically accepted then, when one fancies ice cream, one fancies ice cream. And there is absolutely no good reason not to enjoy it, whatever the weather or the season. Even more so when it’s generously drenched in hot chocolate sauce like this simple yet blissfully indulgent Caramelised Banana Sundae! Happy Wednesday!
Ingredients (serves 1):
1 tablespoon (about 2) almonds
3 tablespoons demerara sugar
3 tablespoons water
1/2 large, just ripe banana
20 grams/ ounce good quality dark chocolate (at least 65% cocoa solids)
1/4 cup water
2 generous scoops vic
Heat a small skillet or frying pan over a high flame. Add almonds, and toast until fragrant and browned, a few minutes. Remove from the heat and transfer almonds to a small plate; set aside.
Reduce heat to medium.
Sprinkle demerara sugar in the skillet, and stir in water. Return over the heat, and cook, stirring often until sugar is completely dissolved, and mixture is just syrup-y.
Once the almonds have cooled, chop them roughly with a sharp knife. Set aside.
Peel banana and cut into slices. Add banana slices to the demerara syrup, and cook, a couple of minutes or so, until glazed and coated.
Transfer caramelised banana slices to serving cup or bowl, leaving remaining sugar syrup in the skillet. Set aside.
Return skillet over the flame. Roughly chop dark chocolate, and stir it into the remaining syrup until melted. Gradually add as little or as much water as needed until chocolate sauce is silky and smooth.
Top warm caramelised banana slices with two generous scoops. Drizzle with hot chocolate sauce, and sprinkle with chopped toasted almonds.
Enjoy Caramelised Banana Sundae immediately.

International Waffle Day
Start your day off right with a warm and crispy breakfast treat topped with your favorite fruits, syrups, and whipped cream.
It’s virtually impossible to completely understand the significance of the waffle unless a person has tried one themselves! Waffles are certainly memorable, especially if they are made to perfection: crispy on the outside with a soft, doughy center. Covered in powdered sugar, sweet syrup, or jam, it’s actually the divots that make the whole thing absolutely melt in the mouth.
This day offers a fun, interesting history that spans cultures and geography. So it’s time to get started celebrating International Waffle Day!
How to Celebrate International Waffle Day
What a fun and easy day to enjoy! It’s uncomplicated and absolutely delicious.
Waffles are an easy treat to make and a yummy one to eat, so be sure to join in on the celebration. Consider these ways to bring attention to this fabulous day:
Try Waffles from Different Cultures
Go on a waffle adventure! Take this day to explore the vast array of flavors that the world of the waffle has to offer:
Tuck into American waffles topped with fried chicken or, alternatively, stacked and drenched in sugary maple syrup for breakfast. Don’t forget a slice or two of crispy bacon!
Enjoy a Brussels or Liège Belgian Waffle that is thicker and dusted with confectioner’s sugar or coated in chocolate or cream. The batter is made with egg whites to build volume, and the waffles are sometimes cooked with pearl sugar that adds to the richness and flavor.
A standard since the 1600s (and the place where the day came from) Swedish waffles are similar to other waffles but are made in special irons that create four heart shapes. These are served with a dollop of cream, fresh berries, or berry compote.
Or travel east and sample a soft and sweet Hong Kong waffle laced with the flavors of peanut butter or honey melon.
It would be easy to waffle on forever about all of the tasty options that are available when it comes to eating this delicious treat!
Get Waffles at a Restaurant
Many different waffle restaurants offer special deals for an important event such as International Waffle Day! Check out local restaurants to see what they have on offer, such as:
Waffle House, located in 25 US states, typically offers special deals or coupons for this day.
International House of Pancakes, with locations in the US, Canada, Ecuador, Mexico, Guatemala, and Peru, offers a Chicken and Waffles plate that is extremely popular.
Huddle House, a chain throughout the southern US states, has been known to offer a International Waffle Day deal that includes a side of bacon or sausage free with the purchase of waffles.
Check out other waffle restaurants in nearby locations.
Get Creative with the Waffle Iron
Waffle irons don’t have to be just for basic, boring batter! They can be used to make creative treats such as these:
Place refrigerated cinnamon roll dough, one in each of the four squares of the iron, close, and cook until done.
Use different colors of food coloring to turn ho-hum waffles into exciting rainbow fun.
Pour cupcake batter into the waffle iron and cook as usual. After removing and cooling, create “sandwiches” with canned frosting or ice cream.
Use normal waffle batter, but add bacon pieces and egg to the middle, top with more batter, and cook. A breakfast waffle sandwich!
History of International Waffle Day
International Waffle Day began in Scandinavia as Våffeldagen. It was actually a bit of a blunder that led to this being waffle day at all. Although it seems serendipitous now, the original problem was due to confusion between the Swedish “Vårfrudagen” meaning “Our Lady’s Day” which is a religious holiday that falls in late March, 9 months before Christmas. Over time, the pronunciation for the religious celebration was slurred and eating waffles naturally entered into the picture.
While it developed gradually over time, so no one knows exactly what year it began, waffles have been around in Sweden since at least the 1600s (or longer) so it stands to reason that International Waffle Day is not a modern occurrence. Now, International Waffle Day is celebrated in not only Sweden but Norway and Denmark, as well as other European countries. The day in March historically marks the beginning of spring and people of other nationalities have begun to adopt the day as well.
The alternative International Waffle Day celebrated on August 24th, began in the United States and honors the anniversary of the patenting of the first US waffle iron in 1869. This waffle iron was invented by Cornelius Swarthout of Troy, New York.
So, as it turns out, waffles are such a popular world-wide phenomenon, that they merit two days in the calendar to celebrate them. But it’s likely that no one is going to complain about that!
Whichever day is picked to honor it, however, the waffle is certainly deserving of celebration. The remarkable dough-based gridded cakes can be eaten for breakfast, lunch, and dinner; as a snack; or for dessert.
(And then there is that whole other business of the potato waffle, a different thing altogether but still tasty in its own right.)
In any case, this day is a great one for learning about and celebrating anything and everything that has to do with waffles!
Waffles at the World’s Fair in New York
A convenient food for eating on the go, Belgian waffles were officially introduced to the American people at the world’s fair in 1964, held in Syracuse, New York. Maurice and Rose Vermersch and their daughters, a Belgian family, made waffles that were different from American waffles in that they were crispy, fluffy, and airy. The treat was an instant hit and the family served an average of 2500 waffles per day!
These sweet snacks were originally meant to be called ‘Brussels Waffles’, as they are a popular feature in the Belgian capital. But the family quickly realized that most Americans didn’t know where Brussels was, so they settled on ‘Belgian Waffles’. And the name stuck!

Here's a headcanon prompt: what are the Powerpuff Girls favorite ice cream flavors?
AWWWW SO CUTE!! I might do Gorillaz later as well because this is a nice summer headcanon
So for colour coordination sake I wanna say Blossom likes strawberry, Bubbles likes that blue birthday cake one, and Buttercup likes the green sherbet (dont really know what that is tbh) and while these are perfectly serviceable, based on personality I would say
Blossom likes anything in a bowl. Doesn't like to make messes. She prefers milkshakes for this reason as well, and she thinks she looks dumb eating an ice cream cone. For flavours? Anything more mild like vanilla or chocolate. She really likes syrup, also she loves cookie dough, adores minty stuff. OH also she really loves iced coffees
Bubbles ...dude she goes HAM with the toppings. It's a wonder she can even stand what she eats, it's absolutely drenched in every sprinkle or crushed up oreo she could find, not to mention she never chooses bland base flavours. Dude her taste buds... RIP... she really is the sugar of the group. She likes the soft cones!!
Buttercup hates sweets. She canonically puts salt on her cereal iirc. Give her a plain cone with nuts in it. She'll love it. If pressed, she'll go for frozen yogurt, whatever is the least sweet. Probably still salts it. Just to be safe. Maybe she likes gummy worms tho if for no other reason than to pretend she's eating real worms. Really loves crunchy textures btw. Also sometimes she'll eat the Bubbles ice cream thing in front of Bubbles to make her vaguely uncomfortable. + she likes to make messes

These 10 Waffles Will Take You Around the World
Waffles are a favourite delicacy all over the world; whether you’re in a little cafe in Paris or a local street vendor in Vietnam, you can find these mouthwatering treats everywhere.
However, the waffles change based on the region.
Every country has its own take on the waffle. But who knew that there were so many types of waffles?
In this blog, we will talk about the 10 best waffles, that will transport you around the world:
Brussel Waffles : You may not be familiar with these waffles, but they are large, rectangular, crispy on the outside, and fluffy on the inside. These also contain deep pockets, which give it its delicious texture and taste. These are generally served hot, topped with powdered sugar or whipped cream and fruit.
Belgium Waffles : Belgium waffles, which are technically American waffles because they were invented in America, are very similar to Brussels waffles, but the ingredients used differ slightly. While Brussels waffles are made with yeast, Belgian waffles are made with baking powder. Baking powder helps with the consistency the waffles are known for. It is a breakfast special in many American households.
Toaster Waffles : We’ve all had them at least once in our lives; these American inventions, also referred to as frozen waffles, are those that can be eaten straight from the freezer or toasted. These were invented by the Dorsa brothers in 1953, were originally termed frozen waffles instead of toaster waffles, and are still a household favorite.
American waffles : like Belgian waffles, are made with baking powder to give them a nice texture. American waffles are thinner but denser than yeast-made waffles, and the pockets are much smaller compared to other waffles, which makes them perfect for holding syrup or any gravy. These come in a variety of shapes and sizes, are frequently served for lunch or dinner, and are sometimes served with poultry such as chicken.
Hong Kong : Egg Waffles - Hong Kong has its own version of the waffle, sometimes referred to as "bubble waffles." In the 1950s, street vendors in Hong Kong invented their own version of this mouthwatering delicacy. These waffles have egg shaped bubbles protruding outward and are easy to eat and very fluffy.
Liege Waffles : According to legend, the Liege waffle was invented by the prince bishop of Liege in Wallonia, Belgium, according to legend. What makes Liege Waffles special is that they are made with a thick brioche batter, which also includes pearl sugar. These delicacies are rich and crispy and made with a caramelised sugar coating, which gives them their distinct taste.
Pizelles : Unlike other waffles, pizelles are an Italian treat made with flour, eggs, butter, sugar, vegetable oil, and flavouring in some cases. These cookie-shaped treats can be hard and crispy or soft and are moulded into various shapes.
Korean Waffles : Have you ever had a waffle that has the same consistency as that of a croissant? Well, the Korean waffles are made like that but served with traditional toppings like powdered sugar, maple syrup, or ice cream.
Hot Dog Waffles : If you love hot dogs and waffles, you will love this Canadian waffle, which combines the best of both worlds. In simple terms, it is a hot dog, covered in waffles. It’s a sweet-salty amalgamation that just fills your palate with the best of flavors.
Stroopwafel : Who does not love flat, crispy waffles drenched in caramel syrup? This Hollandish treat is a flavorful choice for those who have a sweet tooth.
There you have it; a list of the best waffles that will transpose you around the world. You can also make them at home, using basic batter material, which you can find at www.yogurshop.com, and build up or customize your waffles according to your taste and preference.

I have some more icecream headcanons if that's okay to share.
Shigiraki: he just likes chocolate chip icecream, it's comforting for him. For a moment it reminds him of a time of innocence long lost and he's able to relax a little...
Dabi: that coconut ash flavor someone suggested seems perfect for Dabi actually, it's dark and charred looking on the outside, but cool and sweet on the inside, and he likes it.
Spinner: not much of an icecream guy himself, but he does like a bit of butterscotch here and there.
Toga: a flavor I made up called "Vampire Surprise" it's a white chocolate icecream with strawberry jelly and cherries mixed in it. She also loves to add a very thicc layer of strawberry syrup, or blood if she can get that.
Blot (new oc): this boi is just as messy as Toga, but in a weird gross way since he lives on the streets on and off and doesn't adhere to any "rules" when it comes to flavors and toppings. Lemon custard ice cream, topped with pickles or green peppers, then drenched in a layer of the green summer time lime slime you can get at Baskin robins if he has access to it. Toga thinks he's being creative as usual, but the others are absolutely begging him to eat a normal ice cream and topping combo. He thrives on the chaos though. : )
(Oh... and anons are on now, sorry for not having it on in the first place ><)
Well Shiggy’s got dark quickly. But honestly I think it fits. And Toga strikes me as the type to love things like jam, jelly, ketchup, etc. Anything red and kinda liquidy

Little miss spontaneous (Fred Weasley x Fem!reader)
Summary: Reader tries to be spontaneous for a day and fails miserably but her boyfriend Fred helps comfort her.
Warnings: Food and like, maybe some insecurity of not being spontaneous enough?? Idk if that makes sense but I think I should still put it in case. Also some stress but there’s comfort too.
Word count: 1778
A/n: This is my first time writing Fred Weasley and I‘m not sure I got it right?? But he just screams spontaneous to me. Like I don‘t think he‘s capable of planning anything other than pranks. So I found him quite fitting for this. Also the middle picture is not mine, credit to this person. The other two are blurry pics I took last summer holiday. Anyways, hope you like it :)
Fred groans as he is abruptly woken by a loud horn. Someone on his street is continuously honking their car horn. It’s been going on for over a minute before Fred grumpily sits up in his bed and places his chin on the bottom frame of his window.
He spots the source, a teal green convertible with cream leather seats. He groans and slides the window up to not to so kindly tell the driver to sod off. He fills his lungs in preparation to shout when the person beats him to it.
“Fred!” Shouts the driver. Fred gasps and quickly bundles up his firsts to rub at his sleepy eyes. Three floors down (y/n) is waving so vigorously, Fred fears she might lose her hand. She’s sitting in the driver's seat of the car smiling wide.
“(y/n)?” He calls back confused and slightly concerned.
“C’mon hurry up! Get dressed and let’s go!” She yells enthusiastically.
Fred gapes, unable to keep his jaw from dropping. Fred is convinced he’s dreaming this up. This is nothing like (y/n), she’s the type to whisper in libraries and spend nights planning for the days to come instead of attending parties.
“What?” Fred has a multitude of questions but that ones seems the best one to start with.
“Ughhh stop asking questions Freddie! Just do as I say.” The sudden order and dismission makes Fred knit his brows and dive deep into contemplation. He’s never seen her like this. (Y/n) is the type to plan every single part of her day even to last second. To his recollection, this was not something that they’ve planned and she would never leave him out of the loop.
“Fred? Are you coming?” Ask (y/n) slightly annoyed. Fred makes a small sleepy nod before getting out of bed with a grunt and putting on some clothes. He walks out of his apartment, rocking a very messy bedhead as he covers his yawn with a hand and carries his shoes in the other. He opens the door to the car and sits in the passenger seat. He starts lacing up his first shoe and without shooting a glance to (y/n) asks “So where are we going?”
After a long silence, he looks up. (Y/n) has her hands on the steering wheel, she’s looking forward with a look of deep thought. Fred can practically see the gears turning in her head. She turns her head to look at Fred and slowly says “Well, I don’t know actually. I hadn’t thought that far.” She dives back into her head trying to rack an idea for a destination.
Fred shrugs, “then drive.”
(Y/n) develops an even more confused look, something that Fred did not imagine possible. “Just drive.” He explains simply.
“Oh.” She stuns. “Yeah, okay, let’s do that.” She shakes her head vigorously the words giving her a little strength. This really isn’t like her, Fred thinks. She normally has a smart and definite answer to everything. But today she seems confused and dares Fred even think, distraught. She starts the car and drives towards the end of the street.
“Uh (y/n), sweetie, it’s that way. This street has no exit that way.” Fred points his thumb behind him to indicate she’s driving in the wrong direction. She harshly steps on the break and Fred silently thanks himself for putting his seatbelt on a couple seconds earlier. “Right!” She exclaims remembering the street she has visited many times over the year that she and Fred have been dating. “Sorry.” She mumbles with red cheeks as she uses a neighbour's driveway to turn around.
They drive in silence for a very long time. Fred is scanning her face as she goes through nervous, calm, and confused states. He looks at her fidgety hands that can never remain in the same place on the steering wheel for more than a couple seconds. He turns his attention to her outfit. It’s nothing like what she normally wears, the opposite of what he would expect to see her in. She never looks at Fred, she just stares at the winding road ahead, sometimes mumbling things to herself, too quiet for Fred to understand. They are driving on a picturesque highway, the mountains on the left and the ocean on the right. Neither of them knows where they are or where they are going.
Fred spots a small building to the right of the street. Next thing he knows he’s pointing to it and ordering (y/n) to pull over in the small parking lot. The sign is small but it’s a little diner that states to be open 24/7. They’re the only car in the parking lot and (y/n) stops the engine.
“Let’s eat, yeah? Have you had anything today? I’ve got a hankering for waffles drenched in syrup with just a little whip cream on top.” He uses his index and thumb to represent the small amount of whip cream he’s thinking of. His eyes are bright for the first time since he woke up. The thought of the sugary breakfast gives him energy. (Y/n) laughs for the first time that morning.
She orders a plate of a dozen eggs and four cheese toasts. Fred thinks it’s the most absurd thing she’s ever ordered given that she doesn’t like fried eggs and isn’t a quidditch player on a training diet.
When the food arrives he finally asks, mouth full, “So, are you going to tell me what’s going on?” He gestures to her with his fork.
She pushes at the eggs on her plate with a look of disgust. “What do you mean?” She looks at him with wide eyes.
“This isn’t you love.” He points out simply. She sighs in defeat but doesn’t say anything. Fred gives her an encouraging nod and she sits up a little.
“Well, I overheard Harry and Ron talking about how much I plan things and I’m never spontaneous and while I’m flattered they said they would want me to plan their wedding, I realized they’re right. I mean, when have I done something without planning it?”
Fred chuckles. “Well you sure proved them wrong today”
“This morning I woke up and put on an outfit I hadn’t planned the night before. I think that would have been enough maybe. But then I walked out my door and the next thing I knew I hoped in a car and drove to you.” She sighs again, evidently uncomfortable with the lack of planning.
Fred drops his fork which creates a loud noise in the otherwise quiet diner. “Do you mean to tell me you stole that car?” Fred asks in a whisper, his eyes lighting up.
“No!” She disputes. “Well, depends.” She mumbles.
“Merlin (y/n)! You stole a car?” He exclaims. Fred sounds much too excited for a stolen car.
“Would you keep your voice down?” She snaps. “It’s my friend’s uncle’s car and while I didn’t ask if I could use it I knew he wouldn’t be and one time my friend said I could borrow it.”
She suddenly goes pale. “Godric, Fred.” she says slowly as she slumps in her seat and covers her mouth with her hand. “I stole a car.” The guilt on her face makes Fred want to laugh. Of course, he understands this is the end of the world for her but he couldn't be more proud.
She hops out of the booth and gestured to Fred to do the same. “We have to go Fred. We have to put that car back!” She exclaims. Her voice is laced with panic.
Fred turns in his booth to face his horror-struck girlfriend. He grabs her hands in his and looks straight into her eyes. His eyes are soft and warm and most of all calm.
“How are you calm Fred? I’m a criminal! You’re having breakfast with a criminal!” She blurts. Fred worries she might pass out. She’s gone pale and her hands are cold as ice.
“(Y/n), sweetie, let’s finish breakfast first. We have no clue where we are or how we’re going to get back so let’s start with getting some food in our bodies okay? Then I’ll help you return the car.” He’s so calm when he speaks, it convinces (y/n) to move back to the booth. Fred makes a whiny sound and pulls her back by the wrist.
“Come sit next to me.” He scoots further into the booth to give her space. She squeezes next to him as he pulls her plate to their side of the table. He laces his hand with hers and starts eating again.
“You know I love you even if you plan everything.” He states. (Y/n)’s cheeks turn red and her face suddenly contorts into a big pout.
“Really?” She asks weakly. She turns to look at Fred who smiles softly.
“Yes.” He states simply. “We balance each other out. Haven’t you noticed how much more spontaneous you are when you’re with me? I’ve noticed how much more I plan things when I’m with you. We’re helping each other. It’s no good to be only spontaneous or only organized. Together we can become both.” He moves back to his plate as if he were just talking about the last quidditch match he saw, leaving (y/n) stunned.
“Though I must admit I love what you did today. I won’t let you forget this one.” He chuckles and plants an adoring kiss on her cheek.
(Y/n) laughs again for the second time that day. It’s much longer and fuller. Fred can practically hear the stress escaping with it. He smiles to himself, happy he could help her.
She grabs at her cheesy toast and finally starts eating. “I hadn’t thought about it that way. I knew I felt calmer with you but I never realized how good we were for each other.”
Fred nods happily. “The perfect match.” He says proudly.
They take up a light conversation as they finish eating. Once back in the car they create a plan to get back. It’s not planned out to the second but it’s good enough to get them back into town. Fred holds (y/n)’s hand as she drives back up the winding roads.
“Cute outfit by the way.” He teases, smirking at her.
She grimaces. “Maybe I’ll keep planning that part of my life.” She offers.
Fred bursts into laughs and soon they are laughing together, the wind blowing in their hair, the radio blasting. It might be one of their best memories yet.

Special Donuts - Katakuri x Reader
One Piece of summer challenge - week 8
part of the challenge hosted by @doctorgerth & @laws-yellow-submarine I’m attempting all 11 weeks, 11 different prompts and 11 different characters! Enjoy! 3 more weeks to go after this! Hecc that means 3 months worth of writing on tumblr as well and I think it’s the first time ever I’ve been so consistent with writing. Katakuri is a huge softie and I will die on that hill. He is also severely underrated? So I am here to challenge myself and spread some love! Shorter story cause the more I wrote the more I realised it was a bit of an empty plot. Fluffy nonetheless.
Prompt: Ice Cream - Character: Charlotte Katakuri  - Word count: 1.1k
Tumblr media
It was hot. It was so incredibly hot. You wore your lightest dresses, the lightest fabrics and carried around a fan wherever you went, but at this point, you were practically ready to just go live in the sea. You were positively baking. And you could not believe for the life of you, how your husband was not melting yet in his big fluffy scarf.
It had taken him months to reveal to you what was hidden under his scarf, after weeks of careful prying and reassuring him that whatever it was, he was never going to be a monster in your eyes, as he had described himself to you. As of now, he was comfortable showing his face, even eating around you and the way you could share intimate moments together had greatly improved after you had gotten rid of his biggest insecurity.
But that was only behind closed walls. Outside, for his sibling’s sake and for yours, Katakuri still wore his scarf to hide his mouth and fangs. Even now, when summer seemed to get it’s own summer and record temperatures were broken every single day. Living in a country filled with candy didn’t help at all. Everything was sticky, and the while the heat made the air already heavy and moist, the added sweetness made it seem as if you were constantly drenched in syrup and you honestly wanted to shower 20 times a day to feel better.
It was pretty obvious, to you at least, that Katakuri was uncomfortable as well. He had cancelled some training, using excuses that included you to not make the family pry as well. You gladly played along. If you could just stay inside your house, the two of you could feel a little better, and maybe hold hands while sitting in front of a fan (too hot for cuddles).
But of course, there were plenty of meetings, training sessions and tea parties where Katakuri’s presence was required. And every single time he came home after such an event, you were waiting for him, a fresh plate of donuts in hand, a change of clothes that was not the heavy leather outfit he preferred wearing outside and some ice cold ice tea, anything to cool him down and make him feel better. It was not the most ideal situation, but Katakuri, in very little words, made sure to let you know how much he appreciated the efforts you put in.
This week was exceptionally warm and exceptionally busy at the same time. You had not been able to provide for your husband the way you wanted, mostly because he was out the door before you could even wake up, and returned way too late, not only did you hardly have time to spend together, you noticed him getting more and more uncomfortable every single day. So you decided to work on a plan to help him, if even a little.
You contacted Brulee trough the biggest mirror in your house, asking her to take you to Ice Island. Out of all siblings, mostly due to her powers, you’d been having the most contact with Brulee and she responded in no time, eager to help you, and by helping you, also helping her older brother. You selected some of the finest ice creams to take home and started working on your little plan.
Stashing the Ice cream away in the freezer, you started making donut batter. It was one of the first recipes you perfected after you got married to Katakuri, desperately trying to win him over (and trying to get him to show you his face). It had been succesful, after weeks of trying and probing, and now your donuts were his absolute favorite. He even preferred them over those the chefs made for him, maybe even more so because yours had become a rare treat with him being busy.
You had a second of regret while you were frying the donuts, fanning yourself with a piece of paper because it was just so hot. But then you remembered Katakuri, training in the heat with a full on scarf to cover up his face, and that gave you renewed energy to finalize your special donuts as they cooled down enough. You put them all in a basket, and called upon Brulee one more time. That was the fastest way to get the sugary goods to Katakuri in time for his merienda.
You arrived just in time, seeing as he was already making his small mochi house to eat his snacks in. There were no chefs to be seen and you could notice him getting a little agitated. You had instructed them not to bring him anything, so you could be sure that this snack time he could cool down with your special treat. When he noticed you approaching, he tilted his head slightly, confused as to why you would be the one bringing him his tea time snack.
“Y/n? Why are you here?” You held up the basket with your little creations. “surprise! You’ve been working so hard and so much even in this hot summer weather, so I thought I’d bring you a treat to make it a little easier?”  You couldn’t see it but you were sure he was smiling under his scarf. “Do you want to join me for my merienda?” You smiled widely and nodded eagerly, knowing that this was a privilege only meant for you. So you joined him in the little mochi room, letting him get comfortable first, then sitting next to him and handing him the first of the donuts. “Now I know you like to eat them in a few bites, but you’ll have to be a little bit more careful with these ones.” “They’re very cold” “I filled them with ice cream! So you can cool down a little in this absolute hell weather” He took a careful bite, and you could see his eyes lighting up with excitement. The way he looked at you before he even finished the first donut made your heart melt.
“Do you like them?” “They’re absolutely perfect” He happily hummed as he finished the basket of donuts as slowly as he could, wanting to savor the taste for as long as possible, and enjoying your company while you were there as well. You had made two smaller donuts for yourself to enjoy as well so you could cool down and just have this break together.
It was quiet for a bit after all the donuts were finished and you could see just how reluctant he was to get up and resume his training. You placed a soft kiss on his cheek. “Go on... I’ll be waiting for you at home.”  He gave you a small smile, a rare sight that was for your eyes only as he sat up and put on his scarf again, not before very carefully kissing the top of your head. “Thank you. I don’t know what I did to deserve a wife that’s sweeter than the sweetest donutsprinkle”  You blushed. “I love you too... Now go train”
