Throwback Wednesday to an old comic! I remember the first book and the first word that I read by myself (cat!!) because it was an exciting achievement, haha. Is this not the weirdest sh*t? "Sorry little Johnny but you suck at spelling and now that man is dead." Just limb by limb, his head in a noose, hanging in a gallows, the pressure building on poor little school children to choose wisely on the next letter. Not for cash and prizes like Wheel of Fortune, but so you don't hang a man to his death. . Was he innocent? Was he guilty? What did he do? I love that she loves books and now can hopefully learn to recognize words through this kind of reading app. I found #Rivet through a Youtube ad and if Lily is loving it. I love it!Look at that smile😍 Ah, the only thing I was a little sad about was that they didn't have Korean as a second language option for book translation purposes. >>We still have a ways to go to get her reading independently, but at least she does know a few sight words. I felt badly that she hasn't learned to read yet, but I couldn't do both my Korean classes and get her to where she needs to be, but now that I'm done, as I promised her, I'm putting in all the time I can for her English learning. I told her once she can read in English by herself I will get her the Korean learning books because she wants those, too.
