Jin

Jin isn’t interested in playing when you first start. He says it’s not really his kind of game. But pretty soon, he has a copy of his own and is parked next to you on the couch, arguing aloud with Tom Nook, that tyrant. Jin is king of his island, chasing villagers he doesn’t like with nets - maybe they’ll take a hint and leave. Mainly enjoys collecting, trying to finish his museum, and flower breeding.

The places you play the most are in bed and on the couch in Yoongi’s studio. Many nights Yoongi comes home after a long day, crawls into bed alongside you and says he’s going to sleep, but ends up watching you play until his mind is quiet and he drifts off. You often hear him humming the game’s background music as he potters around the house, not even aware that he’s doing it.

Hoseok

Once you introduce Hobi to Animal Crossing, you can’t pull him away for days on end. “But my flowers need watering and I need to check my shops and I have to talk to my favourite neighbours so they don’t think I’m abandoning them!” What about abandoning me, you point out. “We can play together! Just don’t run through my flowers.” He’s dead serious.

Namjoon

Your boyfriend Namjoon comes in very handy when Redd comes around. Who needs to search up a guide on which paintings are real or fake when you have an art enthusiast in the house? He doesn’t mind either, he enjoys the challenge and is proud that you think he’s so smart. He thinks the game is cute and sometimes watches you play when he doesn’t feel like doing anything.

Jimin

Jimin would play only because you do. When he has a lot of downtime the two of you squish together on the bed and play, visiting each other’s islands and taking pictures of your characters doing silly things together, swimming and watching the shooting stars. When he hasn’t played for a while because he is busy, he complains and pouts about the amount of weeds covering his island.

Taehyung

Tae thinks all the ugly villagers are cute. You look up how to get rid of the ones you don’t want on your island, and he is offended. How could you plot the removal of his new best friend Barold? He hates shaking trees because he is constantly being stung by bees. Always asking you for emergency Bells to buy furniture that he wants before it disappears from the store.

Jungkook

Spends more time playing Happy Home than he spends on his own island. He gets so into designing elaborate interiors for his pixel friends - every detail from lighting to ambience, it all has to be just right. Honestly, he’s racked up more hours than you have, and when you’re not playing yourself you’re more than likely watching him and trying not to be jealous of his digital decorating talents.

Gentle Introductions

The wind gently whistled through the trees that created a barrier around the meadow, blocking the two small bodied people from the rest of the world.

“I can’t help but feel as though we’ve forgotten something.” Muichiro said into the calm air as a bird flew overhead. Amari smiled slightly as she felt the crown of her and Muichiro’s heads rub against each other while both sets of their eyes were fixed skywards. There definitely couldn’t be a more picture perfect setting in her mind,

It was quiet in this slice of heaven that she’d found for the two of them. She had the one she loved most closest and he was safe, she couldn’t understand how she could be forgetting anything.

“Hikaru! Watch out!” A familiar voice rang through the silent air as the peaceful white clouds above her disappeared. And the air left her lungs.

“Ohmygoshimsosorry!” Amari heard a flurry of words thrown together but could hardly understand any of them as the mass of a purple human being made its way off of her and stood. She sat up to catch her breath, her eyes adjusting to the new person, ‘Hikaru’, now standing in front of her as Rengoku, the one who’s shout she’d heard before, caught up to the unfamiliar corps member.

She turned to see Muichiro had also sat up and was staring at her, his expression as unblinking as ever, as if watching to see how she would approach this. She merely sighed and tapped the top of his hand, slowly intertwining their fingers as they stood together. She still wasn't used to being allowed to touch him this way. She gave the Flame Hashira a suspicious look and placed her other hand on top of the hilt of her sword.

“Who's your pet?” Muichiro almost passed out. Even he knew to ask with a bit more grace than the way she just had. Hikaru’s face turned a deep shade of red, out of embarrassment or anger she wasn't really sure, as Rengoku merely laughed and wrapped his arm around Hikaru's waist.

“Pet? No, girl, this is my boyfriend!” It was at that moment she remembered the letter from Rengoku that morning proposing the idea of a double date, an introduction and celebration. Hikaru had just made rank Kinoto and Rengoku wanted to celebrate their relationship.

“I said sorry too.” Hikaru grumbled into Rengokus side. Amari hummed as the memories slowly drifted in and out with her, not really minding the presence of the violet haired boy anymore.

“So…Beetle Breathing?” She asked awkwardly. She honestly didn't know how else to start a conversation. Hikaru and Amari stared at each other for a moment.

“Smoke Breathing?” She rolled her eyes before pulling Muichiro back to the ground, laying his head in her lap as she leaned against a tree.

“I just wanted to get to know you, since you’ll be around Rengoku. It’s a self taught style, right?” He nodded hesitantly, unsure if he was being made fun of. “That’s really impressive. It takes a strong spirit and willpower to master a self taught breathing technique.” Amari flashed him a relaxed smile before returning to her usual plain look. Should he give her a hug? They’d only just met…

“I mean, I only really learned it because I couldn’t master Insect Breathing…so it’s not really that impressive…” He gave himself an awkward laugh before dropping his hands in his lap.

“He’s too hard on himself!” Kyojuro spoke up suddenly, and loudly, startling the two younger ones, but if he noticed he didn’t pause. “The more intricate that the breathing styles become, the more difficult they are to master. That means that you are well on your way to becoming a formidable opponent! To a demon anyways.” He finished with a reassuring thigh rub while Muichiro and Amari both sat nodding.

“We should make flower crowns.” Amari said suddenly. Muichiro began picking random flowers and weeds without argument while Hikaru looked at her with a confused expression.

“It sounds cute, but why? Oooo dragonfly!” He shouted, causing Rengoku to smile with a shake of his head as he wached his beautiful partner take off after the winged creature. He couldn’t help but admire him in the fading sunset light.

As he and Hikaru began to chase each other around, laughing and playing some random game of tag, Amari merely began to hum a quiet lullaby to herself as she watched them play. She watched Muichiro lie back down as he relaxed into her warmth and watched her hands intricately twine the flowers stems together.

“So what do you think of him?” He asked her as she held the crown out towards him. He nodded and sat up a bit, allowing her to place it on his head while she shrugged in response to his question.

“Why does it matter what I think?” Laughter rang in the background as Hikaru tackled Rengoku to the ground. They watched the two roll around for a minute before Mui answered again with a more insistent tone in his voice.

“Amari…” She sighed as she began weaving flower stems again. She didn’t want to admit it to herself but in the short time she’s seen and known him, she’s actually grown quite fond of Hikaru.

“I think that he’s a wonderful match for Rengoku and I think that his breathing style is a beautiful reflection of that. I think that he’s sweet…” She held the second unfinished crown, comparing it to her head for a moment before continuing. “I think it’ll be fun learning to be friends.” A soft smile crossed her face as the words left her lips before it was her normal flat expression as she went back to focusing on her crown and threading the stems.

“Kyo, can you cut this side of the forest in half with your Total Concentration Breathing?”

“I’m not sure, shall we find out?” Muichiro met her gaze for a long moment before hurrying over to where they were standing facing the forest that hid their sanctuary.

Things would be a bit more interesting for the four of you from here on out at least.

Brambles pt. 2

FIRST

Raz perks up and offers, “It seems like he’s around a lot more these days, though.

“He is!” Lili agrees as a tangle of vines agitate in front of her. One of them lashes out with a “SNAP”. She barely ducks in time. Drawing complicated movements with one hand and pressing the other to her temple, she attempts to break up the tangle. She looks a little more angry than focused. “It wasn’t just what she said, either. It was the way she was glaring at him. Like he’s nothing! And he just stood there and took it!” She pulls her TK hand through the weeds with a loud “CHOP” that breaks them up for good. Unfortunately, a flower patch with large triangular leaves gets caught in the action and is torn to shreds. Her TK hand disappears as she goes over to assess the damage. She cradles one of the mangled flowers sadly in her hand. “I didn’t mean to get so mad. It just slipped out. She looked so… betrayed. Next thing I knew, we were in a giant fight that went nowhere. And now, she’s probably up there fighting over taking me away.”

A quiet “...Jeez” comes from the other side of the hedge.

Lili folds her arms and stares into the ruined flower as it dangles from its bent stem.

“Maybe I should just go with her.”

Raz turns his head as if to face her as he shakes plant mush from his sheers.

“Come on, Lili. You love being a Psychonaut.”

“That’s the problem!”

“Huh?” He turns around all the way. His TK hand and shears disappear.

“Things feel so much easier on missions, y’know? We’re going out and righting wrongs, kicking ass, helping people. There’s always a plan going in. Even if it goes off the rails, it’s not the end of the world.” She makes broad emotive gestures as she paces through the grass until she runs out of steam. “Real life is so much harder to… fix. She parks herself on a big soft bush next to the hedge that supports her weight like a beanbag. There’s a garden ornament in the hedge shaped like an eye. Maybe just a convenient hole to put a hose through, but it’s just big enough for Raz to squeeze his torso through to the other side. He stays quiet and listens.

“Sometimes I don’t even want to go back. Is that screwed up?” She asks him with genuine worry in her eyes.

Raz makes an unconfident face and shrugs.

“You are asking Mr. Runaway.”

Lili lets her head fall back on the leaves like a stone. Raz searches for something better to say.

“But,” he finally adds, “I don’t think that’ll happen to you. You don’t have to fix it alone.”

This gets Lili to sit up.

“I get why she’s mad,” Lili says contemplatively. “We were always close when I was little. All we had was each other.”

She pictures a brightly-rendered tapestry with her younger self and her mother holding hands. They’re engulfed in flame, protected from layers of interlocking leaves that surround them. Her mother is red. Lili is pink. It’s all a little abstract in a Celtic way.

“But having your dad around is important to you, isn’t it?” Raz interjects.

“Of course it is!” Lili states tersely.

Raz goes on optimistically.

“And it’s not like your mom is really losing you. I call the circus all the time! You don’t have to be physically there to be close to someone.”

He pictures a vibrant circus poster style vignette of the Earth hanging in space with twinkling stars. Via cartoony telecommunication balloons, Raz and his family wave at each other from opposite sides of the globe. His family all look happy to see him… except his older brother Dion.

Lili’s growing frustration boils over, and she puts her head in her hands with her brows screwed together.

“That’s not how it works for us!”

Silence.

She looks up and sees that Raz isn’t in the hole in the hedge anymore.

“Raz?”

She puts her head through the hole to investigate and gasps in shock. Raz is being held high overhead, tied up and gagged by the stinging prehensile weeds. Erratic threads of orange energy shoot out of his head, but bounce weakly against the vines. The more he wriggles, the more it hurts, and he can’t concentrate.

“Hang on, I’ll get you down!” Lili calls from her side of the hedge. She summons a TK hand and sends it Raz’s way. The weeds react quickly and throw several strands up to tie the hand down. She strains against it. As she does, a smaller cluster of them crawl up her leg. She exclaims in surprise and sweeps her leg with anger and force. The weeds wear and snap in a flurry of nettles.

“Killer psychic weeds. Are you kidding me?!”

She ejects with a levitation jump as more weeds reach for her. She goes into a montage of fighting, using every psychic trick she has. Shields, invisibility, time dilation. Anything to gain distance. But the scrape gets closer every time.

“Die! Die! Die!”

Her frustration grows exponentially until it all flows down into her hand for one mean punch.

“YOU SUCK!!!”

She throws it, and an earthshaking “POW” fills the air as a blazing fireball rockets from her arm in the direction of the tangle of weeds holding her friend hostage.

Friday Evening

I’ve ranted, raved, and cried. You probably don’t want to hear it anymore. I know we’re all saturated with bad news and you didn’t come here for that. SO...although I will continue to rant and rave to my elected officials and donate to candidates who will work for change, back to our regularly schedule programming. I have a bird. Well, I had a bird. I named him Jeffrey, but the call of the wild was stronger than his love for me. Let me start at the beginning. Yesterday I was in the front yard prepping the flower bed for spring planting. It had gotten weedy and ugly because we really didn’t have much of a winter. Earlier this week I was thrilled that iris bulbs that a dear friend sent to me last year were blooming. There’s a very sweet story behind them and I’ll get to that too.

Oh, happy day! This made my heart so light! Thank you, Dina. Anywhoooo, I was on my hands and knees, pulling weeds and singing along to Three Dog Night when I heard a loud THUNK! I turned just in time to see a bird bounce off the basketball goal of the house across the street. Poor fella hit the street and fluttered around a bit before getting still. I felt awful for him and sort of kept one eye on him while I continued weeding. I battled with my urge to rush over and save him and the dread of seeing a dead bird. Then I realized that if he was alive I couldn’t just leave him there for a car to hit or a cat to torture. I walked into the street and saw that he was very much alive, so I scooped him up and assured him I wouldn’t hurt him. He thanked me by pooping in my hand.

I didn’t mind. I figured it was either the poop of death, the poop was scared out of him, or he’d just enjoyed a nice lunch at my bird feeder. He didn’t seem embarrassed, but that might be the effects of the concussion. I sat in the sunshine with him and we talked. He was a good listener, but seemed to have some short term memory issues. He slowly started to perk up and his little chirps became more inquisitive. I stroked him and kind of checked his wings and legs and everything seemed to be in working order. This was when Stanley, the tabby from down the street (I don’t know his real name, he’s Stanley to me) strolled onto the porch. Interesting timing, Stanley. I have a little video that I’ll try to post. Moving right along, Jeffrey showed steady improvement and over time hopped from my hand to my leg, then to my shoulder. We bonded.

Don’t judge me, I was working in the garden. I sent this picture to my boys.

Then I sent it to my sister.

I was seeing a delightful trend in the responses. What granny doesn’t want to feel like a princess for a day? Then I sent it to MIckey.

He does not think I’m a princess, he assumed that I had somehow lured or tricked that bird. I have to admit, he’s merely judging from past experience. Of course, I later told him the truth about the poor bird with the traumatic brain injury that I saved from certain death.

After quite a while porch sitting with Jeffrey he hopped to the back of my chair, and then to the porch railing before flying away.

I don’t regret one minute of our brief but meaningful relationship and I’m sure that he feels the same. I’m hoping he’ll spread the word about the nice lady on Kathryn Court and tell the other birdies not to poop on my car. Other than acting as an avian EMT, I’ve been finishing up the changes to the downstairs powder room. It’s nearly ready for a reveal and I’m so tickled with the results. The new faucet arrives tomorrow and I’ve got .a piece of art to hang over the commode yet. Almost finished! I probably won’t post for two or three days - the Edgewater gang is coming for the weekend, we’ll celebrate Mickey’s birthday on Sunday (even though it’s not until the 4th), and we’re spending the day in D.C. on Monday. We’ll take in the cherry blossoms, visit the African-American Museum, and hopefully take a turn in the National Gallery. Might not post until Monday night or Tuesday morning. Until then, stay safe, stay well, keep your chin up. Sending out loads of love-

Cauldron Part 4

“I was just trying to get closer to them. If we don't get closer we’ll never be able to get the job done.” Asher groaned.

The three hunters walked out of their school building where a sleek black car was waiting for them at the back of the parking lot. "Well, you were taking too long. And why do you get to have all the fun?" Bianca crossed her arms and slid into the car right next to Asher. Asher said nothing as they drove. They passed shops and houses, cute little neighborhoods where people lived completely unaware of the danger they were in. Living in blissful ignorance to what monsters were creeping around their lovely town. They drove until they pulled up to an open metal gate that towered into the misty autumn sky. The house that towered behind it was beautiful but old. It was completely over grown, covered by weeds and vines. The locals called it La Casa de Brujas. The house had an alarmingly strange history and it showed. People usually stayed away from this house. It was a hunting ground for beings of the supernatural. Teenagers go there to see if the legends are true and if they come back at all, they never want to go back to that house again. It stood tall just under the tall red and gold trees. The white chipped paint was spooky enough but that didn't stop the three of them from going inside. It wasn't just a house though, it was a mansion. Ash could imagine the parties that would take place in the large hall. Large, full of life and light (he hoped). He could imagine all the women in beautiful gowns, being held close by their dance partners, spinning gracefully to elegant music. But now it was just an old, dusty tomb of history and memories.

The cracked marble floor was no longer glossy, covered in leaves and dust, but soon enough it would be restored to its former glory. In exactly a week, from midnight to midnight, the ghouls and ghosts would gather in the large hall. At that moment the line between the living and dead would break, all the monsters would stop hiding, and their family name would be known as more than just fiction. Heros, they would call them. What is myth will become real and all other hunters would bow under the name Van Helsing.

“Well, I couldn't have a party here but that’s just my opinion.” Ash’s little brother said.

“Damien, will you stop messing around and come help us scout?” Bianca’s voice was just above a whisper but the annoyance still rattled in her voice. Damien let out a scoff and crossed his arms. “What are we even supposed to be looking for? This place is a dump. No one has been in here for centuries.” Asher rolled his eyes at his little brother and continued walking into the large ballroom. The windows were blown in resulting in a glass-covered floor. Chandeliers hung low, leaves and debris littered the ground, and there wasn't a single clean spot. It was all dark, dead, and empty. Just when they were about to quit and head back empty-handed, Bianca was gone.

Asher’s call almost echoed up stairs to the second story internal balcony that lined the room and had pictures and bookshelves covering every inch of the walls. Asher and Damien ran up the stairs to find her eyes glued to a thick page of a heavy book. It was about the width of Asher’s leg but she could hold it just fine. She was completely enamored by the picture of a crown on the top of a woman’s head. She was pale and boney but had eyes the color of rubies.

Her hair was delicately braided and placed over her shoulder, her lips parted just the slightest bit with the corners turned up into a smirk. On her head was a beautiful crown made of white crystals and small purple flowers. They were held together by a silver circlet and little black beads about the size of berries. “Ash, doesn't this look like the portrait that your dad has in his study?” Asher took the book and shoved it into her bag. “We need to get back to town, it's getting dark.” His warm fingers laced with hers sending a shock up her arm and behind her cheeks. The hairs on her arms stood straight up at the feeling. They ran back outside and the second they got to the porch the heavy doors slowly closed themselves with a large, booming, slam. “Let’s get this book back to your dad.” Bianca tried not to run away from the house. She walked fast, maintaining her tall confident image. Asher smirked at the small quiver in her voice.

I feel like the cbd gummies have crack in them or something addictive. I keep thinking take 100mg a day. And then I'm like bro... this 40$ monthly cost that's with 20% off... it's like 50$ with shipping and no discount a month for 50MG... will become like weed then I'll have no disposable income....

I mean but I keep thinking take more. Just do 100mg a day. I didn't feel like this on the tinctures...but I was only taking 15MG.

The gummy wasn't that good but it wasn't bad tasting... but it wasn't like idk let's say candy. I can't think of a candy I really like atm...

Idk if my brain is like omg SWEETS even if it's not that great tasting. Or if my brain is like WOAH this cbd is doing something and more of it could do more.

Idk, I don't want to spend hundreds on cbd. I've been looking at flower and this can turn into a very high monthly cost... I would buy a vape if they were sold anywhere. They are cleaner and smooth and I like them.

I really want to vape my weed cartridges... I'm starting to think Maybe- at some point I got to accept that I'm not going to get any better than this. Like if I start to smoke some weed, and it gets worse it will very slowly and marginally get worse over time, it won't go full swing. And it was getting better slowly over time when I was smoking.

Also I know the warning signs- mental pictures and the voice getting more intelligent, louder, more creative, etc.

Hello all and welcome to Blush and Blunts! My name is Scarlett Rose and this is my first try at blogging so bear with me as I navigate this throughout the next couple weeks. I wanted to make a blog that anyone can come to and get some nice reviews on food, movies and tv shows and of course...WEED! Now this particular one we chose was the only strain they had in stock at this time and it was an indica dominant hybrid, not one of my favorites but was wanting to try it because come on....its Snoop! Anyways, this strain was called Strawberry Coffin and it was a total weight of 3.5 grams (1/8) and it was $58 in total. This was probably the most expensive flower we have gotten recently for such a small amount, we normally buy Ric Flair Sativa 1/8 and its usually $25 which isnt that bad. Again we mainly rely on pre rolls at this time because its the most affordable all around.

Burn time for the Pop ones are about 20-25 minutes depending so keep that in mind too.

As I get more advanced with this blogging and more used to it, I want to be able to do reviews on movies while we are high, movies and tv shows in general, food reviews whether thats cooking or buying new food from the stores and fast food places and of course the bud and our thoughts on different brands/strains etc. Soon I want to be able to post pictures, share recipe ideas and other fun things! The truth is that I just want to decorate and turn this place into a home and I can’t. Still waiting for floors, appliances are arriving one at a time, first came the frig...

When she got out of the car, her ballgown sparkling in the sun, and stretched out her little hands holding those flowers...well, I’ll sit on the floor until I’m 80 for moments like that. We had the best day. Yesterday, because I can’t do much inside the house, I tackled the flower beds. I use the term flower beds loosely, there was nothing but monkey grass and weeds. I left some of the monkey grass as a border on one side, but everything else was ripped out. I popped in a few plants, but it all looks a bit pitiful right now. I wanted to put some sort of evergreen shrub along the front porch, preferably yew of another soft plant. BUT, I ran up to Walmart for a couple of items and thought I’d peek at their garden center while I was there. They had some really healthy Japanese Holly shrubs for $22 each. I was poking around wondering if I should get three or four when the nice garden guy said, “Those are going on clearance tomorrow, but I can mark them down for you today if you need them.” I asked what the clearance price would be, he responded “Twelve dollars”, and I said that yes indeed I did need them. So I picked out three for what I probably would have paid for one at a nursery. Hooray!

They’ll look dinky when I get them in, but I’m building this garden from scratch and it takes time. Like I said the other day, I can probably relax and enjoy it all after three summers. Maybe ten.

Another spot that give me heartburn is the back yard. Jamie spotted poison ivy in the treeline, so I don’t go anywhere near it. I blow up like a puffer fish if I see a picture of poison ivy, so I’m extra careful. She brought some stuff that they use to kill poison ivy at work, if it’s good enough for the Smithsonian, it’s good enough for me. As an organic gardener I’m choosing to look the other way while a nuclear bomb is dropped on the treeline. The bad stuff has to be eradicated to enjoy the yard. Necessary evil. The previous homeowners also fancied a campfire. We all love a crackling fire in the fall, right? But they marked off an area by filling it with rocks. They never bothered to put anything down to prevent weeds from growing through those rocks, so we’re back to that hobo campfire again. Now I have to rake up all of these little rocks and we’re hoping we can seed the yard before it gets too hot up here. It’s mostly weeds right now and it’s just plain ugly.

We wanted less yard to mow and care for, but we’d still like it to be pretty. See our neighbor’s perfect yard? I’m so jealous. They’re probably hoping we work a miracle so they don’t have to look at this mess anymore. I told Mickey that I’d like to put a fence or barrier of some sort at the treeline. Then I’ll dig a bed along the front and throw down some mulch, maybe put in a couple of flowering shrubs - roses or azaleas. Add a bird bath or a bird feeder and it’ll look like a different place.
