I'm sure that a PJ book mentions that the immortal children of the gods like to annoy and play practical jokes on their parents' half-breed children, how the yanderes would react seeing them Percy being bullied and belittled by her brothers and sisters, this is already shown to us in the last hero of Olympus when Triton wants to make Percy understand that she is a coward and emphasizes to him that he is the heir of the seas (I've always wondered what the need for an "heir" is if his father is immortal) and that she is not technically a princess according to the label she is a Bastard because Sally was not even Poseidon's concubine when he was with her and that those who are true princesses are the two daughters of Poseidon with Amphitrite being the legitimate wife and Queen from Atlantis (her daughters are called Cimponela and Rhodes if I'm not mistaken)

hades is GREATLY disappointed but not to a murderous extent at least. "this is not how you treat your little siblings, young man/lady 😠, i expected better from you". he's THEEEE big brother of big brothers, so he would be very disgusted at how pjo! posideon's kids are behaving (and the other godly children tbh cuz wtf leave your little half-blood siblings alone!!!). he would also click his tongue at pjo! poseidon's poor parenting and would probs scold him to get better control over his godly children: "your children are bullies, you should be ashamed of yourself for letting this go on!!! DO BETTER!"

as for beelzebub, he'd be the same as poseidon but more swift about it. the SECOND he realizes that percy's godly siblings like to either bully/attack her, he's throwing them into tartarus. won't even hesitate or anything, he is NOT letting this go any longer because he's paranoid and overprotective like that.

apollo would be a mix between hades and beelzebub. since these godly kids are his beloved's siblings, he would TRY to tell them to either leave her alone or be nicer, but they're obviously not gonna listen so he's gonna whisk percy away to delos (kidnap) while he "deals with her siblings 😊". can't risk his darling being killed!

as for loki, he'd be pissed at the treatment, BUT he would encourage percy to get revenge. she'd most likely say no cuz she honestly doesn't wanna deal with her godly siblings (can't remember), so he would avenge her instead by playing some "harmless" pranks on them.

Cyno may not have the same personality as Tanjiro (they are very different to be honest), but he sounds like a super protective person to me just like Xiao. Not very sweet and with a gentle voice, but he cares on the same level about his younger sister because he loves her very much and doesn't want anything bad to happen to her.

Everyone knows Cyno for working alone, so much so that in the story quest itself they didn't expect him to be accompanied by the traveler.

So I imagine that him with a younger sister would be similar. He makes her stand back while he fights and even though he insists on doing everything on his own, she would get involved because she cares about him to the same extent that he cares about her!! :D

I also imagine he reprehending her for being so stubborn and always getting involved. He would spend the whole way reminding her how much of an airhead she is. Like “honestly, what do I do with you?” and giving long lessons, being tough in general even though everything worked out with her involvement.

However, at the end of the day, she knows that he has a very soft heart and always ends up carrying her when he finishes his missions. She gets tired of having to catch up with him when he takes such huge steps on the way home (even though he tried to go slower so she can keep up).

His harsh nature would bring doubts one day. “Am I a burden to him?” and she would slowly move away, always lying down and closing her eyes when he approached, making it seem like she was too tired to leave when he called for patrols.

He acts indifferent and leaves her be. It hurts a little, but soon Cyno realizes the difference she makes when she's not there. And it’s not good. All the time feeling uneasy for being separated from his sister for so long, even though there was a trustworthy person who could keep an eye on her for him.

He was bothered by how long the missions seemed to take without her presence, she who finished off the bandits quite quickly and he always repeated that she was ruining the clues they had to follow. She didn't understand what the problem was if the case was practically solved when she nipped the evil in the bud.

“Is something wrong? Are you feeling unwell?” He finally asks when he comes home from one of his patrol days, and she feels slightly relieved that he's showing concern because it's been bothering her for a while.

For him, it was enough for her to shake her head “yes” and “no”, but for her, it was suffocating not to be able to ask what was in the back of her mind: “Am I a burden to you?”

This time, she just shakes her head “no” to “are you feeling unwell?” and she starts to accompany him again when he leaves at sunrise. Feelings pile up in her chest until she gets tired and lets tears escape at his harsh tone of voice as he scolds her again, promptly closing her wrists and wiping her face, but it was too late to hide it.

He can't help but be surprised and hurt, although he knows the reason for those tears. He caresses her head lightly, and tries to ease all the tension and worries she has been carrying on her shoulders.

“I just want your well-being, please don’t be mad at me.” She scrunched her face at this, after all, he wasn't the only one who had someone to protect and he needed to get used to the fact that they only had each other at the end of it all. She wasn’t weak and just needed teaching and patience.

But there was nothing she could say other than making sounds in displeasure. He understood what she wanted to say, he didn't need words, but it hurt to know that she was struggling because of him, struggling because she couldn’t say anything, and struggling because he was trying to protect her too much.

From that day on, he hesitantly lets her get more involved in his business, calmly teaching her what he can, clearing his throat and changing the harsh words he was about to say to her every time.

She always listened attentively to Cyno's teachings, nodding her head to everything he said. Coincidentally, their visions were made for each other, finishing off the bandits in a second. It wasn’t that bad now.

And when she was struggling not to close her eyes as she walked back behind him (but she still would), he would quickly turn to catch her body before she collided with the ground, carrying her princess style without uttering a word to not disturb her peaceful sleep.

He would go to the end of the world so that she could become human again and not have to go through any difficulties, so that she would never again have to hold such complicated feelings inside her heart. On that day, he would let her take out all the frustrations stored on him, let her scream and say everything that was stuck. Nothing will make him happier than hearing her voice again. Even if she’s nagging at him.

Sometimes the way you care about people gets under Stu's skin, like a bug bite that he can't scratch because it's on the inside.

He doesn't hold it against you, or at the very least, he really tries not to. But sometimes, when you get like this on the behalf of other people...

Stu lets out a low sigh as he shoves his hands into his pockets. When he first realized that you had locked your window, he had briefly tried to not jump to worst case scenario. Maybe you weren't that mad, maybe the early fall draft kept blowing the window open, or maybe you were out with Sidney and Tatum. But no, the tightly shut window was intentional.

After knocking on your front door and being greeted by your mother, Stu had learned that you had just been in the kitchen, complaining about being bored.

"You're actually that mad at me?"

At the sudden intrusion, you snap your head back, the chair in front of your desk moving back slightly with the motion. Your panic lasts for less than a second and is quickly replaced by a small sigh and an eye roll.

"Stu, you nearly gave me a heart attack." It's not the first time that you've scolded him for that. Despite his typical energy and tall frame, he can maneuver like a cat when he wants to. "I-I locked the window, how are you even in here?"

He leans against your doorway, angling his head so that he's looking at your dresser instead of at you. There's something about your room that's just so you. It's comforting and sometimes overwhelming if he hasn't gotten off in too long.

He could spend an entire afternoon looking through your drawers and sampling your perfumes and lotions. He actually did that one Friday you slept over at Tatum's.

Stu shifts his gaze, his eyes meeting yours. You're trying to be harsh, he can see it in the slight draw of your eyebrows. It's endearing, especially with the stubborn almost pout of your lips. Sometimes when you're mad all Stu can think about is kissing you.

"Your mom told me to go ahead and let myself into your room," he mumbles, pushing away from the doorway as he steps entirely into the room, "You might be mad at me, but she's not."

Your eyes narrow a little at that. You know that Stu knows exactly what he's doing. "Well, she shouldn't have." You scratch the back of your wrist, trying your best to avoid Stu's gaze. "I'm doing homework."

"She said you were bored."

"History homework tends to do that."

Stu takes another step forward. You move your hand, gripping the back of your desk chair. When it comes to staying mad at Stu, physical distance is your only ally. The closer he gets, the less your brain functions.

"You said your history homework wasn't due until next week." Another step forward, the skin over your knuckles strains. "You can't be that mad at me." He continues to walk further into your room until he's so close to your desk chair that he has to turn his head down to look at you. "Let's just watch a movie or something. I'll let you pick."

His piercing gaze cuts straight through you. You can barely breathe. You drop your gaze in order to be able to get your thoughts out. "No, I said I wasn't talking to you."

Even in your own ears your words sound weak. Stu, already feeling his victory, reaches forward. He takes your chin between his pointer finger and thumb, tilting your head up so that he's inescapable. "All of this over a few things I said to Randy? I was joking, he knows I was." When your frown doesn't go away, Stu lets out a sigh, "If it means that much to you, next time I see him I'll give him a joint or something and we'll be even. Promise."

You lean back, pressing your spine into the side of your desk. "It's not really about Randy, y'know." You inhale, thinking through your words carefully. Stu takes your reproaching well as long as you don't cross any invisible lines. "You can't just say what you want about people. It hurts their feelings, and you might forget about it after a second, but that person doesn't."

Stu blinks, an oddly uncomfortable feeling settling in his stomach. You genuinely care so much about how other people feel. Everyone. Even people you don't know.

Thinking about it too much makes him uneasy. It makes him feel like anything he feels for you is so much more than anything you could ever feel for him. You consider everyone's feeling, he can only bring himself to worry about how you and Billy are feeling.

He forces himself to back away from you. Stu moves to sit on your bed. Safe distance. The thought is mainly subconscious but that doesn't stop it from rolling in his stomach. He likes to think that he wouldn't actually hurt you over something this small, but he refuses to take the chance when it comes to you. Even more so when Billy isn't around as some kind of silent assurance.

Out of all the things he could have said, that stung the most. And he knows it. Your relationship exists in a world of in-betweens. You didn't like the idea of being some kind of side piece, especially the side piece to one of your best friend's boyfriends. But you guys never figured out how to stay away from each other.

Stu had spent so much time swearing to you that things were different than they looked. He promised time and time again that his real feelings are for you, that you were it for him, and that he couldn't just blow off Tatum for the sake of the group. With everything going on, with Sidney still grieving, it'd be selfish to risk it all over feelings.

By keeping your thing together secret, you were protecting everyone's feelings while still not breaking your own hearts.

But that single comment burned it all away. You were just starting to believe him, and now... "Really?" The word is pointed, but nowhere near as violent as you want them to be. "You really don't care about anyone's feelings but your own." Your eyes feel teary. "I'm such an idiot because I-I defend you when people say things like that about you, and I'm always thinking that it's just that they don't know you like I do. But they're right--you're--" None of the words that come to mind feel harsh enough, so you decide to just be honest, "You're mean."

Stu blinks as everything you've said settles into his chest. A rare, fleeting touch of a feeling some might have labeled as guilt stabs at him. He crossed a line, and now you’re looking at him in a way you never have before. And your eyes...fuck, your eyes are so wide and glassy. You're about to cry.

He had dealt with your anger before. Petty, teasing anger, sure, but still--anger. Stu could handle that. He knows what to do when you push him away and pout and even knows what to do when you curse at him. But this, this is so much worse than any of that.

You're more hurt than angry and Stu hates it. He hates that he doesn't know how to fix it. He hates that a part of him wishes that Billy was here, he'd be able to smooth this over and get you to stop looking like that.

"Not true," Stu finally manages, his voice nearly wavering at the shocking amount of honesty in it, "I care about someone's feelings."

You shift in your seat, rolling your eyes. "Yeah, your own." Stu watches expectantly as you squeeze your hands together on your lap. "You should go."

"No," Stu stands, "I'm not leaving you like this." Before you can register what's happening, Stu is by your side, placing a hand on your shoulder. "I'm sorry, okay? I didn't mean it, I just--" He can't put it into words, and even if he could, he wouldn't be able to express it to you without making you want to call a psychologist. "I'm sorry. You know how I feel about you."

With a sigh, you look up at him. "Stu, go." You stand up, forcing him to let go of you as you start walking towards your bedroom door. "I mean it. Either go or I'm going downstairs and telling my mom I have a migraine, and she'll tell you to leave."

Stu's quiet as you take another step forward. You should have taken his silence as a warning.

You're about to walk out into the hall, but before you can make it, something strong catches you by the waist. You instinctually squirm, but Stu ignores that as he forces you down onto your bed.

A small yelp escapes your lips. You hear the door to your bedroom shut before you can sit up fully. "Stu!"

He's on you in a second, trapping you so that you're forced to stay on your back. If you were struggling to think before, being completely beneath Stu has made it impossible.

Stu's hand finds your face, his thumb soothingly moving across the apple of your cheek. "I didn't mean it." That was true. Tatum is just a part of the plan now, and an occasional lay. But you--you're his first and final thought each day. You're everything, more than you'd ever understand. "You're it for me. No matter what."

You bite your tongue, fighting to not give in to the way he's looking at you. His eyes are pure adoration. "You said that before, and look at how quickly you changed your mind. Since I'm so annoying and I have no interest in being 'the other woman' as you put it, go away."

He doesn't want to talk about this anymore. It's making him feel something that he can't name. He doesn't want you to be mad or upset, he just wants things to go back to normal.

Stu slips his hand across your cheek so that his fingers can twist themselves into your hair. Before you can question him, he presses his lips to yours.

The kiss feels different than the normal way he touches you. It's persistent despite the patience behind it. The way his mouth moves against yours is vulnerable and the way he swipes his tongue against your barely parted lips is pleading.

Your hand instinctively find his chest. You push against him with lethargic force. Stu pulls your bottom lip in between his teeth. A breathy sound that's equally surprised as it is needy escapes you. He takes that as his opening to deepen the kiss.

Just as you start feeling out of breath, Stu pulls away, resting his forehead against yours. I love you.

The thought comes so suddenly Stu has to bite his tongue hard to keep from blurting it out. It's not like he's never felt that towards you, but this is the closest he's ever come to blurting it out.

It's instinct to shut your eyes as you focus on your breathing, but you can still feel his eyes on you. You feel him move, but before you can say anything, Stu starts kissing down your cheek. You don't open your eyes until you feel teeth grazing against your jaw.

"Stu." It's supposed to be a warning.

His hands move, forcing the oversized shirt you're in to ride up enough to expose your hips. Stu squeezes the newly exposed skin as he starts to kiss down your neck. "Do you trust me?"

Yeah, after the way he's been acting, there's no way you're answering that. "There's no way I'm doing anything even remotely sexual with you after what you--"

He finds that one spot near your collarbone. Your breath catches itself in your throat. Stu moves, pushing your shirt up a little more. He kisses down your stomach. You're lost in bliss until you feel his teeth sink into the soft skin of your stomach.

You nearly jump out of your own skin. "Stu!"

Grinning at your tone, he rests his head against you, chin pressing into your hip. "What?"

You're desperate to hold onto your anger, but with the way he's looking at you? It's nearly impossible to not smile. "You're so weird."

"You love it."

Pressing your lips together, you pause to think. "I love it better than you being an asshole."

Not taking the bait, Stu squeezes your hips a little firmer, "I love that smile. It's your 'you-wish-you-were-more-mad-at-me' smile. I think that that's the smile I see the most."

Fondly rolling your eyes, you casually move your hand in order to softly comb your nails through Stu's hair. This is a cute game. "I love that my anger amuses you."

"I love when you do that thing with your nails."

You finally let yourself grin. There's just something about Stu when he's like this, all relaxed and touchy and content. "I love when I can tell you're happy."

"I love you."

Your hand pauses, still in his hair. There's no way you heard that right. "Shit," he breathes, hiding his face against the fabric of your shirt. "I said that out loud." Oh my god--you did hear that right. He just said-- "I was going to be romantic about it. I was going to take you out to that one hill where you can see all the lights from town, and then we were going to go to my place. And I was going to let you pick the movie, and I wasn't going to talk about it, even if you picked that really lame one you're always talking about."

Still in total shock, you blink, stiff beneath him. "I kinda like when you talk about the movies we watch." Stu, looks up, but you don't meet his gaze. "But that's not what we're talking about, so I um--" You shift awkwardly. "Did you mean it?"

Your rush of words come out jumbled, but Stu understands them regardless. "So much. I love you, and I'm sorry that I'm an asshole, but you're not--" He lets out a breath. His silence forces you to finally meet his gaze. "If you think the friend group and Sid can handle it right now, I'll go over to Tatum's right now and break up with her."

Stu's boldness nearly surprises him, because in that moment, he really thinks he might mean it.

Everything you want is hanging there, right in front of you. Every selfish fiber of your being wants to say yes. You want to send Stu off and have him back in your arms in less than an hour. Stu can see it, but he can also see the hesitance in your eyes. After all, you care so deeply about everyone's feelings.

"It-it wouldn't be right," you whisper, more to yourself than him, "Not that any of what we're doing has been right, but that feels meaner than it needs to be. To just completely dump her on a random Saturday night without starting to pull away to prepare her first."

"I'll start pulling away." He's glad to have something productive to latch onto. He could start to pull away from Tatum (like he hasn't already with all the time he spends with you) carefully. Not enough to get her to break up with him, just enough to ease you. He could play at that game until he and Billy finish their plans. "Really laying the ground work for a breakup starts next time I see her."

You nod absentmindedly, the excitement from his confession waning fast. You're retreating into that quiet version of yourself that comes out whenever you think too much about your arrangement.

Stu leans over, pressing a quick kiss to your side. "I think I might've already started because you're all I think about."

"Shut up."

He adjusts his hold on you, "I mean it." You still don't seem too convinced. "You can scold me as much as you want about being nicer to people or anything else. I'm in love you." You finally crack, a smile playing at your lips. "Which is something I've said three times now without you saying it back."

At that, your jaw playfully drops, "Hmm...yeah, you have said it three times now. Weird."

The glint behind Stu's eyes is dangerous. He pulls himself off of you with no warning. You're too confused to do anything until you feel his hands on you. He moves his fingers swiftly, tickling you as you squeal and try to push him off. "What were you saying?"

Through fits of giggles, you manage to get out, "Th-that I'm--" You can barely breathe as you push against him. "That I'm in love with--with a--sadist."

At that, Stu pauses. "In love with, huh?"

"Unfortunately," you sigh.

Stu throws you an exaggeratedly offended look. "Rude. You're going to need to make it up to me."

Deciding to play along, you hum in agreement, "Let me guess. You have something in mind."

Stu leans down, placing a quick kiss to your lips. "You know me so well. C'mon let's go to my place and watch a movie."

I'm going to be mad if the only special thing at Nokia Arena will be the supports and a ton of pyros and flashing lights 🙈 Sure I guess they kinda have to play the Exit Emotions songs (🙄) but please let there be a good amount of older songs too 😭

You get it 😭 Like, naturally the focus will be on their new songs, but from what I've understood, the Nokia Arena show will also be a sort of celebration of their 10-year anniversary, so I'm totally gonna expect it to be at least a little more special also in terms of the songs they play, even though I know it might be in vain 😔

I have sooooooo many opinions of their setlists anyway, gonna put them under a read-more in case someone's not up for seeing (minor) criticism lol (not even that tbh, just some constructive feedback / ideas, as if I know anything about how the music business works and how setlist for rock shows/tours are built)

I feel like they've for the past 2 years been playing pretty much the same setlist at shows, which is a huge shame imo because they have sooooooo many great songs in the catalogue, which would allow more frequent rotation in setlist. Obviously I understand they can't make a new setlist for every show, and that's not what I mean to say anyway, but it would be nice to hear different songs from time to time, you know? Sure, some songs get dropped when brand new ones are taken in, but I think the "base" setlist has stayed pretty much intact for two years now. I do understand why they keep such songs as Over My Dead Body and Died Enough For You in their setlists, because hey, they are fan favourites and solid live songs, and also in a way "prototype examples" of Violent Pop, right?

This is why I think they should, instead of using pretty much the same exact setlist for their shows both in Europe/Finland as well as in the US, they could very easily, with the fanbase they already have in Europe, include more older/unknown/non-single songs in their own headline shows, vs. the supporting act slots they play in the States (or at random heavy metal festivals in Europe) to audiences of which only a few have ever even heard of them, in which they could focus on new-ish singles as well as these "prototype Violen Pop" ones such as OMDB and DEFY. Because there's definitely a difference in between playing a show in front of an audience who only just heard about the band five seconds ago (to put it bluntly lol) vs. playing a show in front of an audience who knows the lyrics to ALL their songs, not just the few singles they've maybe heard on the radio/tv. Sorry if I'm stating the obvious here lol, I don't mean to assume y'all haven't already thought about this yourselves, I'm just writing down my own thoughts 😅

That being said, of course I don't know what it takes to rotate multiple different setlists instead of using just one setlist tour after tour 🤔 I don't know how much they have to practice their setlists before the go on tour? Naively I assume they know how to play their own songs (not counting the brand new ones they've never played live 😅). In any case, the reason I was low-key disappointed with the ice hall show was very much because of the setlist, which was the exact same as at the cruise the day before and at Pakkahuone the day after. Pakkahuone, in my opinion, was "just" a regular club show, i.e. not a special one like one expects a goddamn ice hall one to be, so the ice hall one didn't really feel as special as it could've been. Sure, the visual effects were cool and Robin was there which was definitely not expected lol, but in therms of the songs they played it was more or less like any other BC show. But idk, I wonder if the hassle with the bankruptcy of their booking agency maybe had some effect on how the show turned out? 🤷‍♀️

The Nokia Arena show is said to last for about 1½ hours. Now, if their headline shows on the spring tour last about 60 minutes, I really hope that the extra half an hour at the Nokia Arena show will not be filled with just some more light shows, pyros and other visual effects, but instead with actual music! I'm not expecting them to play some of their reaaaaaaaally old songs like Naysayers or whatever (unpopular opinion: not a huge fan of their super older stuff lol sorry), but even some less-played songs from Violent Pop? One of their recent setlist decisions I really can't understand is that Timebomb was dropped to give room to newer songs, because not only in my own humble opinion but also objectively speaking I think that song is one of their best ever. It's such a fucking masterpiece and definitely among the top 5 best songs they've ever made. Obviously any artist/band is in love with their newest songs and thinks that every new song they drop is the "best song we've ever made!!" but honestly I doubt that the 12 songs on Exit Emotions are going to be the best 12 songs they've ever written 😶 (because, again, in my extremely subjective opinion, all of the singles from LOTSAD alone have been better than any single from the new album, excluding maybe Die Another Day. not saying I hate the new songs, but none of them are going to my personal top 10 of BC songs. but yeah, obviously BC's not making music with my personal preferences in mind lol, just stating my opinion again 😂 I have more opinions on their new music, but that's another post entirely)

Still, I'm excited for the Nokia Arena show and I'm sure it'll be fun 🥺 the Irish pub we went to after the Pakkahuone show is right next to it btw, so maybe that's our afterparty location settled, eh? 🥰

Kyle was in her ranch-style house and had just answered her door to surprisingly, Andy. But, Andy didn't seem like himself. He was dressed up in a black tux with a white shirt and red tie and black loafers. The time was 9pm and everyone on her block were asleep.

Kyle:

Hey, Andy. What are you doing here?

Andy:

Oh you know, just came for a quick hi.

Kyle:

Well, come in, it's cold.

Kyle welcomes Andy in and the screen skips time to them both in Kyle's modern kitchen.

Kyle and Andy were in the middle of a conversation whilst Kyle had a coffee and Andy had a beer.

Kyle:

So, still no nightmares?

Andy:

No. Have you?...

Andy asks with one eyebrow raised with a slight frown.

Kyle:

Andy, he died a while ago and won't come back. You know I don't.

Andy:

Well, I'm sorry to break the news to you Kyle, but what can I say? He has risen.

Andy smirks and takes a gun out of one of his back pockets and aims the gun at Kyle's heart. Kyle gets startled and puts her hands up with a slight shake of fear.

Kyle:

A-andy...what's going on?

Andy:

You just got too comfortable without worrying about me coming back, didn't ya?

Andy's Hazel eyes transition into a glow of blue and transition back into Hazel.

Kyle:

Andy...don't do this...

Andy:

You thought I'd leave you and Andy to rot in piece, huh!?

Andy shakes violently whilst holding the gun at Kyle's heart. He steps forward whilst she steps back at little.

Kyle:

N-no...

Kyle is visibly uncomfortable and anxious whilst Andy has a smile or mischief and revenge.

Andy:

Fucking hell, I never you you'd be able to not pull a gun out on me.

Kyle:

W-well...I just never expected this...

Whilst Andy is rambling om about Chucky's revenge, Kyle slides her hand into one of the kitchen drawers and pulls a gun out and then aims the gun in the middle of Andy's eyes.

Kyle:

Fuck off, Chucky...I don't want Andy to be in this state anymore...

Andy:

Well, here's our game. You can kill me, you kill Andy, or, you can drop the fucking gun and own up for how many times you've slipped away from me.

Kyle puts the gun down on the counter but accidentally slips her hand on a knife that was on the chopping board when she was making herself a salad. Her palm bleeds and Andy looks at it before falling down and becoming unconscious.

Later that evening, Andy's Hazel eyes flutter back open and he sees himself laying on Kyle's couch. Kyle was standing up and watching over Andy whilst walking back and fourth in a line across the room.

Andy:

W-what...happened?...

Kyle:

Suprise, dick. You're now chucky.

Andy:

Yeah, I know that but why am I here? Are you okay?

Kyle:

I'm as fine as I was were before you showed up. You?

Andy:

I'm alright.

Kyle:

Well, you owe me one after nearly murdering me!

Andy:

Yeah, right, see what Chucky says.

Andy sits up and looks around at his surroundings before focusing on Kyle again as she gives him his beer from before.

Andy:

How will we get rid of him?

Kyle:

Well, we either Damballa or exorcism you, but exorcism isn't a choice we've got this year so Damballa it is.

Andy:

Why can't we do an exorcism?

Kyle:

Well can we just find a priest and tell them before they think we're insane!?

Tiny clarification: this happens on an A/B/O AU, where Alphas can mind control Omegas after marking them

"I'm preying on you tonight, (Y/N)." She hears that fearsome voice in her mind, but she can't see him anywhere. (Y/N) flees, running fast through the city and trying to get as far away as possible from her hunter, but she knows it's no use.

Indra made sure to scar her, to be able to track and chase her until finding her, leaving a mark on her neck that unites them in a private and deep way. She couldn't hide even if she wanted to, and her biggest mistake was allowing him to bite her.

"Hunt you down eat you alive, just like animals." He speaks in a leisurely, calm pace, as if he's sure he'll have no trouble locating her. (Y/N) looks in all directions expecting to suddenly find him on the street, to see him turn around some corner or get out of some car, catch her in his cruel claws and devour her right then and there.

It doesn't happen, where is he?

"Maybe you think that you can hide yet I can smell your scent for miles." She gets even more nervous, unable to stop running, trying to gain distance between the two. For Alphas being able to detect Omegas no matter the distance is unfair in cases like this, where the dominant simply loses his mind and the submissive is trapped in a vortex of madness and doom.

She cannot separate from him even if she wishes it with her heart and soul, imprisoned by the ownership mark he left between her clavicle and ear.

"What you trying to do to me?! It's like we can't stop, we're enemies!" (Y/N) mentally answers, trying to make him understand she doesn't want him around, that she prefers to run away all her life than to be in his hands again.

Of course, it is impossible to escape from Indra.

"But we get along when I'm inside you." Is the only thing he replies, and the lack of agitation in his words makes her understand that he is in no hurry to capture her. The cat and mouse game could take days with him, weeks or months, time he will use to demolish her psychologically and catch her when she least expects it.

"You're like a drug that's killing me, I cut you out entirely!" (Y/N) speaks inside her mind, making the message reach him without having to move her lips. She pauses for a second to catch her breath, tired and desperate, unable to think what to do.

She was lucky to make it to the street and run, yet it may be over soon.

"But I get so high when I'm inside you, (Y/N)."

She shivers with panic and pleasure all at the same time, because even though she tries to deny it, that mark Indra left on her neck allows him to amplify her pleasure, make her malleable and earnestly enjoy what he would believe appropriate. He turned her into his doll, and relaxed in the belief that she would not have enough will to break that forced spell.

"You can start over, you can run free, you can find other fish in the sea. You can pretend it's meant to be..." He puts suspense into each statement, and the woman can imagine the satisfied smile he must have on his face as he speaks "But you can't stay away from me."

"I can still hear you making that sound, taking me down rolling on the ground..." She responds without even thinking, the sensation Indra forces through the mark choking her mind and making her lose control. E

It's too dangerous, even more so when Alphas are this powerful.

She feels how her desire to fight disappears, how he eats every part of her spirit little by little, stripping her of that impulse that made her run away, escape from him. Indra devours her insides even without being present, plaguing her mind with complicated words and assaulting her body with terrible sensations.

For someone so evil to generate so much pleasure is just wrong.

"So... if I run it's not enough, you're still in my head forever stuck... I guess you can do what you wanna do..." She hears herself, but does not recognize her words. Tiredness, panic, urgency, all those factors contribute to making her vulnerable, weak, ready to fall into the hunter's hands.

"I love your lies (Y/N), I'll eat 'em up, but don't deny the animal that comes alive when I'm inside you." He is close, she can feel his presence everywhere at the same time, stalking her and waiting for the perfect moment.

That sensation brings her soul back to her body, closing her mind with effort to stop the man from talking to her, ignore him, to continue with her attempt of escaping.

"Don't tell no lie... you can't deny... the beast inside..." Are the last words before erasing him completely from her head, making disappear with her naked will any attempt he might have to capture her with mental traps.

The mark he left on her neck gives him an advantage, of course, but (Y/N) won't give up. She will escape as far as necessary, she will travel as long as it takes, and will not submit to the desires of an Alpha who manipulates her as he wishes.

Indra will not catch her.

The beginning of ch.40 was so hot roo! Poor Cinders fell limp to the floor and left alone😭. And I read in the comments that Loki knows about after care but doesn’t do it 😫. How cruel (but I like him cruel😳) Does he not notice how Cinders seems to not mind those forehead kisses and when he stays the night 😫? Loki seems to want some type of intimacy and she does too but in her position is unsure to give it since she’s always following his commands and she doesn’t want to see him mad at her. I’m glad that she had that moment with Odin! She’s been bottling it up and treated like a doll and pulled in every direction. The entire family seems to forget that she has feelings too and she’s very vulnerable, they definitely only see their wants of what Cinders can give them and bless Odin for capturing her in such dispare. She needed that embrace ( I too would like to be held by Anthony Hopkins with his soothing voice). I just get that worried feeling that Loki caught them in an embrace and he’s going to be even crueler and colder to her., because he’s selfish and jealous and wants to be the only one Cinders pays attention too. Even ignore her at the event which will only make Cinders wilt (maybe she was a bit secretively excited to show him the dress) and be open to Thors clutches😢. Sorry this is so long 😅.

Anyhow, Cinders. Oh poor thing. Loki definitely wants affection but he can't get out of his own way. The one time Cinders initiated anything and gave him the massage, he was suspicious. I suppose that's an effect from his divorce. He has trust issues and doesn't wanna let his walls all the way down.

Odin was good to be there for her. She's been holding a lot in, a lot more than just the Odinsons and their games. I don't know about Loki's reaction… it would definitely be a case of him expecting her to only come to him. After all, he protected her from Thor, she should feel safe with him.

As for Walpugisnacht… we shall see! I can only imagine regardless of Loki's behaviour, Cinders will take everything as negative with all the pressure. And Thor is waiting for another chance.

another aspect i like is when the story focuses a lot on imperial politics and high society strategizing etc, i find it really fascinating!! basically the heavier, more dramatic stuff, as opposed to light topics & fluffy romance all throughout the story :3

i've already mentioned my faves i think but i can go a little further. you've already mentioned navier who's a real queen, but when it comes to scheming main characters I can mention:

The Villainess Is A Marionette: the setting is a bit all over the place with the inspiration but the art is gorgeous and both she and her twin brother are schemers and tbh even if he is the villain sometimes I feel like siding with him ahah. There's a lot of intrigue and court factions in it!

The Way To Protect The Female Lead's Older Brother: i am in love with this webtoon, not only the art is gorgeous, everyone in it is kinda insane. The fl doesn't want to be a villainess but has to become it in order to survive and isn't she an amazing villainess? I also somehow really love the male lead, I like when they deviate from the buff guy stereotype, he has a very youthful vibe (and I loved that he was a prisoner of the fl's family at the beginning of the story). I also love the other male lead and I normally despise the second guy very bad, but tbh as someone who read the ending of the novel I personally wouldn't know who I was really hoping to win in the end. Anyway, if you like gothic and a little gory themes and a lot of scheming this is also very pretty.

The Broken Ring: I really like the female lead so much, she's one of my favorite in existence. When you read villainess webtoons, most of them are just normal girls who end up a villainess and conquer everyone with their charm/sweetness, but in this case she is a girl who gets to live her life for the third time and after suffering in both the previous lives she is quite tired and just wants to marry her 'no thoughts in that pretty head' chosen husband and live on her own. There's not that much of a plot with adventures and kidnapping but I love that it has a very mature feel.

The Villainess Lives Twice: if you like the fl of villainess turns the hourglass you will also like her. The plot does sometimes get a little unbelievable but there's a lot of politics and intrigues and going to ballrooms to make connections, I definitely recommend but don't expect a very how can I say refined plot.

I tamed my ex husband's mad dog: I thought it was a little strange at the beginning bc it's one of those adopting a very cute weak teenager and then he grows up to be my knight who loves me and I can't control him anymore damn, and when they meet he's 16 and she's 25, but ACTUALLY I'll put the spoiler after a few lines bc idk how to write it in white so you can avoid it ;;

apparently the guy is a isekai returnee as well? So he was just pretending to be a child after reincarnating?

Do of this what you want. Anyway they're both kinda selfish and trying to use the other for their selfish reasons in the end.

The Princess Imprints a Traitor: this is also one of those stories that are about a returnee who comes back and tries to change the past. She's absolutely not a villainess, but I like how smart she is, how she protects her people, and how she goes hard into politics because the only way to save everyone would be becoming crown princess and changing things herself. Also the plot is very unique, with magic and alchemy and spellbound servants who serve their masters in bed? Although she's too noble so she refuses lol

Isn't Being a Wicked Woman Much Better? I live for people who become a villainess and decide to keep living as a villainess. She's smarter than everyone, she's rich, she has power, I just hope she can leave everyone penniless and enjoy herself forever.

I'll be the matriarch in this life/I shall master this family: she's not exactly a villainess but after returning from the dead Florentia is the most scheming and business savvy 5yo and then 8yo and then 12yo in existence. I've been waiting for her to grow up for two seasons and I can't wait for her to show me what she can do in the next seasons as well. It's more light-hearted compared to everything I've recced until now but I think it's a top read and I love the fl <3

So,i kinda spoilered myself abt jin's moment of "assholery" by reading other asks/anons so i was expecting to read abt it sooner or later & .. i dunno,maybe bc i was expecting it or smth i'm not as mad at him as i thought i would be? lemme explain myself better: i fully agree that his hostility & antagonising of y/n is completely unfair,uncalled 4 & puts him in the wrong 100%. but i also feel like it makes totally sense to have this reaction from him in order 4 the story to progress in this way. what i mean is that it's obvious that both him & hobi come from a place of privilege,from a life that isn't as close to the direct effects of bigotry(etc) as y/n's is. ofc bc they both are lykos & adults & informed(tnx also to hearing abt the effects of bigotry & discrimination from their mates that deal w/ it at wrk) BUT their lives were never fundamentally shaped around the harsh reality of everything that being a lyko entails in this wrld as much as it has happened w/ y/n. & bc of this, they still are at a stage where they can't fully understand y/n nor grasp what pulls the strings behind her thinking,her behaviour,her reactions. & i think that's just to be expected, it's natural that a privileged person is not gonna be able to wrap their head around most things that come w/ interacting w/ somebody who's not priliged like them & has seen & lived the worst the status quo can put somebody of that marginalised group through. This puts them in a very important position where if they will come around makin y/n a part of their lives,they will have to do a lot of wrk of learning new & diff realities that exist outside of their own,on a deeper lv of just being aware of it from a distance gifted to you by your privilege. & in that process of learning, they can become the most powerful allies to y/n in her own process of unlearning internalised hatred & discrimination instead, & introduce her better to their way of seeing likos & omegas in their reality that isn't centered around saps but their families & pack's life. said that,does that justify jin's hostility toward y/n,does it make it ok? N to the hell O,no absolutely. it makes sense from a realistic pov & it sets ground 4 opportunities to come to terms w/ his biases & starts to unlearn them in the future,as the story progresses ofc, but it won't save him from catchin' these hands 4 sure!!😃🤜

i may also think that it would be a tiny lill' bit satisfying in the future to see him( when he's already done the inner wrk of unlearning & reconciliated w/ y/n) look back at this 1st moments & see them under a totally diff & new light & feel remorse/guilt a lil bit...just a lil bit😊🤏 (if that happens in the story i mean. i don't know yet & this is just the magic that's part of the reader experience! don't feel pressured of anything,these are all just my rambles & speculations ofc ^^)

-even tho we still have to get a proper taste of him(which is super fine,things are going w/ the pace u write them to!^^), i abso love how u'r writing tae so far! esp how u pictured his artistic & more sensisitive side & how u showed it as smth that is valued & respect by all pack members! it is refreshing both in the sense of seeing it represented by an alpha character & also by a male character. it really left a deep impression in me & made me fall deeper in love w/ your writing!😄💜

-Another refreshing choice of yours that i really have an emotional attachment to at this point is making hobi a power-boss-i wear the pants in the house-omega! not only that,but he's also an omega that by choice & in completely autonomy taps into his own softness & domestic role,while not being seen as less or weaker bc of that,quite the opposite,he's seen as basically the leader,the person that everybody relies on 4 decision-makin' & management of their home,pack & dynamics! a role that most of times i've seen assigned to namjoon or jin as solely alphas tho,so it's nice to see u break out of that mold

-I also i'm a huge fan of how u represent y/n's internalised bigotry, through a voice & constant internal fighting between aspects of herself that she sees either as diff versions of herself or parts she refuses to acknowldge or see as herself anymore.

-this story feels to me like a story that will eventually become the narration of a journey of unlearning, of healing & finding self-worth within & so much more... w/ huge amounts of angst along the way... i dunno if this is what u have in mind ofc,but whatever direction this story will head into,ik 4 sure i won't be disapointed & i'm gonna love both the ride & the destination regardless cause your writing is THAT MUCH GOOD!!

Duuuuuude i thought you died or something and i missed you too. Like so much. I love your asks. They're never too much. I love how you pick up literally all the things i put down in my writing. Like you mention things I've been hoping someone would mention. I should let you know in case you didnt see that chapter 7 was posted a few days ago. And that's where a lot of the jin anger came from 👀 but its good bc im ready to jump into this ask, and im gonna go completely out of order.

First of all, I'm so glad you brought up her internal dialog and how they are actually different parts of herself. The italicized voice is her instinctual, most internal self. Like her real consciousness, and i hear it as very soft. It's almost a child's voice, and its almost always pleading in the most heartbreaking way just to have its needs met. The saddest part is that so often she doesn't hear it as herself. The bold italic voice is actually a combination of many voices, thats why its bold. Sometimes its just one pretty agressive voice, as someone from her past who has wormed its way into her head and multiplied there. Sometimes i hear it as many layered voices, like some kind of legion of demons trying to shut down her little voice. And its sad bc one of those voices is just the part of her that has developed to protect herself. Like it tells her not to do things that she needs but knows will get her in trouble, like nesting. The worst part is that more often than not she sides with/backs up the bold voice with her own deliberate thoughts. She still refuses to give her inner child what it needs and its so heartbreaking. The development of these voices throughout the story is one thing im really looking forward to developing (sorry i have thought so much about this)

You got it right with your analysis of their privilege! There's a little bit of a divide within the pack when it comes to privilege and how much it touches each of them. Its a reason jimin and yoongi have a special relationship with each other, not that it's better than the others, just different bc they understand things the others never will truly get. But they will try. Jin and yn will eventually have a relationship of trying to understand each other and jin will definitely regret those early days. We're a bit far from that for now 😬

Im glad you like tae too! He's kind of got a sad story that we're not ready to focus on yet, but seeing mc bring out a confident side in him will be worth the wait 🥰

Hobi is so powerful and strong and in charge, everyone else is lucky to be in his presence. Honestly he coddles Jin a little too much sometimes and thats part of how he got as bad as he is but wait you have to read chapter 7 and 8 🤐

Thats exactly what this story is about! Its bts so i feel like they're perfect for a Love Yourself journey! They're a good pack for her because they wont let all the troubles of this world leak into their home. They'll protect her from the systemic violence that has really destroyed her from the outside in. Its going to be a tough but i think very rewarding journey!

Either way the dog keeps appearing around the Habiticians even if they're in different places, suspiciously before significant events, like an omen. It remains to be seen if Tim Tam and their "shortcuts"( AKA TELEPORTING) is somehow involved in this.

Yeah, Parsley had it kind of Rough too. His Mom( I'm still figuring out her 'human' name. Her real one would make mortal's tongues go mad twisting in their mouths trying to form a language they were never meant to speak ) and Dad( or "Appa" HEEHE. Hes just a. Guy. Who coincidentally keeps crushing for vampires and demons I GUESS ) really fell into a disaster of a time raising him. They could never agree on what he should do, how he should be raised, where he should go, what to learn...

An example of that is that his Mom is Extremely Stern, being a prosecutor in The Underworld Court and stuff where things are generally corrupt and sometimes draconian. She's been trying to make a change in it, and that requires that sort of strength. Jim, though, Jim is casual and forgiving to the point where his kid later grows up to be a callous ( and packed with guilt for it. You know whats in that ham's suitcase? Baggage. ) sort, having spent much time with him.

So yeah, his parents split( though they were not married), and Pars' core of self hatred due to it never quite heals fully.

But yeah Parmesan Bunches does a lot of stuff ( forgery of papers, still stealing stuff, lying whenever, procrasinating for extremely long times to everyone's detriment, bribing etc...TBH it's not like EXTREMELY bad stuff. It's just that taking this route a lot causes problems anyway, and in this case gives him low self- confidence ) that'd make his parents Displeased in the process of trying to build his own identity through all that turmoil and be independent for himself, though he buckles under his own pressure as well. Sure he's winning every case he takes on through the shady means. But at what cost??

Well, last night pretty much went as expected lol. The kids arrived around dinner time. We had a meeting with their mom, just to cover all the bases and make sure we're all on the same page still. She is %100 on board with our plans for a more strict and structured summer. She said she hopes that they can develop new habits that they can take home with them and continue on their own and even teach their mom about, and that's my hope, too. Sustainability is the goal.

My husband wanted to wait until their mom left to start giving them the breakdown on what's going on, and that didn't go very well. The youngest handled everything like a champ; she's very interested in being physically healthier and seems to be looking forward to it all. We knew the oldest would struggle the most. They're very emotional, they dislike almost all activities outside of gaming and chatting on discord with friends, and they have the pickiest pallet I've ever experienced. And naturally, they were upset, but I was surprised by some things that upset them.

They were mad at us for not telling them sooner. Apparently, they had their blood work done months ago, which I didn't know. I know it can take a week or two to get results, but it is true that they should have known what their health status was much earlier than now. They were upset that their mom didn't stay for the info drop; they wanted to talk it through with all of us, which I totally understand. And they were PISSED about the new rules lol; no fast food/convenience food unless necessary, reduced screen time, mandatory physical activity time. Dinner was a stressful; apparently they don't like rice, they don't like ANY kind of veggie (which I knew was coming, but they had to have one serving no matter what. They got to choose it from a big variety though), and it took them an hour to 'force' down a couple leaves of baby greens.

All but the last thing, I totally understand and find very valid. I completely understand how they can feel betrayed or left in the dark about their own bodies and health status. Frankly, we were shocked just last week when we got the news about the severity of it all; I can't imagine finding out months later that you're not doing so great. But I was stuck in the position of explaining that their mom wasn't trying to be malicious, she's just extremely non confrontational and hates being the 'bad guy' and will even go to unhealthy lengths to avoid doing something uncomfortable. Of course I was careful with my words. I'm not trying to shit talk their mom right to their faces. But unfortunately, they're both young teens now, and they have to start learning some self reliance, especially considering that their custodial guardian can't push past their own emotions in order to provide healthy care.

So we let them know. We told them their diagnosis, we answered every question they had, we explained what everything meant, and we mapped out a clear plan of action with them. The oldest is not happy, but they will adjust. And in a way, I'm relieved that they realize that they are unwell, that they don't want to be, and that they can change it for the better if they're willing to do the work. We had a clearly defined bedtime last night, removed all the devices from their room, and even stashed away all the 'junk' food, in case anyone got the midnight munchies and might go looking for a snack lol. It was tough, but it went well overall. It was just the first night 😭 lol.

I feel so bad. I, too, feel angry that we weren't alerted to the severity of the situation as soon as possible. I'm very angry that their mom isn't willing to face this head on and take direct action; she buried the lede when she told us about it, and she wasn't even doing the bare minimum to change things for them in the meantime. The doctor prescribed them some supplements, and she wasn't enforcing their regular consumption. She was acting like everything was fine. And now we have to shock the kids' systems and totally shake up their lifestyles, which isn't very fair to us or them. But this is an issue we've known their mother has had their whole lives. She's far too passive and permitting, and they are spoiled on a regular basis. And now we reap the illnesses we've sowed.

So the big struggle is still yet to come. Will they be able to continue this when we aren't around? God I hope so.

I loved how you gave your thoughts in the end about everything & the ending was not what I had expected at all, but I still do love it, I really loved how in most series some authors would have made the ending a bit more well winning (?) like Y/N's mom would be fully healed, all her bullies would go to jail, all that. I love how you kept it more realistic because like you said, they are all high schoolers after all & even though Y/N didn't completely get justice she did get a happy ending in my perspective. She was free from her bullies & even though her mom did die, she still had someone by her side, I feel like that's what Y/N had always wanted, freedom & friends, someone to be by her side when she needed them. I also loved how you didn't turn Y/N into a heartless person just because of revenge, like when Jake was dying, even though he & his friends had done some horrible things to her, she still saved him. Some other people would have written Y/N in such a way that she would just leave him dying, I really did like how you changed Jake in the end, I know some people would have gotten mad about that, but when Jake saw that even though he had done so many things to Y/N, she still saved him, it would have made him feel guilty about everything. Although it is hard to accept, even some of the most horrible people can change & I find it really nice that Y/N proposed to keep contact with Jake in the end. I just really loved how you portrayed Y/N in this series. It wasn't unrealistic or the typical 'Y/N' she was relatable in some ways & also showed that everyone, no matter who they are or what they've been through, deserve justice.

I am a little sad that the series is over & I'll have nothing to look forward to on Sundays😔but I'm also happy this is the end😭

yess I felt like I had to write a note at the end just bc of the ending being a bit '' unusual '' lol. I like it and I hope the majority do as well even tho u can't make everyone happy. I'm happy u thought that she did get a pretty happy ending as well. That's definitely all she wanted, I believe she didn't realize it until she caught feelings for Soobin and even more so towards the end when she realized just how lonely she'd always been; that THAT was way more important than any revenge. 💗

I love that you pointed that out bc I definitely wanted to highlight y/n's inner struggles and whether it's wrong for a victim to make that choice - to leave their perpetrator to suffer or to die, or if they are obliged to help. I feel like it was a super interesting psychological situation and I was super excited to see people's reactions to it. Turns out most people would've saved him, they felt for him in that moment despite his past actions.

Absolutely! He definitely changed because of that one crucial moment. It's hard to see that bc it's not exactly a common situation to be in, where you have a chance to save your bully's life or not. Either way, from my perspective it would change many people to be so close to death. You'd either fear that happening again, maybe connected to a spiritual idea of you being warned of karma or you'd just feel indebted to this person for life. In Jake's case, the debt was changing to show that he truly regretted what he did.
