There is an orange tabby cat in my neighborhood —he is friendly yet elusive.

The first time I laid eyes on him, he came sprinting towards me, leaving his scent on my clothes. Caught me off guard because, you know, cats don't usually warm up to people that quickly.

The second time, I spotted it getting some affection from a girl. The moment he noticed me, he dashed over, tail acting like a scarf, wearing a playful expression. I can still hear the girl giggling and my reaction of 'could it get any cuter?'.

A few more encounters unfolded like that.

Then came the nearly heart attack moment. Picture this - I'm strolling to the office early in the morning, and as I hit a street, bam! The cat dives at my feet. Instinct kicked in, and I slammed the brakes, not sure what the heck was going on.

Turns out, it was the same cat, not just seeking attention but bold enough to hide behind an alley, waiting to give me the scare of my life. Luckily, I kept my balance, but it was a close call.

Not content with just that, the very same day, after a lengthy work grind, he pulled the same stunt. This time, it hid beneath a car, biding its time to pounce on me.

Hi

Today I’m going to a concert, it’s still -2 degrees outside. Then it will be warmer (I hope). Then we'll go to grandma's to celebrate all her birthdays.

And I also have some kind of art block again. I couldn't draw anything else besides these cats.

Less than 6 weeks of study left. After all the tests I don't know what to do next. I study well, no one bothers me, so it’s pretty easy for me

But I still want more positive marks on the thermometer and summer.
