Jason Todd x reader
Jason only recently started getting along with his family, by that I mean they didn't immediately kill each other when they see each other on the field.
And while he was happy to be able to talk to his family, he hasn't been able to take to the person he missed most, you.
You had been avoiding him, he was positive you knew who he was under the mask. Every time you saw him as RedHood, you would turn the otherway and disappear.
If Jason had to be honest it was pissing him off. All he wanted in the world was to see you and hold you in his arms until your both old and grey. But he couldn't because you kept running from him.
The closest he got to you since he died was when he was following you.
He remembered how you noticed his presence and how you turned around to look at him. You two held eye contact for what seemed like eternity, and even under your domino mask he swore you cast him the smallest of smiles.
He sighed thinking of the memory taking off his helmet and shaking out his hair, much like what a dog would do.
"What's wrong Jaybird," Dick spoke up from behind him.
If it was possible Jason would shove Dick off the roof and let him plumit to his death. But sadly he couldn't because as much as Dick annoyed him he still loved his big brother, not that he would ever tell Dick that.
"How'd you find me," Jason asked.
"Ya'know that we were supposed to patrol together tonight right?" Dick responded.
Jason have to turn around to know that he was smiling, he could practically hear the smile in his voice.
"Yeah, I know"
"So you tried to bail on me"
"Yep"
Dick laughed and sat down next to Jason, who had the smallest traces of a smile on his face.
"No but seriously, how did you find me"
"You're they only adult in this entire city that has a favorite gargoyle"
Jason shook his head and laughed, turning to the said gargoyle on the other side of him.
"Yeah I guess your right"
Dick paused for a moment, thinking off a way he could word his next sentence without scaring Jason off.
"Jay....is there...something you want to talk...about?"
Jason stopped twirling his white strands of hair, a nervous habit he picked up after the Lazarus Pit.
"I....have you talked to y/n?" He spoke, a nervous wavering in his voice. He heard Dick taking in a sharp breath.
"She's...she's good. Busy but good"
He stopped for a moment thinking.
"Look it's not my place to tell...but she's had a lot on her hands lately. I'll talk to her....meet me at midnight tomorrow in the harbor warehouse, I'll tell you then"
Jason was kinda mad he had to wait, but he wanted answers. Jason huffed putting his helmet back on, he nodded and jumped off the roof. Dick sighed and followed his baby brother.

That following morning Dick walked into the cave partially regretting what he said to Jason, knowing damn well it was gonna be hard to convince you.
'Speak of the devil' Dick thought.
You had just walked into the batcave carrying a small child on your hip.
The child had wavy ebony hair that went down to his chin and crystal blue eyes. Dick couldn't help but think that he looked almost identical to Jason when he was younger.
He still remembers when y/n brought Aslan home, that was the kid's name, everyone was so sad when Jason died that no on noticed
y/n's 7 month long absence until she came home from the hospital with a baby.
She never told anyone who the father was, but no one needed to be told. It was pretty obvious, the timeliness matched up perfectly and he looked exactly like him. Aslan was a exact replica of his father, and he was spoiled like you couldn't believe by his grandfather and uncles.
He was mischievous and sarcastic for a 5 year old and loved reading. Most of the books in Wayne Manor were already ready by him, all of the age appropriate ones that is.
"HEY Little Bird!" Dick exclaimed towards the balcony. Both you and Aslan looked down towards the voice. You with a small smile and Aslan with giddy excitement.
"UNCLE DICK!", the small child was trying to wiggle out of your hold.
You laughed setting him down, only for Aslan to run into Dick's open arms. The latter picked him up and put him on his shoulders.
Duck turned his head to the 5 year old, "Isn't it a little early for you to be up Little Bird." Said child didn't get to respond for you were already going to answer.
"It is, but he wasn't going back to sleep until he saw you get back," you shook your head at his stubbornness. "Plus he only just got up" you added.
"Well let's put you to bed then," Dick spoke to Aslan. The child wined and shook his head, "but I want to stay up with you."
"Nope you promised your mother that you would go to bed after you saw me, I'll even tuck you in"
Aslan didn't look to happy but nonetheless he agreed.

"Goodnight Little Bird"
"Goodnight Lovebug"
As soon as Dick closed the door you turned to him. "Now, what did you want to talk about Dick"
"I- ya'know what nevermind, anyway so I met with Jason-" Dick didn't get to finish his sentence because you were walking away.
"Come on y/n you can't avoid him forever your going to have to tell him he has a kid eventually."
You stopped, you knew this day was coming. You already knew that you had to.
You loved Jason, but you loved your child more. You didn't want Aslan to grow up without a father, but Jason wasn't ready.
He still was killing, the family knew he was trying but not his hardest. There were still murders pointed towards RedHood, Aslan didn't need to grow up with a murderer for a father.
But Dick was right, Jason at least deserved to know he had a kid. And deep down you wanted to hold Jason, hold him in your arms until you both are old and gray. ;)
Snapping you out of your thoughts Dick spoke, "he's been asking about you ya'know, and it's not my place to tell him about Aslan"
Dick stopped waiting for you to yell at him, when you didnt he continued, "I told him I would meet him at midnight tonight in the Harbor Warehouse, instead of me going you go. Tell him about Aslan and everything that's been going on."
You didn't respond, you only stood there silent. A couple seconds passed -ones that felt like eternity- until you spoke, "ok".
If everyone in the house wasn't sleep Dick wouldn't have heard you, but thankfully they were and he heard you.
He let out a lond relieved sigh, "good good, you won't regret it. Remember midnight tonight, Harbor Warehouse"
He hugged you and walked away.
Standing there in there hallway you were regretting your decision. "Oh my God Oh my God Oh my God Oh my God, what did I just agree to".
You sped walked to your room, opened the door, and flopped down on your bed. Sometimes you wished you didn't have Aslan at such a young age, for you yourself still felt like a child.
You wished you could just curl up into a ball and cry into someone like a baby. Not to have so many responsibilities. Not to have to take care of a child. Not to have to patrol every other night to keep the criminals at bay.
It was frustrating and you wish it would all just stop.

That night Jason waited anxiously in the warehouse, pacing back and forth under the broken glass ceiling.
Jason was playing with his fingers to substitute for twirling his white hair because he could take off his helmet.
If he wasn't actively starring at the floor he probably wouldn't have caught the shadow jump across the beams holding the broken glass ceiling.
Jason lighting fast reflexes turn his body to face you. You landed 5 or so meters away from him. Neither of you said a word. You still have the same suit you wore when you were both teenagers.
He admired the way your suit hugged your curves, how your cape draped over your shoulders, how your chest had gotten much larger.
You cleared your throat to get his attention. And successfully because not a second later his eyes -or what you assumed to be his eyes- snapped up to meet yours.
Your hand raised to take off your mask and lower your hood. Jason hadn't said a word since you arrived and it was making you more nervous that you'd like to admit.
"Jason?"
Next thing you knew you were being lifted off the ground. Jason had picked you up in a hug, at some point he had taken his helmet off. When you don't recall, but his face was out in the open.
And thats when you lost it. Jason set you down as you broke down in tears, letting all your bundled up emotions over the years out. Your body shook with sobs of sadness, anger, hurt, relief. Honestly you didn't know what you were feeling at this moment but whatever it was overwhelming you and opened the floodgates.
Jason pulled back to look at you. Your cries had calmed down, but a tear would escape every now and then.
This was when you got your first good look at Jason since you were teenagers. Your hand involuntarily moved up to his face, you stopped when Jason flinched back.
After a second or two you continued with your advance. Once your hand reached its destination you mumbled, "Oh Jason..."
"I know," he spoke in a soft voice his eyes trailing to the floor not looking you in the eyes, you had never heard him sound so vulnerable, "I'm disgusting"
"No Jason, never, you're still the handsome man I fell in love with", you said as your hand traced the scar that resembled a 'J' under his left eye.
A single tear left his eye as he looked back at you, the tear not able tofall far for your thumb was there to wipe it away. All while not losing eye contact, you guided his head towards you. He followed your lead and moved his head down infront of your face. You looked towards his scar and brought your lips to place a gentle kiss on it.
"Don't worry, it doesn't hurt anymore"
Your worry must have shown in your eyes. He let out a small chuckle and took hold of the hand still on his face and placed a lingering kissed to your palm.
He then turned you, slowly moving closer. His eyes flickering back and forth from your lips, "can i..." his Adam's apple bobbed up and down, "can I kiss you?"
You nodded your head, not able to get any words out.
"I'm gonna need words sweetheart"
You felt your face heat up, it amazed you how he could still make you flush.
"Yes", you said in the quietest whisper. And with that he closed the small gap between you two.
The kiss wasn't lustful, but sweet and gentle and full of passion. The passion of two lovers separated only to meet again with both equally different lives than before. Passion that was locked away for years only to be opened by the smallest of keys.
You could feel him smile against your lips, and as much as you didn't want to you, pulled away.
"I'm so sorry", you spoke the tears coming back, "I knew it was you the whole time, but I was scared and I-". You were cut off by Jason as he wiped away your tears.
"No I should be the one to apologize, I was a coward. I was afraid that you were gonna be mad at me, and I'm trying I really am. But I just I get so angry and...", he pulled away from the comfort of your embrace walking away. He didn't go to far and stopped only a couple feet away from you, turned away.
You didn't say anything, you only walk up behind him and took him in your arms.
"Jason there's....there's something I need to tell you", you spoke walking around to look him in the eye, "I...I have a kid".
Jason's felt his heart shatter, he backed away from you, a million questions were racing through his brain.
'Who is the father'
'How long before you moved on'
'Was it Dick'
'Is that what he wanted to tell me
You saw the gears turning in him head, you knew how he thought. Without thinking you blurted out the truth before you could think and Jason could run away.
"He's yours!", the words left your mouth before you knew what was happening. Pausing you waited for Jason to say something, when he didn't you looked up at him. His face was void of emotion except for his wide eyes indicating he was shocked.
"Please say something," you were scared. Scared he was going to leave you and leave you and Aslan all alone.
"How far along," Jason spoke after a minute of silence.
"What"
"How far along were you when..." He didn't finish. But you knew what he ment, how far along were you when he died.
You remembered the night you found out. You were so scared, being only 16 you knew your mother would shun you. But you were also somewhat happy, you'd always wanted children, but they were coming sooner than expected. You were also happy to tell Jason, he was always hanging around with the younger kids in Gotham, he was going to be a great father.
You were planning on telling him when he got back from Europe, you were so happy. Weeks passed before you went up to Bruce and asked him what was going on and where Jason was. When he told you the news your heart dropped, later deciding that you wouldn't tell the Wayne's about your pregnancy until you had the baby. This resulted in your temporary absence from Gotham.
"y/n", Jason snapped you out of your thoughts.
"About 2½ months, I only found out when you were away and when Bruce told me what happened I-" you stopped talking knowing that if you continued you would breakdown. Not that you hadn't already, your tears were flowing freely down your face there was no use in trying to stop them.
You hadn't been looking at Jason since he first asked the question, to afraid he would be mad at you for keeping this from him.
He ended up doing quite the opposite, he walked forward and wrapped his arms around you. Encasing you in his strong hold he nestled his face into your neck and mumbled something you couldn't make out.
"Jason I can't hear you"
He pulled away still close enough to hold you in his arms and looked directly into your eyes, it felt as if he was starring straight into your soul.
"What's his name?" Jason spoke a small smile on his face, the same smile he shared with his son.
"Aslan"
Jason's smile only widened, "like th-". You cut him off "yes like the lion, Aslan Jason Todd-Wayne"
"Can I..I...can I see him"
"Yes but he won't be awake for a couple hours" you sent him a smile and kissed him on a scar right above his eyebrow, "for now let start patrol"
