I think if Al and Rosie were QPPs Vox would be jealous af of Rosie, and she would KNOW IT and tease him about it. What do you think?

First of all I'm sure Vox doesn't understand Rosie and Al's relationship at all, all he sees is that she's allowed to be affectionate with him and he's not, sees them as a couple because he doesn't understand Al's aroaceness or the relationship he has with Rosie (all he thinks is "what does she have that I don't??")

Rosie on the other hand, I love the idea that she teases him about it! Even if she doesn't have any romantic interest towards Al she understands she has a really special place in his non existant heart and is happy to rub it off on Vox's face any chance she gets (like hug Al or scratch his ears shamelessly when Vox is around eheh) and sometimes even has a "he's mine :)" energy when she teases Vox about it.

Would be even funnier if Alastor has absolutely no clue that the two of them have a silly rivalry over him

I didn't explore that yet in my art but that's such a great idea I'll note it somewhere in a corner of my brain 👀 I really need to explore Rosie Al and Vox as a trio more they could be so fun in so many ways. There's the amazing meteor shower fanfics by @cringefailvox about the three of them developing a polyamory queer platonic relationship and I'm an absolute fan I love their characterisation so much. It's not just words exchanged to each other, it's the non-verbal gestures;

A look, a loving touch, a hand on a shoulder, foreheads pressed together - all these things speak in so much volume, without a word being uttered.

Yes I can but it will be a long one so buckle in lol

So explaining the makeup of this chart for those who have never learned about the quadrants or maybe need a refresher.

First it’s important to note that A) the quadrants are from a violent alien society and are meant to reflect/balance that out B) the line between quadrants can often blur.

So if some things seem weird that’s probably why.

Red rom focus on positive emotions while black rom focuses on the negative. Along with that, concupiscent quadrants prioritize passion/attraction while conciliatory quadrants prioritize soothing/comforting.

Matespritship (♥️) is the closest to a typical human romantic relationship. This is the lovey dovey corner. The one that’s all about passion and dates and affection yada yada. It’s also the one I am least interested in bc it’s the most familiar.

Kismesitude (♠️) is the opposing romance to Matespritship. It focuses on feelings of hatred and attraction, but for it to be a true pitch relationship, there must also be respect. Think of it as an intense rivalry. A kismesis is someone who pushes your buttons. Someone who constantly challenges you forward. They are the person you trust to vent your aggression out towards.

It is incredibly important to know that neither member will ever want their partner to be grievously hurt or killed. They genuinely care for one another.

Moirailigance (♦️) is a frequently misinterpreted relationship. Many people see it as the BFF corner, but it is much deeper than that. Think more similar to a queer platonic relationship. Moirails are each others safeguard. They care deeply for each others physical, mental, and emotional well-being.

This is the person you go to when you’re having a horrible day. This is the person who will drop everything to take care of you when sick. This is the person who’d lay their life down for you if someone threatened you.

It’s also often moirails will show affection through physical means (ex: hugging, holding hands, cuddling, chaste kisses in some dynamics).

Auspisticism (♣️) is often the most neglected romance. Despite this it is incredibly important. This quadrant involves three members. Typically a feuding pair and a mediator - known as the auspistice. This third party is the person who provides advice when the couple are struggling in their dynamic.

They will deescalate feuds that may be going to far. They will step in to prevent serious injury. They will calm the pair down, provide them with new perspectives on whatever’s troubling them.

TLDR: hearts are for lovers — spades are for rivals that kiss — diamonds are for soulmates who aren’t quite lovers and they prefer it that way — clubs are mediators.

#I think the teens all being <> is just a fun way to look at their dumb marriage #but I personally enjoy Link & Taylor and Norm & Scary being primary duos #I hope this helps I’m notoriously known for going off about the quadrant system in my friend group so I tried to be fairly straightforward #can you tell who my favourite troll is (blaringly obvious edition)#all the lines are the chart are how I interpret the dynamics or previous ones (looking at Taylor’s brief one sided hatred for Scary)#but anyways 👍#if I were ever to make another chart for a different Gen it would probably be the kiddads but just how I interpret the ships between them #also yeah it’s 12 am but yknow I’m already here

What might that look like!#I think Florette would be cotton candy and Luke would be a radish lol #The only real change would be the nature of their insults lol - Luke is no longer a flathead and Florette no longer a shrub #They're still both delegates and both their same heights and limbs - although I guess now Luke has feet lol #And Florette has a wrapped paper body! Y'know like a cone - what's used for cotton candy at state fairs and the like lol #It's wider than average which also makes it looser - so she can wrap and unwrap herself to act as limbs in place of the jacket I gave her #Luke gets to keep his arms tho! How unfair!#I guess the General did have arms and he was a veggie so it's not like it's unheard of #And like the Ice Cream Cone guy from the S.S.A.M. didn't have arms so! There's precedent on both sides!#Mostly it was just a lot of fun seeing how much I could bring them out in their design while being completely different lol #They've still got the same catty attitude towards each other (and ship as far as I'm concerned cough) lol #But turning Luke's lapels into a leaf collar and giving him more leaves for hands ah! Ok fine I'll say it. Virgil x Youngblood x Noise is SUCH an underrated ship tbh. Yeah yeah they haven't all met in canon, but the dynamic between the three of them would be so great. They're all pretty introverted so they'd have kind of the same energy levels and they'd probably enjoy quiet date nights together. Virgil and Youngblood are both on the more cynical side. Noise and Virgil are both pretty anxious about stuff, while Youngblood is more rational. I just think they'd balance each other out perfectly.

That is, if any of them actually ever confessed their feelings, because none of them are that big on talking about their emotions.
