ever since i got my allergy for the first time i wondered how people could actually like sports and working out, etc. but now. i get it. i fucking get it. they like it bc its not fucking painful and they dont start itching 2 minutes after starting

Big fan of when a character's grief/trauma/guilt manifests as physical symptoms. Big fan of characters keeping things so tight inside them that it makes them sick. Big fan of when the line blurs between a character's mental trauma and physical illness until it's hard to tell which is which anymore.

ISTG if any of my tests come back positive I will riot.

#these motherfuckers have suspected that *something* might be wrong with me that there might be an autoimmune disorder causing this #and have refused to test for shit until recently #meanwhile I'm sitting here with the lung capacity of an 80 yo lifelong smoker and hands that sometimes don't work and hearing issues #that I didn't have before #oh but if I start getting sudden headaches different to what I normally experience I'm supposed to get my ass to the ER #mind you they didn't explain what I'm supposed to say at the ER #have you ever gone to the ER for a headache??? Because I have and I had to wait 6 fucking hours to be seen while I threw up and blacked out #from the pain #so wtf am I meant to say at the ER 'oh hi yes i was told by my doctor if my headaches increased or changed to come here pls take me in' ???#TBD

Doctor prescribing pain meds: Are you sure you don't want to try diet and exercise first? These pills are so bad for you. Yeah technically the list of side effects for this pain medication is a lot shorter than it is for your other medications, but the thing is, they might make you TOO happy. And we hate addicts. I just think destroying your stomach lining and liver with 2000mg acetaminophen and 1600mg ibuprofen per day would be a lot safer, because you definitely don't want "happiness" as a side effect of medication. Not being in pain and being happy is just too addictive and addiction is bad.
