Making a list of foods in Frontiers so I can think about maybe trying to make fake recipes for them later. Smacking it below a cut for everyone's sanity.

Sweetened Niktsyey: A niktsyey that will quench a sweet tooth with its dark nectar and fruits. (Fine swamp hive nectar/fine shelter fruit)

Novao's Niktsyey: A light meal with fruity tones. Ideal for a scout or gatherer who spends their day on the move. (Superior pod fruit/superior feather blade seed)

Novao's Mushroom Pie: Chewy mushrooms and crunchy seeds, well-seasoned and enjoyed by many in the Zeswa clan. (Superior cloud spitter seed/superior vineshroom)

Steamed Stormglider Bun: A soft bun filled with juicy meats, steamed to perfection. Rumor has it So'lek is quite fond of this dish. (Fine whipfang crawler fatty meat/fine stormglider lean meat)

Okul's Bake: The hearty flavors of meat and mushroom have a surprising subtlety to them. (Superior banquet mushroom/superior echo stalker lean meat)

Nutty Pastry: The crunchy seeds mix perfectly with the sweetness from the nectar while maintaining an earthy undertone. (Fine eyethorn seed/fine stagfly ant nectar)

Fresh Fish Soup: Fresh fish and generous chunks of mushroom make for a universally enjoyed and healthy soup. (Fine buoyfish/fine radar mushrooms)

Kxan'epe: A peculiar yet emboldening kxan'epe. The result of Okul's uncurbed experimentation. (Also described by various characters as "a challenging drink" with conflicting yet fascinating flavors.) (Superior sage mushroom/superior stagfly ant nectar)

Revitalizing porridge: An exploration of blaze fruit, soft and sweet from being cooked in nectar. (Fine blaze fruit/fine forest nectar comb)

Bladehead grain soup: The thick soup - rich with rugged chunks of steaming bladehead meat - is given a nice texture by the seeds. (Fine bladehead fatty meat/fine feather blade seed)

Thanator brisket soup: A soup with thick, gamy cuts of thanator brisket. The broth is well-rounded with bits of meer deer meat in it. (Boulderlands thanator lean meat/fine meer deer fatty meat)

Relun's meaty soup: A soup made from various cuts of fatty meat. The broth is quite intense, yet enjoyed by many Aranahe. (Superior scarab crawler fatty meat/superior hexapede fatty meat)

Bitter fruit pie: For all the sugar of the fruit, the combination comes out bitter, yet it does have its fans. (Superior yoten egg/superior shell fruit)

Relun's fruity tea: A fragrantly fruity tea that gently tickles the nostrils and brings a warmth that spreads throughout the body. (Superior fortune's fruit/superior forest nectar)

Sweet fish pie: A sweet dish filled to the brink with slices of fruit and delicate cuts of fish that almost melt on the tongue. (Fine blaze fruit/fine mudcrawler fish)

Cheesy Sähena: With cheese and herbs filling the dough buns that are steamed to perfection this is a dish to remember. (Fine zakru milk/fine fiery herbs)

Spices + fruit = slimy fruit spice bowl: The fruits reacted unexpectedly with the herbs, losing their consistency and becoming a slimy, caustic mess. Spices + spices = scorching spice bowl: The aromas are wonderful but the taste is anything but. It's dry, hard to swallow, and burns the throat.

Egg-based

Steak egg fry: A stacked dish featuring eggs topped with a rich, juicy steak. Chopped fish egg fry: An egg fry with juicy fish chunks that bring a savory contrast to the fluffiness of the eggs. Fruity egg fry: Lightly-baked fruits contrast pleasantly with the savory egg in this colorful egg fry. Crunchy egg fry: The baked seeds bring a crunchy texture to an otherwise deliciously soft egg fry. Sweet egg fry: The amount of nectar used was just about enough to caramelize the egg fry. Extravaganza egg fry: When one egg fry won't do, just stack two on top of each other! Meat strip egg fry: A savory egg fry with strips of protein-rich meat that'll keep you going. Spiced egg fry: A fluff of spiced egg fry that just melts in your mouth while its flavors linger pleasantly. Creamy egg fry: Infused with creamy milk, this egg fry is a fluffy delight.

Egg + mushroom: Moldy egg fry: The fungus and the egg, instead of coming together in the oven, disagreed. The resulting dish tastes moldy at best.

Nectar-based

Glazed fruits: Chunks of hard sweets with fruit pieces. The floral undertones of the nectar lend depth to the fruity flavors. Glazed mushroom: Nectar-preserved mushroom. The texture is curiously chewy but quite pleasant, as is the taste. Glazed spices: A large nectar comb infused with a mix of herbs. The spiciness cuts through the sweetness, bringing heat to this snack. Glazed fish: Seared fish coated in a thick, sweet nectar sauce. The sweetness brings a whole new dimension to the flavor of the fish. Glazed egg: A cooked egg coated in nectar and then fried. The sweetness mixed with the savory works a treat. Glazed bright nectar comb: Hard chunks of crystalline nectar. The floral undertones lighten the otherwise heavy sweet dish. Glazed seeds: Chunks of hard sweets with seeds. The nutty flavor of the seeds yields gently to the floral undertones of the nectar. Glazed sweets: Hard chunks of caramel that start out brittle in the mouth before gradually turning chewy.

Nectar + lean meat = glazed lump: The meat is lost, drowned in nectar. The flavor is cloying, the texture sticky, and it fights you all the way down. Nectar + fatty meat = glazed mass: Too much nectar, too much heat, for far too long. The result is an unidentifiable, disturbingly stretchy mass.

Milk-based

Meat strips and cheese: A large, baked cheese with strips of lean meat on the inside. Herb-infused cheese: The herbal seasoning infuses this cheese with an enticing aroma and gives it a distinctive flavor. Fruity cheese: The cheese balls have small pieces of fresh fruit inside, making an otherwise heavy dish lighter. Eggy cheese: Baked cheese with a side of fried egg for a protein-rich meal. Smells delicious. Steak and cheese: Baked cheese balls with chopped steak. A rich combination. Tangy cheese: The fungal spores grew in the milk, creating a pleasantly earthy and tangy cheese. Crunchy cheese: The coating of crunchy seeds creates a delightful contrast to the soft and mellow cheese. Delectable cheese: A cheese connoisseur's dream. The heat has melted the cheeses to stringy perfection, their flavors mingled.

Cheese + fish = over-salted cheese: The ingredients combined to make a clotted brine of sorts, resulting in a dish that is unappetizing in almost every way. Cheese + nectar = The nectar caused the milk to congeal in an unfavorable way, resulting in a sticky goo that smells a bit rotten.

Nut-based

Sweet stir-fry: A stir-fry covered in nectar and slowly roasted to sweet, savory, crunchy perfection. Meat slice stir-fry: The meat is given nutty undertones by the seeds in this savory stir-fry. Mushroom stir-fry: A rich stir-fry mixed with minced mushrooms. Smooth and flavorful. Crunchy stir-fry: A large portion of nutrient-dense seeds stir-fried to perfection. Fruity stir-fry: The fruit juices have infused the stir-fry and made it sweet and slightly sticky. Fish stir-fry: A basic but delicious combination of fish and seeds that no Na'vi will turn down. Chunky meat stir-fry: The seeds have been fried in the fat from the roughly cut meat chunks. Salty, crunchy, delicious. Egg stir-fry: Covered in a delicious, savory egg-wash, the stir-fry has a pleasing, nutty richness to itself. Creamy stir-fry: Given a healthy dose of milk, this is a creamy and satisfying dish.

Seeds + spices = throat-burning stir-fry: An ambitious idea gone terribly wrong. Has more potential as some manner of weapon than a dish.

Fatty meat-based

Egg-washed roast: This protein-rich egg-washed meat roast will leave you ready to take on the whole world. Meat and mushroom roast: The saltiness of the meat combines with the umami of the mushrooms, the two elevating each other to a symphony of flavors. Meat roast: A hearty meat roast, infused with spiced leaves. (Fatty meat + lean meat) Meat and fruit roast: A roast with a side of steamed fruits that give the dish a sweet edge. Meat and fish roast: A portion of meat roast with a side of high-fat fish that will sate the hungriest warrior. Herb-infused roast: A meat roast infused with intriguing herbs and spices. A dish to contemplate. Sweet meat roast: A decadant meat roast with a plentiful nectar glazing. Crunchy meat roast: A side of popped seeds gives an exciting texture on this roast. Rich meat roast: A rich meat roast with veins of marbled fat running through it.

Fatty meat + milk = greasy roast: The sauce didn't mix properly due to all the fat from the ingredients. The result is a greasy slop that sits heavy in the belly.

Mushroom-based:

Fish-stuffed mushroom: Fatty fish fills the natural bowl formed by a large mushroom, the flavors creating a pleasing union. Fruit-stuffed mushroom: The savory mushroom and the sweet fruit compote compliment each other perfectly. Meat-stuffed mushroom: A huge, juicy mushroom stuffed with lean meat. Just breathing in the aroma feels nourishing. Glazed mushroom: A large mushroom glazed with nectar. The dish just about gives off an enticing, amber glow. Spice-stuffed mushroom: A huge mushroom seasoned with with a rich blend of herbs and spices, giving it a steaklike flavor. Egg-stuffed mushroom: A veritable omelet within a huge mushroom. The insides are steamed well and the texture is nice and spongy. Roast-stuffed mushroom: A great mushroom filled with fatty meat. The edges seem crunchy and well-seasoned. Stuffed mushroom: Mushroom stuffed with mushroom, this umami-loaded delight is for the true fungi enthusiast. Cheese-stuffed mushroom: Stuffed with fresh, creamy cheese, the huge mushroom has a mouth-watering aroma.

Mushroom + seeds: Acrid mushroom: The mushroom and the seeds disagreed with each other causing an unexpected, acidic reaction.

Pandora’s Punch !

Punch is the origin for modern cocktails and is considered to be the earliest cocktail dating to 1632. Widely used as a restorative, punch helped sailors survive long voyages due to the citrus which protected from scurvy. As trade expanded, rarefied ingredients were incorporated into punch.

This recipe pays homage to the history and creativity of the early punch recipes and celebrates the ritual of sharing a drink with loved ones around the holidays. This recipe serves 8 – 10 and features refreshing cucumber with a snap of ginger on the finish.

Ingredients:

1 cup lemon juice

1 cup simple syrup

10 oz Rasasvada Ruby Artemisia

10 oz Rasasvada Rose Bergamot

1 oz Gin or spirit of choice

Top with ginger beer

Garnish with seasonal fruits and herbs

Method: Mix all ingredients in a large punch bowl, serve over ice in individual glasses and garnish with mint, cucumber, and citrus of choice.

In contrast to the gloomy and mysterious world of Heather, Pticenoga and Vaughn’s AU is pretty cheerful and full of nonsense. This is the world of Borderlands, and therefore it is reckless, sometimes dark, but nevertheless very alive. The tone of the art with them, respectively, differs from the tone of the art with Heather. And, since this is an AU (means alternative universe), some moments from the canonical Borderlands were changed. For example, the third Borderlands game and everything related to it doesn’t exist here. Also I should remind you that Pticenoga is my OC way from 2011 and she had nothing to do with the game originally, and I created the Borderlands AU for her several years later.

In this universe, Pticenoga (or Hedwig, or Yadwiga - that's her name; Pticenoga is more like a nickname) is a "messed up" siren who, even before her birth, was influenced by natural Eridium, and as a result her "siren power" went out of control. Normal sirens sometimes have "magical wings" - Hedwig was born straight up looking like a bird, with all the accompanying pros and cons. Shade, her adoptive father, found it pretty amusing and liked it a lot, but most of the other people weren’t that impressed. And, given the fact that the closest bird to her would be a vulture, her behavior did not contribute to her popularity in society. But time passed, she grew up - and Hedwig learned to more or less control her siren powers and she could transform into an ordinary woman. But in this form she loses all the advantages of Pticenoga: she cannot fly, loses her strength and endurance, loses resistance to fire damage, and so on. But she can merge with the crowd now, if it’s necessary. All in all, Hedwig is a woman with a bit of bells and whistles... After all, this is the world of Borderlands. For example, she can smear herself with rotten corpses to use the stench as a weapon. Or in the heat of a battle, she can bite off an enemy's finger, devour it, and ask for more. But in a sense, this craziness is partially the reason why her relationship with Vaughn was developed.

A portion of passion, a portion of humor and a pinch of trash with raw meat - it’s pretty much the recipe for the pairing between Pticenoga and Vaughn. He is a former corporate accountant learning to survive on the wild planet of Pandora; she is a bit of a deranged, "wild" siren, ready to protect her loved ones and punch enemies in the face (not always successful, but nonetheless). After arriving on Pandora, Vaughn discovered his love for crazy stuff and was happy to occasionally let loose his suppressed aggressive side - and Pticenoga is happy to help him with this. But sometimes she is also happy to "calm down" and feel normal, and Vaughn doesn't mind showing her that side of life. Of course, their shenanigans do not always end well, and the "loser" side of Vaughn didn't go anywhere, just like Hedwig's instability. But they are ready to support each other, no matter what. Even if this support sometimes takes strange forms (for example, Vaughn can gather corpses for her if necessary...). Or, as a bonus, Pticenoga can sometimes troll Vaughn a little. But he does not mind; he answers her the same way… when he can. --- Also, I was messing around with GBA sims thing and you can see the result in the end xD --- Almost all interactions are based on me & my husband’s shenanigans The engagement ring was also Borderlands themed

I'm tired of people reblogging posts like this without checking their sources. There are some obvious red flags here. For starters, op claims they've witnessed the main cell personally, but if you actually check the prison's rules, visits have been banned for several months now [x]. The prison is armed with state of the art security measures, including lava, barriers, and numerous manual searches, to name just a few [x]. Speaking as an authority on the prison myself [x], I can safely confirm that these security measures, as well as the prisoner, are in perfect condition. Don't be so quick to buy into conspiracy theories.

“Just pet him for two seconds. He’s super sweet, I promise!” You assure a shifty Neteyam as his tail swishes behind him, his back leaned against the wall of your reserved section in the lab and his eyes glued to the moving ball of fur a few feet away from him.

“Why… Why does it look like that?” He mumbles with a slight squint of his eyes, the small grimace on his face indicating his displeasure as he watches your cat groom itself. He’s stood off to the side, arms folded across his chest, distanced demeanor matching his continuous refusal of getting any closer to the strange animal he’s never seen before.

Your jaw drops as you fake being offended and you lightly shove his arm, eyes rolling when you lean down to stroke your cat’s head, scratching under his chin and smiling when he purrs.

“What do you mean why does he look like that? You and him are basically cousins, the only difference is you don’t have fur and whiskers.”

A scoff sounds from above you almost instantly.

“Me and that thing are not cousins. I harbor way too much decorum to lick my ass and call it a bath.”

Since it’s clear Neteyam won’t move any closer, you gently pick Loki up and set him back down at Neteyam’s feet, so he can get a whiff of his scent. Your cat has always been friendly with others and loves attention, so your brows instantly furrow when you watch Loki’s ears pin back against his head, and as if he could understand what Neteyam had just said, his back arches, hair standing up off his body and he hisses up at the Na’vi male, followed by a loud, drawn out guttural meow you’ve never once heard him make at any of the scientists who he’s met. Neteyam’s eyes go wide and he immediately jumps to the side, tail standing straight behind him in alert.

“Loki!” You gasp, shocked at his unusual reaction.

“See, I told you he wouldn’t like me!” Neteyam gestures down at your fluffed up feline, only for his own ears to fall back against his braids when he mimics your cat’s behavior and hisses right back at the small creature, as if he couldn’t control himself.

“Don’t hiss at him!” You scold your 8-foot tall boyfriend, swatting at his leg while you’re crouched down to try and soothe an agitated Loki.

“He did it first!“

For a split second it’d completely slipped your mind that while Neteyam is an alien with very obvious feline attributes, introducing two cats to each other like this is pretty much always a recipe for disaster.

i love drawing pandora. like a lot. especially in my medieval au bc i fill her outfits with easter eggs!

for example, the first time she meets james she’s wearing round circle earrings that (according to wikipedia lmao) represent the sun in astrology, and i fill her arms with drawings of cool stuff she finds around the forest, so look out for them in my next drawings!

And we’re back! Not a lot of compliments for February but still a few so hope this will still be a fun read for you guys 😊

So let’s get into it!

February 2024

Is This Video Offensive?

So in this Flashback they reacted to the classic Molester Moon sketch 🌚 We only got one little compliment in this video but I thought I would still include it :-

They’re introducing the video dressed as moons and give each other a fist bump and saying how they’re ‘ordinary guys’.

Ian: “Anyway, um,” *turns to Anthony* “You look good.”

Another little moment I wanted to include which I just found silly :-

[talking about the pandora’s boxes that were opened with the creation of certain emojis]

Anthony: “The peach emoji…”

Ian: “Yeah, yeah, for real.”

Anthony: “The eggplant emoji.”

Ian: “Or do you think the creator was like, ‘let’s make it look a little bit like an ass’.”

Anthony: [laughs] “It’s a little bit like a huge, purple dong.”

Ian: “Dong.”

Anthony: “Yeah, I don’t know, honestly, it makes me wonder if they did know because it’s too perfectly ass-shaped. Right? I feel like it’s more ass-shaped than a peach. Peaches are not that perfectly ass-shaped.”

Ian: “I don’t know, bro.”

Anthony: “You seen some pretty good looking peaches?”

Ian: “I’ve seen some pretty tantalising peaches in my day.”

Anthony: [swallows] “Oh yeah? Do you want me to call you by my name?”

Ian: [in a low voice] “I could eat a peach for hours.”

What’s Wrong With This Soup? (Culinary Crimes)

So the boys went on Courtney’s new show and it did not disappoint with giving us some complimentary bestie moments :-

Courtney: “So the theme of this episode is foods that are vegan, gluten free, with some other twists as well.”

Ian: “So a lot of nuts, I presume.”

Anthony: “Besties with testes.”

Ian: “We are besties with testes, so.”

Silly but still quite cute, can never resist them calling each other besties even when it involves testes 😅

[First recipe they are given is soup]

Ian: “I have recently became a soup boy.”

Anthony: “Yeah.”

Courtney: “You have become a soup boy. That’s why I put you on this case.”

Ian: “Oh, is that right? Yes.”

Anthony: “I have been a good soup boy’s assistant.”

Ian: “Yeah.”

Anthony: “Ian invited me over. I was a little assistant, we made some soup.”

Ian: “We made soup together.”

Anthony: “It was really good.”

WHAT?! THEY MADE SOUP TOGETHER! IAN INVITED HIM OVER AND THEY MADE SOUP TOGETHER!!! ANTHONY WAS HIS SOUP ASSISTANT!!! 😭…. Sorry, screaming over. But that is the cutest thing ever! So after the whole moment in January where Ian dashed many of our fantasies of them making soup together, it ended up actually happening and I am one happy girl knowing it did 😊

Making Of “Would You Push This Button?”

So the BTS of the Would You Push This Button? sketch provided us with a couple moments :-

Not a compliment or anything but you know, gotta include the high-fives.

Now this other moment is complimentary but the dialogue isn’t that important so I’m just going to give a run down of what is happening :-

[Anthony filming Ian sitting recording voice audio that no longer is getting used for the main video. Ian rambles on about how only members get to hear it and how we’re getting it for free, but not really free cause we paid for membership, and how this audio was originally meant to be used as a Shut Up! intro but it wasn’t that funny, all while Ian is saying this you can hear Anthony laughing behind the camera]

Just another example of the fact that Ian is the funniest person to Anthony ☺️

Would You Push This Button? & MrBeast Copycat Watch Party

Of course to go along with the Would You Push This Button? sketch we also got the watch party livestream, along with them reacting to the previous sketch MrBeast Copycats Have Gone Too Far that they had missed.

[Earlier in the video Ian guesses that Apollo 17 was the last time humans set foot on the moon]

Ian: [reads chat comment] “Oh, I was right with Apollo 17.”

Anthony: “Damn! How did you know Apollo 17?”

Ian: “Just a good guess, I guess.”

Wee compliment from Anthony 😊

Chat comment: ‘What’s the latest soup Ian’s learned to make?’

Ian: “The last one that I learned to make was the African Peanut Stew.”

Anthony: “Oh yeah, that one sounds so good.”

Ian: “So good.”

Anthony: “I was like is that shit vegan?”

Ian: “It was so good- yeah, yeah, it’s vegan.”

Anthony: “Yeah, we got to make that one. We got to make that one next.”

Ian: “I think my honesty can be harsh. I think- actually I can’t be wild.”

Anthony: “You’ve been wild.”

Ian: “I am a drama queen.”

Anthony: “When are you a drama queen?”

Ian: “I feel like I can be a catty little bitch sometimes.”

Anthony: “But that’s not a drama queen.”

Ian: “Like I love drama. Like whenever I hear that there’s a problem I’m like [rubs hands together] ‘alright, let’s go’.”

Anthony: “Yeah, but I feel like drama queens are also like in the drama.”

Erin: “He’s a little dramatic.”

Anthony: “Is he in the drama though?”

Erin: “I would say so.”

Ian: [laughs]

Anthony: “I feel like he observes it and talks about it.”

Ian: “Sometimes I can be the drama. No, I don’t think I’m- I love hearing other people’s drama…”

Anthony: “Yeah.”

Ian: “But I feel like sometimes my honesty can be harsh.”

Anthony: “Sure, sure.”

Ian: “Sometimes I, you know, like sometimes there’s things that just don’t need to be said.”

Anthony: [laughs] “And you used to have no filter.”

Ian: “Sometimes I say it, I think I’ve gotten a little bit better, where I’ll be like, ‘I- never mind’.”

Anthony: “Yeah, yeah. I accept you for it.”

Ian: “Okay.”

Anthony: “I’ve grown to accept it. I used to be very sensitive.”

Love how this started off as something silly but turned into a genuine compliment by the end of it.

[Ian gets Jade as his answer]

Ian: [reading answer description] “…bold and thinks outside of the box or just someone who’s wild at heart.”

Anthony: “I could see wild at heart.”

Just a little mini compliment from Anthony there

Anthony: [reads chat comment and laughs] “Why is Ian on such a high from getting Jade over Anthony getting Jade?” [Anthony really wanted Jade as his answer as the crew said that’s who he was like]

Ian: Umm, I just didn’t think I was cool, man.”

Anthony: “Dude, you’re cool, Ian.” [pats chest] “You gotta have a little confidence, man.”

A double compliment from Anthony in this little section, you love to see it!

Anthony: “Yeah, that one was good. Your Mr Beast character, you fucking killed it, man. And going into the horror mode at the end [of the video] was great.”

It’s been a very heavy Anthony complimenting Ian livestream as you can probably tell 😅 not that I’m complaining!

Anthony: “Yeah, it looks really good.”

We do know Anthony loves Ian’s blue eyes 😉

Making Of “Grimace: Where Is He Now?”

The BTS of the Grimace: Where Is He Now? sketch gave us a couple little moments, not necessarily compliments, but wanted to include them nonetheless :-

First was this moment where Ian and Anthony are looking at each other through a door covered with fake police tape and they reach through and touch each other’s hands.

(As usual sorry for the terrible gif quality, I tried 🫣)

But yeah, thought this was cute so wanted to make it part of this post 😊

And the other moment I wanted to include was as they were doing the outro to the video :-

Anthony: “Why do we need a fog machine when we have…”

[both Ian and Anthony blow out of their mouths so you can see their breath in the cold air]

Ian: “Wow, I don’t know if that looked cool on camera but…”

Anthony: “Felt cool.”

And then of course, gotta include one of their signature moves…

There’s A Werewolf Among Us…

So the boys joined in on this Games video along with Courtney, Arasha, Spencer, Chanse and Trevor where they played Werewolf, in which one person is the werewolf and they have kill off other players without being discovered.

[Arasha brings up how she used to play it when it was called Mafia and the others joke around saying that it’s no longer called that because it’s offensive to Italian-Americans]

Courtney: “Angela actually held up a sign in the front of the building, she was like - ‘Please stop’.”

Ian: “Yeah, she picketed us.”

Anthony: “She’s on strike for the day.”

Ian: [laughs] “She’s on strike.”

Love when the shoe is on the other foot and it’s Ian finding Anthony funny, always very cute ☺️

[Everyone saying they think it’s Ian]

Chanse: “I was gonna say, I think I thought it was Anthony, but I’ve changed my mind.”

Ian: “Well, I mean, I would say I trust you two [Anthony and Chanse] ‘cause you didn’t immediately just go along with it. If you were the werewolf you would have immediately just motioned to vote because you’re like, yeah, let’s kill another villager.”

Trevor: “Or maybe they’re trying to hide it…”

Ian: “No.”

Trevor: “Because they already had someone second it. So why would they jump immediately?”

Ian: “Right, but they would need to be to jump in.”

Anthony: “Or maybe there’s no information to even go off of in the first round.”

Chanse: “I nominate Ian.”

Trevor: “Yeah. Vote time?”

Spencer: “Unfortunately, Ian.”

Ian: “All right, I’m just…”

Spencer: “You have made your case.”

Ian: “Okay, all right.”

Spencer: “And it’s vote time.”

Ian: “I think Anthony’s safe. I don’t trust anyone else.”

It’s sweet how Ian says Anthony’s the only one he trusts here as everyone besides Anthony is saying they think Ian is the werewolf. It’s also doubly sweet when you think about the fact that Anthony actually was the werewolf this round and yet, he was the only one Ian trusted 🥺

Anthony: “Why are you giving werewolf tips?”

Courtney: “She’s plugging all the holes.”

Ian: [puts hands up] “I am nominating Arasha [as the werewolf].”

Anthony: [puts hand up] “I am nominating Arasha as well.”

I love when they just follow what each other’s doing 😌

[Anthony’s character dies]

Trevor: [going to raise his hand but backing down and everyone asking what he was going to say] “I just wanted to do it again. I was gonna do it again, where I just make a blatant accusation for no reason.”

Courtney: “It is good, though, for the plot.”

Chanse: “It starts shit.”

Trevor: [puts hand up] “All right, I think it’s Ian.”

Courtney: “The werewolf?”

Trevor: “Yeah.”

Spencer: “All right, does anyone wanna second that?”

Ian: “I think that’s a terrible decision.”

Trevor: “No, not necessarily nominating, I just would like to, you know, cast some doubt upon his character.”

Spencer: “Gosh darn.”

Courtney: “Yeah.” [points at Ian] “You like wolves!”

Ian: “I don’t like wolves.”

Trevor: “You would kill Anthony.”

Ian: [makes a sad/unhappy face]

Trevor: “You would. You hater.”

Ian: “What do you mean I would kill Anthony?”

Trevor: “You’re trying to, like oh, I would never kill my best friend. Oooh.”

Ian: “I never-”

Chanse: “He’s trying to start shit.”

Courtney: [laughing]

Trevor: “See? See? Ian’s like, ooh, they won’t think it’s me because I would never kill my best friend.”

Ian: “This guy talks too much.”

Anthony: [laughs]

Loved this moment, especially how not happy Ian was with the accusation that he would kill Anthony, even in a game. And of course can never resist when it’s brought up that they’re best friends. Also loved how Anthony didn’t say anything and only laughed at what Ian said - the bestie-ism was shining through! 👯‍♂️

saw someone say we don’t talk about evan rosier enough so here are some of my thoughts/headcanons bc he’s always on my mind

that boy sleeps like the dead and he gives you murder eyes if you wake him up

he’s quieter in group settings and will murmur funny things to barty only for barty to repeat the same thing louder and everyone laughs and thinks he’s the funny one

he’s the friend who listens to you as you tell a story even if everyone else has stopped paying attention

he giggles a lot when he’s drunk and it’s really endearing

he’s effortlessly cool. like he’ll throw on the most ridiculous outfit combination bc he hasn’t done laundry in a week but his friends would think it’s this new fashion trend and they try to replicate it themselves (they can never pull it off like evan can)

he wears glasses/contacts. his glasses are always dirty and smudged and pandora will steal them off of his face to clean them bc he never does

he protects his alone time. if he’s feeling overwhelmed one day, he’ll bail last minute on the plans he had with friends and just sit alone in his room happily and listen to music

he’s a lyrics over melody guy (which also plays into how cool he is) he’ll stumble upon new artists on spotify and listen to their entire discography to understand the meaning of every song. his playlists go hard but also may lead to questioning your existence

he’s a really good cook because he’s patient and enjoys the routine/challenge of making something, but he doesn’t do it very often. it’s usually random recipes he wants to try, or he’ll make a nice home cooked meal for barty. otherwise, it’s frozen meals or take out all the time

like regulus, he has the biggest RBF. everyone thinks he hates them when they first meet him, but (unlike with regulus) they’re *usually* wrong (some exceptions ofc)

they opened up pandoras box by introducing cheese and tomatoes in totk. a huge chunk of italian dishes should be possible but they’re NOT. i need chicken parm and spaghetti with marinara sauce.

poultry parmesan should be easy too just: Raw Bird Drumstick/Thigh/Whole Bird + Tabantha Wheat + Hylian Tomato + Hateno Cheese. just makes pizza though. the recipes are all way too similar to the existing pizza dish (Tabantha Wheat + Hylian Tomato + Hateno Cheese). what if you wanted pasta with marinara sauce and shredded cheese on it. same ingredients

oh fuck they need to introduce garlic. whatever just stambulb i guess. stambulb + hylian tomato should make marinara sauce. i’ll have to try it. edit: no it just makes steamed tomatoes

uhh that said you CAN deep fry chicken now. any poultry item + oil jar (you can purchase at the shop in rito village)

24 Prompts til Christmas: Day 4

“Christmas Cookies” (Pandalily)

Pandora reaches over and gently grabs the bag of sugar from Lily’s hand. “Wait, that’s too much! Lils, the recipe calls for one cup… were you just eyeballing it?”

Lily shrugs. “Baking can’t be that much different than making a potion, can it?”

The blonde sighs, shaking her head, though a smile is still on her face. “What ever will I do with you, Miss Evans?”

"Whatever you desire.” Lily winks playfully before letting out a laugh. Pandora joins in, too.

“You’re something else, really.” Pandora looks back at the recipe. “Okay, you pour in half a teaspoon of vanilla extract and I’ll pour in 2 tablespoons of cream.”

They do just that, even if Lily spills the vanilla extract everywhere and they spend at least ten minutes cleaning it up.

“How are you so good at baking?” Lily asks as she whisks the mixture, looking at the other woman.

Pandora hums and a smile forms on her face again as if she’s looking back on a memory. “Ev and I used to bake all the time. It started off as just something to do to pass time and kind of escape reality, but then we started to actually enjoy it.” She pauses. “Don’t tell Ev that I told you, though.”

“I’d never.”

Lily puts her hands on her hips as she stares smugly at the bowl of icing. “It looks perfect. I’m basically a professional, now.”

“It looks perfect, but does it taste perfect?” Pandora dips a finger into the bowl and puts it in her mouth. She nods approvingly at her friend. “Tastes perfect, too.”

A smear of icing is on her bottom lip and Lily must be staring for too long, because Pandora raises a curious brow. “What?”

“Dora, you have a little something right there.”

“Where?”

he's super in love with watching sunsets with you. ever since you guys started dating, he has always been sneaking a lil pic of you next to the beautifully colored sky, and little does he know, you do too. well, occasionally so.

cleans up everywhere when you're stil asleep. and cooks the most drool worthy breakfast ever its like ur in a mf hotel i swear. he takes care of your things like its his, sometimes you wake up to him reading a book you finished recently whilst drinking a hot cup of coffee on the couch. "hey, i heard you finished this. nothing bad happens in the end right?"

spoils you but spoils you like how a normal boyfriend would spoil his lover AND how a dad would spoil his daughter. one day he could be buying you a pandora necklace and the next could be him coming home with bags filled with matching pajamas and a fairy costume set for ages 3 and up. random slow dances at noon. with the curtains closed and a big lamp being your only source of light. its so comfortable and calming. your head laying on his shoulder as his hand stays there on your waist. both your hands intertwined as you get lost in the music playing from his phone. everything becomes quiet and suddenly its just the both of you in the world. you can only see him and he can only see you. nothing is on his mind, just you. and vice versa. you find yourself just standing there together until your legs cant handle it anymore. it always end with a nap or even a dinner date. who knows, he just loves being with his angel.

showering together, only if you're both comfortable with it ofcourse. by this i don't mean it in a sexual way like at all. he feels like its his duty to wash and scrub your hair wish the perfect amount of shampoo, and you like rub soap on each others back ㅠㅠ. then afterwards he's blow drying your hair while your taking cute little mirror selfies or putting on skincare together. this is one of the times joshua feels content. he feels more than happy when he's with you right now in moments like this. he adores it when you do his hair too. he gives you little pecks and kisses all over your face as soon as your done. (ok im gonna go cry now)

loves cooking for you. he secretly took cooking classes when you guys first started dating and now he's a five star michelin (ehe). everything in him is so curious and excited for your reaction everytime he cooks a new dish. you can find him constantly looking for new recipes for you to try. expect your stomach to never have issues ever again due to his godly cooking skills. you seriously don't know how he does it, but you let it slide as long as you're getting fed. he's super satisfied when he sees you full and tired from all the food he gave you. he always reminds you to always drink water afterwards and not to move around much. and let me confirm, he definitely has the 'kiss the chef' apron. and obviously you do kiss the chef! always. ♡

Cake doesn't ask silly questions, cake understands

Pairing: Poly!Recoms x Human!Reader

A/N: I changed the plot al little bit, since I couldn't think of a good reason as to why a dessert baker would be on Pandora. I hope you like it!

Being sent to another planet isn't always easy as there isn't much to do outside of work. I mean sure, there's a bar on the base, but since it's mainly frequented by men who don't know when to shut up, you steer clear of it.

Other than that, there isn't much to do on the base in your spare time. And it's not like you can go off base, not on a planet where everything is three times the size of humans and probably wants to kill you.

So, you've had to find a hobby for yourself. You tried drawing, but all your work looked like it was done by a four-year-old. You tried to read, but after a few minutes the letters started to float, giving you a headache. You tried yoga, but you didn't have the patience for it and you couldn't sit still. Your partners went crazy with your own restlessness, but unfortunately they couldn't think of anything else either.

You were hanging out with your partners in their designated quarters. That sometimes proves to be a challenge, since they are Recoms, which means that they themselves, and everything in their rooms, are three times as big as you are. It is already a challenge to get on the seat of the sofa. Your partners have helpfully offered to lift you or arrange a small ladder for you, you have cut off all their suggestions with a look that makes a thanator quiver.

After a few minutes of struggling, while your partners watched in amusement, you finally managed to get on the couch. You fall dramatically between Walker and Prager. Walker chuckles as you rest your head on her thigh. "What's up babe?" she asks, putting down her data pad. "I'm so bored," you complain. "Maybe you should try reading a book," Prager suggests, not looking up from his own book, pulling your legs into his lap. "I already tried that, it failed miserably," you sigh. "Maybe it was the wrong genre of book?" he asks. You groan dramatically and drop your arm over your eyes. Walker begins to run her hand through your hair as she slides the fluffy end of her tail over your arm.

"You can always read fantasy," Prager continues. "I read a book series a while ago, A Court of Thorns and Roses, I thought it was a very good series." ‘Hmm,’ you think to yourself. ‘I'm pretty sure that's hardcore faerie porn.’ You only groan in response. "Or not, maybe mystery? Or thriller?" You don't answer. Prager pinches your calf and laughs when you try to kick his hand. "Or maybe you should pick a book on a subject, something like history, philosophy, baking or cooking or culture or something." Then you got an idea. You sit up abruptly. Walker's hand pauses midair. "What?" she asks. "That's it!" you exclaim.

Despite your haste, you gracefully try to jump off the couch. Unfortunately, it is not successful when you fall flat on your face. You jump up and pretend nothing happened. "What are you looking at? Nothing happened." you say when you see all your partners looking at you. Most look amused, some confused and others slightly concerned. "I have to go, I love you!" you shout as you run out the door. You hear everyone say they love you too, before the door closes behind you.

You run back to your own quarters to find your data pad. "Aha!" you exclaim when you find the device. You wait impatiently for it to start up. You quickly scan through all your documents until you find what you're looking for. Your grandmother's pastry recipes.

You pick out your favorite recipe, carrot cake with ginger, write down the ingredients you're going to need and run out of your room. The base doesn't have much of a supermarket, but they do have a small market where you can get what you need. Including various foods.

When you finally get back to your room, you go to work. You follow all instructions carefully. When you have just started your baking attempt, the intercom next to your door will turn on. "Darlin', are you there?" You hear Miles ask. "Yes!" call you back. "Ardmore’s sending us on a mission, we're leaving in five." "Okay!" you call again. "We wanted to let you know and say bye," Lyle said. "I'm busy!" you answer over your shoulder. "Shit," you mutter to yourself when about half of the flour falls next to the bowl.

"What was that, sweets?" Do you hear Z-dog ask. "Oh nothing, good luck on your mission!" "Aren't you coming out for a kiss?" you hear Brown ask, probably pouting. "Not right now, sorry babe," you apologize. Brown lets out a sound that resembles a sob and you sigh. Big mistake, because you accidentally blew into the bowl of flour that now covers your face. "Shut up man, when mami says not now, she means not now." Can you hear Lopez say in the background. You feel guilty but don't open the door, especially with flour on your face. "You'll get a kiss when you come back," you promise.

"I'll get a kiss, won't I Mami?" adds Lopez teasingly. "Hey! that's not fair!" exclaim Fike and Brown indignantly. "Okay, that's enough," Miles cuts off before an argument can ensue. "See you later Darlin', I think we'll be back in two hours." "See you later, love you and be careful!" You get several conformations of their affection for you before the intercom goes silent. You smile, hoping to surprise your partners with a cake when they return, and go back to reading the instructions.

Two hours later you were able to finish the cake. You spread the last of the cream cheese frosting over the cake and step back to admire your work. You nod in satisfaction, before your datapad pings.

"We're back, do you have time to come to us or we can come to you." Reads Mansk's message.

"Some of us anyway, don't think we all fit in your room."

You smile. "On my way," you text back.

You carefully pick up the giant cake. Gigantic, because you made the cake Recom large, of course. You walk out of your room, on your way to your partners. Your colleagues look surprised when you walk past with a giant cake. And you have a face full of flour, which you have already forgotten.

Arriving at the door to your partners' quarters, you realize that you cannot open the door with the extra doorknob (which is specially installed at your height) because of your full hands and therefore you cannot knock. You finally decide to kick the door with your shoe a few times. You hear a click and the door swings open. A confused Ja stands in the doorway. "What-?" he begins. "Hey babe! I made y’all a cake!" you interrupt him, slipping past him into the room.

"Ohhh," exclaims Fike. "What kind of cake?" "My favorite, carrot cake with ginger," you reply. Everyone looks at you with interest and confusion. "How did you suddenly come up with this, love?" asks Brown. "Prager suggested that maybe I could read about baking and cooking and then I thought of this." Explain. "It's my grandma's old recipe, I have hundreds of her recipes on my datapad," you continue.

"Where are Lyle and Miles? They're missing the cake," you ask when you can't see the two. "They're reporting on the mission for Ardmore," Mansk replies, taking the cake from you to cut a piece for everyone, a human-sized piece for yourself.

"So?" says Fike coming to stand next to you, "more for us." You hit him on the hip. "Be nice or I'll let Lyle eat your piece too." You warn him. He gives you an innocent grin and takes some of Mansk's plates to give to the others. "You have flour all over your face," says Ja, handing you a wet cloth to clean your face. You thank him and clean your face.

"Wait until Lyle and Miles get here," you warn when you see Lopez and Prager hungrily eyeing the cake. The two both pout, but obey you. You climb back onto the couch and patiently wait for the colonel and his second to arrive. After about ten minutes, the door finally opens and Lyle and Miles enter.

"Buttercup!" shouts Lyle excitedly when he sees you. "Hey Lyle, I made y'all a cake," you proudly announce. "Looks lovely," he says, kissing your forehead and plopping down on the couch. Miles sits on his recliner and picks up the cake plate to taste a piece. The others gather on the various sofas and follow his lead. You study everyone nervously, nervous that they don't like it. It remains silent. You assume it means they don't like it and start saying it's just your first try and that it's okay if it's not good, you'll do better next time.

"This is...," Z-dog begins. "Heavenly!" exclaims Brown. "This is your first time making this?" asks Miles curiously. You nod uncertainly. "It's really super tasty," he assures. Everyone nods in agreement. You smile and grab your own piece. It does indeed taste good. "Just like grandma made it," you nod with satisfaction. Meanwhile, the recoms have already finished their pieces and are arguing over who gets to have another piece. "Why don't you wait until tomorrow?" you suggest. "Then you can enjoy it longer." Your partners agree begrudgingly.

"If I can't have another piece of cake, can I at least have that kiss you promised?" pouts Brown. "Yes, me too!" says Lopez. "And me!" adds Fike. "You wait your turn," Z-dog scoffs. "Women first," she adds, as Walker nods in agreement. You laugh when another argument starts over who gets a kiss first.
