No.
I wouldn’t trust 99% of the general population with firearms.
Especially considering how Neurotypicals act around people like me.
Half the time they usually think that I’m insane and act like I should be sectioned or sterilised. Or worse!
Do you really think I’d want a mob of dumb, panicky, dangerous animals (to quote Men in Black) like them to be carrying guns?! With all their bigotry and othering on top of that?!
No.
I wouldn’t.
Absolutely not!
It’s out of the question.
Any of us (autistic people) even look at them funny, they start panicking and bleating on about how we’re frightening them and how they have a god given right to attack us on sight!
Heck, many of the dumb fuckers don’t even need an excuse! They just do it!
I’d keep them as far away from firearms as possible.
I’d keep the dumb fuckers away from crayons and sharp objects! To say nothing of actual guns.
Stupid animals!

I just published Bessora Prophétesse de l’À-venir Passé.

The homeless people were drugged without their knowledge to keep them calm and complacent, which is the kind of thing that happens when a cult uses human cattle to serve its own purposes.

So anyway you repeatedly say we only feel corn husks and similar inedible parts to cattle but Never add a source to back it up. Having worked on farms I’m afraid for the most part the feeds I’ve seen have been parts entirely edible to humans. And like fuck man 5% of all grown soy is fed to humans or however the stat goes, do you really think the remaining 95% is inedible? really?
Anyway yeah I’m asking for a source here cause I don’t want to add this on to months old post
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Ingredients such as “grain by-products” are referring to the husks, stalks, and other “green” parts of the plant that we humans don’t actually have the digestive capabilities to eat. The breakdown of most livestock feeds looks like the above when you actually take a look at it.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Different cattle feed, similar ingredients. Still primarily things that, and I have to stress this, you cannot eat. This one is slightly higher in quality and does indeed have actual grain products included. Some of those are edible to humans. Some are not. Generally cattle are fed cattle cubes with supplemental mineral licks and hay. Some also supplement with whole corn, but I can gladly assure you that corn is not in short supply and even if all the corn sold to animal feed was donated to the poor, you can’t actually live off of corn because there’s very little nutrition in it. Hence why in both human and animal food it’s typically seen as a filler ingredient. Keeps the mouth busy with a meal without making your stomach feel full and you end up eating more without feeling satisfied.
Soybeans are really only often used in feed for pigs because they’re a great source of protein for these animals. I would state that soy is also a terrible option to use as an emergency food for humans in need because while, yes, it is indeed a healthy bean, it’s also one of the top eight foods that humans are frequently allergic or intolerant towards. I’d also ask you for whether your 5% of all grown soy statistic is referring to the beans or the entire plant because yeah the beans are the edible part. The rest of the plant isn't especially healthy for humans to eat. I would say the beans are around 5% of a mature soy plant sure.

this evening I was attempting to explain the reality of cattle dogs to my best buddy from grad school, who is in no way a dog person and has never met Matilda. he does however have two small children and a functioning television, so he is familiar with Bluey. The show is... so funny to me, because it's influencing the associations people have with cattle dogs in a very distinct direction, and I had just finished showing him Dogs in Elk today...
which is how I came to describe the Australian Cattle Dog thusly:
cattle dogs are like really intense field herpetologists. very energetic, very captivated by motion, fast thinkers and often pretty impulsive. steve irwin kind of dogs.

boycott fatigue is actually the stupidest fucking thing ever because how in the ever loving fuck are you experiencing “fatigue” from not going to Starbucks. how is not watching rushed cgi on disney+ and not eating a breaded slime nugget at McDonald’s “fatiguing” you. genuinely how fucking dare this even exist as a concept. entire bloodlines, children, newborns are dying slow and bloody and all of these companies are giving Israel the money to do that. they’re using YOUR fucking money to do this. and look, practically every war has been funded out of our pockets by a means we can’t fight around. almost all of the food and drink we have in the states is owned by some large corporation that makes it fucking impossible to not give them money because they are the sole providers. I understand there are some things we can’t boycott because of our own needs. but this isn’t basic needs that we are being asked to boycott. it’s fucking Disney+ and McDonald’s and Starbucks and a whole slew of luxuries that you’re not only capable of living without, but would actually be better off entirely without.
there’s been a lot of talk about how privileged we are to only be witnessing this human rights atrocity through phones or news and being able to get away from it with a button click and that’s entirely real, but the fact that somebody out here just felt soooo inconvenienced by not going to a drive thru for overpriced garbage that they literally coined the phrase “boycott fatigue,” is probably the biggest load of privileged dog shit I’ve seen in the past few days. do you want to know who’s actually experiencing fatigue right now? the millions of displaced families in Gaza without homes anymore. without any clean water to drink because it’s either been poisoned by the Israelis or contaminated with their peoples’ blood. the children without enough food to get by, or without any food at all. the injured and sick and disabled Palestinians who don’t have access to any medical aid for themselves because their hospitals and fuel trucks are being bombed. these people who have absolutely nothing but each other, and not even that in the worst circumstances, who can only keep walking for days on end, hungry and thirsty and in pain and unable to do anything about it. that is real fucking fatigue.
I understand we’re all seeing war crimes and death and atrocities that nobody should ever have to see and yes it’s difficult to process, but the people of Palestine are experiencing these atrocities in real time, every day, every hour. every ten fucking minutes a child dies. They aren’t even asking for help anymore. They’re only asking to be witnessed and remembered and for us to stop going to places that actively fund their deaths and you’re saying you just can’t because you’re exhausted by not going to that place? I know we’re all born and raised in a consumerist hellscape but you seriously need to get a fucking reality check if offering the bare minimum support to a dying people is ‘fatiguing’ to you. Jesus fucking Christ.

i really enjoyed no country for old men (2007) and the way it reframes violence and lawlessness. in the film noir and western genres, the genres on which the film strongly draws, violence is generally portrayed as a broad but recent perversion of society, which stands separate from and in conflict with the american dream. this film, however, frames the horrible, dead-faced violence that drives the plot forward as the very foundation upon which america and the american dream are built. the film invokes and intertwines hunting, livestock agriculture, the vietnam war, and the violence with native americans and mexicans demanded by white americans’ colonial project. all four of these are considered foundations of american culture and especially of american masculinity culture; all are grotesquely violent, blended into the background as they may be, and the nonstop apathetic violence does not stem from a state of becoming blood simple as shown in the coen brothers film of the same name, but rather from the long cultural history of violence that allows the characters to shift responsibility for violence outside of themself. this is what makes carla jean’s ultimate refusal to call anton chigurh’s coin toss so powerful. chigurh speaks circles around his violence, his rhetoric forcing characters to accept the violence enacted against them without him having to actually threaten any violence, and as such absolving him of the act before it is done. playing his coin toss game, putting up your own life on the line in order to gamble for it, implies that it is acceptable for you to die if you lose, because those are the rules of the game. that is the way things are. ed tom bell’s great uncle stole native americans’ land and was killed by them for it, llewelyn moss still mexicans’ money and was killed by them for it, and violence and the violence it begets is just the way things are. but carla jean’s refusal to play forces a space outside of the rules and traditions that have the administration and acceptance of violence so deeply woven into them. the refusal does not save her, but it forces chigurh and the audience to see the rules for what they are. the loose and ragged ending of this film does not imply, the way the cathartic, last-man-standing structure of many noirs and westerns does, that the good men with guns have wiped out the bad men with guns in a brutal but necessary slaughter to end all slaughters, after which all violence will cease. there is no catharsis in this film. there is no payoff to obeying the rules and structures that demand the infliction violence. in its weighing of destiny and free will in the wild, rule-following west, no country for old men (2007) concludes that it is the worst of all worlds: people always have a choice, they just don’t let themselves see any option but the cruelest one

What do you think is the cut off age for immortal children? Bc Jane and Alec are like, 12, and theyre under control, but you can argue they get some leeway bc they're Aro's favorites... I just think a vampire child that's old enough to control themselves would probably be the closest Rosalie could get to adopting a child without fear of it dying, even if they also would never grow up. Someone out there could probably write something interesting about it. Bree was 15, wasnt she? I wonder what wouldve happened if the Volturi had let her live.
I'd say that 12/13 has to be the lower limit? I can't imagine anyone getting away with an immortal child much younger than that. Sure, you can teach 10-year-olds, 8-year-olds, etc, but they are still young enough that higher reasoning doesn't always work. Most people wouldn't leave them by themselves at that age. When I was 12/13 that's when I was able to enroll in a babysitting course and people would let me watch their kids; that seems like a decent litmus test for a kid that is 'old enough' to not be an immortal child.
But there's probably some wiggle room. I'm sure there are very responsible and mature 11-year-olds out there, and 14-year-olds you wouldn't let water your plants over a weekend let alone watch your children.
Jane and Alec are right on that line, IMO. And if someone other than Aro had created them, he very well might have used "oh no, immortal children" as an excuse to go after their creator and then 'mercifully' adopted the immortal children and 'trained' them, or whatever.
Bree is 15/16 and Benjamin is also 15; I think they are the youngest vampires after Jane and Alec. I don't know that Rosalie would be satisfied adopting a child that old, though, even if it's her only option, being that she's only 18 herself. My pet theory is that after the vampire world finds out about Renesmee there might be hybrid baby boom. But without the support Bella had, the human mothers probably aren't all going to make it and some of the vampire dads have second thoughts and Rosalie might get to adopt and raise a hybrid someday.
