Wild Tears of The Kingdom theory but it’s been floating around in my head all day.
This is long and probably all over the place but please bare with me.
So I’m sure by now most of you have already seen the official artwork for Ganondorf and noticed that he had one of the tear shaped Gems on his forehead.
Except this one is red, you might even say it looks corrupted.
Tumblr media
But we’ll get back to that, because I wanna talk about the hero on the tapestry in botw for a hot second.
Tumblr media
So I know we’ve all already talked about how the hero in the tapestry isn’t Link, doesn’t even look remotely like Link, with the red hair and beard, but you know who does have red hair and a beard, oh yeah, Ganondorf.
Also, in the opening of the tapestry he isn’t called “The Hero” which is what we always call Link, he’s called “a warrior wielding the soul of a hero”
Tumblr media
So here’s where it gets crazy, well, crazier. What if for some reason Link wasn’t around for Calamity Ganon 10,000 years ago and Hylia, (or I guess it would technically be Fi?) was forced to chose someone else to battle The Calamity. A strong warrior, like someone from the Gerudo, like maybe….Ganondorf? And perhaps the “soul of a hero” refers to the master sword.
So let’s say I’m right and Ganondorf somehow ended up being the hero from 10,000 years ago, then what happened, why does he want to destroy us now?
Well, here’s where we pick up where I left off on the tear gem because I have a second theory inside of this one. Maybe, because he wasn’t the true hero, because he wasn’t LINK, he somehow got corrupted by malace during the battle, and they ended up having to seal him away somewhere deep underground. And the reason he’s so angry now isn’t just because of his malace corrupted soul, but because they betrayed him, they forced this role upon him, this destiny he never asked for and then when he needed help instead of trying to save him they locked him away, abandoned him after everything he had sacrificed for them.
I saw a post on tumble where someone mentioned they wanted to be able to save Ganondorf, which got me wondering if we can purify his little gem thing, but yeah that’s pretty much it.
Also, in not related to this theory, but I noticed the Zelda on the tapestry seems to have a dark skin tone, which makes me wonder if this is the Zelda from 10,000 years ago.

There’s zero chance Loki and Hela having so many similarities is just a coincidence. And even though we’re most definitely never getting a full explanation for it, I’m so curious as to what you guys believe the reason is. Do you think:
a.) Loki’s a shapeshifter who can see people’s memories when he touches them. So when Odin picked him up as a baby, he saw Hela in Odin’s mind and shifted himself to resemble her.
b.) Loki and Hela have the same biological mother.
c.) Hela is Loki’s biological mother.
d.) Odin changed Loki to look like Hela when he first held him, because he missed her.
e.) Hela’s biological mother is jotun, and she and Loki both have black hair/pale skin/green aesthetic/etc because that’s just what frost giants look like when they take an asgardian form.
f.) Hela and Loki are both adopted, both children of Laufey. Odin took Hela centuries earlier, then when he realised Laufey’d had another child, he took Loki too.
**I’ve listed these in order from the ones I find most likely to least likely, if you’re curious. Tell me which headcanon you prefer, I wanna see.

A really out of pocket thought occurred to me while trying to wake up for work, ahead of Fit’s stream today.
FitMC is a Kingdom Hearts fan.
He often has different tracks from the first two games playing in the background of his streams. This has been really consistent since the start of the QSMP, alongside the Final Fantasy X OST.
Both games have strong themes tied to memories, dreams, and otherworldly powers manipulating reality and the people in it.
I believe he’s mentioned KH2 as being one of his faves, and really liking the character Roxas. A character who you start that game with, enjoying the last 7 days of his summer vacation with his friends in a place called Twilight Town.
And who — if you’ll allow for slight, extremely simplified spoilers for an 18 year old game (ignore any unrelated internal high pitched screaming you can hear in the distance, I just feel really old all of a sudden) — discovers the entire world he lives isn’t real, that everything and (almost) everyone present is simulated, and that he is considered a means to an end to regain the data needed to restore someone else’s existence.
Everybody’s favourite Federation Janitor is on the island on a mission, under the guise of being on vacation. He has received reminders, twice, in the form of a clock delivered by a Code Entity that his time is running out. He is here to recover all of the player data. And he has stated that everyone else on the Island would hate him if they knew the real reason why he was really there.
Adding to that: Fit’s memory has been glitching on him recently, key details forgotten - such as the name of the Contractor who originally sent him to Quesadilla Island. Visual glitches occur on screen and Fit winces with the onset of headaches. Three times now this has led to him preparing to enter a deep sleep, with the hopes of recovering those memories. That third time may be tonight.
"A scattered dream that's like a far-off memory. A far-off memory that's like a scattered dream. I want to line the pieces up—yours and mine." — Kingdom Hearts II
I think that we are about to witness the end of FitMC’s “vacation” on Quesadilla Island. And we’re going to get a peek behind the curtain at what’s coming for the server in the new year.
"I've been having these weird thoughts lately.. Like… is any of this for real, or not?" — Kingdom Hearts

...okay, so I'm probably not the first person to notice this.
But gear's earing that he points towards when he says that he did the same ritual he wanted to help kuro with already on himself before:
Tumblr media Tumblr media
actually looks pretty similar to the pieces of the necklace the count used to create the servamps:
Tumblr media
The different pieces of the necklace seem to contain one demon each and the count used them to create the servamps.
So...did the count either learn this technique from the werewolves or is he possible even originally a werewolf himself? It would explain why he's immortal, that's why I'm wondering about this.
Gear says that the ritual is used to remove spirits, could it be that the count removed his own sins using the werewolf ritual and created the demons this way? But he went too far and removed too much unlike gear who only removed one part of himself? Him removing the sins from himself would also explain why he's so weird and doesn't understand other beings. As the sin demons say, they are a natural part of being a human and we have seen multiple times that denying their existence is harmful, removing them all from you would probably lead to you not being able to relate to other people anymore.
Maybe removing all these parts of himself is also why he has no appearance. Without his demons he's not a person anymore.
The count originally being a werewolf would also explain why he has magical abilities (gear can also use magic) before other magicians existed and why he's so anxious about certain people dying. Gear talks about how his immortality makes him sad because human friends do die, but unlike the count gear seems to accept death, grieves in a heathier way than the count and is able to move on and make new friends. Could also explain why his magic and creations are all strongly tied to the (full) moon.
Another similarity is that while werewolves apparently can't reproduce gear was able to have descendants by sharing his life force (it's mentioned in chapter 135 which isn't translated yet) with a woman and through her human children tsurugi is related to gear. Sigurd explained to nicco that the magicians came to be because the count let humans drink his blood, three survived, got magical ablities and became the ancestors of all human magicians:
Tumblr media
Maybe the count is more of a werecat though. He and the sloth demon do seem to have a closer connection, even though the count's appearance changes depending on the person looking at him he does usually keep his tail and the tip looks exactly like the one of kuro's cat/lion form and similar to the the one of inner sloth's non-human form.
It was also stated multiple times that the sloth demon is the strongest. I wonder why that is. Servamp comments on the fact that being lazy is often actually a sign of depression/anxiety through kuro's arc, so maybe the count was depressed and that's why the sloth demon is the strongest? Basically the demons strength depends on how much the count suffered from the different sins? It would also explain why melancholy is so strong, I assume kuro refusing to see him no matter how many siblings he sent his way to tell him to come looking for the count made him extremely sad and probably even made him come up with the plan to have himself be killed and then put in the same body as kuro through the ritual.
I assume he was behind C3 ordering the servamps to kill him because he's the one who created the magicians and thus C3 and lily who is kind of working for him was probably the one who put the idea that the count needed to be killed into the head of his eve (aka a member of the alicein family who hold a lot of power in C3 basically since the beginning. I explained this in more detail in another post). The people from C3 even said that the count can only be killed if he wants to and yeah, kuro didn't truly kill him, but he did destroy his body and kuro seems to have met little resistance when he attacked the count. Which probably means the count wanted this to happen.
#servamp#...if the servamps/demons all came from the count and the magicians are all basically the descendants of the count#does that mean this truly is all just a huge family conflict#since basically everyone involved is somewhat related to the count?😅#Sigurd says he's related to one of the three people who drank the counts blood#I'm still wondering if mahiru is special because he might have the blood of all three bloodlines#and C3 has a rule in place that forbids all three bloodlines from crossing#probably put in place by the count or lily#and that's why akira told nobody who the father of her child was#I still like my absolute crack theory that because mahiru might have “more” of the counts blood in him that he has no fixed appearance eith#But because he's so normal everyone perceives him as normal so nobody noticed until now that mahiru looks slightly different to all of them#honestly it would explain/excuse some questionable choices made by characters who as far as we know should be good people#Like why akira didn't tell anybody who the father was#why tooru tried to avoid being seen with mahiru in school by always saying he's to busy#Why tooru told mahiru not to tell the secret to anyone else#and why mahiru was raised as mundane as possible and as far away from C3 as possible#even why tooru kept his work for C3 secret from mahiru even after mahiru made the contract#and why he still didn't tell him the name of his father#If people know your relatives they start comparing you to them#If people knew that touma was mahiru's father they might expect mahiru to look like him#If people only knew mahiru was related to akira and tooru they would expect him to look like them#If people at school only knew mahiru but never met tooru before mahiru's appearance to them might be too different from tooru#Touma saying mahiru looks exactly like tooru doesn't disprove this crack theory either btw#Touma sees mahiru as tooru 2.0 and he's not 100% convinced he's actually mahiru's father so mahiru appearing as a copy of tooru makes sense#Just like mahiru would perceive himself as looking like akira and tooru because those are the only close relatives of his he knows#Sorry but I'm having too much fun with this crack theory#the twist that raising mahiru as the “ordinary high school student” was all a plot by his family#to keep people from noticing that they don't actually agree on what he looks like is too funny to me

seeing several pained, injured and even dead cheng xiaoshis in the xetroverthink music video really does make me think lu guang's original timeline was one where cheng xiaoshi died. or a scarier possibility, the timeline we're seeing is the only one lu guang discovers where cheng xiaoshi didn't die. maybe it's the only timeline where cheng xiaoshi gets his powers, and why lu guang knows so much about them.

Entirely inconsequential and very likely improbable undertale theory time!
Chara, given the Narrator!Chara theory is true, was the one to run away during the Undyne fight.
Evidence:
In a neutral run, Sans' Judgment Speech includes the following line of dialog ...
Tumblr media
... even if you never run away from a single fight during random encounters.
The only character you HAVE to flee from is Undyne in order to get her to Hotland. It's also one of the few fights where Sans is physically present to witness (with the others being Gryftrot and Shyren, both of which can be ended through sparing). With no other examples, this has to be the running away Sans is referring to.
But, why in the world would Frisk be smiling?
This is the most dangerous, difficult battle Frisk has been in so far. It's the only boss fight, to that point anyway, where the attacker has genuine desire to see you dead. On top of that, Undyne comments on your actions throughout the battle - your sparing, your pleas, your determination. There's no way that she WOULDN'T comment on a smile unless she somehow missed it (say, you had your back to her).
On top of this, Frisk has never been described smiling except in reference to Chara during the genocide route, where both Monster Kid and Flowey comment on their "sick" and "creepy" expression, repeatedly telling you that the situation isn't funny- implying the iconic smile.
It's also been suggested that Chara tends towards smiling in stressful situations, so perhaps they realized that sticking around was bad news and tried getting Frisk to bolt by opening the FLEE option.
But getting past speculation, here's the slight bit of evidence I took and ran with:
The narration only speaks in the first person when Chara is the subject, sometimes in white text.
Tumblr media
The ESCAPE dialog, though typically basic, will occasionally read:
Tumblr media
...entirely in the first person.
This is also the only time the RED soul does anything interesting, unlike the others, who each have special properties in battle. (BLUE has gravity, GREEN heals and keeps you in a closed space, YELLOW shoots, PURPLE traps, ORANGE punches and moves, CYAN is still until its safe to move). It's possible that DETERMINATION, or RED, has the ability to use MERCY in battle or, at the very least, FLEE, given that the soul changes to have legs.
With all this put together, there's at least some chance that Chara stepped in during the Undyne fight to allow the option to flee. Perhaps the soul resists Undynes' magic in some way? After all, she has no reason at all to turn Frisks soul from Green to Red, especially after the first time they escape. Maybe it's just too difficult to keep a constant hold on them, so she relents for brief periods until she can gather her strength again? This would explain her frustration with Frisk running away, but her apparent inability to do anything about that as the fight progresses. It would also explain why Sans mentions Frisk smiling when fleeing her.
While this is mostly just a fun idea that adds to Frisk and Chara's dynamic and makes a funny scene, it could have further implications. For example, it might imply that Frisk's choices are given to them by Chara. This might explain the repaired MERCY button during Asgore's fight. It would also suggest that Chara is constantly supplying Frisk with helpful information on the underground and the monsters, including peaceful pathways to resolve conflict (because honestly, most people encountering a weird alien creature trying to steal you soul would not immediately think that Flirting with or being cleaned by them would lead to success).
What do you think? I personally highly doubt this was intentional and was just a throw-away line for dramatics on Sans' part, but I also like to think that the dialog and set designs are very literal and reflect a wider world/ story. Please let me know your interpretation!

I just learned there are glowing spider lilies on the graves of Enkanomiyan sun children
they are visible only during Evernight and it makes me wonder what exactly the Evernight/Whitenight mechanic is.
I know that some mechanisms appear only during one state or the other and I can handwave it away as "magic", but spider lilies are, you know, special.
they are "flowers of the other shore", plants of the death realm. so, uhm... what exactly does Dainichi Mikoshi do? since Enkanomiya is at the intersection of three realms maybe it sort of... nudges the place towards a specific realm? rather then simply being a very big flashlight.
also why does Dainichi Mikoshi light scare vishaps away? they are creatures of the light realm and non-artificial sun doesn't seem to scare them, so what exactly is happening there? what in the abyss did the priests build?
(also I love how in the language of flowers spider lily means "may we never meet again". the sun children really just said "do not bother us", huh?)
also I missed the Gateway Offering event but apparently at some point Danichi Mikoshi was... a tree? hello?
who forgot to weed out the Irminsul sapling and why is it an invasive species

ok this is. completely basically crack but like.
is giovanni (in the new-ish event) sampo?????
because.
Tumblr media
Elation. it was like, really heavily implied last time we saw sampo at the end of belobog stellaron crisis, that he was a part of the Masked Fools, aka followers of Aha, The Elation.
and in sampo’s story, it’s implied that he. dressed up as a woman. convincingly. and he wasn’t called out on his voice, so he can definitely change his voice, too.
and he even has a mask— to play at the eccentric billionaire who funds a game on a whim. that seems like something he would do just for amusement.
and it starts on belobog, too. and sampo does have ways to get to other world— the joke bomb he sent with a signature proved that.
i forgot to take a screenshot, but pela + serval also say that he told them to not tell march and trailblazer who the really good player was (might be him) because : “adding an element of mystery to the story” and what story? our story, our game. what is that doing? breaking the fourth wall. who, aside from trailblazer, breaks the fourth wall?
sampo.
but why???? but have followers of the elation ever had reasons for what they do??? zhongshan (unshackled on luofu mission) did what she did just because. didn’t plan it out or anything, saw a chance, decided it was funny, and pulled trailblazer along to play her tune
anyway if he isn’t that’s fine but if he is that’ll be so funny.

Ok I’ve been thinking about a lot of possibilities for the Fontaine archon quest since 4.0 came out and after seeing the 4.1 trailer again I’m even more convinced about this one so here, have one of my crack theories/predictions for Fontaine:
By the end of the archon quest I think Neuvillette will become the new hydro archon.
Okokok… I know this seems crack and that every source we have states that Furina is the hydro archon but hear me out!!!
Firstly, I don’t think Furina is going to die… her line in the 4.1 trailer is most likely a red herring to get us hyped for the new update but I do think that by the end of the archon quest she will step down from her role as the archon.
It would be interesting to see first hand how a new archon is appointed since we haven’t seen it directly yet and what better moment to do it but right at the mid point of the overarching story, in the nation of justice, the one geographically closest to Celestia.
It would be thematically fitting for her caracter, too!
Like, picture it: it's the end of the archon quest, everything is kinda back to normal now but the Fatui got the gnosis, because of course they get the gnosis, and the people of Fontaine can no longer believe in the spectcle of the old judical system Furina put in place and there needs to be a new way to judge people because it's very likely that the Oratrice is either powered by the gnosis (which we can agree is no longer here) or it's been broken during the events of the quest.
We all called how Fontaine will probably have a "french revolution" theme in it's storyline so the status quo of the nation needs to be radically changed for that to happen and what is more radical than the archon who's seen by her people as little more than a mascot rather than a god, the god of justice who constantly remarks how she can judge even the other gods to be judge incapable of her current role and removed from it.
Like, look, I really really love Furina but she's not being presented as the Archon of her region by the narrative, not so far at least.
Look at the other archons for comparison:
Venti is a hands-off type of ruler but it's still cleary implied how he's powerful and capale of dealing with a crysis and how he cares for his people.
Zhongli has always been depicted as regal and wise, caring and farsighted. True, his actions may have tested his people but that was the point, it was a controlled test and they were never truly in danger. He's probably the most ideal definition of a god we have in game so far.
Ei was more incompetent in her role as a ruler but it came from a place of grief and even in her role as an antagonist she's always been treted with the reverence her position as an archon requires, praising her strengts while still showing us her shortcomings.
Nahida is the most inexperienced and yet the wisest. She's been shown ready and willing to take up the mantle of her predecessor.
What have we seen Furina portrayed as by comparison? A clueless kid trying to fill shoes too big for her.
She's liked by her people but not revered, she's more of an idol or celebrity rather than a diety.
The people of Mondstandt might not worship Venti but they certaily revere Barbatos; the people of Liyue might just admire the mortal Zhongli but they definitely revere Morax; the people of Inazuma might disagree with the Raiden Shogun but they revere Baal (or rather Beelzebul) and the people of Sumeru undeniably revere Buer (Rukkhadevata who?).
From what we've seen, it doesn't seem like the people of Fontaine revere Focalors much, but they rather seem to worship the concept of justice she gave them.
But who is the one actually implementing and applaying the concept of justice in the tryals?
The Oratrice?? Maybe, but I would argue that the one that grants fainess and impartiality to the trials is Neuvilette.
He's so devoted to fairness that he'll follow the procedures despites his personal feelings about them, and the people of Fontaine keep him in high reagards because of his impartiality (and because the oratrice always confirms his sentences but still you get what I mean)
We've all agreed, from the moment he first graced our screens, that he felt more of the Archon that Furina does. If anything he reminds me of how Zhongli has been portrayed. Like, the regal but kind air about him? The "contellation: ????" and the "????: hydro" in his drip marketing? Implying that he doesn't use a vision??
Sure those might be more hints to him being the Hydro Dragon (not confirmed yet but highly likely at this point) but they still make you think of the archons don't they?
But the crowing evidence that meke me go "Yep!!! This might not be so crack after all!" was the 4.1 trailer.
Let's start with his kit. Doesn't it remind you of the hydro traveller? Granted we don't know about Furina's kit yet and hers might resemble Traveller's kit in other ways, but usually the traveller has a kit that can be seen as a weaker version of the archon of the region:
Anemo has the skill that resembles Venti's burst and it focuses on crowd control like Venti's kit does
Geo can summon geo constructs that resembles Zhongli's even if in a less refined form
Elecro has a burst that does coordinated electro attacks like Raiden's skill and it focuses on energy management like Raiden
Dendro can apply the element from off-field with their burst while Nahida does so with her skill (this might be the one that resebles the archon least tbh but it still works!)
Neuvillette seems to share the sourcewater droplet mechanic with the traveller and his charged attack seems to be a more refined version of the traveller's hold skill. Awfully familiar to the other archons-traveller comparisons right?
But the nail in the coffin for me was this line we hear in the trailer:
"You will see much in the human world. From the delightful to the depressing, and one day when you have dwelt among humanity long enough, you will be placed to bring judgement over all as a spokesperson for Fontaine's past."
Ok if this doesn't scream "I'll leave you in charge, you'll do great sweetie! Have fun!!" I don't know what else could it be lol.
No but seriusly now.
Sure we don't know who is speaking or even if they are speaking to Neuvillette or someone else and it could be a big misdirection just for the trailer but to me this reads as Egeria (the former hydro archon) speaking to the hydro dragon, which it's heavily implied to be Neuvillette.
To borrow from Ashikai (great content creator for lore and theories, go follow her on Youtube and twitter if you don't know her already), they might have been friends or lovers in the past and built together what would become modern Fontaine. IDK man, they just really give me a Guili vibe, tragic relationship (romantic or platonic is up for interpretation) that just reverberates trough the centuries.
Now those lines could also imply his role as Cheif Justice but it would be fitting to me if he became the archon, at least untill Furina matures enough to take up the mantle once again when she's finally ready for it.
Maybe we can have a dual archon situation like Inazuma had when Makoto was still alive, with Neuvillete taking the active role of getting stuff done while Furina improves her understanding of justice and she takes up the pubblic face of the system.
Or something IDK lols.
Oh boy this goy super long sorry!
Uhm.... so yeah Otter man for Hydro Archon 2023 you guys!!
