28. Do they get along with each other’s friends and family?

Lucifer: Sometimes Delphi gets along with his brothers a little better than he would like, but overall he loves how much they all love each other. And he makes a very good impression on her little brother Cody. They don't get the opportunity to spend much time together, but they do chat every now and then. And Cody is able to give Lucifer some excellent insights on their childhood and why she does some of the things she does.

Beel: He is absolutely thrilled that Delphi has fit so well into his family. He especially loves that she's so enamored with Belphie. When he meets Cody, even though there's almost a foot height difference, it's like they're the twins. They get on famously. Beel teaches Cody about fangol, and Cody gets Beel into fantasy football. They're honestly two peas in a pod.

30. What is their favorite place to kiss the other? (Cheek, hand, closed eyelid, neck, nose, etc.)

Lucifer: He loves to tease her with kisses to the nape of her neck, just below her earlobes, the tip of her nose, and the inside of her wrist, as well as on his pact mark on her throat, of course. Delphi loves to press a kiss to his temple when he's working, between his shoulder blades (where his wings connect in his demon form), his forehead (the diamond), and his fingertips.

Beel: Absolutely loves to pepper her stomach with kisses, also enjoys nibbling kisses to her neck. Other favorites include her eyelids, shoulders, and her inner thighs. Delphi loves to squish Beel's face between her hands and kiss him all over until they're both a giggling mess. She loves to kiss the top of his head when she's proud of him, and the tip of his nose, and she thoroughly enjoys kissing and biting down his chest.

31. What’s the relationship like? Smooth? Rocky?

Lucifer: Obviously it isn't all sunshine and rainbows. They have their growing pains at first, like any couple. And canon has some twists for them, but Delphi and Lucifer weather any and every storm together. Lucifer doesn't believe in soul mates because it would require a level of belief in predestination and fate and in his Father, and he just doesn't have it it him. But if he did, he'd say that this feisty little human, with her captivating smile and her absolute disdain for authority, her wild eyes and her loving heart, well she might just be his.

Beel: Delphi and Beel are so carefree in the way they love each other. They're like springtime, giggling and warm and fresh with possibilities. Whenever the two are together, things are easy and light. And when they float apart, it's with the knowledge that they're each there for the other whenever they need.

People don’t get to decide who or what they grieve for. Grief is not a voluntary response or choice that we make. We can grieve for all kinds of things that have nothing to do with traditional death—sometimes it’s the death of an idea, or the death of an opportunity. There’s nothing wrong or inherently unhealthy about grief, and as a irl death worker, I really resent people telling you that grieving something that matters to you, in any capacity, is unhealthy, or that you are viewing a character’s death too seriously.

Grief only becomes unhealthy when it interferes with your day to day life for a long period of time. And even then, it’s not the grief, but the inability to process that grief. Grief is not a dirty word or a dirty emotion, and it isn’t always about death the way that we think of it as the ending of a life. Sometimes it’s the symbolic “death” of something totally different that we have a reaction to.

I did not grieve the deaths of several of my family members but did grieve the loss of an actor and personal muse quite heavily. The loss of something and someone who was an important symbolic presence in my life was very hard, and it took me a long time to come around to the idea that it’s okay to feel loss over something other people might not understand.

Grief is a highly varied and complicated emotion that no two people process the same way, and it is not inherently a bad emotion. Grief is the acknowledgment that something has come to an end, be it an opportunity or a presence or even just the possibility of more stories. Grief isn’t always about death, and it isn’t unhealthy. I don’t think you were grieving Eddie as a life that ended, but as a story that ended, and a story that meant a lot to you.

Don’t let anyone tell you how to feel your emotions when those emotions are your own.

i have kept this ask in my inbox for weeks. partly because i was at a loss for words to be met with such kindness and understanding and every time i tried to think of a response i came up empty, and partly because i wanted to keep it to myself. i wanted to hold it as close to me as i could.

I feel like many people misunderstand us, the unhinged, insufferable people with OTPs so. Here's a quick guide into the mind of an rabid buddie shipper.

I'm not clinging to buddie because I fail to see how awesome Buck's bi growth is. I AM BI!!! You think I don't get how awesome this bi character, this story arc, this bi representation is? Get out. Don't tell me, a bisexual how I should watch and experience a bisexual character. I drive my own brain, thanks.

And I know that it's possible to multi-ship. You don't need to tell me that!!

People need to understand that multi-shipping isn't some grand, epic personality trait that always comes with maturity, that the people who don't multiship are just wee dumb babies.

I may sound like I'm 14. I am not. I am very much not. I'm OLD. So old. And guess what that means? I know myself!!! That's maturity, too. And who I am... Is someone who falls hard, and obsessively.

I know I am just not built to be a multi-shipper. I have tried, sometimes. I have tried so hard. And realised, that's just not me. Multi-shipping is never as fun, and interesting or rewarding to me as focusing on my One True Pair. It just makes me feel suffocated, to attempt to like something I don't really find much joy in.

That doesn't mean that I hate the actors or characters who are "getting in the way" of my ship. Nope. I actually often adore the characters and actors, and the writing. I can also see and appreciate what some other character means for my OTP's growth.

Like in this case... Lou, playing Tommy? Not only do I love his acting choices (so funny, so skilled) but he also, he sounds like a lovely guy. I'm a fan!! Also, damn he's fine, I need a bucket for my drool.

And Tommy, the character...? I think the character is interesting - and don't get me started on "problematic", the shaming is futile. I am all in for fucked up, problematic characters. If you don't get why, you should really read some literary classics. Fucked up, problematic characters are art, they make you think, they broaden world-views. My best educators have been the monsters, and I will take this stand to my grave.

Demand for "unproblematic" is demand for censure, and censure is just another form of oppression. Want characters without flaws? Go watch Teletubbies. Ffs, even moomins have flaws. (Of course they do, Tove Jansson was a freaking amazing writer.)

Anyway. The point here is.

I am a mono-shipper. And I love slowburns, I love the romance of them, I get attached to ships. And I'm queer.

But where are the queer slowburns? I have been waiting for a slow-burn queer romance for so long. I CRAVE IT. Getting that, truly, would be queer history, a revolution.

And I see the potential for it in buddie!! The spark, the history, the journey. It has the potential to be the greatest queer slow-burn I've ever experienced.

You think I'd just abandon a ship like that, a slowburn like that, for some fast food, cooked up in what... Two episodes? Pffft. I invest. I am waiting for my roast to cook.

So yeah. I'm not going anywhere. I will watch, and let my freak flag fly, and I will have the time of my life. If buddie never becomes canon? Well so what. I can deal. It's not my first rodeo. His digits moved smoothly across the keyboard. It was that split klik when he looked up, it all went downhill.

Usually, Soundwave worked alone, focusing on his ideas. Either in silence or accompanied by the music he loved so much. But just that solar-cycle, Rodimus asked to join him. So he agreed. Obviously.

Yet, there was something peculiar about this, right at the back of his processors. Rodimus was quiet. Barely any move, barely a peep. Someone usually so full of life, then still, reading through a new speech he had given him before. Soundwave had never seen him that thoughtful and… Strangely, there was beauty within it.

Though, it must’ve been enough of a puzzlement for Rodimus too, as he looked up. When their optics met, Soundwave decided to cave in, “Is something wrong?”

“Haha, nothing’s wrong by your side!” Startled, Rodimus answered. “Just… Just wanted to focus on work for once. Like you always do.”

Soundwave hummed underneath his vocoder, “Thank you. But I do feel rather strange with you not talking.”

“You want me to talk? Cause oh man, be careful what you wish for, just ask Cyclonus, she… She can word things pretty bluntly,” he joked around. Obviously no matter what, she still cared for Rodimus.

“I don’t mind it. I like your voice,” he reassured him, voice steady as it could ever be.

To which Rodimus smiled. As a gentle rock ballad played from Soundwave’s speakers, he could hear the lyrics being repeated by Rodimus. That was when his confession from before finally came together.

Was Rodimus trying to impress him? Soundwave wasn’t sure. Simply, he scooted closer, their shoulders brushing against each other.

If it was the truth, though… Then it wouldn’t be a surprise why suddenly warmth spread all across from Soundwave’s spark.

She was very professional about it and held onto her chest with one hand as she danced. However, Hyunjin, once he noticed, quickly put his jacket on her to cover her and she quickly buttoned it between dance moves so she could go back to focusing on giving the best performance she possibly could. Although the public was a bit disappointed as this was Evie’s first ever wardrobe malfunction, which happened at something that Evie was looking forward to, they also were pleasantly surprised by how professional and fast acting they were to fix something like that. Evie said she had asked the stylist for a jacket specifically because she didn’t trust the top but they refused and so Evie felt like the stylist was sabotaging her and sabotaging the performance to stir drama. Since then Evie has refused to wear any outfits from that specific stylist and has said that she truly doesn’t care for that stylist's opinion anymore and doesn’t care if she gets fired. Skz also refuse to be styled by that particular stylist and it's rumored that she did in fact get fired after this instance as it wasn't the first time she has willingly dressed Evie semi scandalously. After this Evie was given a lot more control of her outfits.

Ship meme - LaCroix/Nines, ofc.

Oh man a ship that is a blast from the past!

Makes sense and compels me (I mean it would have to if I was going to ship them with Ming Xiao in a poly relationship! XD)

But yeah, while they don't have a lot moments in canon together what they did have and how they talk about each other really gives a nice spark of an idea of a tasty enemies to lovers ship. LaCroix and Nines contrast each other so well, their strengths are what the other wants but to have them they would have to be willing to admit things about themselves they don't want to.

To be loved as Nines is, LaCroix would have to admit that the Camarilla way isn't the best way to lead an city, he has to be kinder and braver to be the kind of Prince LA needs. To really make LA something Nines would have to be willing to be ambitious and maybe a little more selfish as LaCroix is to see that the Anarchs need a leader to really bring them all together and he has to be willing to take the plunge.

But they also see each other's weakeness in turn reflects their fears, Nines sees LaCroix's selfishness and fears ever becoming like him if he chose to be a leader. LaCroix see Nines' unwillingness to take more of what he's 'owed' and rejection of the Camarilla's rules as a weakness and despite his issues with the Camarilla he clearly fears the unknown should he ever break away from the sect.

They are repulsed by each other and yet drawn together that's how I see their relationship, they want to see how the other has the nerve to live as they do.

LaCroix and Nines have the potential make each other better or make each other worse but either way LA and LaCroix and Nines would never be the same after their coupling.

I really love how fandom plays around with this ship, and honestly I'm surprised that I was still able to sort of wax poetically about it too, they still mean a lot to me.

So yeah OTP but with Ming Xiao OT3 cause oh man when you add her to the mix... XD

anyway thank you for the ask on this ship it was fun reflecting on it again, it was kind of nostalgic.

It was quite the challenge to find some matching scenes and I even think that Gary plays James even more stoic than playing Kurt haha ( VERY HARD to find a laughing James in Mercy Street, even Agnes laughed more in TGA😂)

OH! SO EXCITED TO TALK ABOUT THIS! Thanks for asking.

First, Jonerys will always be my OTP. Yeah, the show ended like a burning pile of dog turds, but in fan fiction they're living happily ever after as they should have. The one good thing is that Kit's show is not going to be made which means they will not be able to profit off Daenerys Death anymore than the already do. Kit, find you another franchise where you can swing a sword. I'll watch it. I sat through Pompeii I can do anything.

Second, I love KANTHONY!!! I mean, the PINING! THE UST! LOVE IT! All the glances and touches and the "You are the bane of my existence and the object of my every desire" yes, sir! PLEASE. Love them. So glad we get to see them happy and in love this season. Just a boon, for sure.

Third, POLIN! Ok, hang on, let me get this out of the way first because it is a huge concern to me. I do not, under any circumstances, want to see Eloise join in with Cressida to make fun of Penelope. I get it, she's hurt, but please don't let her do that because she knows all of the sensitive points about Penelope, not even counting Lady Whistledown. She knows the things she's sensitive about and stands to truly hurt her. I had my former best friend do that to me and I wouldn't wish it on anyone. Though, Nicola and Luke were both adamant about their love for Eloise. So, here's hoping.

POLIN - Alright, I'm going to say what I'm sure many other people are thinking -- Colin needs to grovel in apology for what he said. It's already difficult enough for Pen, with her introverted nature, to meet and talk to people. That has been clearly established. But to then have an influential man in the ton declare that he would never dream of courting her? I mean, talk about ruining a girl's chances all around.

There are little things throughout the trailer that fascinate me. One being that I think Penelope isn't going to arrive to one of the balls with her family but fake an illness and stay home. Perhaps after seeing Eloise with Cressida at a garden party earlier that day. Something sparks within her and causes her to no longer lie there, but throw open her wardrobe and we see her getting dressed. We do see Pen see them walk away together. So, I think she comes in late, dressed in a different gown, with a different look. Perhaps she asked Madam Delacroix to make it for her outside of her mother's knowledge. Because we see her standing at the top of a staircase in a red cape and then dramatically allowing it to fall to the ground. Everyone turns and looks. (My favorite thing, is if you look at the crowd, her brother-in-law, Mr. Finch is smiling at her - such a sweet, cheese loving boy!). But Cressida and Eloise look shook. Also, in this same scene we do see Francesca and Pen later talking. This is important to me as it is said in the books, Colin is very close with Franny, especially once he starts traveling and she moves to Scotland. Lady Danbury is obviously speaking with the Queen about the possible matches that could be made. So far, all the writings we've seen about this season show that Mister Dankworth is interested in marriage, but instead of being along the lines of Nigel Berbrook, he's more along the lines of Prince Friedrich. You might root for him if Colin wasn't already in the picture. I have a feeling that while his interest will spark jealousy in Colin, it will also spark confidence in Penelope. Which, judging by some of these awkward convos we see her having with some of the other men of the ton, she really needs. But the sight of them dancing beneath the moonlight in the ballroom, and their heads close together over a book, and Colin having to sit back and watch as a bystander, is too sweet for me to take. Colin is the sort you have to hit over the head and drag him to it. Someone else finding her desirable could spark that wait, what have I missed. We love our leading man, but baby are you dense. The scene where he's sitting back and the flame slowly lights, it's like Colin's love for Penelope. It doesn't happen all at once, but as it grows and glows it gets brighter. Their trope is she falls first, but he falls harder. And in the books, that 100% true. He's my wife this, my wife that. Once he realizes that he's in love with her, there is nothing else that matters to him BUT her.

but the fundamental principles behind my interest in all three are the same: that the harry potter series prioritises love-as-suffering-and-sacrifice and ignores how much each of these men would appreciate the value of love-as-comfort; that "i would stop killing for you" and "i would live for you" relationship dynamics are just as delicious [if not more so] as "i would kill for you" and "i would die for you" ones; that there is not a soul on earth incapable of redemption; and that there is not a soul on earth unworthy of giving and receiving love.
