One of my favorite things about Mirabel in Encanto is the fact that she never talked bad about anyone in her family, despite being upset that she’s left out of almost everything.

In “The Family Madrigal” intro song, she describes each of her family members’ powers without saying a single bad thing about them. She says “She’s the perfect golden child” with a smile about her sister Isabel even when they’re not close and don’t get along because she still loves her as part of her family.

Also in that song, she was going to leave out the part about her because she knows that its the rest of her family that she feels are special, not her. She didn’t want pity or to make her family look bad by adding in how she doesn’t have a gift.

Mirabel is the only one who actually stays and listens to her sisters’ problems (Luisa’s pressure to help her family, Isabel’s perfectionism). She stopped the family’s generational trauma by contronting it, confronting Abeula, and was the only one who had a bond strong enough with Casita to get her to the candle to save it.

Theres a reason why the candle chose her and no one else, she was the only one to have the courage, to have the bravery and love for her family to finally fix the family.

Mirabel never complained or said a single bad thing about her family despite how she was treated, because she loves her family so much. She had the opportunity to have a villain arc but tried to save the miracle instead. She said it was mainly for her family’s sake and for Casita (yeah she included herself but she put herself last).

In conclusion, Mirabel is one of the best movie protagonists ever and deserves the world. Thank you for coming to my Ted Talk <3

While everyone is either freaking out about the alternate Lokis and whatever that Sylvie and Loki shit is, I feel like a lot of people aren’t looking at other parts of the episode.

“I looked happy.”

Even in the rain, it was clear that B-15 was crying. She looked so sad to find out that everything that she thought was right was really just a lie. Her voice was breaking and soft for the very first and only time in this whole show and it just makes me so upset knowing that literally everyone in the TVA had a life, they were happy, and they were stolen away from it.

Another thing is when Sylvie asks Ravonna about what her own Nexes Event was. After all these years of running, she didn’t know the real reason for her arrest. And Ravonna couldn’t even remember why.

“It must have had to be important. So what was it?”

“I can’t remember.”

That just shows how much the people in the TVA like Ravonna don’t even care about these varients or how they’re treated (proof of that in the beginning of the episode). They don’t care about how small the Nexes event was, they only care about this “Sacred Timeline”.

Sylvie’s Nexes must have had to be something so small that after decades of trying to capture her since she was a little girl, they didn’t even bother to remember the true reason. All they knew was that she was “dangerous” and a variant.

Sylvie looked so shattered after Ravonna told her, like everything was just meaningless at that point. She probably thought that she did something terrible that not even she knew what it was to get herself arrested. And she was just a kid.

So just imagine how many innocent children and people the TVA had arrested and pruned, and they didn’t even know what they had done. Imagine the amount of times the TVA had to deal with a scared and crying child who had no clue why they were there.

anyone else just completely mad at c!sam?? because not only was he unwilling to listen to c!tommy, he also blames him for every single bad thing that has happened in the prison.

this is the same warden that let quackity in the prison to torture dream. this is the same warden that had to leave tommy in the prison with his abuser for over a week and letting dream kill tommy.

sam said that he’s keeping dream in the prison because tommy had told him to, and now tommy is telling him that they need to kill him, sam just won’t fucking listen to him.

i don’t not blame tommy for bringing out the axe early because it was a stupid move (he did explain his reasons tho) but i also don’t not blame sam for having to leave ghostbur behind, not taking the chance to kill dream, and yelling and not even giving tommy a chance to explain himself.
