Had deadlines and family stuff and other obligations to fulfill but in the spare time you can bet Ive been playing pokemon. AND BOY HOWDY are there a lot I like. Assuming that Fraena can get a portal back to her world.... Casual Geographic x Monster Hunter with Fraena with Carter or Rook as the camera men. I'm talking about those hardcore Wildlife Cameramen that camp out in nature for months just to get a shot of some animal. Actually the more I think about it, this could be more like Crocodile Hunter? Maybe?

If Casual Geographic is more video showing pictures while explaining everything in a dead tone that adds to the hilarity.

We could say that Fraena is more hands on like Steve Irwin, she's got more emotion in her tone as she is doing the wrangling while explaining.

Also a portal to the world of Monster Hunter would be the worst yet the most thrilling idea because this reminds me of Prehistoric Park if anyone remembers that show.

A guy bringing back dinosaurs from the past into a sanctuary and all that except Fraena has two students and a staff member follow her to her world to document creatures beyond their understanding.

But this can also be like a mix with Ragegamingvideos explanation to each monster. I watch that guy and he is hilarious.

Of course their normal phones won't cut it, Ignihyde offers their services and made a new model of camera not found anywhere, small enough to fit in the pocket but has several functions and built-in lenses to get that 4K quality.

Plus it will not break easily.

The video man is Cater and Rook and they do most of the filming while they ask Fraena some questions regarding said monster. Vargas is the back up in case it gets dangerous for the boys but he's like a kid at a candy store as Fraena gets hands on in confronting a dangerous creature.

Cater/Rook: What is that weird creature? What does it do? How do you kill it?

Let's say we start with something relatively rookie level like a Great Jagras.

Fraena: *Fixing weapons and traps* That large lizard is a Jagras, a relatively easy target for rookie hunters but don't think you're safe. Let your guard down and that thing will swallow you whole.

Jagras: *Eats an Aptonoth whole*

Cater: ugh! *Vomiting*

Rook: Amazing!

Fraena: Stay here and don't leave the bushes, I'm tasked to help out hunt this thing that's bothering the locals so if you wanna tape it then do so at a distance. *Goes to confront the Jagras*

Vargas: *looking all amazed* I wanna fight it too... but I gotta watch these kids.

Bringing back that video to NRC would require a projector because many would forget to go to class just to witness Fraena take down the big iguana monster.

This reminds me of the time the teacher just let us watch a documentary instead of a lecture

This becomes a new thing among the staff, if they don't feel like teaching, they just pop in the documentary video and sip some coffee.

The videos won't escalate to handling the more dangerous monsters like the high rank ones or G rank. But if they really want to, Ignihyde has to come up with a body cam or a drone that would follow Fraena and avoid any incoming danger.

I can see it becoming like some sort of anime scene though. The NRC students watching from the safety of the school with their breaths in their throats as Fraena and her Palamute tag team to take down the monster.

I guess we can put in that that view from the Monster hunter games would be the drone that Ignihyde sent over and they were watching the whole thing unfold.

Overall, compared to @draftingteacups Casual Geographic with Pokemon with plenty of sarcasm yet a tone of seriousness. Soni would be fine in getting near the Pokemon and ocassionally show the "What would happen if you mess with this" though it was all in good fun.

Like, Pokemon can be safe if you treat them right.

That's not the case for Monster Hunter.

Fraena's Monster Hunter Documenatries would be mostly first part is to prepare and talking about what kind of monster she's facing leaving the audience to anticipate what they are facing.

Second halg of the documentary is her facing the monster and they are blown away by the appearance because the descriptions do it no justice.

Or unless she has to fight a Gypceros then they won't be amazed, more like "WTF"

Maybe I'll make a short drabble out of this with different monsters.

okay i’m gonna ramble abt my pokemon and their names below the cut, now. pokemon scarlet is really fun so far!

okay so my starter was fuecoco, who is now a skeledirge, of course. his name is chamaco bc he is best boy. lol

i also have a mudsdale again! you all may remember (lol no you won’t) that my Number One Best Boy in pokemon shield was a mudsdale named jack! he was so named bc i--well, i typically do joke names for my pokemon. lol whatever comes to mind first as a reference, and then i spin off of that. so “jackass” for donkey (bc mudbrays look like lil donkeys) and therefore jack bc that’s a Name. lol

SO my mudsdale THIS time is a sweet gal whomst i’ve named jackie jr. she is PERFECT and i LOVE HER and she’s SO STRONG. she maxed out the friendship stat w me SO FUCKING FAST. we are at FIVE HEARTS and SOARING! she dodges attacks, withstands critical hits, LANDS critical hits, shakes off status effects--all bc she Loves Me and i LOVE HER. even chamaco, who is ALSO grossly overleveled for where i am, hasn’t maxed out his friendship w me! incredible. mudsdales are just my best friends, i guess. lol

i also just defeated the montenevera ghost gym which was REALLY FUCKING FUN!!!! i LOVE doubles battles now. lol

my team for that (only 4 of em got used, including jackie jr) was a tinkaton named molly, a dedenne named denow, a pawniard named godiva (who did not get used bc she is, unfortunately, not v fast & ryme’s pokemon were SO FAST), a sneasel named hash, and a dachsbun named sopapilla (also wasn’t used--ended up just not being required). 

molly the tinkaton is so named bc i think the tinkatinks look like baby dolls, so i named her after the american girl doll molly. lol 

dedenne is named denow bc denne (the way i say it, at least) just sounds like “then” so.....”now” lol

the pawniard godiva basically went knight/soldier --> horses --> “girl” pokemon --> lady godiva

sneasel named hash was shortened from the hash slinging slasher from spongebob lol

the dachsbun--every fidough and dashsbun i have is named after a different sweet pastry. i had already used a few others by the time i caught this one, so sopapilla she became. lol

other fun pokemon names i have

crabrawler named mr. krabs. obvious

a pawmi/pawmo named knope. pawmi sounded like pawnee as in pawnee indiana as in parks and rec. it’s yellow/blond, so knope after leslie knope. lol (however unlike leslie knope, this poor thing cannot accomplish anything; kept getting oneshotted in EVERY SINGLE BATTLE even with type AND level advantages, and always went last, so i removed them from the team)

a yellow/electric oricorio named graham. i haven’t used her on my team for a bit, but she was VERY fun bc she loved obliterating other pokemon and then doing her little cheerleader cheer. adorable. she’s named graham bc that was clea duvall’s character’s name in but i’m a cheerleader. lol

there’s also a bergmite named titanic. obvious.

a falinks named stratagem. 

i have a primeape named don john. this one is a bit of a story. the fucking thing wouldn’t stay in the FUCKING POKEBALL when i was trying to catch it. i just kept shouting BASTARD. FUCKER. and then when i caught it i was like i have to name this fucking bastard. so i went “who’s a famous shakespearean bastard” so don john it was bc that’s the bastard villain in much ado about nothing.

a bombirdier is named bomberjacket. obviously.

a bronzor named robro. for no real reason. robot-adjacent. bro as in pal.

a flittle named didi bc it looks like dexter’s sister from dexter’s laboratory.

a torkoal named orly in honor of the tortle orly from critical role campaign two. lol

a foongus named mogus. OBVIOUSLY. 

a grafaiai named jeff, in honor of jeff corwin, who loves funky little creechurs. it was either that or steve, but i already had one of those koala pokemon named irwin.

a zorua named hot topic. again, obvious.

a wiglett named wormy. obvious and also a spongebob reference

a red/fire oricorio named cecilia. i just looked up lists of famous flamenco dancers and chose a name. she is graham’s gf. lol

i also caught two finizen. one “boy” and one “girl”, whom i named frank and lisa, respectively. hoping i don’t need to explain that one. lol 

oh god i caught an espathra and named it limu. utter nonsense, but EXTREMELY funny.

i have a rolycoly named calcifer jr bc on my final team in pokemon shield i had a coalossal named calcifer. 

i didn’t bother doing this for all of the meowths and other kitty pokemon, but i do at least have one meowth named rumpleteazer. 

i have two girafarig--jeffrey and jessica. bc. toys r us. 

a naclstack named saltlick. boring and obvious.

all of the shinx that i caught were named something with an x at the end, like beatrix. 

similar to godiva, i have another pawniard named gallahad.

my silicobra is called sidewinder.

my mimikyu is called sadboi.

OH i can’t believe i forgot abt him! i have a charcadet named ZUKO! bc of course i had to.

oh i was proud of the silly names for my tadbulbs/bellibolts: philhamenta and floralescent. lolololol (filament and philhemina, floral and flourescent)

a cyclizar named garyl bc Also Duh.

a shroomish named alexis in honor of the black forager whomst i follow on instagram. lol

i named a murkrow hatred bc IT WOULD NOT STAY IN THE FUCKING BALL. IT TOOK LIKE 7 DIFFERENT MURKROW AND LIKE 25 BALLS JUST TO CATCH ONE. i was infuriated by the end of it.

oh i named the squawkabillies that i caught after the mother of rock n roll, so there’s rosetta and tharpe. and then also bruce just bc. lol

 my sandygast was named calvin bc it reminds me of the snowmen that calvin from calvin and hobbes used to make. lol

i named a skiddo shoom bc: goat. yuzu is the Goat. yuzu is too obvious and doesn’t have anything to do w a grass type pokemon. we call baby yuzu shoom bc he had a mushroom haircut for a long time. this skiddo is the “baby” form of its eventual evolution. and therefore: shoom.

i have a fletchling named gayle and a fletchinder named chris. in honor of chris fleming, bc fletchling reminded me of the name fleming. and gayle bc GAYLE! 

azumarill named tink bc i’m not creative.

oh my god i can’t believe i forgot. i have a klawf named tumblr. i don’t need to explain that one. lol

oh i have a shroodle named porfo. why? bc it looks UTTERLY FUCKING BIZARRE and vaguely resembled porfo, a character who is The Mascot of drawfee. 

i have a flabebe named moira. thoughts: flower = rose. the rose family from schitt’s creek. ~flabebe~ is how moira pronounces baby in the show. hence. moira.

a bonsly named james bond. hopefully also obvious.

the first smoliv i caught was named kalamata. bc that is the Best Kind of olive. lol

i named my rookidee (who is now a corvisquire) beth, after beth from queen’s gambit. bc. y’know, rook.

i also have a floatzel named yeet. lol

OH and most importantly i have a tandemaus named dubstep. bc deadmau5. 

OKAY THAT’S IT. just wanted to have some fun w the names n stuff. lol

so far my Absolute Precious Babies are:

jackie jr the mudsdale, chamaco the skeledirge, graham the electric oricorio, molly the tinkaton, tink the azumarill (who obliterated TWO team star fortresses almost entirely on her own), and denow the dedenne.

there are some other cuties, but these lil guys are the Bestest lil guys. lol

Hello, I am back with some more Soni and Lucille interacting headcannons (feat. Happiny and Luce’s Pokemons)

Luce has a Gogoat and a Florges and they join Soni’s Dairy Team and Berry Team. She did wish that her sister’s Leavanny is here as well as it would make spinning threads a lot faster.

Luce crying a second time after arriving in Twisted Wonderland after Soni translated how much Lucille’s Pokemons love her.

The girls take shifts in their jobs so the other could get sufficient sleep.

Happiny being gentle with Lucille’s Pokemon egg, waiting for the little one to hatch so she could have a little sibling to play with along with with her Big Sis Chansey and her Big Bro Pichu .

Happiny calling Lucille Auntie Lucy shall live in my head rent free.

Lucille can’t really sing, but she can play a soft tune on the piano and put Happiny and her Pichu to sleep when it’s bed time.

You remember that Pokemon episode about a special delivery Houndoom and Togepi, yeah that’s Onion the Houndoom with Happiny (and Pichu and the Pokemon the Egg will hatch into)

Happiny about to get into danger ? Don’t worry, Luce’s Pokemons are there to the rescue !

Floyd picking up Happiny and about to go somewhere ? Aerosmith the Talonflame dive bombed him and getting the eel burned in the process.

Happiny somehow on too of a tree ? Sonic the Noivern is up there within seconds and give her a ride. He will then uses his ultrasonic waves to look for the freshest and ripest fruits to share with Happiny

Going for a swim in Octavinelle ? Anjawlica the Feraligatr is there as a floatie and to supervise, ready to perform the Feraligatr Death Roll on anyone that tries any funny business.

Some students about to pick on Happiny bc she is small and “weak” ? Suddenly they fell into a large pit that was dug by Jawsephine the Gabite/Garchomp.

Crowley about to approach Happiny ? Not to worry, Onion the Houndoom is chasing him up onto a tree within seconds.

Soni might have met one of Lucille’s older sisters before as the younger one is currently training to take over Malva who will retire soon due to her old ties with Team Flare.

While Casual Geographic Soni’s narrating style is like the guy who runs the channel (i don’t his name unfortunately), Casual Geographic Lucille is like a mix between David Attenborough and a cautious Steve Irwin.

I also headcanon that if the girls have Sygna suits, Soni’s would based on Dior while Lucille’s would be based on Onion. (Seriously, i love the Sygna suits from Pokemon Master and whoever designed them needs a raise)

Aw 🥺 those are so cute! This is kind of a what-if situation, so this is just for fun, just in case anyone's thinking this is canon to the fic just as an fyi

Soni might not tell Lucille about her ability to talk directly from Pokemon speech. It'd be something where Dior would communicate the feelings through psychic power than flat-out saying something due to Soni's fear of someone finding out about her Blessed status.

Soni getting sleep? With the Braincell Trio? She might be dreaming- jk, I can see her being like "Can you deal with them for like five minutes? They can't be left alone. Otherwise, Aegis might chase them up a tree again."

Happiny being a big sibling to the Pokemon Egg and protecting it my heart 💕💕💕 THE HAPPINY PROTECTION SQUAD she deserves it because the little bab is too nice

That Pokemon Episode with Togepi and Houndoom was one of my favorites. It was so cute, so imagining that with Happiny 🥺🥺🥺 that's maximum cuteness

Oooh, if Soni did see/meet Lucille's siblings, that would definitely be interesting. Mostly because Soni's reputation in Kalos varies wildly, depending on the person that someone talks to, so idk how Lucille's sister would react to Soni because of that.

Although, if she's taking over Malva's spot, Soni would be simultaneously relaxed and tense due to outside interference, nobles who have connections through Malva, and previous sponsorship clauses. That's if we're dealing with my world's Malva, but idk in this headcanon.

I was contemplating the idea that Lucille was like a cautious Steve Irwin, based on what I knew about her. It's like Soni's the one to inform, but Lucille's more showing the danger up-front.

Oooh 👀 Sygma Suits look really cool. That's actually funny because Soni's Ceremonial Cloak is somewhat based on a Gardevoir, so for her Sigma Suit to look based on one sounds fitting. One day I will draw Soni's Ceremonial Cloak, but that's in the future!

Pokemon Horizons is going to come out in a few days. There's already fan art of it everywhere. Some people have even cosplayed as Liko, Roy, and Ash... here is where I have a problem. Liko is Ash's daughter. Some people who are cosplaying as Liko are the girlfriends of people who are cosplaying as Ash, and sometimes they're in the same picture. And they're doing their normal BF GF stuff in some of the pictures. This is the kind of shit that made me quit Buzzly. How does everyone else feel about this?

If you're asking me, personally... I don't know. Though is this not like saying if I'm a kangaroo for Halloween and my BF is Steve Irwin, and we make out, it's bestiality? Crikey! But yeah it goes against the act either way.

Important Info: I'm physically disabled and have been since I was born. I don't mind talking about that though. Because of my disability I spent a good chunk of time in hospitals after surgeries. I find hospitals comforting, so medcore things will be on this blog.

I've also had anger issues since I was a kid. So tantrums, yelling and being angry was what I was like as a kid. And while I don't think I'll make that many posts of my own it's important that I don't hide those things from people. If you know Muffin from Bluey I basically would act like that if I didn't hide that part of myself because I don't want to frustrate another parental figure and make their lives harder like I did my actual parents. Hate rules and following them.

I've started having memory problems recently. Because of this, when I list my favorite things I won't just list 2 or 3, I'll list all of them because I don't want to forget them. I'll put the long list of favorite things at the end so that I can just update it as I feel like it.

List Of Favorite Things (As A Kid) Animals: Bats are my all time favorite animal and always have been. Along with them I like snakes, tasmanian devils, komodo dragons, alligators, and crocodiles. But as my blog name is all-around-animal-kid, I like all animals.

Books: Stellaluna of course, The Little Puppy, The Very Hungry Caterpillar, Chipmunk On Hollow Tree Lane, and A Dog’s Life: Autobiography Of A Stray

Colors: Light blue & pink (makes me think of cotton candy), Red, Blue, Yellow, Green (Primary colors), Orange/Black/Dark Brown (Halloween mix of colors), Pastel colors in the context of Easter, annnddddd silver! For stars and moon and stuff!

Holidays: Easter (I love all the colors associated with it and easter egg hunts) and Halloween (love black/orange colored things, and love the holiday in general)

School Stuff: Favorite subject is biology! I like animal anatomy stuff and animal science! But also probably kindergarten and preschool type stuff -shrugs-

Season: Autumn! I love the colors of the leaves changing and the weather!

And it’s not technically a song but I’ll put it here anyways; the Lori’s Natural Foods commercial from...Apparently 2012 but I could swear it was earlier than that.

Shows: Top Favorite Shows: Meerkat Manor, The Most Extreme, Cyberchase, Fetch! with Ruff Ruffman, Wild Kratts, Zoboomafoo, Scooby-Doo, Chowder, Paw Patrol, and Max & Ruby.

Animal Planet back in its 'golden years' I'll call it, was always what I'd enjoy watching. Meerkat Manor and The Most Extreme were two of my favorites. But I also spent time watching Animal Precinct. Other shows include Steve Irwin Crocodile Hunter, Pet Star, Planets Funniest Animals, It's Me Or The Dog, My Cat From Hell, and Lost Tapes.

PBS Kids was also what I'd watch a lot. Shows include classics like Arthur, Cyberchase which helped me with math, and Fetch! with Ruff Ruffman, Word World, the old Clifford The Big Red Dog, Sagwa, Between The Lions, Dragon Tales, Zoboomafoo, and Wild Kratts
