You open your locker after finishing up your training lesson to get some water. You're surprised when a folded piece of paper comes out of it, but you hurry nonetheless to pick it up and make it seem like you dropped something out of your hands instead. You put it in your pocket just in time, because you suddenly feel a strong arm draping over your shoulders.

"Hey, you!"

Looking up you find Yuuji grinning and Nobara just behind him, waving gently at you before smacking the pink haired male on the back of his head. He winces and immediately starts running.

"Learn what it means to give people personal space, you idiot!" she screams, chasing him down the hallway with her hammer in her hand, ready to strike him. You sigh, smiling at their antics.

You turn around to close your locker door, when you find a figure right next to it and you blush.

"Hey," mumbles Megumi, shily lifting a corner of his mouth.

"Hey, handsome," you answer, watching if anyone is near you before kissing him lightly on his cheek. You and Megumi have gotten together quite recently, and you both agreed on not making your relationship known, both for your own peace of mind and for saving the annoyance you'd have to deal with from your friends. You walk beside each other, going toward professor Gojo's classroom while having small talk: he asks you how you're feeling, how training went and what he can do to help your sore muscles feel better.

"Did- did you read the note, by the way?" he asks, avoiding your gaze and scratching behind his red ears.

"Oh, you put that in there? I still have-"

"If it isn't my two favorite students coming in late! Come in, come in!" a booming voice says behind both of you, startling you. You hear Megumi clicking his tongue at the sound of Gojo's nagging, while you resort to chuckle behind your hand. You sit down at your desk, which is the furthest from Megumi's one, when you feel a pair of piercing blue eyes staring at you. A shiver runs up your spine and you realize you've never felt more intimidated, incapable of moving and scrutinized than how you're feeling right now.

"Do you have something to share with the class, Megumi? Maybe something about one of your classmates?" you hear Gojo singing from the teacher's desk. You widen your eyes, your head snapping toward your boyfriend's inscrutable face.

"No, professor."

"Not even the love letter you so graciously wrote to our sweet yn?"

And that's how you're forced to reveal your not-so-secret relationship in front of an overjoyed and jumping Yuuji and a pained Nobara, who not even so quietly tells you that if you ever need a psychologist she knows a good one.

Work-in-Progress Wednesday

We're starting on a brand new chapter and getting closer to putting two grumpy old men in a room together. If you feel the ground vibrating, that's just me due to the excitement.

A heavy sigh falls from her lips, and she doesn’t even realize Ulfric is talking to her until he is in front of her.

“Do you think we should stop now?” He looks at his wife with worried eyes. He is no fool and can see the wheels turning in her gaze—thoughts in much the same direction he suspects. “She’s fine. We’re fine.” Ulfric reaches out a hand to her as he helps her dismount.

“I know that.” She chews on her bottom lip as she looks up at the painted skies. She had missed this. There is nothing more beautiful than Skyrim and her color-drenched canopies. “And this is as good of a spot as any. Ask Galmar if he approves.”

Ulfric nods and squeezes her hand before turning to wave at his housecarl.

Looking around her, she observes the last remnants of the Pale’s forests before it breaks its way into Whiterun plains. Evergreen and spruce boughs sprawl from every direction which will cover their camp from any passersby. At the very least, it will certainly make Galmar happy.

She sighs. It had taken a lot of convincing and eventually Ulfric threatening to leave him behind in the Palace before he begrudgingly agreed to accompany them along with a small group of hand-picked guards to make the journey. In his opinion, this entire trip is a waste of time and resources, and honestly, she is certain that Ulfric thinks so as well.

“So, this is where we make camp?” Galmar’s voice interrupts her thought as he and five other men trudge past her. “I suppose it will do as much as the next spot. Better here than out on the open fields. No cover there.” He sniffs before spitting onto the ground. “We will have to ride out early to avoid spending more time watching our backs than waggling our tongues with Kings in Rags.”

Dahlia rolls her eyes as she ignores the pointed comment. It is not anything that she didn’t already know or at least that he hadn’t mentioned at least ten times since leaving the gates of Windhelm. “It is good to know that your support is as unswerving as the knot in your beard.”

The biggest misconception in the bsd fandom ever to me is people constantly portraying Atsushi as someone who trauma dumps excessively when he canonically barely talks about it at all.

The entire point is that Atsushi does not talk about his trauma he’s just constantly thinking about/reliving it. He can’t escape the memories of his past so he tries not to acknowledge them.

He only mentions it when asked, either directly or when someone asks him to explain himself.

Atsushi doesn’t even give a cohesive explanation for what he saw while under Dogra Magra, he just apologizes to Haruno and Naomi.

If Lucy hadn’t had her whole “you’ve never suffered the way I have” spiel then I doubt even the audience would’ve gotten to find out about his scars

If Akutagawa never asked him how it felt for the orphanage headmaster to die Atsushi would have never told him that he’s been hallucinating.

In the omake where Kyoka asks him why his hair is like that it’s clear he wouldn’t have told her that unless she had asked.

In 55 minutes Atsushi very briefly mentions sleeping on a dirty floor somewhere to Kunikida because he was trying to explain and justify his behavior.

And the thing is that there are scenes that implies that the other characters see Atsushi behaving strangely and are visibly confused because they do not understand what’s wrong with him.

Remember, we as an audience get to see things about characters that the main cast doesn’t. Just because we see into Atsushi’s mind doesn’t mean the other characters know what’s going on in there.

Also little footnote here that I think this is a reference to the moon over the mountain but I digress

Accidently cooked up a silly little au the other day that I am very much enjoying gonna. talk about it under the cut because4 the FUCKING WORMS

OKAY so basically. literally everythign is the same except for the fact that. Ed got entirely yoinked instead of Alphonse. I dunno why that happens but. It does because I say so. Anyways. So this basically mean that Ed gets bonded to an armor instead of Al, and because I desperately wanted the secondary set of Armor to see some light I thought it would be funny to bond Ed to that instead. I haven't fleshed everything out, but as I'm working on that I wanna add a few of the different things in here just because. And I still might tweak things if I think it doesn't make sense. - Al lost his arm first, then traded his tongue and his eye to bond Ed to the armor, making him effectively mute. He's learned ASL and Ed has to translate for him a lot. Although in my hcs Al is a foodie so like. major bummer for taste buds. He likes fun textures and stuff though. I gotta figure out what problems this poses though so we'll figure that out. - Al most likely is going to go into being a state alchemist just for the fact of staying somewhat close to the storyline and stuff. and I don't know, insert random reasoning in here. Yeah - just a little design note. uhmmmmm I thought the cross thing on Ed's head/helm was cool and I had the bright idea of like "hey what if I put the emblem like. through the cross yk" and I might not do that. But at the moment it looks cool to me. so yeah. I'M STILL TOYING WITH THINGS. . . I have to figure out what happens and designs and stuff. but yeah.
