Hello Welcome Home fandom!

I have another outing tomorrow. Been avoiding outing myself to this friend for far too long out of fear it might change our relationship. But he deserves to know - and I gotta put some trust in the fact that he cares about me enough to support me being trans. It's so nerve wracking though *screams*

'who they are'...hm- what motivates them, you mean? their driving force? now if we want to circle back to your wind metaphor we must firstly ask ourselves: what even is wind? how is it created? this driving force of nature. if we search the internet (or simply paid attention to our 9th garde geography teacher, which for me, was not always the case) we find that wind is a byproduct of the sun. its warmth heating the air on the ground at the equator, letting it rise and from thereon out stream towards the poles of our earth. unless you'd like me to make a silly sun anology about one james potter and turn this into a hot and steamy (no pun intended) threesome i'd like to stick to the term heat for now. heat, as in, burning mutual desire, perhaps? flaring tempers? fiery looks? that does jingle a bell. now i'd never make them out to be solely impulsive and passionate (given they are both soggy wet water signs) but between sirius' scorpio ego + venus in leo and remus' distinct pisces pettiness + snarling inner beast he is constantly trying to repress, throw in the gryfindor mischief they both possess, it is safe to say that heat is one of their, if not the, driving force behind their relationship and key to a happy, healthy, long and successful on and off marriage :)
