कुछ देर के लिए तो वापिस आ,

कैसे जीए तेरे बिन यह तो बता।

क्यों तोड़े तूने वो वादे,

क्या यही तक थे साथ हमारे।

तू भूल गया वो सब,

पर मेरे लिए रोज खुल जाते हैं,

वो बंद यादों के पीटारे।

खड़ी हूं अकेली अब अंधेरे रास्तों पे,

जहां दिखे ना मुझे कोई गली अपने आगे।

कहां जाऊं, कैसे जाऊं,

यह मन तेरे बिना बस यहां - वहां भागे।

तेरे जाने के गम का गम लगता तो रो लेती मैं,

कुछ देर लगती पर संभाल लेती मैं।

मगर तू तो बीन बताए चला गया,

बता कर जाता तो खुद में यूं ना खोती मैं,

तू सीखा कर जाता कैसे जीऊ तेरे बिन,

तो तुझीसे तेरे बिना जीना सीख लेती मै।
