Hi! You don't have to answer this if you don't want to, that's totally fine! But you talking about Orville Peck's appropriation of indigenous culture with his fashion choices made me realize that I had never considered that there might be some aspects of "cowboy clothes" that white ppl shouldn't wear and that was super wrong of me. Again, you totally don't have to answer this, but I was just wondering what ways a white person could wear "cowboy clothes" in a manner that wasn't disrespectful? Or perhaps, should we not wear them at all? I can't afford T yet, but when I can finally get it I was planning on getting a cowboy outfit to embrace my trans mascness, but if that would be wrong of me I can scrap that plan no problem!

Ehhh again this is actually SUPER HARD to answer because almost everything about cowboy fashion & the cowboy "aesthetics" are lifted directly from Native American fashion and culture, either because a lot of cowboys back in the day were Native American themselves (including Afro-Natives & Indigenous Mexican vaqueros) or they were White & just kinda. stole the look from the Native cowboys due to a number of factors.

If you google "cowboy jewelry" the first thing that comes up is silverwork & belts & turquoise jewelry, which is taken from Navajo metalwork. Fringed leather clothing? Again, many Native tribes did that (& in some tribes the fringes could mean something, its not just for looks), most popularily with vests, jackets, and pants. A lot if the leather jackets were a result of Native women just sewing their clothes the same but in a European styled cut. Compare this "cowboy" look below to a Lakota war shirt: both have hair embellishments dangling from the arms.

Studded belts? Inspired by Cheyenne mirror belts, which often also have metal studs in them & you'll still see Native pow wow dancers have this in their regalia. Floral vests? A lot of the inspiration comes from Plains floral beadwork. Geometric patterns and blankets? Came from Southwest or Mexican Native American blankets & designs, ask any Navajo weaver & they'll tell you the same. Feathers in cowboy hats? Who else is famous for wearing feathers on their heads--? Native Americans. The look is still popular with older Native men.

Hell, if you visit this site that sells Western/cowboy fashion, you'll see a SHITTON of appropriation going on, taking Native imagery & designs, including one taken from Native American ledger art, all on White models.

The appropriation of Native culture and fashion in the cowboy/western sphere is ongoing, and the influence that Native fashion & culture has in Western/cowboy fashion as it is is absolutely MASSIVE. I once said in another post that the cowboy/western aesthetic essentially belongs to Native Americans, Latines (especially Mexicans), and Black people. And the history of White cowboys has been one largely of colonialism, racism, and displacement of Indigenous peoples, and the masculinity associated with White cowboys especially is also steeped into racism & American patriotism (think John Wayne. There's a reason he's an American icon who played cowboys & killing Indians in films.). I think the only thing that isn't influenced from either appropriation or colonization is like, jeans. Even the style of cowboy boots themselves and potentially chaps were influenced from vaqueros.

So if you're White I'm not sure that'd exactly be a good route to take because trying to seperate Indigenous elements from this fashion/look (nevermind the problematic history of White cowboys) is almost impossible. Obviously I can't force you to do anything, but honestly if I were you, I'd try a different direction, because otherwise I think you'll find trying to do this will be very hard.

frisk shrieked when they got one of those rock excavation kits from my bro.

(little known fact: frisk has an innate fascination with rocks.)

asgore gifted them an art kit.

alphys got them a mini salt lamp. they immediately licked it.

i got 'em a tungsten cube.

"Why are you so excited over a hunk of metal?"

"It's not a 𝘩𝘶𝘯𝘬, it's a 𝘤𝘶𝘣𝘦."

"It's a hunk of metal."

"I'm gonna 'hunk' this at your face in a second."

"Do you WANT to kill me?!"

"No. But stop calling it a hunk of metal. It's a tungsten cube."

"Why do you care, anyway? It's MY cube, not yours."

"It's boring."

"You underestimate my ability to find entertainment in shiny objects."

a lot of us had similar ideas, because flowey got a decent amount of (mostly dinosaur related) brick sets.

it's hard not to notice the pieces constantly strewn about flowey's half of their room.

might be purposeful.

tori also got him some simulator game. he apparently already had the others in the series, so it makes sense.

papyrus has been using the same pots and pans for ages.

they're a bit charred and dented in places.

so, paps got gifted new cookware.

undyne got him utensils, and alphys got the pots.

tori gave him new oven mitts that don't have holes in them, unlike the previous pair.

i got him a giant puzzle cube. it's got so many rows.

it'll take him forever to solve.

he seems excited.

mettaton got him a robe, because apparently paps been admiring his. they match now.

got asgore some new teacups.

his current ones work fine, but didn't have many ideas outside of that. besides, when have extras hurt anyone?

undyne gifted him a book on slang and how to use it.

alphys' face dropped when she saw it.

"have fun with that."

alphys was ecstatic about receiving a manga she's wanted for ages from undyne.

tori got her some t-shirts. the one alphys liked the most is printed with a ramen brand.

undyne was gifted another giant foam sword.

that was the most exciting one for her.

they've been into collecting these specific stuffed animal things lately, so i got alphys and undyne matching ones.

mettaton had a similar gift, but luckily we didn't end up on the exact same stuffed animal.

something i'll probably regret was getting mtt a tub of glitter.

i know he likes the stuff, but i'm realizing now how this is probably ending.

already preparing to have glitter stuck to me every time he's in the vicinity.

...so not much will change, actually.

papyrus gave him a pillow custom-altered to have mettaton's branding on it.

giving mtt an mtt themed item...

he loved it. suggested that paps could help design products with him at some point.

alphys' gift was apparently done earlier, as it was an adjustment that enabled him to sign things without having to worry about carrying pens.

because his finger turns into the pen. kinda neat, honestly.

napstablook's headphone cord was looking a bit rough, so that's what i got them.

simple, but they smiled.

must not have been too bad a choice.

mettaton gifted tickets to a live band. they'll go together at some point.

me and tori, being old nerdy bookworms, exchanged exactly that: books.

frisk gave tori a cutesy handmade card, signed "by frisk and flowey but mostly frisk" on the back.

asgore gave her a necklace.

she stared at it and flatly thanked him before tucking it into her purse.

undyne gave a pie tin. self-explanatory.

probably exactly as expected, grillby was gotten a lot of various kitchenwares.

we have a lot of cooks in our friend group, i realize.

anyway, he was fond of the sturdy glass mugs i picked out for him.

that's the notable stuff gift-wise.

as for stockings, i went with chocolate bars for the other adults.

plain, simple, don't know anyone who doesn't like it.

got frisk a bag of those fake rock chocolates. the ones that look exactly like real rocks. they always talk about wanting to eat certain rocks; figured this would be a better alternative to shattering their teeth on real ones.

gave flowey a bag of fake coal.

Actual Baby children who have no idea what they’re in for

So the Double Life anniversary is coming up, which is insane, and I thought I’d celebrate it! Kinda ish I guess?

I just did more designs of da kids

Buuuuut, this time I took it one step further to show them as actual children, together with their favorite parent (Apart from Johnny cause he loves both)

It was incredibly fun and I had a blast trying to make the lil block men in Hero Forge, maybe I’ll do it again some other time just by themselves lol

Baby Liana and Scar

Scar is the favorite parent cause he’s more chill and also he didn’t betray the family. Had a blast making him and his ranger outfit, I tried my best to get it as accurate as possible and I think I turned out great. Baby Liana’s outfit is really cute, it reminds me of the lil suit for the toddlers in The Sims 4. Also Jellie <3

Baby Wes and Impulse

Impulse is the favorite cause BDubs is…well he’s BDubs. Impulse was also a lot of fun, especially the more non human features, but the stupid I on his T-Shirt tripped me up, It's literally just a yellow blood stain lol. Seeing Baby Wes is also so strange, cause he's like without his shaggy stubble, dyed hair, and thicc af body. Now he's just a lil guy.

Baby Gertrude and Ren

Ren is the favorite because...well he didn't cheat. Very easy answer there. I've said this with everyone so far, but Ren was so fricking fun, I love his shirt and its colors, had a fricking blast. Gertrude is just a precious baby in a full princess costume, getting read a bedtime story, just an absolute gem. Also this is pre-sunglasses, mainly cause it looked weird with the plastic tiara she’s wearing.

Baby Johnny and both his dads :D

They good parents. Also, FUCK Jimmy, FUCK his bland generic looking ass skin, and FUCK hero forge for making it so hard to translate it. Zero enjoyment in the making of it, but Tango was hella fun. Baby Johnny is honestly just my lad but smaller. He probably has a lil tooth gap too. Prime boy.

Baby Jassy and Etho

Etho is the favorite because Jassy finds him very cool lol. Etho was more difficult than I first thought, mostly because I wanted to make him more than just Kakashi so I avoided the Anime hairstyle and customed the hell out of the patchy hair, but he looks great! Baby Jassy was a huge Etho fangirl (The OG Ethogirl lol), so her look is Just Him but smaller.

Baby Jekiv and Cleo

They’re the favorite because she didn’t fucking leave, Martyn. Cleo was surprisingly easy honestly, but that shouldn’t really have shocked me. Just any green skinned person with red hair kinda looks like Cleo. Wanted to make them look a little different from Jek, but yeah I guess Zombie genetics are just that strong. Baby Jek is without the hood, that’s a later development, so his patchy hair is in plain sight. He hates it.

Baby Novo and Pearl

Pearl is the favorite because she’s more fun. Pearl has a really easy outfit to make, and I thoroughly enjoyed it honestly. Baby Novo doesn’t have the runny makeup yet, so he looks…surprisingly normal. Just an ordinary child honestly. I really liked making his outfit too, especially the colors.

• He was just ready to get into bed when he heard the door. He was praying it wasn't some opponent wanting to fight super late.

• He slid it open to see you covered in water, freezing. He ushers you inside and very quickly gets you a towel to dry off with.

• He swiftly makes something warm for you to drink, and he also whips up some hot food for you have as well. He puts a lot of effort in, really wanting you to enjoy it and be impressed by his cooking.

• He gets you a t-shirt and some pants and when you're done changing, you two sit under his kotatsu, eating and chatting about all sorts of things.

• It's been a long time since he's had someone over with him, he feels really joyful having another person there to keep him company, especially that person being you.

• He probably has a spare futon he pulls out for you. He very slickly places it right next to his.

• He can barely fall asleep. Knowing that you're so close to him in bed makes his heart rate double.

• You'll wake up with his arm reached around you, your two faces incredibly close to each other (he's a messy sleeper)

• When he wakes, he's pretty embarrassed about it and apologizes. If you say you enjoyed his cuddling though, he'll be a bit of a blushing mess. He'll hold you a lot more from then on.

Kozue

• She was reading manga in her room late at night when she heard the echoing knock at the door.

• When she opened it to see you, wet and cold from the heavy rain, she immediately lets you in, the concern showing on her face. She then quickly ushers you to her shower, not wanting you to catch a cold.

• Her night clothes are really cute. She wears an oversized t-shirt with cute hello kitty shorts.

• While you shower, she makes some warm tea and gets you a snack.

• As for spare clothes, she has some more oversized shirts and shorts, so she lends them to you for the night. She doesn't mind you borrowing them anyway.

• You two sit in her room and drink the (super fucking delicious) tea she made. The both of you joke around as she super cutely rambles about the plot of the manga she was reading.

• She actually offers for you to stay the night and she timidly asks if maybe...you could sleep in her bed along with her. Her face is completely red asking. When you say yes though, she's overjoyed (but super nervous about it as well) She really wants to get closer to you.

• The both of you very awkwardly squeeze on her bed, faces almost inches apart. Her face is overcome with a deep blush. She slowly reaches her hand over to you and holds you close to her.

• She'll slowly fall asleep, her legs reaching over onto you, as she hugs you close like a fluffy pillow (she's a bit of a messy sleeper as well)

Katou

• He was kinda pissed hearing a loud knock on his door super late into the night. He wasn't dressed or prepared for company whatsoever. Quite honestly, he was ready to throw hands immediately.

• But when he cracks it open to see you soaking wet in front of his apartment doorway, he doesn't really hesitate to unlock the door for you to come in.

• He's surprisingly a little worried about you, and asks if your alright. He gets you a towel and sits you down at his table. He was drinking before you came in, so he'll offer you a cold one.

• For some spare clothes, he gets you some big t-shirt with a cool design and some knee reaching shorts. That night you realize just how baggy his clothing style is. (soulja boy ass fit 😭)

• He's a bit embarrassed to be seen with so little clothing on. He's wearing an oversized hoodie without any pants on, so of course he's a little embarrassed, especially if you tease him about the silly design on his underwear.

• When you have to stay over for the rest of the night, he hesitates and asks if you really have nowhere else to go for the night. He's incredibly nervous. He's never had anyone spend the night with him, especially someone he really likes like you.

• I bet the two of you would stay up all night playing video games and drinking, maybe showing each other your music playlists. He usually pulls all-nighters by himself, but its much funner with you there.

• You'd probably get tired first and lean your head on his shoulder and drift off. He's completely still and his sweet timid mode really shines through. The two of you eventually end up falling asleep cuddled close to each other on his couch.

Katsumi

• He probably just got home from the dojo super late, and already got a little wet from the rain. He'd be just done with his shower when he hears the doorbell to his apartment.

• He would open up the door (with only a towel covering his waist, mind you) to see you soaking wet and shivering. He would quickly get you inside, not realizing how absolutely exposed he is.

• He's a little embarrassed at first, but he may say some shitty flirtatious comment when he catches you staring at him (couldn't blame you them tiddies are HUGE)

• He would get dressed quickly and do everything he possibly could for you. Food, water, whatever you need he wont hesitate to give it you. When you finish drying off, he'll get you a warm blanket. He really loves giving you attention, especially if you give some back to him.

• He'll lend you some clothes that are definitely a little too big for you. The shirt tends to drift down your shoulder often.

• He lets you chill out on his bed with him as he tells silly stories from the dojo. The two of you laugh and chat throughout the late night. Your smile really lights him up, he thinks it's absolutely beautiful.

• The both of you would be laying down staring up at his ceiling together, as he gently reaches his hand over to yours and squeezes. He doesn't want this time with you to end.

• You both fall asleep talking with each other, your hands still interlocked. Katsumi couldn't be happier.

Kureha

• He usually stays up late reading through medical books or finishing up some papers from work, the heavy rain helping him focus. But he didn't exactly expect a knock on a his door at such a late time of night.

• When he opens to see you soaked, he lets you in and leads you to his shower. He was clearly a bit concerned for you, although him showing concern was a bit rare, you could tell he didn't want you catching a cold.

• He sets out some clothes for you. A big, white button up shirt with the smallest pair of shorts he could find lying around.

• By the time you get out of the shower, you see he's sitting at his bar with two wine glasses in front of him. He waves you over for a drink with him.

• Whenever he's with you, he feels his nerves calm. He feels he could truly speak to you about anything. You're incredibly beloved to him.

• He unties his ponytail and gently takes off his glasses, letting you get a good look at his gentle eyes and beautiful locks flowing down his back. He turns to you and shows you a small smile. You don't see him smile like that too often. You must be pretty special.

• You two spend most of the night chatting and having some more drinks. You never see him relax like he does with you.

• He offers you a side on his bed to sleep on. The way he elegantly takes off his button up for bed is pretty distracting. He's hella pretty.

• He might go in for the kiss and smooch you on the forehead before you two fall asleep. He truly cares about you. He hasn't cared so much about someone since his little brother.

Voiceplay Visuals: Creep

Not a Voiceplay video I watch as often as others (though I've also listened to it a few times on Spotify), but I know there are certainly a few things for me to talk about with this one, and since I skipped I Can't Make You Love Me, this one can also kinda make up for it.

Creep was uploaded on the 15th of July, 2023, it's another guest feature of Anthony Gargiula, and, in a very rare case for Voiceplay, the credit for both video and arrangement goes solely to Eli! (And he also did the lighting design, of course.) Eli rarely does arranging for Voiceplay, and when he does, it's in collaboration with Layne, such as with the Queen Medley and Enemy. The only other time he did an arrangement all by himself (in the past 7 or so years at least, not counting the older stuff) was for Eleanor Rigby back in 2021. Anyway, let's get into this!

One thing I must immediately note/mention is that although Eli is credited with the video production overall, the description also says "w[ith] concepts from Casa de la Castellucci" (fancy! 😝) Apparently what this means is that Eli was explaining his video concept to Geoff and Kathy via videocall, and they (I'm not sure/can't remember which one first had the idea) suggested the usage of a mirror (a mirror which was then provided by Cesar - a real collaborative effort for this one!) (And Eli and Tony directed this together also)

I'm not sure what's larger - Cesar's vocal range, or his acting range!!!! He's so talented and multi-faceted! Give him an acting award!

Speaking of acting abilities!! 🥺

Note how Geoff is wearing a plain long-sleeve t-shirt here, which isn't inherently unsual or anything typically notable, sure, but apparently (according to comments I've read), Geoff used to struggle with body image issues when he was younger, and here he sings the line "I want a perfect body", so for him to be wearing something that fully covers his arms and chest for this one? Not sure if it was fully intentional, but oof, hurts my heart a little bit 💔

(Also, on a cinematography note, the transitions between the different guys each sitting in front of the mirror are very smoothly done 👌)

Group shot! Interesting to note that the guest vocalist, Anthony, is not sitting in the middle here, which is rare for Voiceplay, but not entirely new. This really was Eli's song/video all the way (but Good For Him, and everyone else still got moments to shine as well!)

Screencaps still don't do it justice, but what a freaking flawless transition! And apparently it didn't involve any post-production editing magic at all! According to a comment or two on a reaction video, the other vocalists got out the way when the camera was fixed on Cesar, the lights were changed/dimmed right down, and the mirror (which I think was on wheels?) was quickly moved in front of him. The result is honestly *chefs kiss*

Damn. Bravo boys, bravo!

Not a super massive post I know, and a bit more of a sombre video, but my next post will certainly be longer, and the video much more fun! Stay tuned!

Sooooo I usually just post about my recent obsessions (that being tgcf rn), but I just had an internship and I figured since I fits my name I might as well post something about it.

I actually applied at a different company first, because everything was online and via email, so I didn't have to call anybody. And at first everything was looking great. I filled out the online formular, wrote a few emails with a lady from the human resources department, she said it's looking good and that she'll write me again when my application has been fully processed. After that I didn't hear from her for a while and then out of nowhere she's like "Sorry but we can't take anymore interns rn". So after emotionally recovering from that I replied with the typical "Sad to hear that, but thanks for your answer bla bla bla ... Also could I maybe apply for an internship at a later date?" Aaaaaannd I haven't heard from her til this day, so yeah I got the hint.

I then ended up at a smaller company, because my Mom knows a guy there (I think he is the husband of her great cousin or sth like that). I first had to suffer through some VERY awkward phone calls, but I somehow survived (I ended up giving them the wrong email, because I was so nervous, fuck you social anxiety, and even had to call them again because of it 🥲).

The internship wasn't bad, I originally wanted to do one as a graphic designer, but since the small company's marketing department consisted only of two people, who actually just were office management clerks, that specialized in marketing and knew all the Adobe programms, I had to compromise a little. Even though they were super nice and showed me all their tasks, I felt kinda useless, because I barely did anything in comparisson to them.

I had to:

- Check the new calender they designed in case they got holidays or something else wrong (they obviously didn't)

- Prepare a presentation on how to reache and then also hopefully get more trainees (they gave me way to much time for that, I'm used to pumping those out in two hours, because of school)

- Put some labels on Schnaps bottles, that they gave out to customers for their 125th anniversary

- Help packing up some other giveaways (like pens, measuring tape, t-shirts and so on)

The best thing was honestly overhearing all the gossip from the department next to us. My personal favourite was when they were talking about this one lady and one of the younger employes joked about her having an onlyfans. His older coworker obviously didn't know what that was, so he explained it to him and his reaction was just priceless. At first he was in denial, he thought he was joking, then he was in shock, because he just couldn't believe that people actually made money with this, and in the end he just stared laughing hysterically.

After the internship was over, I actually realized that they were making fun of me too and I feel kinda stupid for not realizing it earlier. Apparently it's very common here in Germany to refer to an overweight intern as a "Praktifant". A mix of the words Praktikan (=intern) and Elefant 🐘. The young guy, who made the onlyfans joke, always started playing "Colonel Hathi's March" from the Jungle Book shortly after I came in ...

Hazbin Hotel- Vaggie redesign review and critique

So finally……FINALLY….we got our redesign for Vaggie. My thoughts? Well it’s………I can’t say god awful, but it could have been better. https://twitter.com/HazbinHotel/status/1531787648401936384?s=20&t=HaOEAGSKXcclxrJxVzbcag  Once again, the drawing looks a little….off. I feel like Viv is the one who has been drawing these promo pics for the characters, and I dunno why but her art just looks stiff and awkward now. (But this one isn’t really that bad to me) 

Moving on to the actual design, I think all I can say as a whole is that they could have done more. The outfit they gave her is very…..basic, she looks like a schoolgirl. Even though I complained about the pilot design, at least before Vaggie had this whole goth X aesthetic, but here, I honestly have no idea what they were trying to go for, it just seems random in my eyes, and it doesn’t really make her stand out from the other characters. (And yes, I’ve seen some people say that maybe she’s dressed like that because she’s the Hotel manager and they wanted to make her look more presentable, but to me she just looks boring now with a typical red shirt and black skirt, she doesn’t stand out.) Speaking of standing out, NOT happy to see red on her, as her shirt and bow is now that color, because of COURSE we apparently can’t have one damn character in this show without a red or black palette. At this point Vivzie must really not want her characters to stick out from the backgrounds and look distinct from one another. So now her, Charlie, and Alastor are all going to be difficult to look at (especially if they’re standing next to one another) because they all have red painted onto them. I mean I can’t say Vaggie is DROWNING in red like Charlie and Alastor, but I’m still not happy to see that. I’ve seen some fans excuse this and go ““well maybe these characters are red to fit the hotel aesthetic and look”- and like…..no. Let’s be real, these characters are only red because Viv has an obvious obsession with the color, as well as her typical yellow, pink, black, and white colors.  I’m also disappointed to see that that damn X is STILL floating above her hair. That design choice was so weird, it was a HUGE annoying distraction in the pilot because it kept looking like it was floating above her hair, and instead of just simply putting the X actually ON HER EYE PATCH, it’s just ganna be there floating like before so that’s great. Also once again she has no moth features, a lot of people have said the shape of her hair gives more of a moth vibe, and….I GUESS but it’s the bare minimum, if I didn’t know Vaggie was supposed to be moth themed and I looked at this design, I wouldn’t have knew until someone told me. Again, they could have done more, like a least give her an antenna or two, or a furry neck, or hell, make her hair shaped like wings, but we get none of that, just another boring basic design. 

So now on to the only positives I have. I’m glad they tweaked her hair, like I said before I guess it KINDA makes her look more mothy but it’s still the bare minimum. I do like how her hair now has grey streaks instead of pink, the less pink the better but…..we still got that red. Finally, it seems like her stockings and gloves are purpleish, and I honestly was happy to see that, it’s nice to see purple on her! (Thought again, would have preferred if her shirt was blue.) Lastly, I can once again appreciate this design being simple and easy to animate, but just because you need to simplify a design, doesn’t mean it has to look boring, but that’s what it does for me. She just looks boring and basic, it looks like this design took no effort or even thought, and it frustrates me because it’s not that hard to make each of these characters have their own theme and make them distinct from one another. I’ve seen a lot of redesigns that give Vaggie’s design more of a personality and unique look, maybe I’ll show some later. This is just my personal preference, but I’d like to think as Vaggie as a rebel warrior type. She has the spear, an eyepatch, so I associate ripped clothing with her and her having messy hair. Also, I keep seeing edits of her hair being shorter, I honestly would have liked that better, and of course for her to look more mothy. What we got isn’t bad, there just…..could have been more to it, so I ain’t mad, I’m just lowkey disappointed. 

Oh, and one more thing, still upset they kept that god awful name. Say what you want wether it was intentional or not to have her name correspond to her sexuality, it STILL wasn’t a smart move on Viv’s part to KEEP this name knowing Vaggie was a lesbian now. Now it just seems like it’s a punny joke that isn’t funny.

-I believe that Bruno is a very patient and straightforward person. for you he would say what he needs to say even if it sounds a bit harsh, but he'd say it in a nice way, if that makes any sense.

-Bruno would absolutely kill for your affection, he doesn't care if you overdue it and just cling onto him all day. but he does understand if you don't want to overdue your affection and will respect your boundaries. The two of you could both be hopeless romantics together. he'd communicate a lot with you to make sure you don't overthink anything or get the wrong idea whenever he says anything that can be taken out of context.

-he gets the feeling of self doubt and not feeling like you're enough and that all the positive things and words in your life is not genuine, but he hates it when other people feel the same way, especially when you feel like that. he would compliment you all the time, even for the most smallest hings, and he's genuine about them too. he hopes that you soon find your worth and believe that everything hes saying about you he means in the most genuine loving way possible. he wants you to see the good in yourself, he wants you to see what he sees.

-he'd love doing any of your hobbies with you, if you want him too of course. while you're reading manga or drawing he'd just give you your space and look over your shoulder from time to time to see what progress you made, this would go on until you tell him he could sit down next to you.

-I feel as if Piers is somewhat pretty straightforward person, he would say what he needs to say but in a nice way, like if he needs to hold back on saying something he will. but he would never need to hold back anything from you, he would talk to you with the upmost respect, while also being as straightforward as possible to avoid any miscommunication.

-he honestly doesn't care what you wear, because the two of you would most likely be wearing the exact same thing, but i feel like his would be a bit more torn and messy...

-he would absolutely love doing nothing with you, just sitting there watching movies and stuff, because you just being there is enough for him. he would love watching you draw, he'd just silently watch your hands and fingers as they grip the pencil and slide across the paper. while drawing he would say "wow you're so good, i can barley draw stick figures" and while you're reading mange he would be like "so its like a comic book but backwards?"

-he also feels the same way when it comes to compliments and not being able to see the good things in himself, i mean his flashback in the movie says it all. but he doesn't want you to feel the same way too. that being said, he would always try to find a way to compliment you or anything you do, even if its the most simple thing like you combing your hair, he's say "you're hair looks beautiful today, well actually it does everyday-" and hes 100% genuine about it. he just wants you to see the good in yourself the same way he does.

-one complication i can see from him is that he is not a straightforward person at all, he's the type to accept a wrong order than to tell the waiter his order is wrong (me too though). he'd kinda stir away from what he needs to say which will lead to another topic. so he wont be upset with you for being confused or anything because he know that the miscommunication comes from him.

-he admires how you work hard and do your best. and that you always try you best to help out the ones who are close to you. even if you're clumsy and make mistakes. he'll always reassure you that the people you help out are grateful for all that you do and he says that sometimes all you can do for someone is be there for them and do your best to help them out.

its funny cause i give my parents updates on this tournament, and the only frame of reference they have is the bands/people i'm into generally. (my mum says "well, you should be glad i don't know who you're talking about because that would mean i'm trying to be hip and cool" lmao). anyways

godDAMN I really could cosplay half the homestuck cast given the free time, resources and motivation.There’s just something about hs that gets my creative juices REALLY flowing. I feel kinda weird starting a tumblr without making a proper intro so that’s what this post will mostly be.

I’m Marie, the being behind ADreamingWitch, my new lil sticker/art shop. I’m 26y/o, a creative being, writer, & tarot reader. I love learning, particularly about psychology, and all things mystical/magical.

I’ve been making art and dabbling in various creative hobbies my entire life. I’ve mainly been a traditional pencil to paper kinda artist, but I was lucky enough to have an opportunity to get an iPad Pro last year and have been playing around with procreate for that entire time. I’m no expert by any means, the app certainly still has secrets for me to uncover… but I’m to the point where I’m pretty confident in the little things I create here and there.

Stickers came to be last late fall, when I was trying to figure out a way to put my art out there. I’ve never been that fond of sharing my work prior, but I wanted that to change. My in-laws graciously gifted me a Cricut maker for Christmas, which opened a plethora of creative doors. At first I thought about doing t-shirt designs, but then realized I’d have to also learn sublimation for that and well…I didn’t feel like buying all that extra stuff tbh. Then I came across the idea for making stickers with your cricut, and I was intrigued. I’d been a modest sticker collector, and loved the idea of putting my art or any other design I wanted onto a sticker. I went absolutely crazy drawing up designs for weeeeks, until Christmas finally came and I was able to start the real test work.

Oh sticker paper… there are SO MANY. Label paper, vinyl paper, glossy or matte… it was overwhelming. But after I got my first test batch printed I knew I was hooked. This shit was truly addicting. I bought more paper to test, watched copious amount of videos on comparisons and tips, learned how to make a sturdy sticker that would hold up in water by testing different sealer options… and then got to where I am now. A several month obsessive deep dive and hundreds of sticker prints later, I finally had something that I could consider a finished product.

My main hope is to share my art and creations with people all around, and spread some of that love and joy I feel making them! I make everything from a place of love (cheesy i know) and honestly pour my all into it. I can’t half-ass things I care about, it just isn’t me. If I’m gonna put it out there, you best believe I spent a lot of time perfecting it before that. I just wanna reach all the other potential witchy, creative, or dreamer people out there. Sooo that’s what I’m here for. 🫶🏻

They have people watching dates. They come up with stories for the people they’re watching; their job, family, background, etc.

They judge people together

They call each other “love”

They’re both dramatic bastards, who will flop onto their lovers lap and proclaim their death due to a minor inconvenience

They jokingly sh*t-talk class A

Shinsou said “I love you” first, and it was because Monoma brought him coffee to class

They go shopping together and pick out the most dramatic pieces of clothing for each other

They both actually make clothing, they’ll go fabric shopping together. Gift exchanges are often articles of clothing that they’ve made for each other

Momomei:

They work on gear together!!!

Momo makes sure that mei gets some sleep

Mei helps redesign momo’s suit

They often work together with izuku to work in gear and such

They actually got together after izuku introduced them. He had been working on gear with mei, and studying with momo and he thought they’d hit it off. He was correct

Shintsuyu:

Dude they’d be so cute

Tsu is a vent gremlin, and you can’t change my mind. So she and shinsou will play a game where they try to find each other. Tsu is in the vent and shinsou is in the classrooms. Shinsou will try to find whichever vent she’s in, or she’ll find whichever classroom he’s in, in 20 minutes or less

I always headcanoned tsu as a dog person, so they’d have two cats and two dogs, and a bunny that they named Deku

They like comparing their friends to animals, hence the bunny, Deku

Kamideku:

Kaminari is a flirt, and izuku does n o t know how to handle it

Kaminari likes listening to izuku’s ramblings, and can keep up with them. He’ll ask questions on things too, and Izuku has never felt more appreciated

I don’t know why I feel like they’d have so many animals, but I do. They’d have so many, man. Three cats, two dogs, four sugar gliders, a hamster

Adhd power couple. They hyperfixated on complimentary things at the same time one time

Kaminari tutors izuku in English, and izuku turots kami in some other subjects. He’s also teaching kami JSL on the side. Kaminari has a live of languages

Momochako:

Study dates, Momo asks ochako to quiz her a lot

Ochako takes to floating momo’s things when she wants attention. Especially when Momo is studying. She makes a game out of how many things she can float until the other girl notices

Uraraka’s confidence does wonders for momo’s. Uraraka always makes sure to reassure momo that she is strong and that she can do this

Momo makes Uraraka whatever her heart desires. Uraraka blushes all the time, and momo takes great pride in getting her girlfriend to blush

Minatoru:

Mina clings to everyone, but especially to toru

They give each other stuffed animals so often. They’ll go to the store to get food, and come back with three stuffed animals that reminded them of each other

Please, they’re so cute 😭✋

They will play hide and seek, I stand by this.

Mina helps toru design a new costume. I hate hers, it’s horrible, and sexist, and not suitable for a fucking child

Toru says that pink is her favorite color

They flirt with each other all the time. Half the class thinks it’s cute, half of them used to think it was cute.

Iidamomo:

I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again, but study dates. they quiz each other, and it actually gets pretty competitive

They also have rage room dates. I will not budge on this. Iida tried to murder someone, and I am excited to see momo finally snap. She deserves it

They alternate paying for dates, don’t try me.

The go hiking a lot

They started liking each other after one late night, both having nightmares. Momo had tea, and offered some to Iida. They talked until the early hours of the morning

They can’t flirt. They try. But they’re horrible at it. They’ll compliment each other all day long, but they cannot flirt.

KIRIDEKU, MY BELOVED:

Y’all,,, y’all, I love them so much

They train together, obviously

They ran into each other one night in the common room after both having nightmares. They talked about middle school, how they were both bullied, izuku’s quirk coming in late, katsuki being abusive, kiri being bullied because his quirk wasn’t “cool.” After that, they were practically inseparable.

They started going on dates, not that either of them knew they were dates. The entire class knew, so did the teachers, so did the rest of U.A. Kirishima picked up on it first after a comment from Mina, he had is realization.

So, he started courting Izuku. Not thag izuku realized this. He brought him flowers on most ‘dates,’ he bought him hero action figures whenever he could, he complimented him until Izuku was red in the face (which was honestly very easy.) Still, izuku remained ignorant to the fact that he was indeed dating Kirishima.

The final tipping point, was due to Uraraka’s help. She was quite tired of watching the two of them pine for each other. It was amusing for the first couple months, watching Kirishima try so hard, and Deku being totally oblivious. However, she took pity on her friends after a while.

So, Uraraka devised a devilish plan to get the two together. She involved Mina, Sero, and kaminari in this plan. What was the plan, you ask? Oh, simply to trap the two in one room until they broke through izuku’s obliviousness.

Kirishima finally “straight” up admitted his feelings, to which Izuku had the sudden realization of “oh my gods, have we been dating this whole time??” Yes, Izuku. Yes you have.

They have two anniversaries after that.

Let’s be honest, they are really, annoyingly, horrifically lovey dovey. Kirishima brags about having “the manliest and bestest boyfriend in the world.” Izuku flaunts his many PowerPoint presentations on how talented and incredible Kirishima is

Uraraka doesn’t know if she did the right thing by helping them. She is so tired

Tsujirou:

Jirou makes playlists for tsu

The few sane ones in class A, I swear

They go on walks in the rain as often as they can

They go for dates in the bookstore too. They each pick out an album and a book for the other to listen to and read

Y’all, they make so much sense togetherrrrr, I’m love them 🥺

Jirou started liking tsu after the crew saved bakugou. Jirou sat with tsu after momo, Iida, kirishima, Todoroki, and izuku apologized and sat with her. They had movie night, and Jirou joined the Bakugou saving crew and tsu with taking well into the night. She just appreciated how much tsu cared

Tsu started liking Jirou after she helped Iida, momo, and izuku try to keep the class in order. She appreciated how diplomatic and calm she was

Jirou would talk to izuku all night long about how gay she was, and how adorable tsu was. So, izuku decided to try and suggest ways for Jirou to ask her out.

She did not end up getting to ask her out though, as Tsu walked up to her the next morning f and asked if she wanted to go on a date. Jirou said yes. Izuku cried

Izujirou:

They make playlists for each other

They go for runs on the beach a lot

They both have insomnia, and often spend time making blanket forts and talking, or FaceTiming and listening to music

Jirou walks into the common room once a week looking for new music. She started liking Izuku after he made a playlist for her for one of these occasions.

They’re both quite awkward when it comes to romance, but neither of them will shy away from facing the truth. So, Jirou made izuku a playlist filled with love songs that reminded her of him and sent it to him. Sadly, izuku is dense as hell.

So, then Jirou wrote a love song and told izuku that the song was for him. Sadly, izuku is dense as hell.

So, then, after thinking that Jirou had done so much for him, izuku made her a playlist filled with love songs. Jirou took this to mean that izuku had finally picked up on her feelings, and accepted them.

So, they started to go on dates. Not that izuku knew this, as he is dense as hell. All leading up to izuku finally confessing his feelings on one of their ‘dates,’ to which Jirou responded, “dude, we’re already dating? Aren’t we? I- I thought that was obvious??”

Tokoyama:

Goth/prep boyfriends, we love to see it

At least once a day, Aoyama will proclaim that Tokoyami “shines almost as bright as he does, in his fabulous emo way”

They sword fight, and come up with really dramatic scenarios and scenes that they’re in

They bond over being in the izucrew and their shared love of swords. Aoyama took fencing classes in middle school, and Tokoyami got into sword fighting after watching it in pirates of the Caribbean as a young child. He is self taught and watched countless videos on the art of sword fighting

Tokoyami asked Aoyama our by dramatically presenting him with a dagger and going “will you accompany me on a formal outing as my lover?”

Shinyama:

They flirt constantly

No really, it’s getting quite annoying. Someone please stop them.

They both plop down in random areas and proclaim their deaths, the difference between them, is that Aoyama will burst into shinsou’s room, and yell “love, I’ve been murdered. Mourn for me” while plopping down on shinsou’s lap. Shinsou can be found laying face down outside aoyama’s door, and when Aoyama goes to open the door, he just goes “I’ve been murdered.”

^^ one time, shinsou did a very fun Halloween prank for this, where he poured fake blood all over himself for Aoyama to find him an hour later, asleep.

Nap dates. Aoyama get glitter all over shinsou’s room

Iiyama:

Aoyama enjoys making Iida blush, obviously. But he takes joy in doing it specifically when class is about to start. Aizawa is tired of his shit

Here is how I think an iiyama conversation might go:

Aoyama: I ask for one thing in this relationship-

Iida: Aoyama, you know that’s a lie-

Aoyama: for my boyfriend to carry me around all day-

Iida: Aoyama, I cannot feasibly do this with class-

Aoyama: and I don’t think that’s too much to ask for 😤

Anyway, Aoyama got carried around all day that day, despite Iida’s blush and Aizawa’s eye twitch

Everyone in the izucrew is close, but Iida and Aoyama started to get close after Iida told the crew about Stain. Aoyama wanted Iida to know that he wasn’t alone, and that he wanted to help him. So he started packing extra cheese for lunch and giving it to Iida. Iida was very confused at first. But this was Aoyama trying to court him. This was only made apparent by momo and Jirou telling Iida that this was aoyama’s attempt at expressing romantic interest.

Aoyama flirts with everyone, that’s just who he is. But with Iida? Oh it was tenfold. The poor boy was red in the face constantly. Aoyama was a persistent little bugger too, following him around and calling him ‘mon amour’

Kirikamideku:

My dearest traffic light trio, I’m love them

They train together, and kiri and kami always appreciate izuku’s analysis snd ideas

Kiri falls even more in love with izuku and kaminari when they go off on rants. Izuku rants and kami can keep up with him so he asks questions about it. Kiri loves to watch his boyfriends go on rants, I don’t make the rules, but I do enforce them

They started to get closer after kami and kiri found bakugou causing a ptsd flashback (could be on purpose of an accident, up to the reader.) they stated with him and tried to talk him through it. After this, izuku started to tell them about having been a “late bloomer” and being bullied, etc. (I don’t know, man; I tend to over share after flashbacks and after panic attacks)

Izuku tutors them in several subjects, but kami tutors them in English. Kiri just falls in love with his smart boyfriends

Izuku is teaching kami JSL and kami is helping izuku with English and Italian (personal headcanon that Italian has been one of kami’s special interests) kiri loves to listen to them, and finds it relaxing and calming to hear them do this. When he has panic attacks, he’ll ask them to tutor each other in different languages
