Okay! Welcome May! I have a lot of working out to do this month!

I kicked my goals butt last month but it’s time to step things up a notch again.

Yesterday was super fun and packed with activities!

I took nel out to the field and we ran and played until she was exhausted, we then walked a half mile up to the house again, then I went to the outlet mall with my brother and we laughed until we cried together and that really filled my heart with joy then we met up with family for pizza dinner and then back to my place I went and did 45 or so minutes of yoga before heading to bed.

Oh also Starbucks gave me the wrong coffee but it was still very enjoyable, just not what I had wanted haha!

Unlikeliest of encounters, Myrtle Beach version

As it so happened, Huckleberry Hound got the idea of spending some time at one of the outlet malls down here in Myrtle Beach on an otherwise slow winter's weekend. With yours truly, even, trying to avoid unnecessary and frivolous shopping unlikely to have any practical implications when all is said and done.

Which, on a Saturday afternoon, came to include something of an unlikely surprise visitor to the same outlet mall, the sort unlikely to travel incognito for reasons obvious: As in The Banana Splits "themselves," whose last recorded presence was as guest performers at the now-closed Hard Rock Park theme park here on the Grand Strand. Not to mention walkabout types, as I understand it.

"Now I wonder myself how they'd get here anyway," Huckleberry mused while we rested near a block of tacky outlet stores--at least until the gorilla-orangutan hybrid, Bingo, pulled off a double take such as drove them to our presence.

And I have to admit, were we stunned, surprised even, to see no less than Bingo, Drooper, Fleegle and Snorky back together, notwithstanding that rather awful horror-film treatment they were in.

"So what brought you back to The Grand Strand?" asked I.

To which Fleegle was quick to remark, "Hardly anything in particular."

"Except, maybe," Drooper chimed in, "just a random trip with nowhere in particular in mind. Just to clear our minds of that rather tasteless film."

"'Tasteless' ain't the half of it!" was how Bingo responded.

Which, at any event, was bound to be enough to dispense with the outlet mall and instead go for someplace more obvious--the Gay Dolphin Gift Cove, close to the Boardwalk. And perhaps a Grand Strand institution right there of long standing. And to imagine the Splits posing alongside kitschy statues/props of Elvis and Bigfoot as much as the racks of tacky souvenir T-shirts having "walking billboard" potential made you wonder how the tourists would react to the sight, imagining return of The Banana Splits, even, after such an awful horror film so featuring!

"Just makes you wonder," Huckleberry responded as we repaired to a modest little Low Country seafood house in a back alley off Ocean Boulevard, the main drag of Myrtle Beach, for a "see food" buffet (as Drooper depicted it) tending to crab as much as Southern specialities galore. With a dessert bar featuring typically Southern staples like chess pie, pecan pie and warm peach cobbler--the original dump cake, you might say, having learned somewhere that to "cobble up" means to put together quickly.

But particularly surprising to us was where Snorky, as interpreted by Drooper, had a surprise waiting for us in store ... which, know, will be revealed next time around.

Weekend treat: go shopping at an outlet mall to see what's new and consider purchasing designer fashion someday in the future!

Graduated from university this month, I started to consider changing my wardrobe for the sake of getting more mature and caring about things from my items to the earth with the responsibility. In my school days, I gradually found it really beautiful to purchase items which are high in quality and last a lifetime and cherish what I've got for good by treating nicely and repairing, thanks to some lifestyle vlogs on Youtube.

Then, I have been planning and wondering what/how many I should buy for the rest of my life, with regard to clothing. I have referred to one of my favorite magazines named Fudge, whose taste in fashion is exactly my ideal, so first I listed up some of the fashion brands that the magazine is fond of.

Mom drove me to this outlet mall in Kisarazu, Chiba prefecture, all the way. Behind the mall, there is actually an amusement park which has a ferris wheel seen from the parking areas of the mall. Therefore, I took her there with my curiosity, but we ended up not riding any due to lack of cash at that moment. Nevertheless, I didn't feel disappointed at that; On the contrary, I was being satisfied that I could see a ferris wheel for the first time in ages.

Afterwards, we headed over to the outlet mall and looked around the shops one by one, even luxury brands. I won't make a purchase of such items not only because I can't afford to but also because they never suit me. However, I love seeing flashy（in a good way）, unique and occasional clothes, because it feels like I'm looking at art.

As she's liked shopping as well as window-shopping since I was a child, she was pleased that I finally got interested in slow fashion and designer fashion. I took to MARNI, LOEWE, Chloé, Mulberry, and STELLA McCARTNEY through this outing. I enjoyed myself at Fred Perry, Paul Smith, Vivienne Westwood, Marimekko, which mom doesn't like somehow, Lacoste, and agnès b., as well. For the near future, I will work hard and earn money to fulfill my longing myself.

life's not been good lately. ive been beset by a cacophony of Ails (constant fatigue and exhaustion to the point of being bedridden for most of the day, constant nausea, headaches, shoulder (???) aches, skin rashes (why???? ;-;), irritability, did i mention the exhaustion....) but im like 99% sure it's all just caused by stress so theres rlly nothing much i can do but wait til life gets Less Stressful.

still, it's heavily debilitating. like, here is list of things overwhelming me to tears just this morning

eating breakfast (it's so hard. it's so hard to eat. i know i must, but it's so difficult)

drinking water (it makes me wanna throw up for some reason)

noises and sounds (the house phone rang awhile ago and my heart rate kicked up so panicked as if i was being chased by an axe murderer. my sister spoke to me awhile ago and i wanted to burst into tears because even verbal conversation feels like an insurmountable task rn)

notifs from Everywhere (discord, here, my work grp chats, twitter, my tumblr inbox oh god im so sorry about my inbox so many asks are piling up and im not ignoring you guys i promise im just gonna break down if i try to even read what you guys are sending in)

standing (it makes me lightheaded and dizzy and makes me wanna throw up) (sidenote: wow a lot of things make me wanna throw up these days JS;FKDNS;DKF)
