Greg Saunders is fluent in English, Spanish, Chinese, Latin, and American Sign Language. He knows enough German, French, and Russian to get a general idea of what's being said. He also knows a few words and phrases in Nahuatl and can recognize Enochian. Naturally, this means that Crimson Avenger had to learn the swearwords in all of those languages so that he knows if Greg is cursing at something.

Am I the only one who thinks it’s really cute that The Crimson Avenger is able to so effortlessly code switch into Spanish to the point of being able to code switch his own code name on the fly?
Living in a big city like this, having been in the game so long, he’s probably helped a LOT of Spanish speakers. Enough to get functional at it.
The things you never consider.

Vigilante; I'm a werewolf. How are you not upset about this?
Crimson Avenger; Greg.
Crimson Avenger; Last night, you knocked yourself unconscious by running into the sliding glass door at top speed to fight a thousand-pound grizzly bear. The only thing I'm even slightly upset about is that your lack of common sense transfers over.
Vigilante; I coulda taken him.
Crimson Avenger; Yep. Still the exact same Greg I've known for years.

Summary:
Things were going fine and then they weren't. One second Speedy was sniping the bad-guys from his tower of crates, the next he was plummeting through the air and every blood and soil idiot on the dock was whipping their sights in his direction. Landing wasn't the problem-he could give Robbie a run for his money on the acrobat stuff-it was the crossfire he was worried about; shrapnel and gunfire were blazing toward him from every direction and there wasn't a scrap of cover in sight.
It'd be like shooting fish in a barrel.

The League recruited the Soldiers just to keep them from assassinating political figures (Crimson Avenger,) killing dirty cops and any other corrupt person (Vigilante,) eventually snapping and using his incredible skill for evil (STRIPE and Arrow,) taking down the League of Shadows (Speedy,) and using an incredibly powerful magical artifact that can kill Superman without supervision (Shining Knight.) Those guys are problems.
