“Is it Cake?” season two kinda losing me with how much they’re letting the contestants fuck with the decoys. It also feels like a bunch of them are just molding everything and it kind of takes away how impressive or difficult the challenge is?

that one person on is it cake is so sus. is it possible to go 30 yrs without eating a mango? and why did she have to say ‘ooh, you always pick exotic flavors’? girl, everyone knows about ube now
+ lol at the judges thinking calamansi cake is a passed down traditional recipe. it’s literally just a sweet lime…
anyway, love how proud miko is of our filipino culture and flavors. i’ve never heard of peanut brittle called that before, but everything looked so good 🤩

The most unhinged part of Is It Cake? is Mikey Day seems to absolutely hate being the host.
He's so good on SNL, one of my favorite cast members, and I get that acting and hosting are so different, but this is on an entirely different plane.
It's uncomfortable. It's season one, so I'm guessing he's finding his flow and isn't allowed to watch his dailies and actively course correct. There're moments of him being good, but it's mostly this kind of, "Ugh! How are we not done yet" energy.

Still remember that tweet about season 2 being Alice Oseman’s Trojan horse for asexual representation
So this is my little Trojan cake with asexual layers to celebrate second season of the most adorable show 🥳

Honestly I’m a fan of Alucard’s “new” design. (“New” as in its his in game design or one of them). I think the pure white skin is a little off putting, but I do like how he gets white hair as he becomes an older vampire.
I feel like his new design is really elegant and just shows how powerful and ancient he is by making him stand out more than any other vampire. He’s much different than he was in the og Castlevania and I think it’s good to reflect that in how he looks.
I also like how his hair is white bc it’s kinda a reference to how in the games Dracula had white hair, and how Soma has white hair. Like it’s some weird genetic powerful vampire thing.

I have a hard time believing Tyler had zero feelings for Wednesday, and all their interactions were due to Laurel. He didn’t have to ask her out, he wasn’t expecting the note for the dance, he didn’t have to make her the cake, and he wasn’t expecting her to kiss him. He went all out, multiple times, I really don’t think Laurel was telling Tyler to kiss her, or to take her out on a date. He just had to get her trust, the rest wasn’t necessary. Yeah, maybe most of the time, it was due to Laurel’s orders, but some actions were his own.
