Finally made a little reference sheet for Pierre!

He's a young fae boy born years earlier than Jeanne, knowing her basically his entire life as Jeanne's family lived closer to them. Despite the clear age gap (considering that Pierre is a fae and Jeanne is just a half fae, meaning she has a normal human lifespan), Pierre was always eager to play with Jeanne and her younger sister, teasing and annoying them (unintentionally) almost daily; he's also considerably immature despite his many years of life, often spoiled by his parents and getting away with his lack of responsibility and social cues. He's very talented at sports, being in RSA's Spelldrive team, but is easily bored and doesn't care about learning other topics as "my family is wealthy anyway, why the heck would I need to learn all that?"

More info might be added/changed in the future, tho he is more a plot device than an actual character that I focus on!

Relationship dynamics:

Jeanne Hook: Jeanne is to Pierre what Captain Hook is to Peter Pan, a rival. He's always thought Jeanne as someone interesting, and because she has a normal human lifespan Pierre always thought it was fun and intriguing to see how humans or half fae grow, going as far as to visit Jeanne everyday to play with her and invent new games; at first I assume Jeanne kinda liked having him around, but as time went and her parents started shoving the responsibility of taking care of her sibling and having to dedicate her life to assume her parents' place as the heir of their business onto her, Jeanne started feeling annoyed at Pierre. He was always complimented by her parents while she was always put down for not being nearly as talented, that plus the fact that he could act as immature as he wanted and have as much fun as he wanted while she was forced to be an adult at the age of 12 made her jealous and angry. Pierre is also the reason she lost her left hand.

Isabelle Desrosiers: Pierre is infatuated with Isabelle, but his advances are always turned down and are unwanted, Neige often tells him to drop it, especially because Isabelle is already arranged to marry someone else. His crush on her is just because of her beautiful appearance, and because her interests in everything that bores him intrigues him. Isa tolerates him but puts her foot down when needed.

Neige LeBlanche: Neige and him don't get along very well. Neige tries to be nice and kind to him, but he gets a bit annoyed at how be acts around Isa since they're great friends. Pierre thinks he's too good for his own good, wanting him to let loose a little.

Chenya: Pierre and Chenya get along quite well, as they're both chaotic in nature and feed off of teasing and annoying others. I assume Chenya helps Pierre understand his limits as time goes on and helps him with understanding other people better and respecting them.

another thing that i find endearing with blue lockers' relationship with isagi is that they're always willing to give tips and helpful advices to isagi for his improvement even tho they also see him as their rival, and i think that's because isagi is not afraid to be "the weaker person". when he sees someone getting better than him, instead of feeling pessimistic or jealous like most people, he'd feel admiration towards the "better person" and the desire to study that person for his improvement. the other characters see and feel isagi's expectations and belief towards them and can't help but want to root for isagi too :'> (blue lockers also hate it when outsiders badmouth isagi because they're the only ones who can do that lmfao) (jk it's actually because they decided to believe in isagi and they don't like other players doubting who they decided to believe in)

in terms of what? like yandere or his story?

well, my original plan was that Victor's revenge would be the sequel to Quarter Quell once JK won it and he'd join the other victors. However, I used Taehyung in QQ so it wouldn't make sense if he was also in VR lol. Ofc, i can prob do a rewrite and just replace taehyung in QQ, but idk.

either way, here are some random headcanons for how I picture jk as a Victor

thinks some of the other victors only won on a technicality and doesn't mind making passive-aggressive comments about it

does NOT like being associated with Jin or Jimin's weak asses, thinks they're sneaky little shits who had to rely on tricks bc they would lose in a physical fight

he's very popular as a victor. tbh i think he's the only one who rivals jimin's popularity. the capitol love how bloodthirsty he is. while jimin mainly has female fans, jungkook has a good mix of both since men want to be like JK, and obvi women find him hot

I think he'd do a lot of tv shows and interviews. he knows people value his input for games so I can see him offering his insight on current tributes. remember the scoring system for how tributes would get rated? i can see him being asked to be on the team that assess those.

as a mentor, I think he'd be the type to pick a favorite and only really focus on that kid. he doesn't care if it's heartless, he's not wasting his time on a lost cause just to make them feel better.

I can see him looking at the other kid like "you might as well live it up while you can, you probably aren't gonna make it past the bloodbath."

if by some miracle that kid did survive and win, JK would be like ".....damn, guess I owe you a drink. my bad. welcome to victor's row tho :)"

as a mentor, he will tell his kids to just stick to the career alliance. if for some reason a kid from 2 wanted to align themselves with someone whose not a career, JK would just be like "ur on your own w that" bc ain't no way he's gonna attempt to talk to non career victors who prob hate him

I think he's another victor who splits his time pretty evenly between the capitol and his home district.

does not have to sell his body or anything because he is a capitol fav, but I do think he'll make shitty comments towards jimin

The sun was shining bright, there was a faint breeze in the air and the streets were bustling. It was the perfect day to grab a bite with a friend. And that was just the plan for today.

You invited Luke to hang out after working out together and he was overjoyed, accepted immediately. He likes you a lot as student, you're always eager to learn and you don't back down from a challenge, besides, you're really good company and friend. Luke likes playing video games a good deal and so do you, so every now and then you visit an arcade together or just play something online.

It's nice! Him and Bosch were your first friends when you first moved here and naturally, you cherish them a lot.

You walked through the park at first, it's a nice place nearby the academy and made way to the main streets.

Luke wanted pizza. Again.

"Luke please I'm gonna be sick of pizza at this rate." You huff at him and he just shrugs his shoulders at you.

"Getting sick of perfection? Couldn't be me-"

"You've eaten pizza the last time. And the time before that. And the one before too."

"Ok fine, what do you want instead? Burger?"

You can't help but laugh, how does this guy keep his physique when all he eats is junk.

"I don't know? Maybe we can grab some street food instead? The weather's nice and all!"

"Sweet! Sure, there's the pizza stall-"

You punch his shoulder in jest.

"I'm kidding, I'm kidding!"

You both joke around and end up settling on going to Chinatown, there's a new joint you wanted to try for a little while now and you were craving some ramen and soup truth be told.

Luke's stomach is growling and he starts mumbling about how he's gonna need to order the entire menu.

You suggest to take a starter to eat on the spot while you wait for the takeout order to be finished.

It's been a godawful day. His eyeliner isn't perfectly even. Just as he went out a bus splashed mud all over his pants. Then he got harrassed in the subway when all he wanted was to mind his business. Ugh.. he's sick and tired of the good-for-nothing brutes that keep taking over the city. It's even worse when the weather is good. The streets become packed. People bump into him. Thugs will try picking on him simply for being a "pretty boy".

And then there's the issue at hand, he wanted to grab some lunch and every damned place is full, bursting at the seams.

Jamie feels like he can't catch a break.

He decides to just call it a day. He'll just cook himself something much better anyway. "If these losers want to waste upwards to an hour in a queue they can take the L." He thinks to himself.

He's not aware that his day is about to become even worse.

He stops in his tracks just as he cuts the corner to go in his apartment.

"Luke?! What the hell is this douchebag doing here?" He stares for a bit and as Luke moves he notices someone covered by his wide silhouette. "...No way."

His thoughts are racing. "Now why, *today* of all days, is this joke of a man here and with *my* girl? What does he think he's doing? In *my* turf of all places."

He observes with a vein nearly popping at his temple as Luke extends a spring roll to your mouth and you happily take it. His blood boils as he sees you being all buddy-buddy with his rival. Trading smiles. Laughing at his lame jokes. The idiot even has the audacity of touching your face to wipe away a bit of food? How fucking dare he? How fucking dare he put his hands on you?

Jamie's fuming, any more anger bubbling in him and smoke would be coming out of his nose.

He spots the vendor calling them over to hand them take out boxes and bags. Huh? They're not gonna finish eating here? What? Is he intending on stealing his girlfriend away? Take her home? Nah, he ain't letting this slide.

He pulls and rolls up the sleeves of his yellow jacket and starts walking towards you and Luke. Head low, glaring through his brows and teeth bared.

"Oh Jamie hi!" You notice your boyfriend approach and wave, you didn't expect to run into him but you're always happy to see him.

"Jamie? Is everything ok?" You find his lack of response odd.

"Huh?" Luke turns around, spring roll still halfway in his mouth.

Expressing his initial confusion was all he had time to do before the long haired man pulled his arm back and swung at him. Fist landing right on his face, sending him backwards a few steps and making him spit the food out.

"WHAT THE FUCK WAS THAT FOR BRO?" Luke doesn't understand what prompted him to this.

"Don't even start with the "bro's", I'm ain't no bro of yours." He spits at the ground directly in front of the blond. He's ready to throw hands.

"Jamie?!" You're caught completely off guard, why the hell did he do that? You rush to your friend, "Luke are you okay?"

He pushes you away lightly. "You might want to step aside. I'll deal with this."

People starts gathering around curious.

"Oh yeah? Why is that? Got tired of her boyfriend? Was I not enough?" Jamie snarls, "Or are you just trying to steal her away from me Mr. Perfect?!"

They push each other back in turns.

"What?!" You're incredulous, but... Kind of entertained at the same time?

"Is your girlfriend not allowed to have friends now?" Luke retorts.

"Not with dipshits like you, you fuckin' meathead loser."

"Oh I'm the meathead?! I didn't walk in here swinging. Peacekeeper my ass, that's the damn opposite you-"

"Watch your fucking mouth army boy."

"Or what?"

Their foreheads are almost pressing at each other and you decide to intervene before they both go fully at it and thrash the street.

"Both of you knock it off! What the hell is going on?" You slide in the middle and push your boyfriend away. "Back off Jamie, what is this all about?! You too Luke, back off!" They hardly move.

Luke tries to put his hand on your shoulder to get you to get away and Jamie slaps it off.

"Touch my girl one more time and you're eating concrete."

"Jamie! Luke is my friend, he's not doing anything wrong-"

"Oh is that so? Sharing food while giggling to each other? Right in front of where I live?"

"...we were just grabbing some food? Like...how friends do?" You can't believe you need to explain how friendships work to your partner. Is he really that jealous? Or is it just because it's Luke?

You heard that they don't get along before but this is a whole other level.

"Touching your mouth?"

"For fuck's sake this is ridiculous-" You can hardly believe this.

"Don't worry, that's what he does best, being ridiculou-" Luke can't even finish what he's saying before another punch comes flying in his direction.

He straightens up and launches himself at Jamie.

You quickly step away, trying to avoid being hit on accident.

Luke isn't holding back. He's holding Jamie by the jacket's collar and punching freely until Jamie manages to stick his foot on the other's abdomen and kick him off.

"If you both don't knock that off right now I'm going home."

They ignore you, more focused on fighting than on you.

"Fine. Have fun, get a room while you're at it." You walk off, huffing. "What the hell is their deal..." You mutter to yourself as you walk home alone.

A few hours have passed when you get a text from your dear coach.

"Hey, sorry about today, I'll pay lunch next time. Hope you're not mad at me."

You're not mad at him, I mean, he didn't really do anything wrong, he just refused to take shit.

There's a knock at the door.

"Babe, are you home? I'm sorry!" Jamie is yelling from outside.

You take a deep breath and go to open it.

Yikes... he looks like roadkill.

You keep your head low and you let him walk in.

"...I'm sorry about today." He takes his hands from behind his back and pulls out a small bouquet of flowers. "I know it doesn't make it right but..." He hands them over to you.

"Jamie... What was all that for?" You accept the flowers and you take a hand to his face, his lip is busted and eye swollen, it looks like it hurts.

"I just... I just thought that you two were being too close and that...you know."

"Luke and I are friends, I know him for longer than I know you, if I wanted to be with him like that I would have done it before. You can trust me."

He clearly feels stupid. He knows his actions were irrational and brash. Amplified by the bad day he had of course, but it doesn't excuse it.

"I know I can trust you... I'm sorry."

You crack a smile and laugh.

"W-why are you laughing..?"

"It's kinda cute-“

"What is-?"

"That you're soooo insanely jealous."

"Lies. The great Jamie Siu doesn't get jealous of anyone." He's struggling not to laugh himself, fully aware of how silly he sounds.

You hold his hands and kiss his cheek.

"I'll forgive you..."

His eyes light up.

"... If..."

"If?"

You smirk at him.

"You also apologize to Luke. I think he deserves flowers too."

He shakes his head laughing and clicks his tongue, "Tsk, I'm not giving that guy any flowers."

You raise your brow at him.

"Okay fine! Flowers for the scoutboy it is, ugh..."

THINGS I NOTICED ABOUT 2012 APRIL

[In season 1]

Almost always tends to make the first move in combat, surprisingly aggressive and impulsive. In fact, she sucks at defense in her fight with Karai and doesn't block a single attack.

Is REALLY oblivious to Donnies interest in her- doesn't notice him staring, is often otherwise occupied and brushes him off, she occasionally gives him questioning glances tho

First glimpse of her powers is in the episode with Rockwell as she has a better connection with him as another empath and she figures out he's human. (The description given in that episode about the powers they were hoping the mutagen could give them also describes April's powers in general)

She tends to understate things a lot. "Donnie got beat up by a monkey" (mutant.) "I'm being stalked by a giant pigeon" (mutant) "attacked by an old lady" (the most powerful kraang bot they'd seen by this point. )

There's lots of moments mentioned but not seen of April helping Donnie in the lab.

Biology seems to he her best or favourite subject. It is the one she mentions the most and is seen doing the most. She almost always has her biology textbook with her

She's failing trig

I think this is just lazy animation but she doesn't react as much when not the direct focus of a conversation (compared to the turtles) making her look like she's zoned out

Whenever she's upset she puts her arms around her torso like she's hugging herself. If she's sitting she pulls her legs up to her chest and rests her head on her knees.

Is most physically effectionate when excited, grabs onto the turtles shoulders without thinking. Hugs them (i think only donnie actually) more out of impulse than anything else. Can get very in their personal space when excited about something they're saying too

Whenever she's going undercover and pretending to be a delivery person or cop she puts on a deep voice

She does improve and has her moments in general but she's often a terrible liar. She stutters and looks around awkwardly

She also over acts and struggles to act natural on command ("Well I sure hope no pigeon sneaks up on me!")

Spends enough time one on one with Splinter to rival Leo. This is seen in their individual training sessions they do when the turtles are on missions as well as being implied as something they frequently do off screen.

In her student ID her picture shows her with braces and glasses.

This one's obvious but she's closest with Donnie. He's the only one we see her hug in this season, the only one she's implied to hang out with off screen and the one she always calls in an emergency.

He's also the first one she really smiles at and trusts in the first couple episodes.

Despite not saying she wants to be a journalist like some other versions, she definitely still has some of those skills. She is brilliant as finding articles and information on Kraang sightings online, is capable of getting information out of random civilians, has a recording device attached to an app on her phone which she sneaks into the purple dragons base and she manages to find the TCRI blueprints.

There's one scene when she's training with Splinter that she focuses too hard on the specific motions and shuts her eyes rather than watch him

Thought it was funny that Splinter eventually gave April a throwing weapon given she accidentally threw two of the previous weapons she tried

She can seemingly follow along with at least some of donnies scientific rambles, especially compared to the others

She has 1,178 unread emails, one of which is in urgent

Hello! Firstly I wanted to say that I'm an old fan since your overwatch days and I've always admired how much depth you're giving all the characters and relationships you touch! I'm talking like, mariana trench DEPTHS. And how confident you seem about just doing the things you enjoy and exploring the themes you want? I really respect that.

I'm having a bit of an art crisis recently and I was wondering If you could offer some advice?

I'm thinking about self-indulgence in art, particularly fanart. I like to dive in deep to expand on characters, I find it as enjoyable as creating my own work. But I fear of people getting angry at me for latching onto these characters, thay they'll say the original work wasn't THAT deep, or that I'm completely wrong or cringe or whatever. And I don't care about being right or anything, I just want to have fun here and tell my little stories? :( The fear is making me keep the work to myself and I don't know what to do. Would it be better to just enjoy it on my own?

Your blog really is goals when it comes to that, so I'll respect your opinion a lot. Thank you for your time!

If someone cares about you fixating on your fave characters, then they're usually the fucking weirdos in this situation if they dont just block you and move on. I LOVE making shit up about my faves like i have a modern au hc that kakashi and gai are ddr competition rivals and i gave yeehan 7 dogs just for funsies!! we were in the trenches in early overwatch making up our own lore bc there was none and it was so fun

I've always been like that now that i look back bc when i first started uploading my shitty ms paint fanart on deviant art in like 2006(naruto funnily enough we've come full circle) i was still drawing cringey shit /I/ wanted to see. I don't agree with almost all of it today, but i remember the fun i had while making it, and that's really the trick. Drawing what you personally want to see then people can come and go audience wise. If they like it, they like it, if they dont? oh well! There's people who still follow me from when i was 14 and i follow them even tho we're in completely different spaces now.

The fanart part i vibe with personally bc im really bad at coming up with totally original work and premises. i much prefer having pre-established rules and worlds to work with (plus the characters i love getting massacred in the writing i HAVE to save them)

Just existing online will garner you mean comments or asks, and my best advice is its not worth it to take the bait even if its absolutely absurd and wrong, i just block and go now, and im much happier :) this all being, of course, as long as what you're doing isnt harmful, bc even with good intentions, you'll mess up/blunder eventually. If the heat gets too much for you, no one will judge you for withdrawing your art from social media. thats a perfectly safe thing to do to keep it for yourself.

As an adult, shits not that serious im 28 drawing naruto fanart bc it makes me happy after a long day of work, so have fun!! art's supposed to be fun don't let the fear win i love sharing my art with strangers on the internet!! Let's take this a step further and say Jennika also finds the boys' Lair long before Mama does as well, but chose not to disclose this information to her Mama for her own purposes. Afterall, she's a gremlin baby sister who jsut met her older brothers for the first time ever, even if they don't know it yet. She'd bound to want to do some mischief before they can realize she's there!

Yes! This works out soo much for her, especially if she's being a mysterious instigator towards Leo lol.

B/c FW! Jennika loves knowing secrets. The less people that know, the better. (In the apocalypse timeline, she's going to absolutely love the Vault's rumor mill lol) and she is very good at acquiring those secrets, (high stealth skill, plus sticking to walls, plus clones? She's her own intelligence network.)

Therefore she would do her damnedest do figure out as much as she could about her newly found brothers, including where they lived. (it was a bit difficult at first considering the four disappeared for several weeks (secondary mutations) but once they started going around town again, it was damn near easy.)

Would she tell anyone the location/she knows? Probably not. Maybe when she's older she'd be more forthcoming with the information she's gathered, but at the age of 12-13, she's very much like a puppy that got ahold of something she knows she shouldn't, and is now causing chaos as the everyone is trying to catch her to figure out exactly what she's got. She will not give up that secret without a fight. The most she will do is flaunt that she knows it, just to get a reaction (like she does with leo. A lot.)

All i can think of tho, is whenever Leo finds out that she knows where their home is, and he immediately tries to tell someone. Considering he only knows her as Nobody at that time, it would probably go down something like this.

The little secret-keeping chaos gremlin will often just break in and watch them from their ceiling. It takes a while for them to notice : )

(on another thing, her and donnie are either going to be super tight b/c of their mutual love of collecting information and disbelieve in 'invasion of privacy' as a concept. Or they're going to be super-rivals over collecting that information. I cannot decide which is funnier lol.)

Ok so basically I think they're both healthy / unhealthy in their own ways its just up to ur interpretation yk. Like ultimately it's up to everyone to decide whether it's toxic or not in their hcs and fanon aus and stuff bc note everyone's gonna have the same opinion but to me I think both friendships are very healthy in their own right.

I think at first tori's def a bit selfish and only seeks out relationship out of his own selfish desires like he seems out Saiki bc of his cool powers (though there isn't much wrong with wanting to befriend someone bc u think they're cool) but he also mentions he wishes he had those powers and then he goes on to try and make saiki use his powers for saikis benefit (aka be popular and get a girl) which again isn't like the worst thing ever like it's obvious Tori would want his only friend to help set him up with someone but the way he does it is a bit disingenuous bc he's pretending to be something or someone he's not. But regardless saiki always helps him even if he doesn't actually help lol sometimes he sabotages him tho usually Tori does that to himself LMAO. But saikis supportive of Tori even tho he insults him and shit he's just a tsundere who doesn't know how to show affection and his way of doing it is a lil violent but he doesn't actually ever harm Tori he always heals him and stuff when he actually physically does damage so Tori can't even feel it when his insides explode lmaooo. Also saikis constantly helping Tori become a better person and do the right things. And u could say it's "toxic" or one-sided cuz only Tori gets something out of their friendship but that's simply not true bc saiki gets a friend out of Tori and the first friend to know Abt his powers too, the first person out of his family to know him for who he truly is powers and all. He's also really reliable even if he's kinda incompetent or useless he is still a huge help when it counts. Tori's constantly putting saiki above his selfish desires when it really matters. They each give and take from each other which I think is necessary for a healthy relationship tbh. It's not one sided at all bc they each risk their lives for each other (cat tank arc).

As for hiitori like any relationship Tori pursues it's a lil superficial at first bc he's got unpure intentions and like selfish reasons for approaching her. He wanted to flirt with her and date her simple as that he wants to be loved lol. And he's a bit of a jerk Abt it bc altho he's nice and kind to her u could say he's probably mostly or at least partly doing it to end up dating her or so she doesn't end up hating him or losing feelings for him bc he's never really had a girl like him for more than like 0.2 seconds. He approaches Saiki to help cure her unluckiness so that he can date her without the fear of getting killed (which like sorta fair but at the same time still douchey lol). He also gives up and runs away bc he's a coward and tries to dump her into Saiki and Mikos hands bc again he's selfish and prioritizes his life over anything else but he tries to protect her (and himself, or maybe himself and by extension he protects her) when they're together like when he offers to take the dangerous chemicals to class himself instead of letting her touch them. So you could say his motives are more Abt self preservation than love but I do think he still cares about her safety and well being (even if at first it's just bc hes desperately and selfishly attached to her love for him). And he gets a lil "toxic" or like possessive when satous in the pic bc now he's got a love rival and he doesn't really like being dumped over the average dude (like fair again but it's still seen as toxic bc he calls hii-chan his girl LMAO) and so he tries to get between them right but backs off when he's literally almost killed at the stationary store haha what a coward. But then when they find out why she's so unlucky although reluctantly Tori ends up helping Saiki figure out how to cure her misfortune. And u could argue he only did it for Saiki's sake so he could praise. Him or be proud of him but I think the reason (if not most of the reason anyways) he does it is because he does genuinely care about hii-chan's safety at the end. He can't just leave a poor cute defenseless girl with that shitty guardian spirit. She's the first girl who's ever really had feelings for him for this long and like genuinely doesn't hate him or whatever so ofc he's gonna have a lil soft spot for her she's the closest thing he has to a friend in class since most of the girls hate him and call him "pervitsuka" and shit so im sure he was trying to be legit helpful and useful to if he wouldn't get recognition for it. I mean he goes full on mom mode on the guardian spirit and then nendou sr comes and goes mom mode sr on the dude too and cleans him up and then it's still not enough so Tori sacrifices (literally, he holds a fucking funeral for them) his getas burning them at the stake just so the guardian spirit can be happy and protect hii-chan like he should've been. He doesn't even complain about giving up his high heels what a brave girl he is 😔💔 oh u also made a post I think Abt how when tori was missing for a whole fucking week the only one who noticed was hii-chan and she went and told Saiki and that's the only reason he found out lol. Maybe it's because the dude sits next to her in class or bc he was her first friend at pk or her first love of something but whatever the reason it was still incredibly thoughtful of her to worry about him and his wellbeing. That's something that didn't really occur to kusuo so I guess if u really wanna pin them against each other hii-chan wins by being the more thoughtful of the two but hey Saiki felt guilty and wanted to rescue Toritsuka despite him being brainwashed and hating him at the moment that he risked his life for him just so he wouldn't get hurt by the cat tank so I think they can't really be compared since. They're different circumstances lol.

Anyways, I think that although his motives for starting any relationship and approaching anyone are usually selfish, Tori sticks around and helps them when they need it. Both saiki and suzumiya are important for Toritsuka's growth as a person / character and their relationships are both fairly healthy at least by the end. I think toritsuka loves and cares for suzumiya and saiki as much as they do for him <3

no i do think you're right that people do dramatize when ken is mean to his siblings way more than when the roman and shiv do it. like roman mocks kendall's stutter all the time but when kendall does it to shiv... i wonder why that reaction is tho? sometimes i think it's bc people are just so set on the kendall will turn into logan arc that they latch onto everything kendall does as logan-coded more than the other kids. more than the writers intend us to too

yeah I truly do wonder about it as well. And I could totally see that 'kendall is being logan-ified' thing as a reason, but I feel like there's something else to it as well. I mean, to be fair, Kendall and Shiv are both probably a bit more ruthless with each other than either of them is with Roman, for example, or Roman with them (shiv telling Logan to send Ken to prison, Shiv's letter, ken sabotaging shiv's speech, all the insults Kendall throws at her, especially in s3) while each of their fights with roman are, mostly, more like 'normal' sibling-fights, aka insults and/or physically fighting each other. which isn't to say they're not still fucked-up and hurtful, but I feel like the scale of the consequences is often bigger with ken and shiv's fights, as demonstrated perfectly in 4x8.

So I can see why people have stronger reactions to their 'fights'. I think what puzzles me though, is when people pick one of their sides and insist they're the 'better' one/ the other is the 'worse' one? without acknowledging that they're both continually pretty horrible to each other. Which isn't a kendall-and-shiv-specific problem but more of a thing that exists within discussions about any relationship and character on the show - the idea that there is always some 'better' person, whose actions can be excused because someone else's actions were worse. Which is not how anything works and also just not how this show is written.

I don't know. I also think, to get back to the ken and shiv discussion, something those one-sided arguments tend ignore is that they're actually pretty close, when they're not destroying each other's lives lol. They both defend the other person in fights (last episode's tom thing, but also in Austerlitz when shiv gets mad about Logan spreading rumors, or kendall about Logan yelling at her, etc), they both, consistently, are the first or only person the other turns to when they're in trouble / need support (Ken asking shiv to take care of him in 2x4, Shiv calling Ken to tell him Rhea fucked her over and to help him in 2x7 /2x8, etc) and they often enough cannot stay mad at the other person, no matter what they say (like how shiv is the first one to soften up and talk to Ken/forgive him after the bear hug thing, how he says to her he doesn't know if they come back from the letter but then pretty quickly jokes about it and seems to have forgiven her). Like, I guess, the way people simplify and remove all nuance from their relationship by picking sides and acting like any wrongdoing on either of their parts stems from them actually hating each other / being rivals / being plain ruthless and horrible people is incomprehensible to me. It's pretty clear to me that they're siblings who love each other but never learned how to do that without also fighting each other every step of the way, and being in constant competition, fueled by Logan pitting the kids against each other from a very young age. But, again, that whole mindset people have is not at all merely a shiv and kendall thing, and it stems from the same misunderstanding of the show that makes people watch it as a game of thrones-style fight for who gets to be CEO, instead of a show about a very complicated and broken family abusing their enormous amounts of influence and power in ways that have immensely destructive outcomes.

So on Sinedd's integration in the team...

While everyone else, even D'jok, seem to have accepted Sinedd back well enough, Mice still hates him and literally gags at the idea of him being on the team. I kind of wish his objection was taken more seriously in the writing – the narrative acts as if D'jok is the main person that has to settle his scores with Sinedd, but forgets that Micro-Ice was Sinedd's main target for years, and according to that flashback, they used to be a trio (although from the flashback you could also say Sinedd didn't care for him back then either lol). His reaction is pretty understandable and although he should still be keeping it professional, they shouldn't really expect him to forgive him. That dynamic could have been interesting, but we never get a confrontation or any closure between the two because Micro-Ice as a character is just there to be laughed at this season.

When Maya calls D'jok she kind of makes it sound like they should accept Sinedd because he's had it hard, which I'm not a huge fan of. First of all because in this season they had her act more as a guardian to Sinedd than D'jok, who also lost himself down the wrong path for a while there, but also because I think the reasoning for accepting him should be that he has swallowed his pride and is genuinely trying to be a better person. Otherwise it sounds a bit like “having a sob story is a justification for acting out”. I know that wasn't the intention, but still, it's in the details.

But Maya is right that D'jok and Sinedd are parallels of each other. Both grew up without their biological parents, both are extremely competitive and put huge importance on their ambitions and success, both are prone to lashing out at others when distressed. But D'jok was luckier and had an adoptive mother, and ended up with good friends who could keep him in check. They turned out differently due to different upbringing but both made mistakes and hurt others – D'jok knows this so is more humble and doesn't give Sinedd a hard time. Sinedd also saved his life, so there's that too.

Rocket: Even if D'jok and Sinedd are rivals, they're still like brothers.

UMMMMMMMMM that's taking it too far. Sinedd running off to the Shadows wasn't what put them against each other, neither was the fact he dated Mei. He was already being unpleasant all the time in season 1 and it was implied it has been that way for a long time. D'jok didn't show any regret or whatever in season 1 - he had no problem responding to Sinedd's provocations with taunts about him not having friends LOL. If they were like brothers, it was way too long ago for Rocket to be making that comment

Anyway I like this convo between D'jok and Sinedd and how it ends, for all the reasons that they're parallels as I mentioned above. But the first few lines are a bit funny because D'jok actually HASN'T been fighting him lately, it sounds as if they're making up after fighting about Mei but that's... not really what's been happening? But moving on, this is functionally an apology from Sinedd, but again he should apologise to Mice too.

Also with Sinedd saying he wants to be a good person now so his family can be proud of him... ehhhh I still think his development should have started earlier. His whole problem was that his response to growing up without family was to put others down – so the solution is to... give him a family so he'll stop doing that? I'm simplifying it but I just think it would be more impactful if he tried to turn things around before meeting his actual parents. Sure, they can still be a motivation and encourage him, but yeah.

I mean it still works with him finding his parents, realising that love and affection was all he wanted and that he was wrong to take it out on others... but at least bring the parents in earlier in the season because as it is, it's just too rushed. Honestly you could just get rid of the fake parents storyline – it was done so we can see Sinedd at his low point, but you could already have him like that after the events of season 2. It would feel like a natural continuation and you can bring the real parents in earlier.

Last note: MAN does the voice acting suck here lol

Kind of interesting that compared to the Shadows last season, who physically didn't seem affected by the loss of flux (they just suddenly sucked at football. love that match), the Akillians are immediately drained physically and wiping out.

They really settled the Team Paradisia stuff with one sentence about them being taken care of by Chief Maddox huh. I suppose they were gonna put the Mark x Nina resolution in season 4? Idk, Team Paradisia deserved better

So Aarch is back to coaching, but for Club Galactik right? Makes sense, he still wants the job but this will be less intensive and will allow him more time to settle down with Adim and their future child. The Snow Kids will be just fine on their own. Well, when it comes to football anyway. Can't make any promises about Pirate-related adventures :P

Aaaaaand there it is... ok I always knew this was coming even when I watched the show for the first time, but it must have been so insane to watch back when it first aired. Like, everything is calmly wrapping up and then SUDDENLY the holo-trainer goes weird and the kids disappear with Mei and Micro-Ice. We linger on this for a few seconds aaaaaand.... THAT'S IT! END OF SEASON! I would have gone apeshit too

This is like a transporter malfunction from Star Trek lol, although I'm wondering how that can even happen, like does the holo-trainer actually teleport people then? Anyway I honestly don't care THAT much about the ending if I'm honest, like I get that it was a last ditch effort to get the show renewed as the higher ups obviously didn't have much faith in it with that budget slash, so I can easily just pretend those last few seconds didn't happen and it ended with the Snow Kids happily going into the holo-trainer to help teach the next generation. It's not great, but it doesn't really ruin the season for me

Soooooooooo uuuuuuhhhh.... that was it! Yeeeah I'm not a huge fan of this season, but I don't hate it with a burning passion. Except at certain points. As a whole it's more,, disappointment for what could have been. I think I'm glad we have it, because it really is jam packed with interesting concepts and I think if the writing were better, it genuinely could have been the best season. The previous seasons certainly aren't ATLA-levels of writing either but the main emotional beats worked well, whereas here it's a lot more all over the place.

Generally I feel like the team behind this season had the ambition and the vision, I mean we have Sinedd redeeming himself, a multi-flux tournament, a non-Akillian joining the team, players leaving for other teams, Aarch deciding to retire and the Snow Kids being experienced and mature enough to handle that, a "main" couple not staying together since they were teenagers... all interesting things! It's not a soulless production that doesn't try to change the status quo, but I think they just didn't manage to pull it together. There was a LOT going on with a lot of characters but ultimately there wasn't enough time for the development to feel natural and stick.

Outside of that, some characters were flanderised, yeah. Looking at you, Micro-Ice. Wait, they never even finished that plotline about him, Yuki and Zo-leen! Wtf! On the other hand, I was pleasantly surprised at how some characters were handled, like Mei. It would have been so easy to villainise her but they treated her with respect, which was cool. As for the other Snow Kids, a lot of it was just romance drama shoehorned in, which gets boring when the supporting cast don't have anything else going on.

Production-wise, they did the best with the budget they got but yeah it does suck because the matches with all the cool moves were one of the selling points of the series. But here most of the games just felt like "A, B and C needs to happen, and for the rest let's just throw in some filler moves". Direction is not just down to the animation itself - types of shots, camera movement, transitions, music... all these little details were lacking so the matches ended up being kinda bland in comparison to the previous seasons. There were some creative additions though, like the Elektra's flux.

I think I've already expressed my thoughts on everything else during the commentaries, so yeah it's been fun! Hope they've been fun to read ^^

So, I've been thinking about my Cybersites AU again recently and fleshing it out some more. It's the one where, originally, the idea was simply just the trio all being from Cyberspace. [Or just Matt, or some variation of who is and who isn't.] Matt is from Mt. Olympus, Inez from Sensible Flats, and Jackie from Happily Ever After.

In this AU, I've decided Motherboard will be a stronger Goddess-like presence. At first, she'll have a physical form and be confined to Control Central. If she leaves it, she becomes weaker. And instead of the trio being accidentally roped into Cyberspace's problems, they'd be hand-picked by destiny, lol.

Motherboard was once told that her heir would betray her and it would be up to a child of her 'once most beloved cybersite' to find the other two. [I was going to say, like, daughters of harmony and magic, but... uh... that sounds familiar, doesn't it? Oops. I promise I'll find better prophecy titles for Jackie and Inez.] Motherboard thought this was nonsense until everything went down with Hacker and she found her powers beginning to weaken and become limited.

Mt. Olympus is one of the oldest Cybersites and Motherboard once had a very close relationship with it. Over the last few centuries, however, the Gods of the cybersite no longer see her as their Mother but as purely an outsider or even rival. Matthias' mother is one of the few Gods left who see Motherboard in good light so she is considered an outsider, which is also due in part her relationship with a minotaur.

So, Motherboard speaks to Matthias and tells him that he's to find two others to help her stop Hacker. He also gets to meet Digit and Dr. Marbles, but they're not allowed on this first journey as it has to be completely up to Matt to find the other two. Or possibly for the other two to find him.

I don't have all the details ironed out, but let's talk about Inez.

Inez is, by Matt's words, a sort of "princess" of Sensible Flats. Her Aunts, Judy and Trudy, brought her in after their brother died. They're highly protective of her. They agree, tho Judy reluctantly so, that she'll be raised be a Judge, not a Sheriff. And in the meantime, she's tasked with taking care of the town's garden and keep up moral. When things get dicey in the Old Western Cybersite, she's the first to be hidden away.

Of course, Inez wants to do more for the town and cybersite she loves. She's seen as far too young and priceless to be allowed to help in any bigger way, though. This is why when Matt, after seeing her skills and intelligence in helping prevent a Hack Attack, offers her to join the Cybersquad, she jumps on it.

Next is Jackie, who is a Fairy Godmother in training in the cybersite of Happily Ever After. She and a few other magical-types of Good are trained under Cinderella's Fairy Godmother. While the others are exceeding, she struggles to keep up. She can't grant wishes or preform tricks in a traditional sense.

She can only conjure up illusions, nothing real. It's considered mostly useless, especially by her self. She would tell you she's only good at flying and making pretty sparkles. This has forced her, however, to become skilled outside of magic. She can sew, cook, draw, act, and even fight better than most fairies can... without their magic, of course.

More than anything, she wants to help, and she fears that she'll fail her story without magic. Matt however thinks Jackie is very powerful, and she happily joins him and Inez. She thinks she can do more good in helping them and Cyberspace then failing back in HEA.

The three of them share a common want to help others and to be seen as more than what they are now.

Matt's story is either revealed at the beginning or throughout this journey. He's seen as a misfit on Mt. Olympus, the son of a Goddess and Minotaur, giving him Herculean-like abilities. He has a dangerous amount of knowledge on all the Gods' business, and his hubris is seen as that of believing he's anything more than dirt. And due to his father, his "Achilles' heel" is covered by the green chlamys.

Digit's story is largely unchanged, but his role is even more fatherly/Uncle-like due to the kids being from Cyberspace. He sees them more often, knows their parents/guardians, and they don't get to be invincible to some things in Cyberspace due to being Earthlies anymore. They also come to him, Dr. Marbles and ofc Motherboard more often and on their own, whether to visit or if they're seeking advice or help.

The trio also know Hacker on a slightly more personal level. While they may have only had a few encounters with him before while he attacks their Cybersties, they also know his story in real time. They were told stories of him being good since they were babies, and witness his betrayal, banishment, and revenge in real-time.

It is during this first adventure that Hacker gives Motherboard the virus. She may possibly lose her physical form, saved by Marbles and placed in a giant computer unless I come up with something else.

The Cybersquad's adventures continue from this point forward similarly to the show, except they have an extensive knowledge on Cyberspace, there's no mentions of Earth, and there's ofc possibilities for more stories surrounding their new backgrounds. If you read all the way to the end wow ty!

Some personal Genshin idol au headcanons:

Scara and Heizou were the secret members of 4NEMO. During their rookie days, only Aether, Venti, Xiao and Kazuha would show up in music videos, lives and interviews. All of their songs would have Heizou and Scara's voice and fans would go crazy about who they actually are (and would go even more crazy when they're finally revealed)

Raiden Mikoto (the Shogun), Fischl, Beidou and Keqing are in the same group called Electra. Lisa is their manager. Their concept is mostly dark and royalty theme which is not so kid-friendly because their songs always mention death or blood. Tho they do have some love songs and by they i mean only Keqing.

Albedo is a solo artist. He's usually active in social media and would occasionally release some songs.

I like to think that scaramouche and wanderer are kuni's Alter-ego type of thing (like August-d and suga).

DCKZ. The most popular member is Childe since he would release lots of solo songs or duet songs with one of the other members. Guizhong is alive and she's their manager. People would usually make rumours about her and Zhongli dating. Diluc and Kaeye's relationship is a little better than their relationship in the game.

6reeze and dckz are rivals but they would usually go to eachother concerts in disguise.

Lisa, Jean and Guizhong are the most well-known managers. Guizhong is just like Kaeya and Childe so it's much more likely for Diluc and Zhongli to properly manage the group. Jean is literally the mom of 6reeze. Lisa is probably the best manager for Electra cuz she's the only one who can manage their personalities without getting scared.

TVT Dream ( Razor, Chongyun, Bennett and Xingqiu) are the rookies and also the youngest idols in Teyvat Ent.

Lumine is a well known make up artist

The Kamisato siblings are the two duo singers. They're more active in the modeling field.

Barbara, Xinyan and Yunjin are all solo artists but they're usually seen together for fan signings, interviews, vlogs etc.

Hu tao and Ganyu are choreographers. They're also Xiao's adoptive sisters (Ganyu being the eldest and Hu tao being the youngest)

Ningguang is a very rich and known fashion designer.

Now if we talk about the Sumeru characters, i don't really have anything for them. I haven't even seen anyone adding them in the idol au so it's a lil hard for me to imagine them as anything (ig they can be actors or models)

Genuine question. Does anyone else theorize that Mu is the biological daughter of the Prince/Snatcher and Vanessa?

The baby room in the mansion has plagued my mind once again and I have a hard time believing that it was just there for no reason. They must have been expecting a child, right? Like you don't just renovate a room like that for no reason, it's costly(they're probably rich tbh but still). I find it hard to believe the room is pointless and only there to add some spooky feels to the game bc it's not a scary room. I also find it odd, in game play, Vanessa doesn't check that room until the end bit of her looking for Hat kid and most players will never see her go in there bc they go to the attic immediately. If you stay back, to be an nuisance like me, you'll find she actually goes to the baby room but why does she go there last? I genuinely think she tries to avoid that room at all costs. Maybe she still feels regret about it even while being possessed(or whatever happened to her in canon).

Ok so now let's talk about Mu's weird ass yellow eyes. So this is more supported by fannon but just fallow along. So Lots of ppl like to draw the prince, right? Right. But drawing a character with no confirmed eye shape or color is hard, right? Right. Most ppl hc the prince's eyes to be yellow mainly bc of Snatcher's being yellow, right? Right!

Soooo let's just say MAYBE if the Prince and Vanessa were to have a child that child could possibly have blonde hair and yellow eyes???

I know that's more of a stretch so maybe I should point out more obvious things. I just like the eye theory lol

So one I like the most is that Vanessa and Mu share the same voice acter which could point to a connect between the two. And even if they didn't share va, both of these characters are very vengeful. Like we all know what happened when Vanessa became enraged. Lots of ppl died. Now look at Mu's final level bs. That place is a death trap for sure, and IF you(mainly talking about the npcs) get to the end you get judged by Mu. And well. Last guy we saw there fell through a trap door. He's probably a goner. I genuinely think if Mu was left to her own devices with no intervention from Hat kid, she'd probably kill most of the cast. She's very vengeful much like Vanessa.

I will say tho Vanessa is much more petty about her vengeance. Mu has a much better reason to be so angry about the world that wronged her.

Another thing to point out about these two is that they're elements of anger and rage are opposite of each other. Vanessa has a kingdom of never melting ice and Mu's kingdom is ever flowing lava. I find the parallels between these two interesting.

Anyways talking about fire, you know who else has fire as one of they're main elements?

Yeah it's Snacher.

Both Mu and Snatcher are Mischievous, cocky, willing to use others to get what they want, willing to kill ppl, both are traumatized by someone ruining they're old lives and having to abandon they're old lives just to survive and they both has to suffer ALONE bc of these ppl. I pointing at the last two very loudly.

(I'm sure there's more similarities between these two. It's 4am and I'm just very tired.)

Now we don't know what the Prince's personality was prior to these events happening but the similarities in outcome are interesting. Both were shown to be nice and sweet ppl before these events happening to them and now both have nearly Impenetrable walls so that others don't get close to them.

BTW on a side thing. I don't think Mu ever considered Hat kid as a friend like that Lil progress bar thing showd after Hat kid saved her. A reliable ally at the time, yes but never friends. I think she just saw Hat kid as an easy way to the mafia hq. I mean Hat kid does most of the work and just after one disagreement Mu considers Hat kid her rival. Plus that friendship bar never shows up again! It was a lie! A show! Why doesn't it show up again?? I genuinely don't know.

So as a last note, so that I can go sleep in peace tonight, here is what I think happened.

Vanessa and The Prince were expecting a child soon.

The Prince goes to law school and leaves a pregnant Vanessa behind while he goes studies.

Either the child came sooner then expected or a miscalculation happened and Vanessa births a child while The Prince is still out on his studies.

Vanessa possessed with that weird jealousy hex(no idea what happened in canon) doesn't want the child to steal the Prince's attention from her.

Vanessa not in her enraged killing spree set of mind like she is in the future decides to abandon the newly born in a new land. Far from her home but somewhere safe.

The child in taken in and taken cared of by the ppl in that safe town and the child grows up there.

Vanessa gets to have all the Prince's attention as she always wanted and more as they "mourn" together for a stillborn that never happened.

ANYWAYS Mu is never confirmed to have parents and she lives in a pecking tiny ahh "cave" by HERSELF and the townies cant take care of her anymore bc of the mafia invasion!And I'm just going insane over here!I'm so tired!

Hope whoever is reading this can understand my mad ramblings. I've been sitting on this for so long. And as much as I live and BREATH for found family between Hat kid a Snatcher. The similarities and oddities that connect this three make me go even more insane and I hope maybe ppl will get where I'm coming from. And maybe hopefully there are ppl just like me out there going insane about Mu and her possible backstory.

Yao exhaled sharply as his eyes fluttered over the artwork before him. It was old as the dirt beneath the museum he stood in, it was old as he was.

The existence of a nation is bittersweet.

You live long enough to see civilization evolve and change, see great inventions come to fruition and movements rise and fall. You experience every era, every style of art, of music, you experience each century’s creativity at its very peak and watch it fall as a new wave of thinking floods into its place. As a nation, you grow with your people, with time, with history. You are history.

You get to see the peak of what you love.

But you must also watch its bitter descent. You live long enough to see everything you know and love disappear into time and get shoved into history books and museums that refuse to depict what you experienced and what you saw entirely accurately. You forget things you love, you forget old friends and old favorites. You watch the faces of people you love decay and dissolve until they get buried under the dirt you’ll continue to walk upon for years, and it’s heart-wrenching. Everything you love is torn away, and everything you find will not last.

And when you’re as old as Yao, very few can share your memories.

Yao has lived with a glare in his eyes and a sharpness on his tongue for longer than most other nations have. He’s seen his old friends rise and fall and he’s kept himself steady throughout, bracing himself for every wave that washed over him and every loss he experienced. There are very few left that can rival his existence.

“See this? The artist’s use of the brush is impeccable.” Yao clicks his tongue, “Certainly superior to whatever mess modern art is. You’d think that they spilled paint on a canvas. Where is the inspiration?”

The young man beside him shifted on his feet impatiently, boredom painting his features as he looked over to a group of gleeful men, cheering with their drinks.

Yao sneers, “Hmph, as if you would understand, you're far too young.”

(and despite the nation beside Yao's inhuman age, it was clear Yao considered him hardly different than a child)

“So um… I’ll see you around, China.” The nation shuffles away, heels of his shoes clicking the tiled floor as he walked over to those he could relate to a bit better.

And a laugh bounces off the walls, one that makes Yao huff.

“Hello Yao,” you sang, “I’ve see you’ve been terrorizing our juniors again.”

You smiled at the man before you, tilting your head as his arms crossed a little tighter and his lips twitched in annoyance.

“Come now, don’t ignore your old friend.” You frowned, mock hurt echoing through your voice.

“You’d think such an old friend would know when to leave someone be.” Yao bit back, drawing a giggle from your ribcage that made something in his heart remember.

(but he would never give in to a feeling so traitorous)

You gazed over the old painting, slowly stepping closer to Yao. “The artist’s brush work is immaculate, yes?”

“Yes.” Yao sighed, “Despite your bothersome nature, at least you have taste.”

You pretended to gasp in offense, a hand clutching at your imaginary pearls.

“If you’re going to reminisce, you shouldn’t call the only person who shares the memories bothersome, how impolite, Yao.”

Yao glared at you in annoyance, “But it is true, is it not? Should I lie just to protect your feelings?”

“Perhaps,” You smiled, “You never know how much longer we have.”

Something in Yao stutters as he remembers those who faded from his life, nations he outlived, conquered, killed.

(but he shook it off and told himself it had nothing to do with you)

“We’ll see who outlives who,” Yao said, smugly.

“So the bet is still on then?” You giggled, “I trust you’ll hold up your end of the deal when I outlive you, then?”

“Might be hard from the grave,” Yao allowed a smile to grace his lips, “Perhaps in my last days I’ll arrange it. Though I suspect I won't be needing to.”

“How confident.”

What a twisted game it was. Betting on who would die first, who would leave the other’s life. The last pieces of a puzzle lost to time and they do not fit together, but their edges are mangled from years of pushing and forcing and-

What would Yao do if he lost you to time?

“Maybe I should go first,” His voice lowered into a bitter murmur, “This life is taking far too long as it is.”

“And lose? I’m shocked you’re willing to entertain such an idea.”

“A loss more bearable than-” Yao snapped his mouth shut, eyes reluctant to move from your face (lips) as he flushes. “Than having to live another day with you irritating me.”

You laugh.

“That would be the Yao I know so dearly, then.”

“Dearly?” Yao spat, “As if we haven’t been feuding for centuries.”

“Of course, but maybe the hatred has let me get to know you better than kindness would, hm?” You teased, “Such a cruel tongue, you should learn to hold back.”

“You talk too much, take your own advice.”

“Mmmm, no, you’d miss my voice too much.” You winked, Yao’s face scrunching up as his heart quickened.

“Perhaps the best invention I’ve witnessed is earplugs.”

��Or maybe a gag to hold back your sharp insults-”

The sharp noise of glass breaking forces the two of you to glance over to the splintered wine glass lying on the floor beside you. You raise a brow as a young nation spews apologies at you.

“How clumsy.” You remark.

“You should watch where you’re going.” Yao tags along.

“So inconsiderate, where has common courtesy gone over the years?” You huff, turning away from the glass and from Yao.

“It seems we are the only ones with any manners left.” Yao turns to the painting as well.

And despite your bickering and teasing and insults your shoulders brush together as you stand in front of the painting and the nations around you still see you as old friends. And maybe the feud isn’t as big as the two of you try to make it. And maybe the pieces fit together better than you think.

I’ve seen a lot of people saying NaruSaku would’ve been a better endgame ship and would’ve lived up to Kushina’s words about finding someone like her and that their kids would’ve been stronger, and these are the same people who ship BoruSara, but, like, you wouldn’t have Boruto and Sarada if it wasn’t for NaruHina and SasuSaku.

NaruSaku wouldn't be a good couple and their kids wouldn't even rival NaruHina's kids' strength. here's why:

Sakura's kids are always weak (yes, I'm starting with this first so I can get it out of the way):

the only thing Sakura can really pass on is her strength, as we see Sarada using it quite often. But her chakra control and Medical Ninjutsu can't, which makes Sarada look pathetic in eyes of some fans for not being able to achieve Medical Ninjutsu even tho her mom's one of the greatest (at this point, Wasabi or Mitsuki might unlock the Byakugo Seal because they're the best at it) Sakura has no Kekkei Genkai and we've never seen her use Ninjutsu (I know she has the chakra natures for it, but never actually uses it). so she can't really pass on something that she doesn't have or never uses.

2. Kushina's words:

Kushina's words were never about finding someone like her (personality wise), but like her (deep down).

people say Hinata wasn't fit to be with Naruto 'cause she wasn't like Kushina, but those people were thinking personality wise.

in reality, Sakura was the first person to come his way, because he only liked her because she was cute. she was literally introduced that way.

Kushina never wanted Naruto to marry someone who has the same personality as her, but someone who is like her. literally, all Sakura and Kushina have in common is their hair colors are different from normal shinobis, they were picked on for their insecurities, and they're hot-headed. Hinata, however, has many similarities.

they both care about Naruto

they've protected him with their lives

Hinata was the first person to believe in him after his parents

Hinata was willing to give her own life for Naruto's safety, TWICE, as Kushina did.

Hinata helped him when he needed it the most as did Kushina when he met her for the first time

now we move onto way the ship wouldn’t work itself:

Naruto questioned when Sakura called herself beautiful:

here, Naruto questions Sakura when she calls herself "lovely ninja maiden". if he was so smitten with her, you think he'd question her nickname and not her teaching? yeah, I think so. even if he loved her SO MUCH, he wouldn't questioned, he'd agree.

2. Naruto has never complimented Sakura as a lover should:

in Naruto, not once has Naruto complimented Sakura's appearance. Inari, who barely got to know her and only got to know her for one arc, complimented her as soon as he saw her, yet why not Naruto...? only once he has, but that's when he introduced Sakura. even after their reunion, he said she looked exactly the same.

heck, he even claimed that Haku, a BOY, looked cuter than Sakura.

3. Sakura hits Naruto too much:

Sakura hits Naruto too much. if they had of gotten married, it would be an abusive one (Sakura abusing Naruto). I understand she cares about him and he cares about her, I really do, but there's still A LOT more panels of her hitting him more than her caring about him. but there's a limit of pics a post, and I have much more to add and I don't want Sakura hitting Naruto to take up all the pic space. and not to mention, there's still the anime fillers. I understand that it's supposed to be comic relief, yet there's no need to go that hard. she leaves bruises or bumps on the places she hits, whereas everyone else don't even leave a mark. I understand that it could be because of her being a Medical Ninja and her strength is more than a normal humans, yet she does it too hard, KNOWING it's gonna leave a bump. even Tsunade (who has only hit him at least once) has not left a mark on Naruto and her strength is GREATER than Sakura's. that just shows that she hits him too hard.

and even if they got married, it'll still be an abusive relationship because Sakura hasn't stopped hitting Naruto, even through timeskip. her kids, too, would suffer the abuse of their mother and fear for their lives.

4. they don’t understand each other on a deeper level:

now, Naruto married Hinata because they understand each other on a deeper level than anyone else (other than Shikamaru). she understands his pain and loneliness.

he never understood Sakura's pain and she never made an effort to understand his.

you may argue that because she was his teammate, she'd understand him the most because they went through Hell together. but the only people who understand Naruto on a deep deep level is Hinata and Shikamaru. not even Sasuke and Gaara (the ones confirmed to be his closest friends other than Shikamaru).

5. Naruto doesn’t except Sakura’s crush on Sasuke in part 1:

in original Naruto, Naruto tried everything to make sure Sakura falls out of love with Sasuke and in love with him. he never got to understand why she loves him or never really understood why he himself loved her. he even tried making her think Sasuke was a jerk by transforming into him.

I feel like if he had of ended up with Sakura and never realized his feelings for Hinata, it would be a loveless marriage and Naruto would've turned out as a spoiled brat, because he "won" his childhood lover.

6. The confession:

finally, the infamous confession that ruined Sakura for most of the fandom. honestly, I didn't think the Sakura hate could get any worst, yet this is just... it ruined Sakura for me.

like, Sakura seems okay with playing with Naruto's feelings. she KNOWS he likes her, Sai even confirmed it with BOTH him and her, yet she's reallly okay with hurting him and playing him for the fool?

not to mention, she KNEW about Hinata's feelings ever since the Pain arc, probably even before that because she's told Naruto that Hinata had been watching him all the way back in part 1, so she probably knew from there. was she really okay with playing with her boy best friend's feelings and betraying one of her best friends? she didn't even bother to check with Hinata about it. if Naruto had of said yes, do you think she would've had the nerve to walk in front of Hinata on Naruto's arm? no.

I don't think Hinata even knows of it. goes to show how little it meant to both Naruto and Sakura since they never bothered to mention it to Naruto's own WIFE.

but yeah, Naruto's head over heels in love with Sakura that he is totally in a loveless marriage with someone he finds weird because the girl he really loved is in a different marriage.
