“Morning, parental unit” your blond son stands on the door joining your library and the solarium in which you often humored visits.

“Morning, uhm, offspring?” Your hand reaches towards the book shelf without minding him, people said children his age find joy in speaking and behaving weirdly, and yours wasn't an exception, if his giggles meant something.

“I heard you speaking with mister Diluc about visiting Sumeru”

“It's bad to eavesdrop” softly you chastise him but he pouts and stomps.

“I wanna go! You told me dad lives there, I wanna meet him”

“Shush! I told you that as our secret” you close the book you were skimming over but sigh as you see his yellow eyes “but last month when I told you to come for a festival in Sumeru but you didn't want to go”

“Because aunties Eula and Amber were going to teach me how to skyyyy” he whines the last word, already sensing you wouldn't want to take him there.

“Bratty child” you groan “fine, if you manage to make up for the 4 days we will not be here with your tutor I will take you” and as you finish talking you hear him slamming the door shut and his bare feet hitting the floor as he runs away.

And, somehow, your usually mischievous child managed to work hard enough to make up for a few absences, or so said his tutor, who you still believed was under the spell of his puppy eyes, just like when he managed to smuggle two cats and a cryo slime.

“Karen, stay close, we have to go to the akademiya to check some paperwork and sit through some meetings” you grab his forearm, dragging him away from the colorful stained glass mobiles and the fluffy beasts carrying spices and fruit.

After a fair bit of bickering with every stand selling something he has never seen you manage to reach the akademiya, even if Karen was almost being dragged.

Popping your head on the administration room you see a row of desks, a familiar face standing out amongst the sea of brown hair, a long gray hair standing up tall from his scalp.

Alhaitham is lounging in his desk, a book on one hand and a pen on the other, seeing him so calm makes you decide against bothering him and rather to ask one of his coworkers, even if you have to wait for a little bit while they finish transcribing as you chat them up, knowing it could be intimidating to have you stand silently besides them.

“C'mon let's just go to himmm, he looks like he is just lazing arounddd” Karen tugs on the bottom of your tunic but you ignore his little tantrum and keep asking the girl about the date she told you she will have after work.

Seemingly waiting for five minutes was too much of a waste of time that could be used to explore this nation. Sneaking silently behind you he stands before Alhaitham’s desk, but is ignored as he has his noise canceling earbuds and Karen isn't taller than the desk.

“Hey” he says, no answer “Heeeyy” no answer, now ticked off Karen slams his small hands against the thick wood board “HEY! STOP IGNORING ME”

Alhaitham just peeks his head towards him, not hearing the noise but seeing his hands, but when he looks at him his annoyed look and yellow eyes seem too familiar.

He opens his mouth, eyes half closed as if he was thinking about something.

Now noticing he was causing the ruckus you drag him by the armpits so he stops hitting the desk, as you start making Karen apologize you see Alhaitham's face. His eyebrows now almost up with his hairline and his green eyes uncharacteristically wide, but quickly he changes into a smirk as Karen apologizes for yelling.

“Please don't tell me it was-”

“Keep reading your book”

“Not my guest's bed~” he teases while grabbing his book, expecting the office to be calm again when the door slams open again, a blond huffing and puffing ready to face his housemate.

“YOU… how come you always grab my keys?! I couldn't enter the house for 2 hours!” to which al haitham tugs a set of keys out of his pockets and dangles three keys and a lion doll.

“Ugh, calm down. Why even wait 2 hours if you already know where I work?”

Under all their yapping you mumble something to your son “that is your dad” and you let a small promise to make both meet if he is busy, but after 5 ish minutes of bickering and the paperwork you needed snug in your hand it's obvious it will be quicker to just end this fight yourself.

“Kaveh? Oh, hi, it's been so long” one of your hands falls on his shoulder, making him notice your presence “like 4 years ago?” You ask as you feel Karen hug one of your legs.

“oh, yeah, it's been so long” he laughs lightly, feeling suddenly bashful.

“It's a shame I was so busy I was just able to visit Sumeru, someone wanted to meet you” the flat part of your nail rakes through your son's hair.

“Huh?” He just now notices the kid behind you and his bright hair.

“Could you take care of him for a second? I have to finish a meeting and I should be able to meet you two”

“Yep! I will show him around and we can meet at the cafe, in sure we will have a lot to talk about”

Don't dare to run away so fast... Who allowed you to use my house like a motel

Some HCs about the FreaKey couple even though I dont play the game...please dont kill me for this lolololol...

A.B.A gets jealous of other couples (she stalked them in public spaces from afar) who are more lovey dovey than her and Paracelsus. So to "spice" things up, she reads dating and romance tips on a (stolen) teen magazine that suggests those shoddy dating ideas and boasting to others that they're the end game (Paracelsus and others feels awkward as she says this).

After their arcade mode story, Paracelsus begins to feel guilt about having to manipulate A.B.A to wield him as a blood thirsty weapon. He knew A.B.A doesn't have hate in her heart, and saw how loving she actually is without her possessive traits. One example is when she polishes his brass parts after battle. She also tries to prop him in a comfortable position when at rest because she feels bad that he isnt mobile like she is.

Paracelsus admits, although not in a romantic way (sadly), that A.B.A is beautiful in her own way despite the uncanny nature of her origin. He says this in the most vague and bleakest way possible, yet A.B.A hyperventilated when she hears this.

Because of Paracelsus' statement on her beauty, she doesn't mind not fitting in with humans because his encouragement is all what she needed.

Let's say that A.B.A is considered attractive in their universe, minus the eye bags and the unkempt look- if someone ever compliments her in the slightest (grim extent is someone cat calls her) by a stranger, she would feel like she betrayed her husband for catching someone's eye. Mixture of frustration, shame, timidness, and anger would flow into her that she ultimately resorts to violence as a solution to the incomprehensible feeling. Paracelsus on the other hand would probs feel disgusted at the stranger's rude behavior, justifying his wife's violent outburst (ah yes, toxicity)

If another girl/woman compliments her though, she would be confused and scared as to why they would do such and not go after her husband. Because of her timid nature, she isn't used to hear positive things from others up until Elphelt (lol)

A.B.A's favorite color is blue, probs because she read somewhere or thought it's the calmest color. Blue in nature (partaining to animals) is usually rare, so it could also signify that she's drawn to things that are unique. (Or I could be wrong. I'm probably am--)

Speaking of the color blue, A.B.A attempted to dye her hair blue, but because of her vivacious red hair before, it resulted into greenish color (I know some fans theorize that her hair oxidized bc of her unusual body composition, but I wanna lean on the fact that she tries to fit in the outside world).

Paracelsus inspired her into liking color blue when he was talking about his past travels (at the risk of making A.B.A envy his previou's wielders ofc)

A.B.A was born with impeccable knowledge, thus explains why she speaks in such an authoritative manner. However since she lived in isolation for the first 10 years of her life, she does not know how humans speak in modern day. Paracelsus told her stories and spoke about philosophies only demons have access to.

Regarding small humans (as A.B.A likes to call the children), she wondered what it was like to grow up from a helpless being to a capable one, often lamenting that she hadn't had a literal childhood like a normal being. To cheer her up, Paracelsus suggested that their next date is at the park where there are swings and see-saws. Up to you how that's gonna work out lol

sooo.... anyone else ever wondered how different ATLA would have been if aang had been frozen at age 16 instead of age 12?

yeah... me too 😌 my new fanfic "the teenager in the iceberg" follows the events of the show, but with only aang aged up, while everyone else remains their canon age.

also...cmon....how funny is it to switch zuko and aang's iconic dialogue to "you're just a teenager!" "...so are you?"

Katara watched Aang take one last, painful look at the temple, then turn to the sky ahead, lit up in shades of orange, pink, and gold. She swore she could see arrows in every cloud, arrows like the ones inked across Aang’s body, and the gentle breeze that carried the crisp night air towards them seemed to wrap around them like a loving spirit.

“...You have no idea where we’re going, do you?” Sokka sighed, turning the map that was held against Appa’s saddle with a couple of rocks toward himself. “I’ve been charting our progress, and it’s starting to look more like a scrap of paper a toddler is practising circles on than a navigational tool.”

“C’mon Sokka, I’m an Air nomad, travel is in my blood. I have a very strong internal compass. Besides, you’ll find that as a nomad, I’m a master of evasive manoeuvring.” Katara raised an eyebrow, looking up from her spot near the back of the saddle as she stitched a rip in Sokka’s pants. “Besides,” Aang continued, typical teenage boy overconfidence emitting from his tone of voice. “I know it’s near water.”

Sokka leaned over the edge of the saddle, eyes scanning the blue expanse below them that stretched as far as the eye could see. “We must be getting close then,” he scoffed, his tone dripping in sarcasm as he slouched back into his spot across from Katara.

“Aang,” she said distractedly, “could you hold this for me?” She handed him the mirror.

“Y-yeah, no problem.”

She tugged out her hair ties, flipping her head upside down for a moment to make sure that it had all gotten loose, then she gingerly tugged a few tendrils of water from the nearby ocean and wrapped tiny streams around her hair, tugging out the crimped braid pattern and reviving her curls. Then, she carefully bent the remaining liquid back out.

She couldn’t see his face through her thick hair as she stood back up, but from his voice, Aang seemed impressed. “I get that you haven’t been able to learn any big combat moves, but for someone whose bending is self- taught, you sure have a pretty good handle on these smaller things.”

She properly flipped her head up now, curls and waves bouncing around her face. Her dark brown locks shone with honey-toned highlights, all different shades of caramel and chocolate sparkling as they framed her face. She reached up, gently twisting and clipping a few strands out of the way, but a few wayward pieces still fell forward, gently brushing against soft, full lips and smooth skin. Aang awkwardly froze for a moment, caught off guard by how different she looked when her hair was loose and free. He had a weird urge to tell her so, but bit his tongue, instead focusing on her answer.

“I learned most of the smaller things from helping Gran-Gran.” Katara’s eyes sparkled, clearly caught up in a vision of home as she reached up to brush up her hair. “ As she’s gotten older, her range of mobility has started leaving her. It’s not really comfortable or safe for her to stoop over to wash her hair, so I learned how to bring the water to her and wash it while she was sitting up, then I learned how to dry it for her fast.”

Sokka yelped, his voice defensive and offensive all at once. “There is no way a bunch of girls in cutesy makeup and dresses managed to tie me up.”

“Awe, you think our makeup is cutesy? How sweet .” The girl's voice was crooning at first, sweet and gentle, but Katara could see from the way her muscles flexed as she held Sokka by the collar that there was venom hiding behind those words. She was right. “Throw him to the Unagi.”

“Katara, c’mon, we’re supposed to be sticking together, where are you going?” Aang tugged at her arm until she was facing him, looking at her earnestly as if he hadn’t basically been flirting with all of those girls back there.

The words came out before she could stop them. “I thought monks weren’t supposed to go around flirting with any random girl, and they’re definitely not supposed to go around catering to a village full of fangirls.”

Aang raised an eyebrow, his expression teasing in a way that made Katara want to splash the smirk off of his face in a wave of water. “You sure have a lot of opinions on what you think monks are supposed to do, considering that I’m the only one you’ve ever met.” He shifted his weight, leaning in a bit closer. “Matter of fact, maybe it's just that you have a lot of opinions on what you think I’m supposed to be doing.”

Katara stiffened at the memory of the words that Sokka had just said minutes before. “Why would I care what you’re doing? I don’t. ”

Aang shrugged, reaching past her to grab a papaya and biting into it. After swallowing, he reached into Katara’s satchel, his hand brushing her waist as he pulled out some coins and quietly thanked the vendor. “Keep telling yourself that, Katara.” Hearing his name from her lips did something to her, but she kept her gaze level, eyes blazing with flame until Aang backed off.

This is a ref for Leo I have for an upcoming fanfic, but this is probably generally how I'll draw post-movie ROTTMNT Leo half the time now.

Also Leo uses a cane because I use a cane because of injuries sustained— not too severe, but mobility aid is needed to make things easier after that

He still has his other blades, but this is to showcase the more headcanonny art. And yeah, on the combat cane, the height adjustments are replaced with buttons to (1) active the shocky-shocky! and (2) detach the top. I'll probably update it bc I think Donnie would go ham on upgrading it for Leo.

Guide to BotW Cooking: For Fun and Profit

With Tears of the Kingdom coming out in less than a month, I figured I might as well make something on this before it needs to be completely reworked.

Ever wondered which dishes were the best to make for each effect? Look no further. Elixirs will be last in the guide, so skip to the end if you just want potions.

Up first, we have our plain ingredients. The lowest in value of these are the Wildberry, Apple, and Hylian Shroom, and the highest are the Raw Gourmet Meat and Raw Whole Bird.

Of these ingredients, however, only a select few are available on the Great Plateau, during which you only have 3 hearts. So the best 3-heart meals available to you are:

Steamed Fruit: 1 Apple + 1 Hyrule Herb

Fish and Mushroom Skewer: 1 Hyrule Bass + 1 Hylian Shroom

Meat and Mushroom Skewer: 1 Raw Meat/1 Raw Bird + 1 Hylian Shroom

Once you get out of the Great Plateau, however, things get a little different. Here's the most efficient/easiest to get recipes that are ONLY heart-restorative (including Fairies, which appear later in this post), from 3 hearts all the way to the max of 30—keep in mind that these definitely aren't the most exciting recipes out there. You're going to need a lot of meat, a lot of fairies, and a lot of apples.

3 hearts: 1 Raw Meat + 1 Apple

4 hearts: 2 Raw Meat

5 hearts: 2 Raw Meat + 1 Apple

6 hearts: 3 Raw Meat

7 hearts: 3 Raw Meat + 1 Apple

8 hearts: 4 Raw Meat

9 hearts: 4 Raw Meat + 1 Apple

10 hearts: 5 Raw Meat

11 hearts: 1 Fairy + 1 Apple

12 hearts: 1 Fairy + 1 Raw Meat

13 hearts: 1 Fairy + 1 Raw Meat + 1 Apple

14 hearts: 1 Fairy + 2 Raw Meat

15 hearts: 1 Fairy + 2 Raw Meat + 1 Apple

16 hearts: 1 Fairy + 3 Raw Meat

17 hearts: 2 Fairies

18 hearts: 1 Fairy + 4 Raw Meat

19 hearts: 1 Fairy + 1 Raw Prime Meat + 3 Raw Meat

20 hearts: 1 Fairy + 2 Raw Prime Meat + 2 Raw Meat

21 hearts: 2 Fairies + 1 Apple

23 hearts: 2 Fairies + 1 Raw Meat + 1 Apple

24 hearts: 2 Fairies + 2 Raw Meat

25 hearts: 2 Fairies + 2 Raw Meat + 1 Apple

26 hearts: 2 Fairies + 3 Raw Meat

27 hearts: 3 Fairies

28 hearts: 2 Fairies + 2 Raw Prime Meat + 1 Raw Meat

29 hearts: 2 Fairies + 3 Raw Prime Meat

Full Recovery: 3 Fairies + 1 Apple

Fairies can be obtained by cutting down tall grass, the easiest source of meat is foxes or herons, and apple trees grow just about anywhere in the southeastern quarter of Hyrule. Prime Meat can be obtained by shooting down deer across the world.

However, if we're going by rupee count, then by far the most profitable non-effect meal is:

Meat Skewer: 5 Raw Gourmet Meat — 490 Rupees

Of course, this is all under the assumption that you don't want to use any kind of extra benefits.

Hearty meals, as a default, give you a full recovery. A single Hearty Truffle, cooked into a Mushroom Skewer, restores all your hearts and gives you a bonus one, while only being worth ♢10 total. If you have one on hand, I highly recommend using it instead of fairies and prime meat.

When cooking Hearty meals, it's important to remember that you can only go up to a max of 30 hearts in total. So, starting at 3 hearts at the beginning of the game, you should only ever be going for +27.

That being said, here's the most efficient way to get to max hearts from any heart level, barring 3 hearts and 4, as the max number of hearts you can get without a bonus is +25. Keep in mind that the hearts here are NOT how many they give, they're how many YOU have:

5 hearts: 5 Big Hearty Radishes

6 hearts: 1 Hearty Durian + 4 Big Hearty Radishes

7 hearts: 2 Hearty Durians + 3 Big Hearty Radishes

8 hearts: 3 Hearty Durians + 2 Big Hearty Radishes

9 hearts: 4 Hearty Durians + 1 Big Hearty Radish

10 hearts: 5 Hearty Durians

11 hearts: 4 Hearty Durians + 1 Hearty Radish

12 hearts: 3 Hearty Durians + 2 Hearty Radish

13 hearts: 4 Hearty Durians + 1 Hearty Truffle

14 hearts: 4 Hearty Durians

15 hearts: 3 Hearty Durians + 1 Hearty Radish

16 hearts: 3 Hearty Durians + 2 Hearty Truffles

17 hearts: 3 Hearty Durians + 1 Hearty Truffle

18 hearts: 3 Hearty Durians

19 hearts: 2 Hearty Durians + 1 Hearty Radish

20 hearts: 2 Hearty Durians + 2 Hearty Truffles

21 hearts: 2 Hearty Durians + 1 Hearty Truffle

22 hearts: 2 Hearty Durians

23 hearts: 1 Hearty Durian + 1 Hearty Radish

24 hearts: 2 Hearty Radishes

25 hearts: 1 Hearty Durian + 1 Hearty Truffle

26 hearts: 1 Hearty Durian

27 hearts: 1 Hearty Radish

28 hearts: 2 Hearty Truffles

29 hearts: 1 Hearty Truffle

Satori Mountain is absolutely your go-to for the majority of these ingredients. Individually, durians can be found consistently throughout the Faron region growing on trees, big radishes grow north of Skull Lake in Akkala, truffles are pretty common in Hebra, and radishes grow around Hyrule Ridge, where those weird mushroom-trees are. If you need a quick-and-easy substitute, any regular-sized radish can be swapped out for a Hearty Blueshell Snail from the coast near Lurelin village.

Interestingly, the most hearty ingredient—the Big Hearty Radish—is NOT the most profitable. That'd be the Hearty Bass, which can be found here:

Hearty Fish Skewer: 5 Hearty Bass — 260 Rupees

The meat skewer beats this recipe by over 200 Rupees, though, and Gourmet Meat is frankly much easier to get if you spend a lot of time in Hebra or Eldin.

Now for Stamina dishes. You can get two wheels past your first one, and each is divided into 5 segments. This is tricky, because the game, does not like making whole-wheels beyond the first one; if you ever equal 2 wheels, it'll bump you up to 2.2 instead. On top of that, the first wheel likes to auto-complete itself; if you have 4/5ths of a wheel, it'll round it up to a whole. For the sake of simplicity, I'll be giving the ones that have at least the wheels described, in two lists—first is the fewest ingredients, then second is the easiest and cheapest.

Fewest Ingredients:

One Wheel: 1 Staminoka Bass

Two Wheels: 2 Staminoka Bass

Three Wheels: 3 Staminoka Bass

Staminoka takes the cake by far, and you can find it pretty easily in the river between the Dueling Peaks.

Easiest/Cheapest Ingredients:

One Wheel: 4 Stamella Shrooms

Two Wheels: 3 Courser Bee Honey + 2 Stamella Shrooms

Three Wheels: 3 Courser Bee Honey + 1 Staminoka Bass + 1 Stamella Shroom

Courser Bee Honey is easily found in the forest near Fort Hateno, but there's a few spots of it on the Great Plateau, as well. Stamella Shrooms, you can find early all around the old man's hut on the west side of the Plateau.

Money-wise, you need to go above the practical limit to make:

Energizing Fish Skewer: 5 Staminoka Bass — 260 Rupees

It's the same price as the Hearty Bass skewer, though much easier to get in the early game.

Next up, the Enduring stat. Like Hearty, this goes beyond what your current heart level is, and even a tiny bit replenishes your limited stamina. Unlike Hearty, however, you can still get those extra wheels even if you've maxed out your Stamina stat.

You can get up to two wheels extra. The best (read: only) way to do that in a dish is with Endura carrots:

Enduring Fried Wild Greens: 5 Endura Carrots

This is also the priciest Enduring-only meal, coming in at 420 Rupees. Endura carrots grow most abundantly on Satori Mountain, but a quick, easy way to get them early is behind the Great Fairy Fountain at Kakariko Village.

With these next effects, there's a new thing to factor in—time. These offer limited protection, but only for a certain period until they run out. I'm going to list out the best dishes for each level of a stat, with the max amount of time it can provide—both with, and without dragon parts.

Cold Resistance

Level 1 12:30 : 5 Spicy Peppers

Level 2 12:30 : 4 Spicy Peppers + 1 Sunshroom

Level 1 30:00 : 1 Spicy Pepper + 1 Shard of Farosh's Horn

Level 2 30:00 : 3 Sunshrooms + 1 Shard of Farosh's Horn

Spicy Peppers grow at the edges of snowy regions, starting in the Great Plateau. Sunshrooms can be found in the forest behind Hateno, near Purah's hill. Farosh is listed for its horn because it's, by far, the easiest and most consistent to hunt—just go here:

And wait until nightfall.

Heat Resistance

Armoranth is pretty easy to find in Akkala, and is absolutely everywhere along the western edge of Hebra. Fortified Pumpkins, on the other hand, are exclusive to Kakariko, and have to be bought; stock up whenever you can.

Dragon parts all have varying degrees of time-increasing properties and hearts added to a dish. However, they're barey worth anything cooked; if you're selling dishes, keep the dragon parts OUT of it.

Star Fragments are more useful for adding bonuses, which vary depending on what's in them; since all dragon parts give bonuses, never mix the two, especially dragon horns, as they can't even benefit from the +0:30 a Star Fragment grants.

Fairies are fantastic for hearts, but not much else. If you've got a dish that has an empty space, and you've got a fairy on hand, you should add it for the extra hearts.

Now, finally, we get to the potions.

There are two factors which contribute to a potion's value—its bugs, and its monster parts. While each tier of monster parts does the same thing to a potion's contents, Bokoblin Guts and Lynel Guts have WILDLY different rupee prices.

Because of this, I'll give you the strongest potion without dragon parts for each type, then the most cost-effective one to sell. Elixirs VASTLY outstrip meals in sell price.

Strongest

Hearty: 4 Hearty Lizards + 1 Keese Eyeball (+16 hearts)

Energizing: 2 Energetic Rhino Beetles + 1 Keese Eyeball (+3 wheels)

Enduring: 4 Tireless Frogs + 1 Keese Eyeball (+4/5 extra wheel)

Spicy: 3 Warm Darners + 2 Keese Eyeballs (Level 2 13:50)

Chilly: 3 Cold Darners + 2 Keese Eyeballs (Level 2 13:50)

Electro: 3 Electric Darners + 2 Keese Eyeballs (Level 3 13:50)

Fireproof: 4 Smotherwing Butterflies + 1 Keese Eyeball (Level 2 13:10)

Hasty: 4 Hot-Footed Frogs + 1 Keese Eyeball (Level 3 7:10)

Sneaky: 1 Sunset Firefly + 4 Keese Eyeballs (Level 1 14:40)

Mighty: 1 Bladed Rhino Beetle + 4 Keese Eyeballs (Level 1 13:30)

Tough: 1 Rugged Rhino Beetle + 4 Keese Eyeballs (Level 1 13:30)

In terms of strength, some elixirs can only get up to their first stage, due to the limitations in bugs. Mighty, Tough, Sneaky, and Enduring are all better done as dishes than as elixirs.

All the beetles can be found relatively easily near the Lakeside Stable in Faron, though you have to be incredibly sneaky to creep up on them. All kinds of darners can be found flying around Rutile Lake, just southwest of Satori.

Hearty Lizards are all over Faron Woods and Satori, Hot-Footed Frogs can be cut out of the grass in Tabantha, Smotherwing Butterflies are sold by Beedle at the Wetland and East Akkala stables, and Tireless Frogs can be cut out of the grass when it rains in the Ridgeland area.

Now, the most profitable. You're going to want to do some Lynel-hunting.
