Characters in murder investigation, cont'd:

Lara: impatient about proceedings. Will get flustered when caught in her lies, and do the classic slip ups from that point on. Detectives will push her to anger, after which she'll refuse to talk, even with a lawyer she'll argue with the lawyer.

Adelaide: didnt actually commit the murder herself, she hired someone to do it. Will be passively aggressively polite in questioning in utter confidence that the assassin cannot be traced to her. Detectives know it's her but there is no way to prove it, she will be so polite in the disgusting condescending way

Bart: becomes very nervous as soon as police approach him, sweating bullets and detectives think it'll take five seconds to confess. But as soon as he's confronted with the evidence he gets extremely confused and unfamiliar with the victim and the case.

Kayley: comes in unannounced because 'your people have been asking questions about me and it's damaging to my reputation, so please make your accusations or leave me be'. Is already aware of the case being made and refutes every line of reasoning and every piece of evidence. Somehow, the case shows similarities with cases from before she is born. When asked if she's a copycat, she'll chuckle and say that she would only copy if there was something superior to what she herself would do. As it is, this entire crime scene is an embarassment to whoever did it. Had the detective interviewed all the local meth heads yet?

Suzume: will invoke her right to remain silent. Detectives will point out that she has not been arrested and is free to leave -for now. She thanks them for their hospitality and leaves. She loses her tail within minutes of leaving the building and disappears.

Myra: confesses. Or rather brags about doing it, badmouthing the victim. When evidence comes in that's conflicting with her story, she blows a raspberry and assumes that someone in her gang gave her the wrong info, then. Will not roll on any accomplices. Goes feral when brother's guilt is suggested, needs to be restrained.

Dylan: will do the 'hypothetical' thing for a while, and complain about the police being prejudiced against him. Might flirt with the detectives, frown at the evidence and seem very unconcerned. Will whistle if he eventually get arrested, wonder if they serve fish in prison.

Firn: goes very silent, uncomfortable. Interviewing him in the open turns out to be a bad idea, he's lipreading everyone and cannot focus on the interview. When finally in the box, a psychologist comes in to talk to him. He'll keep arguing thay the case against him isn't built logically, it's not structured as it should be.

Yurjen: kind of scares the detectives, is imposing and was close to being arrested before the interview. Will go for wrong place, wrong time, argument and any damning evidence will lead to "youre setting me up." If it goes to court, this theory will eventually shake a jury, he'll go free and the cops investigated for corruption.
