The next day Horgan phoned Kelly up and told him that they should both put the play on. In the pub Kelly explained to Horgan that he had written a play. They again met each other some years later while both drunk in a Camden pub. They had both initially met in the early 1990s at LOST youth theatre where they performed in a production of Anton Chekov's The Seagull. Kelly has credited Sharon Horgan for making him become a writer. Shcherban's situation came as a result of him having to flee (with other members of the theatre company) from Belarus to London as a means to escape political censorship and persecution in the aftermath of the 2010 Belarusian presidential election, where oppositional candidates had been arrested. Kelly offered his home to Shcherban as a place to stay when Shcherban was facing homelessness.

So I decided to share my GCSE results anyway. These are just if you were interested in knowing them! I’m actually pretty happy with English, because I knew I wasn’t going to do greatly in them anyway!
Despite having no past papers for English literature + language and maths, you all persisted. Having a mixture of numbers and letters is confusing, yet you all adapted to it. The fact that the exams have been so shaken this year from Manchester to Grenfell; from Tybalt hating his own family to Darwin drawn as a money; you made it. You were able to pick up that black ballpoint pen; that's a fact. May you get the results that you deserve and your hard work paid off ✨
thursday was results day and i managed to achieve 10 A*s! i am so incredibly grateful for these grades and proud of myself for working to get these (still in disbelief, especially that 300/300 in computing, i mean how?!) i’m so happy and i hope that everyone else who received their grades is also happy!
i’d like to take a moment to remind you that you don’t need to be naturally gifted or a genius to get good grades! all you need is a good work ethic and the ability to push yourself, identify your weaknesses and work at them and dedication!
