Oh! This also reminds me. What about Zhongli’s birthday? Will Y/N give him a gift? What about vice-versa?
Based on the game, apparently when it’s ur birthday, the people in Teyvat, send a letter to the person that’s a dear friend??? to them including a gift to that person as well???
Which makes no sense bc why would u want to give a gift to someone when it’s ur birthday.?!?! (Wander is asking the real questions here. 😂) Of course the traveler does give the vision users a gift for their birthday as well (in official art that is).
So what about Y/N? I’m pretty sure if it was her birthday she wouldn’t do letters and probably just play her birthday as any other day, maybe perhaps eat a small cake and buy something for herself but that would be pretty much it?
Or perhaps our trio girls would have a girls day and go shopping? Take the day off of commissions and just have fun.
I feel like Y/N would want to give a gift for Zhongli for his birthday but doesn’t know what to give. Maybe a self made creation (like the piano example)?
Such as . . . Y/N could create a glaze lily umbrella with an extension that could create a hydro barrier + shield, can also act as a patio umbrella (maybe Y/N dan make the umbrella float by itself somehow), for when it’s raining (I know that he can make a shield for himself {dur} but hey, it’s the thought that counts 🙂🫠) and have to fend off mobs in the rain.
Basically the umbrella is also a magic umbrella [that can act like a catalyst????] that acts as a weapon, fusing the hydro element & geo element together).
As long as there’s the elements hydro and geo in the surrounding environment then the umbrella will be useful, if there isn’t . . . Welp! It’s gonna act like a phone until elemental energy runs out and would need an elemental charger (hydro & geo slimes for example).
The umbrella would also need hydro + geo elemental energy, which would be easy bc Zhongli has geo energy himself.
The umbrella can be used with one element without the other, but to bring out the full strength of the weapon, the umbrella needs both elemental elements to work at its maximum power.
I got the inspiration from this post because of the design. And the attacks would be a bit similar towards how Eclipsa (from Star vs the Forces of Evil) would use her wand.
[LMAO! I JUST REALIZED THAT THIS WEAPON WOULD SUIT Y/N MORE THAN ZHONGLI!] 😂
Lol imagine if she gave him the artifact set Tenacity of the Millelith, all 5 pieces for his birthday and not a wallet. 😂 (That’s Hu Tao’s job.) 🥲
Y/n is definitely the quiet types, the one who never really reminds anyone that it's their birthday that day. I imagine she would take the time to herself, wandering around reminiscing about her life back home perhaps? Feeling all gloomy, while missing her family... That said I am sure the traveler and Paimon will make it a point to remember her birthday and plan a surprise event for her~ As for what Zhongli will gift our Y/n... I am guessing something along the lines of a masterfully crafted artifact. Zhongli certainly has a taste for the classy and antique, so I am sure he would spend a fortune on something like fancy hairpins for her. The umbrella weapon sounds like a fun idea lol, though it does seem to have a whole lot of functions to it. An umbrella that functions as a gun would be so cooool! But I do think Y/n will be giving him handmade gifts surely! Maybe a little musical box with all kinds of little mechanisms that can only be opened by Zhongli, as they relate to inside jokes and conversations that only the two of them know about...

CW: Cupping their face with your hands PT.1 + their reaction. Fluff, GN!Reader, established relationships, use of pet names (Ex: Baby, dear, Dove, Sweetheart, my Lily, my love), soft moments with the boys, blushy boys, gentle kisses being shared, reader has a pyro vision in Dain's section.
Featuring:  Ayato + Dainsleif
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Kamisato Ayato
"Ayato?" With a voice just above a whisper, you poke your head into Ayato's office, bright orbs immediately settling on your beloved partner.
Soft ocean eyes turn up from the pile of paperwork on his desk, scanning over your hesitant form in the doorway to his office before a gentle smile curves up the corners of his lips. "Come in, my dear."
Slender arms wrap around your waist the moment you're seated in his lap, Ayato burying his face against your shoulder for a long moment, simply taking in your scent. He has been working almost nonstop for days aside from Thoma or you forcing him to break for meals. Only now does he realize how much he has missed your presence and the way you curl up so perfectly on his lap while he does his paperwork. He has been neglecting you.
Ayato adjusts your body so that you're straddling his lap, legs on either side of his thighs so he can peer at your stunning features. His mouth is turned downward slightly at the beginning of a frown, you knew the words that would come from his mouth next. After all, you had heard the before after he prioritized his work before anything else.
"I-" The hydro user's words are cut off almost immediately feeling your hands on either side of his face, cupping his cheeks sweetly in the palms of your hands. Ocean blue eyes gaze up into yours, his lips parting in slight surprise and a subtle blush settling on Ayato's pale cheeks. The smile that breaks out across his face is nothing but heartwarming, his eyes slipping closed after not a moment more, simply enjoying the way you hold his face so delicately.
A light chuckle resonates from Ayato after a few moments, those breathtaking pools peeking back open just as you lean forward. The urge to kiss him right now is too much to bear. Before the hydro user can even realize what you're doing, you have pressed your lips together in a deep kiss. Yet another soft chuckle escapes, slender arms winding around you tighter to keep you from moving away from him.
Maybe it is time to take a break from his paperwork after all.
Now, physical affection has been rather limited through Dainsleif's life so it has taken a lot for the two of you to get to this point in your relationship. You have spent months traveling together, unsure of the destination, yet knowing the exact paths to take towards this unseen goal. This man trusts you with his life, you're his partner, and he knows you will always have his back in and outside of battle. He has his moments where he is a bit hesitant to accept your touches if he isn't completely sure of what you're up to, this would be one of those moments.
Tumblr media
Dainsleif
"Hey Dain?" There is a grin on your face when you call your partner's name, the blonde's head shooting up from the fire he is attempting to make. "Why is it you ordered me to go hunting instead of you? I have the whole fire thing handled...you know I do have a pyro vision."
Seeing the two fish you are holding combined with how proud you look of yourself has Dainsleif smiling to himself before he is gesturing at his failed attempt to start a fire. "Not that I am one to admit these things, but seeing the way you're almost bursting with pride at catching our dinner makes my heart lift just a bit." He chuckles fondly, deep blue eyes following your every move as you place the fish on a wooden stand Dainsleif made for roasting them.
It takes a flick of your wrist as you sit on a log to have a fireball hitting the stack of wood below the fish, igniting the makeshift stove so your dinner can cook. "Come here~" you sigh out, beckoning your partner closer who follows the order with ease, taking a seat on the log next to you.
Before Dainsleif can get any words out, your hands are on either side of his face, cupping the warm flesh of his cheeks in your palms. Instead of shying away like most people might expect him to do, he leans into one of your palms, grabbing the other hand in his own and pressing a lingering kiss to the palm there. The action is simple but sweet making your heart clench in your chest at the sight of just how much this man truly trusts you.
Moving your hand from his cheek to the back of his neck, you tug Dainsleif closer, slotting your lips together with practiced ease. The kiss is tender and lengthy, only breaking when your lungs ache for air. As your eyes lock together, a smile breaks out across his face once more.
"I love you, my Star."

SCARAMOUCHE
★ He’d done it again. The Balladeer had visibly seen you in distress, tears rolling down your face and sobs wracking your body, and he’d left you when you were in dire need of comfort.
★ You let it slide the first time as he seemed panicked, like he didn’t know how to support you, and he returned to you a few hours later.
★ This time, however, he didn’t return for a few days.
As you folded some of your clothing, packing it into a bag, you heard the door to your shared bedroom creak open slowly. Your partner stood in the doorway, unsure of what to do. His fists clenched and unclenched, knowing for sure he had messed up.
“Are you leaving me?”
You shrugged, not pausing what you were doing or turning around to look at him. Leaving was a strong word. You were just staying with a friend for a few days until he hopefully summoned the courage to apologise, that was all. If you lived under the same roof as him for a little while longer, you were sure you’d claw his face in rage.
“Are you angry at me?” His words were hollow, empty, as if he was coming to the realisation of what his actions had caused.
"Of course I'm angry with you! You left me and I needed you!" Your voice broke with the tears that threatened to spill. Scaramouche was supposed to be the love of your life and he had been so heartless.
“I had a battle I needed to attend. I-I couldn’t stay,” he stuttered, grasping for an excuse.
“You looked me in the eyes while I was breaking, then you turned and fled like I was a dead body you had discovered.” Wiping a tear from your face, you zipped up your bag and slung it over your shoulder. “I’ll see you around.”
★ The balladeer stood there helplessly for a few minutes, too stunned by what had just happened.
★ Did you just leave him? No. No, that wasn’t how this was supposed to happen.
★ He wandered around your hometown, searching for you to try and amend what he had broken, even making his way to the harbour to not find a sign of you anywhere. The last stop he made for the evening was to the tavern to find one of his agents to track you.
A tavern in such a small village was surprisingly busy, especially for a weekday. The bartender was very busy, rushing back and forth to collect and deliver orders of drinks to different tables, though, when they saw Scaramouche, they immediately stopped to serve him. He was just about to start on his round of drinks when someone familiar sat in the seat next to him.
“My, my. I didn’t expect you of all people to be at the tavern this evening. Didn’t you have somewhere to be?” The annoying voice made him clench his fists in anger.
“Tartaglia. I could ask what you’re doing here too. Why are you in Inazuma?” Your partner had to keep his eyes focused on the cup before him, or he was afraid tears would begin to fall out of them.
How could he have been so careless? So stupid? You were his everything and he had treated you so poorly. Now, you were gone and he had nothing left but the last words you had said to him stuck playing through his mind on loop.
Tartaglia shrugged. “I’m here to do some work. Aren’t you supposed to be with Y/N?” The hydro vision user could tell something was amiss, that the Balladeer wasn’t like his usual spiteful self.
Scaramouche had to stop himself from blurting out his problem to his colleague. He hadn’t even touched his drinks yet, what was wrong with him? But perhaps he would know what to do. Tartaglia was known to secretly be quite the family-man, maybe he’d have a solution?
“I messed up.” He snatched one of the shots from the counter and downed it in one gulp.
Tartaglia raised a brow. “With Y/N?” When he received a nod as a reply, he continued, “how so?”
“I ignored them when they needed me most, I didn’t know how to help them. They were crying, what do I do?”
“Go and comfort them. Nothing is going to happen with your relationship with them until their problem has been fixed first.”
“How do I do that? I’ve never…” Scaramouche had never comforted anyone before, nor had he ever been comforted for that matter. He had no idea where to even start.
“Start with a hug.” Tartaglia returned a look of surprise when confusion appeared on the face of the Balladeer.
“With what?”
“You know, pull them into your arms and let them cry it out first. Let them know that you’re sorry, that you’re there for them. Tell Y/N how much you love them.”
★ After a fatui agent had tracked you down, he bid Tartaglia farewell and went to your friend’s house that you were staying at.
★ He hovered outside for a while, attempting to find the courage to knock on the door, but his hands refused to stop shaking. Never had he ever been this scared before. What if he couldn’t fix things and this was the end for the two of you? What would he do then?
★ Eventually, he didn’t need to approach the door as your friend opened it first, suspicious of a man wandering in circles outside of their house.
“Are you Y/N’s partner?” They spat, rage rightly filled in their veins at what he had done to you.
“C-can I talk to them? I need to apologise. It’s okay if-” Scaramouche tripped over the words, hoping that they would never come true, “if they don’t want to see me again after that, but, please, let me try to fix this.” When had he resulted in pleading? Something within him shuddered at his actions, but deep down he knew it was because of his desperation to have you back by his side.
Looking him up and down in disgust, your friend made their way back into the house. “I’ll go and ask them.”
He waited for what felt like an eternity, his heart beating so rapidly in his chest that it hurt, until finally, you stepped outside. Your eyes were red and sore from crying and your arms were wrapped around your body as some sort of comfort, comfort had he failed to provide you as your lover.
“Y/N, I-” Scaramouche stopped when your eyes met his. You were on the verge of breaking again, holding yourself together piece by piece. “I apologise. I-I’m so sorry. You’re right, I should have been there for you. I was- no, I am such a bad person for letting you suffer alone.”
You felt taken aback. When had he apologised to anyone? He hadn’t even said ‘sorry’ to you in your relationship before.
“I ran because I was a coward and I didn’t know how to give you the support you need.” He stepped forward cautiously, in case you fled like a frightened woodland animal. When you didn’t, he walked up to you and awkwardly wrapped you in his arms.
You don’t know when it happened, but you began to sob into his shoulder. Harsh cries shook the whole of your body, threatening to buckle your knees so you crumpled to the ground. Scaramouche was there, holding you tightly. His hand held the back of your head and his other was wrapped around your waist, pulling you against him.
The Balladeer’s warmth was something you hadn’t realised you missed, something you hadn’t realised you’d yearned for all this time.
“Please, give me another chance. I’ll do better, I promise. I love you, Y/N.”

Love is a very evil thing, it has the ability to break the toughest exteriors and make people do stupid things. But for me, Love only set me up for heartbreak. Yet I kept going back to the source. " Hey Thoma! Wanna go for lunch together?" I asked him patiently waiting for his usual "Sure let's go!" but was met with a sad smile from Thoma. " I have something to do with Lady Ayaka today, maybe some other time, but don't worry it'll be my treat" Thoma said as he shot me another sad smile before leaving to join Ayaka who stood not too far from you both. At this point I don't know why I bother anymore, because I could never stand a chance. Ayaka was perfect in every single way. She was elegant, hardworking, polite, had mastered a sword style. While I was just me and to make it worse, they see each other every single day. I was nothing but an artist who sold paintings of Inazuman scenery. I was just normal and didn't have that much going in Inazuma but my job paid me enough.
I walk over the the ledge not to far from me and look down at the couples of Inazuma who went on with their day during this afternoon. The streets were filled and the weather pleasant yet I feel cold and alone. Maybe I should start over, there's obviously nothing left for me here in Inazuma. As an artist maybe I should try looking for inspiration else where in other parts of teyvat. I made my way back over to the store where I sold most of my paintings to pick up my bag. "Leaving already?" Sara the owner of the store asked me. "Yes, I'm just.....not feeling it today" I say to her not tearing my gaze off the floor. " Is it because of Thoma?" She asked me but recieved only a nod as my reply. " Y/n, these things take time sometimes you know" She said trying to encourage me. "I think it's time to count my losses, maybe leave for a few weeks to clear my head" I say sadly. "So you're leaving work? Take as long as you need, just make sure to bring back a few paintings of yours, the people are loving them!" Sara said trying to cheer me up. "I think I wanna leave inazuma in general for a month but I'll try to paint some foreign scenery and see how the inazumas take it." I say. " Want me to help with your papers?" Sara asked in a knowing tone. "Yes, if you don't mind. It was kind of an on the spot decision" I say sheepishly. "I know , you'd wanna leave tomorrow, captain Beidou leaves then" She asked me again. "Mhmm" I respond. "Ok.....But you better be back here in a month with some exotic painting or else" She said with a threatening tone. "I will" I said before heading out to the porr to beg Miss beidou to let me accompany her on her travels to Liyue and conveniently, she agreed.
The next day, I went to the port really early and met up with beidou. We set off to liyue and upon arriving, we agreed to meet up in a month. During my travels, I managed to gain the company of a certain white-haired anemo user. He managed to make me smile with his haikuus and made me enjoy his company. He would often watch me paint and with a few teachings, we would often paint together on separate works. The travelling samarai was truely fascinating. Picking flowers for me and making me feel valued.
One day, I couldn't find Kazuha our usual meeting spot, perhaps he had woken up before I did and wandered off, after all he did do that often. I decided to do the same in hopes of finding something to paint. While I was walking, I heard strange noises followed by a scream. I unsheath my katana before heading off in the direction of the noise. It was a ruin hunter, heading towards a little girl. She was helpless and without thinking I rushed toward it and jabbed my katana straight through the core on its head. I walked to the little girl who could barely control the tears streaming her face and helped her out. When she left, I looked around, the scenery was breathtaking and I couldn't help but be in awe. As I brought out my small canvas in an attempt to paint, a blue hydro vision descended in front of me and landed on my outstretched canvas. A vision, my vision, I actually got one! But my happiness was short lived as soon as I realized the implication. I was no longer going to be safe in inazuma.
"Hey! there you are!" A voice said from behind me gaining my attention. I turn around to see Kazuha walking toward me. His eyes lingered on the blue hydro vision on my canvas before smiling. " You really are fascinating, leave you alone for a few hours and you gain a vision, want me to teach you how to use it?" He asked in a bright tone before smiling at me. He really was special.

I come bringing ideas and headcanons.
OK, so we all already know what The Three oldest archons abilities. So I’ve come up with my own ideas we could use for the younger archons! (And yes I’m grouping Ei, Venti and Zhongli as the older siblings since Ei Is 1000 years old Venti is 2,500 and Zhongli is 5,000-6,000 and the other archons are still in the hundreds I think)
Again these aren’t canon just stuff you can use for future Requests for Twisted wonderland x Teyvat God! Reader
For Dendro archon!Reader
Definitely a Bow User. And Is a Healer. But the their Ult can cause damage
I have a theory That during the Archon War The dendro Archin created the Regisvines to fight for them, and only two were left. I also Headcanon The dendro archon can bring plants to life and overwrite what each plant can do. (Maybe even bring mushrooms to life 👀).
Maybe They can create a giant plant from the ground that spreads Healing energies and since this is a god where talking about can Cure Curses (Ahem Vils Curses Ahem) and major Diseases and what not.
For Their Ult maybe a giant plant monster (kinda like how Gouba and Oz exists ) that will attack for them (could make for fun combos with different elements like if the dendro archon was wet Hydro Plant monster)
For Hydro archon!reader
Polearm or sword (theirs way too many Hydro Catalyst) Healer and Dps, Why? Cause I say so.
You’ve mentioned how Hydro archon summons a giant wave? I’ll do you one better and their E skill summons a giant sea creature of your choosing to soak the fighters (A cool visual is their polearm turning into a big dream catcher then going swoosh and Baam Maybe like A giant Water Koi fish finna drown your ass *ahem ace ahem*)
Now mihoyo likes to reference Their character form honkai impact into genshin impact (and since they took a characters look from Honkai and another characters abilities with the whole Dual ego thing for Raiden shogun and Ei) I’m gonna base this Ultimate Skill From a character from Honkai (for research search up Herrsercher of Sentience)
Since the Hydro archons whole thing is about Justice. Now here me out here. WATER WHIP. Just a giant whip of water that can go on for miles (maybe it’s salty maybe it’s like fresh water depends on our readers mood lolol). Like, It’s whip of water strong enough to cut diamond or whatever it would be very cool (Kalim would wanna see if he could do something like that with his UM Que jamil trying to stop him)
Maybe their hair turns into water too.
Pyro archon! Reader
Claymore. A Big strong war god needs a big strong weapon. Dps and Defense.
Now It’s not just one claymore, It’s DUAL-CLAYMORE, why? Cause it’s a war god that’s why!
I like to think the shield is like Xinyans and XiangLings combined and it’s constantly sending off tiny Fire Discs. Or just symbols shooting fire like what the Pyro Abyss mages can do
For Ultimate I like to think it’s like Childes Daggers but Bigger and on fire just a huge sword made of fire.
The pyro archon doesn’t think just BURNS. and STABE
Cryo archon! Reader
I can’t really come up with much for Cryo archon. But maybe a Catalyst that can summon a giant blizzard that drops down giant ice swords (kinda like Ganyus)
Definitely a sub DPS.
Maybe a healer too since The Tsaritsa is The archon of love?
What do you think about these abilities? Since you mentioned that the students and staff would assume their just strong mages I tried to be very creative with these abilities.
Also how I think the lore could go is maybe somewhere after leonas overblot and before azuls, Crowly has found a way to send Yuu home reluctantly. Yuu, grim and the aduece duo, and maybe some of heartslaybul or savana claw whoever you want come with them to the office to send them home. But Yuu is contemplating whether or not they WANT to go home now. But something goes wrong, maybe grim messes up the spell for the portal to work becuase (although he doesn’t want to admit it ) doesn’t want Yuu leaving, and their greeted with a surprise guest. Now this gives Yuu time to decide if they genuinely wanna go home and when teh archon finally has the materials they need to create a portal Yuu will tell them to leave the portal open (maybe put it into a tiny pocket mirror like the how we have the teapot) because they wanna stay for a little while or just until grim graduates (Que a happy fire cat ) and the archon whose grown attached to some people here was like ok “let our friends visit whenever they want, only if their headmaster allows it”
Now onto the headcanons
Anemo Archon! Reader and Mondstadt! Yuu
Everyone expected a lot of things not a person with Green eyes and (H/C) hair with green highlights. And an odd thing about them was the glowing stone on their person, Yuu didn’t have that?
Everyone’s freaking out because they’ve accidentaly taken another person from Yuus world.
And since Venti Is a well known famous bard In teyvat let’s say or Dear (y/N) is also a known bard and is not at all freaking out about what’s going on in fact let’s say our dear reader recognizes Yuu! And so now (Y/N) is now a new student (and a new headache for Crowley) in the ramshackle dorm! Yup! Just an ordinary human bard, Ehe~.
I’ll leave the rest of this up to you, Where Yuu has to explain what the world of teyvat is like (and why Yuu doesn’t have a phone (and a vision) because Twisted wonderland is far more advance in Technology and teyvat has JUST invented the Camera)
Also I head canon that people with Visions can summon their weapons and object with their visions, ok? Ok. To make things make more sense when reader pulls out a lyre from floating glitter.
Geo archon!reader and Liyue! Yuu
Same things happend here, but hey! We’ve summoned a Funeral Consultant! A very (ahemATTRACTIVEahem) Wise funeral consultant at best!
Our dear Friend (y/n) is very calm about the situation as well. After all everyone and liyue knows their god was killed and The Adepti are watching over them
So Our dear reader is seeing this as a free vacation 😊
Electro Archon!Reader and Inazuma!yuu
Since the god of Inazuma isn’t “Dead” or hasn’t left and the people know what their beloved archon looks like, Yuu will definitely Be Freaking the fuck out
“YOU DIDNT BRING ME HOME YOU JUST SUMMONED MY PEOPLES FUCKING GOD OH SHIT”
insert the meme of the womens face that gets zoomed in on the second panel “the. WHAT.” 😃
And y’know how Eis “Hello” voice line where she makes the traveler her guard she says the same thing to Yuu except “I recognize you are one of my people as your archon I shall be your guard and keep you safe from any danger in this Foreign world” and let’s say The puppet will not be used and Reader will be in control becuase they don’t have to worry about erosion right now so the puppet will be resting while (Y/N) is in control protecting their Precious Inazuma citizen is ok.
Well until They can get the materials they need to open a portal. I’ll let you figure out the rest, but congrats ramshackle you now have a god in your abode 😃✨
-Plot Anon 💗
PLOT ANON-SAMAAAAAAAAAA ILY!!!!!!!!! Thank you for your hard work sob
Anyways, for skills of the archons-
Dendro Archon
I think they'd use a sword or a catalyst tbh, if the skills you listed, it makes a little more sense to have them be more of a catalyst
For their elemental skill, I think they'd summon/throw something similar to Klee's and Aloy's elemental skill except they heal if someone in your party is nearby, their healing could scale by their EM or ER.
For their burst, I like your head canon for the Dendro Archon, so I might go off from that and your idea for their burst, just more tweaking. The dendro archon would be able to summon a large plant that heals AND deals Dendro damage by sapping mobs hp. The amount of life sapping it does and the healing would scale off their original HP (artifacts that give hp won't be of use)
Hydro Archon
I agree with hydro polearm or sword. Too many catalysts
Mmm... To be honest, I think you should have the burst be her skill... The whip idea is intriguing, but I think it would work more for a skill which can allow them to use it several times before waiting for the CD to go down. I think the whip skill would work better with Crit as well.
AND AS FOR THE MENTIONS OF WAVE AND A SEA CREATURE, I'LL DO YOU ONE BETTER BUT FOR THEIR BURST!!!! They summon a large tsunami which takes form of a monster/animal and lunges at the mobs (similar to Zhongli tossing down a dumbbell), however the amount of damage the burst can do is depending on if they are afflicted by the wet status the mobs are afflicted by. If already afflicted with hydro, the mobs would receive double damage while those with other elements afflicted on them would receive the element combination DMG and normal DMG while those that aren't affected by an element, they would receive normal damage. The amount of damage the burst does is scaled by EM.
Pyro Archon
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA CLAYMORE
Hmmm.... I think the skill would be they set an AoE with magma, mobs will receive damage from it and will continue to receive damage if they stay on it, but those who are in party, they will receive an ATK boost that scales from HP.
For the burst, I think I'll use a character from Honkai Impact with their special move which is Murata Himeko in Vermilion Knight: Eclipse battlesuit. Pyro Archon uses their claymore and another claymore but made of pyro and is far more larger and their cut scene has the Archon raise the pyro claymore above their head and slam it down to send pyro erupting from the ground (similar to the pyro axe wielding hilichurls)
Cryo Archon
I agree with catalyst
Mmmmmm.... I'd say her skill would beeeeee... Trapping several mobs or so in ice. They can either do 2-4 ice traps depending if you got their c1. (The ice traps are similar to Mirror Maidens traps BTW but it deals or affects the mobs with cryo)
For burst, I like the idea of summoning a blizzard/swords, but it's similar to Ganyu's. SO I'LL DO YOU ONE BETTER!!!! Cryo Archon will summon a blizzard which freezes mobs without having to use hydro, the freeze status lasts for a total of 15 seconds or higher if you got their c3
Hmmm... I like the idea, but imma tweak it a bit. The archon was in fact summoned through that portal because Grim decided to mess it up just for Yuu to stay a little longer, and so the Archon now resides in Twisted Wonderland as well in order to aide them until they can return back to their world. That way it makes more sense and makes it more fun.
Anemo archon
Yuu would be a bit jealous about them because they got a vision.
Crowley needs to hide his money
Sam has been strictly told to not give them wine that Sam stores in his shop...
Vargus is conflicted about them because they legit float without magic
Trein recurved a major headache
Divus is praying to whatever god existing to take them back
Ehe
EHE TE NANDAYO!?
Geo Archon
Yuu feels awkward meeting the consultant of the funeral parlor having to meet the Director...
Crowley is praying for dear god for them to go away.
"STOP TAKING MY MONEY YOU GORGEOUS FIEND" - Crowley
Train + Crewel + You = Besties
Sam was literally threatened to not joke around with you with business.
You legit did not fuck around with people when in contracts.
"Osmanthus wi-"
"SHUT THE HELL UP" - everyone
Electro Archon
Yuu is literally terrified in "your" presence.

how they kiss: genshin boys
*:・゚✧ nothing much, just me describing how diluc, kaeya, childe and zhongli kiss. this piece is mostly just me trying to practice how to write kisses.
tw: slight suggestive themes, swearing, character story spoilers for childe, zhongli
Tumblr media
✧ Diluc Ragnvindr
• A tentative flame-you don’t know whether it would spark and rise up in flames or die out in smoke, leaving nothing but a charred mess. That’s how Diluc is. You know he wasn’t good at this and he’s both thankful that you’re patient enough and annoyed that he couldn’t even muster a single kiss. At the start of your relationship, he is like a flame on a matchstick during a snowstorm. He burns but with how cold the world is, he fights to survive. With you, you are the closed space that blocks the harsh snow. You are the hands that cradle his flame ever so gently. He may be the one with the Pyro Vision but you warm his cold heart.
• His lips are slightly chapped but you’ll be lucky when you catch them moist, tasting of wine when Diluc taste tests new wines. When you do catch him with wine-flavored lips, you would press your lips against his with an excited grin on your mouth. With your sudden kiss, Diluc had to open his mouth to emit a gasp as you took the chance to slip your tongue inside his mouth. The taste of wine was stronger, your tongue slowly gliding over his own just to taste the sinful beverage. Your hands would grasp his shoulders, massaging the muscle that’s been way too tense. You think that you have surprised him from your impromptu kiss but Diluc is just as passionate as you are.
• Reaching around your back, he pushed you closer to him, chests bumping against each other as he began gaining control. He tilts your head, his ruby eyes staring at your surprised ones. He parts for a chance to breathe before diving back in to claim your lips again. The wine he tasted was still present on his lips but, combined with your taste, he was already getting drunk on the flavor. His nose nearly brushes against your cheek as he hears you mewl from his sudden outburst. His hands roam around your back, leaving warm tingles across your skin despite the layers of clothes. Before you two part for the next breath of air, he whispers into your lips how cheeky you are, his breathless voice making you swoon.
“You truly test my patience, love. Don’t think that I will back down once I’m through with you.”
✧ Kaeya Alberich
• As much as he’s cold to the touch, being a Cryo user and all, he is rather like the freshly fallen snow on a winter’s morning. Yes, it may bite your skin (also doesn’t help that Kaeya is a biter) but it also leaves you tingling after the cold shock response. That’s how he leaves you after kisses: shivering but wanting more as he chuckles on how cute and needy you are for him.
• He’s a charmer so it’s not an uncommon sight to see him with pampered skin and well-taken care of hair. So, as such, you bet that his lips are just as soft and plump (like his chest) because he always seeks out the best lip care. You’re jealous of the way his lips just shine naturally and how pouty they are every time he speaks. Your jealousy became a weapon for him, as he would always go beyond your personal space, making sure his lips are the focus as he smirks. And if that didn’t make you want to wipe the smug smirk off of his face, there was probably more teasing remarks that Kaeya would’ve used. You taste mint and hints of berry when you kissed his lips, swallowing in the chuckle that he emitted. His hand reaches around the back of your head as he tilts your head, deepening the kiss as he teases your lips.
• Remember when I said that he’s a biter? He would always nibble on your lips if the cold wasn’t enough for you. First, it was small kisses on your bottom lip then his teeth gently nibbling on it. He takes his time, making sure your lips are swollen before kissing you fully and letting the cold in your mouth. His one eye is open to see your closed ones, which clearly meant you were enjoying it. He chuckles against your lips before running his tongue along the roof of your mouth before parting away, a trail of spittle connecting your lips. His eye shined with wildly when he sees your dazed look.
“Clocking out already? We’ve only just begun, darling.”
✧ Childe/Tartaglia/Ajax
• There’s three ways on how Childe kisses-and it all really depends on who you’re talking to. In his years as a Harbinger and in his time wandering the Abyss with his teacher, the young man has garnered many a façade. He doesn’t just hand out his love for free-you must brave through his storm that he brewed for himself, the capsizing waves that swallows anything in its path. Only then will you see the eye of the storm and see Ajax.
• As Childe, you literally get what you hear. Childe’s kisses is, well, childish. Quick little pecks on your lips when he’s in a hurry, a loud, obnoxious kiss on your cheek, or him rubbing his nose softly against yours-all of those things are Childe. You can’t really tell if he was ever serious at all when he smirks playfully at your flushed face. As Tartaglia, this is the storm that you need to brave. He is a Harbinger for a reason and his kisses are just as ruthless. Overbearing, domineering, he makes sure that everything you see is only him. His lips glide over to yours before sinking his teeth on your lip until it’s swollen. His tongue would push in, teeth nearly clacking against each other as his hands grip your skin to the point of painful. As a warrior, he dominates, he conquers, and you were no exception.
• But as Ajax, sweet sweet Ajax, he’s none of those things. He lets go of Foul Legacy, he lets go of his weapons-in front of you, it is merely a young lad who grew up too fast too soon. He is the still waters, easily disturbed by any force, so you take his face between your hands as you initiated the kiss. First it was small pecks, then a pleasant plant of the lips against his before whispering against his lips that he is your home. What sounded like a choked cry died in his throat, as his own hands clutched your hips shakily as he draws you closer. His lips are surprisingly smooth, either from the Hydro Vision he’d been using or he’s taken heed to his older sister’s skincare. There was no danger, no tension, no ulterior motive each stroke of tongue you two share. Here, he is finally himself.
“I don’t know what god would give me someone like yourself, babe... But I’m grateful that you’re here.”
✧ Zhongli
• Morax, Rex Lapis, Vago Mundo... many names, many lives, many loves. Zhongli had such a long life of war, love, and everything that no one should’ve ever experienced. He is as long-standing as the earth (haha), never faltering, even with so much weathering. He should be as long-standing, there was no room for cracks, even as a mortal man. Yet, he seems like he didn’t know that you’ve already made several cracks across his heart and weathering him down to a man who is in love.
• His kisses are secure. Vanilla maybe, but you know that Zhongli is being a gentleman. With a hand under your chin to tilt up your face towards his, his thumb smoothly glides over your bottom lip before planting his lips against yours. He moves his lips against yours slowly, giving small pecks along the way, before diving back in. His other hand smoothly glides over your back before settling on your waist, pulling you closer. Meanwhile, your hands would softly tug at his ponytail, making the gentleman shiver as he gives a warning pinch to your waist for being cheeky.
• But there are times when that gentlemanly face breaks through. Most of the time it may be Venti getting him drunk. In this moment, he remembers that he was a ruthless god who formed this land from his own hands. He is the god of contracts and if you wanted it rougher, then he expects to hold your end of the bargain. Excuse my sudden twist, but I am a firm fuckin believer of dragon Zhongli and ya’ll can pry his elongated, forked tongue swiping across your lips before slithering inside your mouth off of my cold dead hands. His fangs threatening to bleed your lips... unless you wanted it, then who is he to oblige? His clawed fingers poking holes through your clothes as more skin is accessible to his scaly hands. There is no escaping this contract.
“My treasure, you created this contract. Now you must abide to the conditions.”

{ Childe x GN!Reader }
{ Summary } Childe gets an owie while sparing. Series Masterlist
{ Warnings } Violence, Swearing, Angry Reader, Injury, Physical Intimacy (Kissing).
{ Notes } Hurting Childe just a little because he refused to come home for me. Lost the 50/50. Reader is a sword user. Reader is suggested to be the Traveler. Self-indulgent again because all my writing is. This one is a real trainwreck but I didn't want to go too long without posting. Something better than nothing? Masterlist
{ Word Count } 2,404
Meeting Childe at the Golden House every week had been your routine for a while now. Right after you had defeated him the first time, he immediately begged you to train with him and you gave in, unable to bear those puppy-dog eyes. And the entire week he spent pestering you about it.
The whole fiasco with Osial had been put behind the both of you. It was probably true that you were too quick to forgive Childe, but he was just so charming. Not to mention he often paid for your meals, suggesting going out to eat after your sessions or if he saw you around the harbor. On a few occasions, you had been out eating with friends or on your own and found he had picked up your tab.
Since Liyue hadn't been destroyed and you got free food out of it, you really weren't all too upset about the situation. The Snezhnayan was actually pretty easy to get along with when Fatui matters weren't involved. He made you laugh too, so you supposed you could tolerate the once-weekly sparing sessions with him.
Childe called it sparing, but normal people didn't spar with actual weapons and fight like they were going to kill their partner. At first, you had tried to convince him it would be much better and safer for the both of you to use practice weapons instead of sharpened blades and arrows. He was quick to decline, saying something about both of you being competent enough not to get seriously hurt. You thought about refuting that on the basis that he had yet to beat you even once.
Even so, every week you found yourself pushing through the doors to the chamber Childe was always patiently waiting in. You'd never gotten there before him and wondered if he intentionally came early. You wouldn't be surprised if that was the case, he probably paced the room plotting his seemingly unobtainable victory.
The hydro vision paired with his combat experience and skill made him a difficult opponent, but he didn't seem terribly good at strategy. He might have been careless because it wasn't a real fight, but somehow you doubted that. He seemed the type to always give it his all. It could be that was his problem, since his loss usually came due to his exhaustion. Maybe if he didn't spend so much energy trying to show off he'd actually be a proper challenge.
"You're finally here," Childe proclaimed dramatically, voice echoing off the walls, "I thought you might have gotten lost on the way or something. Was starting to worry I'd need to go out and rescue you."
"I'm fifteen minutes early, Childe. How long have you been waiting?" you asked dryly, raising your eyebrow questioningly. You took a moment to shrug your adventuring pack off your shoulders and drop it near the door. You rolled your shoulders, relieved to be free of the weight.
"Ahah, anyways, we should get started. I have some business to attend to today," he responded, indiscreetly ignoring your question. It shouldn't have been very surprising that he didn't wait for your response before sending an arrow flying in your direction, but he'd always waited for you to signal you were ready before starting in the past.
Materializing your sword out of habit more than anything else, you raised it to block the arrow with the flat of the blade. The arrow bounced off the metal with a weak dink, clattering to the ground. If you'd reacted a moment later it would have pierced you.
You shot Childe a dirty look, irate from the cheap shot. He responded by grinning wider and taking aim again. You silently promised that he would face your wrath shortly.
Advancing towards him, you swatted the arrow flying your way with your sword. A bow would be less effective at close range, so you intended to close the distance. The redhead laughed, a hint of nervousness creeping into the sound at the pace of your advance. Or perhaps it was the building rage in your eyes.
The bow dematerialized, now Childe held dual hydro-blades in his hands in anticipation of close combat. Once in range, he immediately swiped at you with a blade. You stepped back out of the way, quickly bringing up your sword to parry the next slash coming from the opposite blade.
Childe seemed encouraged by you backing away, a smug look crossing his face. You furrowed your brows, he was so unthoughtful. He insists on using real weapons, shoots at you before you're ready, and now he has the audacity to get cocky.
You raise your blade to swing down at him and he catches your sword on crossed hydro-blades. He lets out a little huff of air, not expecting you to strike with such force, but his arms hold steady. You swiftly draw your blade back to slash at him again. Thorough training has you swiping at him with practiced ease while Childe is forced to switch to the defensive.
It gives you a sort of satisfaction to see his expression change to one of worry, it was your first time seeing such a look on him. You had no intention of actually hurting him, but it was nice to scare him a little. Maybe after this, he'd take the dangers of sparing with actual weapons a little more seriously. But probably not.
You're hardly thinking when his hydro-blades finally fail to parry your blows, the flat of your blade slamming into the side of his chest resulting in a soft crack barely loud enough to reach your ears. A look of surprise crosses your face when he lets out a pained grunt, what had happened finally being processed in your mind.
Immediately you drop your sword, ignoring it as it clatters to the ground before dematerializing. You were internally relieved to see his hydro-blades dissipate too, it would have been terribly unsportsmanly of him to stab you now. Stepping forward on instinct, you pause as you realize you're not exactly sure what to do.
Childe clutches his chest as he coughs a few times and a flood of panic washes over you. If you broke his ribs, his lungs could have been punctured. That would be bad.
"Fuck, that hurts," he huffed out before he attempted to gingerly sit down, right in the middle of the Golden House. Childe winced at the movement, but he managed to settle, leaning on his arms for support. His breathing was heavy from the strain of sparing and you felt extremely guilty, broken ribs had a tendency to hurt terribly and pain would flare up with every breath. At least he seemed to be breathing okay, so his lungs were probably intact.
"Let me get something to ease the pain," you said hastily, jogging towards the door to grab your bag. Your first thought was to numb him up before bringing him to Bubu Pharmacy to get some proper help.
"Aw, are you actually worried about me?" he cooed teasingly, maintaining that signature annoying grin despite the pain that followed him speaking. It was easy to ignore him as you rummaged through your bag for something useful.
It crossed your mind that it would be exceedingly difficult to get him all the way back to Liyue if you gave him anything strong. That limited your options rather greatly, adding that on to your lacking medical knowledge and limited variety of resources left you with fewer options than you would have liked. He probably could make it back without any anesthetic but it would be slow and you'd feel terrible for it.
Even with your lack of selection, you were thankful to have some knowledge and materials for this sort of thing, adventuring made you better at improvising and you learned a lot along the way. Taking everything into consideration, you decided it would be best to go with something topical. You could make a salve to numb up the area and then hopefully drag him to Bubu Pharmacy.
"I'm really sorry, Childe," you apologized, "I didn't mean to hurt you."
"Oh don't worry about it, this isn't the first time I've broken my ribs. Probably won't be the last, either," he replied with a laugh, which caused him to wince. You only frowned at him as you pulled out some plants to grind up. A rock would have worked, but you kept a mortar and pestle for this kind of thing after realizing you'd be doing it often.
You were soon mashing some leaves and a few petals into a paste, with some water Childe so graciously provided. Having a hydro user around was rather convenient when practicing field medicine.
"Whatcha makin'?" Childe asks after a short period of silence, leaning over to get a closer look. You wonder if he's actually curious or if he just can't tolerate the quiet. It seemed the two of you were always talking when you were together, save for when your sparing got too intense to spare the breath.
"A salve to numb you up so I can drag you to Bubu Pharmacy," you responded, still mostly focused on getting the paste to the right consistency.
"What? No, I can't go. I've got work to do," he argued, moving to stand up now.
You were quick to grab his wrist to prevent him from getting up, furrowing your brows. Childe paused, waiting for your explanation.
"You have at least one broken rib, whatever you need to do can wait," you told him sternly, maintaining eye contact. He turned his gaze away from you to hum in contemplation. He knew well enough that giving injuries time to heal was important, but so was his job.
"Fine, I guess what I was supposed to do today isn't that important," he relented, leaning back into a comfortable position once more. Childe had a feeling that if he had insisted on working you'd have found a way to stop him anyway.
"Can you take off your shirt?" you asked, trying to sound as casual and not awkward as possible once you were satisfied with the consistency of the paste. You would have offered to allow him to apply it himself but you figured it would be less painful this way, plus you'd need to bandage his chest afterward, so it didn't make much of a difference.
"Oh my, you're not usually this bold," he teased, reaching to begin undoing the clasps holding his jacket together. His remark made you decide against offering your assistance despite the awareness that even just wriggling out of the jacket probably hurt. It's okay to be a little petty sometimes. As a treat.
Once his torso was bare you shifted your position to be a bit closer and examined his side. There was already the beginning of bruising, but it would get much darker by tomorrow. You ignored the scars and other bruises that were present, very aware of the fact the redhead would tease you for staring if you looked any longer.
"I promise I'll be gentle," you assured, "But it'll probably hurt a little."
Childe just hummed, waving off your warning, so you gathered some of the salve on your fingers. You silently wished you'd had gloves that weren't absorbent with you so your hands wouldn't grow numb later.
It was a quick process of spreading the paste over his ribs, but his eyes remained on you the entire time. You couldn't be sure if he was just interested in what you were doing, but it surprised you that he remained entirely silent.
"It'll take a little while to numb up. I'm going to bandage your chest for support. This will hurt more," you informed him, dragging your pack towards you to dig out a roll of bandages.
"Don't worry, I'm a tough boy," he laughed in response, and you could only smile and shake your head at him. You had faith in his strength, but that didn't stop the guilt you felt over being responsible for his pain. It did make you feel better when he started reminiscing on past injuries he'd sustained in battle once you began bandaging him. How he could look back on them so fondly was a mystery to you.
At first, you were mindful to touch him as little as possible while you were wrapping the bandages. They needed to be a little tight to provide support but you tried to ensure they put as little pressure on his ribs as possible. Unfortunately, your fingers started to grow numb and you hadn't realized you'd been bandaging too tightly until Childe let out a soft grunt of pain.
"Fuck, sorry," you apologized, quickly unraveling the last section of bandaging to rewrap it more loosely.
"Don't worry about it," he said, thinking for a moment before adding, "But, if you want to make it up to me, a kiss would make me feel better."
Pausing in your ministrations, you looked up to see a cheeky grin on his face. You raised a brow, giving him an entirely unimpressed expression. It wasn't entirely uncommon for him to flirt like this, trying to get a reaction out of you. But as you reached one hand up to gently grab his chin, it was his turn to become flustered.
Leaning up, you pressed a chaste kiss to his cheek before moving away and releasing your hold on him. You patted his cheek twice, giving him an amused grin.
"You're welcome."
"Hey! That doesn't count!" Childe immediately whined, pouting at you. You could only laugh at his playful antics as you finally finished wrapping his chest.
"You're cruel, you know that?" the Snezhnayan grumbled, eyebrows still furrowed as he continued to pout. He really did seem like a spoiled kid at this moment and you laughed again, causing his frown to deepen.
You knew his demeanor was all theatrical, but as you stared at his expression you found yourself leaning towards him again. You gently pressed your lips to his, smiling into the kiss when his hands eagerly flew up to your face. You indulged in the kiss for a few moments, smirking when he followed you as you pulled away. Putting a hand on his shoulder, you halted his attempt to continue.
"You can have another kiss once you get checked out at Bubu Pharmacy."
-
If you read all that, I'm sorry lol. I wanted to spend more time on it but I don't want to take too long posting things. Anyways, if you have any better ideas for what I should write send them in. Please.
There's a part two now: Part 2

childe scenario – after the golden house
Tumblr media
you, an ex-fatui executive, decide against your better judgment and tend to the wounds of the near-dead 11th harbinger following his duel at the golden house.  spoilers for the 1.1 archon quest.
gender-neutral reader.  enemies to lovers  soft spot syndrome.  sfw, but contains mentions of blood/injury.  also childe briefly in foul legacy armor.  canon-divergence.  2669 words (nice).
Tumblr media
with the fatui’s nails so deep into the city, staying in liyue probably wasn’t your brightest idea in retrospect.
you blame your sentimentality of liyue on the exact same thing that caused you to leave the fatui in the first place: wanting to live without fear.  while the fatui treated you well enough, as you were considerably efficient in your ranks, being part of a partially underground, partially illegal business wasn’t exactly the most liberating practice either.  it didn’t take long for you to realize that, behind their scheming and pretenses of fair economics, the fatui would have their underlings wound so incredibly tight around their fingers that their violent tasks would rapidly become suffocating.
that is, once you were in the fatui, getting out would be akin to scaling qingyun peak with one arm tied behind your back.
the only reason you were able to?  because you ran.  you were desperate for a new life, sure, but also you weren’t below realizing when something was out of the question.  it took a few months to shake them off your trail, having to move constantly between fontaine and mondstadt, but you finally settled in liyue.
it was a quiet, peaceful city.  the governing body was fair enough with its jurisdictions, and after a year of hiding, you were able to enjoy the lantern rite festival without fear.
that is, until the northland bank sat its obnoxious ass down the street.
archons, really, once you found a place you thought was safe enough, you’d have to start moving again.  initially, you reasoned that it had been over a year, and that the fatui surely wouldn’t go hunting for a runaway executive.  hell, you weren’t even that high on the ladder.  however, a few run-ins with scaramouche and pulcinella had left you paranoid enough that, if they spotted you, they would surely put an end to your traitorism.
honestly, you should’ve ratted them out to the knights of favonius while you were in mondstadt.  make a quick bargain, have jean toss a few coins your way, and you would be set.  it would’ve definitely been worth the trouble, now with the knowledge that the fatui were your neighbors.
now, there’s no time to dwell on what you could’ve done.  it’s either run again, or hold your ground right under the fatui’s nose.  you might, sort of, maybe, probably do not have the funds to move for the third time in a row, but maybe counting couldn’t hurt –
no, yeah, it hurts, you grimace as you slide the coin bag back in your bedside drawer.  outside, it’s dark, and the sky seems a bit more disturbed than usual.  it isn’t usually overcast in liyue, and the blue lightning does nothing to quell your unease.  the streets are also empty, but lights illuminate each building.
from your window, a quick glance towards the northland bank reveals to you that it is uncharacteristically dark.  no lanterns, no lights.  you frown, troubled that the individuals you were so alert to monitoring, had a lifeless stronghold.  not typical of them at all.
so, you decide while your long-time enemies are plotting (or whatever they’re doing that prompts them to close an entire bank for), now might be the best time to potentially make a run for it, light coin bag be damned.
hastily, you rid your apartment of personal belongings by unceremoniously shoving them into your bag.  if it’s one thing you were grateful for in this world, it’s archon magic.  you don’t fuss over the science behind it, but whatever made your bag feel like a bottomless pit was an actual life-saver.  packing is extremely efficient with it, and in less than fifteen minutes, you’re ready to go.
all that’s left is to write a thank-you note to the liyuen couple who let you stay while their son was out exorcising.  at the time, they assured you that you would be no trouble for you to take up a guest room, but nonetheless you tried to pay them with whatever you had left over after commissions.
you grab a writing utensil, still feeling a bit rude to leave on such short notice, and swear to yourself that you’ll visit in the future.  for good measure (after sullenly looking into your coin bag), you leave an acceptable(-ish) amount of mora on your former bed.
all right.  now, time to leave, with your foot out the door and wind scratching at your face, as if the odd overhead weather wasn’t already an omen.
you’re barely past liyue harbor, headed towards the luhua pools, when a comet shoots above you past mount tianheng.  no, not a comet, you realize as it dips from the sky, headed for landfall around a kilometer away.  a comet of water?
if a dead northland bank wasn’t the nail in the coffin, this surely is.  you’ve been around enough in the fatui to know that whatever fell from the sky has to be the work of a vision user, or some more powerful being.  turning towards where you estimate to be the crash site, you weigh your options.  you’re already outside of the city, and the fatui are probably preoccupied.  you can manage a detour for now and inspect the hydro-apparition.  regardless, you deem that the farther away you are from the water you are, the safer you might be from what’s about to happen – you look back towards liyue harbor, and nearly shudder at the rising tide and choppy waves.
after about fifteen minutes of walking in the rain, you find yourself between the slope of the dunyu ruins and mount tianheng.  it’s vacant, save for the weathered ruins, and a sizable crater meters wide.  cautiously, you approach the edge, summoning your sword with one hand and conjuring your vision in the other.  you’re not going to let curiosity kill the cat, especially not if this turns out to be a prank by the archons.
in the center of the mess is, well, another mess.  you blink a few times, wary, as you discern that an individual lies in the rubble.  they’re actually conscious, you soon find out, as they righten themselves from the fetal position into a kneel, supporting their body weight with their arms.  their body is covered head-to-foot in dark, purple armor, and a red mask with a broken, center orb gleams faintly in the night.
it is only when you the individual looks up at you, straight at your head, do you realize that you should not be here this was a bad idea –
and then they collapse.
“shit,” you murmur to yourself, vision still pulsing in your palm, which has become increasingly sweaty.  you step back from the edge as an orb of water surrounds the armored-being, encasing him like a cocoon, before dissipating to reveal a much more vulnerable, tired man underneath.  his hair is matted to his face from the rain, yet a much smaller mask rests on his eyes; his clothes are somewhat torn (you suspect that whatever had happened, his armor absorbed most of the damage), and you can very faintly see his chest heave.
but, ah, speaking of his clothes,
they were the colors of the fatui.
“no, no, bad idea,” you tell yourself over and over again, sword put away yet vision still bouncing in your hands.  you walk away from the crater briefly, before walking towards it again, peaking down to check on the fallen man, and then scamper back.  the whole idea was to run away, not go straight to them, as if you had managed to doom yourself after all.
pacing back and forth, you contemplate for another minute.  he’s clearly injured, with how he’s laying on the ground and not moving, so the nice, not-so-hardened part of you wants to help him.  if he was a regular civilian, surely you’d already be down there and trying to take him back to liyue and patch him up, but he’s with the enemy.  no way someone who can transform into armor is just an underling, so he’s probably someone exceptionally powerful –
“i see you,” a voice comes from the crater, and your vision nearly explodes in your hands from your nerves.  summoning your sword quicker than you ever have in your life, you steel yourself towards the bottom of the crater.
except, he’s not holding a weapon to your face, or threatening to skewer you into a million pieces.  except, he’s not scowling at you, or demanding you assist him at once before he blows something up.
instead, he’s on his knees.  looking up at you with the desperation of a man completely robbed, crippled from something he can’t speak of yet wants to scream about.  his eyes, now free from the mask, pierce into you with a vividness that could rival the richest hues of luhua, and archons damn it do you melt.
you melt, and realize you should run away.  you melt, all while cursing yourself, that this man might not be so kind as to spare you in the future, when he’s back at his full health.  you melt, thinking that, well, you haven’t seen him before, so maybe he doesn’t know who you are either.  you melt, even as you extinguish your vision and put away your sword, and slide to the bottom of the crater to lug his limp body back to the top, to the shelter of the ruins, and rummage through your bag for medicine.
he hasn’t said anything for the past ten minutes, and you’re thankful that there’s finally someone from the fatui who can keep their mouth shut, even if this is half-beaten to death.  “you’re not dying on me,” you insist, as if your words could will him back to full consciousness.  “not when i’m risking my life for someone like you.”
as you work on bandaging his arm, out of the corner of your eye you swear you see his mouth twitch.  is he trying to speak?  no, you want some silence for a bit longer, but pause as you notice a gash on his torso.
“this is medically consensual, okay?”  you wait two seconds to see if he objects, before unbuttoning the lower part of his coat and applying pressure on the wound.  the blood has soaked through his clothes, and just as eagerly, seeps into the cloth you’re shoving against it.  the man stirs as you continue to clean his wounds, and when his eyes open, you’re too preoccupied with your short supply of towels to notice.
when you’re aware of a gaze on you, however, you turn towards him with a hardened face.  you already know what you’re going to say.  even if he doesn’t know who you are, you’re going to make it clear that, for your own satisfaction, you won’t help him back to liyue and he’ll have to make the walk himself.
“you were out there,” you say simply, motioning towards the crater with a nod of your head.  “i’ll patch you up, but you’ll have to get further help yourself.”
the man with eyes of the deep regards you, but you busy yourself by applying gauze.  he’s propped up against a pillar, and you’re crouching at his side.  when you’re about finished, only then do you meet his eyes.
he beats you to whatever you’re about to say.  “i didn’t think,” he starts, and you’re already frowning, “that you’d come back.”
ah, referencing when you practically left him in the crater.  his words are vague enough when he says that you ‘came back’ that you aren’t too tense, and you indulge him in a bit of silence before responding.  “not like i’m used to rescuing people who fall from the sky.”
despite his injuries, the man manages a laugh.  he seems almost flustered at your statement, although you can’t understand why.  underneath his soaked bangs, his eyebrows rise, and he seems almost . . . nervous?  you can’t possibly fathom as to why, but dismiss your curiosity.  the more small talk he coerces you into, the longer you’ll spend with him.
you finish sealing the gauze, tossing the roll back into your bag before commanding it to disappear.  blood has soaked into the ground at his sides, also you’re sure that it’ll was away with time.  you’re about to stand up, satisfied with your good-samaritan duties for the day, when he stops you by locking his fingers around your wrist.
he’s in the middle of saying something, but you refuse to let him, drawing your sword and pointing it directly at his throat, his mouth agape as he releases his hold on you.  you consider each other, and when you’re certain you have the upper hand, you draw your line.
you spit the words like venom.  “do not touch me, fatui.  i’ve done what i can for you, and you won’t be getting anything else from me.”
your blade doesn’t lower from his form, and as you stand above him, you regard his hands, as if he might summon his own weapons in an instant.  if he’s smart (which you think he is yet simultaneously pray he isn’t), he’s probably plotting how to get out of your sword’s reach.  you’re not going to let him, after you’ve been so self-sacrificing, putting your life on the line for someone affiliated with the organization that suffocated the life out of you.
a tilt of the head, yet silence from his mouth.  he seems surprised that, while you allowed him to laugh mere moments earlier, you’re now pointing your weapon at him, although something in the ease of his facial features tells you that he’s not concerned in the slightest.
“i wanted to say thank you,” he breathes finally, and you look as if he’d just punched you in the gut.  “being in your position probably isn’t easy, and i’m the last one you wanted to see, but you still . . . ”
fuck, no, not this.  you don’t know if he’s a prophet, if he knows who you really are, or the ‘i’m on the run’ stamp on your forehead is that obvious, but you aren’t going to fall for the fatui’s words.  your fists clench, and you once more prepare to denounce his organization,
and you’re disarmed in an instant, sword thrown to the side and fingers restricted by his larger grasp.  archons, you couldn’t even see him move, what a deceptive bastard, feigning injury –
“stop,” he hushes, and despite your fury you register it as a plea, not a command.  the man repeats himself, before continuing,  “we won’t haunt you any more; i’ll make sure of it.”
five seconds, then ten.  you had determined that his grip was too strong to break free of, and are left in no position to move unless he releases you.  he holds your gaze without a hint of malice, even though you try your hardest to find any in his eyes.
when he does let go of you, fingers skimming past your flesh, you run faster than you ever have before.
you run, past the ruins, past the harbor, and until you can’t see liyue behind you any more.  you run, unable to see a palace fall from the sky and crash into the ocean, and until you’re surrounded by mountains and there’s not a ginkgo tree in sight.  you run, unsure if his words are true, but certain that he knows who you are.
you won’t trust him.  as you lay on the ground, wheezing to catch the air that’s left your lungs, you once again swear to yourself that you can’t trust the words of the fatui.
as the northland bank lights ignite themselves in welcome of its master, childe presses a hand to his bandaged torso.  a spark of your vision lingers between his fingers, and he observes it before it disappears.
he’s already hurt enough people.  he heads to the second floor, and erases your name from the fatui files.

You'd somehow managed to get yourself hopelessly lost on your quest to find enough berries to fill your basket. You wanted to bake a pie for Sara's birthday, and while she worked at Good Hunter and more than likely had access to the best pies in Mondstadt, you wanted her taste your grandmother's recipe. Her occupation and access to delicious pies would not stop you. But this was more than you bargained for.
You'd ventured along the path outside of Mondstadt, attempting to take an alternate route to the Dawn Winery before doubling back and making your way back Springvale where you'd get a room at the inn and then head back to Mondstadt in the morning. It was supposed to be simple. But you'd ended up in the Archons only knew, which was far from simple.
And it was getting dark.
You'd dressed warm, it was mid autumn and winter was coming soon, and while Mondstadt didn't get nearly as cold as somewhere like Snezhnaya, the snowfall was still rather intense. It was the very end of berry season and you were making the most of it. Your outfit consisted of a cotton dress layered with a wool over skirt and a long wool cloak. You wore a pair of brown leather boots as well, gloves on your hands. You tugged the cloak more tightly around your body as the wind picked up. There was forest up ahead, dense and full of restless shadows so thick you could barely see past them. You had no idea where you were.
You turned in a full circle to try and regain your bearings, and after a moment or two, you realized you could see Mondstadt across the lake. There was the cathedral, backlit by the sinking sun, and all at once, you realized just where you were.
Wolvendom.
Oh. Lovely. I'm going to be eaten by wolves.
You felt a raindrop splatter against your cheek and you looked up, face falling as you watched menacing clouds roll in, obscuring the stars that had just begun to freckle the sky. The God of Anemo was not on your side tonight. Your eyes scanned the area in front of you. The last thing you wanted was to be caught in one of Mondstadt's thunderstorms without shelter.
"Thanks, Lord Barbatos," you muttered sarcastically.
The wind didn't calm.
You heard a twig snap behind you and you turned, tucking your basket against your chest almost like a shield.
There was a hilichurl standing in front of you. It said something in that weird language they all spoke, something that didn't sound particularly friendly.
"Um," you stammered, "please don't hurt me."
It said something again, waving its club in front of it. You struggled to unsheathe your sword from its scabbard, the vision pendant hanging from the cord attached to your belt glowing softly in response.
"Hey, can you just—"
The hilichurl lunged and you dropped your basket, blocking the club with your sword, swinging a leg out to hit the backs of the hilichurl's knees, making its legs buckle beneath it. You sent a blade of water sailing through the air as the hilichurl struggled to its feet, causing it to stagger back, knocking its head on the side of the ledge behind it. You scooped your basket up and made a run for it, only stopping once you were safely behind a tree.
The lone hilichurl was joined by a mitachurl, and you were suddenly in over your head. You had a vision, sure. You could fight, yes, of course. But you were no Knight of Favonius. And your longsword was no match for a massive axe. You couldn't make it work like Cavalry Captain Kaeya. All your combat training had come from your father, who was a knight and from your mother who knew more than a few tricks of her own.
Of course you could fight. But this was a bit much.
You slid your sword back into its scabbard, but the rasp of metal against leather alerted the monsters, and your eyes went wide.
Uh oh.
You tried to scramble up the tree you were hiding behind, but managed to twist your ankle, making you yelp in pain. Nevertheless, you persisted, hauling your body into the branches.
A scream left your mouth when the hilichurl began shaking the tree. You wrapped your arms and legs around the trunk, hanging on with all your might, but the rain was beginning to fall, and the sudden slickness wasn't helping with keeping your hold on the tree. Your world  shuddered as something struck the tree, making you scream again, and you didn't have to look to know that the mitachurl had struck with its axe. A few more swings and the tree would be down.
You grunted with effort as you attempted to pull yourself farther up the tree, hopefully to where the branches thinned enough so when the tree fell you wouldn't end up being trapped. You would not die here, damn it. You refused to. Your hair was now sticking to your cheeks and forehead as rain water streaked your face, the freezing kind of rain that even hydro vision users like yourself weren't all that fond of.
You had no choice but to cry for help, not knowing if anyone would hear you and seriously doubting that they would.
"Help me! Help me!"
Your voice sounded desperate, but at this point, you were desperate.
You heard a shout after the tree shook with another strike, then the crackle of thunder. There was the sound of exchanging blows, something that sounded like a snarl, something animalistic. The ground shook, jostling you free, and you lost your grip, falling down to the next branch, crying out in pain.
The ground shook again and you fell, straight to the ground, into a heap of limbs and messy hair, your basket flying from your hand.
You saw a figure crackling with violet energy before everything went dark.
————————————
You awoke to a loud bang, followed by rumbling. Thunder.
Where... am I?
Your head hurt. Hell, your everything hurt. There was something laying beside you, something warm and furry and soft. An animal? You didn't move to touch it. Your mind was muddled with confusion, but your eyes finally snapped open when a hand lifted one of your own hands.
There was a young man hovering above you. He was wearing a brown hooded coat and a light brown poncho sort of top with tribal markings. The rest of his toned torso was left exposed. A necklace with what looked like fangs hung around his neck.
His hair was long and messy and silver in color, and he had a handsome face, his eyes a shocking shade of scarlet. There was a scar on his left cheek. He looked to be around your age, maybe a little older.
Who...?
He blinked in surprise when he noticed your eyes were open.
"You wake," he said. His voice was a rough sound, low and almost raspy. He sounded like he didn't speak much.
You took note of your surroundings.
You were in a cave. There was a fire crackling a few yards from your feet, and from what you could see through the mouth of the cave, it had begun to pour outside. Thunder was growling overhead, lightning flashing, the brief light making it look like daytime. You were laying on a collection of pelts and a few pillows. The cave was otherwise empty except for the silver haired boy and you. You turned your head to look at whatever was beside you.
You were met with a wall of grey fur, and it took you a moment to realize you were staring at a wolf's back. There was a wolf beside you. You tried to jerk into a sitting position, but the young man pushed you back down.
"No," he simply said, "rest."
He made a good call. Your head was spinning.
"What... Happened?"
He glanced at you. You noticed a bowl of what you recognized after a few moments as wolf hook berries, as well as a bowl full of what looked to be crushed up ones beside it. There was a rock stained with the juice sitting beside this bowl.
"You fall from tree. I save you from monsters."
"...Oh."
"How long was I out?"
"Hours."
The young man turned to the bowls behind him, then looked back at you.
"Your name?"
It took you a moment to realize what he was asking.
"Oh. It's (Y/N). My name is (Y/N). What's yours?"
A beat of silence as he studied you.
"I am Razor."
Razor reached into the bowl of paste, smearing some of it onto your palm, which you didn't notice had been scraped up. It stung.
"Medicine. Will help you heal."
You'd heard about the medicinal properties of wolf hook berries from Barbara at the cathedral before, so you didn't doubt that Razor was doing this to help.
"Thank you," you said, shifting, "for helping me. I should go, though—"
"No!"
You started at the sudden volume of his shout. "No?"
Razor looked sheepish, his voice quieting. "You rest. You are hurt."
You relaxed back into the pelts, sighing. "Okay. I'll rest. But I have to go when the rain stops."
Razor shook his head. "Your ankle is hurt."
You moved both your ankles, met with a painful stiffness in your left one. Razor was right. It was most likely sprained. It would be hard to get back to Mondstadt like that, and it was a beyond stupid idea to try and get anywhere in this rain, let alone on an injury.
A massive grey wolf suddenly entered the cave, startling you. It was carrying something in its mouth. You recognized it.
"My basket!"
The wolf walked over to you, setting the basket down beside you, then promptly turned and left. Another smaller wolf entered a few minutes later carrying what looked to be the leg of a small animal.
Razor took the leg from the wolf, and then turned so his back was to you, working with his hands. He then dropped the meat into a pot you hadn't noticed was over the fire.
"You don't eat it raw?" You asked, and Razor shook his head.
"No. Makes me sick. Heat helps."
"Yeah, I guess that makes sense," you said, "humans can digest raw meat, but we can also get sick from it. Cooking it makes it easier to eat and gives more nutrients."
Razor stared at you for a moment, something almost like awe sparkling in his eyes. It was a little endearing. You smiled.
Was this guy... raised by wolves?
He certainly looked the part.
His body was toned and covered in scars. He looked wild.
"Sleep," he said, "I will wake you to eat."
You were tired. You rolled onto your side, realizing for the first time that you'd been stripped down to your underclothes, left in your blouse and the cotton skirt you'd been wearing underneath the woolen one.  Your shoes were gone, so were your socks. You spotted said articles of clothing on a rock, presumably drying.
"I shouldn't," you said, "I might have a concussion."
He tilted his head curiously.
You tried to think of a way to explain what that was. You didn't think that Razor was dumb, far from it. He'd successfully treated your wounds and figured out how to cook without much outside interference it seemed. If anything, Razor was very intelligent.
You sighed. "It's something that can occur if you hit your head really hard."
Recognition dawned on his face. "Oh. I think I know."
"Know?"
Razor nodded. "Yes. Has happened to me. I fall into hole. A red man helped me."
You furrowed your eyebrows. Red man?
"Someone from Mondstadt?"
"Do not know."
You ran through a mental list of any men that fit the description of 'red,' but Diluc was the only one who came to mind, so you settled on him.
"I need to stay awake, just until the dizziness passes," you said.
Razor simply nodded, turning back to the fire, and you relaxed against the pelts beneath your body.
You tried propping yourself up a few times to check and see if the dizziness had gone, and when it did, you fell asleep fast.
You faded in and out of consciousness for the next few hours, waking only when Razor shook you in order to feed you. You ate greedily, not realizing how hungry you were until the tender meat was gone. After eating, you fell asleep again.
You awoke fully in the morning, and you rolled over to find Razor sound asleep beside you. The wolf that had been beside you before was now gone. The rain had stopped, leaving behind that musty smell that rain left behind.
"(Y/N)!"
You started. That sounded familiar, even if the voice was far away. You propped yourself up on your hands, wincing at the remaining tenderness of the scrapes. They could have gotten infected if not for Razor, and you were thankful for his help.
The voice called out again, and you realized with a start who it belonged to. Amber.
Was there a search party?
You put a hand on Razor's shoulder, about to shake him awake, but when you looked down, his eyes were already open.
"Who is it?"
You smiled. "Amber. She's an Outrider for the Knights of Favonius. Someone must have come to the knights to tell them I was missing."
"You were... missing?"
"Yeah," you said, "I got lost."
You cupped your hands around your mouth. "Amber! In here!"
A beat of silence, then the sound of distant running footsteps getting closer. Amber appeared at the mouth of the cave, relief washing over her face as she hesitated before entering the cave.
"Razor," she said, "can I come in?"
Razor nodded. "Red girl is friend."
Amber walked towards you at a hurried clip. "What happened?"
You smiled. "I got attacked by hilichurls as the storm started and Razor rescued me. Wait, you two know each other?"
"Yep!" Amber said, "as an outrider, I know everyone in the Mondstadt region, including those in Wolvendom. You were in good hands."
"Razor helps friends," Razor said, matter-of-factly.
"Thank you for helping her, Razor. I'll take her home."
Amber helped you get redressed, and it felt good to have the comforting weight of your sword on your back again.
As you began to walk, supported by Amber's shoulder, you turned back to Razor.
"I'll come back to visit. I'll bake you a pie."
Razor seemed to like the prospect of you coming back.
"Visit again, friend!"
You smiled.
After getting back onto the main path, Amber spoke.
"You really need to be more careful, (Y/N)," she said, "we were all so worried! What were you thinking?"
You chuckled sheepishly. "Sorry, sorry. I wanted to find an alternate path to find more berries. I got lost. I couldn't have predicted that a storm would roll in. The Anemo Archon was not on my side."
"Yeah," Amber said with a note of bitterness, "he's finicky like that."
You snickered. "You say that like you know him."
Amber simply laughed.
You looked down at the basket in your free hand, noticing that not all of the berries inside had been lost. It looked to be just enough for one pie.
You watched as the first few buildings of Springvale came into view, making a mental map of the area in your head. You'd have to write down the location of the cave when you got home. You'd be seeing Razor again soon, this time bearing gifts instead of injury. Sara's pie would have to wait. After all, she did have access to the most delicious pies in Mondstadt, what with working at Good Hunter and all.
You had a feeling this was the beginning of a wonderful friendship.
You just hoped he liked berry pie.

The Thief and the Wolf
| Razor x Male! Reader |
"This could have gone a lot better," (M/N) muttered in a rather raspy voice before coughing, the feeling of water in his lungs preventing him from breathing properly. Not to mention he had sand on and in his soaking wet clothes which was not the most uncommon occurrence as a Hydro Vision user in all honestly it just usually wasn't accompanied by sand.
The traveler let out a yawn, partially covering his mouth as he did so before starting to wring out his clothes as best as he could so he didn't feel as heavy as he walking. He also took the time to wring out his hair as well before continuing as he was that confident he wouldn't be caught up with that quickly. He was in Wolfendom after all and not many knights would follow someone in there due to how dangerous it was.
"Gods, that was way too much trouble for only a hundred mora. That shopkeeper can make twice as much in a day, I don't see the issue with borrowing it." He sighed as he pulled out the pouch of mora he had taken, counting the coins to make sure he still had it all. "I could have left them broke." He grumbled to himself, spinning the bag by its drawstrings like a toy as he started to walk into Wolfendom. "But I can't go back into Mondstadt for a while."
He let out an exaggerated sigh deciding he should probably set up camp even though he really doesn't want to. Staying the night in Wolfendom is probably the stupidest thing he could do but he had already made up his mind and he was a stubborn individual even towards himself. (M/N) let out a bit of a huff as he started collecting sticks and dry plants to make himself a fire before he froze, extremely wary of his surroundings but lucky enough the hilichurls and slimes were already asleep for the most part. He just had to be quiet which he was exceptionally good at as a thief but it didn't make him any less nervous, never did.
He picked a broken wagon on the side of the road to use as shelter; it was the worst location but he would have shelter from the rain if it were to rain as he thought. The clouds have been pretty dark all day and he was expecting absolutely everything to go wrong tonight after that shit show of a steal. Although he was extremely hesitant to start a fire as it could gain unwanted attention but his fingertips were starting to look a bit blue.
He sighed in relief as he finally got the fire started and sat down under the tattered cloth of the ruined wagon, feeling the warmth of the fire against his skin. This was always his favorite part of the day, being able to sit down next to a fire and relax; relax as well as a wanted thief in the middle of a forest of monsters could but relax nonetheless. He sat in a position easy to stand from with his hand near the hilt of his sword just in case he needed it. For some reason, out of all the sounds in the woods, the howl of the hunting wolves made him feel easy. Maybe because of the stories he has heard of the wolves of Wolfendom. Or maybe just the lack of attacks by them.
(M/N) closed his eyes for what felt like a minute only to jump a bit at the sound of footsteps nearby, his hand immediately gripping onto his sword and shifting his eyes to look at where the footsteps were coming from. Yet he immediately started to relax a bit when he saw who it was; a boy his around his age with long messy silver hair and bright red eyes which were illuminated by the light of (M/N)'s fire. He carried a claymore that looked like (M/N) would struggle to get off the ground and sported quite a few scars on his pale skin. He didn't look like a knight but more like the boy he has heard in the stories of Wolfendom, the one raised by wolves.
"I want to guess you're Razor?" (M/N) asked, his voice stable but his hands held a lot of tension as they hovered over his weapon. The boy tilted his head curiously.
"You know Razor?" His English wasn't the greatest as he struggled through his sentences as a toddler would but that was something (M/N) was expecting; he was surprised he knew how to speak at all and wondered who taught him if he was truly raised by wolves.
"I heard some stories about you." (M/N) replied back, not being much of a talker towards people either; more specifically strangers.
"It's dangerous here alone. What is name?" Razor questioned him as he got a little closer, noticing how (M/N) seemed a little less cautious of him. "You soaked." He observed out loud as the thief's clothes hadn't dried yet.
(M/N) hesitated a bit as Razor walked closer but sense no ill intent towards him, not to mention Razor would have no idea of his crimes if he never went into the city. "(M/N). I just swam in a lake."
"Why would (M/N) swim in clothes?" Razor asked, joining (M/N) by the fire while still giving the other a fair amount of space between them.
"I wasn't planning on it," (M/N) huffed as he relaxed a bit more at Razor's friendly attitude towards him. Razor stared at (M/N) for a few moments, their eyes glancing over almost every part of his body and making him extremely uncomfortable. "What?"
"Nothing," Razor replied with a smile that just made (M/N) even more uncomfortable because he didn't know what he was thinking. Although, his smile did remind home of a puppy. "You traveler?"
"I suppose, I mean I don't have a home so I wonder." (M/N) muttered a bit but Razor was surprisingly still able to hear him. The unsurprising crackle of thunder rang out in the distance and the boy watched as Razor looked up at the sky. "Shouldn't you return to your family?"
"They know where. Razor not want to leave alone, that all." He spoke as if they were friends. "Wolfendom very dangerous alone and you seem lonely."
"I like being alone, for your information." (M/N) muttered, nervousness in his voice when the fire sizzled. It was starting to rain. He didn't like being in complete darkness but he didn't want to risk making a fire in the wooden and cloth wagon he was taking shelter under. Razor raised an arm over his head as if to protect himself from the rain as there was only so much his cloak’s hood could protect him from. He was adamant in respecting (M/N)'s space but refusing to leave. (M/N) stared at him for a moment, being a bit stubborn in letting the boy close to him but eventually gave in. He scooted over to make room next to him, "You can sit with me."
"Thank you," Razor thanked as he moved into the ruined, covered wagon and sat down next to (M/N), not giving him as much space as he would have liked. Razor continued to watch (M/N) every so often as if he wanted to make the other uncomfortable but (M/N) was too busy staring at the fire and watch it struggle to stay alive as the rain slowly picked up. "(M/N) afraid of dark?"
"What? No, of course not. I'm not a child," (M/N) was quick to react with the lie but Razor didn't seem very convinced as the (M/N)'s cheeks turned bright red as he spoke.
"Don't worry, Razor protect you," Razor smiled at him making (M/N) even more embarrassed than he already was. (M/N) wanted to retaliate but he did feel comforted by the fact he was so willing to protect him even from his irrational fears. "Want to wear coat? It will keep you warm." He was offering his coat, although his sentence itself was a bit vague.
"I'm fine." (M/N) grumbled under his breath but Razor took off his cloak and tried handing it to (M/N) anyways.
"Razor will not take no for answer. (M/N) could freeze" Razor replied sternly as he did his best to wrap the cloak around (M/N)'s shoulder without touching him. Razor himself lacked clothing that could keep him warm but at least he wasn’t completely soaked.
"You're overreacting, first of all. Secondly, why do you care? You don't know who I am,"
"(M/N), thief who travels the world, steal to survive," Razor smiled putting (M/N) completely off guard. "Heard stories about you too. Razor not know it was you until you said name. You swam in the lake because you got caught, right?"
"You're a lot smarter than I thought," (M/N) muttered nervously, averting his eyes.
"Don't like that you steal. If I take care of you, would you stop?" Razor asked.
"What do you mean?" (M/N) asked, his cheeks becoming flushed again.
"Feed you, give you shelter, protect you," Razor explained simply, his smile refusing to fade.
"I don't like relying on others," (M/N) grumbled, gripping onto Razor's cloak and bringing it closer to him as he watched the fire slowly get smaller. "But I do like the idea of having someone there for me. But frankly, I don't trust you."
"Then let Razor gain trust," Razor got a bit closer making (M/N) move away from him. "Razor want to help you."
(M/N) let out a heavy sigh, "I'll stay for a day and decide then."
"Thank you," Razor said gently headbutting (M/N) like a dog or cat would nuzzle someone. (M/N) was going to tell him off for it but the happiness in the other's scarlet eyes was hard to say no to. "I will give you a home."

omg lee mihoyo released 2.6 drip marketing 10 days earlier than usual i’m not okay—
idk might get controversial here: this is why i don’t heavily depend on fanarts of a character we never seen before because we tend to set our expectations so high that in the end, most of us will be like :///. i did want him to have a high ponytail but wow, he’s so pretty 😍😍😍.
anyway, fun fact: his design was inspired during the period when japan opened their borders (referencing to the abolishment of the vision hunt decree and maybe the sakoku decree. tbh, i think they completely forgot about it lol.), so it has some western/modern influence. i heard that a lot of people were disappointed is because there are little to no japanese elements on it, therefore kinda “bland”.
what i noticed is that raiden had similar reactions as well when her model was released. her design wasn’t well perceived at first because it’s too “simple” for an archon like herself to wear. our expectations were set so high from venti and zhongli. however, what got everyone sold was her kit aka the “booba sword”. so i’m hoping ayato have a cool kit as well to change that around~. i mean, i’m gonna pull for him either way but still.
i'm literally not okay either, my whole life is currently revolving around him like he is the sun. i think mhy did it since he was in that cutscene (though briefly) with ayaka so there wouldn't be any guessing who he was.
yeah ngl i was not disappointed with his design more underwhelmed. i think i really wanted him to have clothes similar to ayaka, but once we saw that cutscene leak (that's no longer a leak) i think i felt ok with his white suit. and now seeing his face fully, it looks just like i had imagined and i'm pretty happy that he doesn't have a long rat tail like zhongli or kaeya >.<
and YEAH i do think the storyline will focus on the abolishment of the sakoku decree since the people of inazuma themselves seem to be hesitant about lifting it. I'm fairly sure that the navy were some of the first to westernize (probably a connection to him being a hydro user and commander of what is technically a military group) and ayato's sleeves still having the kimono flow to it shows that he still is integrating inazuma into the western style. I'm pretty sure this is all to represent inazuma moving away from being a closed nation. though I do understand the disappointment.
even though I've read through countless leaks on ayato's skill set, I'm not even sure what to believe. I've seen that he might not be a sword user or he could possible be a stance switch character. but what really interests me is how he's holding a sword a lot like raiden did, as in same pose, and it's seemingly made out of water. i just hope he isn't similar to childe and is more of a main dps than an applicator or sub dps.
and yeah either way i will be pulling for him and his weapon just bc he <3

“I doubt that the strongest in the room could escape my arrows. Would you like to try your luck?” - Liang Tao, The Ice Prince of Liyue Harbor
——————————————————
INFORMATION
Liang Tao is a new government official in Liyue, having taken over management of sea trade and ports in the district. He works under Ningguang, and helps to keep the contracts with neighbouring domains firm.
After studying with several merchants for most of his teen years, Tao managed to secure a place amongst many who sought out a place in the higher courts — the Qixing. After much deliberation, the man was inducted into the Qixing and worked as a student under Ningguang.
His childhood was not a happy one, with his parents being murdered when he was just a small baby. However, he was quickly found by a poor fish merchant who happened to be passing by the area, who took the child home and raised him as his own. This was beneficial to the merchant, who’s name was Liang Xue, because his wife could not bear children.
Tao is very loyal to Ningguang and the Qixing, however he will do anything to secure his own personal benefits, even betraying the Qixing if it was the only reasonable solution. However, there is an agreement with Ningguang and Keqing that allows this betrayal, should it ever come to that.
Tao’s personality is very closed off, having shared very little about himself. He demands mutual respect from those he works with, but is kind in his own way to his subordinates and fellow Qixing members. He knows that the work they do is stressful, and understands when things go awry. However, he sometimes does not know when to stop speaking, having offended many with his blunt words.
Having run the fishing ports and sea trade business, Tao has had several run ins with Beidou, who treats him like a little brother. He appreciates this, and often shares a drink when she is in town.
——————————————————
ATTACK LIST
Normal Attack: Stealth Arrow
The arrows are much quieter than other bow users, allowing him to slip the first shot without enemies noticing.
Ice Attack: Charging Ice
A charged shot that takes 25% of the targets health. Can also be used on objects to freeze them in place. Pairs well with hydro attacks for increased damage.
Ice Attack: Flurry
Tao can rapid fire 3 arrows within 10 seconds. These are pre charged shots that do up to 15% enemy damage, higher if weapon level is higher.
Cool down: 20 seconds
Special Attack: Summoner’s Rage
Tao can summon up to 15 ice arrows and sent them directly at a single target from his location. Has a distance limit of 10 ft, meaning he has to be semi close to his target for it to work.
Cool down: 45 seconds
——————————————————
MISSIONS & QUESTS
Story Quests:
The Ice Prince of Liyue Harbour
Ningguang asks you to check in on one of the Qixing, but he is less than willing to cooperate. Can you break through his cold exterior and follow Ningguang’s request?
World Quests:
Those Who Fall Under
Tao asks you to investigate several unknown cargo ships off the coast of Liyue Harbour, worried they might have less than friendly intentions. What are they here for…?
Lost Packages
It seems like Tao’s employees have managed to drop several of his important documents on the way from a meeting in Mondstadt. Do you think you could find them and bring them back for him?
——————————————————
INCORRECT QUOTES
“No, you may NOT use me as your wallet. Do I look like Childe?” - Tao to Zhongli
“If you committed a crime, Felt, I will hang you from the rafters. Unless they were my enemy, then, good job.” - Tao to Felt
“You may be pardoned by the Qixing, but are you pardoned in the eyes of the Archons?”
“For the last time, I do NOT need a step ladder!” - Tao when someone makes fun of his height.
——————————————————
VOICE LINES
Hello...
My name is Liang Tao. Pleased to make your acquaintance, send all complaints direct to the Qixing.
Good morning...
Are you ready for the day to begin?
Good afternoon...
Ah, I think it must be time for afternoon tea with Lady Ningguang.
Good evening...
Care to watch the sunset with me?
Good night...
Don’t get lost on the way home. That would make too much paperwork for me.
Chat - Relax
I wonder if Felt will let me work in peace for a while...
About Tao...
No, the rumours of me being married are not true. Liyue just likes gossip.
About the Vision...
Many have been blessed with a Vision, however many can survive without it. Is it really necessary to put Vision wielders on a pedestal?
Anything to share...
My height is not a problem for me, I manage just fine. Although, Beidou and her crew sometimes mock me.
About Felt...
He is not my child biologically, but having a small vision user turn up at your doorstep at ungodly hours really makes you do crazy things.
About Ningguang...
I respect Lady Ningguang quite a lot, however we don’t always see eye to eye on some things. But I trust her with my life.
About Beidou...
She gets me drunk. We like to have a drink when she turns up at the harbour with her crew. Good company.
About [blank]...
We do not get along. I know you’re supposed to respect the Seven, but the Pyro Archon and I have our fair share of battles... He just likes picking on me because I’m smaller than him, I’m sure.
More about Tao - I
I don’t know my biological parents, but I’m sure they had their reasons for their disappearance. I wonder if they would be proud of me now...?
More about Tao - II
My father was a fish merchant, and my mother was a seamstress. They raised me well, I believe.
More about Tao - III
I often think about adopting a cat. Do you think Felt likes animals?
More about Tao - IV
It’s been a while since my mother passed away. My father and I often visit her grave together. I still have her hairpins, and wear them daily.
More about Tao - V
As a cryo user, I often get extremely cold. Felt likes to throw fur blankets over me when I fall asleep at my desk.
Tao's hobbies...
I personally don’t have many hobbies, but I keep every gift from Felt in a special box.
Favourite food...
My favourite food? Wanmin Restaurant’s Crystal Shrimp is a good snack.
Least favourite food...
Almond Tofu. I don’t understand how that Adeptus can stand the texture.
Birthday...
Oh! How wonderful. Today is a special day, please do accept my gift. Maybe we can find Felt and enjoy a meal together!
——————————————————
Battle and Exploration Lines
Added to Party...
Oh? You need my aid?
Don’t dawdle, I might be needed later.
Where are we headed this time?
Elemental Burst...
Now you’re making me mad..!
Stay still and accept fate!
The cold is biting, isn’t it?
Idle...
I wonder if Felt will let me work in peace for a while... (Chat: Relax)
I should really bring a gift back for my employees...
Maybe I should ask about sailing the ocean, it might be fun.
Knocked Out...
This is not... Over yet...!
So... Cold...
I’m sorry father, I have failed you...

Thoughts on Dainslief so far?
(I had to google Dainslief bc all i know from him is that he’s the one who narrates the teyvat trailer video- :pp)
So um.. i made a whole analysis down below— HSHSHS AND I KNOW U ONLY ASKED FOR THOUGHTS ON DAINSLIEF BUT IT MADE ME GO ON A ANALYSIS ON HIS CHARACTER- 😭😭
SO HERE’S MY THOUGHTS ON HIM:
Dainslief looks like a cool character- :p he kinda looks like Kaeya tho.. blue eyes and one eye covered, unless thats a Khaenri’ah’s thing— but he looks kinda intimidating. He looks like the kind of guy that’ll give off the bad guy vibes but he’s the good guy all along- :p
If he ever comes out, im pretty sure i’m not getting him- 🥲 but he looks like he’s either a polearm or sword user- (or a claymore but i believe he’s either of those two-). I can’t see a vision on him, so I don’t know what I’ll say regarding abt that- maybe he’s a cryo?? Hydro?? Electro?? Eh- we’ll find out soon enough. That’s about it really- :ppp
If u want to read the analysis,, go ahead. I made it undercut bc i know some ppl aren’t interested in reading it- 🤧 happy reading- (and tell me ur thoughts abt it too-!)
Tumblr media
So, i’ve seen and read ppl theorizing that Dainslief is aether from the future. Which I somewhat agree with-
Judging by the last line of this photo, “Dain, what is that strand of blonde hair to you? Someone you must kill? Or the object of your penitence?” And penitence means (for all those who don’t know, like me- :p) the action of feeling or showing sorrow and regret for having done wrong; or repentance for short. Dain being Aether in the future could be possible-
Or he could be a completely separate character, maybe even related to Kaeya (they both share blue eyes and one eye covered- unless that’s a thing in Khaenri’ah-). Who knows? Maybe he could be a follower to Lumine, maybe he wants to save her but couldn’t- similar to Aether—
Also, I noticed that the pic refers to “chalk”, which is kind of connected to our current event “The Chalk Prince and the Dragon”. I remember Albedo mentioning something about chalk in his voice lines- (i listened to his voice lines awhile bc i know im not getting him- ;;w;;) i think he also mention something abt gold also. How without human something, gold wouldn’t exist, idk. I forgot- :p
“The future must atone for bygone mistakes, as the bond familiar falters and break.” Hmm.. i thought this was interesting. Since bygone means “an earlier time” (according to google-) so past mistakes that the future must atone. But what mistake? And what bond? Actually, whose bond broke or will break? 👀 i’m not sure abt it so i’ll leave it there (maybe Lumine’s and Aether’s?? Or Dainslief and someone??)
Also,, i remember him saying something in the trailers. “Can u save her? Yadda yadda. The one who used to love flowers.” So judging by this (just watch the trailer pls- 😭😭 im bad at remembering stuff and im too lazy to check-) Dainslief seem to be referring to Lumine (the pic actually show both lumine and aether-). And i think this is where the Dainslief is Aether in the future came from.
That’s all- :ppp sorry that i turn ur simple question into an analysis— (a stupid and useless analysis actually— HSHSHSH-)

Roland/Vision
Vision
“No! EM!”
It was just supposed to be a simple scouting mission. They were supposed to find the hilichurl camp, report it on their maps, maybe clear it out if they thought they could handle it. Of course, they could, between the four of them, three had visions. Roland understood he was the only one without it, but he was just as strong as the rest of them. So they made the effort and cut down the camp without much issue.
There wasn’t supposed to be a ruin guard.
They knew their limits. If it was just the guard, they could’ve handled it. They had enough ranged members, and the strength to take it down if they managed to stun it. But after a lengthier battle, as well as being surprised, they couldn’t fight it.
Roland watched his partner fly through the air, having been hit by the large rock fist as it spun like a top. He felt in that moment like he’d been hit too, heart sinking in terror as he watched the pyro-user he was in love with hit one of the large trees with a force that nobody could just walk away from.
His eyes darted between the giant and his lover, debating if it was worth trying to fight. His fellow friends, the hydro catalyst wielder making their best effort to keep the creature distracted and at bay, while his sister, the cryo bow-woman, took shots at the creatures eye in attempt to stun it.
His sword fell from his hands, deciding the battle wasn’t worth it. He raced towards his long-haired ally, crumpled against the base of the tree like a sack of rocks. By some miracle, or perhaps a curse, the man was still breathing, albeit raged and visibly pained.
The sight was awful, but he knew he didn’t want to abandon him to his suffering. There had to be a chance, some way to save him, but even just glancing at the twisted form and collapsed ribcage of his lover, he knew there was no way he was making it through this.
“Ro...” The man tried to speak, but the effort made him need to cough, which then lead to more pained noises. The visionless rested his hand on the man’s shoulder, gazing up from his knelt position.
“Shh...” He whispered, reaching to clasp both his hands. “Don’t talk, just... just breathe, okay?” He could see the dubious gaze in the injured man’s eyes, and it took all his effort not to just break down crying. Now wasn’t the time to mourn what he was losing. “We... we’ll get someone, we have to. We-we’ll get Barbara, she’ll come and she’ll heal you up. It’ll take a while but you’ll be good as new. You just need to hang on, alright Em?” The pained man nodded, gazing into his desperate companions eyes.
He quickly glanced behind him, looking to the fight. It was that moment the ground shook with the weight of the guard landing after a leap. His sister took the catalyst-user and pulled them out of the way, just in time to avoid the impact of the fists. He gave her a look that asked all he needed to know, to which she nodded in confirmation. She was giving them time.
Another cough drew his attention back to his beloved and he quickly placed a gentle hand on his shoulder to keep him from rocking back and forth and further injuring himself. “It-it’ll be okay. We’ll get you home, baby.” God, he could feel the usually-warm touch fading into a normal, if not slightly cold, temperature. No no no. “I’ll spend every day with you in the chapel, okay? I-I’ll try and make that soup you like, what was it? The calla lily seafood soup. It won’t be the best, but I’ll do it. I-I’ll hold you hand and kiss you goodnight, and...” He could see the effort behind his partner’s eyes, all his energy being put into just staying alive.
God, he could feel the blood caking his forearm and hands.
“I’ll sing you that song you like, the... the one edgy one Venti sings. I’ll do all the chores and clean everything up, even though I don’t wanna. I’ll do everything, I’ll baby the shit out of you, okay? Just, just stay, okay? We’ll bring Barbara. You’re gonna be okay.” He was lying. They both knew it. Part of him wondered if his partner knew it from the desperation in his voice or by his own pain.
“Ro...” He didn’t cough this time, just tried to swallow the blood he wanted so desperately to expel. “I love you. S-” A pause as he tried again to breathe, the pain greatly increasing. He wasn’t keeping air, his rib likely punctured one or both of his lungs. “So much.” He tried to raise a hand, but he didn’t have the strength to lift his hand. Noticing this, he let out a small bit of air, opting instead to rub his thumb on his partner’s hand. “D-don’t l-listen to him. T-this isn’t... n-not y-your faul...t.”
God, he couldn’t believe this miracle of a man was still trying to comfort him, when he was the one dying. He was scared of death, they both knew, and here it was, taking him. And his priority was him. Him and what their ex-friend had told him months ago.
Tears began streaming down his face. “B-but I’m the one who wandered too far, Emerson. If I didn’t... it wouldn’t’ve found us. I should’ve paid more attention, and...” Emerson clutched his hand with his fading strength, drawing his attention.
“N-not... yo...ur... f-fault.” He insisted with his waning consciousness. His gaze was drifting, and he seemed to notice, flicking his eyes back towards his partner with a pained smile. “K-kiss me?”
Even now he remembered his stupid joke he always said, a dumb attempt at comfort all those times before. I’d be okay dying if I had your lips on mine. It was always said in jest, for those times when he didn’t want to stop kissing because he needed air. He couldn’t believe this stupid man was bringing it up even now.
He wasn’t one to deny his request. Tears welling in his eyes, Roland pulled a hand from the bloody pile, resting it gently to his partner’s cheek. He leaned into it, thankful for the contact but likely also a chance to not have to support himself. In a horrible, tormented moment, he pressed his lips to Emerson’s, a gesture he melted into.
He felt the man’s eyes flutter closed. He felt the man’s breath stop coming from his nose. He felt the moment the man’s weight was held only by his hand.
He hated this.
He pulled away, tears streaming down his face as he looked at the body of the man he loved. The body. There wasn’t life anymore, there wasn’t the man he’d spend two years loving. There was just a body, a lifeless shell; a memory.
He let out a pained sob, resting his head on the shoulder, desperately clinging to his hands as if clutching them hard enough would bring his life back.
He didn’t hear when the sounds of elements and arrows dulled behind him. He didn’t hear the loud steps of the monster that took his partner. All he heard was his own sobs.
Hot.
The sensation surprised him, and he jerked his entire body away from the corpse of the man. It took a second for him to realize what it was he felt: a burning pain on the side of his pinky, as if he’d touched a burning hot iron. His eyebrows furrowed in confusion, and he slowly crawled forward, eyes darting around in an attempt to solve the mystery.
“Roland!” His sister’s voice piped up behind him, but he didn’t care. He need to know. What if it was something to bring him back? He began searching the body for the source of the pain.
“Roland!” The voice spoke again, this time with a tug on his shoulder. He spun around to see the pale face of his sister, standing right next to him with a look of alarm. “We have to go! We can’t keep fighting!”
He yanked his arm from his sister’s grasp, a confused and frustrated groan falling from her lips. When his eyes landed back on the body of his beloved, he saw it.
The vision.
The glowing red orb around the man’s waist had dulled with his life, but now it was nearly glowing hot orange. In desperate confusion, he reached down, trying to remove it from the corpse. He was desperate, he needed it.
“Roland!” Came his sister’s voice again. He didn’t care.
He held it in his hand, a white-hot pain flowing through his entire arm. It spread to his entire body, but he didn’t care. He needed this. If not as a momento, than a solution for this mystery.
His sister didn’t cry out a fourth time, as he saw his body engulf in flames. The pain had gone, or at least numbed, but the flames were very much alive around him. He didn’t even put together what was happening, it was like his body moved on its own.
Roland rose to his feet and approached his weapon with a rage unlike anything he’d ever felt before. His sword in one hand, the red orb in the other, his gaze fell upon the giant structure that had felled his partner. “COME AT ME, YOU STUPID FUCK!”
When the large, glowing eye landed on him, he didn’t hesitate.

here are some bits about eleanore that i’ve managed to come up with!
name: eleanore (ella, el, ellie [hates that nickname])
- comes from fontaine and is in 19-22 (her age will depend on who i end up pairing her with)
- she is a runaway! i know fontaine is supposed to be based on france and when i think of france, i think of their historical aristocracy, so a lot of her story is based on the idea that fontaine runs the same way
- ella is from a noble family of vision wielders (almost all of them are healers and have dendro/hydro visions) who are high up in the aristocracy and are VERY loyal to the hydro archon
- ella did NOT enjoy high society life, but she did as she was told and followed her family’s transitions and the rule of the hydro archon
- she dreamed of being free to do and be what she wanted, but she wasn’t even sure what she wanted to do or who she wanted to be, since she was never given the choice
- corsets and fancy parties and people fussing over her was too constraining and it made her miserable, but she bore this all without a word, since that’s what she was supposed to do
- since this strictness was forced upon her from a young age, she finds it very difficult to indulge in her desires for freedom
- she escaped her home when she was 17 with one destination: mondstadt
- what better place to try and be as free as she could?
- unfortunately, she found it hard to get rid of her uptight nature... it was quite difficult for her to try and act as freely as she wanted when she’d spent her entire life never being able to make a decision of her own. she was still rather rigid and proper and she is a bit awkward sometimes, and gets embarrassed extremely easily
- thankfully, a certain tone-deaf bard comes along to help her with that!
- she does have a bit of wit and she’s quite charming (she had to learn how to woo potential suitors or something at those silly parties) she’s still very prim and proper though, nothing too scandalous (she’s outraged at some of the things kaeya has said to her at the angel’s share before. absolutely improper!)
- she doesn’t like the taste of alcohol so her and diluc spend quality time at angel’s share watching the drunks make fools of themselves (mostly venti and kaeya). ella also finds comfort in that diluc has been to fontaine and knows about her culture. she finds she can relax easily around him
- has a HUGE soft spot for kids. this is how she initially meets both jean and albedo! klee escaped solitary confinement and mother figure 1 and brother figure 1 come searching for her, only to find ella sitting in front of klee with lots of colorful clips and flowers in her hair
- ella quite literally bumped into sucrose while she was bringing tea for her, albedo, and timaeus. she spilled it all over ella’s dress and she felt terribly guilty and promised to create some sort of cleaner that would rid the dress of any stains! a few hours later, sucrose returned with the cleaner as promised
- mona and ella are roommates. enough said. (i think ella would be interested in her since she has a hydro vision and she’s also heard of mona from her astrological column in fontaine’s magazines. they bicker often, but ultimately get along quite well!)
- upon arrival in mondstadt, she introduces herself as ella (since word of the missing noble eleanore was being quickly spread through the seven nations) and the nickname el eventually arises (venti is the only one to call her ellie and she despises it)
i don’t plan on shipping ella and venti! i think they’ll be quite wonderful friends though, and venti will help ella find her free spirit inside her! lots of ella scolding venti for doing silly things and venti dragging her out to windrise to enjoy the meadow under his tree.
i can’t decide who to pair her with at the moment though... diluc, albedo, or kaeya... mona or sucrose !? ughhhh i think all of them could fit her well in one way or another? i came up with little headcanons of how they would be connected to one another briefly but kept it very vague since i can’t make decisions.
i also don’t really have a story about how she got her vision! i know i want her to be out of place within her family, so she has a cryo vision that is more geared towards battle instead of dendro and hydro visions which are more geared towards healing. i think she’s going to be a bow user, but if i change my mind to anything, it’ll maybe be a sword.
i can give some info about mai in a little bit if you want hehe. her stuff is more head canons and relationship bits. even tho i know her backstory, i haven’t written much of it out just yet.
- adeptus anon 💖
Woah!! Another beautifully written OC! I swear all these Fontaine OCs is getting me excited for the nation itself!! I really like the idea for her story! It's quite intriguing! I'm glad she gets to live in Mondstadt freely with her new friends 💕
Picking the right characters for an OC can be hard sometimes! Don't rush, take your time to think it through!! Random ideas just pop out out of nowhere sometimes! That happens to me a lot haha
Would love to see how she progresses definitely!! Keep up the great work! <33
