Appearance:

Jojo and Koko are twins with ginger hair.(the orange is stronger than previously thought) They tend to dye the tips of their hair in corresponding pink or blue but are known to change to random colors often.

Koko has blue eyes and usually wears bright colors like yellow and pink. She keeps her hair short to keep it out of the way during Gymnastics. She enjoys festive designs with polkadots. Koko ties ribbons to her wrists to use for later.

Jojo has pink eyes and usually wears muted black and white clothes. He has long hair he keeps tied up with a colorful ribbon given to him by Koko. He prefers clothes that are elegant. He loves ruffled sleeves.

Personality:

Koko is energetic and bubbly. She loves to play pranks and showing off any trick she learns. This leads to causing a lot of trouble. Koko enjoys doing slapstick with her brother where she pranks him.

Jojo is more reserved, he tries to entertain people but getting pied in the face or popping his balloon animals just makes people laugh. He actually likes this.

Backstory:

The twins are the only children of their family after Ace swore off risking having multiples again.

The twins grew up traveling with their parents. Ace was a celebrity magician and toured around the world for shows and Yuu is still a certified jester who performs in select venues for parties.

The twins naturally took after them. Koko wants to be an acrobat and Jojo wants to be a Pierrot.

If people were to describe them you'd compare them to those happy and sad theater masks.

Koko being the expressive and joyful one with her love for sunshine and rainbow. Jojo being morose and gloomy with his love for all things deary and foggy.

Koko takes after her father more and often tries to sneak into his stage shows. She will sometimes appear under a disappearing trick in place of the missing prop. Jojo is often at Yuu's shows playing the role of the little sad clown where Yuu comedically tries to cheer up their son.

Koko however is firm that her brother isn't actually depressed. He just likes things this way. Koko is extremely supportive of her brother and goes to all his comedy shows. Even when he fails to get a laugh she still cheers the loudest.

The twin enjoy riding goats and having headbutt competitions with them. They loved goats and you will often have one of the baby goats following them around and chewing on their clothes.

Ace and Yuu are both fun parents who raise their children to be free-spirited. Discipline isn't their strong suit. They have a prank war that's been going on for years. Ace thought the pregnancy was also a prank for a solid week. He treasured that first dad joke.

The twins are very clingy. When Ace and Yuu wake up they have two little monsters on top of them.

Yuu calls them their little "Chucklets" and Ace calls them "Two of Kind" like two of a kind.

The twins are likely going NRC but there is a chance they might end up at different schools. They end up befriending Rollo's son (I know I'm surprised too) Quin and they torment him relentlessly. The twins love to tease and prank Quin. Quin isn't the best at knowing if people are joking or being mean but he doesn't have to worry, the twins are protective of their favorite toy.

anyways- you’re wearing a low-cut navy blue bodycon dress and your favorite jimmy choo’s that she got you for your birthday a few years ago ✨

she drives you there in her black cadillac ct5 with one hand on the wheel and the other holding a cigarette that she inhales from occasionally

when you get to the restaurant, she takes the car to the valet to have it parked and offers you an arm to lead you inside the restaurant

when you’re seated at you reserved table, after you’re served generous glasses of chilled dom perignon, you order only the finest foods: caviar, lobster, wagyu ribeye, and various other delicacies

your dessert assortment is even more lavish ✨

countless trays of pastries, cakes, fraises, and thing you can’t even name are set out in front of you; chocolate mousse cake, mini fruit tarts, serveral varieties of pudding, coconut cakes, lemon scones

all these shiny, expensive things, you think, but the only thing that matters is sitting right in front of you 💞

you pull a special surprise out of your pocket that you had been hiding excitedly all evening~ a 24 karat gold ring with the initials IS inscribed on it

you take your lover’s hand, slipping the dainty piece of jewelry onto her finger: “i love you, koko,” you explain, “thank you for sharing your life with me”

the restaurant is super nice, the staff are friendly and the food is amazing!

you talk about all the things you’ve got going on in your lives right now

he tells you about the case he’s working right now, a divorce that’s fighting over custody arrangements

you tell him about your plans for the end of the year: visiting your mom in kyoto, your best friend’s birthday that was coming up, a new movie that you wanted to see in theaters

over all just very chill and domestic vibes 🥰

once you guys are done eating, he takes you back to his apartment where y’all get ready for bed (he lended you a pair of gray sweatpants and a black tshirt for you to sleep in)

you cuddle in his bed and watch grey’s anatomy until you both falling asleep, whispering sweet nothings and planting chaste kisses before you do ✨

it’s huge, about six thousand square feet in total

but currently, you’re not inside the beach house; you’re laying by the shore, absorbing as much sun as you possibly can before you have to return to the city

your boyfriend is lying on the cot beside you, his arms folded above his head

the two of you had decided to order room service, so there were several trays of food on the little wooden table between you

there’s cebiche, orzo salad, intricately cut pieces of watermelon (you swear one looks to be in the shape of a familiar white-haired sorcerer), roasted chickpeas, and several other dishes you can’t name alongside two glasses of mai thai

you decide to try a couple options from the assortment, spooning a couple pieces into your boyfriend’s mouth that he eats reluctantly)

he does like the salad, though, claiming it has a ‘unique taste’ (you think he was just trying to make you happy by saying that)

as the sun starts to creep below the horizon, mahito rolls onto his side, tucking a stray piece of hair behind your ear

he leans over and plants a kiss on your cheek, then another one on your lips

as the two of you trudge tiredly back to your villa, mahito’s arm wrapped around your waist for support, he tells you how much he loves you and wishes every day could be like this 🥺💞✨

Headcanon: What movie would the TR characters watch at the cinema?

Long time no write! But my TR brainrot is as alive and well as always! So here are my most recent thoughts, dedicated to all of you out there riding on the Barbenheimer craze:

‌Baji - not going, there's stray animals to feed and pet, ain't nobody got time for stupid movies?!

‌Mitsuya - Barbie (Luna and Mana forced him, of course)

‌Hakkai - Openheimer (he wanted to go with Taka-chan, but Yuzuha wanted to see Openheimer, and he couldn't handle that many girls around without her)

‌Taiju - neither, both are sacrilegious! Goes to church instead.

‌Koko, Inupi - Openheimer (Koko didn't want to go at all, but went because of Inupi)

Welcome Home × Soul Eater AU ramble

I had announced it, I shall now share it !

Behold, WH SE AU

Context :

In the world of Soul Eater, there are people who can transform into weapons (called demonic weapons), a genetic trait coming from some witch experimenting on humans centuries before. To avoid having those "weapons" go out of control, Shinigami, a god of death, created a school called Shibusen, where those weapons could learn how to control their powers. There are also people who come to this school to partner with the weapons and wield them, those are called meisters.

In this AU, our colorful cast of Welcome Home characters are students at this school in their last few years of studies (18-23 years old) and decided to create a race to the top before their graduation. The goal ? Get their weapon partner to the "death scythe" level by getting as much evil souls as they can. Who will win ? Who knows 👀

Ramble :

Okay so this AU is actually over a year old, I had old designs and dynamics I wasn't 100% happy with because this AU was co created

Idk how the other creator is doing, I haven't talked to them in a loooong while, so I decided to rebrand the AU a little

Now, I'll explain my choices and lore

For one, I believe in keeping the canon personalities. So, when deciding who's a weapon and who is a meister, I tried to go along how the characters would act and what alligns with their silly selves. The characters that ended up as weapons needed to be weapons, otherwise it doesn't fit their personality to come to Shibusen to become a meister (reminder, meister can choose to go to Shibusen, weapons are kinda obligated to)

For the clothing, I just had fun with the "school uniform" concept as given in the Soul Eater and Soul Eater Not manga series.

And for the pairing, I included a lot of ocs, ik, but I wanted the pairs to truly match in energy and personality, and also I love my and Koko's oc and it's my AU I do what I want !

Joking side, here are some more funfact on how they ended up there

Julie followed in her siblings footsteps

Barnaby came to partner with Wally, the two are childhood best friends

Sally and Howdy came for fame and opportunities that come with being a meister

Nyxie and Suave where raised in Shibusen for lore reasons 👀

Julie and Wally are dating !

Frank and Eddie are a bit more on and off, because Eddie is an anxious mess and Frank doesn't like competion

But at the same time, the shipping in this AU is "yes" because : Julie and Wally are a thing, but Julie is very close to Frank, who is on and off with Eddie, and Eddie is quite close to Howdy, and Sally likes to flirt with Eddie and Poppy, but Lucero has a crush on Sally, who might have a lil crush on Julie, but Nyxie has a crush on Lucero, and Barnaby and Wally are reaaallly close

Good luck, may the ships all sail at once like it's the Vendée Globe :D

Other funfacts

Nyxie and Suave are actually weapons too, Nyxie is a frying pan (because what else would she be) and Suave is undetermined. Both are very unstable and thus can't really be weapons full time, hence why they meister others

Everyone has part time jobs !

Nyxie and Suave work at a bar, Eddie works at the post office, Sally works at a theater, Lucero works with Caly at a music shop, Frank works at a library, Julie in a hairdresser salon, Poppy and Howdy work at a little retail shop, Wally and Barnaby work in a clothing store.

They all live in the same appartement complex, all neighbors and they visit eachother all the time ! Each pair live together too, platonically.

I think that's about all I can say

This AU is a lil special to me because I love Soul Eater and the lore and ik there is probably already some other SE Wh aus but I wanted to get this out anyway and see if people enjoy my silly rambling

I posted it on tiktok already and people ate this up lol, I'm kinda hoping they would too here as well ? We'll see.

Inupi is the most affectionate in private, especially in the mabu timeline. After Koko accepted to live with him, Inupi was almost shy to hug him, but become more and more comfortable with affection while Koko was himself becoming more and more comfortable. He's the one who tease the most, while Koko is the romantic one. Koko helps him to cook, does the shores with him. They loves to speak while doing all that. Sometimes they decide to listen music.

Sometimes, Koko decides to cook by himself, while Inupi takes a bath after a hard day of work. Koko takes care of Inupi's hair (brushing and drying, putting a care) while Inupi tease him about his skin and hair care routine every morning and sometimes also at night.

Sometimes, Koko returns to the shop, at noon, with take away, changing everyday what are the take away. One day it's pizza, another it's chinese, ect….Sometimes, he insists to bring Inupi to a ramen shop or another one.

Somedays, at night, Koko brings Inupi to watch a movie to a movie theater, or invites him to a restaurant. One day, they are gone, with Toman guys, to a karaoke. Koko always finds ideas to have fun with Inupi, to give him a nice break in his work.

Some nights, they just cuddle on the couch, watching a movie.

But they cuddle also a lot in the bed, while softly joking, softly kissing, playing with each other hair.

They're just happy.

I know there are obvious rich boys, Childe, Ayato and Diluc to name a few, but what about Kaeya probably has money from being Ragnvindr (even if it was in the past) or Thoma? Who is one Ayato's most trusted friends?

I'm just going down the list and writing what I think about their financial situation, and if they can be your wallet

Warning: Long

Albedo is rich, canonically, half of it goes to charity and half goes to cleaning up Klee's messes, even if he took like 5% each time, he'd be rich enough to be your wallet

Alhaitham is also rich, he was rich as a scribe, he's even richer as Acting Grand Sage, he can be your wallet

Amber is comfortable, I like to think that the Knights pay their members well, especially those who have a vision and can easily take care of Hilichurls, not Childe level wallet, but if you wanted to eat meat often, she's got you

Itto.... doesn't have a job, combined with the rest of the Arataki gang, they survive, but um.... yeah... can't be your wallet

Baizhu ripped off the Fatui, yes, he can be your wallet

Barbara, if I remember correctly, is the daughter of the Pope, judging from the large cathedral and it's condition, they're kinda rich

Beidou's rich, she's a pirate! Can be your wallet

Bennett is not rich, but his dads are willing to help!

Candace, I don't know enough about Candace to make a proper judgment, but I figure she's richer than Itto and Bennett

Chongyun's family is full of famous Exorcists, I figure they're rich, can be your wallet

Collei's papa Tigh is probably well off and I think he gives her allowance, also I think Cyno drops off coin pouches for her, in the same area as Amber

Cyno is rich, he's literally the general Mahamatra, why wouldn't he be? Could be your wallet

Dehya is a famous mercenary and gets commissions often, giving her tons of mora, it says so in her story quest, can be your wallet

Diluc is Diluc, can be your wallet and more

Diona's a child and forcing this kid to be your wallet would be child abuse and child labor

Dori can be your wallet, just make sure you know what you're getting into

Eula is from a former noble family, I'm not sure if they have any money left, but even if they didn't, she works for the Knights of Favonious, they pay well

Faruzan could be? I think her bank interest would give her a good amount of extra money, but I don't know, probably financially fine but not able to be a wallet

Fischl either couldn't be your wallet, or so rich, Diluc's money seems small

Ganyu works for Ning, yes she is rich and can be your wallet

Gorou probably gets a decent amount of money? Idk but I would think that Koko gives him money after the war for his hard work, probably couldn't

Hu Tao can afford Zhongli, she can afford to be your wallet

Jean is possible from a noble clan? I'm not sure but her work as Acting Grand Master better be paid well, probably could be your wallet

Kazuha works on the Crux and his mama totally gives him allowance, can be your wallet

Kaeya probably gets paid well, could be your wallet

Ayaka can be your wallet, part of the Kamisatos

Ayato can be wallet, same as above

Kaveh cannot, he is in debt

Keqing can be your wallet, same reason as Ganyu

Klee is a child (2), probably has lots of inheritance money from Alice

Sara is the general of the Raiden Army, yes she can be your wallet

Kuki cannot sadly, she has to clean up after the Arataki gang and pay for bail

Layla probably could in the future after graduating, but I'm not sure now, probably couldn't?

Lisa probably could be your wallet, honestly? She also probably gets bribes from the Akademia to come back, extra funds

Mika is with most of the Knight, decently paid, not extremely so, but could splurge every once in a while

Mona would be rich if she stopped buying astrology stuff, couldn't be your wallet

Nahida probably could ask the citizens of Sumeru for something and they'll give it to her, yesn't?

Nilou could be rich, according to Dori, but like the theater in Sumeru, can't be your wallet, but is cute nonetheless

Ning makes other people rich, yes she can be your wallet

Noelle is well off, like the rest of the Knights

Qiqi is a child (3), but can ask her dad for money

Raiden can ask her vassels, can? be your wallet

Razor cannot, he lives in the woods, what is money

Rosaria probably gets paid by Varka to be a hit man, possibly could?

Kokomi funded like half the war right? Could be your wallet

Sayu's apart of the ninjas for Ayato right? So he better give her enough money, has potential to be your wallet

Shenhe also lives in the wilderness, what is money, could ask her nephew for money or do hard labor jobs, could be your wallet

Heizou is probably decently paid, especially after a important commission, could be your wallet

Sucrose better get paid well, if she doesn't, I'm going to rebel against Albedo, could be your wallet, might splurge on Science stuff

Childe is the og Wallet

Thoma is probably paid nicely by Ayato, and if he needs more, he could just ask, definitely can be your wallet

Aether and Lumine do lots of commissions, they have money to pamper you

Tighnari probably well paid, he probably gets paid for doing stuff in the bimarstan, can be a wallet

Venti is more likely to be in debt than anything else, cannot be your wallet

Wanderer can ask his mama for money, might have a secret stash of money during his time as a harbingers, could be your wallet

Xiangling runs a very famous inn, can be your wallet

Xiao has no money, he rarely interacts with the human world, why would he have money? Xiao can't be your wallet sorry

Xingqiu can afford books, he can afford you

Xinyan, when she hits it off in Liyue, can be your wallet

Yae is rich, definitely can be your wallet

Yanfei runs a law firm, also can be your wallet

Yaoyao is a child (4), also doesn't really know money

Yelan is like... the genderbent version of Childe, wallet

Yoimiya's really popular right? I think her firework shop does well enough that she's comfortable and can splurge every once in a while

Yunjin is also famous, I think she get paid fairly, so possibly could be your wallet

Zhongli physically cannot, as a Archon, maybe, but as a ex-archon? Absolutely not, he has not budgeting skills

random linda headcanons i talked about with @koko-raccoon

when linda was in high school she dated a very obviously closeted gay man for like a few months to a year they weren't really romantic but she loved having him as a friend bcuz he matched her very loud theater kid energy LOL if you've ever watched the middle its basically the same as the relationship between sue and her gay high school boyfriend

in general linda wasn't unpopular and she loved making friends with everyone but she ended up befriending A LOT of the unpopular kids who were disabled/gay/nerds or whatever and she would stand up for them when they were being bullied (just like louise does with rudy) she definitely got into a few physical fights bcuz of this, she had like her own little gang of misfits and oddballs that followed her around like lost puppies, people really respected her bcuz she was so confident in herself and her personality

she was so defensive of weirdos bcuz gayle was her sister she got bullied a lot for being generally weird and annoying but linda always stood up for her and protected her, so when linda saw people like her sister being bullied she got angry

linda went to high school in the late 80s or early 90s when gay people were being REALLY demonized by the media bcuz of aids but she was always super accepting of queer ppl and just generally a huge ally, she was probably at least 15 different closeted gay men's beard before she met bob she loves the gays and the gays LOVE her!!!!!

☆ Ninjago Highschool Au Ramble Part 1 ☆

This might be a bit choppy but again, this is a ramble so idc

Okay, so let's start with family stuff. Harumi and Morro are in this and Morro and you are Wu's children while Harumi and Lloyd are under Koko's custody [yes, Koko is in this cause i don't like Misako much]. Harumi's the oldest, in junior year while you and Morro are in sophomore years, a couple months apart age wise, while Lloyd, is of course, the baby of the bunch, in freshman year. You and Morro are musical fiends. You are in Theater class together and did a couple musicals together like, Mean girls, Heather's, Hamilton, etc. And let me tell you, Morro would play an amazing JD. Harumi would be in cooking class along with Zane [they would be besties along with cole]. While Lloyd would be in Art class, I personally see him tampering more in clay making. Now back to musicals (yes, again), sometimes you and Morro would get the students on the bus riled up and get them singing a couple of musicals songs before arriving school. This leads to a very confused and very terrified Lloyd, and an very amused Harumi, who records every single time.

Next, elements and battles for Ninjago. Harumi is Crystal, Morro is Wind, you are Nature, and Lloyd is Green/Energy. Sometimes Morro gets a tad too cocky with fighting enemies and challenges Kai to either, how many enemies can get knocked out or who can get the mission's goal the fasted, this usually gets them into more trouble and having the gang come rescue them. They never learn from their mistakes. When things get too hectic, and school gets too overwhelming, you four have a little family day! A big sleepover! Koko's appartment? Mario Kart or Mario maker (1 'n 2) and painting each other's nails while eating those Hugo's bought frosted sugar cookies! Wu's monastery? The Gaming Room! Playing the most horror games of horror games in the vr headset to see who can get scared the easiest while ordering pizza. You guys don't wanna hang out inside? The Gaming Arcade!! As we know, Lloyd is a sweet tooth and would spend his tickets on those candy machines. Harumi would go to those shoot or racing games and sometimes Morro or you would join her, though it would mostly be Morro as you would go to the Pac-Man Game. You have the highest high score in Ninjago and you take pride in such.

Pokemon Polychrome's Arcana league;

Alistair Michaelis/ Alan - a psychic type specialist with a circus/jester theme. He's mute, and uses sign language to communicate- but he also has a tool that enables him to transfer psychic energy to whoever he's interacting with, letting them hear his unfiltered thoughts. He's good with focus as a result, able to stop himself from thinking things that people will hear. Actually a mole for the villainous team, Team Miasma. His ace is Gallade.

Almond Hyulocke Starling - a ghost type specialist with a haunted museum for a gym. Apricot's older twin with a more serious disposition. She's made a name for herself as a young Rising Star, but has taken a break from training in order to become one of the artificial island's gym leaders. Also a prodigy in the arts, particularly painting and sculpting. One of Trevor's traveling companions. Her ace is Gengar.

Luka Kinoshita / Lucky - a dark type specialist with a Japanese delinquent theme, and his gym is modeled after a school. He wears an eyepatch and claims he's an evil overlord, but really, he's just a really good theater kid. His father was a magician, who was initially supposed to be the gym leader. He actually has heterochromia under his eyepatch. A chuunibyou. Almond's best friend, and Koko's cousin. His ace is Tyranitar.

Giovanni Hugo Florentino / Geo - an electric type specialist with an underground idol/boy band theme- he's actually a vocalist for the band Skyfall, and came to the artificial island for a hiatus, and to get stronger. Lacks confidence and motivation, but works well in a team. He, along with Elite Four Primo and Gym Leader Claude, are important people to Team Miasma's high ranking admin, Lance. His ace is Ampharos.

Claudius Linares / Claude - a flying type specialist with an aviator theme, and his gym takes place atop a mountain. An heir to a company in Galar, but was abandoned by his parents, and left in the care of the Linares family, who took him in as their own. Loud, cocky, and a little bit of a jock, but he means well. Childhood friends with Geo. His big brother is Elite Four Primo. His ace is Altaria.

Koushi Yamamoto / Koko - a normal type specialist with a librarian theme, and his gym takes place in a massive library. He's a doctor in training, and was said to have taken law and business before dropping them. Said to be an academic prodigy by his college, but this put him in severe pressure that led to a burnout. Quiet, blunt, and infodumps about what he reads about in the library. Lucky's cousin, and also Elite Four Yanna's qpp. His ace is Audino.

Rinko Yutora - a fire type specialist, though her gym takes place in the mines. Was apparently a model, before she ditched it in favor of traveling solely for the fun of it. She's very eager to try the different foods of different places, which is why she came to the artificial island, as it's a meeting place for different people. Cheerful and upbeat, and has absolutely no idea that her eldest brother, Miharu, came from a cult. Best friend of Mara. Her ace is Blaziken.

Amaranth Vale / Mara - a grass type specialist whose gym takes place in a temple, surrounded by a hedge maze. She's the childhood friend of the main character, though they've drifted apart and aren't in the best of terms. Her father disappeared when she was young- which has something to do with the artificial island's owener, Shiroku Shigeru. Currently a model, but came to the island to hone her skills- and because she knows the owner was an old friend of her father's. Mature and cool headed, but has a tendency to be bossy. Her ace is Tsareena, though her Pokemon that mega evolves is Abomasnow.

Favorite pokemon/evolution line, my favorite is the rowlet line, I love the little archer owl

Rye: Ooooh, my favorites are Raichu and the Lucario line! Riolu is probably my favorite baby pokemon! Lucario is tied with Raichu tbh. I also love Celebi and suicune, and the totodile line holds a special place in my heart.

Kokichi: As stereotypical as it might be, I gotta love... Scorbunny! Haha, fooled you, didn't I? I also like Fennekin and Snivy. Okay okay, I love Zoroua too. Shush. Oh and I can't find the name of the new grass starter but I love the dramatic theater kid/phantom thief aesthetics.

-Koko: My favorite is eevee!!! And squirtle!!!! I like charizard too, hes the coolest! But I love blastiose!!!

Wrenn: I haven't really thought about pokemon much. Digging around in our memories, I guess the one I can relate to the most is MewTwo, and maybe the Ralts line? And my favorite starter... Cyndaquil and Litten. But only as their baby evolutions. We haven't played the new game, but... I am stupidly attached to tandemaus.

Chara: .... I also like the Pikachu line. But I'm very attached to Entei from the third movie, I suppose. I enjoy the Unknown.

Venti: Ooooh, I'm not sure which I'd prefer! I suppose I'm more the type to be attached to individual pokemon I come across my journey over a design or move type. I am drawn to fairy-like pokemon (not necessarily the type!) Like Celebi and Jirachi, especially if they are cute and small but powerful. Ehe~

Evan: I also like the Rowlet line! They're so cool! And I love bird pokemon, like Pigeot. Oh oh, and I have a soft spot for mudsdale...

Welcome Home × Soul Eater AU ramble

I had announced it, I shall now share it !

Behold, WH SE AU

Context :

In the world of Soul Eater, there are people who can transform into weapons (called demonic weapons), a genetic trait coming from some witch experimenting on humans centuries before. To avoid having those "weapons" go out of control, Shinigami, a god of death, created a school called Shibusen, where those weapons could learn how to control their powers. There are also people who come to this school to partner with the weapons and wield them, those are called meisters.

In this AU, our colorful cast of Welcome Home characters are students at this school in their last few years of studies (18-23 years old) and decided to create a race to the top before their graduation. The goal ? Get their weapon partner to the "death scythe" level by getting as much evil souls as they can. Who will win ? Who knows 👀

Ramble :

Okay so this AU is actually over a year old, I had old designs and dynamics I wasn't 100% happy with because this AU was co created

Idk how the other creator is doing, I haven't talked to them in a loooong while, so I decided to rebrand the AU a little

Now, I'll explain my choices and lore

For one, I believe in keeping the canon personalities. So, when deciding who's a weapon and who is a meister, I tried to go along how the characters would act and what alligns with their silly selves. The characters that ended up as weapons needed to be weapons, otherwise it doesn't fit their personality to come to Shibusen to become a meister (reminder, meister can choose to go to Shibusen, weapons are kinda obligated to)

For the clothing, I just had fun with the "school uniform" concept as given in the Soul Eater and Soul Eater Not manga series.

And for the pairing, I included a lot of ocs, ik, but I wanted the pairs to truly match in energy and personality, and also I love my and Koko's oc and it's my AU I do what I want !

Joking side, here are some more funfact on how they ended up there

Julie followed in her siblings footsteps

Barnaby came to partner with Wally, the two are childhood best friends

Sally and Howdy came for fame and opportunities that come with being a meister

Nyxie and Suave where raised in Shibusen for lore reasons 👀

Julie and Wally are dating !

Frank and Eddie are a bit more on and off, because Eddie is an anxious mess and Frank doesn't like competion

But at the same time, the shipping in this AU is "yes" because : Julie and Wally are a thing, but Julie is very close to Frank, who is on and off with Eddie, and Eddie is quite close to Howdy, and Sally likes to flirt with Eddie and Poppy, but Lucero has a crush on Sally, who might have a lil crush on Julie, but Nyxie has a crush on Lucero, and Barnaby and Wally are reaaallly close

Good luck, may the ships all sail at once like it's the Vendée Globe :D

Other funfacts

Nyxie and Suave are actually weapons too, Nyxie is a frying pan (because what else would she be) and Suave is undetermined. Both are very unstable and thus can't really be weapons full time, hence why they meister others

Everyone has part time jobs !

Nyxie and Suave work at a bar, Eddie works at the post office, Sally works at a theater, Lucero works with Caly at a music shop, Frank works at a library, Julie in a hairdresser salon, Poppy and Howdy work at a little retail shop, Wally and Barnaby work in a clothing store.

They all live in the same appartement complex, all neighbors and they visit eachother all the time ! Each pair live together too, platonically.

I think that's about all I can say

This AU is a lil special to me because I love Soul Eater and the lore and ik there is probably already some other SE Wh aus but I wanted to get this out anyway and see if people enjoy my silly rambling

I posted it on tiktok already and people ate this up lol, I'm kinda hoping they would too here as well ? We'll see.

two new chapters! thank you :D the names Coco and Cactus - something reminds me that I encountered them somewhere while reading the manga Tezuka.. Is it a random collection of names? Were they actually borrowed from Tezuka manga? And of course Michii .... damn .... I did not expect such a turn of events. Didn't Michi have a mask like that in the manga Metropolis? ^^

Chapter 16 was a bitch to write whereas chapter 17 had me giggling all the way! But yes, Coco and Cactus are OG Tezuka characters :D Although Coco needs some explaining ^^;; Coco is shortened for Mariko from Rainbow Parakeet! in hindsight, I should have put down Koko(to make the connection make sense) but, I didn't. I may or may not go back and change it,but, let's see how it goes!:)

Cactus is from Tezukas western story, The Cactus Kid. I enjoy Tezuka's universe, and I felt it would be an appropriate homage to Tezuka if I included some of his characters into my fic to balance out the OCs.

Now about Michi 😏

Also,yes, BUT!

The mask in my fic isn't a masquerade mask, its a Hannya mask

These masks are for Noh Theater (I need to go back and replace kabuki in the chapter, it supposed to be Noh)

As this story has progressed, I've been waiting, drafting, and planning to get into more Metropolis centric bits since at least chapter 9! Michi has been a long time coming and chapter 17 was a blast to write for that. Michi was so fun to write! I'm sure that other readers felt the same way about chapter 17, its a lot there to unpack!(or maybe its just me) It helped that I've been drafting their prequel too, fleshing out exactly what I wanted Michi to be and their motives to come through as you guys read along. I hope to have an artist rendition of Michi soon!
