Thank you @terijowheeler - Soul-centered Coaching, Home Organizing & Education. | After one session with you I am feeling the momentum. 💕 Releasing 5 bags of ‘stuff’ from my art studio/office closet was therapeutic. 🙏🏼 I receive a lot of wonderful gifts and often feel obligated to keep them even when they are no longer serving me. 🙃 Can you relate? 🤔 they say, “When you release things that no longer serve you the universe brings in what you need. “ Allowing the release, sorting through my things, I came across this wonderful unfinished crocheted sweater top started by my grandmother on my father’s side. I put this in a box because I never met her and wanted to keep the project safe. I was not skilled enough at the time, 15 years ago, to complete this unfinished crocheted sweater. We got away for a few days this month for our birthdays 🥳 ⁣⁣🎂💕⁣ It was wonderful to get up in altitude again. ⁣⁣⁣ ⁣⁣⁣ While we were in Big Bear we went to Pebble plains. What an amazing place! Letting go…

I’m sure this will be a reoccurring theme on this blog. Because it’s one of the biggest themes with all my therapists. I have so much trouble with it. I'm not sure if it's the loss of whatever it is I'm letting go of, whether it be a person or a trinket. Or perhaps just the having to deal with an end. There's no more potential or possibility with an end and that's a bummer.

Currently, I'm trying to let go of the only man I've ever truly loved, because he chose to let go of me. If I have to stop and ponder if any give piece of trash is really trash for a split second, do you really think I can imagine any world without him.

It's a pretty difficult time because he was my plan A, B and C. I didn't think of anything farther than him. Didn't want to. But life is busy and each person gets their own set of challenges, so sometimes things just don't work out. But just like that piece of trash, while it was there with you, I'm sure it was useful, maybe entertaining, you might have even loved whatever it was.

More people and things will find their way to you. They always do, it's like magnets in a magical sense. Appreciate what you have. Love those in your life you wouldn't want to live without. Don't cling to a dead past, you won't feel better doing it.

I live with Anxiety, Depression, and a panic disorder. I go to work and try to breathe, I go to bed and try to shut my brain off. I try to focus and not feel like I'm falling apart. It's a million moments of telling myself it's OK, it'll pass, it's not real and it can't hurt me. It's trying to find triggers, and not avoid them to make things worse. It's wanting to quit my job everyday and go live as a hermit in the woods somewhere. It's my wanting to overcome all obstacles and not let it hold me back and hinder me. It's about still doing things that make me deeply afraid. I fail, and I get back up over and over again. I live with anxiety, depression, and panic disorder, and I work hard to not let it control my life.
