I'd like to offer gorillaz fans (and Potential gorillaz fans) another resource that I've spent over a year creating and perfecting.

The Gorillaz !

This playlist is, to the best of my ability, Every Single piece of gorillaz content that can be found on youtube in story order.

all of the music videos, all of the indents, all of the interviews, animations, radio shows, news specials, podcasts, audio books, tiktoks, Everything.

on top of that ! I made the decision to include select fan content! because Frankly the gorillaz fandom is unimaginably talented and creative. this includes Fully animating several music videos that were cancelled, but given to us in animatic form, original animations, animatics, and storyboards, fan visualizers and recreations of live visuals, even voice fan dubs for written material like the interviews and novels.

and more than that, with the (incredible) fan content that was available I've Also been able to flesh out the stories of each phase! a decision I made due to the plastic beach, the third album, never getting to finish the story officially (leading to the band breaking up and coming back 7 years later).

I'm so proud of what I've been able to do with it ! and even happier to share the picture I've been able to make as a whole :>

if you were wondering why the art archive stopped at 2018, this would be why ! the kong files has much the same goal, but instead picking up at phase 6 and continuing on Theoretically forever ! or at least it's kept up with all of phase 7

that said ! the kong files is attempting to document Everything relating to those phases. so all of the social media, all of the music videos, all of the written text, Everything !

I wouldn't try to Only use this for watching phase 6 and 7, but it's an Excellent resource for everything that could fall between the cracks

Rise of the Ogre on Archive dot Com: [Link]

rise of the ogre was an official novel released at the end of demon days (the second album/phase 2), that covered the entire history of the band up until that point! their backstories, how they met each other, what they'd gotten up to in the 10 years they'd known each other, and the shocking event that happened at the very end of the phase and the band's reaction to it. all leading in to plastic beach, (arguably) the Most story heavy phase of them all.

as I understand it, this novel has been out of print for a very long time and is quite expensive to buy second hand. so ! it's been scanned and uploaded here to the archive! there's actually several more scans available in the gorillaz art archive, but this is the most recent (having been uploaded just earlier this year).

Dawn of the Ogre: [Link]

dawn of the ogre is the fanmade sequel to rise of the ogre, attempting to fill in the gaps of what happened at the end of phase 3, the 7 year gap, and up to the (then) newest point of canon.

this is, of course, unofficial. so this is essentially fancy fanfiction. But it's extremely well done fanfiction that happens to be novel length, attempting to emulate the style of the original novel, and is fully illustrated. along with being available completely for free!

I'd definitely give it a shot, if you're the type of person who's already read rise of the ogre

Hello again. I saw your reply and it's totally alright. I was thinking about the reactions of Vanitas and Noé when they see reader hurt. But the thing is that she is so good at hiding the fact that she is hurt that the boys don't notice till you collapse because of the loss of blood or they see the wound when she changes. I want to know how the boys will react if the reader almost dies. I want lots of comfort and to see how the boys take care of the reader. Would they freak out or will they be more calm? Would they go after the person who hurt them? P.S.- You don't need to make it a scenario if you don't like it and please make the reader female. (I am obsessed with Vanitas no Carte. I think you saw that already. But can you do this ask with Diluc, Xiao and Tighnari?) And thank you again for accepting my request. Again sorry for the long ask but I always like to explain more. He took his eyes off of you for just one second... and you just had to go out and get injured!

It was a messy fight. You had insisted on accompanying him and he only agreed because he thought it wouldn't be dangerous

well, apparently he thought wrong!

at some point, you got separated from him, and even though he knew that you were able to protect yourself, he couldn't help but worry about you!

you were different from him! Your body was fragile, he would never forgive himself if you got injured because he wasn't there to protect you

once he got to you, fighting his way through the masses of enemies, he saw you clutching your left side

he immediately paniced, running towards you, calling your name

however, when he arrived at your side, you simply smiled at him, reassuring him that you were fine

at first, he obviously didn't believe you, but when you got up from the ground with minimal effort, still smiling at him and standing proudly, well... what else could he do but believe your words

that being said, he still kept an eye on you the entire way back to the city, yet you never once gave the impression of being hurt

the more you guys walked and you continued to seem fine, the more relaxed he got. His heart began to slow down again and the anxiety slowly quelling down as well

but that was only until you suddenly collapse at his side

he barely manages to catch you so your head doesn't collide with the ground to hard. His breathing quickens again as panic settles back deep inside his bones

your unconscious, and seeing as you were otherwise fine, he decided to inspect your left side, the one you were clutching earlier

upon touching your shirt, he realised that it was entirely wet, drenched in your blood that now also dripped down his hands

he gulped before pushing the fabric up, revealing a big, open wound to him. You bled out of there this entire time, and only now when he looked back at your face did he realize how pale you've gotten

"You idiot!", he cursed as he picked you up and ran to the nearest city, seeing as he had no further material with him to treat such a big wound

the adrenalin was giving him the boost that he needed to get there as quickly as possible, the only thought in his head the entire time being "Please don't die on me.. please not again.."

a few days later, you woke up again, feeling disoriented. How did you get here? Where was 'here' in the first place?

You tried sitting up, feeling how dry your throat was, but a snip of two fingers against your forehead made you fall back onto the bed again

"Stay down, idiot!", Vanitas voice rang from beside you. He looked at you, relieved that you finally woke up again. You followed his request, yet asked him for a glass of water, which he agreed to get for you

you later found out that, while you were unconscious, Vanitas had stayed by your side this entire time until you've woken up again. He never went away longer than five minutes, not able to take the seperation from you for to long. He just had to make sure that you would make it... that you would survive.

after you were all healed again, he would scold you so much for being this reckless. Didn't you realize you could have died?

Makes you promise to never hide something like that from him ever again, or he would "Make you regret your choice", whatever that meant..

Oh, and for the person who did that to you? Don't you worry... he died on the spot...

Noé

Hiding something like that from Noé... you'd have to be a pretty fucking good actor to get away with that

not only because he's an attentive boyfriend and notices even slight chances in your behaviour due to mood or other things

but also because he's a vampire and can smell blood without issue. nothing can get by his nose!

with that being said.. under the "right" circumstances.. it's even possible for someone like him to miss injuries entirely. It doesn't usually happen, but it can

And today, it seemed, was one of those days

Your boyfriend has had a pretty hectic week. Vanitas had been dragging him around all over the place, and he was exhausted. Not just a bit tired, but thoroughly worn out. To the point that his attention span was now reduced to literal seconds

When he got home that day, he was done with the world. He wanted nothing more than to go to sleep, snuggled up to you

He threw all his stuff carelessly somewhere around, telling himself that he would deal with it in the morning. On his way to the bedroom he came past the bathroom where you were currently in

He greeted you as he walked by. Had it been any other day, he would have noticed the way you jumped around at his sudden words. Or the way your eyes held a tiny bit of panic

But as things were, he didn't catch on to that. Instead, he asked if you would join him in bed, then immediately turned around and kept walking

Seconds later, he collapsed on the bed, instantly falling alseep. He awoke briefly when you joined him, climbing into his arms to snuggle up to him, however he had no idea how much time has gone by since then. And truthfully, he didn't care right now

He remembers his arm tightening around you a bit before falling back asleep. It was a quiet, good nights rest

The next morning, when he woke up next to you, he had this... unpleasant feeling that something wasn't quite right. But since he couldn't place the feeling, he decided to ignore it for now, instead choosing to stay in bed with you a few more minutes

However, when he moved his arms a bit around you, his arm felt weird.. like something had.. dried on top of it

He looked down and almost freaked out when he saw some dried and some fresh blood on his arm

He knew he himself wasn't injured, since he didn't feel any pain. But that would leave only one other option...

He looked down at you, your shirt slightly moved up your body from you moving around in your sleep, revealing to him the bandages wrapped around your entire abdomen, blood seeping out through them

He paniced, grabbing your shoulders and shaking you

You woke from that and he immediately bombarded you with thousands of questions

You tried reassuring him, telling him that since you had some knowledge on medicine, you didn't want to go to a hospital, wanting to treat it yourself

That however, will not fly with him. He picked you up then and there and brought you to the nearest ER, where you were properly taken care of

Thankfully, you didn't need to stay in there, being discharged again with just a couple of stitches, but you sure as hell gave Noé the biggest scare of his lifetime

Will scold you a bit, but will stop of you pout at him enough, telling him that you learned your lesson

Will also make you promise to never hide something like that again. Please, his poor heart wouldn't be able to take that...

I saw "Gege" was trending in the Jujutsu Kaisen tag on twt, wanted to check it out to see what people were complaining about and...I don't know why I even bother... Yes, I have my criticism with Gege's writing too (as you might have noticed), but in this case it was really all just "Gege is sucking Sukuna off/Sukuna is the main character now". That was the only joke I saw in the tag, barely any actual points made. I always thought that complaint was ridiculous, barely any better than "Fraudkuna". Especially after ch 254. Nothing about the current fight makes it seem like the heroes have absolutely no chance, we're just stretching the time until we get to the actual meat of the fight surrounding the central conflict of Yuuji, Sukuna and Megumi. I get the impression the only reason people think this way is because they assume every character who is currently off screen is dead or permanently out of commission and couldn't possibly show up again in the future.

Besides that, Kusakabe losing to Sukuna isn't Gege over-hyping Sukuna, it's what's to be expected. The setup was already treated like a joke last chapter. If anything Kusakabe was the one getting overhyped (which I think was the point of 70% of the chapter). He's the one getting fan favourite characters say from beyond their grave directly to the "camera" what a strong, kind, beautiful, handsome boy he is. It's not organic or natural either, this wouldn't even work in animation unless you want to constantly jump between quick action shots and half a minute of Mei Mei doing her Kusakabe Character Analysis. I don't think the bit landed for me personally, it went on a little too long in my opinion, but characters going out of their way to praise Kusakabe was very much intentional and much more heavy-handed than anything we got for Sukuna. In his case it was mostly just the observation that grade 1 sorcerers won't be able to do much against him and that assessment has been very consistent. I don't think even Mei Mei, Nanami and Gojo would've said Kusakabe could solo Sukuna. Obviously that's not gonna happen no matter how good he might be otherwise.

I think the problem is how the general progression of the Shinjuku fight is written, not that the protagonists are struggling to take Sukuna down. And also that the group has horrible timing. I don't find it believable that Yuuji, Maki, Choso, Ino, Miguel, Utahime, Ijichi and Gakuganji all just happened to not be around to help Kusakabe out. If Miguel had been a few seconds faster he could've helped Kusakabe hold out until the others arrive, thereby avoiding losing another player and giving Shoko even more work. But no, he had to wait his turn until Kusakabe has been crossed off the list of possible opponents for Sukuna to intervene. That's what makes it so ridiculous in my eyes. They are just passing down the baton between each other. It feels similar although not quite as bad as the kids patiently watching the live stream of Gojo's death before they decide to jump in.

The memes about Gege sucking Sukuna's dick are just so overdone at this point and don't even point towards a real issue. Also funny that they don't say that any time Gojo or some other character who is currently fighting Sukuna gets excessively praised.

Fighting and shit like grabbing a door handle are different. Her worry is that they'd need their motor skills in a fight, or in a retreat...Cait would gripe about helping them with anything if they ask, but she can respect someone who's useful when it matters.

Codsworth; Would offer a hand whenever they looked like they needed it, but otherwise wouldn't comment or acknowledge it. It would feel very improper. They've got things handled most of the time, and if they aren't in pain, he doesn't need to worry. Would consult wasteland doctors if he felt they were legit, get their opinion, but Codsworth isn't the type to micromanage.

Curie; Worried mama hen. Curie would hover and possibly overstep. She means well, but if you don't want help with something, and don't need it, someone insisting they help is very 🙃🙃🙃. This is the first time I've used emojis in a react, only because I cannot describe the emotion those ones convey. Anyway. Curie would look into motor skills disabilities/in general in hopes of finding a way to remedy their struggles, make things easier. Some people might appreciate it, others would feel really patronized.

Danse; Would send them to Cade every time they returned to the Prydwen, just to check up on things. Obviously can't so that post BB. Danse has probably seen this before as well, but since he'd be traveling with them, he'd see it more and in different ways. Small corridor and they can't walk straight? His power armor is huge and lacks agility. They're bumping into each other. This would be an exercise in spacial awareness for him.

Deacon; one of the more worried ones. They're both spies. They need to be sneaking. You need to be able to move straight, pick locks, quickly type on keyboards. He's pleasantly surprised to see that Sole is still good at what they do, but there's always a little part of him waiting for that Chekov's Gun to go off. Also tends to hover around them, especially in hostile areas.

Gage; Don't let anyone know they have this issue and Gage is fine. Raiders will sniff that kind of thing out and get dollar signs for eyes. Walk straight the best you can, or play it off as a personality eccentricity. Don't say shit, don't go for soda in public. Very confused how they beat the Gaunlet. Very confused how they have such a high kill count. Will only help them out if its time-sensitive.

Hancock; Takes him...so long to notice. Not because he's high, he just fully doesn't realize it. He spends time around alcoholics and chemheads. Like Cait, that's just...normal for him? Hancock will offer help with some things, and still not notice what kind of help he's actually providing. He'll realize out of the blue one day and barge into the room asking if they have problems, just to make sure he's right.

MacCready; As long as he's the sniper, there's no reason to worry. If they start eyeing scopes to add to their guns, he might sweat a little. If they're a pickpocket type, he's just sweating. Pickpocket, sweating bullets. This would turn MacCready off crime, watching them try to sneak whatever from someone's pocket, when just three minutes ago, they had to bite their bag's zipper. Leave the precision stuff to him. Please. Please for the love of god.

Nick; Look at either of his hands. He probably doesn't have such great motor skills there, either, purely because he's just so old and banged up. This is a major source of bonding. Nick is the least likely to have any worry or concern for them; he gets around fine, so can they.

Preston; Second longest to notice. Faster than Hancock, but it still long enough for him to wonder if they were always like that, or if they're injured in some way. His concern comes before combat—they fight just fine, its the getting ready. Flicking their safety off, getting the gun out, reloading. Preston tends to go in front, so they have some time to prepare before they get into the action.

Piper; Like Preston, worries about transitional periods. Downtime, they're fine, firefight, they're fine. But those little moments in between, oooh, does Piper worry. Piper will keep count of how many bullets they use and let them know to reload, switch to something else, etc. Basically tracks all the info around, gets it to them so they have a few extra seconds to think and fiddle with whatever they have to.

X6-88; They are forbidden from heights. They are to remain at least ten feet away from more than a three-foot drop. Area too small? Understood, we're not going there, we're leaving. No, I don't care who asked for what. X6-88 hates heights as is. Someone pirouetteing their way off an edge is not happening. He truly does not care about anything else. Can't open things? Whatever. Bad with precision? Whatever. You can't walk straight, you are not going near ladders, bridges, scaffolding, cliffs, maybe even stairs if he thinks they're too tall.

the amount of knowledge in guns you need to have to weave that into the story is fascinating to me. I don’t even know what racking a gun is (I do however know a whole bunch about obscure physics theorems) anyway I just think it’s neat how far we go into research to write things that make sense

i'm still not sure if i got everything correct, but no one has told me otherwise fjkjsd you've definitely heard the sound of a shotgun racking if you've watched any movie with guns in it, it's that "ch-chuck" kinda sound. what i didn't know is that there's apparently a huge debate in the home defense gun community over whether you should keep your gun loaded and racked or just loaded (don't bother mentioning safeties, they'll call you slurs...). the true benefit of not racking the gun would be if a little kid gets a hold of it, they're not going to know how to rack it therefore even if they pulled the trigger they hopefully wouldn't be able to shoot anything (in MY opinion this is idiotic; the chance that the gun would go off anyway is never zero, especially if they've ever seen their parents shooting and decide to copy their movements, as kids love to do). then some people think you should wait to rack it until you know there's an intruder in your house because the mere sound of it will make them go "oh shit" and just leave. people on the other side of the argument think this is pointless and only serves to reveal your position (but uhhh fyi, in some states you're supposed to give them a verbal warning and/or try to escape before using deadly force anyway). and they say you shouldn't be owning a gun if you're not prepared to use it as anything other than a sound effect. plus i saw some people say that you need that 1 extra round in the chamber or you might run out, which.... most pump shotguns hold 3 - 5 rounds so.. it just seems excessive to me, i can't imagine shooting up to 5 times and missing all of them?? in that case dude i think you're just fucked and 1 extra try is not going to help you lmao

the time factor is the most compelling argument to me, obviously if you're asleep and you hear someone break in and enter your bedroom, your gun is useless unless it's ready to shoot right this second. but the chances of this happening are just so slim and you know what would be even more effective?? a home alarm system so no one can possibly make it to your bedroom without you knowing about it. i saw a lot of people say they keep a loaded shotgun under their bed for this scenario. i'm a paranoid fuck and i've always lived in areas with high crime rates so i get it, but that's why i keep a maglite next to me while i sleep so in the incredibly unlikely event that someone breaks in without me hearing it, i can you know. whack them. do i ever think i'll need to do that? no but it makes me feel safer than having a loaded and chambered gun with no safety on lmao that would make me feel incredibly UNsafe... also i don't want to make this too dark but while i was in high school i knew FIVE kids who died because of their parents guns, one way or another. that is just unacceptable to me. we also had a gun go off at school and even though no one was hurt, that was one of the most traumatic experiences of my life because obviously in the moment we all heard a gunshot and thought it was an intentional school shooting. so anyway, me and guns do not get along but it's fascinating to research

1.Excluding murder, what is the worst thing your OC has ever done?

Objectively... working for Arasaka, probably? xD Which is pretty vague as an answer, but neither before nor after he contributed to things as fucked up as what Arasaka does. Now, he obviously didn't personally deliver illegal guns to war zones to stirr up conflicts so somewhere some rich people could benefit from the death and destruction and whatnot. He didn't come up with political schemes and ploys, he didn't have any personal grudges against anyone he worked against. He was a tiny cogwheel in a huge machinery with seemingly little impact and say, but I think that makes how bad this all was even worse. He turned a blind eye to what exactly he was supporting and doing, to the effects his actions had on other people, because as an otherwise very empathetic person he wouldn't have been able to continue working there. And in the grand scheme of things he really enjoyed his job, the data analysis, the scheming, the planning, the euphoria when something worked out exactly as it was supposed to, being a part of something bigger for the first time in his life. He definitely lost a bit of himself in the process, which led to him at some point betraying someone he deeply cared for - but in that moment he cared more for keeping the life he had built for himself.

Vince's darkest moment for him personally happened some time in early 2076. He's had dark moments before and very dark moments afterwards, usually dominated by despair and a sense of hopelessness. I mentioned above that his time at Arasaka changed him, and not for the better. Everything that happened there, who he was or pretended to be at that time, brought him to this moment here. He had to go against his most important conviction that he'd never before or after gone against: betraying a loved one for personal gain. To be fair, it wasn't only about gaining something, as the situation was complex and awful all around, but keeping his superiors', Jenkins', Arasaka's trust, keeping his position and status, was a deciding factor. He still occasionally has nightmares about it all, as a trigger was pulled that day and only he got out of the situation alive.

The Kind of Sad You Can’t Understand

Certain days I feel very deeply that I want to cry but I don’t know why.

For such a long time I lived with this kind of mood without being able to express it anywhere, not to anyone. I was struggling for my sanity; I was constantly thinking of destroying myself; and I was hoping someone would see me, and rush to save me. But nobody ever saw that of me.

I was a badass. I was a cool girl. I seemed to everybody else a smart, talented, expensive girl who's got all her shit together. Even on days she wasn't all that together, she had an enviable life anyway. I appeared on the outside too glamorous for anybody to even imagine that on the inside I was rotting. I was this close to being dead, all the time.

Who in their simple-mindedness would've thought a girl like that could be so macabre all the time? And that’s how I experienced an entire life witnessing people’s lack of empathy. I guess my point of view was fragmented but that was how life was for me anyway. Ironically, some intuitive peeps who were able to see the macabre in me thought I was frightening more than anything HAHAHAH That was all the same in the end. Enough with the gossips. I don’t know what normal people expect from everybody else they meet, to be honest. I don’t know what I’d expected from them either.

I guess it’s because the society I grew up in was like that that I couldn’t bring myself to show anybody my distress. Trauma. Mental illness. Disordered personality. All of that was nothing but insanity. And insane people don’t belong in society.

So simple. Yet so cruel.

That’s fucking twisted.

In a society brimming with nothing but pretenders, we meet and chit and chat and act like all of our troubles are manageable to say the least. ‘Yeah, it’s not that bad, to be honest.' But it was; you've just got to pose real strong otherwise people think you're a loser. 'I guess I’m OK.’ But you weren't; you've just got to really make it sound like you're still keeping it together. 'I'll be just fine.' But you wouldn't know; you didn't even know if you'd still wanna be alive tomorrow.

In the midst of all those meaningless exchanges, I hated quite nothing more than to hear, especially from men, how strong I was as a woman. I hated it like I'd never hated anything in my life.

It was suffocating to be seen as holding it together when you were literally breaking at the seams...

I wanted someone to be able to notice I was screaming on the inside. That I was gasping for air every second I was sitting there listening to their trivial chitter chatter. Who cares about your silly drama? Would you care for mine if you knew my life was on the line? And I hated those expectant eyes. All of them. Were they expecting me to share in their self-made woes and console them in the end? HAH. Go to hell, losers.

I always thought, none of MY problems were created by my own reckless behaviours that would've obviously hurt myself or others. Not in the beginning, at least. Unlike some idiots, I was never into drugs, one night stands, or even smoking; I never caused anybody any trouble. So why did everybody cause me trouble when all I wanted was just a peaceful, normal life? Shit, what even was my IDEA of a normal life? I can't remember now.

Certain days I feel very deeply that I want to cry but I don’t know why. There's always not enough reason to do so now. Haah... If it weren't for my abundance of Aquarius, which makes me incredibly lazy and antisocial, I'd have paraded around town and rallied to become a Neo Hitler and kill everybody in this rotten world. I hated this world so much.

The first ever PAC I put out here was ‘What’s Your Crazy?’ What ever was my reason for writing that? I was crazy and I needed some explanation.

I used to look like the girl in the third pic before I chopped all of my hair off everyone began to suspect I was gay. I wasn’t gay; I was depressed. Those unassuming idiots.

you're walking down the street, hand in hand with chan while the boys are being themselves and howling with laughter. you were returning from the group movie night after all. rubbing your eyes softly, you let out a small yawn which doesn't go unnoticed by chan. "is my baby sleepy now?" he asks to which you nod your head. it had been a tiring week at work/school but you decided to end your friday night at the theatres with the gang nevertheless. you take chan by suprise by letting go of his grip and making grabby hands at him. unsure of what you want, chan pouts while in thought. suddenly, his steps come to a hault and he crouches down in front of you. "watchyu waitin for pretty? hop on." he says to you as a slight blush taints your cheeks at his actions. obliging nevertheless, you climb onto his back as he secures his arms around your thighs. jisung is obviously the first to notice as he yells about how grossly cute this is to which chan headbutts him. hyunjin is making a face of sheer disgust while I.N. smiles sweetly at the sight. embarassed, you bury your neck in chan's face. his scent and the darkness making it even more difficult to keep your eyes open.

jisung has had enough.

he makes minho bend over as he forces himself onto the older's back. after a shit ton of coaxing from jisung, he finds himself happily relaxed on minho's back. changbin hoists felix on his and hyunjin on seungmin. at the sight of I.N. pouting his lips, minho convinces the group that he'd done enough back exercises at the gym during the week and could easily take both jisung and I.N. to the dorms down the road. the members have no choice but to let him because once lee know's made up his mind, there's no stopping him.

during all the commotion, you've managed to fall asleep, content on chan's back. his ears perk up at the soft snores escaping your lips and a smile graces his face as he tightens his hold on you. continuing his walk down the street while the rest follow. chan thinks to himself, "i could get used to this."

after saying your goodbyes to the others, Chan would carry your tired body home. opening the door and gently placing you on your bed, careful not to wake you up - which you do once you realise you don't feel that familiar warmth anymore.

rubbing your eyes slowly, you look up at Chan, lids heavy with sleep as you pout. he coos softly, grabbing your make-up remover wipes. he'd gently wipe away your make-up, being ever so delicate in doing so.

you'd whine and pout, clinging onto the material of his t-shirt. once done with make-up, you'd complain about how you have to brush your teeth and take a night pee otherwise you wouldn't be able to aleep

“carry me.” you'd sleepily insist. Chan happily obliges, picking you up bridal style. he'd help you brush your teeth, giving you some privacy as you pee. in doing so, he'd gather your pjs, ready and waiting for you to finish so you can change.

dragging your tired body back to the bedroom, Chan would help you change into your pjs, tucking you into bed. a soft peck on the forehead and a gentle “goodnight.” would cause you to grab his wrist.

“stay.” you'd whisper. Chan's cheeks turning pink, aware of what you're asking of him.

“i-i don't have pjs..”

“you have underwear though.” your eyes fightening a losing battle with sleep, feeling heavier and heavier by the second. “stay Chan, don't leave me just yet.”

how could he say no to his sweet baby?

deciding to give in, he'd strip down to his underwear and climb into bed next to you. you'd automatically shuffle into his chest, his strong arms wrapping around you and holding you close to his warmth.

Ok so this is for @melbatron5000 and @somehow-a-human mostly because I want input on your theories and my forming theory. Also, @indigovigilance has some decent screen grabs too. Sorry for having a wall of text here, I'm on mobile and still not used to posting on Tumblr

I absolutely agree with something being passed to Aziraphale during their kiss. I have watched the scene several times now and can spot the thing myself. I can see it in the photos you guys have as well.

I also stand by my theory there's a body swap going on. I wasn't entirely sure when it happened, until probably tonight. I know not everyone agrees with me but right now that's fine. Whatever.

Nightingales is DEFINITELY a code word. Got that straight off, wouldn't be able to tell you 100% what exactly for, except to me maybe it's saying "we need to do the body swap again".

Here's the thing: I had to go back and watch the body swap in S1 before I felt confident in this. I will stand by this theory now because I'm pretty certain of it.

There's clearly missed signals and unsaid things. I think the conversation we see is not everything that was said, based on the camera angles, the fact that so many of those lines can easily be pulled for sound bites and not seem odd/off, and the fact that their actions when out of shot don't entirely match up to what's being said. But the gist of the conversation is the same. They eventually come to the understanding that something needs to happen and they're not going to like it.

Here's where I think things change.

Nightingales is the signal that there's a swap that needs to happen. Crowley has already told Aziraphale that he can't leave the bookshop. Crowley knows this, and he also knows that the only way to get to Heaven is by having an angel escort him there. Aziraphale on the other hand will have no problems going whenever he needs to. Crowley needs to be taken, so he needs his Azi-suit.

With Crowley-as-Aziraphale(CAA) in heaven, he'll be able to do whatever mischief he needs/wants to. He can clearly already access files up there still. We know he has to have been a powerful/higher up angel before his Fall. He just needs a way in first.

When did the body swap happen?

Good question, and it took me a lot of thinking and rewatching of that flipping kiss to finally decide and work out when it was; the moment Aziraphale "allows" himself to hold Crowley.

What am I on about? I'll tell you.

Rewatch the body swap in S1. They hold hands, time stops, and you see them change back. Obviously CAA and Aziraphale-as-Crowley (AAC) are sat in their usual spaces so the characters are in the wrong seats. Once they're back, they look normal. Everything is tickety-boo.

Except in the KISS, they're very much in the same positions. Of course, Aziraphale places his hands on Crowley briefly, allowing for stability, a time freeze, and the chance to switch round before resuming. Probably gives them a little time to confirm some stuff too. There's so many camera cuts and frame changes that allow for this to be true, otherwise why not just show it from one angle? And why is that dang clock also skipping time suddenly yes I know Neil may have said it's just a continuity error at one point but I don't trust him because he also lies and it's way too obvious with that clock in the background

So what about the bullet/metal ball in CAA mouth? Definitely Aziraphale's memories of his chat with Metatron, and anything else CAA may need. (This isn't a repeat, this is a mirror of the bullet catch. Crowley fired the bullet, Azi caught it. This time, Azi fires the bullet, Crowley catches it.) CAA then says the phrase he knows AAC will understand, and that also sounds like Azi to anyone listening, and AAC responds. Like codes. "I forgive you... Dont bother." Exit: Azi-as-Crowley.

Of course Metatron then swans in and interrupts CAA while he's still getting his bearings, and mentions the Second Coming. I don't think even Crowley expected it to be this. Hence the Look he gives AAC.

Metatron still gives CAA a slightly suspicious look in the elevator, which I don't think many people mention enough. And that whole end credits bit of them as they're heading off is just... Odd. BUT, and here's where I'm certain it's CAA, the look of sheer determined destruction on Azi's face is the same from S1 body swap. I went back and checked, just to be sure. That's 100% Crowley right there. And now he has the bullet in his mouth, access to heaven thanks to being escorted by Metatron, and Aziraphale still able to look after the bookshop in disguise.

Points I also want to make

Crowley would not be the sort of person (demon/being) to just stand there and wait for Azi to go up to Heaven. We've seen he'll just go off without a word. At least twice. (When Azi is in thought about Job, and when Nina talks to him after she confirms she'll be at the Street Traders meeting). Crowley doesn't linger.

Crowley would also not be the one to choose to listen to A Nightingale Sang. That is all Aziraphale babyyyyyy. The Bentley knows them both well enough by now. Crowley likes his rock and Bebop, Azi likes his classical, more soothing tunes. Crowley certainly wouldn't listen to a song if he was upset with it. Azi allows himself to hear it before turning it off. He's the sentimental one.

Hello I realize this isn't necessarily the platform so completely understand if you ignore this! Wondering if you can provide a brief overview of what's going on with the popular WT creators? I get mixed information and you seem to have a lot of knowledge. (Snailords, Mongie, RS, Ephemerys, Uruchan. I heard about the Snailords dog and fan blasting stuff and Ephemerys possibly being inappropriate with minor fans. Really hoping Uru hasn't done anything.)

I'm not really gonna ignore your question but I will address it sort of? Because like... I'm gonna go off on a tangent here so bear with me, but I think a lot of people see my analysis / "callout" posts here and assume that's what this blog is for, but like? Not really? Like I certainly do that here at times when it's something that's really eating at me and I have to get out of my system, I love analyzing works I used to enjoy or otherwise have strong feelings about (ex. I never liked Big Ethel Energy but I'm miffed that it exists at all so I can't resist talking about it lmao) and I'm obviously VERY verbose about it, but I draw the line with actively seeking out stuff that's controversial or ripe for criticism just for the sake of creating 'content'. I'm one person who started this blog to mostly talk about LO, I'm not a monolith or solid source on everything to do with Webtoons and there are other people talking about these things in far more detail than I could :' )

With that said, I'm aware of the Snailords situation because of how often it's been brought up in the /r/webtoons sub (and I used to read their work years ago, before they were on Webtoons), and when it comes to RS and Mongie, I'm simply a former fan of their comics and I didn't realize the problems with them until their series jumped the shark and I had a chance to go "wait a second-" so I have that degree of "investment" that fans have have which spurs me on to talk about (and criticize) their work. It doesn't occur in a bubble.

I have NO idea what's up with Ephemerys and Uruchan, like I deadass don't know who those people are so your guess is as good as mine ╮(￣ω￣;)╭ (I googled them after reading this though, I know their series and have heard great things about Purple Hyacinth and a lot of "meh" stuff about UnOrdinary) So you won't catch me talking about them here unless I genuinely decide to give them a try LOL (and I've said my peace about reading stuff just for the sake of criticizing it, I ain't about that, I want to make room for things that bring me joy, too <3) That said, if you search for these creators via reddit and communities like it, you'll undoubtedly find the info you're looking for ! (when I googled Uruchan it seems like most of people's issues with them is that UnOrdinary has gone down the tubes in terms of quality, nothing really controversial about Uruchan specifically though from what I can tell).

EDIT: upon further clarification from OP, there isn't in fact anything worth noting, so we're clearing up for the record now!

Literally outside of my hyperfixation on LO and other Webtoon-specific topics that fall into my lap through the run of a day (like whatever I see going on in the /r/webtoons sub and other webcomic communities), I'm still like, a normal person who isn't aware of every single thing going on and so I'm not gonna ever be able to cover every controversy and piece of gossip out there. I wouldn't want that, either, balance is crucial.

I do think it's sorta sweet though that people enjoy my takes on LO and comics like it so much that they want to hear my opinions on other works, especially ones that they have opinions on and want to hear my take. Idk, I think Kiba should've married a cat-girl or the blonde one from Kumo. Lee should be with someone that appreciates effort especially now that his effort is proven absolutely worthless -.- and is seen as a loser again which destroyed the poor guy. Well, I wouldn't have minded Tenten, but... GaaLee 👌👀? Aren't they both single fathers? Or? Idk. Maybe Sai Gaara and Lee together, why not. Except one of them is somewhat likable and it ain't Hinata. But age-wise that doesn't work. Or, maybe someone can make her a Mecha Naruto, that's a bit more appropriate. Not much, but still. I'm sure she has the money and I don't think she really minds because she knows Naruto as much as she'd know a robot version of him. I see no difference there. OR, Kankuro's puppet. That way she can always walk next to the one she 'loves' as it follows her anyway with some basic puppet training and have the sentimental wood around for comfort when she reminisces about the time she thought Naruto wasn't gay. No need to be shy either as it doesn't say much. Then Naruto can visit tree-Sasuke in peace without a creepy face glancing up at him from behind it only to be ignored anyway. 

Or maybe a lousy Daimyo because we can't have any less than a Hero or royalty for the princess, of course. CHOJI ACTUALLY should've married the daughter from the ramen stand. Idk her age though.. It first got going and had an immensely complex legal, military, religious, and cultural framework built to justify it, after the "discovery" of the Americas in 1492. Before that, kings and rulers obviously did kill and mistreat political enemies, sometimes in large numbers and for ideological purposes, but I wouldn't argue that it was done with the same overall aims (or indeed, sheer multi-level/multi-national complexity that requires modern infrastructure) as modern genocide. People sometimes try to argue that the crusades (1095-1291) were genocide, which I disagree with. The primary aim was the capture of territory, not the extermination of people and culture, and that designation obscures the complicated and reciprocal Christian-Muslim contacts, conflicts, and political/diplomatic relations that took place at all levels and involved substantial exchanges apart from just the battlefield. That is the "a bad thing can be bad without affixing every bad buzzword to it" fact that Tumblr often struggles with; the crusades were Bad and involved people of different beliefs killing each other, therefore they must be Genocide! However, war -- even religious war -- and outright genocide are two different things. You can condemn the crusades for what they were without also arbitrarily making them every other bad thing in history too.

This is why it always drives me crazy when people insist on describing every act of violence or seemingly indiscriminate killing/torture as "medieval." First, it separates out the "medieval" as a category which is somehow always inferior to modernity by its very nature, and second, it resists any realization that modernity has invented some things that are much worse than they were in the premodern era, simply because technology and the development of mass/industrialized murder became so much easier. There is nothing comparable to WWI, the Holocaust, and other mass-casualty events of the twentieth and twenty-first century, which we have become able to produce and rattle off at a scale simply unheard-of by medieval technological or geographical capability. I saw someone the other day describe the action of BOMBING A TRAIN STATION (in the Ukraine war) as "medieval." How, I ask you, is using a bomb (a modern weapon) to attack a train station (an institution not invented until the 19th century for a mode of transportation likewise that became current in the 19th century), in a modern war stemming from modern reasons, MEDIEVAL? It is just a catch-all term for "violence that we like to think ourselves too good to inflict, while ignoring all the violence we have endlessly inflicted, so we act like it has no place in this century, while using more and more of it in even more sophisticated ways."

Whenever I point this out, I usually get people crying that MEDIEVAL TIMES WERE BAD TOO!! as if I somehow don't know that, or otherwise trying to justify, partition away, or excuse the existence and targets of modern violence, because they're uncomfortable with examining its ultimate roots and justifications. When it comes to this fact, the modern world is not peaceful or pacifist or free of violence or morally superior to the medieval world in any way; indeed, if anything, it's become overwhelmingly reliant on the military-industrial complex (another thing that has no meaningful medieval analogue) to solve its problems. This isn't to say that no violence or war or murder existed in the medieval world, as it obviously did! That should not be controversial! But genocide, colonialism, imperialism, and other such wide-scale and deliberate destruction of people's ways of life, culture, language, political system, collective memory, etc, simply are not medieval phenomena. They are early modern, modern, AND postmodern. But because we are so used to lazily affixing "medieval" to every practice that is bad from a modern liberal perspective, we don't see that, understand it, or take steps to coherently confront it in our own up-to-the-minute systems, institutions, and leaders.

Regressor Rohan Kishibe Headcanons!

Wanted to write them down for a looong time and I finally did! Also set somewhere between diu and tskr??? Idk honestly

💚Rohan started regressing at 16, right after his manga got published. At first it was quite surprising (and embarassing) for him, he didn't know what was happening to him. Even after doing research about age regression he still wouldn't really tell anyone about his coping method - anyone who eventually found out did it by complete accident. Although currently only a few people know about his regression, they are all really supportive (Morioh is full of kiddos and you can't convince me otherwise lol)

💚His age range is 1-6 years old. He regresses mostly involuntarily, but sometimes he'll do it willingly just to relax a bit, usually after several hours of work. He has a special little corner in his studio in case of suddenly regressing - it has a soft blanket, some toys and pillows

💚He doesn't have a cg, but sometimes he lets others babysit him. Koichi is always eager to help Rohan after school (although Rohan usually won't ask because of his pride). They also have playdates together when they're both small

💚His other babysitter is Kyoka! She's very blunt when it comes to his regression, asking him if he's small at random moments. Sometimes she basically drags Rohan over to his baby corner when she sees he's overworking himself

💚Baby Rohan is a very creative kiddo. He loves coloring, drawing and finger painting. He has a big set of art supplies for children as he tends to be quite clumsy and usually makes a mess and/or breaks something - and that something won't be his luxurious overpriced pen!

💚He needs to be supervised while making art though, he gets so carried away that he starts drawing on walls, floors and even himself

💚If he's too tired to draw, he likes watching cartoons! He appreciates different artstyles and is the biggest "cartoons are not just for kids" believer. He especially likes mlp and ghibli movies

💚He has a lot of plush dolls and loves playing with them. He gets all kinds of tiny fashionable clothes for them and runs pretend fashion shows! Sometimes he even does tea parties (top secret!) (Josuke isn't invited.)

💚Rohan is way more sensitive when in baby headspace. He gets overwhelmed easily and usually doesn't even know what caused it. The best way to help him is to give him his comfort item (like a favourite toy) and let him cry it out! This dude need a good cry!

💚He's also suprisingly easily to spook... He may be a horror writer, but he's not immune to his own genre lol

💚His biggest fear are windows. He cannot sleep next to them or stand too close when he's small - it reminds him of that night with Reimi. All windows must be closed and babyproofed!

💚Rain is scary to him for the exact same reason (dripping noise...), soft music and his dolls usually helps him calm down during storms

💚He absolutely loves baths. Won't leave the bathtub for hours, has all kinds of fancy soaps, shampoos and bathbombs... and uses them mercilessly to create "potions" or do his "selfcare routine" which is just pouring random liquids all over himself. Also, bath crayons are obviously a hit with him, he'll use half a box per bath though

💚Soooo fussy about bedtime, he often has trouble relaxing enough to take a nap. He may throw a tantrum because he's actually too tired to fall asleep. When he's in baby headspace, the best solution is swaddling! Koichi unfortunately isn't able to help Rohan with that - he's a teenager, he can't swaddle properly, let's be honest - so they just cuddle when they are both small and fall asleep together, often with other Morioh littles too! Kyoka on the other hand did excessive research and is a swaddling pro, she can stop Rohan's sleep deprivation fit in seconds by wrapping him like a baby artist burrito

Excluding murder, what is the worst thing your OC has ever done?

Objectively... working for Arasaka, probably? xD Which is pretty vague as an answer, but neither before nor after he contributed to things as fucked up as what Arasaka does. Now, he obviously didn't personally deliver illegal guns to war zones to stirr up conflicts so somewhere some rich people could benefit from the death and destruction and whatnot. He didn't come up with political schemes and ploys, he didn't have any personal grudges against anyone he worked against. He was a tiny cogwheel in a huge machinery with seemingly little impact and say, but I think that makes how bad this all was even worse. He turned a blind eye to what exactly he was supporting and doing, to the effects his actions had on other people, because as an otherwise very empathetic person he wouldn't have been able to continue working there. And in the grand scheme of things he really enjoyed his job, the data analysis, the scheming, the planning, the euphoria when something worked out exactly as it was supposed to, being a part of something bigger for the first time in his life. He definitely lost a bit of himself in the process, which led to him at some point betraying someone he deeply cared for - but in that moment he cared more for keeping the life he had built for himself.

7. How far is your OC willing to go to get what they want?

That depends a bit on what he wants to get, I would say. He isn't someone to immediately jump to murder when the outcome for him is only material gain, for example. If it's a "you or me" kind of situation though, he has killed and would kill again if there's no other way out. A little bit of intimidation can go a long way already usually, and he's ruined lives of people before that he never even met in person.

I think the more interesting question isn't how far does he wanna go, but what does he want and how can he achieve it. Because Vince doesn't care that much for money or fame. He wants a reputation that makes him seem trustworthy and not someone you want to mess with. And from that he hopes to gain the power to do whatever he wants, live a good life, and know his friends safe and protected. All of this determines how far he is willing to go and what he is willing to do. He would not fuck over people that helped him get where he is, and he is loyal to a fault to his friends. The rest of the world can go fuck itself though xD

13. Who does your OC hate the most?

Johnny Silverhand, no doubt xD Not all the time, not in the end, but he never hated someone as fiercely as him for a while, especially in the beginning and especially after his bender - and especially because they aren't that different from each other in their personalities, and Vince hated that more than anything.

Not even his abusive mother comes close in terms of people he hated at some point, and Vince was more scared of her than truly hating her, but she's a close second.

In general though Vince doesn't hate easily or strongly, he doesn't hold grudges for long or at all.
