Bella, half vampire and half human, was raised by her vampire dad. She and Charlie drank animal blood and lived a nomadic lifestyle. Which meant they moved around a lot and they lived away from humans. Bella was home schooled and rarely interacted with humans. Aside from eating food and sleeping, Bella lived more as a vampire than a human. As a result her human side was suppressed. It was a subconscious thing and Charlie never meant for Bella to repress half of herself. It's just what happened.

Then Charlie died and Bella went on the run from James and ended up hiding out in Forks. Her situation provides her with the opportunity to live amongst humans. For the first time in her life she has neighbors and she could go to school. Though now she's suppressing her vampire half. Doing her best to blend in with the humans and hoping that it'll somehow be enough to keep James off her trail. At least for a while.

For some reason or another, Bella's always repressed a part of herself. Until she met the Cullens. Here was a coven, each member just as much a vampire as Charlie had been, that lived amongst humans as if they were one of them. Most of them attended school. Their coven leader was a doctor and spent his days treating humans. These vampires had found a way to exist in both worlds. Something Bella, a literal offspring of those worlds, hadn't managed to figure out. And through becoming a member of the Cullen coven she learns to do exactly that. Because of that, Bella learns to be a better and balanced version of herself.

I found a free audio book of twilight on youtube and I haven't been able to get doctoral/master's students, lesbian twilight out of my head

It was super fun coming up with outfits that still fit their color schemes from the movie but were updated a little from 2010 fashion. They're both English students at the moment, maybe TAing for the same prof so you can still do classroom scenes. Also, I made Bella afro-cuban on Charlie's side because I said so and if there's anything that I hope they change for the tv show is that there's better integration of POC. Well, that and Edward being in love with a child...

Don't know if I'll do the rest of the characters, maybe just the rest of the Cullens and Jacob? But my hyperfixation hasn't moved beyond these two for the moment. If anyone has any ideas for them or these two let me know!

ignoring if Edward and Edythe would both even make it this far, would fight each other over Bella etc: if Bella meets them both does she fall for both of them? Does she tell herself she only loves Edward and it's totally normal to stare at Edythe longingly?

She falls for Edward.

Bella may be bisexual, but she's also oblivious and attractive women intimidate the shit out of her. Bella has no idea that smelling your best friends and embracing them for a very long time is not a platonic thing people do. And Bella, while she checks Rosalie out, also never gets over the fact that Rosalie is beautiful.

Bella finds Edward one of the most attractive Cullens at a glance (though Rosalie originally ranks higher/is equal for Bella), Edythe is going to be the same. That means Bella's got not just hot Rosalie to contend with but hot Edythe, who is single.

She'd view Edythe as a threat. Doesn't matter if the pair are twins/brother and sister, Bella's not going to view this rationally and even being compared to Edward's beautiful, intelligent, sophisticated, artistic sister is going to make her feel like a pile of dirt.

This choosing one over the other probably gets Bella eaten by a slighted Edythe.

My awesome friends! (Annie strikes again)

Well... today's been a super awesome and lovely day! So many people have reached out to me to wish me well and I'm so glad I met y'all!

What amazed me the most, was all the lovely gifts I got! You see, Momo (@axolotlsupremacyowo) made me some lovely fanart and Sara (@sliebman10), Annie (@udaberriwrites), and Salty (@tsunderewatermelon) wrote amazing fics! And all of them took a piece from my style and it's super flattering!

Sara and Salty actually wrote into my Winter Light Verse! In fact, both of them wrote MM Bellisle smut involving hands (of course lol).

Annie went into this cool canon verse thing involving Bella/Edythe and Archie/Jasper, following Archie's future visions and relationship.

Sara's fic is Wandering Hands, Salty's fic is A Flower in Hands, and Annie's fic is Dawn is a Heartbeat!

And Momo's lovely fanart of my cast from the Winter Light Verse!

...and yes, as mentioned in the title, Annie was scheming behind every single one of those fics for sure, and I'm not convinced that she knew nothing about Momo's art as well XD

Also, I ended up creating a whole Winter Light Verse collection, since I'm apparently not the only writer in that world anymore! Sara's and Salty's fics are there and I'm pretty sure Annie's scheming to join them at some point, and maybe Momo will join in too!

...so yeah. That was an interesting birthday! Thanks everybody ^_^
