So it's like: I can come off as the type to be distant and shy, but once you get to know me more and I open up to you, I can be louder and more open about my thoughts kemekeme.

^^ I'm also described to be maternal by my closest friends, though I have a childish side, as well. I love to rant and rave about my day—and this is very important since I do this with people I'm closest with—but I also love listening to their stories and vents.

Moving on, I have a lot of hobbies so I'll just be listing out some here 🥲 : I love to write, journaling, creative writing, etc., I love to do stereotypical girly things, such as shopping, photography, gardening, etc. I also love to do arts, sculpting, painting, ganenn!!

^ But I also take up lots of activities that require stamina and strength, such as: taekwondo, ballet, boxing, etc. (I get tired easily, though huhu)

Alsoo some extra info abt me (tw: eating disorder, anemia, insomnia) (skip if u wantt!!)

I tend to forget to eat, and it often results in me not eating for a day, or more. I have anemia, especially low iron, kinemekeme ganun. I'm also an insomniac, and it results to me falling asleep in the day huhu. I often rely on my friends to wake me up if I do, and remind me of my meds/vitamins 😔😔

Xtraa : My friends often describe my aesthetic as coquette, dark nymphet/vamp coquette, gloomy coquette/delicate sweet shhs (i embody those all at once),, they often reference me to lana del rey and mitski (heaaavy on mitski SHES SO MY FAV ARTIST WAHH)

I feel like he definitely knows some form of martial arts, so they probably ask to wrestle with you a bunch to test your strength 😭

Really wants to learn ballet though ^^

They are all over your health, mental and physical but tends to focus more on your physical health

She's like your personal alarm to take your meds

Either flicks you on the forehead to wake you up or kisses you on the forehead very aggressively, it's 50/50

Oh God, many ships have crushed but not one like Bellarke did. With Bellarke it was on a whole other level. These two were the best and worst thing simultaneously that evee happened in my shipping experience.

It’s just like…. All those years we spent agonizing over every interaction and producing content not only to be let down but to literally be spat in the face in the most disrespectful way possible at the end. I try not to give it my time of day anymore but it’s changed the way I watch tv forever.

Random Lana headcanons.

Things she likes and loves, the little things about her and the in betweens.

aka adopting a Lana starter pack

Lana loves Disney and Pixar. Mostly leans to Pixar but anything Disney she will check out and watch. Her favorite movies are Toy Story 2 and the first Lilo and Stitch. She likes the Lilo and Stitch cartoon series too.

She also enjoys Pokemon. She hasn't played the games and might not enjoy it if she did and hasn't seen the anime but there are a few Pokemon she just likes so she goes crazy for any plush or toy of them. These are Growlithe and Evee.

She isn't crazy about reading, especially when she has too for school, ugh right? But there are a few book series she loves to read. Can't put down once she starts. These are the Judy Moody books, Junie B Jones, Ramona and Beezus. She's also growing to love goosebumps. Thanks, Mayson.

Lana loves arts and crafts. Glitter, glue, cutting and pasting, popsicle sticks, pom poms, googly eyes, crayons, markers, construction paper. All the things. She also likes to color and draw. From her own free handing on a blank sheet to a coloring book.

Lana likes to run and play outside with friends, they make up games together and can be occupied for hours. Kickball, sports games they’ve made up. She also likes board games like Candyland and , Snakes and Ladders

Video games are not her thing mainly since she hasn’t been exposed to them much but she would love Disney Dreamlight Valley

She is friends with Mayson and Cole, @embraced-chaos David and Jaymie. Marley and Aria are her friends too. She is very social and will strike up conversation with just about anyone so she is acquaintances with many of classmates.

Lana’s favorite food is apples. She doesn’t like biting in a whole apple but will eat as many slices as she can. She will eat anything with apples in it. She also likes chicken nuggets, and macaroni and cheese.

For drinks of course she enjoys apple juice and apple cider. She won’t turn down chocolate or strawberry milk either. She calls strawberry milk ‘Bunny Milk’ because of strawberry nesquick.

Her favorite color is purple but she loves pink as well. She wants anything with those colors. If she sees any toy, clothing, or food item with purple or pink she’s going to want it.

Lana isn’t the kind of kid typically that is super attached to any one stuffed animal or toy. She doesn’t tend to carry around a comfort object but when she doesn’t feel good she clings to a shark plush she got from the hospital when she broke her arm. Her favorite toy is a blue shark plushie and an old well loved teddy bear that’s missing an eye.

She isn't into dress up dolls or Barbies. Or dolls in general. But the dolls of Disney Princesses is always a want. The large dolls, not the small Barbie sized ones. 24 or 28 inch dolls are more her style.

Lana prefers bubble baths over anything else which has lead to problems as she was already prone too having issues so the soap and bubble certainly don’t help her with all the infections. But bubbles are fun darn it!

She keeps her bedroom rather tidy although there is usually some kind of mess on the floor from clothes to books to crafting supplies.

Lana likes school well enough, there’s things she really doesn’t like about it and other things she enjoys. She’s had some bad teachers and experiences such as when she broke her arm or she had her chair taken away but those were both last year. This school year has been going a lot better.

She likes clothing. Just in general. She doesn’t care about fashion but the clothes themselves are interesting. She wants just about every clothing item and style and will mix and match. She is down for just about any outfit. but there are a few that she leans more towards and that’s the more tom boyish styles. She is also most comfortable in leggings over anything else.

Lana doesn't know how to swim. She was never taught and never had much experience around large bodies of water either, so it hasn't been much of an issue. But she does want to learn. Cole is on a swim team and then Mayson and Cole often invite her to the pool in the summertime. She wants to do what her friends do. Of course any kid would want to do what their friends do but Lana, being younger than the boys, tries even harder to catch up and tag along.

If she finds a can of frosting and is left unattended Lana will eat icing by the spoonful or even have each messily scoop dug out with just her fingers. It is a mess that was the first time it happened but has slowly become a problem in whatever household she is living in.

Lana often forgets her jackets at school or at friend's houses. Which can sometimes lead to her not having a jacket on hand in the mornings when she has to get off to school

Fallout Pokemon Teams Pt. 2

Moira Brown

Trubbish - Moira's first Pokemon. Moira spent her time scavenging as a child and found Trubbish thrown out with the rest of the trash, so she took Trubbish with her and dotes on Trubbish to this day. It spends its time wiping the ground of the Craterside Supply cleaning up after Moira's experiments. Trubbish is extremely loyal and kind and despite being exceptionally weak its very protective over Moira.

Klefki - Klefki had simply appeared one day in a crate full of spare parts, keys, and scrap back during the early days of Craterside Supply. It'd been attracted by the jangling of metal and had been collecting keys for centuries, but was too heavy to get back out. Moira had helped the little one out and bartered with it to let her take some of these keys off for its own good. Now it guards the key to Craterside Supply.

Eevee - Evee had been an oddity Moira had found shortly before meeting the LW and helped spur on the Wasteland Survival Guide. This Eevee is especially small, being the size of a small Pomeranian or Chihuahua, and sits on her shoulder. It's also special in that this Eevee can't permanently evolve like how it does in the games. This particular Eevee was such unstable DNA that it can only temporarily evolve, but always ends up reverting back into its base state. Moira uses this to evolve Eevee into different forms when she needs it.

Craterside Supply Mercenary

Houndoom - Big scary guy has a big scary dog that breathes fire. These two guard Craterside Supply together creating such an intimidating team that no one would dare to steal from Moira. His Houndoom is truthfully quite lazy, but no one is able to tell.

Why do you think Capcom refuses to give young girls happy endings? We see this in Manuela and Evelyn. Let the girlies have a nice ending. (Yes I would love to see a happy ending for my girl Evelyn. Poor baby got robbed and we're supposed to see her as irredeemable because she was treated terribly and had truama :<) Evelyn deserves to have been adopted by Ethan and Mia. Big Sister Evee.

Why do I think that? I really don’t know. I would like to talk about it though so I’ll use this image I made for my list of examples

None of these girls get a happy ending. Not really.

Lisa is the most obvious, she’s an “enemy” that you have to continually fight during 1 and even though you don’t personally kill her, she still dies at the end. Her entire life since being kidnapped was misery, for over 2 decades, she received torture and experimentation and no relief, no compassion from anyone

Emma is a small character, but for once the narrative is actually aware that her story is sad and is respectful to her because of it. She’s infected, there’s no saving her, her father shoots her to protect her. The story gives the scene its proper weight, and the point of it is to show how dire and sad this situation is, how innocents get hurt

Sherry doesn’t get a happy ending. Sure she’s saved at the end of 2, but she’s taken out of a home of controlling parents and then locked up for 11 years. No freedom, because she’d be in danger, but still. Once it’s deemed that she’s “safe” to leave her prison, her only “freedom” is by working for the man who kept her locked up, who uses her loyalty to him for nefarious purposes. Also her genetic structure is permanently fucked in the dumbest possible way according to the narrative, she will never age and can never die. I guess Capcom didn’t see how incredibly fucking sad that was

Alexia is the first “villain” on this list. While you could argue that being raised by bad people and inter along those values is not her fault, you could also argue that she and her brother still used these values to commit a terrible thing on their father and themselves. And then you remember their father brought Alexia and Alfred into existence as a vanity project, and Alexia was only 12 years old when she went into cryo sleep. And when she woke up, the first thing she saw was her brother, the only person she loved, dead. And then she’s killed because of her bond to Veronica

Manuela is another character with a life of nothing but suffering. Her mom “dies” when she’s very young, she’s diagnosed with a fatal virus, she has to deal with another virus in her body which is meant to keep her alive, as well as deal with the guilt that her father killed innocent people to keep her alive as well. She’s 16 when she almost dies several times, finds out what her mom mutated into, has to watch her father die, and accepts her own death before Leon saves her. And then she just gets locked up again

Natalia seems to get a happy ending, but the narrative can’t allow for that, so instead they make the ending creepy and ambiguous if they want to pull out another villain later on. She watched her parents die in front of her as a child, was essentially kidnapped after that, used by a eugenicist for experiments, had her body and mind invaded by an adult who wanted to control and use it, and when she escaped she was, best case scenario, still dealing with the trauma of what happened to her, and worst case, never actually healed and her life was still in danger

Dahlia and Dolores are a classic “they died before the story happened so their stories don’t mean much” and they’re more of a storytelling element than characters (even though that’s what characters are lol) but I think the biggest thing is that the story thinks these two are creepy rather than sad. Ooooh a dried up dead body, isn’t that sooo scary?

Eveline is…well I’ve already spoken at length about Eveline and I’m sure you’re all tired of hearing about it. But the DLC just feels incredibly mean-spirited towards a character who arguably deserved a happy ending, and who still has the potential to be given one, but the dlc goes “oh actually she’s been suffering for 20 years and never gets comfort or to be happy” it really sucks

So after all that, why do I think Capcom does it? Honestly, I think it’s mostly because they aren’t aware that these stories are tragic. Lisa, Alexia, and Eveline are villains, because their backstory is either hidden in files no one reads, so the average gamer is just going to remember them as the freaky boss they had to fight. Sherry, Manuela, and Natalia are objectives. Their story is sad, but they are meant to be rescued by you, giving them a happy ending, but the story just shows you the happy escape, and when you look at the wiki (fuck the wiki btw) you see the ends of their stories are ambiguous/sad and we never see them again, so we don’t know if they truly got that happy ending. Emma, Dahlia, and Dolores are just props for storytelling. The narrative offers as much sympathy as necessary before moving on without much thought to the weight those scenes could have had (Emma I think is treated respectfully though) Bottom line, I don’t think they know this is sad. I wish Capcom knew how to 1) write young girls, that 2) get real happy endings

Week 5 - storyboarding and environment concepts

Status: currently in my develop phase with story boarding and concept rendering.

tools/tech used: Ive been mostly using blender for concept renders and asset creations. I plan to use unity as my main program for the final project and have my project viewed in a oculus quest 2 VR head set. Though I might have my environment be prototyped in Mozilla hubs.

What I did this week:

Storyboard the initial process of user entering the VR environment

Concept images/renders of possible environments in blender but still need more work to fill them out.

more research and resource gathering on how to use unity and how to create a drawing program in unity.

Challenges I faced this week:

this week I struggled with issues involving rendering my concepts in blender but that was fixed by simply changing the render engines from cycles to EVEE. (examples of the two different renders below)

2. Another challenge I faced was my storyboarding, because I am still deciding between having a 2D or 3D drawing program in Unity. I am also debating on the decision of including a virtual character for the user to interact with and as a way to check in on the players well being.

Ive also tried to make a very crude animated story board using already rendered concept image and a doodled version of a virtual character.

3. I have been gathering video resources from youtube and unity's website in hopes to prepare myself for learning to bring my vision in to reality.

What I plan for next week:

To continue storyboarding the rest of the experience and resource gathering. May be actually start to familiarise my self with unity.

I have some of the best people in my life right now 🥹😊

I am currently a temp-to-hire worker at the company I am at, and because of that, I am not actually employed by said company but rather through the recruiting agency I work through. 

The official employees at the company get holiday bonuses as part of their salary. A few weeks ago my manager told me that I don’t technically qualify for that because, again not hired through them. Which is TOTALLY fine and understandable! I had zero hard feelings about it whatsoever! 

Well today I come in to work (it’s our last day before a week off 🙌) and there is a christmas gift bag on my desk. In it is a card that says how since I can’t get an official holiday bonus my team mates (I am on the peoples team at a tech company) pooled together some of their own holiday bonus money to get me a “little something.” 

I open it and they got me a freaking NINTENDO SWITCH OLED!!!!!! I bring my switch to work most days and play on half my lunch break. I socialize and eat with people for 30 minutes, and then spend other 30 winding down/decompressing usually either via switch or reading. My coworkers know i’m really introverted and i love getting to know them but it can also overwhelm me and they respect and appreciate that more than I thought they’d get.

So they bought me the newest version of the switch, plus the GREATEST Evee controllers 🥹😭 i’ve ever seen!! 

And then on top of that one of my coworkers i’ve become friends with also gave me a separate gift from just her with a bunch of self-care items and i am just so so happy and grateful and on cloud nine. 

Coming from my Peet’s Coffee job to this is incredible. Peet’s was a company that gave zero shits about you as a human and going from a big corporate hell-like company to a smaller, but very successful, start up who values every single person so so much, is an indescribable feeling... 

While I know I don’t want to be in tech forever, I never planned on this route, I am so grateful I am here now to experience everything I am, even if only for a finite amount of time. 

So, so grateful and feel so much love and just warmth from this place and these people. ❤️ At a loss for words tbh!
