Yesterday marked the four year anniversary of the release of MOTS:7 - so it’s been four years with Jimin’s masterpiece, Filter!

When the album dropped, Filter immediately began breaking records and was Jimin’s second song to cross 500,000 sales in the US.

Filter is also only one country away from an Apple Music all-kill, having charted at number one in 118 of the 119 possible charts (only the U.K. remains).

Revisiting Map of the Soul: 7

Originally, Map of the Soul was planned as another trilogy, in which the album Shadow and Ego would follow Persona. “We thought, ‘Why don’t we combine them into one album?’” Namjoon stated in an interview with Vogue in 2020, “Shadow means our wounds and Ego is about accepting our fate. So 7 is a very appropriate title since we've come back after seven months.”

Since then the number seven has become a powerful and almost faithful symbol for both the seven members of the group, and a symbol of belong for ARMYs. The emphasis of BTS as 7, has sparked a strong narrative about the group dynamic and what it means to be an ARMY.

With the Festa announcement in June of this year, our understanding of Map of the Soul is changing. It was supposed to be their last era before starting Chapter II, defined by solo promotions and enlistment. This changes the meaning and messages behind the album, as well as the surrounding promotion like Connect BTS and the online concert Mots ON:E.

Since this is my favorite album, I decided to start this series of revisiting Map of the Soul: 7. I will look into every song, as well as the performances and interviews.

Kurvitz stresses that Kim doesn't actually have a character sheet hidden in Disco Elysium's code. Imagining that Lieutenant Kitsuragi has only one natural attribute point in Motorics helps the ZA/UM team to understand the depth of his character beyond what's referenced in the game's dialogue. "We just came up with this stuff for coherency," says Kurvitz. "And because we're nerds."

"I like to think Kim has a Thought Cabinet project called Revolutionary Aerostatic Brigades that he's worked on since he was a teenager," Kurvitz says. "This raises the learning caps for his Reaction Speed and Interfacing."

Kim's high Volition skill makes him impervious to prying, Kurvitz says, as the detective can find out on occasions being met with Kim's brick-wall resolve. Kim often chastises these whims of the detective's, but will occasionally play along. The Lieutenant finds his new partner funny, says Kurvitz.

LOL you and like the 8 other people all asking the same thing aren't wrong. In 2020 when asked what they would bring to a deserted island, Jimin did say Jungkook as his answer. JKs answer was that he can't live without ARMY and he would be ARMYs knife/sword. Jimin went after him in the answer and said he would bring Jungkookie, because that's all he needs to feel comfortable

It was also discussed which member would be the most likely to survive on a desert island, the members all guessed Jungkook and ARMY had voted and JK had won the ARMY vote too. Lol and JK replied saying that he couldn't survive without ARMY. Jimin also stated during a different question that being with the members was the best relaxation method too. And there were so many giggles and laughter and fun happening here and some members trying to hide their hair color under hats lol
