Welcome back, Sara!!! For a fluffy Mike idea, maybe just a cozy rainy day spent at home with Mike and Abby? Like watching movies with cups of hot cocoa under a mountain of blankets, and all that jazz
Hi Logan ☺️☺️☺️ thanks for sending this in. I’m always afraid of writing fluff fics bc like everyone wants the smut, but it’s reassuring to have this put in lol
it’s a sunday and mike just so happens to have the day off. he’s been working long and hard hours and you convinced him to take the day off. you and abby are so excited; you two planned the whole day from the moment you woke up to the time it was time for abby to sleep. unfortunately, it’s rainy and a sudden wind chill swept through. none of you need to get sick and mike didn’t want to make making abby carry an umbrella, so you make the quick decision to stay in. abby’s a little disappointed, but you try to make up for it.
the first thing you and mike do in the morning is make a fort with abby. and not just a little four corners fort. no, she makes you cover the entire living room with blankets. even the tv was included! you and mike are dragged into some play-pretend games. for a lot of them mike’s forced to play some sort of villan.
“why can’t i play the hero, abby?” mike frowns. “because that’s her job!” abby points to you.
mike gives you a look and you shrug. “abby’s the director here. cant fight with the boss.”
mike rolls his eyes, wanting to get out of the humid blankets and sleep, but he knows how happy this makes abby. and even though abby is making him play the bad guy, he knows she means it out of love and he also loves getting to spend as much time with abby as he can. watching you act is pretty cute as well.
once abby gets bored of playing in her fort — which is like 3 hours later — she decides she wants to watch a movie.
“let’s clean up first, yeah?” mike suggests. “no! let’s keep the fort up to watch the movie!” abby says.
“abby, no. we had our fun with the fort. it’s time to turn the house back to normal,” mike says. “please say we can keep the fort up!” abby pouts as she looks up at you.
mike gives you a warning look, but you can’t say no to abby. “let’s just keep the fort up for the movie, yeah?”
abby squeals and wiggles back into the fort. mike glares at you. “she’s never going to want to take it down.”
“she will when it’s time for bed, which is hours away.” you step closer to him, gently putting your hand on his shoulder. “how about i pop some popcorn — the real stuff on the stove — and i make us some hot coca, okay?”
well, who was mike to turn down stove-popped popcorn and hot cocoa. he felt like a little kid again. it doesn’t help that you and abby’s pouty faces were ganging up on him. he sighs in defeat and nods, crossing his arms around his chest.
“fine, but after the movie, we will clean all this up, okay?”
“of course,” you nod. you turn to abby who is lit up with excitement. “can i pick the movie?”
“yep! do you want any popcorn?” you ask her. “yes. can you put m&ms in mine?” she asks. “you got it, babe,” you answer.
you three settle in the fort, abby laying on her stomach right in front of the tv. she chose “Lady and The Tramp”, which was one of her more enjoyable movie choices.
“mike, you’re kind of like the tramp,” abby comments, popping a handful of popcorn and m&ms into her mouth.
you begin to laugh but cover it up with a cough when mike shoots you a glare. “abby, that’s not very nice.”
“he knows it’s true,” she says, kicking her feet up and dangling them in the air. “And you’re like Lady.”
you glance at mike, a small smile on your face. you lean into him, your nose brushing against the scruff on his cheek. “i think what she’s trying to say is that we are perfect for each other.”
the tips of his ears turn pink. he wraps his arm around you, pulling you in so your head rests on his shoulder. “she could’ve said it differently, though.”
you giggle, “nah, i think it’s accurate.” he rolls his eyes, but there’s no denying the smile on his face and twinkle in his eye.
mike ends up falling asleep towards the end of the movie. his head rests on your chest, both arms around your waist to hold you close. your hands are in his hair, massaging his scalp while the credits roll.
“why is he so tired all the time?” abby pouts. “he works a lot,” you say. “but i’m sure he’ll wake up soon. why don’t you help me clean the fort up?”
“do i have to?” abby frowns. “i think mike would appreciate that,” you say.
“ugh, fine. but only if we can have pancakes for dinner.”
you grin and nod, “you got it.”
mike wakes up to the smell of chocolate chip pancakes. he twists and turns on the floor, the sizzle of bacon him bringing him into consciousness. he begins to open his eyes, his back beginning to ache from sleeping on the floor. he hears some giggling coming from the kitchen, sitting himself up on his elbow and peering over the couch. you’re at the stove, a spatula in your hand. abby’s sitting at the table, crayons littering the wood.
“look who’s up!” you exclaim. mike groans softly as he sits up, using the couch as a crutch to stand up. “i’m sorry i fell asleep. between the rain and the pillows —”
“shush,” you cut him off. he walks over to you, wrapping an arm around your waist, his fingers tracing sliver of skin on the small of your back that’s exposed. “i ruined our day.”
“no, you didn’t. right, abs?” you turn to her. “you did snore a lot, but you didn’t,” she says. you smile at mike, “see? all is well.”
“smells good.” he mumbles as he wraps both arms around your waist, placing his chin onto your shoulder.
“me or the food?” you glance at him with a teasing smile. he takes a not-so-nonchalant inhale of your skin. “both,” he answers.
“ew!” abby grimaces behind you two. you and mike both laugh and he presses a kiss to your cheek before pulling away. he brings some plates and silverware out, sitting across from abby and waiting for the food.
mike stares as you two discuss abby’s drawing. he can’t wipe the smiles off of his face. his life was never perfect and he knew it was never going to be, but if he could just keep this — keep you two — he would then be able to call it perfect.
“mike,” abby says with a little pout. “what’s up?” he asks.
“do you have to go back to work tomorrow?” she asks. “i do, but you also have to go back to school,” he states.
“i don’t want to,” she says. mike sighs, the calmness from his body fleeting. “you don’t have a choice, abby. i’m sorry.”
“i… i just mean… i want this day to last forever.”
his eyes widen and glance up at you. you’re rubbing her back soothingly, giving him an encouraging smile.
“maybe we can do something special for dinner again tomorrow,” you suggest. “we can watch a movie and even eat dinner on the couch.”
abby’s face lights up and she nods. “okay! can i pick the movie again?”
“only if you don’t compare me to a dog again,” mike says. abby giggles and puts a forkful of pancakes in her mouth before speaking again. “we’ll see,” she quips.
mike looks back at you, placing his hand inside of yours on the table. your feet slides up his calf, your eyes soft as you look over his face. his heart warms and for the first time in a while, he feels at peace.

Pairing : BF!Han Jisung x F!Reader TW : established relationship ; arguing ; panicked Jisung ; kind of angsty but mainly fluff ; a little suggestive at the end ; Word Count : 3.0k Request : @moon0fthenight : a hanji fic (angst cause its ur forte OFC) where you have a small argument with him, and so you give him space understandingly, but he misunderstands your intention and thinks that you are givjng silent treatment so breaks down with a panic attack and vents all his work struggle and you comfort him
“Thank you!” You chimed as you grabbed the carry out bag from the girl working the window, making sure it wouldn’t tip over before moving out of the drive-thru lane and heading back out on the road again.
Jisung and the rest of 3RACHA had been working late nights yet again, staying up until the crack of dawn trying to perfect the songs that would be coming out in the next album that hadn’t even been announced yet. They were always ahead, but you worried about them and their lack of rest. That’s just one of the reasons you were heading out to the studio right now, the scent of grease from the fast food filling your car, and while you knew it wasn’t the healthiest meal, you wanted it to be something quick that they could munch on, and then hopefully they’d all decide to just head on home and get some sleep when they were done eating.
Making your way into the building and over to the elevator, you clutched the bag in one hand and the cup holder in the other hand against your chest, hoping that you wouldn’t accidentally drop or spill any on your way to the studio. It was a surprise, you wanted the guys, especially Jisung, to know that you cared about them.
As you walked down the hallway, the soda in the cups sloshing against the plastic lids, you could hear them faintly talking behind one of the doors. The light of Chans computer slipped through the crack between the actual door and the frame, and you wondered just how focused they had been on working that they didn’t even shut the door all the way.
At least it would make it easier for you to get into the room, and you nudged the door with your hip to push it open further, flashing your brightest smile to the guys who all looked up at you with the most confused looks. “Jisung…” Changbin muttered to your boyfriend who sighed heavily before pushing himself up off the couch.
“It’s late… What are you doing here?” He asked as he walked over to you, eyeing the food that you were holding before his eyes moved back up to your face. It surely wasn’t the reaction that you were expecting, but you wrote it off as them just being tired.
You held up the food bag, your smile never faltering, although it felt like the guys in the room were less than happy that you had come in. “I brought you all some food, you’ve been working so hard. I just wanted to check up on you three…” You explained, finally setting the bag of food down on the little side table before placing down the cup holder as well. “I was wondering when you’d come home… I’m worried about you all.”
“Jisung…” Chan now said his name, more sternly this time as he swiveled his chair around, removing the headphones from his ears and dangling them around his neck. They were all staring at you, and the looks that you were getting from the three were a mixture of annoyance, irritation, and even a little bit of anger.
“Sorry, hyung…” Jisung mumbled, placing his hand on the small of your back and leading you out of the studio and back into the hallway. “You don’t have to check up on me. I’m not a baby.” Jisung said sharply once he had gotten you out of the room, and the words hit you a little harder than they probably would have if he had just said them over a call or through text. “If I’m not home, and I’m not answering your calls or your texts, then just assume I’m busy and don’t bother me. This is setting us back. You’re setting us back right now.”
You had gone out of your way to make sure they were fed, you had done it out of the kindness of your heart, because you cared about your boyfriend and you cared about his friends, and they were all looking at you like some sort of burden. It was one thing for Chan and Bin to look at you that way, you didn’t really care, but for your boyfriend to see you in that light, that was painful. “I was just… I was trying to make sure you ate… I wanted to make sure you were okay…” You whispered, trying to swallow down the lump that was forming in your throat.
Jisungs eyes were like daggers as he rolled them, shadowed in the low light of the dimly lit hallway. “I didn’t ask for that. You came here unannounced, we were doing good, we were almost finished. I just need some space, that’s all I’m asking for. Space and time to get done the things I need to do. You think you can manage to let me have that?”
While you hoped that he didn’t really mean the things that he was saying, you couldn’t be sure considering the fact that he sounded so serious right now. “Y-Yeah… I’m sorry…” Was all you could manage to say. What else could you say to that? You didn’t come here expecting an argument, you didn’t come here thinking that he’d be mad at you for surprising him. You had been completely sideswiped by his and the other guys' reactions, and all you could do was feel the pain from his words as you backtracked down the hallway, the sound of the door slamming shut echoing off the walls on either side of you.
Space… Time and space… That’s what he needed, and that’s what you’d give him. With much thought, you realized that he was just working hard, and maybe you were a little bit overbearing at times, but that’s just because you loved him, you cared about him. It was hard, but you’d give him what he needed so he and the guys could get done what they needed to do, and then when that was over, you’d be able to talk to him hopefully.
You packed a couple clothes and other necessities into a small bookbag, heading to your parents house under the pretense that you missed them and the house felt lonely without Jisung there. It wasn’t exactly a lie, but you weren’t going to tell your parents about the small tiff that you and your boyfriend got into either. You’d stay there for a couple days, not just to give him the space, but to keep yourself from overthinking about his words, because while you had come to the conclusion that he didn’t actually mean them, it didn’t change the fact that they still hurt.
It was easy to keep yourself busy while you were there. You hadn’t seen your family in so long, that a better half of your stay was just you catching up with them and talking to them about how things had been since you were gone. You went shopping and helped with dinner and chores, and you spent late nights staying up watching shows with your mom just to make up for missed time. You barely even had your phone on you, let alone the time to check it for texts.
“Hey babe, we finished working on the album! Wanna celebrate with us?” “Totally cool if you don’t want to do a group celebration. Maybe you and I can go out for dinner or something?” “I miss you, I haven’t seen you in a bit. I’m coming home today, I spent the night at the dorms, I can’t wait to sleep in our bed with you again.” “Are you busy with work or something? You haven’t answered in a whole 24 hours and that’s totally not like you… I love you!!” “I came home and you’re not here… You’re just working… Right?” “Your toothbrush is gone…” “Your brush is gone…” “Your clothes and your bookbag are gone… I really hope that maybe we just got robbed and you’re at work right now or something because I’m getting kinda scared…” “Babe…?” “I know that what I said wasn’t nice and I’m sorry, please don’t leave me. I love you so much, you don’t understand.” “Baby, please. I’m getting scared, I’m really scared. Tell me you’re coming back. Just call me. Please I didn’t mean it!”
When you finally got to check your phone close to the end of your visit, your entire lock screen was filled with notifications from him, and when you checked them, you silently cursed yourself for not checking your phone more often while you were there. The last thing you wanted to do was to make him think that you were actually mad at him, but you knew how he was, and you knew he was probably freaking out already considering the last message was sent a day ago. If he wasn’t panicking to the other guys at the moment, you were sure he was lying in bed crying.
“Ji ended up coming back home a little earlier than we thought.” You excused yourself as you walked through the living room with your bag swung over your shoulder. “I had a great time, I’ll come back and do this again soon, I promise.” You hated having to leave your family on such short notice, but with Jisungs anxiety and you knew how he could get, you were worried about leaving him alone for too long with the assumption swimming in his head that you had actually left him.
“Oh no, that’s okay. Next time you come up, bring him with you. We haven’t seen him in a while either.” Your mom said, cheerful and still unaware of the reason behind your presence and the reason for your rushed departure. “I love you, come back soon, okay?” You nodded in agreement, taking an extra second to give everyone a hug before running out the front door and throwing your stuff in the backseat before climbing into the front and starting the drive back home.
You had tried to call him on your drive back home, and either he didn’t have his phone on him, or he was actively ignoring you, because he wasn’t picking up and that scared you even more. As you pulled up to the house, the sun was just beginning to set, but none of the lights in the house were on. Was he even home?
Not even bothering to grab your bags from the back, you jumped out of the car and ran up to the front door, fumbling with your keys to unlock it only to realize that it hadn’t been locked at all. Usually he would lock the door no matter what, worried about crazed fans or even just robbers breaking in and hurting either you, him, or both. Your heart was already racing as you slowly stepped into the dark house, not even bothering to kick off your shoes as you flicked on the lights and made your way around.
Everything felt quiet, too quiet, too still, and you worried that maybe he really had left after you failed to respond to his texts. You were about to leave, go to the dorms to see if he was there or if any of the other guys knew where he was, when you heard the toilet flush and the slight creak of the bathroom door as it opened. “Ji?” You questioned softly, feeling more like the main character in a horror movie right now than a worried girlfriend.
All those fears subsided though when you heard him gasp, the hall light flicking on and revealing your boyfriend, his hair disheveled and his eyes bloodshot, his cheeks and the tip of his nose blushed a dark pink and his lips chapped from breathing a little too much and a little too heavily. “Y/N…” He croaked out your name, but he didn’t move from the center of the hallway and the domed light above his head was more like a spotlight on him in contrast to the darkness of the rest of the house.
“I thought you left.” You whispered, finally taking the time to take off your shoes before walking over to him. “Why were all the lights out? It’s so dark… You could have tripped over something and hurt yourself.” You quietly scolded him, your fingers gingerly moving his hair out of his face only to realize that it had been curtaining just how sad he truly looked.
“I thought you left…” He retorted, but he didn’t move away from your touch, he actually seemed to melt into it. “The light hurt my eyes… I was crying so much… I thought you were gone. I… I didn’t know what to do, and you weren’t answering my texts, I didn’t even know if they went through and none of the guys knew where you were. I got into an argument with Chan and Changbin… I was so scared…” He rambled, and your heart ached for him, knowing that you put him through so much.
Your arms moved down to wrap around his waist, burying your face in his chest, breathing in the comforting scent of him that you had missed so much while you were away. “I would never leave you… You said that you needed space… That’s what I was giving you.” You explained, and his silence afterwards had you pulling back, looking up at him to see the fresh tears that were spilling down his cheeks as his eyebrows furrowed and his bottom lip trembled.
“I don’t know why I said that…” He shakily mumbled, his hand moving up to the back of your head to pull you against his chest once more, like he was truly scared that you’d leave him again. “I was just so busy with the new album and… It’s so stressful sometimes working with them. I just wanted to get done and come home to you… And… I fucked up, I know I did.”
“No you didn’t…” Your words were slightly muffled by his shirt, but you hoped that he heard you. “Baby… Ji, listen…” You moved your head back and then took a step back so you could look at him, but your motion had his eyes widening with panic as his hands reached out to you again. “I know that you get stressed, and I know that sometimes I can be a little… overbearing-”
“N-No… You’re not… I love when you come visit me at work. I love when you show me that you care.” He cut you off, his chest rising and falling heavily as he verged closer to having another anxiety attack and you quickly shushed him, rushing back into his arms, and while the one on the receiving end of the hug would usually be the one comforted, you knew that allowing him to hug you was comforting enough to him.
“You didn’t let me finish…” You murmured, making sure that your mouth wasn’t squished against his chest this time so he would really hear you. “I know that I can be overbearing sometimes… but it’s because I love you, and I care about you, and I don’t want you to overwork yourself. I know that you get tired, and when you’re tired, you get kind of grumpy. I wasn’t mad about what you said… It was kind of upsetting, but I understood that it didn't come from a place of anger… You were just exhausted, and you were stressed… And I wasn’t… I would never leave you because of that.” You tilted your head up to look at him, your own eyes glossing over with your own tears that seemed to form just from seeing his. “Did you at least eat what I brought you guys?” You asked, trying to slightly verge the topic from being so sad, and he sheepishly chuckled as his head nodded.
“Yeah… And I felt like shit about it too. We all did… My burger was extra salty because of my tears.” He answered, and you couldn’t help but laugh as you tightened your arms around his waist, nuzzling into his chest. “I’m just glad you’re home… I missed you so much… And… And next time you come to the studio to surprise me, I’ll let you sit on my lap and I’ll hold you… I think you being there will make me feel better.”
You hummed softly, nodding in agreement to his words. “If that’s what you’ll do next time I come to the studio, I’ll have to visit more often.” You lightly teased, moving your arms up to drape around his neck as you pulled him down just enough to press a kiss to his lips. “I missed you too.” You murmured against his lips, feeling the corners pull up slightly as his fingers fisted the loose fabric of the t-shirt you were wearing.
“Please do… I’ll just kick the guys out if I want to be alone with you…” His voice was low now as he slowly began to back you up towards the bedroom. “Can I make it up to you… For upsetting you… For being awful and rude…?”
You smirked as you pulled back to look at him, your eyes narrowed suspiciously. “Mm… I don’t know… I think you just want to get me in bed…” You jokingly remarked, although you weren’t really against the idea, your finger hooked into the bottom of his shirt as you lightly pulled him along with you until your knees hit the edge of the bed and you fell back onto it.
“It might be a little bit of that too…” He mused, falling onto the bed over top of you and holding himself up just enough on his elbows. “But I want to show you that I love you… How much I appreciate you…” He dipped down, his lips latching onto your neck, and you could feel through his shirt that his body was burning up. God you loved this man, you loved everything about him, and when his lips finally got done working on the the exposed skin of your neck and he looked down at you with eyes that were both so dark, but so bright at the same time, you knew that you’d do anything for him as long as you got to be with him forever. He was everything to you, and you could tell by the way that he looked at you that you were everything to him. “Can I?”

He holds her carefully as she sits on the back of his neck, hands firm on her legs as they dangle around his shoulders with their tiny little shoes. The child was giggling, no more than seven, as her hands tangled in the black locks of Keegan’s hair and pulled without any real strength; her eyes stared at all the sights to be seen.
It was early at Fort Santa Monica, so early the mist was still in the air and the chill caused the protective father to suit his daughter into a jacket that puffed around her frame. She’d been crying last night, and rather than ask her to try and fall asleep again, he’d gone on his morning run with some company. It didn’t bother him, of course.
She was yours and his daughter—she could never bother him for as long as he lived.
“Having fun up there?” He grunts out, blue eyes shifting up as the child giggles out a small ‘yep,’ and returns to gazing around with glittering eyes. She was so tiny, he thought to himself. So easy to pick up and infect those little eyes with wonder. Everything down to the way the dew looked in the grass was a foreign world to her—mixed with magic and innocence he never wanted to see gone.
“Which way, Sunshine?” Keegan asks, blinking forward at the split in the sidewalk; left or right?
“That way,” her pudgy hand points, and booted feet obey without question. Left it was.
The soldier hums and puffs out a breath of condensation into the air, t-shirt and running shorts swaying around him.
“If you get cold,” he utters, “you tell me, okay?”
“Okay!” Keegan pushes down a smile, blue eyes so soft you could mistake it for dyed room-temperature butter. While he wouldn’t get the workout he had intended in the brightening sun of the morning, with the sound of waves lapping in the air and the scent of his sweat dripping off his nostrils, he’d still enjoy this.
“Can we get hot cocoa?” A hand slaps his forehead and he chuffs a laugh, flinching slightly at the tiny connection of skin.
“Careful, Kid,” the soldier mutters but nods as his daughter's giggles make his chest swell. Damn him, he was done for the moment he’d seen her in the NICU. “Yeah, fine, we can get some hot cocoa. You know something though?”
His daughter's face is above his as he leans his neck back, looking up into her bright face. She blinks, smiling wide.
“What?”
“You’re gonna have to give me a kiss first, Sweetheart.”
“Ew!” She laughs, and Keegan holds her body still as it moves all around in her childish delight, legs kicking out as the man laughs under his breath.
“C’mon,” he huffs, “nothing for your Old Man? I’m hurt. You give Riley kisses on the nose all the time.”
She’s still laughing, holding onto his head. Keegan decides there’s never been a more perfect sound. Without another word, a little smooch is pressed into his hairline, an overdramatic ‘mwah’ sounding off with a raise of hands upwards.
He beams, eyes crinkling and lips pulled back with a wide smile as he shakes his head in amusement. Moving his face forward, the normally stoic soldier sighs and continues on, his daughter on his shoulders and his heart full.

@ barkingatthemoon best friend! liu yangyang x gn! reader, about sickeningly sweet love confessions, friends to lovers, kissing, lower-case intended word count 2k

Tumblr media
"wanna date?"
it's a question poised in the lull of your favorite song, asked within half of a beat before it's drowned out by the rhythmic thrum of the lyrics and consumed by the canary-esque tone of the vocalist. a tone which has nothing on you, voice sweet and even, every word framed with the melodic waver in your pitch. and when you propose this question, head dangling off the edge of your mattress, that ever-so-pretty voice of yours is nothing but nonchalant. as if you had just asked the time.
from your upside down world, there's a tingling feeling which races from the stretch of your abdomen to your nostrils, forcing you to blink fast and swallow hard. your nose twitches, scrunching and relaxing in a poor attempt to relieve itself of the buzzing sensation. but it doesn't seem to make any semblance of a difference. instead, it begins to throb in the top of your temple, pressing down against the walls of your cranium as if they might very well break down. you're not quite sure if it's the silence from your best friend or your position that's making it hard to swallow, but you don't think that the cause exactly matters at the end all be all.
you watch him with doe eyes, lashes fluttering against your cheeks only to be stuck in the arch of your brows as you blink back at him. you can feel your face getting hot, a blush burning at your cheeks and searing the tips of your ears. this reaction, without a doubt, is from him. not being upside down. not the silence. just yangyang, puffy lips parted and eyes wide.
he blinks obliviously at you, tongue hesitating at the back of his teeth, and you begin to wonder if he had ever heard you in the first place. so you open your mouth to say it again, lips just barely pursed in into the beginnings of a consonant before he's waving you off. "i heard you the first time,"
unlike the songbird singer of your favorite song and unlike you, yangyang's voice is caught in between something strained (tone low and rough as if it has been dragged upon gravel) and hesitant (yet you're not quite sure if you could describe it as that, not with the way that each ending syllable seemed to rush after one another). in all iterations of his voice, this is one that you like least of all. it tells of an oncoming rejection, the thought process of finding just the right words to let you down.
"ah," you're less casual this time, words stuck in the back of your throat, "is that a no?"
"what?"
"i'm asking if you're rejecting me," you clarify, finally unable to take the rush to your head as you sit upright, "my confession,"
he leans forward and if you weren't so preoccupied with picking yourself up, perhaps you would have been flustered by the lack of distance (though you guess that personal space has never been a forte of yangyangs). he raises a finger in the air, gesturing in circles as if to rewind to your previous words. "that was a confession?"
"what else would it be?" the sudden surge of movement forces you to clench your eyes shut, pressure mounting up behind them as if it might spill out with tears. it takes a couple moments of blinking before your vision returns to normal, accompanied by a faint ringing in your ears. "anyway, i thought you knew,"
yangyang sputters for words, blonde hair falling onto his face in a manner that really doesn't help you keep your composure. he shoots you an incredulous look, eyebrows arched and jaw nearly touching the floor. he brings a hand to his chest, tapping as he speaks, as if he couldn't believe that he's the crush in mention. "knew that you're into me?"
"yes," your tone is bordering the line between a twinge of embarrassment and the foundation of irritation that's bubbling at the back of your throat, "i've been making it pretty obvious,"
"not obvious enough," he grumbles, spoken under his breath as he brings a hand to scratch at the bridge of his nose--looking everywhere but your eyes, narrowed in on him with something more akin to a glare than a glance.
you huff, rolling your eyes as you lean onto your arms, flicking him on the forehead with a force much to harsh to be anything lesser than aggravation. "next time i'll make sure to get on one knee to propose so it's obvious enough for you,"
he swats your hand away, pouting as he nurses his forehead. his discomfort evokes a laugh on your part, lips twitching upwards from their previous position held in the beginnings of a sneer. you can never stay annoyed at him, not when he looks like that. an expression that screams pathetic in every way but overt words as he looks up at you. his bottom lip is caught in his teeth and his next words are spoken within a silver of a breathe--desperate and urgent.
"yes, i do. so, so badly"
it's a statement spoken in the middle of one of your songs, tone so gentle that it was almost drowned out by the steady beat of the instrumental. so quiet, that you're tempted to ask him to repeat it--partially to make sure that you really did hear him correctly but mostly because you just want to hear him say it one more time. there's no question about what he's responding too, voice completely consumed by a honey, lovesick lilt. one that you find far superior to any intonation used by your songbird singer or any emphasis that falls from your own throat. an inflection that you will revisit, over and over and over again until any and all accuracy of the memory is lost.
"ok,"
"ok?"
"ok," you repeat, lips quirking into a teasing smile (one he knows all too well, one that sticks to his skin and haunts him with every waking moment--god, he can't get you out of his mind), "what? you disappointed or something?"
he's quick to clarify, rebutting with a dirty look, "no. i just...i don't know. not very romantic was it?"
"ouch," you wince back in faux pain, holding a hand to your heart with a dramatic drawl, "should i have bought flowers?"
"yes, sure, whatever," he acknowledges your quip only to ignore it, spitting out an agreement as quick as he can in order to get to his next phrase. so rushed that you're fifty percent positive that he didn't even hear what you said, "can i kiss you?"
his question makes you reel, feeling dizzy as the words are punctuated with a look from him that's a hair away from begging. and oh god, you feel like you're going to faint. maybe you're still feeling the aftereffects of your head rush. one look at him says otherwise.
"do you even have to ask?" your lips curve into a smile as you answer. a smile that makes his hands curl into tight fists, knuckles burning a bleach white. he's one hundred percent sure that if he doesn't kiss you right now, then he'll explode. though, it doesn't exactly matter in the grand scheme of things as he thinks that he'll reach the same end when he actually does.
and that's certainly what it feels like as yangyang leans forward, pressing a chaste kiss on your lips. one that he ends only to begin another, more assured and slightly less gentle, less featherlight. he sighs when he kisses you, as if he's been holding back that same sigh since he met you. one only to be relieved by a kiss he has always so desperately craved. he kisses you urgently, like he's making up for lost time. a pacing and utter adoration that makes your head spin, butterflies fluttering in your stomach only to emerge from your throat in the form of a quiet whine. a noise that has yangyang practically lunging on top of you, hands coming up to hold your face. slender fingers sliding up your cheekbones and resting before your ears, fingernails knotted in the edges of your hair. and then he's pulling away, smushing messy, lingering kisses all over your face.
his lips are everywhere, on the full of your cheeks and the space beneath the arch of your brow. the corner of your mouth and your chin, your forehead and eyelid. chest against chest, his heartbeat hammering so loudly that you wouldn't be surprised if it leapt straight out.
"maybe we should have skipped the confession part and went straight to this," your words are hummed against his face, eyes fluttering somewhere between open and shut as he lines kisses down the angle of your jaw. your arms coming to hang around his shoulders, "might have saved you from my unromantic confession,"
you can feel him grin against you and you know a teasing comment isn't too far behind. "i wish we did. that was the worst confession i've ever received,"
he makes his way back to your lips, pressing soft kisses to the corners before capturing your lips once more. this time, you lead, pulling him ever-so-slightly closer as you take his bottom lip in between your teeth. you nip playfully, soothing over your bite with a passive, lazy drag of your tongue. a feeling that evokes a groan from your counterpart, fingertips digging into the flesh of your face.
"should i take it back then?" it's muttered against his lips, each word spoken between kisses that have his knees buckling, "the worst confession you've ever received, that is,"
yangyang scoffs, words slurred and spoken in the middle of a kiss. "you can't take it back,"
you laugh, a pretty sound that has his ears ringing. one that starts in the back of your throat and ends up bubbling in his, before it's interrupted with a whiny whimper as you pull away. a reaction that nearly has all the blood in your body rushing to your head. you're not sure that sitting up could fix the sensations this time.
instead, you bring a finger to trace along the expanse of his neck. fingernail grazing against his adams apple (which bobs when he swallows, hard, at the feeling of your touch--an action accompanied a slight shiver and unsteady inhale). you continue your journey upwards until you're skimming the curve where his throat meets his chin. and there you hesitate, before flicking your finger harshly upwards. "can't i?"
despite the way in which his face is forced upwards by the motion of your hand, yangyang's eyes never leave yours. they're half-lidded, eyelids drooping down like he's drunk. lips are a vermillion red, puffy and swollen. a small line of spit stuck between the top and bottom and you can't be sure whether that's his or yours. all you do know is that if he keeps looking at you like that, you might just drop dead. they say looks can kill, after all.
"no," he replies, voice hoarse and eyes drawn in soft crescents "it's too late. we're dating, aren't we? you said ok,"
you huff out a whisper of a laugh, expression darting into a grin that you just can't hold back. one that practically threatens to split your face in two as you undertake a teasing lilt. "only because you looked so pathetic when you agreed,"
he wrinkles his nose at your words, toying with a lopsided smile that makes your heart flip. "if that's what it takes for you to date me then i'll look pathetic all you want,"
"i don't think you'll have to try any harder than usual in that endeavor," you remark, shutting your eyes as you lean back onto your palms, "in fact, i'd say that--"
but you're cut off with a kiss, then another, and another, and another. until you've all but forgotten about rescinding your confession, or what you were going to say about him. and the only thing you can think about is him. not that that is anything out of the norm.

taglist. @evilsailorsenshi @222brainrot @yangasm thank you for all your support and love! <3
🗯️ i love yangyang so much guys TᴖT i don't even think this is written well because i wrote it so rushed, all in one sitting, because i just needed to get this out of my system. there's something so lovely to me about mundane, realistic confessions and banter that i can't help but think about them all the time. writing this made me all fuzzy and i hope it does the same for you all! ♡

Yan Crossdresser Headcannons
(First time doing headcannons, wish me luck!)
(Enjoy!)
Initially he was surprised to hear you ask him out, so surprised he couldn’t formalité a single sentence.
Of course, you considered that a rejection and started to walk away, which snapped Crossdresser out of his daze and he yanked you back to him.
He managed to stutter a response, a shy confirmation, and then you two set a date.
Now, the whole week he was preparing himself for this date, he went to the spa, got his nails done and then spent a few days picking out his outfit.
You said it was a simple coffee date, so he should try to go for something simple, effortless, yet cute and eye catching.
he spent the night before the date going through a full body skin care routine (that took forever).
Hours before the date he began to get ready, at first he was going to wear a cute creme dress (it fell just below his knees and he looked so cute)
But then he began to second guess himself and he didn’t quite like how to dress hugged his figure (he worried about his weight and he worried that you would find out the truth)
So, he chose to go with a nice purple dress, but he didn’t like how short it was and couldn’t find shoes to match it.
Eventually he decided to just call you and ask what you were going to be wearing. You told him (a dark blue sweater vest, a white blouse, black fitted trousers and heeled dress shoes) and he decided to match you.
He put on a blue sweater vest that had black checker patterns, a white blouse with flower patterns (his favorite and only white long sleeved shirt), a short black skirt with white stockings (also with flowers) and blue heels.
He then went through the process of putting on his makeup, he choose to go with a somewhat subtle look that has blue sprinkled in it. (Makeup is not my forte, so apologies if it isn’t correct)
He choose to go with a liquid concealer, blended it in, added blush and then highlighted his cheek bones.
He went with a dark red lipstick, then choose a light blue for the eyeshadow.
He went with a black eyeliner on his upper lashes and used a white on his lower eye lids. (You know, to give him a innocent eye look, hopefully I got that right)
Then he sprayed his makeup with a setting spray (I’m pretty sure that exists) and took a photo of his look.
He felt quite proud of his look and even did a little victory dance!
He brushed his hair and then pinned it back with some hair clips. (He thought he looked so cute!)
He picked a few accessories, a black beret (the French kind), a blue flower necklace, white flower earrings (the kind that dangle and jingle), a few silver rings (not too many) and a blue bag.
He double checked his outfit in the mirror and then told you he was ready to be picked up.
You arrived just a few moments later (as he doesn’t live very far from you) and greeted him with a kiss on his cheek. (He giggled and embraces you in a tight hug, you had to practically drag him out of your arms)
You complimented him, telling him that he looked amazing and that he was gorgeous. (His face flushes such a bright red, you would think he was Rudolph!)
You lead him to your car, helped him get in (how polite of you!) and then got in the car yourself.
During the whole drive he couldn’t help but stare at you and he always had one hand on some part of your body.
(Well, that’s all for now. Uhm, I don’t know how to do headcannons, so I tried my best and hopefully you like it! This headcannon is for Anon Number 3, but everyone can read it.)

Qiu x Reader/MC (Step 2)
Warnings: implied depression
I love that Qiu is confirmed to have ADHD, but also the way they are in the step 2 preview seems like a good ol' ADHD + depression smoothie. I know very well what that's like and this is actually loosely based on my own experiences at that age. Hope you enjoy ♡
☄. *. ⋆ ☄. *. ⋆ ☄. *. ⋆
Just like every other morning, your first destination after leaving for school was Qiu’s house. You two going to school together was an unspoken rule, and it was one you were happy to have in place. Not only was Qiu your best friend, but you held Qiu very close to your heart. Qiu did the same.
Even if it had always gone unacknowledged, it was undeniable that there was an incredibly special bond between the two of you. Qiu changed as they grew, closing themselves off to the world, but no matter how cold they may seem to everyone else, a soft spot for you remained. It always remained.
You arrived at the fort and went through your usual routine of tapping whatever appendage Qiu had dangling down (this time it was their feet) to get their attention. Qiu lifted their legs back up into the little nook they were huddled in without a word, now fully out of sight.
While it was a little odd to not receive a verbal response from them, you were used to the resistance and climbed up the rope until you could see inside the fort. Qiu was hugging their knees to their chest, curled in a ball and looking away from you. That only prompted you to climb in fully.
“Autumn?”
“Go away,” Qiu mumbled, still facing away.
That was a bit colder than you were used to, even for Qiu. You inched toward them, but Qiu only pulled away more.
“I’m not going,” they insisted.
You grew more concerned by the second. You tried to move so you could see more of Qiu, but the tight space made it difficult. At least Qiu took a little mercy on you and ever so slightly turned their head, meeting your eyes. Their expression was unreadable; their voice, however, was not.
“…Please don’t make me go.”
It was a quiet, broken thing. You immediately abandoned the idea of school and threw your backpack out of the fort, wanting nothing but to help Qiu feel better.
“I won’t,” you said, gently placing a hand on Qiu’s shoulder. They looked away once again, shame evident in the way they hunched over even more than they already were.
“You shouldn’t skip ‘cause of me.”
A shrug was the only answer you gave while staying put. At this moment, school was the least of your worries. You scooted over just a bit so that you were fully next to Qiu and began to softly play with their hair, tucking it behind their ear. It was a habit you got into not long after you two met, and Qiu always welcomed the soothing touch. This time was no different. They closed their eyes and leaned into the feeling.
A wave of emotions crossed Qiu’s face until they finally scrunched it up and furrowed their brows. You were confused at first, but then you noticed the other’s eyes were glossy–Qiu was trying not to cry. Without hesitation, you put an arm around Qiu and pulled them in so that their head was resting on your shoulder.
You murmured delicately into their hair. “It’s okay.”
No matter how strongly you trusted each other, Qiu still sometimes needed encouragement to open up. You would gladly provide that encouragement any time.
Now having permission, Qiu let themselves cry. It wasn’t loud or intense, not even close to a sob, but it was enough to see that they had reached some sort of limit. Over the last few weeks, you noticed the way their face sagged and the slow, lethargic way they moved; Qiu’s crying was caused by complete and utter exhaustion.
After a few minutes, they took some deep breaths and lifted their face to look at you, their best friend in the world.
“Love you.”
For some people, that phrase was only used in a very specific way. It had lots of connotations and hidden meanings, and it was a phrase saved for special occasions.
Not for you and Qiu.
You were easily the most important people in each other’s lives. You shared an unparalleled level of trust, an indestructible desire to always be together, and you both knew it. In each of your minds, there was absolutely no reason to hold back in expressing that. Besides, there was no other word that could really encapsulate what you felt. It was love, plain and simple. It never mattered what kind of love it was, and it could change and evolve, but it was always, always love.
“I love you too, Qiu.”

a study in metal and silk. mtmte imagines.
I think there's just something about the stark contrast between fabric and metal that makes me feral. The sharp, striking counterpoint of sentio metallico against human skin. It makes me lightheaded to think of the gentle brushes and soft strokes exchanged between cybertronians and their humans lovers — how painfully tender these titans try to be with hands that have most likely torn ships apart.
Fort Max holding your coat up and letting you glide one arm in after the other, cashmere wool against cyberium — and to think that when in oil form, it has the chance of poisoning you. Yet welded into his armor, the metal was ( what you claimed ) your favorite thing about him. You'd pepper kisses along his servos, feather-light and playful, against each finger to thank him for being such a gentlemech. He was always at a loss when it came to your soft gestures as if his hands hadn't been bloodied and torn and scathed with energon. Yet he doesn't have the strength to protest when you lay your cheek against his palm, which was big enough to cover your entire head, even with his mass displaced.
First Aid helping his beloved into their shirt, your eyes barely open as the sunlight hits you square in the face. You wanted to ask him why he had opened the curtains this early in the morning, on a Sunday too, but you can't seem to focus on anything else but his servos. The bed creaked and dipped on his side, the mattress straining under his weight even if you've lined it with a layer of metal below. He looks funny against the pristine blankets, and despite his reputation for a set of steady hands, they were still bulky and square. So he takes his time looping the buttons into their respective holes, and you rest your forehead against his shoulder, already lulling back to sleep. Your heartbeat was a strange, distant sound against the humming of his spark.
Minimus slowly eased his human out of their ballet slippers, untying the ribbons one by one: careful, patient, servos already soothing the irritated skin. The pink satin looks alien against his grip, out of place. And yet he handles them with care, knowing how much you prize them. His mouth ghosts over your knee, trailing down as he massages your ankle. He's saying something about not pushing yourself too hard, and you want to call him out for being a hypocrite, but it's impossible to speak when you're drowning in the sensation of his touch as it brushes over the hem of your skirt. So you sit in silence; admiring, watching, as he continues to give you a lecture (lovingly, of course).
Rodimus, adjusting you as you cling onto his back, arms looped around his neck as he grips both of your thighs on either side of his waist. He gives you a playful squeeze, and you laugh into his jugular cables, high heels — black leather and polymer — dangling off your fingers as he piggybacks you back home. He tells you that you should've gone with the more practical choice, and you tease him about sounding like his co-captain. Relishing in the subtle thrum of his frame against your chest, slumping forward to press your lips against his cheek — smooth, unbending, yet warm to the touch. Different from your perception of what metal feels like, you have to remind yourself living metal is far from cold.
Ratchet sliding your gloves over your hands, the article of clothing an inconvenient little thing to a Cybertronian. And yet, for you, they help keep the cold out — especially when insulated by wool. The golden brooch by the ends of each wrist glinted under the streetlamp. Above, snowflakes danced in the light, a choreographed ballet conducted by the gentle wind. You tell him you feel warmer already, yet the medic doesn't seem convinced, holding your arms and lifting your fingers to his intake. He ex-vents, once, twice, the air warm enough for you to feel past the fabric. He then lays your palms across his chest and scoffs, pulling you flush against him. Ratchet says that if you were cold, you should've said it ages ago.
(suggestive, mdni!)
Megatron kneeling before you, servos dextrous as they give your stockings an experimental tug upwards, before rolling them down to your knee in one fluid movement. He hovers his intake over your inner thigh, the stiff arch of his helm, dipping against the curve of your skin. Your breathing quickened, and he seemed to hear this, already moving to undo the other leg. He holds you like you'll break any second. As if you were a porcelain doll, a thing of glass. You tell him that you can be malleable. That you can learn to bend and embrace him — and he seems drunk at the thought. He pushed the straps of your chemise, thin and flimsy, down each shoulder. Easing you back on the bed. And the fabric pooled around your waist to reveal your chest, silk moving like water against the seams of his plating.

Steve Harrington x fem!reader [1.6k] fluff, soft!Steve and family video make out sessions.
“God, do you even know what you're doing to me wearing that?”
You looked up from the book you were reading, cheeks flushed and eyes bright as you gazed at your boyfriend. Steve was behind the counter if Family Video, eyes hooded and lips parted as he stared at your bare legs.
It was record high temperatures outside, the height of summer in Hawkins and the blue skies and sun ensured that the entire town was at the pool and most definitely not hanging out in the video store.
The place was empty and you’d perched yourself on the counter top to keep Steve company, pushing your nose into an old, dog-eared book, legs swinging.
“What?” You asked him, “this old thing?”
He set you with a look that had you biting back a smile, the teasing lilt in your voice not lost on him. He looked flustered, still surrounded by the receipts and paperwork he’d been trying to get finished since you’d arrived an hour earlier.
You had slipped through the door with a bottle of iced tea and your book, a buttercup yellow sundress shifting lightly around the tops of your thighs. You smelled like coconut sun cream and lemonade and Robin had immediately left, claiming that you could help Steve hold down the fort for the rest of the day.
Steve had hardly heard her, completely uncaring as she left him alone with you.
He hummed at your words, moving the stack of videos out of his way and taking your book out of your hands, careful to not lose your page as you huffed in faux protest. His hands found your thighs, warm palms smoothing over the skin there and you marvelled at how big they were, wrapping around you easily and you tried to think of a way to scold him for manhandling you.
Your mind drew a blank.
He dragged you across the counter top, grinning as you squeaked, moving you gently until your legs dangled on the side he stood on and he was able to step between them.
The boy made a noise of approval as you spread them for him, revelling in the way he was still tall enough to look you in the eye, despite your higher seat. His thumbs were stroking circles into the soft skin on the inside of your leg, just above your knee and his fingertips were getting dangerously close to sneaking underneath the hem of your dress.
He tugged at the edge of it, fingers light and playful, and it made the air feel warmer, heavier, like the sun was trapped inside the boy in front of you. His nose was brushing along the line of your own when he spoke, his voice hushed and a little hoarse.
“Yeah, this old thing,” Steve grinned, the glint in his eyes telling you that he didn’t believe you for a second. “It’s real pretty,” he murmured, voice soft, hands still roaming.
“You like it?” You asked, already knowing the answer, but you weren’t above pushing for compliments, not from Steve, not when you knew he’d give you them so easily.
He pushed his face into your neck, grinning into the skin there when you huffed out a soft laugh, the wild strands of his hair tickling your cheek. You felt his lips on you, open mouth kisses along the column of your throat before he pressed them into the line of your jaw, nipping when he found the spot by your ear.
“Fuck yeah, I like it,” he smiled when you sighed, your arms wrapping around his shoulders and your hands finding the hair at the nape of his neck, a happy noise escaping you when you felt him push his answering groan into the curve of your shoulder.
Steve nudged at the straps of your dress with his nose, dropping kisses into the spaces he revealed.
“You smell so good,” he murmured and he could feel himself get too warm when you answered him by squeezing your legs around his waist. “You’re killin’ me here sweetheart.”
“You started it, Harrington,” you tried so hard to sound huffy, your lips pushed into a pout but there was a smile hiding there, a bubble of a laugh stuck in your chest.
You felt lovesick, too warm from the sun outside, from your boy's lips on your bare skin, his wandering fingertips that were edging closer to the lace of your underwear.
He hummed again, unrepentant as he moved his mouth away from your shoulder and faced you again. His brown eyes were shining, his hair misbehaving from where you had run your hands through its ends, pulling when his kisses felt too good.
“I could finish it too, if you wanna get acquainted with the staff room,” Steve suggested, eyebrows raised.
His hands were curled around the space where your underwear met your inner thighs, fingers splayed over the skin there, flirting with the band of your underwear. You were panting now, lips parted, eyes glassy and he was gone on you, eyes roaming greedy over your face, taking in your unravelling state.
“So pretty,” he whispered before you could answer him, and you were almost sure he was speaking to himself.
You think you kissed him first, pressing yourself forward until you closed the small space between you both, lips parted and searching. His bottom lip slid between yours and you sighed into him when you realised he tasted like your iced tea he’d been stealing sips of, lemon and sour raspberry.
Steve groaned his reply, swallowing your moans and his eyes squeezed themselves shut at the feel of you bringing one of your legs higher around his hip, one of his hands following the movement of it until his fingers gripped underneath your knee and anchored you to him.
He wanted to rock into you, feel you against him completely but the counter was very much still in his way and he cursed into the kiss when the stack of videos slipped and clattered to the floor. He kissed away your giggles, teeth meeting clumsily as you both grinned and he pulled away to smooth a hand over your hair.
You looked like a dream, he thought. Messy pretty with kiss bitten lips, tinged pink and glossy. Your eyes were bright, your hair falling from the scrunchie you used to take the weight of it off of your neck.
“You’re too much,” Steve told you, lips ghosting back over your own, pressing kisses and pretty words into them and you wanted to kick your legs out at how good it all felt.
“Says you,” you huffed, body tingling at how he made you feel. His hands were still under your dress, tracing patterns across four thighs, skimming over your knees.
He nipped at your jaw again to hide his smile, as if his smug expression at your words was supposed to be a secret. Your hands found his chin, grabbing greedily at him as you pulled him back into you, your lips claiming his in an attempt to gain a little control over the situation he’d put you in.
You were rewarded with a moan, open mouthed and undisguised as Steve licked past the seam of your lips, his hands finally appearing from beneath your sundress in order to grab at your waist. He was a little desperate now, messy and rougher as he curled his fingers into the dip in your sides.
You sighed into him, heavy and needy, “Steve-“
The electronic jingle of the door rang out, harsh and jarring into the store, signalling the arrival of an unwanted customer.
You swore at the sound, Steve barking out a laugh at your outburst but he was quick to smooth down your dress, covering your bare skin from anyone that wasn’t supposed to see.
By the time the elderly woman was walking down the aisles towards the desk, a copy of Top Gun in hand, Steve had pulled you from the counter, letting you slip down his body until your feet found the floor. He’d stared at you, hungry looking and a little wild, his hair sticking more on end than usual as you dropped yourself onto the chair that Robin usually spent her shift on.
You hardly heard the polite small talk he made with Mrs Jenkins as she paid, but you knew she’d left from the feel of Steve’s hands cupping the sides of your face as he leaned down and into you.
You hummed against his kiss, ecstatic to have his attention again as you wrapped your hands around his wrists, keeping him to you. But the same ‘beep boop’ from the door sounded once again, making you both pull back and flinch.
You were both unsurprised and amused as you heard a young boy's voice call out from over the counter, an excited: “Steve!”
Dustin, curls still damp from the local pool, hat lopsided and grin wide as he slammed a collection of horror movies onto the desk that he was much doing young for.
And at the sound of Lucas and Max’s bickering chatter from behind him, you sighed, a smile on your face despite the interruption and the space it forced between yourself and your boyfriend.
He gazed down at you, eyes still flickering over all the bare skin your dress showed off but he scrunched his nose at the sound of Lucas yelling across the aisles.
“Hey Steve, where’s the new Friday the 13th?”
He sighed and you grinned.
“Only two hours to go,” you told him encouragingly and he dropped one last kiss to your lips before he rounded the counter, threatening to ban all three of them if they didn’t hurry up and leave.

Tumblr media
As you opened the door to your apartment, it took you a minute to realize that you weren’t alone. The bag of takeout you had grabbed on your way home was placed on the entryway table and what would normally startle someone, made you chuckle. Carmy was standing at your kitchen stove, multiple pans on the burners, towel tucked in the back strap of the apron as he focused intently on the food cooking in front of him.
“Honey, I’m home!” You teased him with sarcasm in your voice as you replaced the takeout bag with your wallet and keys and made your way to the kitchen island bar counter that separated your kitchen and living room. Carmy scoffed out a laugh and shook his head as he tossed the food in one of the pans with little effort.
As you entered the kitchen, which despite it only being manned by one person was in chaos, you dared to journey over to the fridge. You knew how Carmy tended to ebb and flow in the kitchen so you tried your luck. You made your way unscathed, still needing to call out the kitchen terms Carmy begged you to use. Corner and Behind were all that were expected out of you and after that one time you almost ended up with grease burn on your dominant hand, you obliged. Now, the chilled bottle of wine you had adventured for was in your hand with a glass from the cabinet, before you retreated to the safe space that was the bar stools, you grabbed the water pitcher from the top shelf of the fridge and refilled Carmy’s plastic takeout container that he was using as a drinking glass.
“Missed you at the restaurant today.” You spoke as you made your way to the stools and poured a good amount of wine into your glass.
“Didn’t know you were gonna be stopping by.” Carmy’s attention wasn’t on conversation or you right now, he was monotone in his reply which clued you in to his mind being elsewhere.
“Apparently that’s a theme of ours.” You made sure the comment was mumbled, and with the exhaust fan going and the fact you made the comment into your wine glass, Carmy didn’t hear you. “Yea, just for a bit, a girl’s gotta eat.”
“You do realize that the kitchen is closed since we’re under renovations.” Carmy spoke, still not even looking at you.
You took the opportunity to grab a takeout container from the bag as well as chopsticks and start munching on something as you waited for whatever Carmy was cooking up to be ready. Restaurants serve appetizers for a reason right?
“Yea but,” you paused as you took a bite from the food that always tasted better from the paperboard than served on a plate, “everyone at the restaurant loves me and wants me to be happy and fed.”
Carmy shook his head, annoyance in his tone now. “You can’t get Syd to make you a sandwich every time you come in.”
“Actually it was the electrician. PB&J.” You corrected him, leaning your head back and dangling the chopsticks over your mouth to drop the piece of food into your mouth.
Carmy didn’t say anything, so you spoke up again.
“So, how was your day?” Your inflection rose to insinuate that you were getting tired of trying to pull words out of him as you replaced your chopsticks with your glass of wine.
“Fine.” He said quickly.
You knew Carmy could multitask in the kitchen. There had been multiple times you’ve seen him do it at The Beef since coming back but even more during all the times you were at his place while he cooked or scenarios like the one right now where he took over your kitchen.
You never minded, you spent more of your time eating at The Beef or out than turning the burners on your own stove so Carmy coming over and dusting them off for you was always welcomed and appreciated. It’s why he had a key, amongst other reasons, the main one he was your best friend and emergency contact so it just seemed right.
But all that is why you knew he was being avoidant right now.
“What’d you do?” You inquired for more details, taking the time to pick through the paperboard container as you waited for an answer.
“Stuff.” Again, he replied hurriedly.
“Syd gave me a paprika prawn to try today.” That sentence had more hope than the others, you thought you’d get something out of him with that one.
“Nice.” He was now looking in the grocery bags he must have brought with him and pulling out something to add to his pan.
You let him be for a few more seconds, thinking he deserved a few moments of peace before you shook him with your next statement, one you knew would get his attention.
“I got arrested last night.”
You thought you’d hear utensils drop, the stove click off, maybe even a pan hit the ground in an overdramatic display but the only thing you heard was the sound of Carmy’s towel slapping the back of his green pullover as he turned to look at you and rested the towel over his shoulder.
“What?” The end of that word felt sharp, the emotion that filled his face at least left you with some type of a response rather than none.
“Yup.” You met him with a one worded answer just to be petty.
“What?” He spoke, now with more confusion in his voice as he stepped towards you. His brows meeting together, his face scrunching up as his brain searched for an answer.
“Simple Assault.” Another short reply from you.
“There’s nothing simple about assault.” Carmy’s anger started to show. “What the fuck, who the fuck are you assaulting.”
“They call it that, not me. Although it was pretty simple, he harassed me so I pushed his head into a plate of french toast.” You finished talking but only let a second pass before speaking up again. “Actually it was a french toast waffle, strawberry rhubarb flavored too, but that kind of complicates the whole simple part of it.”
You went straight from a petty short reply to petty over-explaining.
“So you assaulted some guy and then spent the night in the drunk tank?” He questioned.
“Wasn’t drunk.” Back to the pettiness of a short reply, just for the thrill of it all. “Richie bailed me out.”
“Um,” Carmy thought for a second, his eyes closed as his brain racked around that statement. “Richie bailed you out?” Carmy’s face fell into a frown as he brought his hand through his oily hair. “Richie bailed you out?” He was now looking at you as he repeated himself. “You–you called Richie?”
“It’s not a big deal, Bear.” You shifted from pettiness to uneasiness as you saw his response, opting to use his nickname to try and ease into this conversation.
“Why didn’t you call me?” He asked more sincerity in his voice now.
You thought about how to answer this. Logically, Richie owed you one, you bailed him out once it was time he repaid the favor. You also knew, a part of you wanted to call Richie.
Truthfully, you felt like Richie was the only person you could rely on lately, but you knew those words would have gutted Carmy.
“Richie owed me one.” You said defaulting back to the logical response.
Carmy was reminded back to the story that started this whole thing with Richie and you. “You slept with him again.” His tone immediately changed. What you thought would be pointed and another argument was interchanged with a smile and wait, was that a little humor? In his tone?
“And you weren’t drunk?” He turned around back to the stove as he finished up whatever he was cooking.
You knew he was just being a jerk and teasing you, but if he was going to do this instead of getting mad you’d take it.
“You know, I didn’t think it was going to be but ot’s been weird since. I don’t–” You started to talk to Carmy as you laid back in the stool.
“No.” Carmy took a bite of what was in the pan. “No, we’re not doing this.”
“Doing what?” You asked as your eyebrows moved in confusion.
“Talking about Richie.” He was starting to plate the food. “And especially you and Richie.”
“You sure you mean talking about Richie and not just talking?” You rolled your eyes.
“To be sure I’m covered, let's just say talking as a whole.” He turned around and placed the plates on his side of the kitchen island.
“All I’m saying is he’s been acting weird since it happened.” You said ignoring his request.
“Alright, we’re doing this.” Carmy’s face was focused. “Look, he likes you, okay?” Carmy began garnishing the plates.
“Likes me? Richie doesn’t like m–”
Carmy cut you off. “Nope. Not doing this. I’m sticking to what I said no more talking.”
You lifted your hands in surrender and leaned forward to look at the plates he was about to serve.
“So, as much as I love when you come over and cook, I’d love to know what’s with the spontaneity. I wouldn’t have bought take-out if I knew you were gonna be here.” You changed the topic and grabbed a fork from Carmy’s hand.
“Boneless Pork Ribs with a Cherry Pepper Glaze.” He said watching you grab the plate to eat them.
“It’s a play on the cherry pepper spare ribs from Elina’s, right?” You asked as you looked down at the plate.
Carmy nodded, if you blinked you would have missed it, but he was clearly just eager for you to try it. You took a bite, you let it linger in your mouth for a minute before chewing and letting the flavors melt and dance around your tongue. It was good, but in comparison to the dish you had just mentioned to Carmy, it was missing something.
“Takeout’s better.” You were expecting him to say something back to you but when you looked up you were just met with his stare.
“More detail please?”
The smallest smile grew on your face. “You know, I just don’t think you put enough love into it.”
“I’m being fuckin’ serious.” His face hardened.
“So am I.” You leaned back in the stool and kicked your feet up on the counter and shrugged. “It’s just missing something. Probably Sydney if I’m being honest.”
“I have something to tell you.” Carmy quickly changed the topic.
“I thought you didn’t want to do any talking.” You mocked him, eyes closed as you relaxed.
“I saw Claire at the grocery store.”
The speediness in your reaction was unmatched, your feet were off the table and your face got serious as you looked at your best friend.
“I’m sorry, what?”
“I was in the freezer section and she was just there.” He was starting to get worked up, the anxiety of it all catching up to him.
“First of all, what the fuck were you doing in the freezer section?” You shook your head and squinted your eyes as Carmy turned to the freezer and grabbed a box to show you.
“Strawberry eclairs and veal stock but mainly the strawberry eclairs.” His grip was tight on the box, a sign of the stress he was feeling.
“Strawberry eclairs.” Your bottom lip protruded as you felt the sweetness behind the gesture, a memory from your childhood.
“Also, just because I’m a chef doesn’t mean I don’t eat tv dinners.” Despite the anxiety, his attitude was back and in full swing.
“I thought I told you to stick to the frozen pizzas over the tv dinners.” It was pointless to argue about but you were buying time before talking about the big elephant in the room.
“You know, both of those require me to be in the frozen food aisle which was what your question was in the first place.” He said, raising his voice since you had just raised yours a bit.
“When were you going to tell me you were seeing Claire?” You asked, meeting his attitude with your own.
“I’m not seeing her, I saw her once. Today. For the first time in years.” He corrected you, clearly confused by the situation himself.
“I don’t know what you want me to do with that.” You shook your head and stood up now, grabbing the bottle of wine and pouring the remaining of it into your glass before moving to your recycling bin to toss the bottle.
“Talk to me about it, I don’t know!” He yelled following you around the kitchen.
“What do you want, Carmy?” You turned around so you were face to face with him, your voice soft now.
“I don’t know.”
“I don’t like it.” You said staring at him now.
“I don’t like you and Richie.” Carmy said back, not in a way that was condescending or trying to rebuttal you but just a simple statement and it offered you a different perspective.
You both felt the same way. It made you try and think differently about it all, taking into perspective maybe how Carmy viewed you and Richie wasn’t how you did. There were things between you and Richie that no one but you two knew. Conversations, moments, big fucking moments. And you weren’t just talking about when he bailed you out. Mikey’s funeral, you spent every moment next to him practically. Coming home, the way he welcomed you back. Your ex walking into The Beef, he protected you and then respected that you didn’t want to talk about it. Then, there was the stuff in between. The comments, the support, feeding you, finding things that reminded him of you, and of course, bailing you out. All of that had to make you think maybe there was that type of thing happening with Carmy and Claire.
Claire was a sweet girl, popular, but sweet. Maybe there was a morsel of jealousy there back in high school. Not because you liked Carmy in that way, but because she had been given the Berzatto nickname simply because it rhymed. Another part of that jealousy was, the Berzatto kids saved you. The chaotic, crazy, and extremely mentally unstable household saved your life and you held every one of the Bear’s close and responsible for that, even the ones who were mentally fucked themselves. But that was years ago. Your real issue wasn’t really with Claire at all, but more with Carmy and his ability to balance things. He never held any friendships, yours was intact because you got it, you understood him. Even when things were bad, you fucking understood. You let a lot of shit slide and maybe that was your fault but remembering back to your high school days, the panic attacks and stress Carmy went through over school, over home, over Claire. It made all your thoughts come to a halt as you spoke up.
“I don’t want you getting fucking hurt.” You said, shaking your head from your thoughts. There was way more to it, but part of that perspective you had, made you realize none of it mattered. You just had to say your piece and live with whatever was to come. You were going to continue whatever this was with Richie, despite what Carmy said, and you had to believe he was going to do the same.
Carmy just shook his head at your reply as his eyebrows raised. He didn’t need to say anything, his face said it all. He was telling you that he didn’t want you getting hurt either. There was nothing more to say or do with that. I mean sure, argue about how you care about each other? But what good would that do if ultimately you were both going to do whatever you wanted. Since you were best friends, you’d both have to deal with the fallout of those consequences, despite knowing, and on top of living with it you’d both never hit the other with an ‘I told you so’, because that’s what best friends did.
“You really fucking suck.” You rolled your eyes and brought the filled glass to your mouth, chugging about half of it down.
Carmy grabbed two strawberry eclairs from the freezer, handing one to you before peeling back the wrapper on his own. The silence grew between you two as you stood in the kitchen leaning against the two cabinets on opposite sides of the stove.
“Syd really gave you the prawn to try?” He asked, bringing the ice cream to his mouth after his last word.
You scoffed at how Carmy changed the subject. You knew the prawn comment would stick in his head and eat him alive to ask you about.
“Yea she did, after she asked for you a million times.”
“How was it?” He asked, staring down at the ice cream that now had a bite out of it missing.
“Needs work.”  You pulled your own ice cream away from your mouth, looking down at it before looking over at Carmy.  “It's your recipe she followed isn’t it?”
You knew immediately, it’s why he was asking. Your concern was why he wasn’t at the restaurant with Sydney trying it himself but again, consequences of his own actions. “You know that cherry glaze would be really good on it.” You pointed to your plate of pork ribs, knowing the cherry glaze was her idea.
Carmy pushed off the counter and grabbed one of the takeout containers and made his way to the couch, knowing you were right about the dish. A smile grew on your face as he yelled out to you.
“You really fucking suck.”

bestie 👀 i am here 👀 to request some chan fluff 👀 bc i’m feeling a lil off 🥺 sjshshsjshsjs (feel free to ignore if you’re not up for it haha)
a/n: my ti. as if i could ever ignore you. i hope this helps :(
you’re not having a bad day, perse. it’s just a day where your brain feels like someone reached their hand into it and scrambled it between their fingers, a day where your clothes don’t feel right on your body, a day where you need something but can’t focus enough to determine what that something is.
you muster up the energy to drag yourself from your bed to the couch before you collapse into the cushions. you’re staring idly at your phone for a bit, hoping for a distraction before he swoops in like an angel, standing in front of you with the overhead light haloing around his fluffy hair. his eyes are soft as they look at you, taking in the exhaustion you wish you weren’t feeling.
he takes your phone out of your hand, setting it on the table in front of you and replacing its light weight with his fingers. you let the touch ground you, tangling your own into his in a tight grip. he uses his free hand to smooth back your messy hair for a moment before pulling back completely, leaving your hand dangling and alone.
“where are you going?” you whine, and normally you would hate how needy you sound but right now you really just don’t care.
“blanket fort.” he comes back carrying all of your covers from your bed, pillows stacked haphazardly on top and threatening to topple down as he walks to the couch. he’s pulling you and the couch cushions off next, flitting around your body like a tornado as he places things in an organized mess. it ends up looking decent, and you realize you’ve been watching him a little too intently when he clears his throat at you with a nervous smile.
“perfect,” you smile weakly, climbing onto the floor to settle in the middle while he finds something to put on the TV for you to watch together. he settles on miraculous, your recent guilty pleasure that you’ve been entertaining for the past few weeks. you like to watch it with him because of how he pouts when you talk about adrien, as if he was some kind of competition. silly.
he settles next to you, pulling a blanket over the two of you, the smell of his cologne wafting towards you in a comforting haze.
“oh! i almost forgot!” he leaves again, the blanket falling to the ground in a tangled heap, making you pout while you sit alone waiting for him to get whatever was more important than cuddling with you.
it’s your stuffed wolf, the one he got you from home to have while he was away and you were missing him. your heart swells at the gesture, even more so when he settles it perfectly into your lap and returns to your side, leaning his head on your shoulder. he hums in content, the sweet sound echoing in your ears and settling your mind. you lean into him, lacing your fingers together again while he makes commentary at the show. between the animation and his little quips, there’s too much going on for you to disappear into your mind again. all you can do is wiggle a little closer to him and scrunch your feet into the blanket, completely relaxed.
it looks like you found your something.

“Caught in a web, drunk on love”
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Shutara Senjumaru x Reader
wc : 3100
cw : not really unrequited love // jealousy // misunderstandings // a sprinkle of drama // fluffy floofs
well what can i say. she’s so mommy and i’m a hoe for mommies so i couldn’t help it. always wanted to write something for her but i was just needing that little push which obviously her bankai gave me 😩
▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃
Spider. A creature you have never been too big of a fan of. Those creepy crawlers with their beady eyes and fuzzy limbs are, and will always be the genesis of your nightmares. Simply the idea of the word will forever have dread burgeoning within you and ice cascading down your spine, or so you have believed. Why, then, are flowers blooming inside your chest as you watch the bane of your existence weaving a web? In other words, you are atrociously, irreversibly, positively, and utterly fucked.
In the Soul King Palace, you are one of the less important guards under the direct command of one Shutara Senjumaru. Less important of course than the esteemed Royal Guards, but certainly on par with the strongest of shinigamis. Although there is no official title to it, your position beside your lady is an equivalent of a Lieutenant down in Seireitei.
Ever since the beginning, the divine general of the north, with her onyx hair and golden halo, eyes oozing with mesmerism, and lips a delightful red, but the most arresting of all, her spindly automatonic limbs sprouting from her back like six unworldly wings, has reminded you of a spider: one that is elegant and teeming with splendour. The lady’s introduction into your life has seeded in you a habit of conjuring up her face whenever you see or even think of your once-dreaded friends. In fact, when you think of an eight-legged crawler, you are rarely thinking of one and very much thinking of the six artificially limbed stunner. Hence, you are decisively fucked.
In pursuit of comfort, your hand, as if having a mind of its own, glide towards your waist where a knitted red charm dwells, the tassel of which dangles from the white sash of your uniform. Running delicate fingers along the intricate patterns of fine silk, your lips flourish into a smile.
From socks to scarfs and whatnots, your lady, the great weaver as her name suggests, has tailored many a thing for you. Not only has she remedied a great many holes in your battle worn uniforms, she has also graciously showered you with a miscellany of pristine garments. After all, artisanship is your lady’s forte, occurring as naturally as breathing to her, and her six hands are either sewing, knitting, embroidering or doing all three of it at the same time. She does it with such great finesse and dexterity that she may as well be carving a statue of herself out of your heart, for it worships the very ground she walks on.
When you notice her presence, you smell it before you hear it. Delightfully floral with a touch of dark undertones, heavenly, mysterious and so undoubtedly her.
“It was my understanding that you have a strong dislike for them, no?”
Comes the mesmerising lilt of her voice, glazed with a trickle of tease, and you smile a little, knowing smile, bringing your gaze from the spider to its human counterpart.
“I’ve steadily started finding them charming I’m afraid.” The little blossom of a smile on your lips once you search her eyes is that of softness. Your lady regards you coolly with a barely noticeable smile, drenched in enigma by her siren-eyed gaze, the caress of which is well-nigh tangible on your face. It does a quick travel to your waist, and upon finding the gift that you carry on your body since acquiring it, a hum spills forth a pair of bewitching, blood-red lips.
“Walk with me.”
You take the hand that she offers, smooth, spindly and rather ample in size that you are only truly able to grasp two of her lithe digits.
“With pleasure, my lady.”
“Am I allowed to wonder what exactly is the architect of your change in impression of arachnid? You of yore would flee the site if she so much as catches a glimpse of an itsy-bitsy one, I’m sure.”
You love that she remembers things about you the way you do things about her. She fancies her tea with a drizzle of honey. Not unlike a spider, she does have eight arms, the two of which are of her own flesh and blood, and because she keeps them hidden under her cloak at all times, only a handful of people have witnessed them. You have, during a visit to the hot spring in Kirinden. Nobody has given her a gift personally hand crafted by them, so when you have made for her a braided charm, a very clumsy attempt at that, she has told you that she would cherish it, and cherish it, she does. Despite it being faulty, it has found its forever home tucked safely in the red sash of her outfit, the tassel of it peeking out from under her haori with every elegant step she takes. Playful banter is her favourite pastime and it amuses her greatly that you indulge her. So once again, you do.
“You have every liberty to wonder, my lady. The decision to answer lies in my hand after all. I will say this though, it’s who rather than what.”
“My,” So she drawls in a tone that deliciously tickles your spine, and when she stops, you do too, watching as lips reveal teeth in a kittenish smile. “is that so?”
You have an inkling that to an extent, she knows of your fondness for her, evident in the way she humors you. Judging from her behaviors, she does not appear entirely opposed to it, and you might even go as far as saying that there is a good chance of her considering you should you confess.
Suddenly, a droplet touches your cheek. In the small interval of time that it takes for you to look up, your lady has expertly woven an umbrella out of thin air, all the while her one hand holds onto yours. By the time a drizzle escalates to a downpour, you are well under the protection of your lady’s masterful craft. However, your heart is going haywire, for the space between the two of you has considerably narrowed when your eyes meet. Leaning forward, a cool pad of a thumb presses a delicate kiss onto your cheek, caressing the wetness away from your face which inadvertently leaves a pink tinge in its wake.
“Let’s call it a day, shall we?”
At your nod of approval, she adjusts her hold on you, slipping her fingers just so that your hands are intertwined together. The tips of her robotic digits easily reach your wrist, and when the cool pad of her thumb gingerly traces the hummingbird flutter of your pulse, the little creature coos inside your ribcage.
Roses are red.
The sky is blue.
And oh how you love Senjumaru.
─────────────────  · · · · ✿
“Yoohoo Shutara, look who I found dilly-dallying around!”
The guffaw of Hikifune jolts Senjumaru out of her bath induced reverie. Her head tilts, propped up by her fist, the dark waterfall of her hair swaying slightly as her eyes lazily search her friend.
Think of the devil and the devil is here.
A ghost of a smile graces her lips, for she finds you tucked under the arm of the ruler of grain. It has been a while after all since the two of you have spent time together.
“Can you please unhand me?” More laughter ensues, louder this time, and your request is effectively nipped in the bud. Ruffling your hair, she tugs you closer to the point that you are smothered by her generous bosoms.
“Lady Hikifune, you- you’re-”
Killing me with your breasts! You wanted to say, but instead, you are left a sputtering mess.
“My my, haven’t you bagged yourself a cutie, Shutara!”
Granted, Senjumaru would find the sweet strawberry shade on your cheeks ridiculously charming, that is, if it had been a product of her doing. Certainly not after you have just been called a cutie by a woman who has her breasts shoved into your face.
And so, she rises with all the grace of a nymph, droplets on her body twinkling like little diamonds in the soft light.
“Why Kirio, I thank you on behalf of my girl for escorting her to me,” Meanwhile, she has effortlessly drawn you into her arms, one of which is slithering across your waist. Alas, the little wasp has been caught in a spider’s web. “but if I do recall, you have matters to attend to, have you not? By all means, do not let us hinder you.”
“Ugh now my mood is spoiled, thank you very much Shutara.” The divine general of the south’s voice drips with sarcasm, and that of the north replies just as sarcastically. “Of course.”
“On another note, I smell ya later cutie!”
With a wink thrown towards your way, the cheery general is gone.
“Wild woman.” Murmurs Senjumaru as two fingers pinch the bridge of her nose.
You on the other hand, through the flimsy fabric of your robe, can feel her body pressing into your back; all the ridges and the valleys, every dip and dent, and lord is she so wonderfully soft.
Suddenly, along with a ghost of a breath on the shell of your ear, her voice greets you. “Hello there, my girl.” Like a dollop of butter on a pile of warm, fluffy pancakes, you melt, all giddy and toasty inside. “Now that you’re here, could I trouble you to give my hair a wash?”
“It’s no trouble at all. I’d be delighted to.” You do not dare turn lest your legs fail you, and in a desperate need of a moment of reprieve for your sorry little heart, you chance a glance at her. “Why don’t you go relax in the water, my lady. I’ll be right with you.”
There is a beat of silence before you feel hands on your hips and a delicate touch of lips on your nape.
“Do not keep me waiting for too long.”
The milkiness of her skin practically glows in the warm water while her luscious mane, like the finest of silks, effortlessly slips through your fingers. The urge to bury your nose in her silky smooth strands is strong, but not as strong as the urge to nuzzle your face in the exquisite beauty of a neck that is captivating you from beneath those onyx mane. Lost in a daydream, you do not realise that you have paused amidst your task until your lady turns towards you. Without so much as a warning, she pulls you into the pool. The sorry excuse of a cloth on your body gives way to water, and you mirror your lady in that you are now thoroughly soaked and bare.
Her gaze roams, and you notice the exact moment that the warm mischievous glint in her eyes goes glacial. She has seen your body, or rather the marks peppered across your neck and chest in varying shades of red. Her face is unreadable, the very picture of aloofness, and although it stings, although it seems as if a chasm has suddenly appeared between the two of you, you try to bridge it, take a step, an olive branch of sorts. It is your darkest nightmare comes true however when she avoids the hand that reaches for her, a look of, dare you say, disgust etched onto her face, and without so much as a word, she takes leave.
What have you done wrong, you do not understand.
All you know is that you feel discarded as though you are but a stale meal.
─────────────────  · · · · ✿
To have been branded by this enchantress of a woman and afterwards carry the very traces of herself on your body, even with a good chance that she will no longer have any recollection of your little moment together, has filled you with bliss as much as having her mouth on your flesh did.
Although her mien has betrayed nothing and she was the very picture of poise, you knew she was drunk as soon as endearments fell freely from her lips. “My darling sweetheart” so she has called you, and you have been too naive, too lovesick to believe that, albeit being under the influence of liquor, she has peppered you with kisses while thinking of you, while still being aware that it was on your body that she was leaving her traces. Alas, it has never crossed your mind that you would turn out to be a cheap substitute for the one she truly desires.
“Oi oi Lady Senjumaru has brought a girl to her palace.”
When you have heard such murmurs amongst the guards, as selfish as it is, you were hoping it to be a falsehood.
Your little glimmer of a hope is crushed into smithereens once you are summoned to her chambers only to have your heart join the pile of dust on the ground. Nestled in your lady’s arms like a baby bird, a naked girl mewls and trembles whilst red lips leave messy kisses along her jaw and down the length of her neck.
The spider is making a show of devouring its prey, but instead of fear, you fall victim to pain, oh wretched, unforgiving pain. She is being deliberately cruel because ultimately, you are an audience to this play only due to her invitation.
“My darling little sweetheart.” And you watch, drenched in melancholy, as your lady savours the lips of someone who is not you.
Oh.
“You.” Comes the voice, indifferent unlike the loving coo that was just uttered to the girl cradled close to her chest. “I want you to tidy up my place while I take my darling home.”
Oh.
A nod, or rather, a bow is all you can manage so as not to bare your features that is now marred with an endless cascade of tears.
─────────────────  · · · · ✿
Peeved would be a horrible understatement. It does not bode well with Senjumaru that while you were all she could think about, you had been cosying up to another, who, for all she knows, could have been one of her friends. Judging from the little display the other day, it could very well have been Kirio. How laughable she must have appeared, being all overly defensive for naught.
She admits however that she was unnecessarily cruel with her reaction, and that her little act of revenge was childish at best. Essentially, she has only herself to blame, misinterpreting your innocent admiration for her to be something else, something sacred. And now, with that calloused display of hers, she might have even ruined the bond that the two of you have shared.
No matter how she reasons with herself, it still perturbs her after all, and once again, something ugly rears its head when she finds more of those lingering hickeys on your body while she crosses paths with you in Kirinden.
Good and evil play a tug of war, and evil emerges victorious.
“Back from another fun, I presume?”
“Why do you care?”
“My, what gives you the impression that I do? I’m merely curious which one of my comrades’ bed one of my guards is diligently warming every night.”
“Curiosity kills the cat, Lady Senjumaru.”
Rising out of the pool like a predator on a hunt, she corners her prey. Whereas her spindly arms manipulate you so that you are facing away from her and then, trap you against the wall, her two hands find home in the dip of your hips, pulling you until your back fits into the curve of her body.
“And oh does it pounce!” Growls the hunter as lips find your nape, teeth bestowing bruises and tongue soothing stings, all the while you shake like a leaf in her bodily confine.
Her hands wander over to your ribcage, holding you there, thumbing the soft underside of your breasts. It has your back curving into her body.
“Swift work is my biggest selling point, you understand. Do not underestimate the name of Senjumaru.” The sinking of her teeth directly into the throbbing vein on your neck triggers your fingers to dig into the flesh of her thigh. “Shu- ngh- Shutara.”
Senjumaru remembers a dream, an all too tantalising dream. In it, her charming little prey was deliciously caught in her web, and the great weaver has taken her sweet time savouring the delectable creature. What a divine little thing her prey was, squirming in her grasp and panting her name, ambrosia to her ears, while her mouth has mapped as many inches of skin as she could manage, committing everything to memory. It stays with her even when dawn breaks, except that, the dream she had was all but a dream, eluded Senjumaru.
Amidst her arm twining round your chest, she hears it, a broken little sound that is but a tiny whisper.
“Why are you doing this to me?”
The lady turns you in her arms. With gentle fingers, she tucks a few wayward strands behind your ears to reveal more of her colourful works, which she gingerly traces with a delicate digit.
“These were my doing.” It is not a query, merely a statement.
“I understand that you have mistaken me for someone else.” You release a sigh, eyes slipping shut when a thumb presses onto a particularly sore spot. “So please, just let me be.”
“Is that what you want of me? To let you be?”
“What I want doesn’t matter.”
“Why doesn’t it matter?” Your attempt to flee from her gaze is effectively put to an end by a hand cradling your jaw. Mindlessly, a thumb bestows soft caresses to the apple of your cheek. “Answer me.”
“It just doesn’t, alright? Because I’m not- I’m not what you want.” When you look into her eyes, she finds in yours the first dew of tears, and before they could escalate into a cloudburst, she pulls you into her six-armed embrace, your face safely tucked into the nook of her neck. Along with a soft lingering press of a kiss atop your temple, she breathes her words into your skin. “Though I have a penchant for darning, it seems I’m superb at tearing the one thing I want perfectly weaved.”
“I hate you, my lady.” By the way your hands are fisting into her flesh as though your life depends on it, she begs to differ, though she only indulges you, a ghost of a smile hanging loosely on her lips. “Do you now?”
“Very much so. I hate that I love you.”
“Oh, but my dearest, how I love that you love me.”

Ray Gun
“I keep telling you, it’s not a ray gun. I don’t even know what a ray gun is. The elliptic dish is designed to focus the right frequency range of delta waves, but in general, once the network is trained, you don’t even need the dish. Due to the inverse square law for...you know what, never mind. Just sit for a few more minutes while it finishes collecting data.”
Dr. Gehirn looked every bit the mad scientist with his long white lab coat and disheveled hair. Charlotte, for her, part, made the perfect co-ed victim, her long blonde hair and ditzy smile belying her status as an honors student. Electrical engineering and computer science had never been her forte though, so she had been happily quizzing the doctor about his latest experiment even as she participated in it.
“Oh, that’s what these doohickeys are doing, right?” she pointed a manicured and painted fingernail up toward her temple and to one of the electrodes stuck to it with a dot of conducting gel. “That’s so you can read all my brainwaves and stuff, right?”
The doctor sighed. She would be worth it at least, even as tedious as this part was. Despite appearances, she was smart and capable, and, more importantly, trusting. Even if somehow it didn’t work, she would go on her way, none the wiser, not suspecting a thing. “That’s right, Charlotte. Although, they really just make it easier to record. Brainwaves can be picked up from quite a distance, particularly if you know what you are looking for. And in just another moment,” he glanced over to a monitor filled with various windows of numbers and wave forms. “we’ll know exactly what we are looking for.” Another torrent of numbers printed onto the screen. “There we are. The network has now been tuned to your particular brainwave spectrum.”
“Oh neat! So it can like, read my thoughts?” Charlotte bubbled.
“Something like that. But more interesting to my research is the inverse problem. It should actually be able to predict what causes your thoughts. It just needs to validate first. One moment.” The doctor typed furiously for a second, finishing with an overly dramatic stab at the enter key. “This might feel a little odd. You might even feel some strange emotions or feel like thoughts are popping into your head that have no place there. That’s okay. The network is still just learning.”
“So are you making an artificial intelligence thing or something? Oh, is it going to try to act like me or think like me or something? It’d be like I had a twin or something, only it’s a computer. That would be...woa...woah...that’s...um...” Charlotte rocked unsteadily in her seat, a look of concern crossing her face for the first time.
“It’s an artificial neural network, not AI. Everyone confuses them, but it really just a matter of multiplying...ugh, forget it. I’m sorry, my dear, if this is a little unpleasant. It’s just confirming that it can generate the right emotional or mental state based on an electromagnetic input, and it’s quickly cycling through several of them, which must be quite disconcerting. It will pass quickly, I promise.”
“I...I don’t know how I feel. I’m angry for a moment, then excited, then I feel like I want to laugh...it...I don’t think I like it. I think I want it to stop.” She started to reach up toward one of the wires dangling from her head.
“I told you, those are just sensors. The signal is being generated here. We probably don’t even need the contact probes anymore. But there, it all seems to be working correctly. Now the intensity check. How are you feeling right...now?”
Charlotte paused, her hand dangling in the air, looking lost in thought. “I feel...calm...really calm. Just relaxed.” Her hand slowly dropped back down to her side. “Like everything is fine. I thought I should be nervous because you keep messing with my thoughts and some of them felt...strange. But none of that matters right now. I feel happy...content...”
“Very good. And now?” he asked, tapping away at the keyboard.”
“I’m...scared. I’m more scared than I’ve ever been. I still feel so calm though. Passive...But you can mess with my head. You can make me feel what you want with that thing. You were giving me thoughts earlier...and now I’m feeling angry. I feel like you tricked me. You lured me here to mess with my head and I hate you for it. I feel like I want to hurt you...
“It’s so amazing that you were able to make a ray gun that can control my emotions like this. You are so incredibly brilliant. And it’s such an honor that you are testing it on me first. It was my mind you wanted to control first and that’s so exciting...that’s so...hot...mmm....those thoughts you were given me earlier. I don’t think I was supposed to notice them with everything else going on. But I could see myself...with you. I was on my knees looking up at you, and you were so...” Charlotte groaned as she rubbed her thighs together.
The doctor smiled at his subject. “You are doing so well. Thank you for talking through what you were thinking and feeling. You are very perceptive. This...ray gun...is able to control your feelings now. And it can give you thoughts. It knows your mind well enough to give exactly the stimulus to produce whatever response it wants with...” He took the mouse and flicked the scroll wheel over one of the many windows showing row after row of inscrutable numbers. “ 97.4% accuracy. That can probably get a little higher with some more data. But it is certainly good enough for our purposes today. Because you want this now, don’t you? You want me to control your thoughts. You want me to control you. It excites you, doesn’t it?”
The heat between Charlotte’s legs had been building the whole time he spoke. He seemed so powerful to her now. So intelligent and commanding and incredible. Who wouldn’t want to let him think for them? “Yes! More than anything. Use your ray gun on me. Decide what I think. Decide what I feel. Decide who I am. Take my mind! Use it! Or just tell me what to do. Tell me what to think. You don’t even need your invention. Control me. Take me! It makes me so hot. Make me yours. Own me forever!”
Dr. Gehirn chuckled softly. “Quite the response. I wonder how much of this is my doing and how much we just awakened something inside of you. No matter. There may be a small issue with the ‘forever’ you just mentioned. It will take much more research, but it isn’t clear at all that these effects last much longer than stimuli are being input into your delta band. Given some time, your brain will probably resume it’s original thought patterns with no more than a memory of how you behaved.”
Charlotte was heartbroken. She hadn’t known it 5 minutes ago, but it was so clear to her now that she wanted nothing more than to be this man’s slave. To give her mind and body to him. To be his plaything. His property. His toy. She felt like she could cry.
“Oh no, none of that. There is another possibility. You see, the longer your thoughts are entrained by the signal, the harder it gets to snap back. Little by little, you forget to think on your own. Left long enough, your mind would willingly think whatever it was told and forget it ever came up with any thoughts on its own. Then I could put whatever I wanted in that pretty little head of yours, and it would never occur to you to think anything different. How does that sound?”
Tears were beginning to well up in Charlotte’s eyes now. How did it sound? She couldn’t imagine anything making her happier. She was too emotional to speak. She nodded her head vigorously.
“Good girl.” He smiled the warmest smile at her and she felt herself melt on the spot. “This might feel a little like going to sleep. We are going to gradually withdraw the signal until your mind is doing nothing at all and then slowly and steadily begin putting thoughts into your head. They might feel like dreams but more vivid...more intense, more...permanent.” He clicked his mouse a few times and, pausing for a moment to look her up and down again, pressed a single key.
“And now your ray gun will work on me forever?” Charlotte asked, a smile growing and growing on her face. “You can control my thoughts for good?”
Doctor Gehirn nodded. “That’s right, Charlotte.” Her eyes slowly grew wider. Her mouth fell open. Another moment passed and her eyes rolled back, fluttering as new ideas and a new self were written into her mind. “And the first thing we are going to do is teach you the proper technical name for this device.”
Her legs fell open as her body relaxed more and the doctor noticed just how excited the experiment had made her. “Well...maybe the second thing.”

Naked in That Garden

Aziraphale x Fem!Reader x Crowley
Catch and Release Prompt: "Incentive"
Summary: (18+) Crowley discovers an incentive for staying in your body a little while longer. Can be read on its own or as a sequel to Out There Making DuckTales.
Soundtrack: the fruits by Paris Paloma
Requests: Open!
Warnings: :)
"Oi, what's that?" the voice in your head asked.
You snapped out of your reverie with a start. "What's what?" you asked distractedly, looking around for an answer that wasn't there.
"That," Crowley hissed, his... essence? soul? coiling around parts of you that left heat pooling between your legs.
"Crowley," you gasped desperately, nails digging into the wood of the desk you sat at as he did it again experimentally.
The problem was that now a new toy had been dangled in front of him, and Crowley was unlikely to back away -- unless he got bored, or broke it. And, even worse, it was unlikely he'd found and decided to play with those particular bits of you on his own -- something had drawn his attention there.
His essence squeezed around you again, bringing forth a strangled yelp just as Aziraphale walked in.
You didn't dare look at him, but could practically feel the concern rolling off of him as he approached you. His hand on your shoulder was comfortingly warm, but really only served to make you more desperate.
"My dear, you look ill."
Great. You could only imagine what that meant.
His hand not on your shoulder touched your forehead lightly. You glanced up at it and just managed to catch his frown. "You're flushed, but you don't have a fever. How odd."
He helped you to a stand and led you towards the stairs.
You nearly collapsed as Crowley's wandering interest honed in on the bud nestled between your thighs. Aziraphale caught you, looking deeply worried, but you weren't really sure how to tell him your demon houseguest had found the game room.
You were led into a bedroom and sat on the bed, and in your distracted haze you barely noticed Aziraphale leave, and certainly didn't hear his words as he did.
"I h-hope you're satif-fied," you gasped as Crowley tickled your insides.
"Oh, very," his voice hissed in your head. "This feels amazing. What is it?"
On one hand, you found it a little hard to believe a six thousand year old demon didn't know what he was doing to you. On the other, they'd both told you before that they didn't have human bodies so much as tangible objects that vaguely resembled human bodies from the outside.
So maybe he was being honest.
You wiped your brow, pushing back some strands of slicked hair, and released a huff as you leaned back. One hand supported you while the other dipped beneath the waistband of your jeans, inching ever closer to the heat between your legs.
"Do you really not know?" you asked, panting.
"I don't. Human physiology isn't really my forte."
"Do you want to?"
"I do."
That was all you needed to slip your fingers into your folds, index and middle pressing into your cunt while your thumb circled your clit. At first you weren't sure if your pleasure reached Crowley, but then your heard your moan echoed in and around you.
It was weird, to be getting yourself off like this. But something about it definitely turned you on.
"C-Crowley," you panted, slowing down for a moment so you could think.
"Yes, darling?" he purred.
"Can you... d-do you think you could... fill me?"
"Fill you?"
"Yes -- where my fingers are."
A moment later and your cunt felt full in a way you couldn't ever hope to describe. Technically, there was nothing there besides your fingers -- at least, visually speaking. But you could definitely feel Crowley's weight inside you, and it drew forth an obscene moan.
You only remembered Aziraphale when you heard a glass shatter on the wooden floor, and your eyes flew open to see him standing in the doorway, eyes bulging and mouth hanging slack.
"A-Azira--"
You fell silent as he came forward. His eyes blazed as he took in your flushed face, the sheen of sweat covering every inch of your skin, your hand buried in your jeans.
"Really, dear," he said with a click of his tongue. "If you needed help you really should've just asked."
"Wh..."
He snapped his fingers -- no doubt to miracle away the glass -- and then honed his focus back in on you. His gaze was hot and heavy, like a sun that burned bright enough to blind, but you couldn't help but stare into.
"Aziraphale," you whimpered, blinking the building tears of desperation out of your eyes.
"Hush, now, my dear." His voice was impossibly soft, loving, as he leaned forward and cupped your cheek in his hand, his thumb brushing a tear away as yours brushed your clit. "Would you like my help?"
Crowley chose that moment to expand himself -- not enough to cause pain, but enough to leave you crying out, only able to answer Aziraphale in a wordless nod.
He leaned forward to kiss you, his lips tender against your own. His one hand remained on your cheek, while his other gently pulled your hand away from your cunt.
"N-no," you sobbed, but he shushed you with another kiss.
"It's all right," he reassured you. He snapped again and you were hit with a sudden chill as your clothes disappeared. Before you could complain, Aziraphale guided you down onto the bed, his now bare body hovering over you as his eyes trailed over your prone form. "Oh, aren't you lovely?"
Crowley gave an assenting hum as he squirmed inside you, eliciting another cry from you.
Aziraphale trailed kisses down your neck and chest, stopping to suckle at your breasts for a moment before he made his way back up.
"Angel," Crowley said, "how do you know what to do here?"
It was a great question. Of the two, you would've expected Crowley to know more about this particular activity.
"I read," the angel answered simply before he pulled you into a loving kiss.
You whimpered into his lips, nails clawing at his back in a desperate bid to coax him into action.
He blessedly understood your silent plea and responded by rocking his hips forward. You were, just for a moment, certain he used a miracle to drive home on his first try, but then all thoughts disappeared as you were filled to capacity.
Maybe even beyond.
It still didn't hurt, but the pressure left you gasping and your ache for release left you sobbing.
Aziraphale tsked above you. "Crowley, really, did you have to leave her in such a state?"
"How was I supposed to know that's what that button did?"
Aziraphale sighed as he pulled back. There was little relief as he was quick to pitch forward, filling you once again. And as he filled you back up, through your own wail you heard Crowley moan. And you could tell Aziraphale heard it too by the sudden glint in his eyes.
The angel, ever kind, shifted so that his next thrust in his your G-spot, and then he hammered at it relentlessly. Your screams were muffled by his kisses as he drove into that bundle of nerves over and over.
Crowley wriggled inside you, part of him filling your cunt while part of him shifted to toy with your clit.
It only took about ten seconds (if that) for your screams to become silent wails of pleasure. Tears streamed freely, though Aziraphale was quick to brush them away. And only a few seconds after your voice failed you, you began shaking from the strain of the building pleasure, from your desperate need for a release that was torturously close.
A few more snaps of his hips, and suddenly the dam burst.
Your whole body twitched and tensed into an arc, cunt clenching around Aziraphale so tightly that he had to pause mid-thrust. You wished you could scream, but no sound came out as your orgasm blazed through you like wildfire.
You barely registered Crowley's retreat into some other recess of your body, or that Aziraphale shifted so that the two of you were sitting up with you perched in his lap and leaned against his shoulder.
You eased into him as your orgasm faded, limply plastered against him like an overcooked noodle. He stroked your damp hair as you came down, your breaths rough pants against his shoulder.
"That's it," he and Crowley cooed together.
"You did so beautifully, my dear," Aziraphale sighed happily.
And, just to you, Crowley all but purred, "If ever I thought something divine, it'd be the image of you naked and gleaming."

“Sarah is here, Im gonna go say hi,” I let go of Nick’s arm, walking towards a friend of mine.
There was a huge event happening tonight, the alley covered in flowers and garland lights, drinks served all around, people dressed in black and white. Rich people.
I didn’t wanna go at first, but they promised drinks and I loved getting some fun with those. Nick found himself a company, two old men, probably talking about some business shit. That wasn’t my forte, I was not interested in the slightest, so I made my way straight to Sarah.
Right when I was about to approach her, my eyes spotted a familiar figure. He looked, damn, he looked even hotter than before — white shirt was half unbuttoned, apparently he was wearing all his shirts like that, his little necklace dangled on the neck, black jacket and pants tight and tailored. Fuck me. I was staring and only snapped out if it when someone accidentally pushed past me.
Me and JJ haven’t spoken for three days and it drove me fucking insane. I was wondering what he was doing there anyways.
There were tables and plates and silverware and cards with participant’s names. I snatched one, fished out a lip liner from my bag. JJ was still there, laughing and squeezing Sarah’s shoulder. It looked like he was about to leave, so I wrote down a message right as I hurried forward. It said ‘Meet me on the shore at 10:15. Right side.’
There was a sea line down the alley, one side had moored yachts and ships, the other was in the dark, empty, now that it was around 10 PM it stood still and quiet.
“Hey, Sarah!” I waved at her, making my way closer, giving her a tight hug, JJ remained on the same spot. I met a pair of blue eyes staring at me, there was something in those eyes that looked a lot like relief, like he was waiting for me to be here.
“Hi baby,” Sarah exclaimed, patting my back, “Long time no see! This is JJ Maybank, I assume you heard of him.”
“I have,” I gave him a smile, stretching my arm out to give a handshake, slipping him a note as well.
“Don’t believe everything you hear, those are all lies,” he chuckled, clutching the card in his fist.
“Pleasure to meet you,” I murmured, watching him biting his smile back. I was so desperate to kiss him.
“The pleasure’s all mine.” He grinned and excused himself, walking in unknown direction. We chatted a little more with Sarah. She caught me up on all the news with her boyfriend, she also mentioned J again, saying he finally got the job as a security guard there.
We took a drink together, then her parents stole her away from me. It was nearly the time so I sneaked down to the shore only to find JJ already waiting there.
“You haven’t called.”
“I know.”
He walked closer, stopping a few inches away from me, his huge palms engulfed mine, his gaze fixated on our hands.
“So I heard you’ve gotten the job?”
“Mhm,” he smiled faintly at me, finally meeting my eyes, “I’m sorry, I figured you wouldn’t wanna talk to me. This sounds so stupid, but I guess I was just scared of you rejecting me so much I chose not to hear anything from you at all.”
“I always want to talk to you.”
The moment got so intimate, we were hidden in the dark, soft warm wind caressed our skin and messed with our hair, he looked so handsome, so inhumanly handsome I was ready to take him right there.
He pressed his forehead to mine as he held my face in his hands, trying to resist me so hard. His face scrunched up, like he was in pain and his jaws tightened, “I can’t stop thinking about you, I can’t get you out of my fucking system. That’s why I haven’t been calling. I thought that would help to ease, to forget, but how can I forget you?”
I kissed him. I kissed him deep, trying to fit all my love for him in that kiss, slowly and deliberately. Now I was the one holding his face as he pressed me further into his body by my waist.
When our lips parted, he panted, hard, like he couldn’t believe he was kissing me, like he was scared he will never kiss me again. It felt the same for me.
He dove in for more, catching my bottom lip in between his, not willing to let go of me.
Someone started yelling up the alley, I recognised a familiar voice. That was Nick’s.
“We need to get back,” he rasped, our noses still brushing.
“I’ll find you later, I promise,” I planted one more kiss on his lips.
He ran to the alley to see what happened as I walked past him.
There was a fight between two guys, one of them was Nick. I saw them kicking each other in the face, so much rage, I felt uncomfortable.
“Stop it! Stop it now!” I yelled, approaching the scenery, noticing JJ already dragging the other guy away from my boyfriend and some other security holding Nick back.
“You motherfucker,” a guy who started a fight yelled in Nick’s face, shoving JJ off of his back, accidentally hitting him in the face, “You touch her again, I’ll smash your fucking face against the wall.” He spat out some blood and turned to walk away. My face was filled with terror, my eyes started watering, Maybank was behind covering his whole cheek, I could see he was in pain.
“What the fuck was that?” I snapped at Nick, my jaws gritted. I was so mad at him, but the fight was nothing compared to the truth I found out later.
“Nothing,” he shoved past me heading to the bathroom.
I didn’t go after him.
“Someone bring the first aid kit,” I called as everyone kept staring in shock, “Now!”
“Here,” an old lady handed me a tiny bag.
“I’ll do it,” a brunette girl tried to snatch the bag away from me, she looked like a barbie, that was sickening.
“No,” I protested, gripping the material tighter, “I’m starting med school, need practice,” I gave her a fake smile, grasping the bag and turned back to JJ, he was hiding a chuckle.
He had a busted lip, it didn’t look as bad, but still needed some treatment. I helped him down on a bench, the rest of guests returned to what they were doing, except for a few curious, who still started at us from afar.
“Med school huh?” He grinned, hissing at the pain and licking his lips.
“I lied,” I grinned back, “Does it hurt a lot?” “It’s fine. I’ve had it worse. Don’t even need the first aid, but since it’s you’re the one doing it, I might actually pretend I’m in so much pain and stay here with you.”
I let out a happy sigh, pouring some alcohol onto a cotton pad, gently applying it around his wound, wiping the blood, “Now hold this for a while,” I scooped some ice from a champagne bucket and wrapped it into a napkin, pressing it against the corner of his lip.
Suddenly someone clamped my wrist, my head swivelled back to see Nick standing tall behind me. He looked angry.
“Let go,” JJ also stood up towering over me, I was caught in between them two.
“Who are you?” Nick snapped, jerking me, “Get up, we have to go.”
“I’m not going anywhere until you explain what the fuck happened here.”
I freed myself from his hold, my back was facing JJ now, I felt the warmth of his body behind mine. It was so tempting, just to lean back and sink into the enticement of his body.
“I’ll explain later.”
“Now, Nick.”
“I’ll leave you two to it,” JJ whispered in my ear, his fingertips brushed my hip, catching a hem of my silky dress, I wished he ripped it off of me. A whiff of his cologne caught my senses and for a second I felt my body weakening, lost in that night we spent together, “Find you later.”
“So?” my attention went back to the guy in front of me, “Who was that, what happened? Why did you fight?”
“I’ve been cheating on you.”
I froze on the spot. That meant it didn’t happen only once. That story took an interesting turn, I remained silent waiting for him to spill more.
“I screwed young girls, from eighteen to twenty. One of the latest only turned eighteen a week ago, that was her brother.”
“For how long?”
“Months.”
“I cheated on you too.”
“What?” His eyes widened, “You don’t mean it. You’re only saying it to hurt me, you’re fucking lying.”
“What makes you think that?” I licked my dry lips and stepped closer, “This haven’t been working for a while now and I see why. Things started feeling off back in November, let me guess this was the time you started fucking around? The only thing I don’t understand is why you kept being in this relationship, your parents hate me, you don’t have anything for me. That is fucking pathetic. It’s where we end. I fucked up too, but I’m happy I did. Goodbye Nick.”
I plopped down on the bench, gulping a glass of champagne. JJ was standing with two girls, chatting about something. He was smiling.
I pulled out my phone and send him a text, ‘Going home. Come in for a drink after work.’ I also put my address in there and hit send.
Back in my house I felt relieved. Heels off and I poured myself a glass of wine, realising I haven’t eaten anything in hours. I put an apron on to keep my dress clean, turned the music louder to brighten up the mood and started cooking.
It didn’t take me too long to boil some pasta and make a sauce for it all. I swung my wine in my glass, taking tiny gulps.
A sudden knock on the door startled me, I turned the music down, heading to the entrance. JJ was there, he was hiding something behind his back. Involuntary, I smiled, twisting the lock and opening the door for him to come in.
“You came.”
“That’s what she said,” he whispered, grinning like an idiot.
I smacked him in the shoulder, “You just ruined a movie worth moment,” I said playfully, closing the door behind, “Are you hungry?”
“I’ve got something for you,” he pulled out a tiny bouquet of sunflowers handing it to me, “Met a granny passing the street, selling those, thought you might like it.”
“Can I kiss you,” my voice came out as a whisper as I accepted the flowers and walked closer.
“If you want.”
I let the bouquet rest on the coffee table, tiptoeing closer, winding my arms around JJ’s neck, planting a kiss on his lips. He tasted like alcohol, smoke and mint, “I want more than just to kiss you.”
“Oh fuck, come here.” He made me jump up, his fingers dug into my hips, holding me tight against his torso. We made it to the couch, he was hard, I could feel it through this trousers.
I made a deliberate move, making him groan into the kiss and press me tighter into him. His hair was ticking my forehead, I could feel a subtle stubble on his cheeks, he smelled nice, musky, there was a hint of spice in his cologne. “This is a really nice fucking dress, but it will have to go off.”
Lust swirled in his eyes, his ocean blue turned dark. My fingers undid the rest of the buttons and I spread his shirt open, scratching a path down his chest and his stomach, finding his belt and zipper. His pants and underwear went down the floor to rest around his ankles, his cock sprung out, hard, leaking, begging for attention.
His eyes turned molten, skimming my body, stopping at my panties, “Off.”
“No,” I replied, smirking, sliding off of his lap and kneeling in front of him. My fist wrapped around his cock and I gave him a few gentle strokes, planting a kiss on his tip, before sticking my tongue out and running a stripe up the underside of his base. JJ’s eyes fluttered closed, his hand settled in my hair and a groan fell from his lips when mine swirled around his broad head lapping it over and took him in. I moaned at the taste of him in my mouth, sending vibrations through his body, my head bobbed up and down slowly, one of my hands scratched his thigh.
“Fuck, yes,” he moaned, twisting my hair tighter, slightly pushing me down, his cock hitting the back of my throat, “Come up here,” he demanded, pulling me up, sliding my panties off and sitting me down on him, “Wanna kiss you, while I fuck you.”
He gave me some time to adjust, his palms were heavy on my hips as his lips teased my neck, making me whimper and start grinding back and forth.
“J—“ I whispered, locking my eyes with his, staring into the deep blue, my fingers fiddling with his necklace, “I don’t want you to go, ever.”
“What about—“ “We’re not together anymore, we broke up.”
His lips found mine again in a hot, lustful kiss as he started pounding into me harder, picking up the pace, making my breaths hitch and my nails dig into the skin of his shoulders. “Does that mean you’re mine now?” He rasped, unable to catch his own breath, locking his eyes with mine.
“As long as you want me to,” I murmured, pressing a kiss to his lips,  feeling my high too close. I nuzzled his neck to cover my whimpers, his hold on my body tightened, his eyes squeezed shut and so did mine. My clit brushed his pelvis as he lengthened his strokes, his groan was muffled by my collarbone. Thick warm ropes of cum filled me in, that spurred me to come harder, creaming over his cock, sensitive and out of breath, dizzy.
I tug on his hair, still moving on top of him, whining under his ear, “Fuck, I— You feel so good.”
He gave me another kiss, his thumb brushed my lower lip as I studied his face, a thin layer of sweat coated his forehead, his hair a mess. He was fucked out. “Stay the night?” I whispered, mindlessly drawing patterns on his chest, feeling him softening inside me.
“Yeah?”
“Mhm, I’ve got wine, pasta and a second pillow.”
“That sounds like a date.”
“It might become one.”

"The only regret I have is that I will never get to read the novel you will write," Dazai sighed into the night sky. Below him, Yokohama's city lights twinkled with life bustling despite the late hour. The stars and the moon shine down upon him when he had fulfilled his purpose in this lifetime; to take Mori's place as the Port Mafia's boss and make sure that Odasaku would take his place in the Detective Agency.
A wistful smile graced his lips as he took a step back into the arms of certain death and for a brief moment, he had found peace in his rise and imminent fall. No longer would he have to play the cards of the antagonist of a story he had written himself, and yet, it had always been that way. The story of his life was haunted by the antagonist that he had painted himself out to be.
Such relief was of short duration as a pair of hands grabbed his wrist. He stopped falling.
"[Name]..?" Disbelief wrapped itself around Dazai's throat like a fine wire.
Tightly, your hands grasped his wrist. Face red and your body hanging over the edge, held by a mere thread, you called out his name in agonizing tones of sorrow and grief. "Dazai! Don't die, again! I'm begging you..," you trailed off. Tears rolled down the apples of your cheeks and dropped onto his face. "This once..live with me."
How cruel this world was that he created. As Dazai had swung the pen, he had calculated the risk of including you in the world in which he wanted nothing more than his dearest friend to live, write his novel and live the life he was once robbed of. Even for you, Dazai had written a fairytale of a life with a lover who could love you like he never could, a job you liked and all the smaller things in life you had always appreciated.
Not even Dazai could've predicted that he was rooted so deeply in your heart that you would overcome the power of the book he had made his own. Against all odds, against all the words he had squeezed into a single page, you had shattered his plan from start to finish. All he wanted was to die without causing trouble for anyone, but even in a different lifetime in which he was the enemy, the boss of the Port Mafia, he caused you nothing but heartache.
Dazai could feel it in your tears that dampened his face.
"Belladonna," he said with a smile upon his lips, "would you please let go?"
"How do you expect me to let go, huh?!," you screamed at the top of your lungs until your voice cracked. Pulling all your might together, you tried your best to pull Dazai back on the rooftop, but physical strength was never your forte. If anything, your feet slid two steps towards the edge whenever you took a step forward.
Huffs of air escaped your lips. "I don't care what world we live in! It won't change my feelings for you, you dumbass! You can't just leave me here! I need you!"
Dazai looked at you with widened eyes. Nothing but pain he caused you and you still declared your love to him like it was the first and last time and judging by the way you were struggling to save his life, it really was the first and last time he'd get to hear you say those words. His feet dangled in the air, his body jolted each time you'd stumble in despair and with fear in your eyes.
What were you so afraid of? Losing him? You should be glad to get rid of a person as twisted as he was.
"If you don't let go, you will die." Dazai saw the tips of your shoes. Silently, he basked in your touch even though it was stricken by fear, anxiety and everything that could cause one's heart to stop. "You don't want to die, do you?"
And then it hit you. You didn't want to die. But you refused to live in a world where Dazai never annoyed you by messing up your hair. A world in which he would never keep you in bed for five more minutes, a world in which he would never give you his favorite book filled with his own thoughts and marked lines that touched him.
"You're right. I don't want to die." The strength in your arms and legs was running thin and was enough for one last pull. You'd let this last tug of war decide your fate; or maybe this was merely wishful thinking, a dot of hope that you'd make it and hit Dazai over the head real good. "But I refuse to let you be the only one who dies tonight!"
Dazai looked at you with wide eyes as you pulled him up towards the edge, lungs out of breath and sweat coating your delicate hands. If you hadn't been so weak from all the prior pulling and tugging, then maybe you could've made it. Yes, Dazai thought you genuinely could've saved him, but you were weak.
And so it happened that Dazai's weight pulled you over the skyscraper's edge with a yelp slipping your lips. But even so, you never let go of his hand even though he could've begged you to do so. Perhaps, he had wanted to see you one last time and die by your side like he always used to say. Perhaps this was the benevolence of fate that bound your lives and death together like a rope.
"I'm sorry," you muttered as the air whipped against your face and pushed your hair out of your face. Dazai pulled you flush to his body, a content smile resting on his lips as he held you impossibly closer and fell towards certain death with you.
You clung to him. "In the afterlife, I vow to find you again.
Dazai saw the end of the line for the both of you. "Until we meet again, Belladonna."
