One thing I'll always appreciate about ORV is how it deals with the concept of "Fate." Because I've always thought of it that way - fate in a lot of its depictions often come as something imposed on characters, it's bound to happen and the main problem is how they can avoid that fate but strangely, not a lot of focus is given on how it becomes bound to happen. A lot of times, it's simply written as bound to happen because fate was imposed like an order on the characters but I find it a lot more compelling when fate is bound to happen because of the characters, their beliefs, and how they act. ORV, as amazingly written as it is, manages to do both of these things.

Fate is imposed on Kim Dokja because of the big data Olympus has pointing to that conclusion. Sure, the probability of Olympus is used to force that conclusion but ultimately, it's based on the characters and what they are bound to do because of the way they are. The Fate given by Olympus can't be something that's improbable. They couldn't just force fate on anything they wanted to happen.

And it just seems so much more unavoidable that way - it isn't just something being forced on the characters, it's the characters digging their own graves where the soil is already loose.

My grandma asked me to draw fanart of Teacher and Shiva from "The Girl from the Other Side" manga. She saw me watching the OVA movie and said "Aww what a cute little girl!" so we watched together and she loved it and wanted fanart, so here it is!

I really loved the manga and beautiful relationships between these two, but the ending honestly SUCKS DONKEY BALLS. It had the same feeling as the ending of Game of Thrones to me, it left me completely empty and I felt like I wasted time on this story for no reason. At least, the anime version had a better ending. And the animation was stunning!

Teacher and Shiva are still very dear characters to me and I still adore the relationship they had up until the last volume. I hope we get a full length anime series with them, just with a different ending lmao.

The art was made with pastels, charcoal and colored chalks on paper.

I'm trying to catch up with BSD s5 now that I have time and I'm less than 2 minutes into ep 2 and already I'm going insane and shaking someone's metaphorical shoulders because, because -

"I trusted my soul."

"Actually, I had no way of knowing if they'd believe me."

That's how a story WORKS. The story only has power over you so far as you give it power over you. And if you are a reader or the author of a story, you have that choice to break free from the narrative that's entrapping you. It's like when we get so invested in a piece of fiction and it starts taking over our lives and we have to take a step back and go, right...this is fiction. I know what reality is because I am an individual soul, not a narrative's character and plaything and this story only have power over me as much as I give it power. The characters in BSD might be the characters of the BSD narrative, but they are not the characters of the Book. They are people. Unpredictable, beautiful people that even Ranpo - who CAN predict everything that follows the pattern of a story - cannot fully predict. Because you cannot predict a person's actions or thoughts or future, you can only trust in them

How would you react after seeing a long-lost friend...?

Phew…. And here it is! See? I told you I was working on something more finished. This lovely scene (which I will say absolutely nothing about) is directly from Days of Laughs and Nights of Screams by the wonderful @justaduckarts

I needed to make the scene slightly darker because of the two nighttime animatronics, however, I was worried that it was getting too dark so I made the executive decision to lighten some areas up. The designs for Phantom Bonnie and Moon are all based off the story but with my own style sprinkled into the design.

I wanna talk more about it, but I cannot do this scene justice. This is literally one of my favorite parts of the story and it got me hard. Oh my gosh… just go read the story, trust me. I need to go reread it again, it’s so good!

Colin Jeavons delivered THAT line incredibly as well. They're so great in that episode! Murder, you say? uuuh, so good interesting. Mr Harker tells his story, a guy was murdered on his doorstep. AS IT HAPPENS, YOU KNOW!

Ah, guy had a photo in his pocket, uh? Ah, yeah, another VEEEERY flattering description by Watson. And NEW ANIMAL COMPARISON! Two in two stories, incredible!

"Echoes" is the band best song at the moment and the only one that makes mention to seven's departure and the hurt that came with it. Gia refuses to sing about it, about the break up, about her relatiomship with seven, about how she fell in love with her and still is

Personality: there are big diferentes between Maze and Gia. In stage Maze bask in the atention, she is the personification of confidence. She's funny, witty and even flirty but on top of that, she is nice. Probably that kindness is the nexus between Gia and Maze.

Gia is a bit like Clark Kent, when she leaves the satge and put on her glasses that halo of attacttion dissipate, and she loves it. Loves being more unknown than Maze, loves her baggy jeans and her oversized hoodie. Loves walking around being a nobody.

Her life would be so much easier being a nobody but she was born to make music, it's her dream and she has already lost to much to give it up, so she'll have to come to terms with her life being public.
