I just couldnt merge the two series so I made separate ones. To be fair, I haven’t really read 4koa so my opinion may be misguided but whatever (and I also haven’t watched 7ds in a while also, so…) PLEASE hear me out anyway😭🙏

I don’t have much to say about favorite character, I’m literally in love with Howzer and I’ve never loved a character as much as him. for Chion, he’s just an asshole and that’s enough for me. He has a lot of potential as a character and I’m really excited for him in the series, I would not be his friend IRL though because he would literally be the worst person to be around. And you know what, everyone can hate him but I will always appreciate him😚💖Gilthunder, Diane and Donny are runner ups for fav character!

To be honest, I don’t TOTALLY dislike Ban but…idk. I don’t like him very much, but not only for the very obvious Elaine related reasons. Something he did at the beginning of 7ds kinda stuck with me, when he tried to kill Meliodas to get Elaine back. I guess it’s supposed to be, like, heartbreaking that he wants his woman back so bad he’d kill his best friend???? Mid battle???? Like girl this is not about you rn😭 Idk if my friend tried to kill me to get her boyfriend back, I think I’d have to kill her idk that’s just me😭 and I’m really sorry to the Ban fans because I know he’s a good character and I get that he becomes a better friend later, that scene just stuck with me though

I feel like this might not be a super unpopular opinion but I didn’t really like Escanor at first. Ig I just didn’t really care about him. I like his night time self, he’s very sweet and dorky. The thing I like about SUPER confident and cocky characters is them getting taken down a notch, which he was, twice, so it’s fine. For Tristan, I’m so sorry but I really didn’t care for him at all😭 Before I read most of the scenes with him in it, I thought he was SOOOO bland and boring. Like, he was just nice, and loved, and that’s it. He seems like a character that thinks everything is his fault, which isnt a problem with him or his character, I just don’t really like characters like that. I like that he looks more like Elizabeth, I think that’s nice. Anyway I like him now and I think he’s more complex than I thought before!

I dislike Guinevere for the obvious reasons that everyone hates her for so I don’t have much to say😭I guess to cover the least favorite ship category, I don’t like her and Lancelot together and that one scene was super weird. I like her design tbh, she’s super cute, but yeah…

I honestly don’t dislike Veronica, I just like her design more than her herself😭She’s super caring and sweet, and loyal, just very abrasive sometimes. When she interacts with people and her family especially, you can tell that she really cares, even if she’s kinda mean. Anyway I love da bob and her dress, it’s very cute😌 on the flip side, I like Tioreh herself WAY more than her design. I honestly cannot pin down what I don’t like about her design, I just really really don’t like it😭 I’m sorryyyyyy

For the fav ships, I don’t have too much explaining to do (I’m gonna keep saying that and I’m lying every single time). For Gilthunder x Howzer, I just really love the friends to lovers trope. Although a One-sided! Howzer x Gilthunder is probably more realistic. Anyway I love their friendship as it is :) To be honest I never liked rivals to lovers until this Chion x Donny phase I have going on right now, I have no explanation for this I just think they’re cute.

Elizabeth is super sweet, and honestly I don’t mind her voice, she is such a caring friend. Jade is just like, the most normal character I think ever so I would be his friends irl, probably😭

I would NOT be friends with Gowther, I feel like he would expose me so often, and like, one of my biggest fears is that someone is reading my mind, so he’s literally my nightmare, and I don’t wanna know him😭

Your bit about Chirox being the hand that Mocs and comparing him to smash bro's master hand gave me a thought

Mutran is the crazy hand to Chriox's master hand

And to tie them into lego symbolism like you've been trying to do, both hands are competing ideas about how a Moc should be constructed, constantly dueling to see what works and what doesn't

(Mutran would probably also represent illegal building techniques too)

OHOHO I love this idea so much! And I guess if there's a Master Core equivalent, it's the Antidermis released, paying homage to Teridax's MNOG form as well!

Yeah, this works perfectly because Mutran and Chirox have always been joined at the hip, always been a duo, the trope of the artists with competing visions. I have little doubt that this connection was inspired when Greg realized how similar the two look, after all...

While Chirox's Rahi are more of a destructive, mean-spirited vibe, Mutran's are more... experimental. Weird. Absurd. Still agonizing and unfair to the victims he disassembles, but you can sort of respect what he's going for here. Neither of these philosophies are sustainable, and must be stopped however.

So YES to that idea of Mutran being illegal building techniques, while Chirox is willing to be more pragmatic, function over form; Hence being represented by a swarm of spiders, whereas Mutran wants to put in time and effort into each creation, quality over quantity. So Chirox is creating the mass-produced enemies, the ones for whom there are multiple instances of, while Mutran makes the unique one-of-a-kind bosses (Which is meta since they were respectively a canister and Titan set). I actually have a post comparing these two characters and their philosophies from a while back, which ties into this interpretation.

Them being separate hands of the same entity is also a lot of fun. I intended for Makuta in this universe to seemingly be a spider-like entity, only for it to be revealed that what our heroes have been fighting is just his hand, in an Alaskan Bullworm twist. The full titan this hand is connected to resembles Chirox's depiction in G1... But we can also have it resemble Mutran with this 'Crazy Hand' addition, because again; These two already looked similar, so it doesn't require much change.

Maybe we could go with the idea that one hand is named Chirox, the other is named Mutran; Both offshoots of a larger, mutual entity known as Makuta! A nice reference to their shared title and heritage from G1. I wonder how the introduction of a second Makuta would turn out; Maybe there are scenes showing Makuta tearing things apart to make all sorts of weird stuff, but eagle-eyed viewers will note that the asymmetrical design seems flipped sometimes, and that there's a correspondence between what we see each angle of Makuta create.

We get the classic "There are twins" reveal, and after both hands are beaten, individually and/or together, the whole lair collapses to reveal the monster they're attached to; Their mutual true form, which takes back the title of Makuta in clarification. While his hands are differentiated as Mutran and Chirox afterwards... Two sides of the same coin, or rather entity. Kind of like how MNOG Makuta is implied to just be the destructive side to Mata Nui's chaos, so maybe the brothers are just personalities/design philosophies for the same Great Spirit Robot?

So we bring back the idea of Makuta having a brother he hates and is jealous of... Except this brother isn't good either, so maybe the heroes get them to fight each other, and/or Mutran and Chirox manage to put aside their differences to focus on these pesky heroes! Like in G1...

(When all is said and done, we cut to Will Ferrell tenderly nursing his hands as a Stepping on Lego joke is made, but for hands instead of feet.)

Hi, sorry about the anon but I’m shy. I know you probably get this all the time but I just wanted to gush over your soulmate trope series. I spent my entire weekend binging it and then rereading it all. I can’t get over how talented and subtly funny you are! Your prose is so touching and then you can just flip the moment and dispel some of that tension with a joke that most people could not pull off, it’s artful!!

Bakugo being a little shit and not telling reader his hypothesis, letting her pull her own schemes and letting her suffer! I don’t even like Monoma, I hate Monoma, but you managed to write him in a way that was so charming and endearing that I couldn’t put it down. The paragraph about Shouto hiding all of his true feelings from the world and reader’s determination to draw those out into the open got me in the heart, I just sat and contemplated how this interpretation could be applied to canon Shouto for a while. Aizawa’s desire to be noble to the point he was willing to sacrifice his own happiness and by extension the happiness of his soulmate because he thinks he knows better was just *so* Aizawa to me (not to memtion the incredible sex scene after so much build up between the characters and their dancing around these dynamics they clearly would fall so easily into). Shinso wasn’t even the focus of his chapter for me, I related so heavily to the reader’s insecurity and anxiety and *everything*. It was like you crawled into my mind and fished out all of the things I personally struggle with to put into a reader character.

And Dabi’s chapter? I’ve re-read it three times. It’s so devastating and sweet and sad and hopeful. His physical insecurity, struggling with the things he’s done and wanted to do, not feeling worthy of a soulmate and at the same time not wanting one because he assumes she will paint him into a corner the same way everyone else in his life has. His struggle with intimacy and the hypersexuality he uses to overcompensate. Feeling actually physically ill at what he subjected his soulmate to before they were even destined for each other. And I’ve never even seen seeing through each other’s eyes as a soulmate trope before, to *me* it’s so unorthodox and unique, and you used it so *well*. I’m in awe at your creativity.

And you’ve been going at it for so *long*, I can see your passion and commitment. And your improvement!! Each chapter just gets better and better and better, more depth, more interesting prose, more complex emotions, such beautiful descriptions. If you ever have the desire and time to add more I just know you’ll continue to stun and amaze me in new ways. I hope school is going well for you, I just had to let you know how appreciated your writing is. ❤️

oh my god bakugou is soooo frustrating; i love him v v much. and i know a lot of people dislike monoma bc he's meant to be Stock School Rival in so many ways, so i'm so gruntled that he was working for you here :) and shouto!!! it's that todoroki Watch Him thing, y'know, and since reader Sees real shouto, she wants him to be seen by everyone :) that's sooooooo cool and flattering that shouto's route made you recontemplate some considerations for canon boy; i also tend to think of him as a little shit, but in a different flavour than bakugou. and goddddddd i think aizawa's route affects me the most bc of aizawa's "noble", stupid sacrifices to be a Good Man; he could have been happy immediately, but it would've been tinged with guilt, and he's suffered enough.

and oh!! it's so interesting that you say that shinsou isn't even the focus of the chapter for you but reader and her insecurities; you're, like, the third or fourth person to say--and that makes me immensely happy. really. bc i was nervous i was making her insecurities Too Specific so that no one would related to them, and with shinsou, i was like, okay, what's could i see as the best possible scenario for someone (me) feeling these anxieties? and shinsou is so willing to give--and it's reciprocal relief for him when, at the end, he doesn't have to too early. i'm hoping that some of it was a comfort to you, even if 1) shinsou not real. there are still good, good people out there who will be enormously kind to you in ways specifically helpful for you.

and ohhhhhh dabi. what a weirdo. idk and am frankly scared of what canon will do to dabi in the end, so i wanted him to be more than okay, but realistic. when you have a mental breakdown, it's realistic you end up living with your parents. you go back to childhood patterns and feel weird and out of place about them. nothing quite fits, and is everyone fooling you by being so kind? do they mean the kindness, or are they scared? what do you fall back on? i don't think he would know what to do at all besides hold someone at arms' length. and also i wanted dabi to be a weeb lol. i feel in my heart he was deeply into naruto and tries to pretend he isn't. and i haven't seen the "seeing through each other's eyes" either!! the closest i've encountered, i think, is when soulmates have a body-swop on a certain day of the year--birthdays, or something, and during that body swop, they rush to find each other. yeah idk i was trying to think of what to write for a dabi chapter, and the first scene that i thought of was the cafe scene where he holds up our chin while we're looking at ourself through him, and the details of how nervous we are and the sweat dripping down our neck. i try to avoid having non-reader POV bc i like second-person limited for readerfic, and i was trying to think about how i could express this strange, calm-but-nervous-and-sweaty look. and i thought, well, why can't we, the reader, be seeing that somehow? silly. but i think it could be fun and/or sexy. like you could both experience a stupid even so that you could bitch about it later together. or he could see what he looks like when he goes down on you. or if you're lost, he can try to recognise the surroundings. idk i think there could be a lot you could do with it, and perhaps some other people had ought to give this type of bond a try.

ultimately, this ask is incredibly, immensely kind and generous and absolutely the best thing i could've seen after an extremely tough semester. i can eat well on this ask forever. you seem to be the exact type of reader i love, who notices small stuff and structure. really, thank you so, so much. i am v v v grateful and a silly little jester at yer service :)

Caregiver Echo: Fantasy AUs are really popular for some reason? People are just really here for evil!prince!Shigaraki, I think. There's also a few childhood friend AUs or flipped roles where I'm evil and Shigaraki is just an innocent out there and I kidnap him >:)

Silvertongue Echo: mostly just a lot of different meet-cutes! People write about us meeting when Toshi's in hero form because we never interacted as Echo and All Might in canon. So lots of AUs where we meet with him rescuing me.

Cat's Paw Echo: non-Quirk High School AUs get written a fair amount, also a lot of omegaverse :V

Caregiver Echo: I mean the whole relationship is a bit cliche so it's tropes all the way down! The fics go more into the kink stuff but it's a bit 50/50 on who they make the dom/sub in the pair. Aside from that, all the usual 'villain redemption' tropes!

Silvertongue Echo: People really lean into my mental health in the fics and write a lot of hurt/comfort with me struggling with depression and things that come with that. And as I said, lots of meetcutes.

Cat's Paw Echo: lots of romantic blood drinking and trauma coping and sharing sad backstories

💘: Why would people love your ship? Why would people dislike your ship? How might it start debates? 🙈: Why would your ship be thought of as cute/fluffy? Why would your ship be considered problematic?

Hahahahaha oh THIS is a fun one: I have to answer them at the same time because they're similar answers!

Caregiver Echo: A classic story of love and redemption!!! Take care of that sad crusty boy! The masses love to see it! As I mentioned, we're ambiguously romantic in the canon content (some fans interpret it as platonic) so we are a VERY debated ship. There's an age gap and Shigaraki is clearly not familiar with interpersonal relationships so some people argue it would be creepy to ship it romantically, while others say it's encouraging the 'afab character saves dangerous man from his own emotions' story

Silvertongue Echo: I think people who dislike this ship just think it's boring and unnecessary to the plot? Adding romance is disrespectful to the point of the story, etc. But I'm sooo charming that most people like the ship anyways: we've got a sweet plot and we win most people over to our side! We don't get a lot of discourse: some people pick a fight with our age gap but it's not really noticeable from our designs so a lot of people forget about it tbh and also I'm a proper adult so who cares aside from the real sticklers

Cat's Paw Echo: Ohohoho big discourse on this one! My character is two years older than Toga which technically makes it an adult/minor relationship and that is Big Discourse, and then other League members are even older, so that's double discourse for the people who ship it as a poly thing. Evil gay people is also a point of discourse between me and Magne and Toga being all canon queer and basically no canon queer heroes. All of that said, people who see themselves in the outcast group and just want to run around like feral villains and get loved for being themselves without making themselves 'normal' go wild for the League and also for our ship!!!

A/N: Day 2 of Mileven week has arrived!!!! Guys, this story is my fluffiest yet and I also think it’s my best and favorite so far, I literally love it so much. Also, apparently I have a thing for domestic Mileven going on right now, so that’s fun, lmao. I hope you guys enjoy this one as much as I enjoyed writing it!!!! I’ve always been fascinated by the “main fanfic character dreams about original storyline/timeline” trope, tbh, so I was super excited to use it in here. (Spoiler alert, I guess? It’s mentioned like once, so it’s not a super big focus technically, lmao)

"Daddy, daddy, can you read to me again tonight?" Daisy asks her dad hopefully. Mike smiles at his daughter. They had read stories to her when she was younger, but she had insisted they stopped doing so, that she didn't need nor want them anymore. But recently, she's wanted her stories back again, and Mike and El are very happy to oblige.

"Of course, pumpkin, what story do you wanna read tonight?" He asked her, walking over to her little blue bookshelf in the corner of the room.

"I wanna read chapter 3!!" She tells him excitedly. Mike chuckles and nods his head, grabbing the paperback book laying on top of her shelves and walking back over to Daisy's bed, sitting on it next to her and leaning back against the headboard. Daisy snuggles up to his side and leans her head on his arm, watching and waiting for him to start. Mike wraps an arm around her and opens the book, flipping through the pages until he finds the beginning of the third chapter. He clears his throat and begins.

"Mike was entirely intrigued by El. There was just something about her. Something he couldn't quite explain just yet. But he was completely determined to figure it out. It was like whatever it was, was right on the edge of his mine but it wasn't really in the spotlight yet. Like it was making a slow crawl from his subconscious mind to his conscious mind. Maybe today would help him bring it all the way over. For now, he just had to focus on the task at hand, his current plans for the morning. 1.) Eat breakfast. 2.) Go down and give El breakfast. 3.) Have El go ahead with the plan he came up with last night. Once that was all done, maybe then he could focus more on other things.

He goes downstairs after getting ready for the day and takes not just two, but three waffles out of the box, once he's checked that no one else is looking. He waits for them to toast and then quickly shoves one of them into his jacket pocket, putting the other two on a plate and taking them to the kitchen table, sitting down beside his sister Nancy as he does so. He starts eating his food quickly, wanting to make sure he had the few extra minutes needed to go downstairs to El.

"Slow down, Mike, that's disgusting!" His sister complains from beside him.

Mike rolls his eyes, then gets an idea. "Did you get a lot of studying done last night?" He asks sarcastically, his mouth still full of food as he turns to look at her-"

"Why didn't he at least swallow his food first? That's gross. Boys are gross." Daisy complains from beside him.

Mike chuckles. "What, even your brothers?" He asks her, knowing that she absolutely adores her two younger siblings.

Daisy sighs. "I guess they're not as gross as other boys." She says, acting aloof.

Mike shakes his head at her fondly and continues reading right where he left off.

"Yeah, actually, I did." Nancy tells Mike matter-of-factly.

"What was your test on again?" Mike asks, tilting his head to the side as if in thought. "Human anatomy?" He asks her. Nancy gasps, offended and annoyed, and aims a kick at Mike under the table. Mike returns her annoyance and kicks her back.

"Hey, what's going on!?" Their mother asks them.

"Nothing!" Both of them say at the same time. Their mother just sighs at them and continues what she was previously doing. After that, MIke just finishes up his breakfast, puts his plate in the sink, and rushes to get downstairs. When he gets down there, he sees El awake and fiddling with his supercomm.

"Oh, hey, you found my supercomm. Pretty cool, huh? I talk to my friends with it. Mostly Lucas 'cause he lives so close. Signal's pretty weak." He tells her. She looks at him but doesn't say anything, so he continues. "I brought you breakfast." He tells her, pulling the waffle out of his pocket and holding it out to her. She takes it tentatively and begins to eat it."

Mike's next words are cut off before they can even start by another interruption from Daisy.

"Why does Mike get two waffles but El only gets one?" She asks him, looking up at her dad.

Mike tilts his head to the side, thinking for a moment, before looking back down at her. "I'm actually not sure about that, pumpkin. Maybe he couldn't take too many from the box so he only thought one would be best." He suggests. He himself wasn't even sure why it was a thing. He just knows that it's exactly how things happened in his dream, so he put it on paper the same way. It never occurred to him that it was a little random. It was more of something a child would pay more attention to than an adult, in a way.

Daisy lips turned down in a pout. "I don't think that's very fair. El should've gotten two waffles." She insists.

Mike chuckles and kisses the top of her head. "I guess you're right. I'll keep that in mind for next time." He tells her.

"Good." She says, nodding to herself as she turns back to the book in Mike's hands.

"So listen," Mike started again. "This is gonna sound a little weird, but I just need you to go out there." He pointed towards the basement door leading out into the yard and El followed his gaze before looking back at him as he continued. "Then go to the front door and ring the doorbell. My mom will answer and you'll tell her that you're lost and that you need help. But whatever you do, you can't tell her about last night or that you know me. Understand?" He asked, hoping El would get what he meant. She gave him a strange look and he tried to reassure her. "Really, it's no big deal. We'll just pretend to meet each other again. And my mom, she'll know who to call." He told her.

"No." El speaks the word that seemed to be one of the only ones she actually knew.

"No?" Mike questions her, confused.

"No." She repeats without hesitation.

"No you don't want my mom to get help?" He asks El, starting to realize that there was something more going on with this girl than he originally thought. "You're in trouble, aren't you? Who-who are you in trouble with?" He stutters, uncertain now.

"Bad." She tells him, leaving him to more interpretation.

"Bad? Bad people? They want to hurt you? The bad people?" He asks, his anxiety rising higher with each question out of his mouth. He wasn't sure why, it was more of that unexplained thing he keeps feeling with El, but the thought of someone trying to hurt El didn't sit right with Mike at all. It made him feel scared, but also angry. It wasn't a feeling that he enjoyed at all.

El reached a hand up and held out two of her fingers pressed together with her thumb sticking up, pointing it in the direction of her own head. Like a gun, Mike realized. Like someone was pointing a gun at her head. She then reached out and made the same gesture but pointing at the middle of Mike's chest this time. Then, she put her hand back down in her lap. "Understand?" She asked him quietly.

Mike nodded, swallowing. But before he could respond to her outloud, his mom called for him from upstairs. "Michael, where are you? We're going to be late. Let's go!" She tells him.

Mike quickly starts getting up, a plan already forming in his mind. "All right, I'll be back. Just stay here, okay? Stay here!" He says to El urgently, suddenly filled with a strange fear that she would decide to leave once he left the room. But El just stared at him as he stood back up, not seeming to have any plans to go anywhere else, and so Mike turned around and quickly ran up the stairs, out of El's sight."

Mike continues to read to Daisy until they've finished the entire chapter, ending off right as El promises Mike that she's okay when he finally lets her out of the closet. Mike closes the book and sets it on her nightstand, getting up and tucking her in all the way with a promise to continue the story tomorrow night. He turns off her main light and flicks on her fairy lights, closing the door behind him as he leaves the room.

He sighs softly, a smile on his face, as he walks down the hallway towards the twins' room. Since Daisy was in school, she had a more set sleep schedule. Her 3-year-old brothers, however, do not. Though it's not for lack of trying. Last he'd seen El and the boys, they were in their room cleaning up their toys from that day's play and activities. Usually once Daisy's in bed, they try their best to get their boys settled down at the very least to just do some coloring or watch a movie or two so that they're not running around while their sister is trying to sleep and they usually get to sleep easier that way.

Mike pushes the cracked bedroom door open the rest of the way gently, careful not to make too much noise in case the boys are already asleep, taking in the dark of the room. When the door no longer obstructs his vision, his face softens into an expression filled with love and affection. His wife is sitting in the middle of Jackson's bed, one hand holding a tablet that seems to be playing a movie while the other hand rests on her stomach. On either side of her are their two sons, Jackson on her right and Henry on her left, and both of them are asleep, soft snores leaving them as they lean against their mother's arms.

El looks up as Mike enters the room and she smiles brightly at him, absolutely glowing. "Hey." She whispers in greeting.

"Hey." Mike whispers back, returning her smile as he walks over to stand beside the bed.

El giggles softly as she pauses the movie playing on the tablet. "They both fell asleep right around when Merida's mother first turned into a bear." She tells him, turning the screen to show the movie on the screen, Brave.

"Oh, sleepy little boys tonight." He says, surprised.

"Apparently so." She replies. She looks up at him. "Mind helping me out of this trap they've created?" She jokes.

Mike laughs softly and nods. "Why of course, I'll get right on that." He tells her, reaching down and gently pushing his arms under Henry's back and knees, picking him up as best he can without disturbing him too much. He turns and gently lays Henry in his own bed, pulling the blanket up over him. Henry snuggles into his bed, sighing in his sleep and then laying still again. Mike leans down and kisses his temple gently before turning back towards Jackson's bed. El has now gotten up and the two of them switch places, El kissing Henry's temple while Mike kisses Jackson's.

As Mike stands up, El grabs his hand and intertwines their fingers together and heads towards the door, Mike following her lead as they leave the room and close it gently behind them.They walk down the hallway together in silence, heading towards their bedroom to settle in for the night. Once in their bedroom, El flicks on the lights and Mike walks over to their dresser to get out his pajamas for the night, humming softly to himself as he does so.

"Do you think she'll like it here?" El asks him softly. Mike turns around and sees her standing in front of their full length mirror, having taken her shirt off.

He walks over to her and gently wraps his arms around her from behind, his hands resting on her stomach. Her hands automatically come up to settle over hers and she leans back against him, Mike's chin on her shoulder. He meets El's eyes in the mirror. "I think she's going to absolutely love it here." He looks down at El's stomach. "Isn't that right, Anabelle?" Right as he asks his question, there's a strong kick from the inside of El's abdomen, and El gasps.

Mike laughs and presses his face into the side of El's. "See, she even agrees with me." Mike says matter-of-factly. He was beaming, grinning from ear to ear, and he knew that El was doing the same.

"You're such a dork." She says. "Both of you are, I just know it." She teases, rubbing at the spot that the kick came from.

Mike snorts. "She is my child after all. If not, we would have some serious problems." He retorts.

El playfully smacks his arm lightly, laughing. "Oh hush, you know she's yours." She tells him. Mike just chuckles in response. They stay like that for awhile, just holding each other and their unborn baby, enjoying the noises of nighttime in their house in contented silence. Eventually, El leans more heavily against Mike and she turns her head to gently nuzzle her nose against Mike's cheek, Mike doing the same to her in return. Then they both turn slightly and their lips connect in a sweet, soft kiss.

"I love you." El tells Mike.

Mike closes his eyes and rests his head against hers. "I love you, too. So much." He says.

"Good." El tells him, her words full of meaning that only the two of them would truly understand. And everything was exactly as it should be.

Hiya, friend! Will do! :D 8. Is there a story idea in your mental vault that you’ve never been brave enough to try writing? Is this the year? Can you tell us about it? I have a couple of ideas I mentioned for this question here and here. In general, if I can finish Where do we go from here? as a 13-part series, that would be soooo amazing. The fact that I went back into writing with this series was a brave move, because this project has been the biggest one I’ve worked on...ever. I’m super proud how it has been received so far, and writing each one shot has taught me so much. I’m a slow writer, I’m picky with details and I really need to do my research before I’m comfortable with writing what I want to write, so it has been quite a process. I’ve never written a bunch of one shots that support a bigger story arc before, so in a way, the prompts I have left for this series are all things I’ve never written before! There’s so much to explore when it comes to life after Hogwarts, careers, during the war and after the war! Same with different genres and tropes (but of course, flangst or angst are my favs). I have a couple of one shots I have outlined right now for the series, but it’s more about me picking which one to work on next (during the war before the Battle of Hogwarts or post-war, a year after the Battle). The former is Oliver’s PoV and the latter is Percy’s PoV. Maybe I should flip a coin or something if I want to get things moving again! XD 16. Do you have that one fanfic that you wrote a ton for, ages ago, but never posted? Will this be the year, come hell or high water, that it WILL get finished and posted? I do have some old fics I wrote before a took a long hiatus from writing. Lots of WIPs and so many notes! I’m not sure if those will ever get posted, since my writing style has changed, and honestly, I’m not completely in love some of these. Maybe because so much time has passed? I do have wayyy older fics that were posted on LJ back in the day, and I have been considering editing and re-releasing some of these on AO3 though. There are a few Drarry ones I still like, and I love what I had written for Deamus (fun fact: I used to RP once upon a time, and RPing as Seamus helped me figure out how to write for this ship). ANDDDD, I also have 4 WIP Perciver fics I wrote back in 2020 during lockdown when I was still trying to decide if I should start writing again. Obviously, I started posting fic up on AO3, so maybe one or all of these stories will be posted for 2023. I know two of them have a decent amount of words, and if I do have the time to brush the dust off and tighten things up more...well, I best not get ahead of myself yet. If the stars align, then that’s what we’ll go with. Thanks for the ask!

HEAVY SPOILER WARNING FOR LITERALLY THE ENTIRE SHOW I wrote down anytime I had important/sudden thoughts about stuff. Fic Author Self-Recommendations

Tagged by the ever wonderful @starsandskies! Thank you! 🥰 Also reposting bc tunglr ate the tags and didn't seem to alert anyone. 😒

When you get this, reply with your favourite five fics that you’ve written, then pass on to at least five other writers. Let’s spread the self-love.

I don't have that many to choose from, since I have a handful I have more-or-less disavowed bc of that horrible author (yeah, you know who I'm talking about); one of my faves is a DA:I that's soooo close to being done but here we are; another is my corpo!Val fake relationship trope WIP/current obsession; and my other other favorite is the next in the Into My Arms series, which is languishing because of the previously mentioned obsession.

That leaves seven I have on AO3, but one is from the Lizzie's prompt event last year and is mostly drabbles, meaning I have to choose five of my six. But you know, one of the best pieces of writing advice I ever received was "kill your darlings," so here goes, in rough order of my faves.

“I know my rights, officer!” he grumbles, wishing he could kick the back of the pig’s seat but to do that would mean rolling over on his back to get his legs up and risking falling onto the floorboard with the piss and basura. Plus they’ll throw on a resisting charge, and probably assaulting an officer.

“Yeah, you do, because I gave ’em to you before I put you in the back of the car,” the cop says, glancing in the mirror and smirking. “But if you know your rights so well, tell me which one I’m violating.”

Cut Your Hair — Mitch/Val | mature

Today he shows with fifteen minutes on the clock, a cigarette dangling from his flesh fingers as he stands in the shade of the truck and grins up at her.

“Hey, darlin’.”

Stomach flipping, she grins back. “Hey, yourself. Still willing to risk your hair?”

“What’s left of it, you mean?” he asks with a grin, running a hand over his mess of hair and mussing it further.

Triangles — Mitch/Scorpion/Fem V | explicit

“Come on, guys! If I’d known—”

“If you’d known,” V says, mocking her. “You’re ditching us to get dicked down. Drinking with us was always your plan B, wasn’t it.”

“It’s really good dick!” Panam argues.

The two guys share a look and Mitch roars with laughter, and V rolls her eyes. “Whatever, bitch.”

“Call you tomorrow, V? Mitch, Scorpion, tell Saul I said fuck off.”

Because the only thing I love more than writing is talking about writing, here’s some commentary on each of my picks.

No One’s Gonna Love You is my baby. While Goro might have gotten me to pick up my pen first, Mitch is the reason I felt the need to publish something for the first time in decades. It’s full of smut and angst and snappy banter, and I have never been prouder of anything I’ve written.

“Blaze of Glory” is a profoundly personal story. One day while playing through The Star ending for the umpteenth time researching, I tried to scan the panzer and instead scanned Mitch, and the results were deeply upsetting. I had to stop writing No One’s Gonna Love You and grapple with what I now know was randomly generated NCPD records, and I did that by writing this story. You’d think CDPR would be a little more intentional with things like that. Besides the personal nature of the fic, it has two sentences I’d put in my top 10 that I’ve ever written. I’ll let you guess which ones. 😂

“Know Your Rights” was my half of a trade with @steelphoto for this gorgeous drawing. I think I got the better half of the deal, but this story really pushed me to write two characters that I didn’t know that well. I owe so much to Steel for getting me to see past the little CDPR deigned to give us about both River and Jackie to appreciate them fully.

“Cut Your Hair” was supposed to be the first post-NOGLY oneshot but that got sidetracked because, well, things. Despite that, it’s still first in my heart because it’s my babies starting their lives together and learning who they are, both together and apart. (And yeah, that is a nod to Scorpio’s series Romance in the Badlands, which is one of the reasons I started writing again.)

“Triangles” was born out of the Lizzie’s prompt event last year, and it has two big firsts for me as an author: a threesome and M/M smut. (Which, how are six hands more than twice as hard to track as 4? It should only be 50% harder!) I might go back and rewrite it one day because it doesn’t have the polish of my other pieces, plus I still have another chapter to add to it, not to mention two more parts. Fun fact: I established the Mitch/Scorpion/V tag on AO3 with this piece. I also established the Mitch/Scorpion tag, technically with NOGLY but the chapter that first referenced their relationship came out after “Blaze of Glory.” In retrospect, it seems wild that I established both. I’ve never been a trendsetter before!

It’s 1 AM and I just finished Light and Dark. Honestly, I put off for about a year because I didn’t want it to end. Let me tell you something, it was soooo good.

First off, I love her friendship with Em. Secondly, the love interests were well developed. I have a softer spot for Cy than James, which is why chapter 22 hurt… a lot. But it’s okay because I just pretend like it didn’t happen. The epilogue for Cy and the reading was absolutely perfect! I did read James’ AU chapters. Remember how I asked about Sirius seeing James and the reading going at it at the Potter house? Well you told me you had something planned in the future and it DID NOT disappoint! If you ever decide to do something like this for James and Sirius, I’ll be first in line to read.

Honestly, you’re my favorite author on here. I’ve read the Charlie/Oliver and Remus/Rowan/Tristan (love Rowan and Tristen so much btw. What is it with you and OCs that make me fan girl a little too hard?) stories. Sorry I always forget tittles, but I love them too. Thank you so much for the amazing writing! I can’t wait to read more :)

Hello hello! Ah, this is so lovely. I remember receiving some of my first messages from you, close to the start of Light & Dark. Thank you for sticking with it and finishing it. It's truly wonderful to hear that you liked it right up to the end. I honestly had a hard time finishing it because there were so many things I wanted to show, but ultimately, I think it came together okay.

I want to respond to your individual comments, but I also want to avoid potential spoilers and not annoy anyone with a huge (really, huge), rambling block of text, so it'll be under this cut:

First - Emmeline Vance! Yes, I saw Em as this understated, but very confident person, even as just a first-year. And then here you were, this slightly stand-offish, unsure person, with your arms crossed across your chest and a somewhat confused and profoundly displeased expression on your face all the time. You drew together because both of you had this quiet, tough energy. Also, it didn't really show up in this story because Emmeline realized you were struggling during the years the story takes place and was very gentle with you, but I imagined Emmeline as having Sirius-level recklessness and biting sarcasm, except with more of a forward-thinking brain and less of a need for dramatic flair - so truly, a force to behold. An amazing friend - hence, why your and Cyrille's daughter is named after her.

(Also, I mentioned it only a couple times, but in Light & Dark, I thought two of your other friends, Amelia and Hestia, fell in love and dated at Hogwarts. The same night you reunited with Cyrille on the Astronomy Tower, Amelia and Hestia played some drinking-and-kissing game in the Hufflepuff common room (where you were supposed to be) and realized they were just as compatible as lovers as they were friends.)

Second - Yeah, Chapter 22 was... I put a warning up because I didn't want anyone to have any bad feelings while reading the story. However, I think sometimes we fantasize about 'bad-boy-or-girl/dominant/experienced' tropes (which, why not?) without acknowledging the flip side of that. Physically, having a sexually experienced partner means just that - if this is a new relationship and that person is already sexually experienced, then they obviously had those experiences at some point with someone else.

With Cyrille Lestrange, it's especially dark. Cyrille's ability to dominate you and his incredibly mesmerizing aura, which you might find as attractive features, came from his 'training' to seduce someone whilst maintaining total control over the situation, ultimately to persuade that person to give whatever is needed. Fortunately, with you/Reader, Cyrille is slowly able to let go of that aspect (which is why in Part 19, he confesses to you that he doesn't know how to be intimate without putting on a mask, and why Cyrille always affectionately thinks of you as his true dominant, since with you, he finally feels free and light-hearted and gets to be emotionally vulnerable with you when the two of you are together.)

It's not just Cyrille. I almost always think there is a flip side. For example, in my head, Remus Lupin's gentle and humble traits might draw you in, but they arise partly from his lack of self-esteem, which might play a key factor in pushing you away. Sirius Black's roguish charm and confidence might attract you to him, but they come partly from his independent upbringing (not having anyone to care for him), so those aspects will likely go hand-in-hand with his shutting you out and with his more reckless behavior.

Also, Chapter 22 is a slight reminder that we see the story from your/Reader's perspective. Part of the later chapters (hopefully) contain these flashes of realization where you suddenly comprehend what other characters were thinking at a prior point in time. For example, the James A/U is meant to highlight what he was personally struggling with back when the two of you first broke up (i.e. the significance of 'choice' over instinct). And Chapter 22 shows flashes of what Cyrille had to endure to, as he believes, 'save the people around him.' It is also a very, very slight parallel to what Cyrille may have felt when, after you lost your memory, you started to date James. Obviously, there are huge differences - for one, you didn't know about your link to Cyrille and you were genuinely happy with James and your actions had no consequences beyond Cyrille's suffering; whereas Cyrille is obviously thinking about you and is totally miserable and is enabling this terrible regime of Voldemort. But for me, the point was not to take character traits and perspectives for granted. I always meant to include Chapter 22 in the story, but at the end of the day, it is upsetting and disgusting. I hope it didn't upset you too much!

Also, I shouldn't say this, but I love that you had a softer spot for Cyrille. I can imagine him somewhere out there, smirking and softly stroking your hair, so utterly pleased that he's definitely won his Angel back over from that 'uncivilized, messy-haired, stupidly-proud-Gryffindor, can't-control-his-own-damn-mouth-long-enough-to-say-hello, how-dare-he-look-at-another-girl-when-he-has-you, never-deserved-you-anyways prick.'

Third - the Sirius and James chapter! I had that saved for ages. It never fit into the original story (because I felt like it was too much insecurity and drama when combined with the main issue of Lily-James-you), and I was so excited to finally share it with everybody. I have lots of ideas about Sirius, as well as about all of the inter-Marauders dynamics. I hope I'll eventually get to share them here.

Fourth - Rowan Scamander and Tristan Graves. Ah, thank you for saying this! I get so nervous with featuring OCs. I see their personalities and histories so clearly in my mind, but I never know if it comes through correctly in the actual story. I don't want to say too much on these characters because Foxtail & Wolfsbane is still in-progress and they both continue to be involved in the story, but my initial conception of each of them was something like the following:

Rowan is the Golden Child, and he initially takes to this position very easily - not only smart, but witty; not only popular, but kind. However, the older he grows, the more his parents' fame and his bright aura wear on him as everyone's expectations of who he should be start to suffocate him. Because, the truth is that while Rowan inherited many qualities from his parents, he doesn't naturally have either of his parent's gentleness, which is part of what they're famous for. He doesn't have his father's awkwardness or love of creatures or his mother's understanding nature and sense of deep duty. Instead, he has his own sense of adventure and intense personality. But whenever he acts like himself and lets his ambitions show, he seems to disappoint people. So, not only is he expected to be perfect, but he's expected to perform perfectly as though it was nothing, and to follow his parents' footsteps and even have their personalities as though it all comes naturally to him. Thus, he stays this beautiful, bright, charismatic young man, but a certain edge starts to grow in his fierce soul as he realizes that fame is a cage and the only reward is power, but never peace.

Tristan is, in some ways, Rowan's reverse. He initially comes off far too authoritative and independent (seemingly ordering people around without listening to their views) and basically like some arrogant prodigy who only ever has master-servant relationships (e.g., having Susana as a 'maid' or telling Cas that she can't love him or keeping you prisoner in the United States). Then, you learn about his past - how he was caught between his parents, the Obscurial, and an entire team of Aurors, and how he only survived because both of his parents died for him. But just when you are about to garner some sympathy for him, instead of being grateful, Tristan blatantly shows that he hates any comparison to his father and swears that unlike his father, he won't die for just one lame, undeserving person, which is a shocking way to talk about a parent who loved you and died to protect you.

Only then, it all starts to unravel: Tristan only kept you with him in the United States to figure out if you were telling the truth about the Nine-Tailed Fox and that you weren't alleged with Voldemort and to keep you safe from all of the Aurors who wanted to kill you because they thought you were an Obscurial. He willingly let you go once he knew you were telling the truth and that you could take care of yourself. Tristan saved Susana from being sentenced to death merely because she was Grindelwald's secret daughter and he uses his knowledge of ancient metal magic to curb her power at her request, because Susana inherited Grindelwald's dark and destructive bent in magic. Tristan only told Cas not to love him because he knew he had the shard of Obscurial locked away in his soul and as his depression grew, he felt it growing stronger in his soul, and he was afraid to hurt Cas. (There was a storyline I originally sketched out where Tristan had a prior childhood crush, Mary Jauncey, whom he hurt badly and ultimately lost when Tristan first discovered the Obscurial had gone into his body by the Obscurial bursting out of him when he got angry, but I took it out. The importance of that was that it became a deep trauma for Tristan, in addition to his parents' death. There are hints of the loss of Mary Jauncey in the first few chapters where Tristan appears; that's what the passages of Hades and Persephone were about - Tristan is Hades, Mary is Persephone, only in the real world, they can never reach each other. Even magic cannot bring myth to life; only myth is myth. The Nine-Tailed Fox, as a mythical creature herself, senses this desire and pain in Tristan.) Tristan also believed that Cas was MCUSA's greatest asset, and when he overheard other Aurors talking behind her back and saying that she only ranked high because of her relationship with him, he became furious and tried to put some distance between the two of them, at least until she established herself among the Aurors, which Tristan knew would not take long. The sum of this is supposed to be confusing - Tristan says he doesn't want to be like his father, that he would never sacrifice himself for a single individual and yet he has, time and time again - for Susana, for Cas, for you - and then, finally, you learn that when Tristan talks about that lame, undeserving person, he meant himself, as a little kid whose parents sacrificed themselves for him. Tristan believes that no matter how many people he helps, it could never amount to the potential his parents had for helping people, and for that reason, he wishes that he had died instead and that his parents could be alive in his stead. When the Nine-Tailed Fox helps him to find forgiveness in himself (through you), that wound in his soul becomes healed enough that the Obscurial is forced out of him. That's his arc up until now (Part 26).

Finally, and most importantly - Thank you very much for leaving such sweet messages and giving my stories all this attention and love. ♥ I hope this wasn't too long; I just want to make sure I'm reciprocating your good energy. Cheers!

Theory of Love

Film student Third (Gun) has been secretly in love with his best friend Khai (Off) for three years, but Khai is straight, a massive player, and a total arsehole if we’re being honest. This starts painful, but then they start playing around with tropes and expectations and then it changes POV which just HITS so hard and completely changes your whole perception. You know the movie Flipped? It references that, and then does the flip - so good.

Knowing the level of pining, pain and angst that you love (plus your background in film studies) I feel like this is required viewing. Get out the tissues. But also, it’s still really funny and cute/dumb (cause gmmtv) and the production was excellent. Also, Off/Gun are PEAK natural chemistry and Gun is such an incredible actor that watching him cry or yell at someone is still preferable to other actors being happy.

He’s Coming To Me

Precious baby boi Singto plays Med, a ghost, who is is stuck in limbo for 20 years - until he meets a boy who can see him, Thun (my baby boi Ohm) who promises to help him figure out his unfinished business and cross over. And then they were roommates! And then they start falling in love and it’s ANGSTY because they know Med will have to leave one day. Ouch, my heart.

You will enjoy the mixture of domestic fluff and tragic angst in this. But don’t worry it has a happy ending (kind of, I think, from memory haha). Also, you will enjoy the fact that they can’t touch (cause, ghost) which is *chefs kiss* except for moments of heightened emotions when Thun’s powers become strong enough that he can touch Med (FUCK YES, THIS TROPE IS EVERYTHING)

ANNGST. RE.IN.CAR.NA.TION. ANGST. What else do you need to know?!?! Reincarnated soulmates trope?!!? HELLO!?!? It’s so beautiful. I’m still not over it. And yes it has a happy ending, it starts super sad, then ends up super fluffy and the romantic fluffy moments oh god it’s so romantic. I know you love like soft domestic food sharing etc - this show is ALL about the cooking.

The casting, the characterisation, the acting, the story, the music, even the friendship group and the side-couple, it’s perfection *chefs kiss* PERFECTION

A Tale of A Thousand Stars

After the lovely volunteer teacher Torfun dies (RIP poor torfun) in a tragic accident, her heart is transplanted into selfish pretty rich boy Tian (played by the beautiful Mix). After learning of her selfless character, he feels guilt and shame for living (the angst is very real) and makes it his mission to complete her life’s wishes and follow in her footsteps.

As the new village volunteer teacher, he then falls in love with the very handsome and very shirtless chief Phupha (Earth), who lives to protect the trees, we stan an environmental man. Angst, fluff, complications, and many miscommunications ensue. I was tearing my hair out by the end of this show. Yes, it has a happy ending (eventually). Earth x Mix was a pairing we did not know we even wanted or needed until this show happened and now I cry every time I see a picture of them together. Every single time Phupha looks at Tian in this show I literally tear up. HE LOVES HIM SO MUUUUUCHHH *crying again*

I Told Sunset About You

Childhood best-friends, turned enemies (for stupid kid reasons), to lovers. This is ANGSTY but so fucking beautiful it’s ridiculous. I wouldn’t even class this as “BL” because it doesn’t have any of the standard tropes, and there’s no silly sound-effects or innuendo jokes. This is like genuine lgbt+ indie-film realness. You can honestly just watch it for the cinematography and the music. The AESTHETIC of this show is what truly makes it special. The symbolism, the colours, this show said CINEMA. And the sexual tension is absolutely WILD. You will live for the angst (with a happy ending). And no, do not bother watching season 2, it’s perfect as a stand-alone mini-series. (I’m still upset).

Where Your Eyes Linger

Korea has gotten on the BL train, and has now made a whole bunch of viki mini-series that are all cute but this one is right up your alley. This is VERY merthur. It’s literally servant/master, bodyguard/prince trope. But, I thought the characterisation was nicely thought out and wasn’t what I was expecting. The tension is palpable, the angst is juicy, and the soft kdrama vibes are cheesy and wonderful. Angst with a happy ending (of course).

HIStory 3: Trapped

So the Taiwanese HIStory series has been around forever, and I love the whole series (History 2: Crossing The Line is my all time fav). But for youuuu, I think the most appropriate is Trapped. Police detective single-mindedly obsessed with a gang leader? Yes please. But whatever power-dynamic expectations you would have of a police/criminal couple are twisted and warped immediately! This series is so endearing, it’s mostly comedy/action, and whilst it has plenty of angst, mostly it’s just CUTE as fuck. Also the side couple are adorable too!

The whole History series is on Viki now yay!

The Untamed

Look, I KNOW 50 episodes of plot-heavy chinese historical fantasy is a lot. But there’s a reason this show was soooo popular. It only took me like 3 attempts and a whole ass “guide” pdf to figure out what the fuck was happening in the first ep cause its non-linear. But, if you are in the right mood (ie; sick, or in lockdown) and need something to get completely LOST in for like a week, then watch this haha. I know you couldn’t make it through Guardian, but maybe this one will hit the spot.

This has all the angsty character tropes you live for. And cause it’s censored, there’s no actual romance, so instead it’s just the best kind of UST, character driven, emotional soulmate angst. To summarise: Wei Wuxian is; adopted, a trouble-maker, impetuous, head-strong, fun-loving, has a martyr complex and wants to save everyone. Meanwhile, Lan Zhan is; lawful good to a fault, stoic, shy, and has a martyr complex about saving Wei Wuxian and Wei Wuxian ONLY. Now throw them into the middle of supernatural / political turmoil and see what happens. Well I’ll tell you what happens, Wei Wuxian becomes the “villain”, gets killed, and Lan Zhan spends 16 years looking for him. FUCKING KILL ME OKAY. (No, that’s not a spoiler it happens in the first episode haha)

Could I please have Izuku Midoriya, age 22, and (only if you're comfortable with it) yandere? If you're not comfortable with yandere then I love the "there was only one bed" trope with a dash of friends to lovers?

Hi bby. I haven’t written yandere so I didn’t want to fuck it up soooo...

“Uh...y/n...so the hotel messed up our reservation and uh...there's only one bed.” Izuku said nervously. You looked at the green haired hero confused by his stammering. It's not like you two haven’t shared a bed before. You two had been friends since you were little and there were many naps spent together where you would wake up snuggled together.

“Zuku, it's okay. I promise.” You said, giving him a little giggle. Izuku’s cheeks dusted a light pink under his freckles. He had always been cute to you of course, but lately you found yourself staring at him just a little longer than normal. Sometimes you would even feel your heart flutter when watching him doing his everyday tasks. Of course that was normal for friends right?

Izuku pulled you from your thoughts by throwing his bag in the corner and getting out his pajamas. He walked into the bathroom with his toiletries while you sat in the office chair in the room and scrolled through your phone. You kept coming across photos in your phone that you and Izuku had taken together making you smile.

You and Izuku had always been comfortable together, clinging to each other in some of your lowest moments so naturally your happy moments were shared together too.

Izuku came out of the bathroom and your breath hitched. He was dressed in a pair of black sweats without a shirt. His hair was messy with curls falling around his face. His scars were prominent as well as a dusting of freckles across his shoulders. Had he always been this handsome? Had he always been this...buff?

You found yourself drifting off into thoughts of his arms wrapped around you. What it would feel like to sink your fingers into his shoulder blades. You continued to stare at Izuku like he was a God, making him blush again.

“Uh...Y/N, we probably should go to sleep soon. The conference starts early in the morning…”Izuku stated, snapping you back to reality. You giggled a little and began to look through your bag for your pajamas.

“Fuck.” You stated, realizing that you had forgotten sleep clothes. Izuku could sense your distress and handed you a shirt of his. Your fingers brushed in the exchange making goosebumps rise to your arms. You smiled at Izuku and made your way into the bathroom.

You slipped the soft fabric of Izuku’s vintage AllMight t-shirt over your shoulders, breathing in the light scent of his laundry detergent and the faint scent of his cologne. You walked out of the bathroom sporting his shirt and your boyshorts underwear. Now it was Izuku’s turn to become flustered.

You slipped into bed and turned off the lamp turning away from Izuku who was scrolling on his phone. After a few minutes Izuku turned off the lamp on his side. In the dark you heard Izuku whisper goodnight.

Things were going great until you realized there was no way in hell that you were going to sleep. You silently hoped that Izuku was still awake. “Zuku…” you said quietly. Izuku turned to face you. You smiled and flipped over so that you were nose to nose.

You both began to chat about life. Before you knew it, it was after one in the morning and you were still nowhere near tired. “Izuku, have you ever thought about what it would be like to date me?” you spouted randomly allowing yourself to ask your burning question. Izuku turned red and began to stammer.

“Izuku it’s fine. That was a dumb question. I’m going to roll over I think,” you said and turned so that your back was facing him. A few moments later you heard him call your name. You rolled back over to face him. “What is it Zuku?” you asked curious as to what he was thinking.

“Well,” izuku began “you never let me tell you how I felt. To be honest, I’ve thought about it alot. You are an amazing person and honestly I would be lucky to even have a shot with you. I know that I don't, but you know I think about it alot…” Izuku began, mumbling toward the end like he always seemed to. You smiled softly and looked into his eyes.

He reached a trembling hand up to push a piece of hair behind your ear making you have goosebumps again. You leaned in and pressed a sweet kiss to Izuku’s lips. He was utterly stunned, but more than anything he felt whole.

“Y/N...I think I’m in love with you…” Izuku said with the sweetest, dopiest grin you had ever seen. Your chest tightened at his confession making all of your feelings bubble to the surface. As much as you had tried to pretend you weren’t in love, you knew you were.

“Zuku, I love you too.” You said reaching over to grab one of his large hands and press kisses to the scars that littered his skin. You loved everything about this man and lying to yourself would do no good.

“Y/N can I kiss you again?” Izuku asked, making the butterflies in your tummy go crazy. You shook your head and allowed him to place the sweetest, softest kiss to your lips.

Maybe sharing a bed wouldn’t be so bad afterall.
