I am so feral for this!

Fall Risk Written & Directed by Alex Martini based on her own life!

Fall Risk is a heartbreaking true story of love and betrayal, and the turmoils of trust. This story is based on Martini's 2021 MS diagnosis and the upheaval of a relationship she thought she had. Although a story of heartbreak, at its core this film is a story of deception from both the body and the heart.

My thoughts...

I have a feeling that this will be devastating. One because Miss Victoria Pedretti loves complex devastating characters and this character is chronically ill and literally a Fall Risk! This is based on the writer and director's personal life with chronic illness as well as a relationship that sounds like it may have issues.

I am beyond excited to see this! It is real and raw and brutally honest from what I can tell.

I identify as a lesbian and have been in a lot of situations, relationships, and dates and have queer friends who have shared experiences with me and I just want to say that unfortunately the rate of both mental and physical abuse is high in female x female relationships it doesn't look like hetero abuse and that's the deceiving thing that gets women trapped in toxic relationships. I bring this up because I have a feeling that this queer relationship will have some form of abuse. I am actually hoping it does, makes things more realistic and needs to be shown. Real representation.

It sounds like Dylan played by VP has been sick her entire life meaning the girlfriend maybe is used to and enjoys taking care of her and likes that Dylan is reliant on her. I'm thinking Dylan starts to get better at managing her chronic illnesses maybe a treatment actually helps and doesn't rely on the girlfriend as much and this causes the girlfriend to take matters into her own hands to keep Dylan sick. Just a theory from the bits I've read.

What do you guys think? No matter what I'm already obsessed with it!

I know I'm probably going to end up visiting family for Thanksgiving, and I'm debating so much.

I want to wear a pin or two with my pronouns on them

I want to bring my partner with me

But I don't want to start arguements

I want to be able to call my parents out or confront them but I don't at the same time

I'm scared of being hurt, or accused of things, or disowned

I want to be myself, but my family has been such an unsafe environment for that my whole life

What I can and can't do always changes, especially around extended family

I want to cut them off and forget about them

I always have

But now that I'm nearing the point where I can do that.. I'm scared

I've always been alone, but making it so official is so terrifying

Giving them a reason to cut me off first is terrifying.

Rolling over and just pretending for a few hours is terrifying, I finally got away from having to do that and now I have to debate doing it again?

I just... I wish I could've had a family that was accepting. Things would be easier then. But instead I have to debate if I want to bring the person I plan to marry to thanksgiving dinner, because I'm worried it could end in genuine violence

It's not fair. And I know that sounds so whiney, but my younger sister, who's barely 16, can bring the boy she started dating a week ago to thanksgiving dinner, and I'm still not sure if I'm even allowed to bring the person I've been dating for 3 years just because we're a queer relationship

Even if I go alone, I'm subjecting myself to hours of being miserable. Or I wear a pin, declaring that I'm transgender, and setting myself up for "it's just a phase" "don't shove it down our throats" "back in MY day.."

Despite that I've known I was trans since I was 12. Despite the fact that I just want to be treated with basic respect.

I have to worry, that being myself, around the people who are supposed to care for me unconditionally and love me ways the rest of the world can't, that I could end up as a statistic, or be cut off or belittled to the point of dehumanization.

And it's just not fair. I'm so tired of it. I wish this was easier

Hey there everyone! I was inspired by some friends to finally make a new introduction post, this one for me and my system. I am an endogenic soulbond system named the Dragon Soulbond System. I am married to my in-system spouse Vandarian, and we plan on sharing more of us and our system together!

About Our Relationship

Vandarian and I have been together since the 29th of December 2015 and married in May 8th 2018 (this is a guess since we were going through trauma at the time and don’t remember our exact marriage date) and we have three beautiful soulbond children! I’ve been host to a soulbond system since I was very young but didn’t know until recently that I was part of a system or what it was called, I just called things my own words until I learnt of the term soulbond and endogenic systems. I feel so much happier being able to connect to my soulbonds in a better way which is awesome! We thought we’d make a proper post for everyone to know about us :)

Noven Hethreku | 24 | He/they

I am Noven Hethreku, but you can also call me Dragon or Entesi. I am a disabled, queer, autistic dragonkin boy from Australia who is a digital artist and character designer. I am obsessed with dragons and cats, and I love drawing characters based off of them and also other creatures that I like. I am a practitioning psychic and medium and I often practice my magical abilities with my soulbonds. I am in the process of making things such as a webcomic and a video game and I want to make content for people to feel happy about and see what I like to make. I try to draw where I can and when I want to I often commission others for art of me and my soulbonds. I treasure my soulbonds very deeply and I’m so happy to be able to share them with you guys!

About Van

Vandarian Rintzu Bluuven | 26 | They/them or fae/faer, occasionally he/him

I apologise for the old art, this is the only full reference I have of them that I’ve drawn, but I plan on redrawing them!

Vandarian is my spouse. They are from a species of alien called Bluuven (they don’t like being called alien by most people though as it has bad memories tied to it) and they are two years older than me. They are incredibly intelligent and can build almost any sort of technology, and can also grow sweet plants with their magic. They’re very sassy and have a lot of energy, and they’re very protective of me and my soulbonds. Van has DID, schizophrenia, autism, PTSD, anxiety and depression, and we help each other through the things that are upsetting us. They are very talented at many things such as dancing and singing, and they love showing off for others by looking good and showing that they’re very talented in the stuff they can do. They have tentacles in their back and they have mind reading abilities which are both from their species but they also have some unique abilities other members of their species don’t have. They are an absolute sweetheart and make me so happy
