Like the first few days Theo's having to drag him to read the emails but they get a few weeks in and he's Invested and it's the first thing he checks in the morning bc he's worried about Jonathan

I just finished Loki: where mischief lies and I was thinking:

Loki = Regulus

Amora = Barty

Thor = Sirius

Theo = James

Anyone agree? I'm not entirely sure I do fully yet. I am still thinking about it.

I don't know why it bothers me so much when in fics Loki seems to care about the people of Earth. I definitely think he was coerced/tortured by The Black Order. Loki had a terrible time there. But I think the coercion stemmed from his refusal to do something that would ALSO AFFECT ASGARD rather than him caring for humans.

I do find it interesting that he's kept up-to-date with Earth far more than Thor did. But I just don't see him holding human lives in high regard, given the events of Thor 1. It'd be a slow-burn to get him to care about humanity a la IZ fanfic.

People Loki canonically had A Thing™️ with (according to me):

-Sif (the series composer lowkey confirmed they had a night together before the hair cutting incident)

-Fandral (we all saw what we saw in T1)

-Theo Bell (I consider LWML to be partially canon & Loki having a thing with a human guy who he left on earth & was probably dead by the time he came back… definitely vibes w Loki’s attitude toward mortal lifespans in the movies.)

-The Grandmaster (no way he got out of gladiatorial slave duty just by telling jokes, plus the winky scene like come on now)

-the flight attendant from 1x1 (they were feeling each other so hard. & he told her he’d see her again)

-Lorelei (best one on the list tbh. She escaped using his secret pathways. She’s an enchantress that’s not his multiversal twin & is actually rly interesting. It’s all there.)

-Amora (also from LWML. Yes she’s probably Lorelei’s sister. No idgaf. Sleeping with an ex situationship’s sister isn’t exactly smth I’d put past him)

-Sigurd (he doesn’t exist in the mcu but the chemistry in AoA was so strong it’s transcended mediums. He’s Loki’s ex in the mcu, they just haven’t mentioned him yet shhhh)

in my heart, amora is taller than him in lwml. loki has two hands to hold, and standing between theo (shorter than him) and amora (taller than him) would be awkward but by god he would do it

Last week Aimee visited Hong Kong and Macau to spend time with two LCMS missionaries she supports in her role as Mercy Manager for the Asia region. It was a valuable time together that provided insight that can never be gained from reading reports and having Zoom meetings! The first few days Aimee attempted to keep up with Deaconess Halter’s busy schedule: providing care to a 92 year old woman in a nursing home, sharing with an LWML group from California, Nevada, and Hawaii district, meeting local friends for meals, sharing the gospel, and learning about the history of LCMS mission in Asia. Then they traveled together to Macau to spend time with Alliance missionary Pastor Wu, visit the Concordia School for Special Education, and share the gospel with local Christians who were part of a business fellowship group. The trip concluded with a stop at Lord Stowe’s- Macau’s famous Portuguese egg tart bakery!
